i immediately noticed something about izanami’s sprite here while catching up on DRHD.

uh,

where have i seen that necklace on her right arm before?

i decided to go back to the official DRHD account for the sake of comparison— and there’s one character who hasn’t had a revealed design yet so far:

this guy. y’know, that one mystery character that was revealed at the end of the voice actor announcement

well uh.

i don’t know, but those necklaces seem VERY similar. plus the way it’s hanging on their arm/hand for both of them is also interesting.

it’s possible there’s a relation between izanami and “the devil” but i’m not sure? i know this is a minor clue but it would be VERY interesting if they were somehow connected

Otome - Haname (canonical)

Kiyoshi - Teatime-With-Kiyoshi

Bani - Tizmbnuuy

Akira - Akira-Hayasaka (shes a influencer, so i believe that she has a more accessible nickname)

Chiemi - Rave-Gal

Chou - Flutter-Gal (originally her stage name, but changed it to be matching with chiemi, her manager and a big portion of her fans don't approve RIP)

Hideyoshi - W0LF-H1D3

Izamami - Witchi-Nami

Katsuhiko - Katsuhiko-Minamoto (he says its too “unprofessional” to have a fun name)

Kyouran - 101ko (because hes a con artist, i feel like he would have a username that would seperate him and his identity)

Rei - she canonically doesn't use technology, so she wouldn’t have one

Satoru - Hypertime-satoru

I think Akira's comment in the prologue about hiding from fans has to do with the underlying theme of creepy fans. and I think Izanami as a goddess is way too farfetched, though I do think her talent will have something to do with the paranormal/supernatural. like she's the Ultimate Seer or something.
