tl;dr: tbh not much to go off on about. i think we see a new skin for Iron Bear, one with some stripes. amara smiles, i do talk a little bit about little sisters in bioshock but tbh i think this was all just a stylistic choice lol. oh and handsome jack’s masks- probably Mount Jackmore. i don’t want to get to freaked out over jack returning, but damn gearbox lol u had me there for a second. im pretty sure it’s just a reused cut quest from bl2 that they never got to implement.

holy shit that was fucking great and im really glad i tempered my expectations to something smaller than i thought because i feel bad for people expecting something huge, i was under the assumption we’d be getting a new mechanic that was like ‘choose ur +1 and they’ll be able to play the game with you if you’re both online even if they don’t have the game’ which was what someone said on reddit. altho im sure the poor company is gonna get spammed now with hate like ‘WTF YOU SHOULDN’T HAVE BUILT THIS UP AAAA’. not to lie, i was slightly disappointed it wasn’t a longer stream, but i mean if they’ve got nothing to announce, they’ve got nothing to announce and HEY! new trailer!!! gonna be combing thru on the assumption this has some easter eggs like the MoM trailer did, just in case. i thought it was a cute trailer, gearbox never explicitly said what it was gonna be, a lot people all just assumed what was gonna happen was a demo/beta which sucks so i hope this doesn’t negatively impact people’s perspective of the game. im staying off reddit for now bc when i first checked it people were pretty pissed and i dun need that negativity lmao

i do know we’re going to roland’s grave in bl3, but the statues don’t really match up. maybe it is and the statues were broken, or ruined or something and replaced by a cross. could be then that the gravesite was defaced with, well, the guy that killed him.

        As Jason’s significant other, or being in a relationship with a vigilante in general, came with said vigilante getting injured. Injured a lot. Especially in Jason’s case. At first, it always scared the shit out of you. Yes, you have seen some horrible cases in your line of work. Gorier than what Jason comes home with. But as time grows on it almost seemed to grow into a normal or even slight annoyance when he came home with something and would not let a medical professional help treat it. This yet again was one of those cases.

        Jason was one of people who could mask pain so well with a smile it was concerning when you take time to think about how much he had to practice it. How much he has gotten wounded to always mask it and take care of it himself. It even lead you to thinking about what Joker did to him and how painful that experience was. The thought alone sent shivers down your spine.

        You were reading quietly in the bedroom you two shared when he came in through the window. You perked up from your book, glancing inquisitively at your boyfriend as he wrenched his helmet off. He gave you a disapproving look to which you rolled your eyes at. 

        “Babe, it’s four in the morning, you should be asleep,” He chastised, heading towards the bathroom. You sigh and shake your head, marking your spot in the book and following after him. 

        “What happened Jay?”

        “What do you mean?”

        “You’re in pain.”

        “I am not in pain.”

        “Jason fucking Todd I can see the blood seeping through your jacket,” You walked into the bathroom, now scowling down at the man you hold dear to you. You never would understand why he would hide these things from you. “I’m helping.” With that, you got to work with helping him undress. It seems he did not even have the energy to fight with you about it from how early it was and how sleep was more important than helping fix what his self-destructing behavior caused. He just sighed and accepted defeat. He did not know why you dealt with his shit.

        “Jason, I told you to be careful,” You exhale, looking at the stitches that had been ripped and torn apart. The wound was a stab wound from a few days prior. It was not that deep and was in his upper back. You had done your best to patch it up and hoped Jason was telling you the full extent of his pain and what happened to avoid you not overlooking any variable. However, his flesh was another story, the tissue taking further damage from his carelessness. Aggravated, as this was the third time he had ripped stitches. 

        “I should march you right down to the hospital in your Red Hood get up next time and see what happens. You seriously have to be more cautious,” You don’t even warn him as you clean the wound with alcohol, watching his body flinch and hearing the sharp inhale from the pain. “I’m not numbing it, either,” You grumbled. Perhaps he had upset you more than he intended. Hiding it was what really got to you, though. He didn’t seem to get that. “I even made it official with a ‘doctors orders’. You don’t ignore doctors orders!”

        You thread the needle, getting yourself even more worked up. “One of these days you’re going to get really messed up and I won’t be able to help. What then?” Once again, without warning you take out the stitches that had ripped. The area was sensitive and caused a grunt from the large male. He still remained silent. 

        “I’m always fixing your stitches. You need to take a break. Take a rest for a day, let it actually heal for once--”

        “Crime doesn’t rest, (name).”

        “Now you sound like Bruce!” You had not started stitching him back up, instead placing the needle down on the sink and going over to face him. You grabbed his cheeks and looked him dead in the eye. “Crime might not rest, but you need too. Self care is immensely important. Healing is also super important. It’s your body literally saying ‘chill the fuck out for a while, kay?’ Why do you refuse to do such things? Jason, I see the world in you, but it’s hard to sleep when I know you do shit like this. So please, for the love of god, just take a few days off,” You huff. Jason attempted to avoid your eyes like the plague at first before becoming trapped in your gaze. 

        Dammit, when faced with a speech like that, what could he even say? He didn’t apologize. Instead, he leaned forward and gently planted his lips on yours. “Okay,” He said when the two of you parted, nodding his head. 

        “Okay,” You said, stepping back and walking back behind him. “This is going to hurt. I’m still not numbing it.”
