Countryside Driving VI: Saiko Iyashi no sato Nenba

my last stop in this day of countryside driving is by no means unreachable by public transportation, but i had a rental car, so why not drop by? the ancient village theme intrigued me a little, and with a nominal fee of 500 yen, you are free to roam the village. the village was pretty much a theme park of sorts, housing stores that sold traditional Japanese goods and souvenirs, as well as restaurants for visitors. the shops didn’t interest me much, and i was starting to feel exhausted from my long day out, but i stuck around if only to appreciate the ancient Japanese houses and be amused by the occasional tourists cosplaying as samurai, making videos of their visit to this ancient village.

its way past 4 am so thats part of the reason for this but all day and just recently in general even ive been in such a weird space and despairing a bit over some things in my life and its not necessarily been entirely bad but i was close to depression venting on here earlier today just to dispel some of those feelings. but like. i cooked myself dinner and thought about how i had the weekend ahead of me and barely a minute into the ddaeng bangtan bomb i started crying because i just felt so reassured and reconnected.... i dont know the word to use. but i went to iyashinosato the other week and it felt the same way . like it was a few days after my panic attack and i had all this leftover anxiety in my body and it was like when you get in hot water and shiver. but like psychologically soothing and you can feel your soul kind of trembling inside you as all that stress and anxiety is brought to the surface and gradually combed out and your soul settles back into place. it makes me want to go to kamakura for marine day because i think it would be nice and healing but if there are too many people i might get overwhelmed so maybe not. but anyway it was nice to have some bangtan loving hours tonight. sometimes you have to cry because feelings of love and peace with oneself flush the stress chemicals out of your body that way.... but im not a scientist so idk if thats actually how it works. anyway i think its time to get some sleep goodnight ! if ur reading this i love you!
