Burnout has tried oh so very hard to rip this book and its characters from me, but here I am... still drawing the same characters... still determined to return to the drawing board again and again and again.

I want to thank the amaaaazing @yelmor-boots for Izzy Annesley's brand new design! I had so much fun trying to put my own spin on it with this drawing. Please check out their incredible art, I love every single drawing on that blog.

And I would also really like to thank everyone here who followed the first couple of chapters when I slowly began to release them a couple of years ago, and also thank you for your patience during the story's loooong hiatus. I appreciate every single one of you, my readers!

SOME FUN TRIVIA FOR YA’LL:

Izzy was 13 years old in the first draft of the book, and he's now 15 1/2 during the fifth (?fifth??) draft. Isaac went through a lot of name changes. Lucas Kennicot and Israel were two of them. I decided to name him Isaac now, instead.

Meet Israel Annesley!

Israel is the broody, smart and slightly more obedient friend of Jude. Sent to a disciplinary school as an example for his more rebellious friends, Israel is always trying to do the right thing. This becomes rather difficult when he joins Jude and Emily in their ghost hunting expedition. He didn’t sign up for saving the day, yet here he is.
