I had a breakthrough in planning for the next dnd session that I have no idea if we'll ever play and it took me Way to long to get there but it works with the shit thats going on in this town as well as what my players wanted n I'm Excited

#i led them with some lead last time that i wasnt quite sure what to do with but ive Definitely got it now #i didnt super enjoy the last few sessions which made me. reluctant to plan another.#n i felt bad bc this is my very first time dming and im not really very good at it yet n i dont think they enjoyed it much either #but i was reading through the dms guide while the power was out yesterday n im ideally gonna spend my days off planning #so that whenever someone decides they wanna play ill at least be prepared #and ill have like. future shit done too #oaks gf was asking me questions abt my world n was excited that it was entirely homebrewed but it made me Really self conscious abt it hfhsf #i need to work on like actual lore as well bc ive got like one big event that effects the actual campaign but not much beyond that #ive just barely mapped the continent and its major cities on world anvil #n i have to give them basic lore before i forget #n i figured id start with the province theyre in #but idk idk im like. not very good at this yet and dming made me more comfy with being in character so im also dying to play #ive got a sorcerer i wish i could play bc i really like their subclass n think it could be interesting #idk idk i cant get any better at dming without practice but i also cant practice if im not doing a good job <3 #speaking #dnd
