Repaint of a jewelry box lid for my mom, she asked for it to be in gold and black and have a leopard on it to match my grandmother's aesthetic.
#traditional art#painting#it got wet like 10 years ago and since its made of particle board it expanded and the vaneer melted off#it used to have a butterfly on it but it broke off and cracked in half#ive had the lid painted blue bc i always intended to repair it and never got around to it#i only now got it done because my mom started dropping hints she was disappointed it was damaged and ugly#not super proud of this but its fine my main problem is not being able to center the leopard better but oh well.
