Have you all seen Iwájú? It's pretty good, and I hope it gets another season to properly explore the advancement of technology in Lagos and fixing the classism that takes place throughout the series.

In futuristic Lagos, Nigeria, Tol is a young girl from the wealthy island and Kole, a self-taught tech expert, is her best friend. The two discover the secrets and dangers hidden in their quite different worlds.

Kugali and Walt Disney Animation's Iwájú is directed by Olufikayo Ziki Adeola from a screenplay by Adeola and Halima Hudson. Hamid Ibrahim serves as production designer on the series and Toluwalakin Olowofoyeku serves as cultural consultant. Iwájú stars the voice talents of Simisola Gbadamosi (Tola), Siji Soetan (Kole), Dayo Okeniyi, Femi Branch, and Weruche Opia.

Iwájú drops on Disney+ on February 28, 2024.

Watching Iwájú and it’s incredible. The show had a dark twist less than five minutes into the first episode, but it’s still so lighthearted and funny.

Why is no one talking about IWÁJÚ?

Is it bad or something? Should I not be watching it? Usually Tumblr jumps on an opinion on such media, but I've seen very little. I only discovered it by accident while watching some stuff on YouTube a couple weeks ago.
