It is occuring to me that not many ppl will enjoy the actual contents of the roadtrip au
#ive noticed that everyone has this very romantic notion of what the zones must be like#and im not saying that interpretation is wrong or bad or anything bc danger days#provides this like. delicious form of escapism#but also like i have this disease where i look at smth with miserable context and go#they cant possibly be enjoying this#like in my au the whole roadtrip thing is bc theyre realizing they cant raise the girl in the zones#not just bc of bl/ind but bc like. ppl deserve better than to#fear for their life every day and eat canned dog food yk?#i feel like. the zonerunner lifestyle is supposed to be the other end of an extreme yk?#the wild colourful life or death foil to batt city#and the ideal world is this place witjout capitalism and this big brother state where people are free to be Human and#have their needs met#like i dont think the zonerunner life was meant to be seen as enjoyable but then again I'm also#an enjoyer of angst and misery so#still if theyre eating dog food i dont think its as good as wed like#chattering
