Hello and welcome to Day 25 of "Let's Explore My Plot Bunnies"
(I did indeed get sick 😷)
Tumblr media
Seeing as there are just a few days left of the Lantern Rite event in Genshin, I wish everyone Happy Lantern Rite!
I finished playing through the event story today, and I enjoyed it very much. But it also brought back a fic idea I had a long time ago so I decided to actually talk about it today.
This is a MHA fic idea, where Izuku is the reincarnation of Xiao from Genshin Impact. Why did my brain come up with this? Because both are small, green, and need to be rolled up in blankets and protected at all cost.
I still don't have a title for this, nor do I have a fully thought-out plan for this fic, but yeah, the idea is interesting. So if anyone has any ideas for the titles, please share them - I need the help.
Basically, after Xiao (somehow) dies in the Genshin Impact universe, he is reincarnated as Midoriya Izuku, but his memories are quite fumbled so he doesn't know who he was in his past life.
Midoriya Izuku has a Quirk in this life - the ability to summon a Spear out of thin air (usually he summons Primordial Jade Cutter.) He is still interested in Hero work, but mostly because he sees the other Pro-Heroes failing at their jobs more often than not - or rather, the other Pro-Heroes are as efficient as they could be. (My brain: "Knights of Favonious. Inefficient as ever."... Diluc get out of my head)
Regardless, Izuku and Inko are caught up on a bank robbery at one point. Here, Izuku manages to get the people out before the actual Pro Heroes arrive and uses his Quirk to do so. His Quirk attracts both the scorn of the Pro-Heroes who say that he is reckless and the admiration of the people he saved. Out of those people, four of them are extremely interested in Izuku but also not that confident to actually approach him.
Those 4 are the reincarnations of Xiao's old comrades: Bosacius (who has a Mutant Quirk that makes him have 4 arms and he is also able to use electricity in his attacks), Bonanus (who has a Quirk that let's her make use of water to create a bow and arrows to fight from afar with), Indarias (whose Quirk let's her use Fire to attack others) and Menogias (whose Quirk allows him to control the soil to create walls for protection or projectiles to attack others).
Their Yaksha name will be their Hero Name, which means that Izuku's hero name will be Alatus in this. So the other Hero Names would be Chizapus (for Bonanus); Musatas (for Indarias); Kapisas (for Menogias), and Vritras (for Bosacius).
They do in fact remember their previous life and, while they want to talk with Izuku, they don't know if he actually remembers being Xiao.
They do approach him one day, when they find Izuku at a cafe they usually frequent. That same cafe is actually run by the reincarnation of Pervases, who also remembers his previous life. Izuku ended up coming to his cafe because he needed a place to stay and relax while waiting for his mother to finish work.
After they introduce themselves, the 5 become friends. They realize Izuku doesn't remember much of anything from his previous life and, truth to be told, they feel glad that at least in one life Xiao doesn't need to suffer from guilt and karmic debt.
All 5 wish to become heroes, so they decide that maybe they could make a Hero Team. Since then, they have decided to meet at Pervases' Cafe and talk about their training plans. They even plan their hero costumes together, and they decide to wear masks as part of their costumes. (The masks are the same as the Yaksha ones they have originally)
When it is time to choose a Hero School to attend, all 5 decide to attend a lesser known one - still haven't thought of a name for it - but Izuku is tempted to apply to UA, if not to actually attend, just to test how well he can do in the UA entrance exam which is said to be incredibly difficult. Since the UA entrance exam is set on a different date from the exam of the school the 5 friends want to go to, the others encourage Izuku to try the UA Exam.
Izuku does and still saves Ochako. However, while saving Ochako, something strange happens - Izuku's Quirk evolves, and now he can use wind powers while wielding his Spear.
He still goes with Bonanus, Bosacius, Indarias, and Menogias to the school they choose, even after Izuku is accepted into UA. After the Sport Festival for UA is done, the 5 also get to go to an internship together and the Pro Hero that will become their mentor is the Underground Hero - Morax, who is known for his ability to manipulate any soil or metal/stone material and make either shields or weapons from them.
Izuku and the others train hard under Morax's guidance, and they decide that once they graduate, they will choose Morax's agency as their starting point for their hero career.
In the future, their school gets an invitation for a coordinated training class together with Class 1-A and Class 1-B from UA during the summer. That will be their formal introduction to both the students of UA and League of Villains who attack them during the class.
How will they react to the sudden attention they garnered during the summer training class - from both heroes and villains alike? And how will they continue on their path to becoming heroes while dealing with the problems that said attention brought them? Will Izuku remember his memories of his life as Xiao?
(And will there be more people that are reincarnations in this fic? Yes - the answer is a loud and resounding "yes".)
And this is about all I have for this fic.
What do you think? Good? Bad? Kinda crack?
This idea is not that well thought out in terms of plot yet, but honestly, I like the idea that my brain came up with. And Xiao's mini-quest after the Lantern Rite Event (where he released a Xiao Lantern with us) just brought back the idea to me. Also, I wanna say that I want to give Izuku and the other 4 (plus any other reincarnations) their Visions (mostly as an ornament - since they do have their Quirk that do the elemental attacks).
Regardless, I wish you a great day/night, and I hope you all take care!
See you tomorrow,
-TooManyPlotBunnies-Send Help (this time for real cause I feel terrible)

Deku - Midoriya Izuku
TW: NSFW, dubcon, f!reader, asshole Hero Deku
Tumblr media
Just thinking about Deku’s fangirl.
How lucky you felt when he took you home after you’d asked for his autograph in a bar – thinking about the expectations you had, how many times you’d imagined Hero Deku singing sweet praises in your ear as he made sweet love to you oh-so-softly – and thinking about how hard you choked on your spit when you understood just how far away those fantasies were from the truth as he fucks you like you’re shooting a hardcore porn-video.
His hand presses down hard on your face, mushing your head halfway into the white hotel pillow while his other hand fists the band of your skirt to keep you up in a pretty slope as he pounds your puffy cunt only in harsh slaps – hips clapping your ass as he uses your skirt to pull you back to meet the sharp thrusts as though you’re but a means to an end to make him cum.
Oh, but you’d been Deku’s number-one fan for years, and you’d been so giddy and excited as he’d paid for the hotel in the reception, feeling so lucky and honored, unable to fathom how any of it was even happening. Biting your lip with shy eyes blinking sheepishly, thinking of how sweet and gentle he would be in bed – so, so, so surprised when he had you pushed flat against the elevator wall with two of his fingers hooked on your tongue to make you yelp out a moan while his other hand found your cunt and squeezed the mound as though staking a claim.
You don’t really enjoy it when it’s rough – it scares you, to say the least – but this is the number-one hero, and you’re not so confident to protest when you feel you should be grateful that he’s at all touching you – even though it feels like he’s running your stomach through.
Looking over your shoulder, you can spot tattoos you’ve never seen on screen, the tribal kind that you’d expect to see only on gang members and otherwise other types of bad guys you’d not want touching you at all. He’s also wearing chains, the slim silver kind douchebags wear and compare. He’s even got fat rings on his fingers, digging into your skin where he pressures down on your face with his thumb hooked in your cheek to keep you singing mewls for him while he swings into you from behind harder and harder each time – grinning when watching how you grip the sheets in whitened knuckles as your whole body jumps on every impact.
He tips you over after a while, but missionary had never felt so threatening as he immediately locks your throat in a fist – his lips ghosting your parted ones with grunts and hot air, green eyes salaciously enjoying the show of you gasping for breath as he fucks the moans right out of you in harsh and deep strokes hitting you in new and tender places – forcing your toes to curl in the air, thighs hiked on his hips.
His other hand holds the top of your head, blunt nails push smilies into your scalp – and it all just smothers you enough to make you cry as his lips and teeth graze your cheek with a leer. “I like my sluts like this- submissive. Taking it like happy little whores in love with getting dick in their wet cunt.”
It’s not the type of sweet talk you wanted, but still, his low and gravely grunting voice forms a fist in your belly and makes you tighten on the fat shaft that has you speared. He groans at the tightness, biting your cheek as his hips stutter, shooting his load inside you without warning.
You’re in shock. Feeling the sweat between your bodies and the warmth of it inside you. You can only stare blankly up at the hotel ceiling fan and halfway wonder why you’d not thought better of it when he’d booked you into such a cheap and sleazy place.
You hear the popping of the Sharpie, but it doesn’t register. Nor does how he pushes the felt tip of it down in the softness of your tit. He scribbles something – cap held between his lips and teeth as he asks, “Wha’ was’h your name again?”
You mumble it dumbly without asking yourself why as he writes the letters on your skin. You don’t flinch when he pulls his phone from the nightstand and takes a picture with the flash on.
He doesn’t stay for long.
Actually, he doesn't stay at all. He doesn’t even shower before pulling his pants on and leaving with his shirt draped over his shoulder.
You look in the mirror after willing yourself to get up.
Your chest reads Deku, number 47, then your name.

Izuku's breaths came in harsh uneven gasps as he stood facing the group of villains, his heart pounding as he tried to process what had just happened.
The forest was thick with tension and the heavy smoke still lingered from the fiery blast they’d barely dodged.
Shoji and Todoroki flanked him, their stances tense, but their expressions showed the same panic that gripped the greenette's heart.
Somewhere in that twisted cruel circle of villains was Bakugo and Tokoyami—captured into a marble.
Izuku’s mind raced, frantically searching for a way to get to him.
But before he could act, a flash of movement darted toward him, and a weight tackled him to the ground.
“Hi Izuku! My name’s Toga!” The voice was cheerful, almost sweet. Izuku found himself staring up into manic eyes framed by blonde hair.
Toga straddled him, her knife pressed to his throat with a disturbing gentleness. She giggled as she leaned closer until her nose was nearly brushing his.
Her lips curled into a twisted smile.
"I've been thinking since I saw you..." she said with a breathless giggle, "...that you’d be so much cuter if you just bled a little more!" she chirped. "I can help with that!"
Izuku tried to jerk back but her grip was firm, her blade dangerously close to his skin. Before she could press down a blur of motion burst onto the scene.
“Midoriya!” Shoji’s voice rang out before he slamming into Toga, knocking her off the All For One successor.
Shoji positioned himself protectively in front of Izuku. “Stay away from Midoriya!” he growled, flexing his arms as if to shield the freckled boy from the psychotic girl before them.
Regaining her footing a pout formed on Toga's lips as she glared at Shoji.
"So that's how it is." she hissed, voice dripping with mock disappointment. "You want to come between us?" She tilt her head as if sizing him up before sneering, “To be honest you’re not really my type...but I’ll cut you anyway!”
She readied her blade, her stance lowering as she prepared to lunge at them both with an eerie smile spreading across her face.
But just as she was about to spring a smooth teasing voice rang out from the darkness.
“Now Toga...is that any way to treat such cute boys?”
The entire clearing froze.
Emerging from the shadows of the trees, you stepped into view with an effortless sultry grace.
Every eye was on you as you made your entrance; your figure framed by the moonlight filtering through the branches.
Your outfit—striking, bold, impossible to ignore—casted a faint gleam off the accessories around your waist.
A hot pink corset hugged your frame in a way that emphasized every curve. It ended just above your hips—leaving a hint of skin between it and the top of your dangerously short black mini skirt that hugged your hips.
The skirt barely brushed the tops of your thighs, swaying with each confident step. Around your waist a glittering chain belt spelled out "SEXY" in bold gleaming letters.
And as you walked, the belt jingled softly, bringing focus to the thin thong straps peeking out at your hips.
Toga’s reaction was instant.
Her previous focus on the fight forgotten as her cheeks flushed.
She brought her hands up to cover her mouth as if to contain the girlish giggle that escaped her lips.
Dabi couldn’t help but smirk. “What a way to be late to the party,” he grumbled, though there was no real bite behind it.
You let out a soft airy giggle, tilting your head coyly as you stepped closer to the flame user.
"Aww don’t be like that Dabi," you pouted. "I bet you were hoping to cause some real trouble without me, hmm?"
Your voice dripped with feigned sweetness, an almost musical lilt as you dragged a teasing hand along his arm.
The heat he emitted didn’t faze you in the slightest; you merely smiled—unfazed by the danger as if the fire itself was a welcome warmth.
Dabi’s mouth twitched into a smirk, his gaze dark and amused as he leaned into your touch ever so slightly.
"Tch," he scoffed with a lazy grin, his tone dry. "You’ve got a lot of nerve showing up late and acting like you own the place."
You chuckled unbothered, finally letting your palm captured his jaw, your grip gentle but unyielding.
“Maybe I do,” you teased. Lifting his face just enough to make sure he met your gaze, your thumb brushed along his scarred jawline as if daring him to object.
His eyes narrowed but he didn’t pull away, his lazy grin just edging on something deeper.
But before you could take it further the familiar weight of arms tightened around you.
"____!"
Toga was at your side, her excitement palpable as pressed close against you as if starved for your attention.
You felt her lean into you and with a sigh of mock disappointment, you reluctantly pulled away from Dabi, giving him one last playful smirk as you shifted your focus to her.
Toga’s cheeks were flushed, her eyes wide and sparkling as she gazed up at you with adoration. Her grip tightened as if afraid you’d disappear again.
"You’re finally here!" she nearly sang, her voice bubbling with joy. She melted against you, almost purring, as if every inch of her had been waiting for this moment.
With a soft laugh you wrap your arms around her waist as you place a leg between hers. Bringing your face close to hers, you tilt her chin up with a gentle touch.
Her breath hitched and she practically melted under your gaze.
“Toga darling,” you murmured low, “you know I don’t like it when you drink blood from others. You’re mine remember?”
You trace a thumb over her cheek with a playfully possessive smirk.
Toga’s eyes sparkled, a mix of exhilaration and devotion lighting up her face as she giggled, her blush deepening.
"Of course! I just...well I couldn’t help myself," she admitted while leaning closer. Her voice was breathless as if your mere presence had left her spellbound. "But if you don’t like it I won’t do it again!"
From somewhere behind you Twice’s voice broke through the moment—loud and unabashed.
“Hot girl-on-girl action!” he shouted enthusiastically before contradicting himself, “Disgusting! Get a room you underage minors!”
Izuku, still lying on the ground where Toga had left him, stared in stunned confusion; his cheeks flushed as he tried to process the bizarre scene unfolding in front of him.
Even Shoji seemed uncertain as he glanced between you, Dabi, and Toga with a mixture of confusion and discomfort.
And then there was Todoroki: though his face remained stoic, a faint blush tinging his cheeks betrayed his surprise as he quickly averted his eyes, trying—and failing—to appear unbothered.
Before any of them could collect their thoughts a sudden burst of light flared nearby.
The ground shook slightly and merging from the haze Mr. Compress leaped to his feet.
“Ugh!” he groaned, straightening with a melodramatic sigh. His mask glinted in the dim light and his posture radiated irritation as he dusted himself off. “You just had to ruin my exit with your seductress behavior you...you harlot!”
You barely spared him a glance, still entirely focused on Toga who beamed up at you in her own lovestruck world.
Dabi let out a snicker as he turned to Compress. “You got Bakugo?”
Compress adjusted his top hat with a proud tilt and step forward. “Of course!” He reached into his coat pocket.
Then Shoji, taking advantage of the villains’ distraction, gave a low shout. “Midoriya, Todoroki! We’re done here. Let’s go!”
This caught your attention and you finally pulled back from Toga, a single eyebrow raising in slight amusement as the trio began to flee.
The blonde blood drinker didn't even notice the chaos swirling around—clinging to you—still love drunk.
“I'm not sure what your Quirk is, but it had to do with those little marbles right? The ones you stashed in your pocket. ” Shoji boldly brandished the two glowing orbs. “So I'm guessing these are Tokoyami and Bakugo. I managed to take them during the earlier skirmish.” he announced in a defiant tone.
With that, he grab a hold of Izuku, hoisting him up and giving him a gentle push.
The smaller boy stumbled forward but quickly regained his footing as Todoroki to follow suit.
"Ha ha ha! Well color me impressed," Compress taunted, his eyes gleaming with mischief. "Just as I’d expect from someone with so many hands. How splendid."
The UA students barely had a moment to celebrate before a thick purple mist began swirling in from the shadows. Todoroki skids to a halt with gritted teeth. "Not this guy..."
Shoji holds an arm out in front of his two classmates. "He was at the USJ. The warp villain."
“It’s been five minutes since the signal. We must retreat,” Kurogiri’s voice cut through the air.
With a disappointed sigh, Toga reluctantly peeled herself from your side, giving Izuku one last mischievous smile as she blew him a flirtatious kiss.
“Sorry Izuku! But I’ll see you 'kay?” Her voice was sweet and sing-song, completely c to the contrasting the devastation in his wide horrified eyes.
Instead of leaving into the portal, you lingered beside Dabi, your playful demeanors replaced by something darker—more serious.
Dabi’s voice dropped into a low threatening growl as his gaze remained fixed on them with a dangerous glint. “We’re not leavin' without the kid.”
The theatrical villain let out a condescending chuckle.
“Don't worry,” Compress said haughtily, “They were so proud of themselves for rooting through my pockets that I thought I'd let them gloat.”
He lifted a hand to his mouth and tapped his cheek, a wicked gleam shinning in his eyes.
“You really think I’d be so careless?” he taunted, his words calculated and smug. “Allow me to explain a basic tenant of magic. If I'm flaunting something shiny...”
Opening his mouth, two small marbles were revealed resting on his tongue—the real Bakugo and Tokoyami. “...it's because there's something else I don't want you to see”
Shoji's eyes widened in dismay as he shakily looked at the marbles in his hand. “No...”
Immediately the two objects explode; revealing what was really trapped inside the small objects.
Todoroki stiffen in disbelief. "...is that my ice?"
“Ah that’s right!” Compress grinned, indulging in his own theatrics. “During that freezing attack I prepared these dummies and slipped them into my right pocket for a little misdirection.”
“Damn it!” Izuku clenched his fists as desperation flashed in his green eyes. “His quirk...it lets him compress and hold things.”
The Vanguard Action Squad member smirked as rage simmered beneath their shock. “Forgive me but I do so adore a twist ending.”
“You can’t do this!” Izuku shouted, voice cracking with both anger and helplessness. He took a step forward, his body trembling with the need to act.
Kurogiri's purple mist began to envelope the three of you. And for a brief moment the young heroes could only watch stunned as your forms began to dissolve into the darkness.
“One last bow,” Mr. Compress declared grandly, leaning forward with a mocking smile as his gaze held steady on the trio of dismayed students. “And then...the curtain fal—”
A sudden blinding beam of light sliced through the misty gloom, steicking Compress squarely in the face.
It sent him staggering backward as his mask shattered to pieces like broken glass in the moonlight.
The unexpected attack jolted everyone out of their momentary stupor.
Compress gasped, clutching his face as his precious marbles slipped from his grip, spinning wildly through the air.
You snapped your head toward the source of the laser and caught a brief glimpse of blond hair peeking through the dense undergrowth.
The corner of your mouth quirked in slight annoyance—these kids had more fight in them than you’d expected.
Shoji surged forward, managing to grab one of the marbles just before it could roll out of reach.
Not far from him Todoroki stretched his hand toward the second one. But just as his fingertips brushed it, delicate fuchsia pink coffin nails swept in and plucked it mid-fall.
Todoroki froze. His gaze was wide with shock as his mismatched gaze locked on yours.
Your fuchsia-colored eyes gleamed under the moonlight, the broken heart-shaped pupils shimmering with a taunting glint.
You held the marble up between your fingers letting it catch the faint beams of light.  Your smile widened as you took in his stunned expression.
“Aww,” you coo in a soft mocking lilt. “Better luck next time cutie~”
Before he could process your words, the familiar warmth of semi-burnt hands settled around your waist, pulling you back against a broad chest.
Dabi leaned in close, his smirk as sharp as the glint in his turquoise eyes as he rested his head next to yours.
“Well,” he drawled, enjoying every hint of distress on ̶h̶̶i̶̶s̶ ̶b̶̶r̶̶o̶̶t̶̶h̶̶e̶̶r̶'̶s̶ the young hero’s face. “Isn’t that a tragedy?”
Compress—still recovering from the unexpected laser shot—muttered a few choice words under his breath.
He finally managed to gather his composure, though irritation was still evident in the way he snapped his fingers.
In a flash the marbles in your hands expanded revealing Bakugo and Tokoyami in their true forms.
Tokoyami stumbled beside Shoji as he regained his balance while Bakugo thrashing as soon as he materialized.
His face was twisted in a fierce scowl, anger blazing in his eyes as he struggled against Dabi’s firm grip around his neck.
“Get your filthy hands off me!” Bakugo barked as he tried to wriggle free.
Ignoring his fury you slip an arm around his waist—pressing yourself closer as you looked up at him in a twisted kind of admiration.
“You’re such a fighter...” your tone was sickly sweet, gaze trailing over his scowling face as he glared back at you. “...me likey~”
“Checkmate,” Dabi tightened his grip on Bakugo’s neck with an sneern.
“Kaachan no!” Izuku’s desperate scream echoed through the clearing. His feet pounded against the forest floor as he struggled to close the distance.
He kept his gaze locked on Bakugo; horror and helplessness painted across his face as the mist from Kurogiri’s portal began to swirl around them once more.
Bakugo’s eyes shot toward Izuku. “Stay back...Deku...”  His voice echoed faintly as he struggled to keep view of the greenette, his sight dimming as the darkness closed in.
“KACCHAN! NOOOOO!” Izuku’s voice broke. Pain was etched across his face as he reached out futilely.
His fingers curled into the final dark wisps as it swallowed Bakugo and the League whole leaving the clearing in shadow and silence.
The forest stood still as the trio of Class 1-A stood frozen in despair, the reality of their failure sinking in.

O great Owl and thou noble fic-finding rats I come because I have failed to find that which I need.
There is a work, apart of your Anyone universe, where Izuku is writing a Quirk Analysis Paper and he wakes AfO up so he can see a mutation quirk which enlarges AfO's arm. I have combed through all of Anyone and then through your side works that take place in this universe. But I found nothing.
The only thing I can think is that it was a tumblr post or a fanfic one of your blog mates wrote for you. But alas, I am still here.
In exchange I swear that if my firstborn ever starts stealing quirks I will buy all the therapists, and if that fails I will leave him to your fic-finders with no rivers in sight. And they may nibble on him for all of forever.
With reverence and sincerity, -me
I have some bad news and good news for you. The bad news is that his is something I wrote and posted on Tumblr, and you will never find it again even if you scroll through the entire Anyone tag. The good news is that you must be especially lucky as I found it by pure luck in a file I had forgotten.
----------
Izuku, sitting on his bed, books and notebooks opened on all of its surface, clicked his pen. Once, twice, thrice, the sound echoing in the silent apartment without doing anything to bring the answer the teenager desperately needed.
Usually, deadlines weren’t a problem for him. For some obscure reasons, the teachers in his high school were trusting him no matter what he did and forging his mom’s signatures to excuse his many absences had become the routine. However, he needed to finish this paper for tomorrow morning, so Hebisuga could read it and save her grade in Meta Analysis. That way, she would stop worrying so much about this subject, focus back on her Japanese, and write once again her ridiculously good flash cards that she always accepted to share with Yuuto and him.
But right now… Izuku’s brain just wasn’t cooperating.
He got up, his back protesting as he stopped hunching over for the first time in a couple of hours, and he left his bedroom. His notebook in hand, he walked past the bathroom and knocked at the door of the master bedroom, currently invaded by the bane of his existence while his blissfully ignorant mother was away.
The door opened in the second, All for One appearing in front of him, his hair messy and his face showing the trace of the pillow but no sign of sleepiness. The villain was one of those persons who immediately passed from sleep to alertness while Izuku needed three cups of coffee to be semi-conscious.
“What is it?” the villain asked. “Did you-“
“Show me your mutation quirks, please. Preferably the one that can offer some kind of protection.”
“What makes you think that-“
Izuku clicked his pen once again and just stared at the quirk-stealing-fiend.
All for One finally obliged, making his arm grow in size, muscles growing until it had gruesomely swollen up, and he even added some spear-like bones. Bewildered, he answered every questions Izuku had about the drawbacks, the weight, how much he could still move his arm, and so on.
Because if analyzing quirks was his passion and could become a job, words in a book didn’t mean anything to Izuku. He needed to ask questions, to make theories, to see them in action.
Once he was done and had all the elements he needed, he thanked All for One and walked back to his room without offering any explanation. But of course, his roommate didn’t need one.
“Did you just use me to finish your homework? At three AM?”

The whole of 1-A stared at their desks, silence ringing throughout the classroom. Some were simply stunned, while others, like Bakugou, were seething.
Midoriya Izuku had died. It had been sudden, and it had been violent. One second, Midoriya was helpiMidoriya interrupted the paragraph by slamming the door open.
"Sorry I'm late!" Midoriya apologized cheerfully. "The trains were stopped 'cause someone tied some lady to the tracks-"
"DEKU!" Uraraka screamed, launching herself from her desk and tackle-hugging the green-haired boy.
"What the FUCK?!" Bakugou screeched.
"You're alive?!" Kirishima shouted.
"Perhaps this is merely a spirit or possibly a ghost-" Tokoyami speculated.
"Midobaaaaaabe!" Kaminari cried as he rushed to hug Midoriya, narrowly avoiding Todoroki's ice spear.
"Guys?" Midoriya asked. "I-"
"Hang on." Shouji interrupted. He thumbed a faint bump on the back of Midoriya's neck. "What is this?"
"They chipped you like a dog?" Kouda wondered.
"Deserved." Bakugou grumbled.
"Oh, that's my personality and memory chip, or PMC." Midoriya explained, as if this wasn't something completely insane.
The class stared at him.
"Memory chip?" Aoyama asked.
"Yeah!" Midoriya explained. "I'm a clone of the real Midoriya with all of his memories and personality! So I'm essentially the same person!"
"HUH?!"
"Did Hatsume-kun do this?!" Iida demanded.
"If she had perfected cloning technology, don't you think you have bigger problems than a clone of Midoriya-chan, kero?" Asui pointed out.
Iida sat down, thoroughly haunted.
"Wait, maybe Twice?" Kirishima wondered.
"Bubaigawara was extrajudicially murdered by Hawks." Uraraka disagreed. "And I haven't broken Himiko out of jail yet, so it can't be her."
"I am going to ignore that you said that." Aizawa grumbled from the desk, where he had pulled out a bottle of rum and begun drinking straight from the bottle.
"Guys." Midoriya said, catching their attention. "It's my cloning machine. I built it back when I was thirteen."
"THIRTEEN?!"
"Yeah." Midoriya shrugged. "See, I got really into trying to figure out Quirks that rapidly generate or transmute biomass, and I hit a wall in my research that I just couldn't satisfy by hacking into medical databases like usual-"
"HUH?!" Everyone screamed. Midoriya ignored them to continue rambling.
"So I figured that if people can do all kinds of crazy stuff with their cells naturally, then why can't I figure out a way to mimic them? Anyways, it turns out it's not so bad once you get into the swing of things." Midoriya explained.
"The swing of-" Ojiro stuttered. "Midoriya, that's a crime. You're a criminal."
"So's Kacchan, but you don't see me complaining." Midoriya pointed out.
"I SAID I WAS SORRY!"
"Wait, this all sounds expensive." Uraraka pointed out. "How did you get the materials?"
"Sold scrap I found while picking up litter." Midoriya casually explained. "The rest came from me using Kacchan's gaming PC to mine bitcoin."
"Is THAT why my shit started running like ass?!" Bakugou realized angrily.
"Don't take it personally." Midoriya assured Bakugou. "I also used all the computers at Aldera."
"I don't care about that." Bakugou shook his head. "What I care about is you COST ME A TOURNAMENT WIN."
"Kacchan, are you still playing Apex-"
"SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT VALORANT-"

Detective Izuku Stuff
Previous Post!
So I mentioned Kyoka, Denki, and Mei in my last post... And I decided to say: "Why not?" And elaborated upon their roles and stuff for my entertainment.
Kyoka Jiro (She/They)
After her parents passed away due to a villain attack gone wrong, the hero that landed the blow on the complex got away with it scot free, leading Kyoka to stir in anger. They were about to enter a villainous path before being caught by Rody and brought to Izuku, with her skills of espionage, they managed to catch the hero responsible in some shady shit and convict him. Kyoka then became part of Izuku's duo with all the determination of a wolf in front of prey. She joined the Cozy Agency in all but paperwork, and helps the duo by infiltrating hero spaces to gain information for them. After some time, they decided to take the Yuuei entrance exam with Denki and Mei. She works with Izuku well due to a friendship cultivated by a love of music, and as Izuku is, he tells them about all the different uses and possible makings of their quirk: information gathering wise, detective work wise, and even offensively. Her hero costume was designed by Izuku and support items by Mei. Kyoka rekindles her love for music with the little group they cultivated, and they occasionally play gigs for local Musutafu bars. Currently, they live in an apartment next to Izuku and Rody's and is working to become a hero while juggling her music career and side quests with the Cozy Agency.
Denki Kaminari (All/Any), emphasis on He
Denki was bullied extensively at his school due to the kickback of his quirk and perceived intelligence. He never told his pro-hero mother and was never close enough with his father to warrant telling him anything, really. Eventually, when a hero came by to give the entire student body a speech, Denki was publicity humiliated by said hero for his inabilities and quirk inhibitions before running away from his household. Rody would then find Denki squatting in a dilapidated building just south of their apartment complex and brought him to Izuku, who managed to get Denki to spill the beans before completely annihilating this hero's career. The other, seeing Izuku and Rody and his heroes of sort, decided to visit the Agency consistently to hang out and get to know them. Eventually, Denki started getting lessons on hacking thanks to Izuku and stared cultivating his own skills regarding it. Denki would soon surpass Izuku in his ability to hack and became part of the Cozy Agency unofficially in order to help take down corruption. It would be later when Denki and Kyoka (Kyoka joined first) decided to attend Yuuei together in order to become heroes. He occasionally takes guitar lessons from Kyoka, but is still at beginner level, though he has a killer singing voice and joins Kyoka in her gigs after running away from home and moving in with them. KamiJiro is not canon, but I adore their friendship so it will live on
Mei Hatsume (She/Her)
Mei and Izuku met while he was investigating an odd case with Rody, Hatsume Industries was questioned and while they were getting the information Izuku and Rody needed, Mei decided to ambush them in her usual manner. Izuku and Mei became fast friends and the girl was absolutely fascinated with their work. Of course, they couldn't tell her anything confidential, but Rody told her where they worked and to come if she needed anything. And oh boy did she visit them often. Of course, most of it were friendly visits, however... One day, Mei came in with grievances against a hero that had physically assaulted the workers in Hatsume Industries, and Izuku handled it flawlessly. It was then Mei offered her services to the Cozy Agency, and thus became the first actually official and legal third member of the little detectives' agency. She would then help create support items, including Izuku's subtle communication lenses and pen that can turn into a spear. And Rody's customised revolvers and subtle communication tie clip. She also helped to create both Kyoka and Denki's support items in the near future after they were accepted into Yuuei. I mean, she bullied her way into it but still.
Tumblr media
So yeah! That's them <3

Forgotten Trials Archive
Summary:
In their final year at U.A. High School, heroes God Explosion Murder Dynamight and Deku are paired together under the watchful eye of Hawks as they navigate the challenges of being top students and burgeoning heroes. Despite their recent tensions following Katsuki’s heartfelt apology, the duo remains an unstoppable force, instinctively anticipating each other’s moves in battle. However, during a routine mission, they fall into a carefully laid trap by the underground villain Obsidian, who aims to erase their memories and exploit their bond for his twisted experiments.
With their identities stripped away, Katsuki and Izuku find themselves in an amnesic state, drawn to each other by an inexplicable connection. As they grapple with their new reality, the remaining heroes—Hawks, Aizawa, and All Might—frantically search for their missing students, determined to uncover the truth behind their disappearance and rescue them before it’s too late.
A. K. A. It doesn't matter the state they're in there isn't a line bkdk wouldn't cross for each other.
⊹˚₊‧───────────────‧₊˚⊹⊹˚₊‧──────────
The city was a battlefield of shattered buildings, overturned cars, and thick smoke. Rain cascaded down in a relentless downpour, drenching everything in sight. What was supposed to be a routine mission had exploded into an all-out war against a notorious villain gang wreaking havoc on the streets.
Above the chaos, Katsuki Bakugou, now going by God Explosion Murder Dynamight, hurtled through the sky, his palms crackling with explosive power. He gritted his teeth as he locked onto the mass of villains below, his red eyes blazing with fury.
Dynamight roared, unleashing a blast that shook the street, sending a cluster of minor villains flying:
- Come on! Is this all you’ve got?!
The explosion lit up the stormy night like a bolt of lightning.
Dynamight shot forward again, using his explosions to stay airborne, when a voice crackled through his commlink:
- Kac- Dynamight, don’t go too far ahead! We need to work together on this!
It was Izuku Midoriya—Deku, his long-time rival, his partner, and the one person that always seemed to drive him crazy.
Deku moved with precision below, green lightning flickering around his body as he zipped between buildings, staying agile despite the crumbling surroundings. Now able to control 55% of One For All, Deku’s mastery of his quirk had come a long way, though the tension between him and Bakugou was still undeniable. Even after Bakugou had apologized for their past, their relationship was laced with sharp edges and unresolved competition.
Dynamight snapped, ignoring Deku’s warning:
- Shut up, Deku! I know what I’m doing!
He angled his body and shot downward with explosive force, intending to take down as many villains as possible on his own.
Deku's voice was sharper now, more assertive, but Bakugou had already launched himself forward, fists sparking:
- Dynamight, stop!
He unleashed a Stun Grenade, a flash of light brighter than the storm’s lightning, momentarily blinding the villains. Bakugou grinned fiercely as he charged ahead, tossing out rapid-fire explosions left and right:
- This is too easy!
Meanwhile, Deku watched from the ground, his frustration mounting, he muttered under his breath:
- We’re still third-year students—we’re not supposed to go all out like this.
But there wasn’t time to argue. The leader of the villains, a towering figure cloaked in black with eyes glowing red, stepped forward.
This wasn’t just any villain. It was Gora, infamous for his earth-shattering quirk, a criminal with a reputation for demolishing entire districts when cornered. His presence alone was enough to send waves of panic through the streets.
Gora raised his hand and slammed it into the ground, sending shockwaves through the earth. The streets began to crack and split, and massive pillars of stone erupted from the ground, shooting toward the sky like jagged spears.
Deku reacted instantly, dodging the rising spikes,  he shouted, trying to get Dynamight’s attention:
- Gora’s pulling power from the earth—he’s way stronger than the others!
But Bakugou was already mid-charge, too focused on the fight to listen.
Bakugou let out a feral growl, weaving between the rising pillars:
- Like hell I’m backing down!
He aimed both palms forward, sparks popping fiercely as he unleashed a full-force AP Shot at the villain leader.
The blast hurtled toward Gora, but before it could connect, the villain raised a massive stone wall, blocking the attack. The explosion hit with a deafening boom, but the wall barely cracked.
Gora smirked:
- Is that all you've got, little hero?
Dynamight screamed, his fury spiking:
- WHAT DID YOU SAY?! I’ll blow you to pieces!
Without thinking, he propelled himself forward, aiming for another direct hit.
Deku called out, but it was too late:
- Dynamight, wait—!
One of Gora’s sub-villains, a speedster, darted out of the shadows, aiming a clawed hand directly at Bakugou’s exposed back.
Deku’s instincts took over. His body surged forward in a flash of green lightning. With a burst of Full Cowling, he launched himself at the speedster, intercepting the attack just in time. Deku’s kick connected with the villain’s gut, sending them flying into a nearby building with enough force to leave a crater.
Deku landed beside Bakugou, breathing hard, his body tense:
- You’ve gotta stop charging in recklessly, Dynamight. Gora’s not like the others—we need to think this through!
Bakugou whirled on him, his fists clenched:
- Don’t act like you’re the boss of me, Deku! I didn’t ask for your help!
Deku’s eyes narrowed:
- I’m not trying to be your boss! We’re supposed to be partners! This isn’t just about you proving something!
The tension between them was palpable, even amidst the chaos. They were no longer children, but the rivalry between them still burned hot, and sometimes it got in the way of their teamwork.
⊹˚₊‧───────────────‧₊˚⊹⊹˚₊‧──────────
By the third year at U.A. High, Tokoyami Fumikage had become a key student under the tutelage of Hawks, the Number 2 Pro Hero. As the first of Class 1-A to apprentice under Hawks, Tokoyami had proven himself to be a valuable asset with his growing mastery over Dark Shadow. Hawks recognized his potential early on, often partnering the now eighteen-year-old Tokoyami with him on high-stakes missions. Their dynamic had grown into something of a mentor-student bond, with Hawks teaching Tokoyami not just about speed and precision but the nuances of intelligence gathering and covert operations.
However, when it came to intense, head-on fights, Hawks understood that no one could keep up with the raw power and relentless drive of Katsuki Bakugou—now going by his hero name, Dynamight—except for one person: Izuku Midoriya. The intense rivalry and deep-seated history between Bakugou and Midoriya made them the perfect duo. Hawks knew their dynamic wasn’t always smooth, but their unmatched strength, strategy, and drive pushed them to bring out the best (and worst) in each other.
That's why Hawks allowed Bakugou and Midoriya to work together. No one else could match Dynamight’s explosive speed and power like Deku could. Despite their still rough-edged relationship, they were the only ones who could truly keep up with each other. And for the missions Hawks had in mind, they were the perfect storm.
⊹˚₊‧───────────────‧₊˚⊹⊹˚₊‧──────────
Before either could continue their argument, the commlink crackled to life, and Hawks’ voice broke through. His usual easygoing tone was laced with seriousness.
- Yo, you two! Calm down! You’re both getting too heated out there. Don’t forget, you’re still students, not pros yet. Don’t go pushing yourselves to the limit just to one-up each other, especially against Gora.
Hawks warned, his voice smooth but firm:
- That guy’s not just some random thug—he’s famous for wiping out entire neighborhoods when cornered. Stick to the plan. Don’t make me swoop in to save your butts.
Deku’s face tightened, recognizing the gravity of Hawks’ warning. Gora was a major threat, and even with all their training, they weren’t full-fledged pro heroes yet. Deku muttered:
- Right. We need to stay smart about this.
But Bakugou wasn’t backing down:
- Calm down? Screw that! I’ll blow this fucking asshole to bits and end it right now!
With a defiant growl, Bakugou shot upward into the sky, rain streaking past him as he prepared to launch another attack. From above, he could see the entire battlefield. He clenched his fists, spinning mid-air as his body began to twist in a tight corkscrew.
Deku called out, his voice carrying over the comms:
- Dynamight! You can’t just—
Bakugou snapped:
- Watch me!
He charged up, preparing to unleash a devastating Howitzer Impact. Sparks crackled around him as his entire body spun, gathering explosive energy.
But before Bakugou could finish the attack, Gora roared, slamming both fists into the ground. The earth quaked violently, and a series of massive stone spikes shot up toward Bakugou, threatening to impale him mid-air.
Deku’s eyes widened:
- Kacchan!
Without hesitation, he activated Blackwhip, the tendrils of dark energy shooting from his arms as he launched himself into the sky. In a split second, he wrapped Blackwhip around Bakugou’s waist, yanking him to the side just as the stone spikes grazed past.
They both crashed to the ground, rolling to a stop as the rain poured down around them.
Bakugou shoved Deku off:
- I had it under control, you damn nerd!
Deku wiped the rain from his face, his patience wearing thin:
- You were about to get yourself killed!
Before the argument could escalate further, Gora loomed over them, his massive figure towering amidst the storm. His red eyes glowed ominously, he growled:
- You two are more trouble than I thought. But you’re not strong enough to beat me.
Deku’s eyes hardened, his determination unwavering:
-We’re not done yet.
⊹˚₊‧───────────────‧₊˚⊹⊹˚₊‧──────────
Even though Katsuki Bakugou had apologized to Izuku Midoriya, a lingering tension remained between them. Bakugou couldn't shake the uneasy feeling he got whenever Izuku was around. Every time Deku smiled, offered him advice, or even just stood beside him, Bakugou’s heart would race, a strange sensation twisting in his chest. It wasn’t fear or anger like it used to be—it was something far more confusing. Despite the apology, Izuku’s presence always seemed to unsettle him, and Katsuki hated it. He couldn’t understand why he felt so out of control whenever their eyes met, like he was fighting a battle inside himself he didn’t know how to win. And that fucking angered him.
On the other side, Izuku was growing increasingly frustrated. After everything they’d been through—after Katsuki’s apology—he thought things might finally get better between them. But lately, it felt harder than ever to communicate with Bakugou. Every attempt to talk seemed to end in awkward silences or cold, distant responses. Izuku couldn't understand why Katsuki kept pulling away, especially when his own feelings for him were growing stronger. He had tried to keep it hidden, but his secret love for Bakugou made every interaction fraught with tension. It hurt, knowing that once again the person he cared about most seemed so far out of reach, even when they were standing side by side.
⊹˚₊‧───────────────‧₊˚⊹⊹˚₊‧──────────
He and Bakugou exchanged a brief, heated glance—an unspoken understanding between rivals. They might be at each other’s throats, but they knew how to fight together when it mattered.
Bakugou muttered, pushing himself up:
- Fine. Let’s finish this.
With a nod, Deku surged forward, the green lightning of One For All intensifying around him as he charged in low. At the same time, Bakugou shot into the air, angling for a high attack.
Deku swung Blackwhip, using it to latch onto one of the stone pillars, swinging himself directly at Gora. He clenched his fist, gathering all of his power into one point:
- ST. LOUIS SMASH!
Deku’s punch connected with Gora’s chest, the impact causing a shockwave that rippled through the battlefield. The villain stumbled backward, but before he could recover, Bakugou descended from above.
Bakugou screamed, unleashing his spinning explosion with full force:
- HOWITZER IMPACT!!!
The blast engulfed Gora, a whirlwind of fire and destruction that tore through the street.
The combined attack sent Gora crashing into the ground, unconscious. The earth stopped rumbling, the stone spikes crumbling into dust as the rain hissed on the smoldering battlefield.
Panting, Bakugou landed beside Deku, his hands still smoking from the explosion:
- Tch. About time.
Deku wiped sweat from his brow, giving Bakugou a brief, tired grin:
- Yeah... Nice work, Dynamight.
⊹˚₊‧───────────────‧₊˚⊹⊹˚₊‧──────────
As Katsuki Bakugou and Izuku Midoriya continued their development as heroes, it became increasingly clear that their partnership was something special. Despite the lingering tension that had crept into their relationship, they had evolved into an unstoppable duo, recognized for their effectiveness on the battlefield. Even the seasoned pros often paired them together for missions, knowing that their unique blend of power and strategy complemented one another perfectly.
In the heat of battle, it was almost as if they were connected by an unspoken bond. They moved in perfect synchronicity, dodging attacks and launching counteroffensives with seamless precision. There was an instinctual understanding between them, a silent communication that allowed them to anticipate each other's moves without needing to exchange a word. Izuku would find himself instinctively knowing when Bakugou would go for a massive explosion, and Katsuki could sense when Deku was preparing for a swift, agile maneuver.
Their synergy was palpable; it drew the attention of their classmates and mentors alike. They were a force to be reckoned with, capable of executing complex strategies in the heat of battle while still managing to cover each other’s weaknesses. Even with the unresolved tension simmering beneath the surface, their combined strengths and deep understanding of one another made them the most effective duo of their generation, proving that sometimes, the strongest partnerships are forged in the fires of rivalry and mutual respect.
⊹˚₊‧───────────────‧₊˚⊹⊹˚₊‧──────────
The rain continued to pour down, drenching the battlefield as the dust settled around the collapsed figure of Gora. The massive villain lay motionless in the wreckage of the street, surrounded by fallen debris and stone spikes. Deku and Dynamight stood side by side, panting heavily, the adrenaline from the fight still coursing through their veins.
Deku wiped the sweat and rain from his brow, catching his breath:
- Looks like… it’s finally over.
He turned to glance at Bakugou, who stood with his hands on his hips, surveying the damage they had caused.
Bakugou’s voice was sharp, though there was a hint of exhaustion beneath it. He was still buzzing from the intensity of the fight:
- Tch. Damn right it’s over. We took down Gora. That’s what matters.
But something gnawed at the back of Deku’s mind. The fight had been hard, but it didn’t feel complete. It felt too easy, despite Gora’s strength. The villains hadn’t put up the kind of resistance he’d expected from an underground operation known for precision and brutality.
Before Deku could voice his concerns, Hawks voice crackled through the commlink, first Hawks teased lightly, but his tone quickly grew more serious:
- Good work, you two. You managed to take down Gora without leveling half the city—kinda surprised, actually. Let’s wrap it up and regroup. You’ve both earned some rest.
Deku opened his mouth to respond, but something caught his attention. His eyes narrowed as he scanned the area. Despite the devastation, it was eerily quiet. Too quiet. His instincts kicked in—something felt off.
Deku muttered under his breath, his muscles tensing:
- Kacchan…
Bakugou turned, already sensing the shift in the air:
- What’s your problem now, nerd? We won.
Deku asked, scanning the surroundings again:
- Doesn’t this… feel strange to you? Where are the backup heroes? We’ve been fighting here for too long, but no one's shown up.
Bakugou scowled, glancing around:
- What, you think they’re fucking late to the party just because you—
Before he could finish, the commlink crackled again, but this time there was static. Hawks’ voice came through, but it was distorted, cutting in and out:
- something’s… wrong… both of you—get out—
Deku’s eyes widened, a cold chill running down his spine. He tried to speak into the commlink:
- Hawks? Hawks, can you hear me? Tokoyami? Anyone?
But there was no response. Only more static. The line was dead.
Bakugou clenched his fists, his sharp eyes darting around:
- What the hell’s going on?!
He lifted a hand to trigger an explosion, his body itching for a fight.
Then, Deku felt it—his vision blurred for a split second, the world around him spinning. A wave of dizziness hit him like a sledgehammer, and his body swayed on unsteady legs. His chest tightened, his breaths becoming shallow. His mind scrambled for an explanation, but before he could focus, a sharp, metallic scent filled the air.
Deku muttered, his voice weak:
- Kacchan… something’s wrong…
His fingers clenched at the air, reaching for something to hold onto.
Bakugou’s eyes widened as he noticed it too—the faint, nearly invisible mist creeping through the street. His breaths became ragged, his heart racing unnaturally fast:
- Damn it…
The gas. It had been seeping into the air, undetected amidst the chaos of the fight. Neither of them had noticed it until it was too late. And now it was everywhere, thick and pervasive, choking them with every breath.
Deku gasped, his body feeling heavier by the second:
- No… this can’t be…
He tried to move, tried to focus on using One For All, but his limbs wouldn’t respond.
Bakugou staggered backward, his vision swimming. He growled, trying to ignite his palms, but the explosions sputtered out, weak and unfocused:
- You’ve gotta be kidding me! What kind of son of a bitch coward uses—
His legs gave out beneath him, and he dropped to one knee, his breath labored. Deku fell to the ground beside him, struggling to stay conscious, his vision darkening.
Deku’s voice trailed off as the weight of the gas pressed down on him:
- I… can’t… Kacchan, we need to… warn…
Bakugou’s body trembled as he tried to stand, but his muscles refused to cooperate, he growled into the commlink:
- Hawks… Hawks!
But the signal was completely gone. No one could hear them. No one was coming to help.
A figure stepped out from the shadows, his silhouette barely visible through the rain and fog. He walked with calm, deliberate steps, completely unaffected by the gas. His presence sent a chill through the air—an underground villain, someone who operated beneath even the most notorious criminal organizations. A man who thrived in secrecy, the villain said, his voice smooth, almost amused:
- Looks like you fell right into the trap. Heroes like you—always so eager to jump into the fray, never noticing when they’re being led like lambs to the slaughter.
Deku’s eyes fluttered as he struggled to focus:
- W-Who… are you…?
The villain crouched down in front of them, his face obscured by a mask:
- It doesn’t matter who I am, kid. What matters is that you’re both coming with me.
Bakugou, fighting with everything he had left, tried to force himself up, he snarled, but his voice was weak, the strength draining from his body as the gas overwhelmed him:
- You… think you can just… take us?!
The villain chuckled softly:
- Oh, I know I can. That gas was designed specifically for powerhouses like you. No quirk. No strength. Nothing you can do to resist.
Deku’s heart pounded in his chest, but his body refused to move. He could feel himself slipping further into unconsciousness, the world around him growing darker:
- Kacchan… we… can’t…
Bakugou’s vision blurred as he collapsed to the ground beside Deku, his face twisted in anger and helplessness. His voice was barely a whisper now, his body limp:
- Damn… it…
As the two U.A. top students finally succumbed to the gas, the villain stood over them, looking down at his prize:
- No tracking devices… no way for your precious pro heroes to find you. You’re mine now.
He gestured to a group of shadowy figures that appeared from the mist, and they quickly began securing the unconscious bodies of Dynamight and Deku.
The rain continued to pour as they carried the two young heroes away, deeper into the underground, where no cameras, no heroes, and no one would know where they had disappeared to.
And just like that, Deku and Dynamight, two of U.A.’s most promising future heroes, were captured.
⊹˚₊‧───────────────‧₊˚⊹⊹˚₊‧──────────
The last thing Deku remembered before the world went dark was the villain’s cold, mocking tone as he and Dynamight were dragged into the shadows. The once-bustling battlefield had gone eerily silent, the rain masking their abduction. Now, waking up in the dimly lit, sterile room, Deku felt a growing sense of dread. His body was heavy, his mind sluggish, the last effects of the gas still clinging to his senses.
He blinked hard, trying to focus. The first thing he noticed was that he was restrained—his wrists and ankles bound tightly to a cold metal chair. He struggled, but his limbs felt useless, weighed down by the remnants of the drug still in his system. The second thing he noticed was that the room was small, sealed—walls thick and featureless, with only a single door. It was like a cage.
Deku’s voice was hoarse, barely above a whisper:
- Kacchan?
Across the room, Bakugou—now Dynamight—was in a similar position, his arms and legs shackled to a chair. He was conscious but glaring at the restraints with pure venom in his eyes. His explosive nature hadn’t faded, even in captivity.
Bakugou gritted his teeth, his crimson eyes blazing as he yanked at the restraints with sheer force:
- Damn it… Those bastards... how could we—
The metal groaned under the strain, but it held fast. But soon he cut himself off with an angry growl, furious that they’d been caught off-guard so easily.
Deku’s mind raced. He tried to recall everything that had happened—the fight with Gora, the strange quiet after their victory, the gas that had overwhelmed them… and then, nothing. They’d been captured. Hawks had warned them something was wrong, but they hadn’t realized it was a setup until it was too late. Now, they were somewhere deep underground, cut off from the outside world.
Deku muttered, scanning the room for any clues:
- Where are we?
There were no windows, no obvious exits. The walls were made of thick, reinforced concrete, and the only light came from a flickering bulb overhead. It felt like a prison—but not just any prison. This was a place designed to keep people like them locked up.
He kept pulling at the restraints, his palms sparking weakly with suppressed explosions. But it was clear even he knew they were in serious trouble. Bakugou snapped, his voice tight with frustration:
 - Like hell if I know. The second I get my hands on those motherfuckers, I’ll—
Before Bakugou could finish his threat, a door to the side of the room creaked open, and the villain who had captured them stepped inside, flanked by two guards dressed in black. The villain still wore the same mask, his face obscured, but his posture oozed confidence.
The villain said, his voice smooth and unbothered:
- Good, you’re both awake.
He stopped just a few feet in front of them, arms folded:
- I was wondering how long the two of you would take to shake off the effects of the gas.
Bakugou snarled, jerking against the restraints:
- I fucking swear, if you don’t let me out of these things right now—
The villain chuckled, waving a hand dismissively:
- You’re going to what? Explode me? Burn me to ash? You really think you’re in any position to make demands, Dynamight? You’re trapped. No one knows where you are, no one’s coming for you. And your quirks won’t help you here.
Deku’s heart sank. No one knew where they were. The villain was right. Their comms had been cut off during the attack, and they didn’t have any tracking devices. This place… wherever it was, it was built to keep them hidden. He needed to think, to figure out how they could escape before things got worse.
Deku asked, his voice steady despite the fear gnawing at him:
- Why are you doing this? What do you want from us?
The villain’s masked face turned toward Deku:
- What do I want?
He tilted his head as if pondering the question:
- Let’s just say, I’m part of a much larger operation. One that’s been operating in the shadows long before you two ever thought of becoming heroes. And you… you two are quite the prize. It’s simple, really. You two are some of the most promising young heroes in Japan. Soon, you’ll be at the top of the hero ranks, just like All Might, just like Endeavor. That makes you a threat to us. You two are a problem. Not just because of your quirks, but because of who you are. Future symbols of hope, the shining stars of U.A. High—people look up to you. Admire you.
Bakugou’s eyes narrowed, his muscles tensing:
- What the hell are you talking about, you freak? You think you can just take us out? That’s your big plan? You’re an idiot if you think anyone’s gonna let you get away with this.
The villain chuckled softly:
- Oh, no. I’m not just going to take you out. I’m going to erase you.
Deku’s blood ran cold:
- Erase us?
The villain stepped closer, his presence looming over them, he said, gesturing to the walls around them:
- This room, is equipped with quirk suppression technology. Your powers are useless here. No explosions, no whatever Deku has got going on. But that’s not all.
He took a step back and reached into his coat, pulling out a small vial filled with a strange, luminescent gas:
- This… is something very special.
Deku’s eyes widened as he stared at the vial:
- What is that?
The villain’s masked face tilted as if he were smiling beneath it:
- This gas is my own creation. Once it enters your system, it will attack the neural pathways responsible for memory. In short, you’ll forget who you are. Your names, your identities, your powers—everything that makes you Deku and Dynamight. It’ll all be gone. Even Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugou will be gone.
Bakugou’s eyes widened in shock, and for a brief moment, he went silent. Then, his face twisted into a snarl:
- You… psycho! You think I’m just gonna let you wipe my mind?!
He pulled violently at his restraints, sparks flickering weakly from his palms, but the quirk suppression field neutralized them before they could ignite.
Deku’s mind reeled:
- Why would you do that? Why would you erase us?
The villain paced slowly, holding the vial up to the dim light:
- Because erasing you is far more effective than killing you. Dead heroes become martyrs. Symbols of hope. But forgotten heroes? You become nothing. No legacy, no future. You’ll forget who you are, what you stand for, your quirks… everything. You’ll wake up as blank slates—no memories, no goals, no connections. Just… gone. Bedsides I have plans for amnesic versions of you. I’ve been meaning to study human psychology and some of my creations for a while now…
Deku’s heart pounded in his chest. This villain didn’t just want to kill them—he wanted to erase their very existence. The thought of losing everything, of forgetting who he was, sent a wave of terror crashing over him. He couldn’t let this happen. He couldn’t let this villain destroy everything they’d worked for.
Deku shouted, his voice stronger now, fueled by desperation:
- You… won’t get away with this! People will come looking for us. Hawks, the other heroes—
Bakugou snarled, his voice trembling with rage:
- You're out of your damn mind! Do you seriously think a little amnesia gas is gonna stop me? I'll find a way to remember—When I get out of here, I'll blast your face off, you coward!
The villain laughed softly, as if amused by Bakugou’s hostility:
- You don’t need to worry about that right now. What you need to focus on is surviving.
Deku swallowed hard, trying to keep his mind from spiraling into panic. He had to think—how could they get out of this? He glanced at Bakugou, who was still fuming, practically vibrating with rage. They couldn’t afford to rush into anything. Not yet. They needed to wait for the right moment.
Deku’s mind raced, but with the suppression field in place, neither of them could use their quirks. He glanced at Bakugou, seeing the raw frustration on his face. They had fought countless battles together, but this one felt different. The villain didn’t want to destroy their bodies—he wanted to destroy their very sense of self.
The villain stepped closer, the canister in hand:
Don’t get any ideas about trying to escape. This facility was built to contain much more dangerous individuals than you two. But I guess it’s pointless saying that by the time the gas does its work, you won’t even remember this conversation. This facility was built to contain much more dangerous individuals than you two. Now, it’s time to say goodbye to everything you’ve ever known.
Deku’s eyes widened:
- No… We can’t let this happen, Kacchan!
He struggled harder, but the restraints held firm. He couldn't break free. And with the suppression field dampening their quirks, they had no way to escape.
Bakugou was snarling, his entire body shaking with fury:
- I swear, I’ll rip you apart the second I—
But the villain didn’t wait. With a hiss, he activated the gas. The room filled with a faint, sickly green mist that quickly surrounded them.
⊹˚₊‧───────────────‧₊˚⊹⊹˚₊‧──────────
The villain, known only as Obsidian, had meticulously planned every detail of his operation, driven by a singular obsession: to unlock the secrets of heroism. He watched with a twisted sense of satisfaction as Katsuki Bakugou and Izuku Midoriya succumbed to the gas, their memories and identities slipping away. In their amnesic state, they were no longer the formidable heroes everyone admired; they were mere subjects in his grand experiment.
Obsidian had long studied the psychology of heroism and rivalry, fascinated by the nuances that made heroes like Bakugou and Midoriya such a compelling duo. He believed that their unique bond, formed through conflict, collaboration, and mutual respect, held the key to understanding the very essence of what made heroes great. Now, with their memories erased, he could strip away their identities and analyze them as pure psychological specimens.
With each passing moment, Obsidian envisioned the experiments he would conduct. He had designed a series of trials and machines specifically tailored to probe the depths of their minds. He wanted to observe how their amnesic state would affect their physical capabilities and their instinctual bond. Would they still fight like a well-oiled machine, or would the absence of their shared history cause chaos? He was particularly interested in the effects of his specialized drugs—serums that could enhance their physical attributes while also destabilizing their mental states.
Obsidian intended to push them to their limits, forcing them to adapt to new circumstances while their minds remained blank slates. He could already see the potential for groundbreaking discoveries: what happens when the foundation of a hero’s psyche is stripped away? How would they cope without the weight of their past?
With a gleeful anticipation, he monitored their vitals and brain activity from his control room, eager to see the results of his twisted curiosity. As he watched their minds flicker like flames in the dark, he felt an intoxicating rush. They were no longer the legendary U.A. students; they were his to experiment on, his to mold and shape according to his design. The true test of their resilience had just begun, and he couldn’t wait to see what would emerge from the chaos.
Deku gasped, trying to hold his breath, but it was no use. His head grew light, his thoughts slowing down. He looked over at Bakugou, whose eyes were still burning with rage—until they started to dim.
Deku's voice felt distant, like it was coming from somewhere far away:
- No… Kacchan…
He tried to remember what they were supposed to do, but the thought slipped from his mind, like water through his fingers.
Bakugou’s eyes locked onto his, but there was a flicker of confusion in them:
- Deku, what the hell is… I can’t…
The room seemed to spin as the gas took effect, clouding their minds. Memories—flashes of training with All Might, of fighting side by side, of their dreams of becoming the top heroes—started to fade. The faces of their friends—Uraraka, Todoroki, Iida—all of it began to blur, slipping away like distant echoes.
Deku tried to fight it, tried to hold onto something—anything—but the memories kept unraveling. His name… what was his name? He couldn’t remember. And the person next to him—Kacchan? Was that even his name?
Bakugou’s body slumped in the chair, his breaths shallow:
- Why… can’t I… remember…
His voice was low, almost defeated, as the gas washed away everything.
The villain stood over them, watching as the two most promising students of U.A. slowly lost everything that made them who they were, he whispered:
- There it is. Just two ordinary people now.
The last thing Deku remembered before the darkness consumed him was a single, fleeting thought: I need to fight for him… but for who?
And then, there was nothing.
⊹˚₊‧───────────────‧₊˚⊹⊹˚₊‧──────────
When they awoke, it was in a completely different environment. The room was still cold, but the restraints were gone. They found themselves in a sterile room, the scent of metal and antiseptic filling the air. The walls were a stark white, and the only source of light was a bright overhead lamp that illuminated their surroundings. It was disorienting, but what truly captivated their attention was each other. Deku blinked slowly, his mind hazy. He tried to stand, but his legs felt weak, his body unsteady. He looked around, his heart racing with confusion.
Where was he? Who… was he?
Across from him, a blonde boy stirred, his sharp ruby eyes dull and unfocused. Gorgeous. He sat up slowly, blinking in disorientation:
- Where… what is this?
The blonde boy blinked, his sharp gaze falling on the figure beside him. The other was standing there, wearing a fitted white shirt that accentuated his toned physique and matching white pants that hugged his form just right. The curls of his dark green hair framed his face, and his freckled cheeks added a softness that contrasted sharply with the sharp lines of his jaw. Oh. He was wrong, apparently the beauty had freckles all over. Scars marked his arms, remnants of battles fought, but they only made him appear more rugged and handsome. Katsuki’s heart raced as he took in the sight before him—whoever this angel was he looked stunning.
Meanwhile, the other boy couldn’t help but stare back at the blonde, his heart skipping a beat. The blonde was absolutely gorgeous, standing there in a tight white shirt that showcased his ripped muscles and white pants that emphasized his powerful legs. Woah. He has such a tiny waist and such beautiful pecs. The way he carried himself exuded confidence, and the scars lining his arms only added to his allure, telling tales of his strength and determination. The boy felt a warmth spreading through him, something he hadn’t expected to feel in this strange situation.
Neither of them could recall their names or who they were, but that didn’t matter at the moment. In this moment of confusion, all they could focus on was the magnetic pull they felt toward one another. It was as if they had been drawn together by some invisible force, their eyes locking in a gaze that held both curiosity and longing.
The two of them locked eyes, but there was no recognition. Just two strangers, lost in a world they no longer understood.
The villain's voice echoed over a hidden speaker:
- Welcome to your new lives. From now on, you're nobody.
He, whoever he was now—looked at the blonde, his heart pounding in his chest. He knew he should say something, do something—but he didn’t know what. He didn’t know who he was, or why he was here. All he knew was a gnawing emptiness, a sense that something was missing.
Meanwhile, the blonde feeling the same hollowness, clenched his fists, though he didn’t understand why, he muttered under his breath:
- Why… do I feel like I want to hit something?
Neither of them knew they were once heroes. Neither of them remembered they were friends, rivals, and the hope of U.A. All they knew now was the fog that had settled in their minds.
And far away, outside this room, the world searched frantically for two heroes who no longer knew who they were.
The two of them might have been caught, but Deku knew one thing for certain: heroes didn’t give up. They would find a way to escape.
They had to.

Mustafa Monster: Since Valstrax is one of my favorite MH monter, here a step by step plan for izuku to get their wings !
1-"I need to fly" -> get wings
2-"i need to attack with my wings" -> wings become spear-wings
3-" i needd to fly faster" -> spear-wings become jet-engine-spear-wings
4-"i need a ranged attack (using my wings)" -> jet-engine-spear-wings become jet-engine-gun-spear-wings
Tada ! Now Izuku is in possecion of a brand new pair of Valtrax wings!
I should note that Midoriya cannot consciously choose how his Quirk adapts, but yeah, this seems like the process

AXE GUTAIR IZUKU IS BEST IZUKU. Just AHHHH!! Him using it and fighting off people while singing like… Thunderstruck or something, making people scream and the chaos.
Hizashi is so proud. (If Izuku ever does music on the side Hizashi has ever record they can get.)
And Shouto would sell his soul to Izuku after the many insults towards Endeavour that have the man taking a three week break, coincidentally misisng out on internship week. That’s his Bard friend now.
… also I now have the image of Shouto deciding to go D&D with his theme and choosing either Wizard or Barbarian. Just want to toss out the image of him in robes throwing ice and fire or him in a barbarian outfit with an ice weapon.
(I’m still squealing sorry. I love this so much.)
If we meld more bard spells in with like “music as a focus to do magic not entirely related to Bards” which is what I’m feeling for this Izuku would be such a force of nature on the field. Both because he would definitely train with the axe guitar until he is proficient in every way which includes us wing it like a damn club and because he can SUMMON FORCES OF NATURE DEPENDING ON THE SONG. 12/10 chaos demon perfection.
(Him and Kaminari could probably do a devastating team attack by feeding off of each other’s electricity. Honestly he could combo with a lot of the 1-A kids and cause a lot of chaos. Hmmmm many thoughts)
Hizashi is Izuku’s number one fan and not only gets all of his music should he ever release it but also every scrap of merch they can get their hands on once their baby is finally famous and a hero in their own right. Not to mention Izuku probably has at least a segment on PYHU starting from internships.

Various|| Secretaries
Type: Headcanons
Genre: N.S.F.W-Suggestive/Slice of life
Notes: Office! AU
Characters involved: Katsuki Bakugo, Kirishima Eijiro, Kaminari Denki, Midoriya Izuku
Prompt: They are your assistants/secretaries.
Bakugo K.
• He is the kind of secretary that's always on time, if not earlier. He is looking to be excelling in his work and expects the same from you, his boss.
• The type that doesn't allow you to do your own drink because "You have no fucking idea how to prepare that crap". Can't get mad at him for cursing, his drinks are delicious and unmatched. He also doesn't let you touch his expensive cappuccino machine (no matter if you drink coffee or not).
• He is so stubborn, always telling you how to do things and giving you piece of advice. It sometimes makes you wonder who is the real boss around.
• Likes things to be neatly organized and tidy, that might clash a little bit with you if you aren't able to keep your mess at bay.
• Sharp in every aspect. He is very analytical when it comes to the rest of your employees, often calling you "too soft" for allowing them to slack off from time to time. Will not hesitate to scold them on your behalf.
• Neatly dressed! Did you really think he was going to be unfashionable? He is all about vests and shirts, not to mention shiny shoes and the perfect tie.
• Stays after hours even when you tell him to go home and rest. If you work until late then he follows, his pride wouldn't allow his boss to do it alone.
• Oh, you gifted him a new shirt for his birthday? "Why do you even remember that shit but not the days you have meetings with the supervisors?" He uses it on special occasions anyways, feeling all fuzzy and proud whenever he does. He also thinks it makes him look hot.
• More than willing to be the boss under the sheets, if you have that kind of bond. He is able to separate his sex life from work but don't you dare tease him while in the office, he'll have you biting his pillows as soon as you two are able to get a room.
• Not afraid to scold you from time to time either, especially after you make basic mistakes.
The clock marked 6 a.m and you were the first one to arrive at the office, or so you thought.
—Tsk, you are late!— Your blond assistant complained while waiting for you at the entrance, holding a bunch of paper sheets in his hands.
You looked at him amused, already used to his frequent squabbling.
—No, I'm on time, you are just early.– You said, tapping your watch with your finger. Bakugo just huffed and rolled his eyes.
—Is that the shirt I gifted you? Looks nice on you!— You complimented, taking delight in the way Katsuki's frown slightly faltered into a flushed gesture.
—Shut up, open the damn office, I forgot my key this morning....— He mutters.
—Oh, you mean this key? You left it on my kitchen counter last night. Better be careful, right?— You slightly teased, feeling Katsuki's body tense with embarrassment.
— Tch, you are so bold now. You weren't this confident last night with my dick in your...—
—Bakugo!—
Kirishima E.
• He tries to be on time. Keyword: tries. This poor baby is always, at least, 20 minutes late. You've talked about this many times but it never seems to work, so he kinda compensates by bringing your favorite meals hot and ready for you at any hour.
• He is so clumsy, always tripping around the office because "his suit was so uncomfortable". You allow him to use more casual clothes from time to time, which seems to work but now you have other employees asking for a more relaxed attire.
• He is always encouraging you, leaving sticky notes with sincere words everywhere in your office. "I bought dessert, take a break. -K." "Drink some water, you seem tired <3 -K" "Best boss ever! -K"
• Low key you keep all his notes in a little notebook because he is precious.
• If he sees you are stressed out he will, with no hesitation, activate a red code. "And what the fuck is a red code?" , you wondered the first time: He sits you on a chair and brings your favorite items like a bird building a nest. He also gives you his favorite action figure to hold it.
• He tells you the best jokes, often cheering the meetings you hold and pleasing your supervisors. He is like a wildcard that comes in handy when you really need him.
• He's very chatty , so you stop him from answering your calls. Last time he did, he ended up giving one of your clients therapy through the phone.
• "Ooooh, boss~ Check this out!" *Shows you the picture of a horrible cake* "I made this for you-"
• You ate that cake even if you knew it'd have you glued to the toilet.
• If your relationship goes beyond the boss-secretary dynamic, you are in for a treat. Kirishima does not know how to act professionally when he misses your body so much during work hours. This man whines to have a taste of it while you deal with paperwork. You have to close the curtains of your office more regularly than you'd wish to, but he's just so eager to help you from underneath your desk.
• Don't let him use the printer unsupervised.
—Hello! You are talking to the best boss's office. How may I help?
You rolled your eyes listening to Kiri answer the phone, glaring at him for a second before sighing. Once he was done, you called him to your desk.
—What have I told you about greeting the clients correctly?— You scold, seeing the redhead melt with bashfulness.
—Sorry, but it's true!— He excused himself, pleased to hear you chuckle before letting him go.
—By the way, did you like the cake I baked?— He asked, his eyes shining with excitement. You didn't have the heart to tell him that you puked it all over the white porcelain of your bathroom.
—It was delicious, Kiri!  Do you wanna take a baking class with me?—You offered. He jumped in excitement at your offer, happy to know you wanted to spend more time with him outside the office.
—We are gonna have so much fun, boss!
Kaminari D.
• That one secretary that knows everyone's dirty secrets and gossip. You always get distracted with him telling you how much of a cheater the janitor is for sleeping with the cafeteria lady.
• Curiously enough, he is very responsible with his schedule (most of the time at least). He also likes to dress nicely to "impress the clients with his electrifying handsomeness"
• Kaminari sometimes likes to play small pranks on you to cheer you up and keep things lively around the office. Sometimes, he takes it a little too far for your taste, but you let him off the hook since he didn't mean harm.
• Has -and will not hesitate to- gifted you a framed picture of you two to decorate the office whenever you invite him for lunch, even if it's something as simple as instant Ramen.
• He places small cat miniatures on your desk whenever he feels like you are angry at him for chewing on your pens (happens a lot).
• Kaminari loves to give you rides from your home to the office on his motorbike, even when you've told him there's no need for it. He likes the way you hold him tight whenever he speeds.
• Owns his very own "Best secretary" mug and likes to boast about it in front of your employees.
• Bitchy and sassy, you often have to glare at him so he can take the hint whenever he needs to keep his mouth shut at a meeting.
• If he managed to swoon you and get you into his bed, you'll be hearing about it non-stop during office hours. He lives to tease, using innuendos that aren't very subtle. Half the office knows he managed to bang you.
• Overall efficient but God knows you have to put him in his place before his reign of chaos takes control.
You were busy revising some contracts when Denki came into the office with a sly smile on his face.
—Oh, boss~ Wanna hear the new tea that's brewing in the pot?— He asked, taking a seat in front of you. You lifted your head and huffed for a second.
—Not now, Denki. I'm a little busy over here.
Kaminari pouted, throwing a little tantrum.
—Pleaaase, I promise it's good!— He begged, dying to tell you all about how he found Jerry from Management asking the cafeteria lady for a chance.
You sighed, placing your papers aside.
—Alright, but it better be good or I'm gonna make you take calls all day.— You warned, smiling as your cheek rested on your hand.
Kaminari squealed in excitement, nodding.
—I knew you couldn't resist my charms!— He cooed, wiggling his brows.
Midoriya I.
• Meticulous beyond your comprehension, Midoriya takes note of every single detail he can: the way you like your drink, what you eat and your allergies if you have, your meetings and appointments. You are pretty sure he even has your shoe size noted in case you need an emergency pair.
• Always excited to learn from you and asks tons of questions about the ins and outs of your routine. "I- I don't drive but would you like me to get a taxi for you in the mornings?"
• Occasionally, you need to remind him to breathe because he gets so caught up talking he forgets to do so. Have I mentioned he is a life saver during meetings? Whatever you know, he knows it too and is not afraid to chime in to answer questions from clients and supervisors alike.
• You have taught him time after time how to do his tie knot but he still needs your help in the mornings to fix it. He ended up wearing a clip tie but from time to time, he forgets it and ends up in your hands again.
• Have you heard of his favorite action figure, All Might? No? Would you like to? Izuku loves to tell you all about his comics and figurines in his free time, and you can't help but find it cute when he gets all excited about it. You gifted him an All Might t-shirt and he wears it under his shirt.
• He can be a little clumsy when it comes to document delivery, sometimes mixing packages and mail. Don't worry, he quickly tries to fix it before you notice.
• You often need to stand for him whenever one of your employees gets rude. Izuku doesn't like conflict but he can't help but get in trouble whenever someone talks badly about you. Some might even call him a lap dog.
• If you allow him to, he is quick to develop a crush on you. He just can't shut up when he talks about you to his friends! Have you considered marriage? Don't worry, Izuku already married you ten times in a row in his imagination.
• Gentleman in the office, and a freak behind doors. He is just so eager to please! But don't get him wrong, he won't cross any boundaries you don't allow him to during work hours. Although from time to time you catch him staring at you with a lovey-dovey face while doodling hearts on his agenda.
• Your office low-key became his extra storage for All Might merch. You wonder when your mouse pad changed from plain black to that hero's logo.
—Izuku, have you seen my jacket? I can't find it anywhere.— You asked, looking around for any signs of the gray cotton item.
—I-I had to send it to the dry cleaner.— He muttered, anxiously fidgeting with his tie while answering. Izuku could see the confusion in your face as you raise an eyebrow.
—Why? It was clean this morning.— Midoriya heard you ask. "Oh, boss must be so mad! I failed, I failed! " The freckled young man thought.
He shakily rummaged through his pocket, reaching for a stained ziploc bag with the culprit of your missing coat: an All Might pen.
—I'm sorry, I'm sorry!— Midoriya pleaded, bowing as specks of tears fell from his emerald eyes. —I know how important today's meeting is, so I wanted to give you my lucky pen but…—
—It leaked and stained my clothes, no?— You finished his sentence, looking at him nod. You sighed but smiled anyways. —Now, now, come here.—
Hesitant, like a dog with its tail between its legs, he approached you. You weren't going to scold him for trying to be supportive, and besides, it was just a stain.
—I'm not mad at you, Izuku.— You reassured him, patting his head. —All I need by my side is my little wonderful assistant.—
To say Izuku was beyond grateful that day would be an understatement. He was so happy, the next day not only did he bring your clean jacket, but he also asked his mother to cook a meal for you.
—My boss is just so generous, mom!
Mama Midoriya is expecting marriage by the way.

My Hero Academia Chapter 410 - Farewell ! All For One
So, AFO is dying or dead
we might see more of him or just switch to Shigaraki soon
Bakugou might not be in condition to pursue the fight
Tumblr media
Oh no, another power up is in motion ?
Shigaraki is strong enough as it is
AFO, I'll be clear, your the unpleasant experience of a lot of people, being a lil' baby and losing once won't match up 9 holders of OFA that you pursued and horribly killed them and their loved ones
Tomura did suffer a lot too
but still, nobody wants to see you again, DISAPPEAR
just wanting to have a bigger impact on people is weird too
traumatic experiences actually tend to get forgotten even if they can arguably leave bigger impacts on the psyche and the life
it's dumb,
your horrible personality and opinions need to disappear
Tumblr media
YESSSS THAT TITLE
YESSSSSSSSSSSSS
SEE YA SUCKERS
I'm so happy to hate on him until the end because after that I'll have to try and be nice to Shigaraki if Deku manages to save him
someone protect bakugou, he's dying
I'm not getting a good vibe here
Tumblr media
NOOOOOOO
Killua flashback in my head
noooooooo
don't think that, the baby needs to get below 14 weeks (french laws) so we can abort it
Actually in japan it's 22 weeks it seems
Legally will this count as murder if AFO goes below that point?? His cells will definitely not have the structures needed to be a person and legally, he would be a fetus ???
Well anyway
someone protect Bakugou and prevent the baby from crawling to Shigaraki
Tumblr media
KIRISHIMA !!!!
NO FLASHBACK
I need Kirishima to help Bakugou, he definitely can't walk anymore and needs his unshakeable horse
PERFECT VICTORY IS COMING
(I was thinking that the page before, that thematically for Bakugou, it'd be quite bad to let his final fight end on an imperfect victory where he let AFO go and failed to save Deku)
(unless he could somehow help against Shigaraki which I doubt)
Tumblr media
Well regressing to a baby must really fuck up your consciousness and how you think,
say bye bye to the prefrontal cortex and a lot of other stuff too
Thank god Bakugou wasn't pierced by that spear
AFO is only relying on his mother quirk now
Tumblr media
REALLY ????? EVEN AS COPIES ??????
YESSSS
HAWKSSSSSS RAGDOLL
most of them are dead though
Tumblr media
NOOOOOO
he managed to prevent that ?????
an ass till the end
GOOD BAKUGOU
Tumblr media
AWWWWWWW
cuute
and powerful
too bad
we're all with IZUKU now
Good job, someone hug him and bring him to some safe place (looking at you Kirishima)
Tumblr media
TRUE THAT
but he'll manage to flee the arena
then Bakugou might turn into dust
(so happy to see Mirko and Tamaki)
Tumblr media
he might do that indeed
protect yourself too, nothing will be gained if you turn into dust
Tumblr media
Shigaraki wants to dig a hole then okay, but that's still only material destruction
it brings homelessness, destroys memories, costs a lot
but the people still have their own future left
so what's his plan after that, to attack a shelter ?
Another mom worrying
he should be fine but I get it
someone should hug them too
Tumblr media
Well he really wants to raze the map, blindless destruction and then nothingness
Tumblr media
You don't need to thank him, he caused you tremendous psychological trauma
Tumblr media
how did he cut them ???? With his arm ?
I don't like that "but"
he didn't touch him I hope
Tumblr media
Shit he stole danger sense
NOOOOOOOOOO
the one that managed to flee for that long
well
we're in danger *chuckle*
can Shigaraki even use the stolen quirk, their quirk factor must be quite tough to deal with and without OFA they're weak
Well, we'll see that next issue

But I forget why that was A Thing™ so I am down for just full fursona

Chapter 14: Fall From Grace
Tumblr media
Chapter Word Count: 6,700
Relationship: Izuku Midoriya X Female Reader
Previous Chapter: Thirteen
Next Chapter: Fifteen
MASTERLIST
Warnings: violence, drugs, cursing, weaponry
Notes: I actually had to split this chapter into two because the word count got a little out of control😅 so Reader is not mentioned much in this part. She gets her spotlight in the next chapter though!
I know it's taking an eternity to finish this story so for those of you still hanging on, I appreciate you. And as always, please enjoy!

Bakugo shouldered a heavy punch to the back and twisted on the impact, a growl rising in his throat. Teeth gritted in frustration, he countered a second punch with a swift kick to his attacker's heels. The woman tumbled and he delivered the finishing blow. A satisfying knock upside the head. She definitely wouldn’t be getting up from that one anytime soon.
Sparing a quick breath, he glanced around and spotted a mini tornado full of debris headed straight for him. Tables, dishware, and even a few unconscious heroes had all been caught up in the dust devil that was launched in his path. He took to the air to avoid the whirlwind that knocked aside the surrounding heroes whose mental states had declined to the point that they hadn’t even seen the giant swirling mass behind them.
A few of them crashed into the stage, shaking the plexiglass podium where Toshinori was supposed to be giving his speech later.
Toshinori.
That was another alarming detail he’d yet to solve. The man had disappeared among the chaos and he wasn’t quite sure whether that was a good thing or not yet. The retired hero, who once could’ve easily stopped anyone in his path, was now a liability. He silently prayed that Toshinori had somehow made it clear of this mess and was safely waiting it out where he wouldn't be in the way. But that never was Toshinori's style. It’s another annoying trait that Izuku shared with the old man. But for now, he needed to focus on the problem in front of him.
"Stay down ya drugged-up idiots!" He yelled, breathing labored. His landing was less than stellar and he stumbled a bit to stay upright. More converged on him the moment he landed. "Come on then! I can go all night!"
The sound of crinkling ice reached his ears just before a long jagged spire tried to impale him from behind. He pulled all the strength in his blast to dodge the sharp spear. Shoto was quick and powerful with his ice, which was usually invaluable in the field. Although, in this case, it was more trouble than Bakugo wanted to deal with at the moment.
"There you are." He grinned ferociously, facing the man.
Shoto wavered on his feet, looking almost in an angry trance. None of the heroes seemed to be cognizant enough of what they were doing. Which, in part, was actually a good thing. They were haphazardly using their power with no direction and barely any concentrated strength behind it. The hits that actually managed to land still hurt like a bitch though. Not that he would ever admit to anyone. Ever.
Something struck Shoto in the shoulder and he looked down to find an arrow tip embedded through the flesh. He glanced behind him and pulled on the wire attached to it, dragging Momo right off her feet. She quickly cut the line with a dagger popping out of her hand like magic and rolled back up, swaying almost like a drunkard.
Bakugo inwardly groaned as the two faced off. He knew the drug was altering their mental states. But they were still just as deadly in this state as in any other. Especially two of his…he supposed they were his friends. After all these years, it was still hard to admit the fact so he normally didn’t. But now, after all that shit with Izuku, he had somehow ended up as the emotional support crutch for everyone and that was something he was definitely not used to.
The two exchanged vicious blows that he knew were going to leave marks in the morning. If they all actually managed to survive this. Shoto slipped his foot forward, spreading his ice across the floor, trapping her feet in little glaciers of freezing ice. She fell forward, using her hands at the last second to stop her fall, and glanced at the ice, a snarl spread across her face.
Shoto didn’t give her a chance to counter as his boot smashed straight into her chest. The blow was so rough that even the ice at her feet couldn’t hold her in place and she bounced backward, rolling before she came to a halt on her stomach, breathing hard.
Though Momo, even in her dissociated state, was still clever. She had left three small discs lying at Shoto’s feet. The moment he kicked her, the mini bombs exploded, launching him back into a pillar, cracking the beam in two, and sending the giant marble columns crashing to the ground, nearly flattening a few heroes.
Bakugo smirked before he stepped in, wrenching Momo’s searching hands behind her and using his cuffs to secure her wriggling form. “Damn Momo,” he said glancing over to where Shoto, groaning, was getting back to his feet. “Where was all this vigor when we were sparring last month?”
Once she was secured, he picked her up and placed her off the side, behind a few overturned tables. The safest place he could gauge for the time being. As nonchalantly as he could, he searched her dress where she had stashed the few serums she had made in case any of them were infected. When he looked up, he couldn’t help the frustrated growl that bubbled up from his throat.
It was complete bedlam.
Bakugo spared a quick glance at the cameras mounted around the room, red lights still blinking. The world was watching this mess play out live unless Tsukauchi had been able to cut the public channels. This plan had backfired to a horrifying degree and he was wondering why he agreed to go along with it in the first place.
There wasn’t much time to spare thinking about it as he watched heroes drop left and right, viciously clashing with anyone within range and those iron-coated fears resting in the pit of his stomach had him doubting they would get up again.
Jumping back into the fray, he searched for the angry peppermint among the crowd, though he seemed to have momentarily disappeared. Striking down a younger hero who had decided it was a good idea to charge him head-on, he felt flames slash his back before a pillar of ice encased his right arm. With a bit of firepower, he managed to break the ice and flip back sans his usual grace, flying just over Shoto to launch an assault from above.
Shoto's reaction time was too slow in his current state and didn’t dodge. For the second time that night, he was blasted backward with intense firepower and slammed into a few other squawking heroes. All of them went tumbling in a writhing heap. Bakugo pursued, not wasting his chance to subdue him while he could.
"You better not make me regret this Icy-Hot!" Bakugo hollered, flying straight into him like a missile, landing a solid fiery punch. Shoto gasped and his eyes widened in pain, body stumbling back before Bakugo grabbed the scruff of his neck. "Making me do all the work as usual!" He pulled out a small syringe from his belt and ripped the cap off with his teeth, the other hand in a vice grip around his collar. “Time to get off the crazy train!”
He plunged the needle into Shoto’s neck and the man stiffened, eyes narrowing as he bellowed, ripping the syringe off and tackling Bakugo to the ground. The two wrestled for control. Ice spread down Shoto’s right arm, encasing most of Bakugo’s torso before he slowed, face going slack and eyes rolling into the back of his head. He slipped off Bakugo and would’ve slammed his head into the ground if Bakugo didn’t catch him. With a rare gentleness, he laid Shoto on the floor and crawled to his knees, brushing the crackling ice off his already scruffed-up suit jacket.
Bakugo’s vision went a bit fuzzy as he slowly got to his feet. Wait, it wasn't fuzzy…that was mist. Coming through the vents above the room was a fine white wreath of mist he recognized.
"Dammit Deku!" He growled, scrambling for the mask that was no longer around his neck. It had been shattered by a lucky punch to the mouth a while ago.
Soon the haze grew in intensity and the air stilled as the mess of quirks died down. Though the deranged heroes took little notice, continuing to fight with their fists instead of their power. But Bakugo took a good look around and noticed they seemed slower…weaker. The drug was wearing on them and soon enough it would use up all their strength. He just had to hold out until then. Easy-peasy.
Bakugo struck out his hand to test his own quirk and was met with nothing. "Fuck." He muttered and rolled to his feet.
He was still heavily outnumbered here. Now without this quirk, it would make things even more difficult. Though he would never admit it to anyone but himself.
The hair on the back of his neck tingled and he twisted, narrowly avoiding a sharp punch to the jaw. Ochaco didn’t miss a beat and used her own momentum to wrap her arm around his throat, climbing onto his back and using the counterweight to flip him off his feet.
They both slammed into the ground, Ochaco using her body weight to keep him trapped beneath her. Out of all their friends, Bakugo always enjoyed sparring with her the best. She was probably the best hand-to-hand fighter he knew. Even drugged up, she seemed to retain all her muscle memory. Impressed as he was, he couldn’t let her get the upper hand on him.
She slammed her forearm into his throat, shutting down any attempts at talking. As pointless as he knew it would be, he still had wanted to try for some reason. Ochaco always had a way of doing that to him. She was really the only one he could stand to be around or talk to, or…he was going to stop there.
Gripping her arm, he wrapped his leg around one of her own and pushed his hips to the side. It was a move that ripped her off him and she went sprawling. Before she could recover, he had her pinned down in a reversal this time. Her angry shouts went ignored as he dug around his belt for the next syringe.
“As much as I wanna fight you right now, I’ve got other priorities,” he grumbled, biting off the cap of the syringe and struggling to keep her pinned in place. “But let’s do this again.”
He jabbed the needle into her neck and she gasped. Her hand shot up to grab his collar, fingers scrambling to try to tug him away, but in her current state, she wasn’t able to put up much of a fight.
It seemed the fog cleared from her eyes for a moment, even as they dimmed into unconsciousness. “Katsuki? …what…” Then she went limp.
He let out a heavy breath, staring into her slack face. Her red face was beaded with sweat, her hair slightly disheveled ( what did it matter that he smoothed it back into place?), and he still thought she looked beautiful.
Those unbidden thoughts were interrupted by an awful metallic screech of what sounded like microphone interference and he rose to his feet, standing protectively over Ochaco. The sound echoed around the room so loudly that it stunned the still-brawling heroes around him.
He covered his own ears as the noise crescendoed to a deafening level. The room came to a crashing halt as heroes dropped like stones. Bakugo nearly fell to his knees but through sheer determination and probably an abundance of fury, he stayed standing.
"Well, well, well," a woman's voice boomed over the speakers. "It seems like we have a real party going now. What a show that was!"
Bakugo glanced around suspiciously, wiping a bit of blood from his left ear. The sound reverberated too much to pinpoint where the source was.
"All we need now is the guest of honor. Where did that coward of a hero run off to?"
Now that the fight was over, Bakugo wavered in place, and fatigue rolled through him. He bared his teeth, now onto a whole new fight with his body. Not that he would ever admit it, but fighting that many heroes off alone, was taxing. Though he suspected, this was only the beginning.
The quiet, aside from the tinnitus ringing in his ears, was unsettling. The room was a little too still. Whatever she did, it took everyone out in one fell swoop. That was powerful.
"Oh? No threats?" Where's that fighting spirit hero? Have you lost your tongue?" She laughed over the speakers. "And here I thought you might've had what it takes. I guess I was wrong."
"Oh, you'll get what's coming to ya!" He shouted to the air. "So stop hidin'!"
"If you insist." She sounded smug and didn't that just grate his nerves.
The very air bent in on itself. Ikari appeared like the demon she was. Standing on the stage in her old hero costume, she flashed him an overconfident grin.
He knew to expect her to show up tonight, but still seeing her in that old costume brought back memories of that night she was arrested. Izuku was the key factor in that arrest, but Bakugo had consulted on the case enough to know all the details. What a piece of work.
Stepping forward, Bakugo reflexively smacked his fists together, frowning when that familiar spark didn't flare between his hands. Right. Old habits die hard. Even that movement was enough for his body to protest. He was more exhausted than he realized. Like hell he'd let his weakness show.
"What's the point in fighting something that's already been decided." She said. "Stay down and you might just survive this. I'm not here for you, after all."
He growled, clenching his teeth. "Revenge. What a stupid notion."
"To you perhaps. But this is about more than revenge." Lifting a finger to the ceiling, she cocked her head. "Isn't that right?"

Izuku had strapped the plastic long gun to his back, a bit awkwardly with the parabolic dish attached to the end, as he made his way up the stairwell. Phantom hot on his tail with his own twin stun guns holstered to his hips. There weren't many weapons inside the stash, and Izuku wasn't too inclined to give him something really dangerous, so they settled for stun weapons.
The two men were quiet, dress shoes clacking against the concrete as they briskly made their way to the top. Izuku used the time to get lost in thought. He couldn't even count all the things that had gone wrong. How had their plan gone so wrong so quickly? Did she also have a quirk that could predict the future tucked away into that arsenal of artificial quirks? That would certainly explain a few things. It's like the woman had only spent the last few years devising the perfect plan, accounting for every action that he would take, and over-analyzed all of them. He suddenly knew how it felt to be on the receiving end of such a personal analysis. He shivered at the thought.
“So…” Phantom broke the tense silence, “you sure you’re ready for this?"
Izuku started at his words and spared a glance back at him. “We have to be.”
“Yeah, I know that. It’s just-” he paused on the stairs, eyes narrowed. “I know you’re the older -ah more experienced-  hero, but this plan totally sucks. Remind me why I agreed to this?"
Izuku held in an exhausted sigh, absentmindedly rubbing the newly done stitches to his chest. He was really not in the mood for this. "With what you told me, I have a rough idea of what she might try. This is the only way we can get close enough to spring a trap on her. Attacking from above is to our advantage. Kach- Bakugo and all of the heroes down there are relying on us. Phantom,” Izuku turned to the man, desperation clear on his face. “right now we're all we have. All they have. If we can't work together, the chances of saving everyone in that room plummets. I’m trusting you to trust me." Grabbing the railing, he eyed the hero. "And for what it’s worth… I am sorry."
The younger hero harrumphed but he looked away, muttering something under his breath.
The rest of the trip up was taken in silence until they reached the maintenance access door for the ballroom. The door was locked but Izuku pulled out a thin wire from the metal band around his wrist and wrapped it around the hinges on the door, praying it would work. It took a few seconds before the wire began to glow orange and the metal sizzled. In no time, the hinge snapped off and he removed the door silently. Of course, he'd be a fool to doubt Mei's work.
"Why do you get all the fancy gadgets?" Phantom whispered the question leaning close to see the band but backed off as Izuku shot him a warning glare. "Well, aren't you unusually moody today? I thought you were always Mr. Smiles in the Face of Danger."
Izuku didn't respond, simply heading through the door out onto the darkened balcony that overlooked the ballroom. He'd left his smiles at home, with you. It was hard to muster one up this time. His mind and body had been stretched to the limit recently and he still hadn't quite regained that confidence ever since the whole subway fiasco.
The high vaulted ceiling was about two stories high, meaning a fall, especially without quirks, would be deadly. The catwalk itself was narrow and expanded out across the ceiling to reach various lights and ductwork. The metal that made up most of the bridge was rusty and the railing was covered in a layer of dust. It hadn't been used in a long time.
Holding a finger to his lips in warning, he crept to the edge and peered down. Most of the heroes were out for the count and he hoped it was just because they had finally exhausted themselves instead of the alternative. Fog still marred most of the room, obscuring his vision, but he did catch sight of the unruly blond hair poking out. Relief flooded his already aching chest as he stared at Bakugo. Still Standing. Still breathing. Still alive.
Phantom moved to stand beside him, taking in the scene below. He wore a more serious look now. That playful (if you could call it playful) attitude was gone. His eyes moved rapidly, searching the floor with eagle eyes as if looking for something.
"They aren't dead, are they?" He glanced at Izuku for an answer.
"No." At least he hoped so.
An earsplitting squeal of electric interference resounded around the room. Izuku stumbled away from the edge, grabbing his ears. It reminded him too much of Tatsuya and for a moment, he was back in that faux house again. Then he shook his head, refocusing on the situation below.
Phantom had crouched down, covering his ears with a grimace. "That never gets easier to hear."
“What?” Izuku murmured, rubbing his sore ears.
"Well, well, well," a woman's voice boomed over the speakers, "it seems like we have a real party going on now. What a show that was!"
Izuku blinked, recognition crossing his face. He knew that voice. How could he forget the voice that haunted his dreams?
"All we need now is the guest of honor. Where did that coward of a hero run off to?"
Now was not the time to be getting lost in his memories. He moved back to the edge of the balcony, thankful for the shadows obscuring him in the darkness. Her voice boomed across the room, making it nearly impossible to tell where she was. Instead, he focused on Bakugo who seemed to be on the verge of collapsing. Even from this height, he seemed shaky, visibly trembling from exhaustion. Below him, Ochaco lay sprawled out on the ground. Guilt lanced through him just as painfully as the wound in his chest.
"Oh? No threats? Where's that fighting spirit hero? Have you lost your tongue?" She laughed, electricity crackling as the octave capped. "And here I thought you might've had what it takes. I guess I was wrong."
"Oh, you'll get what's coming to ya!" Bakugo shouted, his voice losing none of that fiery will. "So stop hidin'!"
"If you insist."
Up on the stage, the air condensed in a stomach achingly familiar way before Ikari emerged. She had even donned her old hero costume with the overconfident, egotistical grin to match. Beside him, Phantom hitched his breath, appearing to recognize her as well.
Izuku noticed Bakugo waver as he stepped forward, determined to face her head-on. "Don't be reckless," he muttered to himself, all too aware of the hypocrisy in his words.
"What's the point in fighting something that's already been decided." Stay down and you might just survive this. I'm not here for you, after all."
"Revenge," Bakugo growled out. "What a stupid notion."
"To you perhaps. But this is about more than revenge." Face still sporting that overconfident smirk, she pointed a finger up, almost directly to where they were hidden in the shadows. "Isn't that right… Phantom."
Izuku instinctively took a few steps away, turning to face the hero, on the defensive.
Phantom had the stun gun pointed at him, a dark look on his face. They stood in silence for a moment.
“Why?”
Phantom took a step forward, finger twitching on the trigger. “Nine years ago. Nine years, Deku. Her name was Umi. She died because of you.”
Izuku’s eyes widened, the name and the memory burning fresh and bright in his mind. It had been the first civilian death he was responsible for. He remembered that day all too well. A villain had escaped police custody, running rampant in a small neighborhood. By the time he’d gotten there, most of the evacuations had been complete. Except for her. She had stayed, hiding, watching, and filming in one of the half-demolished buildings.
She was young. A bright dream of becoming a journalist and one misfired attack from the villain crushed that dream in an instant. He had spent over an hour trying to dig her out and when he finally found her, she was on the verge of death, terrified and clinging to him like a lifeline. Her once-silver hair was caked in dirt and blood. Equally silver eyes had dimmed as her life drained out in his arms.
“Your sister.” He said quietly, hands held out in a pacifying gesture.
“The closest thing I had to one. To family.” He growled, gripping the gun tighter. “And you let her die.”
Izuku took a step back, bumping into the gate that led onto the catwalk. He glanced down to see both Ikari and an unsteady Bakugo staring up at them. By the satisfied grin on her face, she probably could hear their every word.
Looking back to Phantom he took a deep breath and made the first move. He launched himself at the hero, fist poised to strike.
Phantom fired. Two darts shot out and Izuku dove to avoid the sparking tips. Rolling to his knees, he unhooked the gun from his back and aimed the dish. But Phantom was already charging and before Izuku had a chance to fire, his hand was kicked, and the intense burst of sound from the dish missed. Invisible waves of noise crashed into a large chandelier, shattering the ornate glass and sending the entire structure crashing onto the stage beside Ikari. Though she didn’t even so much as flinch, watching the fight with keen interest.
The gun flew from his hands and skittered out onto the narrow catwalk where it came to rest precariously on the edge.
He gritted his teeth and blocked the next hard kick with his forearms, then twisted, managing to grab Phantom's ankle to pull him off balance. Phantom stumbled back to regain his footing. Izuku used the chance to bolt onto the catwalk, hopping the little gate and running for the gun.
Phantom was right behind him, quickly closing the distance. He crashed into Izuku and they both tumbled onto the steel grating. The platform wasn't nearly big enough to fit them both so they struggled in the tight space, glancing a few rough blows off each other before Izuku managed to slide his knee underneath him and kick him backward.
The force knocked the younger hero back a few feet but he grabbed the railing to right himself and charged again. Izuku had rolled onto his stomach to reach for the gun, but Phantom was on him again, pouncing above him to grab it first. Izuku's fingers bumped it just enough for it to teeter over the edge before slipping through the bars.
"No!" Izuku slapped the metal band around his wrist and the wire shot out, wrapping around the handle of the gun, catching it about ten feet below. It dangled in a moment of silence as both heroes looked at it.
Izuku used the opportunity to see what was happening below them. Both Bakugo and Ikari were staring up at them, watching the battle. He caught Bakugo's gaze, giving him a slight reassuring smile that Izuku knew would probably irritate him before Phantom grabbed his wrist and smashed it into the grate. With a cry, he released the hold on the gun and it clattered to the floor.
The force of the blow creaked with the metal on the platform, making the entire structure sway. Cracks on a few structural wirings suggested someone's quirk must've reached high enough to damage them. The entire rig was destabilizing. They needed to get off or risk falling.
"Phantom," Izuku turned to the man shouting, "think about this. You're a hero!"
"Oh, trust me, I've put plenty of thought into this. For nine years, I’ve thought about how it would feel to do this!" He grinned and with one heavy kick, sent Izuku sprawling across the grates.
Izuku groaned and scrabbled at the metal to pull himself into a sitting position. His back pressed into the thick bars of the railing. He took a deep breath, clutching at his chest and doing everything in his power to keep the pain at bay. His newly done stitches were probably torn and Bakugo was going to kill him if he survived this.
He watched with a heavy glare as Phantom slowly closed the distance then his eyes flicked down below and he couldn't help the small grin that flashed across his lips.
A loud snap drew both their attentions as the entire rig abruptly listed to the side, forcing Phantom to hold on or fall off. Izuku wasn't so lucky as he slipped through one of the bars and half his body was flung over the edge. He managed to catch hold of the lowest rung while the rest of his body swung over the deadly drop. He cursed, sucking in a harsh breath as he tightened his grip through a pained gasp.
"Well Deku, what do you think?" Phantom made his way over and leaned across the bars to stare down at the dangling hero. "Think that was enough of a distraction?"
They both glanced below.
Tumblr media
Phantom buckled the holster to his waist, spinning the twin stun guns before slinging them. He glanced at Izuku fiddling with the plastic band on his wrist. The guns were plastic too, he noticed. In fact, all the weapons in the bag were plastic.
“Let me guess, Creati made these?” He gestured to his weapons. “Smart.”
“Ikari's quirk,” Izuku explained. “She can manipulate metal.”
“Yeah, I know.” He crossed his arms and leaned against the wall. “Still, it probably won’t work attacking her head-on. You’re doomed to fail.”
Izuku looked up at him, his eyes sharp and almost…nervous? Phantom grinned. It wasn’t every day he could ruffle the number one hero.
“You’re working for Ikari, aren’t you?” He watched the pale white-haired hero warily, almost resigned. “You’re a promising hero. There has to be another reason why.”
Phantom lost his smile, body tensing. “I don’t know, you tell me. You always thought you had all the answers, World's Greatest Hero.”
He was silent for a moment, ignoring the barb in favor of choosing his words carefully. “It’s clear you hate me. Maybe you and Ikari share the same goals.”
“Newsflash Number One, ” Phantom grumbled, “I do hate you. But if you seriously think I’d let that ruin my entire life, my entire career, then you’re even more dumb than I thought.”
Izuku blinked, still on edge as he watched the man in front of him. “But you are working for Ikari, aren’t you.” It wasn’t so much a question as it was a simple statement.
“Yes.” A simple answer in return.
“Phantom, I don’t have time for this. Every minute we waste in here, people get hurt.” Izuku leveled a glare his way. “I assume you have a good reason for doing so.”
He smiled wide, perplexed. “You’re so trusting. I can see why Bakugo is always so agitated by you. Or maybe that really is his whole personality. Regardless,” Phantom sighed and stepped off the wall, “how long have you known?”
“That you were working for her? About a few minutes ago. That she was back? About a month.”
“Two years. That’s how long ago she brought me in on her cabal.” Phantom held back a snarky remark at Izuku’s wide-eyed gape. “She thought she could use my hate to add fuel to the fire that would eventually destroy you. After I realized just how big an operation she was running, I knew I couldn’t turn down the opportunity.”
“The Kobaruto. Trace. You helped fund her entire plan.” Izuku said though he looked slightly baffled. “You wanted to play the long game, take them all down from the inside? That must’ve been a major undertaking. I’ve never heard about anything remotely close to something like that in the works.”
“Because it wasn’t government-sanctioned. I ran solo.” He gauged Izuku’s reaction, continuing when the man didn’t say anything. “You really pissed her off, you know? It took a lot of background work to keep everything running smoothly with minimal losses.”
“Minimal losses?” Now that fury Izuku was keeping in check came out with a passion. “So you knew Ikari would sic Tatsuya on Y/N? Did you know she was planning to slaughter the Hashira gang? You knew they were going to attack us on the bridge? You knew about everything?”
Phantom’s face hardened. “She wanted to just kill Y/N outright. To kill all of them. Her orignal plan was to slaughter your entire family and friends. She wanted nothing more than to see you left with nothing. I convinced her otherwise.”
Izuku faltered at that, stepping back as if the very words had sucker-punched him right across the face. “What?”
I spied on you for months. You had no idea, did you?” he asked. “I did my due diligence. Spied on everyone. That’s how I found out about Tatsuya too. Figured I could take out two birds with one stone. Though, I didn’t expect him to get that far. I never meant for it to get that out of hand, but there was little I could do with Ikari breathing down my neck.”
Izuku fisted his hands but kept silent.
“I did damage control. Hate me if you want, but I saved you all.” His words seethed through his teeth. “I did what you couldn’t do.”
They both glared at each other for a long tense moment before Izuku broke away, turning his narrowed gaze to the weapons bag still lying on the floor.
“Why did she turn to you?” He asked silently, a fragile tone to his voice. “You said she wanted to use your hate. Why do you hate me so much?”
“You really don’t know?” He scoffed, folding his arms defensively, or maybe…protectively. “A guy like you, I’m sure you haven’t forgotten that day.”
Izuku racked his brain, running through every scenario they’d ever run across each other. But nothing to deserve such hatred that even Ikari would turn to it.
“Umi.”
It was just a name but again, he felt an impact right in his gut the moment it left his mouth. Of course, he remembered the name. It was one he would never forget. He would never let himself forget it. All of Izuku’s anger deflated as he stared at Phantom with a new light. It all made sense now.
“Someone you cared for. Someone important to you.” He heard himself speak, though his tongue felt numb. “Phantom I-” he paused, then let out a heavy breath. “Hirata, I’m-”
“We weren’t related, but we grew up together. She was my little sister in all but blood. You know, when we were young, we used to play heroes. I was always the hero, but Umi never wanted to be one. She always dreamed of being a journalist. We had even made a pact. I would become the hero and she would become the journalist that would make my name known to the world.” He laughed bitterly. “And I always keep my promises.”
Izuku could only stare at the man in front of him, those hard walls cracked in a few places as he spoke. He was lost in the memory. That same wrenching in his gut, full of devastation tried to pull him under again. That day had been almost too hard to move past because if he had just been a little bit faster, a little bit stronger, a little bit…better, then that girl might’ve survived.
Guilt had completely floored him that day. It ate away at him until he was nothing but a ruined, hollow mess. The first civilian casualty he had been directly responsible for. Toshinori had been there to help him through that day. He played through thousands of scenarios, all coming to the same conclusion that left him in such a dark place that even All Might had a hard time pulling him out of.
“I don’t blame you Midoriya.” Phantom’s words cut through that thick layer of self-depreciation Izuku was working himself into, shocking him to his core. “I mean, I did. For a long time. But I knew placing blame on people never solved anything. I’ve analyzed that day more times than you could count.” He took a deep breath. “I’ve only ever wanted to be a hero to protect people like my sister from getting hurt. I know you’re the same.” He fell silent for a second as if his next words were hard to form. “...there’s still some part of me that has trouble forgiving you, but that doesn’t make me a villain and it never will.”
After what felt like an eternity, Izuku locked eyes with him again. “I don’t expect your forgiveness.” His voice was barely heard above the white noise of the ventilation unit. “But I need to know what you plan to do. There are too many lives at stake tonight.”
Phantom smirked, though it held no joy behind it. “Well, obviously play the villain.”
Tumblr media
Ikari stared at the two of them, satisfaction clear on her face even from this high up. “How does it feel Izuku!” She called up to his dangling form. “To be betrayed by a fellow hero? It hurts, doesn’t it? Maybe you can finally understand the pain of betrayal that I felt that night!”
Izuku focused more on keeping his grip. But he did spare her a glance, one that was not of despair, but one that mirrored her own triumphant smirk. Ikari blinked, confused before she whipped her head to where Bakugo had been wavering on his feet minutes ago. He was gone.
A thunderous sonic wave rocked the stage she was standing. The glass podium shattered under the powerful attack and Ikari's own scream was drowned out. Her hands slapped over her ears to try to fend off the attack to no avail. When the sound died down, she was left shaking in place before her knees gave out and she crumpled to the floor.
Behind her, Bakugo stood on the steps, the long sonic gun in hand with a bloody grin. He dropped the gun and marched over to the hero, dug his knee into her back, and roughly slapped some metal-free cuffs on her.
Izuku let out another shaky breath, relief evident in this one. With one threat taken care of, he turned back to Phantom.
"I never took you for such a dramatic actor," he wheezed, a bead of sweat rolling down his face. "You don't pull your punches, do you?"
"Why should I, Number One? You can take it, right?" He reached down and gripped Izuku's wrist. "As crazy as your plans are, I'll admit, I have always wanted to kick your ass."
"Heh, not the first time I've heard that." He adjusted his loosening grip and offered him a wobbly smile. "Mind helping me up?"
Phantom grabbed both arms and hauled him halfway up before another rope snapped, this time tipping the entire catwalk on its side. His jacket sleeve ripped as he was torn from Phantom's grip. Eyes wide, he watched as Phantom tried to grab him again, nearly succeeding before Izuku disappeared over the edge. It took Phantom everything he had to stay on the dangling rig, nearly slipping off himself.
"Izuku!" Bakugo screamed from below, powerless to stop the fall.
The metal band on his wrist reacted, sending a thin bolt of wire back up to the catwalk, wrapping itself around one of the bars. He came to a sudden and harsh stop that jerked every stitch he had, but all he could do was hiss through the pain and hang on. Black spots danced in his vision as he tried to focus on Bakugo down on the ground. He was still high up, but he swore he could have seen a prick of fear in his eyes. A rarity on the man. He must really be in trouble this time.
"Deku!" Above him, Phantom cried out.
Izuku refocused, looking up. A faint hum from the wire grew louder as it slowly glowed brighter. The metal bar, the only thing tethering Izuku to the platform, had started to sizzle. A thin stream of smoke wafted from where the wire bit into it. His eyes widened as he smacked the band, but the interface had been damaged during Phantom’s attack. He desperately fidgeted with the overlay, peeling off the cover with his nails, and ripped the wiring loose. The entire thing shuddered and powered down. The wire cooled almost instantly and Phantom wasted no time in grabbing hold to act as another anchor.
He let out a shaky breath, tapping the fine filament a few times with caution.
"Use those stupid muscles of yours and climb up!" He yelled, grip straining.
Not wasting any more time, Izuku hoisted himself up, holding in the wince as his chest screamed at him. He wasn't at full strength, especially when each movement sent a flurry of pain down his torso. With as deep a breath he could manage, he pushed it to the back of his mind and kept climbing. He managed to make it halfway before the metal bar, the wire having melted halfway through it, irrevocably snapped in two.
Phantom scrambled to keep his hold, sliding along the edge of the platform with a yelp. The wire sliced his hands and wrenched itself right out of his bloody fingers.
Izuku plunged into a free fall.

Note
So a while back, I asked how ectoplasm would fare during the sports festival and you said that he’d lose to Bakugo because he’s too mobile, Eijiro and Tetsu are too tanky, and Izuku, Denki, Ibara, and Shoto have wide spear attacks to destroy them all. I’ve been think on the strategies for him to beat them so just say whether or not it would work. Bakugo- have him close the distance and when he gets close, surprise him with a giant arm to grab him to immobilize or throw him out.
Eijiro/Tetsu- spawn all the clones and hide within to tire them out like what cementoss did in the exam. If they destroy them, he can easily make new ones to replace them since their strategy is to bull rush people. Ibara- surround himself with the clones as lookouts and if the vines creep forward, have them tie and tangle the vines up. Eventually the vines will be in more manageable size and the real one could get her while the clones hold her hair down. Denki- assuming he doesn’t have his metal legs, when he goes for the attack, hide behind all the clones in a huge clump which should block the electricity or at least reduce the damage. Alternatively he could spawn a giant arm to block the attack or toss him out of range then catch him.
Izuku- keep spawning giant arms to block his air blast or attack him till he uses up all his fingers. Maybe have some arms on hand to hold him within the ring. Shoto- if he goes for the huge glacier, assuming he keeps his mouth uncovered he could make an arm to smash him out of the ice or smack him out the ring since he would be at his quirks limit if he does this. He could also piggyback on a clone and if it gets frozen, jump onto a new one or smash the ice with an enlarged hand.
So while I do appreciate you're ideas, I think you are overestimating how capable "Clones" is and underestimating the rest of the students. The clones are very easy to destroy and aren't any strong then Ectoplasm himself. So the idea that he could try to pull off a war of attrition on Kirishima and Tetsutetsu seems farfetched given their superhuman abilities. Same goes for Bakugou. While the large limbs could be an issue, I think he'd be able to out maneuver them with his blasts, either destroying them or attacking a now vulnerable Ectoplasm, who can't make any more clones. Ibara and Denki both have ways to circumvent anything Ectoplams, either through Ibara's control of her vines letting her tangle all of the clones or Denki's lighting easily traveling around or through whatever Ectoplasm tries to make to protect himself. Both of these factors apply with Shoto and Izuku. Izuku is going to break straight through whatever giant arms that Ectoplasm makes and send him flying in the process. I don't even think he'd need more then one finger to do it. Shoto's attacks are both powerful and widespread. Anything Ectoplasm tries to make, it's going to be frozen over by Shoto spamming his Quirk again, leaving him unable to control it.
