the good news though is despite my illness i did pick up etrian odyssey 4 on my newly fixed 3ds and i did pass the first stratum in the past 2 days
#vesselage#i think i've changed. since the last time i tried this game#or maybe i'm too sick to get mad about having to level a character i wasnt planning on leveling on short notice#ive literally never played the landsknecht class or whatever its called#because i thought the character portraits were ugly or something. they just didnt pique my interest#and i thought i didnt need another frontliner since i already had both the fortress and the emo one#but it turns out they do massive debuffs that help a lot with survivability against bosses that hit hard#but then i made my little fanfiction in my head about them as a latecomer to the party and i accept them
