Six Fun Fact

Because I'm obsessed with spreadsheets, I've been slowly adding more and more data to my little (ok it's big and slows my computer down hardcore) spreadsheet of Six information. After adding initial debut dates for every role each performer had, I came across a little fun fact: of the 73 unique debut orders performers in Six who performed 2 to 6 roles have had, there have, to this date, been 3 groups of people who debuted all the roles they have performed (again, to this date) in the exact same order; 2 groups of 3 who debuted 3 roles, and 1 group of 2 who debuted 2 roles:

Yep, the lace-up panel just overlays black. There's a bunch of little changes like that for this cast. I've been working on a costume breakdown but haven't had time to finish it yet.

This week in SIX Chaos!

Another surprisingly quiet week for America. Broadway has again, had no notable chaos take place, other than (Replacement??) Alt Nicole Kyoung-Mi Lambert Suddenly going on for the role of Cleves on the 22nd/23rd despite almost a month of no shows & other Cleves cover Jana Larell Glover being within the building, having done the matinee on the 22nd

Over on the Boleyn tour, Alternates seem to finally be getting into the swing of things! New alt Caroline Siegrist has finally made their Tour Debut in the role of Katherine Howard after nearly 2 entire months of being with the cast! A parr debut may also be on the horizon, as we have pictures of her in full costume & Makeup!

Australia has seen it's 1st Midshow-swing on for the 2024 cast! Silver swing Chiara Assetta replaced Primary Cleves Zelia Rose Kitoko After the number "Don't lose ur head" on The evening show of the 22nd!

In london, The production seems to have lost its 2 divorcee's for a short while. Whilst Primary Cleves Reca Oakley was expected, given her American heritage & obviously wanting to be with her family over the Holidays, Nikki Bentley was supposed to re-join the production over a week ago! Hope she feels better soon! Alternate Hannah Lowther has also unexpectedly gone on for their 2nd cover, Boleyn yesterday.

And here we are again, with the Uk tour.

Beginning on a positive note, Principal Boleyn Yna Tresvalles has returned to the production after a well deserved break!

Now. Somehow, the Tour has found itself in even MORE chaos than it's previous stop, which involved queens re-debuting roles after 2 years!

1: Primary Parr Eloise Lord is yet to return to the production, having not performed a show since December 1st! In addition, primary Seymour Liberty Stottor seems to have also unfortunately fallen ill. As with Nikki, hope both queens feels better soon.

2: Because of this, Previous Super Swing Harriet Caplan-Dean has been re-called once again to perform multiple parr shows whilst her current contract, The uk tour of &Juliet, is on a Christmas break. She now holds the record for the most emergency covers in any production of SIX, comically beating out Another Harriet, Harriet Watson.

3: Alternate Milly Willows is once again playing Principal, this time with her other first cover, Catherine of Aragon. She has not had 1 show off!

4: A MASS of 2nd cover debuts & Debuts have been suddenly announced, more than likely to balance out the utter pandemonium that has suddenly befallen the tour! A: Izzy Formby-Jackson Shall debut the role of Cleves on December 29th, leaving her 5/6 for swingo! B: Lorren Santo-Quinn Shall finally re-unite with her previous prinaipal queen, Boleyn on December 31st! C: And finallly, Milly Willows shall debut the role of Seymour on January 2nd 2025! Good luck to them all!

We can only hope the currently ill queens take the time needed to rest up & get better. Happy Christmas, and tune in Next Tuesday for more SIX Chaos!

'24-'25 Six UK Tour 2nd/3rd Cover Possibilities

Now that the Six UK Tour has released its cast for 2024-25, I, as someone who practically documents everything in spreadsheets, had to spend 3 hours listing out (and formatting in fancy tables) all the possibilities for the new Alternates' (Milly Willows, Erin Summerhayes, and Lorren Santo-Quinn) 2nd and 3rd covers.

I did this in two different ways, because genuinely in the magic that is the chaos of Six, know one knows what direction they'll go with coverage. I first listed the possibilities for if they follow the trend of the 2023-24 UK Tour cast (all three alternates cover all six roles, having two each of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd covers, a total of 10* possibilities...), and then I listed the possibilities for if they follow the trend of the current West End cast (the three alternates have two 1st covers and one 2nd cover, a total of 40* possibilities...). Both of which, I grouped into various categories with explanations as to why I grouped them and are more or less in order of likelihood (at least from my perspective).

*: please note, this is off a first glance, and while I'm confident I hit every possibility, I'm human and make mistakes haha. But nonetheless please let me know!

So without further ado:

Assuming Alternates Cover All Six Queens:

Group 1:

2nd/3rd covers take one from each of the other two alts (and Lorren is 2nd cover Boleyn)

Group 2:

Alt Coverage Groups Stay Consistent (Like the West End cast from 2021-22)

Group 3:

The rest of the options

Assuming Alternates Only Have One 2nd Cover:

Group 1:

Lorren's 2nd cover is Boleyn (which would make sense as she was principal Boleyn on NCL)

Group 2:

Given Milly covers two of the roles Izzy did not cover on NCL, this provides additional options where 2 out of 3 of the 2nd covers are roles Izzy did not cover on NCL (which, in my head, will likely be the three she will debut first)

Group 3:

The remaining logical ones (much like the current West End Alts), where one of each of the Alts 1st covers is another queen's 2nd cover

Group 4.1:

Both of Milly's 1st covers are 2nd covers (unlikely)

Group 4.1.1:

Same thought as 4.1, but at least all three 2nd covers are roles Izzy did not cover on NCL (less unlikely but more likely than the rest of Group 4)

Group 4.2:

Both of Erin's 1st covers are 2nd covers (unlikely)

Group 4.3:

Both of Lorren's 1st covers are 2nd covers (unlikely)

Like I said, this was made rather quickly, so if I missed a possible arrangement, please let me know and I'll update it! I feel like it's (obviously) too early to make any guesses, and I'm not familiar with a lot of these performers, but regardless of the outcome, the most confident guess I can give is Lorren will be 2nd cover Boleyn. Additionally, I genuinely feel that given this production is going to be international and not just in the UK, hopefully Six will learn their lesson (lol calling Natalie Pilkington in the Philippines now) and have the alternates continue the UK Tour alternate and West End (prior to the 2024-25 cast) alternate coverage system and have them cover all six roles, with an alternate costume for the 2nd and 3rd covers. But, at the end of the day, it's Six. Chaos will likely happen regardless haha.

I'm also curious if anyone else has any predictions on what the 2nd (and hopefully 3rd) cover system and distribution will be! We'll all probably be wrong (watch them do two 2nd covers and no 3rd covers somehow), but hey, speculation is one of the best parts of this show and fandom haha
