Yandere Batfamily x Neglected & "Immortal" Reader 》 III
Part I Part II Part IV
Took me so long to figure out how the rest of the story could go XP Also, I've seen how some of y'all want the reader to become a vigilante/villain :) It is definitely possible but not with the current story idea I have in mind. Maybe one day, I'll make a side story where the reader becomes a vigilante/villain
CW: Violence (Bar Fight), Stalking, Blood, "Death"
It has been a few weeks since you moved into Bludhaven and Nightwing being your nighttime companion
He always comes over to your apartment with a couple of injuries and asks to stay a bit
With Nightwing’s instructions, you learn to bandage injuries to help the hero
Maybe it’s because your mental wounds from your neglectful family are still fresh, but Nightwing quickly started to grow on you.
It just feels nice to have a friend while adjusting to your new life.
It also could be because he actually came to the rescue when you were attacked
This does make you wonder why Batman didn’t save you in Gotham but who knows what that big guy does.
Another thing you wonder about sometimes is who Nightwing is.
You were never really curious about the vigilantes in Gotham, even though four well-known vigilantes resided there.
Ever since you met Nightwing, you tried doing some research on him but you immediately stopped when you saw the words “Richard Grayson” in an article.
While the batfamily would be more than happy to stay in Bluvenon so they can meet you, Gotham needed them. (Also they may overwhelm you)
Because of this, the family (except Dick and Jason) return home where more plans are made.
Jason decided that he will be the next person you meet and he won’t take no for an answer.
There is one problem though, you’ve seen Jason with his Red Hood attire
You may not have connected the dots at the time but you definitely will when you see him again.
After debating with Dick, Jason finally agrees to primarily watch you from a distance
In an attempt to meet more people, you decided to participate in some summer events that your college was hosting
You make a couple of friends and go out together
College classes are just around the corner and your friends suggested going out to a bar
This is a special moment so you decide to go with them
You all made plans on the designated driver and kept an eye out for your drinks
When you go to the bar, it's almost sunset.
This is your first time drinking but you trust your friends to keep you safe. (You ended up hating the taste)
Unknown to you, Jason is watching you from outside of the bar
If it was Dick’s turn to watch over you, he’d drag you back to your apartment.
Jason just allows you to have your fun time with friends, getting lost in how happy and innocent you seem.
This all crashes down when a fight suddenly happens right next to you
You and your friends try to get away from the scene but you're suddenly knocked to the ground
A drunk person slams a glass of alcohol next to you, probably mistaking you for someone else, which gives you a ton of small cuts.
Jason quickly puts on his mask and breaks into the bar. He beats up any drunk person who tries to stop him from reaching you.
Your sober friend tries to pull you away from the fight but is worried about all of your cuts
Red Hood suddenly appears to drag you and your friend away from the fight.
The fight gets worse and some random person seems to have called the ambulance
When the ambulance arrives, your sober friend hands you over to them and Red Hood disappears
You’re given a few bandages before the medic has to focus on another injured individual
In your dizzy state, you manage to slip away to stop the ringing in your ears
Something in you also told you it wasn’t safe to go to the hospital
Walking through an alley, your bandages seem to loosen and you eventually collapse on the ground from blood loss
Red Hood steps away for a second and you suddenly disappear.
He didn't want to be seen by the ambulance so he got onto a nearby rooftop to update Nightwing on the situation.
At least you didn't get far but the blood pooling under you slowly grows. This would be the second time you died
Nightwing appears and finds you wrapped up in a jacket while Red Hood picks you up off the ground.
One of the walls of the alley seems to have gotten a hole from Red Hood punching it out of frustration
Getting closer, Nightwing can see that you were given fresh bandages before being wrapped up in Red Hood’s jacket.
Also, you’re still breathing!
Seeing that you may still be alive, you’re taken to Nightwing’s apartment
Red Hood places you on the bed while Nightwing contacts Batman.
After one final look over and a blanket thrown over your body, Red Hood joins Nightwing in the living room
You slowly wake up in an unknown room and immediately sit up
The first thing you notice is how dark the room is
Squinting a bit, you find a lamp on the nightstand and turn it on
You find yourself in a bedroom with a blue and black color palette
There’s a desk in front of the bed with two computer monitors
You turn on the computer to see the date and immediately recognize a name
Richard Grayson
The name is enough to fill you with annoyance but you try to stay focused
How did you get here? Are you back in Gotham? Back at the manor?
You go to the bedroom door to find a living room instead of a hallway
Maybe you were still in Bludhaven?
This room definitely looks like it belongs to Dick
You never found his room in the manor but you did learn about some of his interests when you tried to befriend him (Alfred had to tell you all this)
As you finish snooping around the bedroom, a sound from the other room makes you freeze up
You quickly turn the light off, lay back on the bed, close your eyes and pretend to be sleeping
There are some voices in the living room but it's hard to hear past the sound of your racing heartbeat
Your heart almost stops when you hear the bedroom door open and the voices get louder.
At least you can actually understand what they’re saying now
They mention Batman, Robin, Demon Spawn, and other things you don't understand.
Maybe this was Dick and his friend talking about vigilantes? Though…one of them sounds familiar….
Your train of thought is cut off by someone putting their wait on the bed and running their hand through your hair
To distract yourself, you try to recognize the voice the best you can. Could it be Nightwing? Does Dick know him?
A kiss is placed on your forehead before the two people leave the bedroom.
After waiting a couple of moments, you open your eyes and confirm that you’re alone.
You slowly slip out of bed to try to listen to hear more of their conversation.
It seems that they called someone because there are new voices but it isn't that clear
The conversation begins to scare you as they talk about you.
Calling you their sibling/daughter and status on how your injuries were healing
Based on what is being said, you figure out that five vigilantes know quite a bit about you…
Deciding that you’ve had enough, you find a way to sneak out of the apartment
Looking out the window, it looks like you're a few floors high.
You carefully open the window as quietly as you can and peek outside to find a fire escape just one window away
You must be lucky because you reach the stairs safely and immediately start going down the stairs
The sun is about to rise and you realize that you don't know where you are
You run around for an unknown amount of time before finding a bus stop
There isn't any money on you so you just pick up a map for the bus route
Looking over the map, you’re able to find a familiar street before finally making it home
It took you a long time to get a new key because you basically had nothing on you but eventually, you were able to finally collapse on your bed
You fall asleep immediately
By the time you wake up, it is night again
Getting up, you start making yourself some food while some research on vigilantes
Focused on finding answers, you’re able to connect the dots on who the vigilantes are based on your information from when you lived in the manor
At some point, a knock is heard from your window
On instinct, you walk over to your window and open your curtains
Seeing Nightwing and his dumb smile fills you with rage. Which you are more than happy to let him know
You close your curtain and can faintly hear Nightwing trying to talk to you from the other side of the window
Well, it seems that you now know their identity
Jason saw and heard you run off. He and Dick were about to follow but Bruce told them to not follow you
The next night, Jason watch you reject Dick as he tried to pretend last night didn’t even happen
But it seems you weren’t having any of it
Dick returns to Jason, dejected
A new plan would have to be made, and Tim knows exactly how to get back on track

I II III IV V
By the next week, you’re a flurry of emotions. Mostly, you’re nervous.
Nail bitingly nervous.
You’re not sure how it’s got this bad, to the point where you’re scared to attend your own class- but you’ve been in this for three years now, and you’re not about to give up at the last stretch.
You refuse. You’d be damned if you let a man get in the way of your dream, your degree or anything you wanted to achieve.
You wrap your denim coat around you, teeth lightly chattering as you make your way over to the classroom.
“Hey, wait up,” you turn, looking over your shoulder. It’s a guy, you’re pretty sure is from your class, but you don’t really pay enough attention to know for certain.
He smiles at you as he catches up and you can see his breath in the cold dark morning. “I uh, I just wanted to say hi,” he says and you raise an eyebrow. This was doing absolutely nothing for you.
You round the corner to class in an awful silence, thankful when you see Molly waiting there for you, coffee in hand. Her head practically snaps towards the guy walking next you, but you just shake your head as you walk up to her.
“Good morning beautiful, coffee?” She asks, holding yours out while evil eyeing the guy stood half in the doorway, waiting.
“Who is that?” Molly whisper yells, taking a sip from her coffee, eyes never leaving him. You shrug, warming your hands on your own.
“Not a clue, he just wanted to say hi apparently,”
“That’s a shame,” Molly begins, raising her voice. “Too bad you’re spoken for,” both eyebrows raise as you look over your shoulder, seeing the guys shoulders slump as he enters the classroom. Your ears are scarlet red from the cold, but also the embarrassment.
You’d kinda forgot Rafe existed until Molly said that, and now you were back to feeling all nervous and shitty about going into class.
Molly grins, linking her hand into your own as she leads you into the classroom too, seeing the guy sat at the very back, at the top. You don’t give him much thought, mind already clouded with rafe, when you both take a seat on the bottom row again.
Speaking of- Rafe is sat at his desk, legs crossed onto the desk, head in a book. He’s got a blue knitted sweater on and some dark dress pants on.
“He looks yummy,” Molly whispers, nudging your arm. You sigh, observing the way he thumbs the page at the top of the book. With the way you were acting, anyone would think that you were as in love with him as the next person.
With that, you weren’t sure.
The last few students flutter into class and you look around, not spotting Kendra. Her minions are here, but no top bimbo.
Rafe closes his book, a noise you notice immediately as you turn back around, to see his eyes already boring into your own- for what feels like forever, like he’s trying to read you, before he looks away, smiling and clearing his throat.
“Welcome in guys, don’t worry, I’ve got the heating on,” a few laughs come from around the room as Rafe moves from around his desk to come stand at the front of it.
“So, we’re nearing the end of this first chunk of content- so I thought I’d give you an actual test this time. See how you’re all doing. Yes, you will be graded.” A chorus of groans.
You watch as Rafe crosses his arms over his chest and despite the sweater, you can still see his biceps- flexing as he laughs at everyone’s pity party. He reaches behind him, grabbing an even thicker stack of paper compared to the last one, and begins handing them out. He throws two on your table for you and Molly before moving onwards, not even giving you a second look.
“What was that?” Molly asks and you shrug, completely confused yourself.
“Okay guys,” Rafe begins as he stands back at the front of the class. “You get sixty minutes. No more, no less, starting now.”
The classroom falls silent as you open the first page of the paper, the material completely engraved in your mind. It doesn’t take you long to get halfway through the paper, trying to remember that you have to explain more how you got your answer, when someone taps you on the shoulder.
You turn, seeing the girl behind you beckoning hushed with a note, trying to do so without Rafe seeing. You take it, confused as you briefly look around the room. The guy from earlier slightly waves at you, grinning as he mouths for you to open it.
You turn back, cheeks burning as you unfold the piece of scrap paper.
I don’t care if you’re spoken for. I’d like to take you on a date.
Tobey
Molly taps your leg and you turn the note so she can see it, and it doesn’t take two seconds before she’s turning around and shooting him the evils. You don’t even get time to send back a no when the note is snatched out of your hand, Rafe bringing it up to read.
His eyes glance over the piece of paper before looking down at you and you shake your head- you do not want to get kicked out of class for this. There’s something behind his eyes as he looks up and spots Tobey, who’s doing anything but look now he’s been caught.
“Tobey Brown,” Rafe says, voice commanding. Everyone albeit stops what they’re doing at glances between the two, as Tobey catches Rafe’s eyes.
“Why are you passing notes in a test?” Rafe asks and Tobey shrugs, dropping his pen.
“You’re really gonna get between two students in love?” Tobey snickers, causing some of the people in the classroom to laugh. Rafe’s eyes dart down to your own as if confirming with you, to which you shake your head. He nods, looking back up at Tobey.
“You bet your ass I am. You’re disqualified from this test and you’ll receive zero points. Leave my classroom now.” You can hear Tobey scoff.
“You can’t do that,” he sounds unsure in himself, but Rafe only grins.
“I can, and I am. You don’t pass notes during tests- especially to girls who don’t want them,” a few more people laugh in the class and you look back to see Tobey’s eyes burning into you as he grabs his things. He doesn’t say a further word as he huffs out of the classroom, slamming the door behind him.
“Back to your tests guys, twenty minutes left,” Rafe says, crumpling up the note and throwing it into the trash can next to his desk.
The twenty minutes fly by, and it’s not long before Rafe is stood at the front of his desk, collecting papers from everyone as they leave. This time, you’re not the last one to leave as you pass him your paper, hoping he won’t say anything- but he does.
“Hey, mind staying back for a quick chat?” You nod, standing off to the side as everyone leaves, Molly included. She doesn’t go without a wiggle of her eyebrows and it makes you giggle, as Rafe shuts the classroom door.
He takes a seat back at his desk and you walk over, standing in front. “So, where were you last week?” He asks, folding his arms over his chest.
“I uh, wasn’t feeling too well,” you lie. You know he knows you’re lying too, you can see it in his eyes. He nods, leaning forward, and you can see him swallow.
“That uh, Tobey Brown kid, you’re not seeing him are you?” The question shocks you, and you’re sure it’d slap you in the face if it could.
“Why do you care if I am?” A flash of anger reaches across his face, before it disappears again, replaced with a look of discomfort.
“I’m not saying- I just don’t think he’s a good kid,” kid. The word sinks in like bricks in a pool, heavy and hard. If he thought Tobey was a kid- what did he think of you?
You were the same age as Tobey afterall. It put everything you thought into question- was he just an overly affectionate guy to his students? Or was he a creep. You bite your tongue instead of asking.
Rafe can sense a change in your mood, like you’re lost deep in thought- so he stands, beckoning for you to follow him into his office. He grabs your paper, opening the door.
You follow. Like you’re on autopilot, you follow him. You take a seat at the all too familiar chair as he takes a seat from across you, placing the paper between you.
He doesn’t open it. You’re wondering why, basking in the silence between the two of you when he speaks.
“Are we going to review my paper?” your eyes meet his own. He’s lax, sat back in his seat, arms crossed on his chest and his legs sit wide open under the table. They don’t quite touch yours, not yet.
“Yes, yes we are. I’m gonna tell you what’s wrong and you’re gonna re figure it out,” he tells you, smile watched into his features as he leans forward. He opens the paper, scanning through it as he looks for something you’ve done wrong.
You’re looking too, waiting for when he stops- and when he finally does, you’re embarrassed. It’s an easy question, that you were positive you’d got right. Rafe places the paper in front of you, finger jabbing the spot where you’re supposed to be looking before passing you a pen.
“You’ve gone wrong at some point during this, and I want you to figure out how,” he says, leaning back again. You nod, tucking a piece of hair behind your ear before leaning down and looking at the question.
It doesn’t take you long to get frustrated, getting the same answer over and over again. You whine, looking up at Rafe who’s watching you with amusement. “I can’t figure it out,”
“Why not? What’s confusing you?” His voice is cool, slicing right through your thoughts and you completely forget what you were going to say.
“I don’t know, I get the same answer every time,” rafe nods, standing from his chair. He’s round the desk in no time, leaning over you and looking at your reworkings of the question.
Your lungs stop working. You can’t breathe, eyes darting down at your slightly shaking hand as he’s all in your space. His presence feels so inviting, warm musky smell going right through your nostrils despite the lack of breathing you’re able to do.
He jabs the page again, causing your eyes to flutter over where he’s looking. He takes the pen from your hand, crossing out one of your workings and replacing it with his own. It changes the entire equation, giving a complete different answer from the one you had.
You feel so stupid. The pen drops to the paper and Rafe leans in closer. “Do you get it now?” He whispers, breath hot and heavy on your neck, causing you to shiver.
You nod, slowly, feeling his back against the back of your head as it tips backwards with your nod. Both his hands splay on the desk around you, caging you in.
“Yeah? Explain it to me,” he drawls, and you feel the heat crawl up your neck. If he could, he’d see your face bright red.
“I uh- I fucked up with one of my last equations which sent me in the wrong direction- it should’ve uh, been m equals 15x and not m equals 16x. I’m not sure where the extra number came from,” you whisper, gulping as he leans in even closer, if possible.
“Good. I knew you’d get there eventually, sweetheart.” You thought, when you first saw this man two weeks ago, you wouldn’t be like everyone else in class. He was a pretty face, the new chew toy for all the girls in class. You’d have thought- you wouldn’t be bothered by his voice, or his muscles, or his face- but boy, was he testing you.
You turn in the chair, looking up at him as he’s already staring down at you. You can feel it, feel the need, as neither of you move an inch. Just staring. You couldn’t deny how attractive he was, especially this close. His eyes break away from your own and down to your lips, before looking back up at you. There’s something there, glinting behind his blue irises.
He moves closer. If this were anywhere else, there wouldn’t be that nagging in the back of your head that this were wrong. He’s your teacher- but, the other side argues that he’s just an assistant- but god, you’d be damned if you weren’t feeling this right now. In this moment, he’s not your teacher. This is something else.
His eyes dart down to your lips again and it feels like you’ve been here for a millennia before he whispers, “fuck it.”
And suddenly, you’re kissing. He leans in closer, hands grasping your cheeks as you try to turn in the seat even more, grasping at his sweater. He kisses you like he’s got no oxygen, hands swiping up to push your hair behind your ears.
You moan slightly as his teeth scrape your bottom lip, fingers wrapping around his neck and scraping your fingers through the buzzed hair there. Rafe groans, pulling you up from the chair and pushing it out of the way. His hands make their way down to your waist, pushing you backwards towards the desk. You reach up, sitting on the desk, lips still locked onto Rafe’s.
One of his hands wrapped around your waist, the other splays on top your thigh just at the edge of your dress. You can feel his hand slipping behind your denim jacket, onto the small of your back as he pulls you towards the edge of the desk and you open your legs for him, allowing him to slot in between.
He groans, pulling away from you. He’s breathing heavy, lips swollen, and you can only imagine what you look like if he still looks that good.
He looks down between the two of you, letting out a heavy sigh. “You’re killing me, fuck.” His fingers play with the edge of your dress, chest heaving. You move a hand up the back of his head, feeling the buzz before pulling him back in for another kiss.
He accepts, capturing your lips again, hand slipping underneath your dress. He’s sliding his fingers over the sensitive part of your thigh, getting closer and closer to where you know you’re positively soaked, because of him.
And then reality hits. Like a freight train, it hits. You’re in his office, kissing your teacher. Kissing a twenty seven year old man. You pull back, shaking your head as the foggy mush finally leaves. Rafe’s look is questioning but he pulls back, hands leaving you colder than previously.
“I just- I don’t know, I think this is-” Rafe nods, face turning to stone. He fully pulls away from you, standing to the side as he sorts his pants out.
“Yeah, I’ll see you tomorrow for class.” He doesn’t look at you and you wonder what you’ve done wrong, but he doesn’t say another word as you grab your bag, silently leaving the office.
As you reach your car, you can’t help but feel you’re made a mistake- uncomfortable heat between your legs and heavy head unable to think straight. You don’t know really, what actually just happened- but you know Molly was right.
You definitely wanted more. It makes you wonder why you stopped in the first place, freezing up like you did the time before. You’ve never had a man make you this nervous, ever.
But the way that he reacted when you stopped? It wasn’t good. Like he thought you regretted it or something, when you didn’t. You were just confused.
As you turn the ignition, you run your hands over your face. You weren’t sure what you’d got yourself into, but this was far from over.

Sleep
a/n did this need to be this long? No. But is it impossible to not make everything slightly sexual with these eepy boys? Yes. Someone needs to take my phone away. I also have exhaustion fever so this is actually a fever dream. Edited version.
summary: Sleep token with a model reader (preferably fem, but you can totally make it gn) like she's not a famous model, but like she's good at what she does and so eepy boys are like, "ooh they make good sht what if we hire her for an album cover or something"
warning: slightly sexual….?
sleep token boys x reader
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
“You’re looking at her like she’s the last supper," ii snorted after a while of watching Vessel practically drool over you. The post-show gatherings were rare. Well, the ones where the team could bring plus ones were. Boys usually stuck around for a quick photo, their way of showing how much they appreciated everyone’s work before they disappeared into the privacy of the back rooms. But not today. And for the very first time, it felt worth it.
“She might be," iii snickered, his eyes equally as pleased with the sight in front of him. “Let me clean your drool”, iv brings a napkin towards Vessel’s lips, one that the lead singer is quick to push away. “She would fit the next album," it’s barely a whispers, but they all fix their gaze on you now.
“I’ve seen her around," iii mutters, trying to think where it was, but the sea of people after a while just goes mushy. “Yeah, because you’ve been liking her pictures," iv says, crossing his arms over his chest. “As if that’s not weird. How the fuck would you know that?”, but the look iii shoots at his bandmate is met with a middle finger. "Vess, we already have the shoot planned for Friday”, ii is quick to interfere. He is always the most put-together one, making sure the plan stays where it should, once the ground rules are placed. "Yeah, but I don’t like what we got," Vess waves his hand around, “We need her," and here it is, no longer a maybe but the tone of a man who had set his mind.
“She could be sleep”, it’s almost a plea as Vess looks among the guys. “Look at her." Crocking his head to the side, Vess once again lets himself shamelessly admire you. “The hair, the skin, and the eyes, look at her eyes." As if feeling all four sets of eyes burning into your skin, you finally glance their way. And it’s as if, with your gaze alone, you had set off the panic. “Don’t look, don’t look," Vess hisses, head down, with iii grasping for his beer that nearly slipped through his fingers. “How old are we, three?”, iv hisses, placing his bottle down, before stepping forward. "Ivy," Vess catches his arm, but iv only gives him a serious look before adding, “This is creepy; we need to go talk to her, not gawk like a pack of creeps”.
You watch him approach you. The confidence oozing off him feels infectious. As if the whole room is pulsing to the beat of him. "Hey," he says as he slides down the booth to get closer to you. "Hi," you greet him, smiling, as you shoot him a little wave. “Never seen you before," his voice is smooth, steady, and perky enough to make you guess that he’s smirking beneath the mask. “Is that why you were staring?”, you ask, watching his eyes. He chuckles lightly before lifting his hands up, “Caught red-handed." And you can’t help but chuckle alongside him.
“I don’t know if you know...", iv starts after a moment. "Who you are?", you finish for him, and he visibly halts. Because that had been exactly what he was going to ask. “I do; I’m friends with Sam," you point to the man in question, who’s posing for a picture with a mask as well.
“Lucky son of a bitch," iv mutters, watching him for a moment before pulling his gaze back to you. A slight silence falls. “Join us for a drink," he says, nodding towards the table he came from. You gaze there, earning a salute from ii. iii just lifts his bottle up. It’s Vess, whose eyes you can’t see, but you know that they are set on you. “Is this a kidnapping?”, you look up at iv. “Most definitely," he nods, and you’re quick to follow his actions. “Alright then.”
It feels as if an unexpectedly found puzzle piece that fit to Vess as he watches you in the glass little pool. The mesh material of your dress is soaked and floating all around you. And the rain installation slowly turning from clear to pitch black. Drowning you out in darkness. “That’s it," he hears the director shout, “Look up." But Vessel doesn’t even look at the actual footage the camera is getting; his gaze is glued on you. An actual vision in front of him.
“She’s fucking good; you've got to give her that," ii mumbles as he too watches the shoot. All of them are here. They were never here for shit like this, but today they were almost first. “I need a picture with her; can we get her in some promo shit too?”, iii once again pushes the narrative he had been trying to shove down everyone’s throats the moment you agreed. “She might not want to," Vess trails off. “Have you asked?”, iii nudges him, like a kid who’s not getting the exact candy he was looking for.
“Can you get horny from watching someone…", iii changes his tone, but iv is quick to clasp a hand over his mouth. “If you make her feel weird, I will de-ball you myself," he hisses, giving him a little shove. The crew helps you step out before someone is quick to drape a dry towel over your shoulders. “Here to investigate your investment?”, you shoot them a smile, surprised to see them here. Mostly because everyone reassured you that they would not be here.
“I like to follow the process," Vessel blurts out. “Hope it’s up to your liking," you mutter right as he brushes the strand of hair away from your face. “More than exceeded my expectations." His words throw you off center for a heartbeat before a smile spreads across your face. “Mind taking more pictures?”, iv nods your way. Your shoulders sag lightly as you glance at the screen, “You don’t like these?” “Oh shit, not like that, I mean with us," he quickly adds. You look at them. Blinking slowly. “But you... you don’t take pictures like that," you frown slightly. You’ve read through the papers their management sent out this morning. There was the underlined part that said no content regarding bad members would be taken. “Just feel like changing shit up," Vess glances at the setup. “This won’t do, but I have an idea.”
What follows after that is a slight madman frenzy. You watch Vess explain exactly what he wants from the production team. Going as far as scribbling the placement of objects on paper. “Is he always like this?”, you ask after a moment. “Passionate?”, ii ask, and you’re quick to nod. “When inspiration strikes, yes," iii nods along. “He pretty much fell out of a second-floor bunk in the middle of the night once because a lyric came up in his head and he had nowhere to write it down." A chuckle slips from ii’s lips, and you can’t help but glance at him. Having him be so talkative feels like a gift in a way. “That’s beautiful," you muse, “loving something so much." The boys simply hum in response before the makeup and clothes department ushers them in.
“Vess will direct it from now; follow his lead; and don’t overthink it," the lady walking you back on stage, brushes your hand in reassurance. The place is a lot dimmer now. Yet the lights reflect off the water just as beautifully. There’s a drum set in the middle of the set, with extra support beams intact too. You frown slightly as you hand the tower off to your makeup artist. “Do you mind lying down?”, Vessel asks. “In the water?”, you ask, but Vess is quick to shake his head. “On the drums." You swallow, glancing at ii, who’s already standing by his seat. "Sure," you breathe out, stepping onto the rearranged platforms. His eyes follow your every move, and he’s quick to gesture to his chair, no doubt as a step stool for you to get on.
“Let me help you," ii says, taking hold of your hands before steadying your steps. “Won’t I break it?", you ask, looking at the drums. “It’s a fake; even if it breaks, it doesn’t matter." The smoothness of II's voice sends shivers down your spine as you step onto the drums before slowly lowering yourself down. ii’s hands stay nearby, you can feel their warmth but not their touch. Your eyes lock right as you sprawl out. Letting the top of your body bend over the set.
"Fuck." It’s so quiet and low that you’re sure you’ve imagined it. Someone warns you about the water before your body and the drums are drenched. “I’ll only hit the plates; don’t get spooked out," ii warns you, yet you don’t have a chance to answer. The drizzle picks up, you gaze up, meeting his eyes, and the sound around you erupts, alongside the flashes of the camera. It goes like that for a couple of minutes. It feels like forever and then a blink of your imagination. And then you’re being pulled back up. “Good?”, ii mutters. You nod, and he mimics your movement. “Good. It will be hard not to see you every time I look at my drums now," he admits before stepping aside, the prep team swarming all around you. Making your head dizzy.
Someone’s saying something about how sets with guitars will be less challenging, and you catch the sight of iii stepping on with a mask you hadn’t yet seen. “Scary?”, he chuckles. "No," you say, shaking your head, feeling slightly breathless. “It’s... mesmerizing." He lets out a low laugh. “That’s a first." And within a heartbeat, you’re sitting in the water with iii towering over you. Your hands are snaking up his legs and lower stomach as you arch your head up to watch his face. There’s no way to read his emotions. However, the vein in his neck says enough. You’re aware of the flashes, but it’s as if that part of reality is not there. iii’s body disappears after a while, and then he’s right there, inches from your face, leaning forward to look right at you.
iv strolls in almost immediately after. Sharing a look with iii as they pat each other on the shoulder. And then the man built on confidence is right in front of you. “Care for a cuddle?”, he muses, sitting down in the water and spreading his legs apart. You just stare at him. Feeling your head spin. “Do I need to sit you down?”, he shoots you a daring look, and you instantly sink to your knees. “You minx," he says, shaking his head, “Come on, lean against my chest." You follow his lead, sliding between his legs and letting your back rest against his chest. He pulls his guitar in front of you two. Your fingers slip onto his thighs, then slowly upon his arms and towards his guitar. Before you look up, to find his blue orbs watching you with unmatched insanity. “Get why you left II and III in shambles now," he says, ever so slightly brushing his masked lips against your ear.
You feel in a trance by the time you see Vessel standing behind his keyboard stand. “Do you mind?”, you’re not sure what exactly he’s referring to, but you shook your head. And then you instantly regret not asking because his hands are around your waist as he lifts you onto the keyboard. You let out a slight shriek, and his face instantly turns to you. “It’s okay, it’s okay; just didn’t expect that," you’re quick to reassure him. “Just do what feels natural," Vess mutters before turning to step in front of the keyboard. You pull one of your legs up, bending it beneath you, and turn slightly so you can face him better. His fingers move over the keys, head down. You watch him for a moment before slowly reaching out. Fingers brushing the exposed part of his face before ever so slightly inching beneath the mask as you turn his face towards you. Trying to figure out why a man of such talent and power wasn’t all that quick to take control.
“How much freaky is too freaky?”, you ask him. Vess crocks his head to the side before asking, “Have you seen us on stage?” You smirk, bring your other leg over the keyboard, spreading your legs enough to make room for Vessel to stand in between. “Own it then," you say, reaching for his hands, moving one to your hip and placing the other in the middle of your chest. “The question here is, what keys are you playing, Vess?” You stare right at him before leaning back. He’s quick to steady you. Leaving his hands where you had placed them before lifting the one resting on your chest up as if he’s pulling your soul out of your body, right as you arch your back. “Fucking vision, fucking sleep," Vess grunts under his breath, drinking in the sight of you.
The photograph shouts cut, and you let yourself breathe for a moment before holding onto Vessel’s forearms as you pull yourself up. “You are something else," he grunts, helping you down, and you can tell that his hands linger. “They do say that I’m good at what I do." You wink at him. “Wrapping four grown men around your finger, you mean?”, he smirks at you before nodding to the side. You glance up only to find three sets of eyes looking at you as if you had been a vision sent by god, or maybe the devil himself.

WRATH & LUST . t.kei / y.tadashi
synopsis ✧ you hate tsukishima kei. you do everything in your power to make his life miserable but nothing works. now you have no choice but to fuck his best friend
cws/tags ✧ college au , enemies to enemies who screw, cursing, fob, smut, vaginal, oral (recieving) & praise — minors dni
parts ✧ i. ii. iii. iv.
maybe you were overexaggerating a bit when you said that yamaguchi is always with tsukishima, because there are a couple times a week when you know they'll be apart.
your friend is a part of the college's newspaper club, and she mentioned that yamaguchi is a member too, but tsukishima isn't. this gave you the perfect opportunity to the catch him alone and prey on his weakest form.
you saunter up to the news room, and catch yamaguchi waiting outside. they don't usually enter until your friend, the chief editor, arrives. "excuse me?"
your voice is soft and inviting, hence yamaguchi is stunned when he turns to see you. his guard is up, but unlike tsukishima, he doesn't immediately resort to aggression, "yes?" he replies quietly.
"is this the newspaper society?" you ask innocently, tilting your head with a smile.
yamaguchi is unsure as to why you are being so mellow towards him, considering your history, but as he chokes back a gulp, he figures that maybe your negative sentiments are purely towards tsukishima and up until now he has just been caught in the crossfire.
"yes, this is. i'm waiting for the editor to get here."
"oh, hana?" your lips are parts slightly, as he nods, "she is my friend. i'm sure she won't mind if we just go in."
"are you sure?" his questions is basically answered as he watches you enter the news room. he hesitantly follows behind, thinking he can shift the blame onto you if the chief editor is upset.
"so, are you a member? i've never seen you here before." he asks while fidgeting with his hands, taking a seat in his usual spot.
"no, not yet. i want to join though which is why i'm here." you sit near yamaguchi, on the table, "but i hear you're full. could you put in a good word for me, tadashi?"
you giggle. bafflement and wary burn at his face, dusting his cheeks a slight pink, "if you're friends with hana then i'm sure you don't need me to talk you up to her."
"well, yeah, but she's reluctant to let me join because, in her words, i can be 'volatile and confrontational'." you muse, legs swinging lightly as you turn to look at yamaguchi with a knowing smirk, "i'm so not, though. you can vouch for me, right?"
yamaguchi blinks, then responds, "yeah. you're the most docile person i know."
you find it cute that he plays along with your jokes. plus, now that you're actually taking a good look at him, you realise he has such a sweet, squishable face. how does the sweetest boy ever end up in the company of lucifer incarnate?
"i wouldn't say docile. that's too far-fetched." you tease.
"mild?"
"eh."
"poise?"
"i like that one but still no."
"composed?"
"that could work!" you cheer, displaying the palm of your hand he insantly reciprocates with a high-five. just as your shared laughter begins to die down, hana and a couple other members of the newspaper society enter the room.
you spend the rest of the hour in the back of the room, working on an article with yamaguchi. your friend knew about your plan, and she didn't mind you utilising her society to achieve your end goal, but you'd hate to impede on her work flow for too long so you pulled out all the stops to ensure you gain tadashi's favour as quickly as possible.
and it worked like a charm. despite never having communicated directly with each other before, you chatted throughout the whole hour like you were lifelong best friends. there was an undeniable chemistry between the two of you — the sweet and sour.
plus, you both have a lot more in common than you may have initially thought. your music tastes are very similar, surprisingly, and you like the same movies/shows. he shows you a couple of his playlists and you do the same, discussing the concerts you've been to and what merchandise you have.
you learned that he is studying to be an electronic engineer while tsukishima is studying history, but he chose maths electives just so they could be in a couple of classes together. they also used to do volleyball together in highschool and are both apart of the volleyball society in college.
so corny and so cheesy but coming from the mouth of yamaguchi, it was the sweetest, most moving story of friendship you've ever heard.
even when meeting ended, you both still walked together out of the building, blathering away about anything and everything, it comes to an abrupt holt when you reach the building's exit.
perplexed, yamaguchi asks, "which way are you going? if you want, i could walk you to your bus stop?"
you smile awkwardly, pretending to be sheepish about the proposition despite it being exactly what you anticipated, "i would love that. but i don't think tsukishima would be too delighted to see us together."
yamaguchi frowns at the reminder but nods.
"but," you continue, pulling a pen and scrap piece of paper from your bag and hurriedly jotting something down, "you can ring me if you ever want to talk. or anything else." you hand it to him with a wink and yamaguchi's throat dies up at your suggestion, he is barely able to croak out an 'okay'.
"see you later!" you skip off and yamaguchi is left speechless behind.
⁀➷
you had warmed up to each other very quickly. texting each other videos, emojis and pictures every other minute. didn't even take two days before you both had a shared playlist. you were up until ungodly hours of the night facetiming each other.
it was so frequent, yamaguchi had to change your contact information to a fake name because he was getting tired of constantly having to hide his phone from tsukishima, since there was bound to be a notification from you on his screen.
"are you gonna buy tickets tonight???" "noooo don't remind me tadashi" "what's the matter ???😧" "wi-fi sucks at my houseee. i never get concert tickets on time. always end up paying resale prices 😤" "you can come to mine if you want! my wifi is good"
you took him up on his offer. you went over to his dorm at 10PM, since tickets when on sale at 11PM in your time zone. (darn international artists!)
it was a blood-bath but by the grace of god you both successfully secured two tickets to see your favourite artist performing live, with seats very close to the stage!
so of course you had to celebrate somehow.
shaky breathes escaped his lips, soft moans intertwined. his shirt had come off, exposing his tan skin to the hot atmosphere of his bedroom. hypnotised by the way your tight cunt sucked needily on his cock, dripping cum all over his bare shaft.
his gaze was only freed from your sex when he was nearing his climax and a sudden bolt of ecstasy wracked through him, causing his eyes to roll back, "so tight, (y/n)." he grunted, grabbing your ass and squeezing it.
he had you sprawled out over his bed face down, while he stood by the edge and fucked you from behind. he gave you a pillow to rest your cute head on so your neck wouldn't hurt, and he held your legs by his sides while he ploughed into you. four years of volleyball practise has its uses.
his pace is relentless but rhythmic; at first he fucked you leisurely, allowing you to appreciate every inch of him as he'd pull out of you excruciatingly slowly, then ease himself back in until his achy tip prodded your cervix. he wasn't doing it to torment you though, just to give you some time to grow accustomed to his length.
it was better that way; your desperate pussy welcomed him instead of trying to force him out. in fact, it clung to him so tightly it was challenging for him to pull out of you, somehow he managed.
as he approached his orgasm, his thrusts became hurried and sloppy, raring to spill inside your sopping pussy. but ever the altruist, he slips his fingers between your legs to press and rub at your clit fervently, "close, baby?"
his cock splits in you half, and your pussy throbs around him. the power with which he rams into you has made you hazy, drooling mess, only able to weakly buck your hips in reciprocation to his thrusts. you try to whine a meek 'yes' but your face is buried in the pillow, thus yamaguchi only hears an unclear, muffled noise.
he furrows his brows and moves his hands up to your waist, "'m gonna flip you over, yeah?" he pants, still fucking you as he talks, "wanna see that pretty face." in a surge of strength and energy, he pulls you off the bed and flips you onto your back, offering you a gentle smile when you lock eyes.
you weakly smile back, about the only autonomy you could exhibit while his cock continued to pound into you, moulding your walls around him. you were losing control of yourself with each thrust; clinging to the sheets and allow a string of lewd moans and profanities spill from your mouth. somewhere in the mix there was his name.
"tadashi.."
your eyes were closed, and your melodious voice called out for him to save you, like he wasn't tucked inside you. hearing you say his name like that — so filthy and obscene — delighted him in ways he didn't know were possible and only urged him closer to his climax. "(y/n), say that again, please."
the wet slapping noises he made against your cunt grew louder; it was a miracle you could still hear his pastel voice. being railed into the plush sheets of his bed, your mind and body were in two different realms, so when you tried to utter his name once more, all that came out was a series of moans and gasps.
"c'mon, (y/n)." he pled, gripping onto your hips like you are his life force, "i need you. be a good girl for me, please."
he punctuated each word with a harsh thrust, brushing your cervix each time and it didn't take much else for you to come crash down around him. spasming and twitching on his dick, your scream echoing through the room while he fucked you through it. your throbbing pussy still being used for his pleasure.
even when you were nearing completion, your pussy still fluttered around him and you squealed, "tadashi!" as the world became hazy and blurred around you.
which was enough to send him hurdling over the edge too. his teeth are gritted together and his hands tense on your waist when he cums inside you. his thrusts waver for only a moment before he temporarily resumes, this time with less vigour and with the sole purpose of milking himself dry inside you.
once he could feel his hot cum packed safely within your walls, he was finally able to gasp for air. he doesn't want to pull out, he's comfortable as he is, but the curious part of him wants to see how his load looks inside you.
he pulls out, only to kneel and examine your glistening hole. too fucked out and sore, you lay on the bed and try to catch your breath, allowing him to push your legs wide open without protest.
"so pretty." he mused, watch as a bit of his cum dribbles out of your pussy and onto your ass. not to worry though, as he uses his two fingers to guide it back inside you. idly, he pushes his fingers inside you and revels at how tight you still are.
"you're perfect." without thinking about it, he curls his fingers inside, then delicately drags them in and out, wrenching a feeble whine from your throat. "do you know how perfect you are?"
he pressed a loving kiss against your clit before poking his head up from between your legs to look at you. "mm" is all you respond with. he chuckles, "that's not a yes or no, baby."
he doesn't dwell on it too long. he'll stop bothering you now by trying to get you to respond to him; you're probably still recovering from your intense orgasm. yamaguchi goes back to admiring your hole, captivated by how his cum has filled you up, and whenever it tries to escape but it is prevented from doing so by his fingers.
"you look so beautiful like this. i wanna burn this image into my brain so i can keep it forever." he kisses your pussy again, french this time. his lips move graciously against your folds and his tongue plunges inside you. you taste so good, so intoxicating, he moans into your skin, the vibrations causing you to gasp. he continues to suck and lick inside your puckered hole, until he gets a taste of himself on his tongue, which causes him to falter and slowly pull away.
"i've never had sex with a girl on the pill before. but this was just.." he can't seem to find the word he's looking for. perhaps it doesn't exist. "amazing. well, that doesn't even cover half of it." he grins foolishly, caressing the inside of your thigh and still gazing at your hole.
"yeah." after lying motionless for a while, you seem to have finally come back down to earth and can form full sentences again. "amitriptyline is great, isn't it?"
"uhuh.." he muses, thinking about how gorgeous you look until what you said finally registers in head and he springs to his feet, "what!?"

Next Chapter
This one is smut...there's really nothing else to say.... There's a lot of self indulgence here. I am so sorry.
The following months were fraught with tension, especially whenever her missions hinted at any involvement with the League of Villains. The delicate and precarious relationship with Touya weighed heavily on her mind, and she was acutely aware of the potential danger it posed not just to herself but to civilians and fellow heroes. Despite her best efforts to avoid him, it was impossible to escape his shadow entirely.
Surprisingly, they bumped into each other a few times after their initial encounter. These meetings were fleeting, marked by brief, silent exchanges of glances rather than words or violence. The first time she saw him again was during one of her nightly walks. The city was shrouded in darkness, and the air was crisp and cold. She was passing through a dimly lit alley when she felt his presence and spotted him from the corner of her eye. Her heart raced as their eyes met. He stood at the far end of the alley; his silhouette framed by the faint glow of a distant streetlamp.
The second encounter was during a mission. She was part of a covert operation to gather intelligence on a rumored League hideout. The abandoned warehouse was eerily quiet, the air thick with anticipation. As she moved through the shadows, she sensed him before she saw him. He was watching her from a distance, his intense gaze burning into her. She froze, her heart pounding in her chest. But just like the previous encounter, he made no move to harm her. He simply watched, his eyes filled with a mixture of intensity and something she couldn't quite decipher.
With each silent encounter, the tension between them grew, a palpable force that was impossible to ignore. The air seemed to crackle with electricity whenever he was near, and she found herself both drawn to and terrified of him. The sexual tension was undeniable, a magnetic pull that she didn't know how to handle. She was even more confused, as along with this sensation, the threat he had made to her loomed over her every thought.
Touya’s physical presence was overwhelming. His tall, lean frame exuded a raw, almost dangerous charisma. His pale skin contrasted starkly with his dark, tousled hair, which framed his angular face. His eyes, a vivid shade of turquoise, were piercing and intense, holding a depth of emotion that belied his villainous persona. The scars that marred his skin only added to his allure, a testament to the pain and suffering he had endured. There was a rugged handsomeness to him, a dark allure that was impossible to resist. His voice, low and husky, sent shivers down her spine whenever she heard it. She had no idea if to attribute these thoughts to the fact that they were fated for each other, or simple raw attraction.
The way he moved was almost predatory, graceful and confident, like a panther stalking its prey. She couldn't help but be captivated by him, despite the danger he represented. Every glance, every fleeting moment they shared was charged with an intensity that left her breathless. The memory of his touch lingered on her skin, a reminder of the night he had threatened her.
This was definitely not something she could talk to Keigo about. It felt shameful to admit her attraction to a villain, but it was also understandable. Touya was her soulmate, her one true match. He was supposed to be the one person who could satisfy her and make her feel something real. The bond between soulmates was supposed to be unbreakable, a connection that transcended all else. But the reality of their situation was far more complicated.
She often found herself lost in thought, replaying their encounters in her mind. The memory of his touch, the intensity of his gaze, the way his presence made her heart race – it was all-consuming. She was caught in a web of conflicting emotions, torn between her duty as a hero and her undeniable attraction to him.
Late at night, she would lie awake, her mind racing with thoughts of him. She could still feel the heat of his hand around her neck, the way his breath had brushed against her skin. It was intoxicating, and she hated herself for wanting more. The thought of him consumed her, filling her dreams and waking moments alike. She yearned for him, despite knowing how dangerous that desire was.
He wasn’t just her soulmate, he was the enemy, the one threatening her students. What would Keigo think? Aizawa? Hell… what would hero society think if they found out?
Yet, she couldn't deny the truth. Touya was her soulmate, and no matter how twisted their relationship, that bond remained. She could feel it in her very soul, a connection that refused to be severed. It was both a blessing and a curse, a source of both strength and torment. She was trapped in a dance with darkness, unable to escape the pull of the man who was supposed to be her other half.
As she navigated her missions and daily life, the tension never fully dissipated. It lingered, a constant reminder of the battle raging within her. She was determined to find a way to reach him, to make him see the truth of their bond. But each encounter left her more confused, more conflicted, and more desperate for answers. The path ahead was uncertain, and the stakes were higher than ever. But she couldn't give up. Not on him, and not on herself.
The last time before the cataclysmic event, she hadn’t gone out looking for him, but they found each other. She was returning from one of her rare midnight patrols, enjoying a can of iced coffee. The city was quiet at this hour, the usual hustle and bustle replaced by an eerie stillness. The streetlights cast long, dim shadows on the empty sidewalks, and the occasional car passed by, its headlights slicing through the darkness.
Tomorrow was Saturday, and she didn’t have to work, but she had a weekly meeting with her best friend and needed to grade some assignments. She sighed, knowing she needed a lot more than a can of iced coffee to keep her going. Lost in her thoughts, she didn’t notice the looming presence that had been tracking her.
She stopped in her tracks and slowly turned to look at the alleyway, carefully adjusting her vision to peer into the dark. The alley was narrow, lined with overflowing dumpsters and scattered debris, the smell of mold lingering in the air. After a couple of seconds, she could start making out his shape. His silhouette was unmistakable, even in the dim light. Then she saw his eyes, two burning points of blue in the darkness. They held each other's gaze, and she felt a lump form in her throat, a mix of fear and pent-up desire.
When she was about to step away, he finally approached her, stopping at the very edge of the alley, right at the line where he would be stepping out into the light. The faint glow from the streetlamp illuminated his features partially, highlighting the intensity in his eyes and the harsh lines of his face. His presence was imposing, and she could feel the heat radiating from his body even from a distance.
She took a sharp breath and braced herself, hoping today wouldn’t be the day she fought him, not in her current state. Her heart pounded in her chest, a rapid drumbeat of anxiety and anticipation.
“I’m not ready to talk, I don’t want to fight, I don’t trust you; I’m tired of the tension,” he said, his voice low and intense. His gaze held her captive, his eyes burning with unresolved emotions. Confused, she scrunched her eyebrows, wondering what she was meant to do. Her heart raced in her chest, the confusion still present.
“Let’s get rid of it,” he added, his words a dark, compelling command. Setting backwars into the alley, almost pulling her to follow him.
And with that, she was convinced. She couldn’t deny the magnetic pull between them, the way his presence stirred something deep within her.
The narrow alleyway provided a cloak of secrecy, shielding them from prying eyes and the hustle of the city beyond. The faint glow of distant streetlights cast eerie shadows against the worn brick walls, adding to the clandestine atmosphere of their rendezvous. The air hung heavy with anticipation, thick with the scent of urban decay and the heady aroma of their shared desire.
The world around them disappeared as their bodies collided with a desperate need that had been building for months, probably years. The alley was a confined space, filled with the mingled scents of the city and their shared passion. The rough texture of the brick wall pressed against her back contrasted sharply with the heat of his body. His touch was both rough and tender, a confusing mix that left her craving more.
He roughtly pulled her sweater to rest above her breast and desperately pulled her bra downward to expose her breast, the sounds she made echoed in the confined space. At that moment, she couldn’t think even if she wanted to. Her mind was a haze of sensation and emotion, a whirlwind of heat and urgency. She could feel every scar, every line of his muscular form, and it drove her wild with a longing she couldn’t control.
Witth heavy breast and a hint of desperating, he lowered his pants to his waist and after urging her to be quick, grabbed her ass, and lifted her up to rest against the wall, held up by his arms; her legs around me. Her shorts and underware carefully dangling from her ankle.
There was something taboo in this clandestine encounter, knowing they were not supposed to be together. She was his enemy; she was his soulmate.
His hand cupped her breast, his fingers tweaking her nipple. A gasp escaped her lips, a shiver running down her spine. It was as if electricity crackled in the air, the atmosphere crackling with tension and anticipation. Sweat dripped down their bodies, mingling between them, a testament to their overwhelming connection.
Heat pulsed through her veins, fueling the ravenous beast within. He whispered obscenities in her ear, probing her with his tongue, and she shivered at the filthy words.
"Fuck me, dammit," she cried out, her hips grinding against him. "Take me."
He echoed the sentiment, his voice raw and primal as he grabbed her and smashed her against the cold, unforgiving wall. The impact sent a jolt of pleasure through her limbs, echoing the primal core of their need.
His length throbbed between them, and with a violent thrust, he entered her. Their bodies moved in a syncopated rhythm, both in harmony and discord, a clash of need and fury.
"God, Touya," she moaned, her voice bouncing off the cold walls of the alley. Her head rolled backwards, hitting the surface with a dull thud. His name on her lips was a mix of love, fear, and lust, an intoxication that tasted sweeter than any drug could.
The pain of his grip on her hip, the primal frenzy of his thrusts as he invaded her: all of it fed that insatiable hunger within her. Her legs wrapped tighter around his waist as she took him deeper, each thrust forcing her closer to the edge.
"You like that?" Touya asked, his voice a low growl, savage and raw. The question sent a chill down her spine, and she couldn't help but nod eagerly. She wanted to give herself to him completely; she was beyond the point of shame or fear.
Her heart raced as he took her, his movements becoming stronger, urgent and intensifying with each passing moment. Her body shuddered around him, her walls clenching around his length as she met his rhythm.
Touya pulled on her hair, forcing her to arch her back, giving him better access to her heaving chest. He bent down to take a hard nipple into his mouth, sucking on it with a greed that made her cry out in pure bliss.
His other hand moved between their bodies, his thumb finding her swollen nub. Pressure and friction, a divine combination she couldn't resist. She bucked her hips, pressing herself harder against him, urging him on as her pleasure mounted.
"Don't stop," she panted. The sound of their bodies moving together reverberated through the alley, mingling with the distant sounds of the city.
Touya continued his sensual assault, driving her to the brink of madness. The tension built inside her, her core ached with anticipation. His moans on her ear were becoming maddening, aiding in the sensitivity and pleasure.
Her body, wet and warm, clung to him. He groaned his satisfaction, his length fully sheathed inside her as he established a hard, insistent rhythm. She could hardly breathe, her ability to form words vanished as her senses heightened to a fever pitch.
The slap of their bodies echoed in the narrow confines of the alley, a reminder of their forbidden union. Her back remained glued to the icy bricks, while his hands roamed her body mercilessly. The mix of hot and cold on her skin sending her farther down her path. She was used to conflicting temperatures on her skin, but this time it made every inch of her body more aware.
He cupped her breasts in his calloused palms, pinching her sensitive nipples with a cruel force that made her gasp. He growled, letting go of one nipple only to grip the other more fiercely. Her breathes quickened, each one panting out in rhythm with her growing need, she could feel herself getting closer, a white hot sensation running though up her spine skin.
"God, Touya, I'm so fucking close," she cried, her voice hoarse. Her body trembled as her lips parted wider, gasping for air, her eyelids fluttering as the orgasm approached. Every thrust making her moans louder.
“Careful, someone might hear the little hero” He grinned, his lips curling up into a wicked smile, hearing her pleas drove him wild. Gripping her hips tight, he buried his thrusts deep inside her, relishing the sensation as his length pounded against her sensitive spot. Pleasure consumed her body as her walls closed around him, wet and greedy, demanding every inch he could give her. He felt her cum on his cock, and he saw her. Her eyes rolled back with one last moan, no, scream; twitching and she desperately looked for something to grab onto.
He had no intentoon oh helping her lower her moans, it wasn’t exactly his problem whow saw. With a mischeavious lick of his lips he grabbed her hips again, knowing she hadn’t finished her orgasm and continued to thrust into her.
He was close to his own orgasm, and he was gonna use her to finish even if she couldn’t take it anymore. He made sure to watch her, sounds wilder and louder as he speed up closing on his own high.
With one deep groan, he attached his teeth to her shoulder, near the baase of her neck, bitting as hard as he could, finishing himself off deep inside her.
"This. Is. Fucking. Insane," she managed to pant as she carefully attempted to catch her breath, she looked into his eyes studying him carefulluy "What are we even doing?" She didn’t understand what she was doing, and to be quite frank, she was yet to figure out how she felt about it… emotionally.
"Savoring. Each. Other." He ground out in response, between his own harsh breaths. His tongue traced the shell of her ear before he nipped at her earlobe. She gasped, her body responding to his touch like he was a drug she couldn't get enough of.
"You liked that, didn't you?" he whispered, his voice thick with desire. She moaned, her legs involuntarily shuttering around him. He pressed himself against her, his hardness throbbing against her core, a reminder of the intimacy they shared and the larger connection that lay between them.
He took in the bite he had left on her, red and angry, and licked it. It was gonna leave a mar, and it was going to bruise; and he wasn’t going to let her forget any of this.
She gruided her hands under his shirt. Her hands trailed between his toned abs and up to his broad shoulders, feeling the muscles underneath ripple. She took the moment, and the opportunity to study his scars, and soutures and how the alternating textures felt on her skin, allowig herself the oportunity to familiarize herself with the warmth of his body, almost memorizing his temperature; who knew when she’d have the oportunity to do this again (more like who knew, if she would allow herself to do this again). It was a moment of intimacy unlike any other, a fleeting connection between two souls bound by fate, one that she increasingly though would never stick.
But even as she reveled in the sensation, permitting herself the moment of intimacy, a part of her couldn't shake the nagging doubt that lingered at the back of her mind. She knew what this was, and the moment he decided he got his fill, she had to run.
She didn’t look up at him, but he studied her carefully, he was just as confused as she was. He had never felt the desire for anyone that he had felt for her, and he needed to know why. Now that he knew, it terrefied him, this wasn’t about love or even wanting to have anything with his soulmate; he just couldn’t stand the tension any longer.
As she leaned back against the brick wall, using it for support, Touya couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt wash over him. He had allowed himself to be drawn into this moment of vulnerability, to let down his guard and succumb to the allure of her touch. And now, as they stood there in the darkness, he couldn't help but wonder what it all meant.
She swallowed, her breath finally staying, as she quickly pulled on her clothes back on properly. She was moving quicker than she though she could and felt her eyes begging to water, finally, after a moment of calm the current reality swallowing her whole.
“Thank you; for…” She used her hands to sort of half haeartedly signal to the encouter; and he looked at her uninterested.
“Leave” he finalized adjusting his own clothes and began to walk away, she didn’t know how to feel or why; and as much as she expected and knew this would be the reaction, it still hurt her.
He himself was confused, but he knew, even if he wanted to belive her, even if he trusted her, even if he begged for it; they could never really be together. He didn’t know if she understood their circumstances, but one day it’s click. He was sure of it.

You’re welcome…
Chapter IV
Matt didn’t like seeing you with Bucky one bit. The thought that you had moved on so ‘quickly’ after him sent his mind into overdrive. He was good at hinting in the shadows, the day he left the bakery beaten and broken he didn’t go to a hospital or return home like he should have, he waited. Watching in the shadows until you inevitably got in your car and drove home, where he followed, rage simmering inside him. He watched from a distance as Bucky ushered you into your house after collected his child. It was the first time he actually saw the kid, and he hated to say it but he felt a tingle inside him, not the warm fuzzy, loving feeling a father should feel when they see their baby for the first time. But one of hatred. The kid he laid his eyes on was the one thing that took you away from him.
So he bided his time. And watched. He learned your routine, your ins and outs of the house, learned how your new play thing never really left your side much. You hadn’t left the house much since the incident but he liked to spot your movements through the house, you almost worked like clockwork, around the house, doing everything for the child, he despised it, that should be him that you were running around for in there, taking care of, cooking for, god he missed your cooking. One thing he hated more though was the way he saw you and Bucky looking at each other, even through windows he could feel the tension, making him want to tear his own eyes out.
He just needed to wait for the perfect opportunity, and that came the night that Sam came and took the kid over to the neighbours house, Matt figured something must be going on, they must be leaving the house, he had a chance, a chance to do what exactly he didn’t know, but he’d figure that out soon enough. He saw your neighbours leave your house, then you and your new man head out looking all dolled up, he couldn’t stand the sight of it, he waited a while longer, waiting for all the lights to shut off next door before making his move, he travelled to the back of the house, hopping the fence, scurrying across the garden until he reached the back door, taking off his leather jacket, balling it around his fist, he smashed the panel of glass closest to the lock, reaching through the newly made hole, flicking the lock open and letting himself into your home.
He took in the scent as he stepped through the threshold. Bergamot and orange blossom tingled in his nostrils, the strong smell instantly reminding him of you. He wondered aimlessly at first, taking in the sight of your home. The warm homey touches that covered every inch of the house, it sickened him. The house was spottles, considering a toddler lived there, but then again, he had trained you well, he didn't like you to be messy, he was glad to see you still kept things tidy just how he liked. Not that he was clean. he ventured up the stairs to find a bedroom t the end of the hall with the word 'Forrest' hung on the door in Buntin. He guessed that was the name of his child, he still didn't know if it was a girl or a boy, you had kept that fact well hidden from him. He stepped towards the room, opening the door with a creek, finding an array of colourful toys, a Peter Pan mural painted on the walls and fluffy cloud lamps and light fixtures. Even the cot bed had been made pristine, this woman was conditioned he thought to himself.
He looked through the small chest of drawers under the changing table fiddling with some of the small shirts when his eye landed on one baby grow in particular, a 'mama's boy' one, it felt like another kick in the teeth to know he had a son, in some sick way to him it felt like another man to take you away from him. He wished you had never ran away, that he had never left that day so he would have been able to sort this whole problem out, there would be no Forrest, and it could just be the two of you again. No he'd have to sort out the Forrest problem another time, when the little bleeder was home.
He came out of the room and closed the door behind him. next finding your bedroom, the room smelt sweet like your perfume, the smell overwhelming him, he walked to your vanity noticing the makeup you had left out, you never wore makeup when you were with him, his mind hurt at the thought of you dressing up to go out with another man, he looked over at the bed, thinking about all the different things Bucky has probably done to you in that bed. Matt stormed out the room and back down the stairs until he found the Kitchen, deciding to wait there for your return, which apparently wouldn't be too long a wait. He heard the front door opening as well as the distinct sound of kissing, the occasional grunt and soft moans from you, He stood in the doorway of the kitchen waiting for you to notice him, only for him to realise you were to caught up to care there was an intruder in your house. He flicked the light on beside him, sparking your fright.
"Well, isn't this cosy?" he spoke smugly, head tilted, sly sile on his face, even with his hand all bandaged up and the dark circles under his eyes, he still acted as though he was God's gift to the earth. before you have a chance to explain yourself Bucky chimes in from his place behind you. arms strong and protective around your waist. "What are you doing here, Matt?" he oozed confidence when he spoke, and almost seemed unbothered. "Just come to take what's mine" Matt sneered, daring to take a step closer, Bucky tightened his hold around your waist as he felt you shiver. "Oh, yeah, and what's that exactly, because I don't think you own anything in this house..." Matt scoffed at his response, there was something wild in his eyes, you just couldn't tell what it was.
"You know, I had a nice look around, Forrest, that the name of my son? You could have picked a better name Y/n really, and leaving him with the neighbours so you can fuck some random guy? You really are a whore" You tore away from Bucky's arms leaping forwards, slapping Matt so hard across the face your hand ached, you could see you had left an indentation on his cheek, the skin flared red and raised slightly. "You don't get to say his fucking name, get out" Matt held his cheek, shocked that you would dare to speak to him that way let alone lash out at him, you had been away from him too long. He lifted his hand up and cupped your cheek in his hand, softly which shocked you, Bucky took a step forwards but soon stopped when he saw you signal him to still. You looked into Matt's eyes, noticing how dead his eyes truly looked. "Come back to me please, I love you. You can leave the kid here and we'll go" It frightened you how fast it was for his emotions to change. You took his hand of your face and let it drop by his side, shaking your head.
"I will never be with you, ever again, you need to understand that Matt, you can't keep doing this, please just leave us alone" You spoke quietly to him, hoping he would hear you out. A sad laugh left his lips , shaking his head, "I'll get you one way or another, whether I have to take you fighting or dead, but I'm not gonna lose you Y/n, I don't lose..."
“You already have” you knew you’d regret those words the second they hit your brain but you couldn’t stop your mouth from saying them. You saw the way his nostrils flared and how he gritted his teeth, you could practically hear them grinding together in his mouth, he yanked on your wrist pulling you closer to him, Bucky stepping even closer ready to pull him away, “you’ll fucking regret that, I’m gonna make you wish that little brat was never born” You closed your eyes expecting to feel pain as Matt raised his hand, but as quickly as it was raised, it was gone, for Bucky had put himself in between the two of you, pushing you away gently with one arm while attacking with the other.
The sound of bones crushing, and blood splattering rung through your ears. The image of Matt having his face repeatedly slammed against your kitchen counter both terrified and elated you. Seeing Bucky in this feral state made your heart thump uncontrollably out of your chest. You called out for him to stop but the sound was lost to the deafening sound of Matt's cries. Through the commotion of the yelling and the sound of things smashing to the ground you missed the sound of Sam entering the house through the front door shield in hand. Sam ran over attempting to tear Bucky away, Bucky's face turning to horror once he saw what he had done. He stood over Matt's body watching his face swell and weep with blood, as he screwed himself into the foetal position on the floor, coughing and spluttering all over the tiles.
Blue and red flashing lights surround the kitchen as the promise of help fills the room. "You Okay man?" Sam asks nodding at Bucky, he stayed silent, giving a sharp tilt of his head, stretching out his fingers on his virbranium hand, wiping the blood off onto his shirt. You went to his side, stroking your hand down his chest hoping to gain his attention, his eyes met yours, but they were shallow, you touched his face softly, making sure his eyes stayed on you "You're okay, thank you for protecting me" He wrapped his arms around your shoulders pulling you flush against him, burrowing his head in the crook of your neck. "It's- (coughs) cap- Captain America" Matt spluttered out, a combination of drool and blood oozing from his mouth, he seemed delirious after taking several punches to the head. "Yeah, and you're in a whole lotta trouble" Sam scoffed, turning to open the front door as the police and paramedics came up the drive.
After being checked over and giving statements to the police, you couldn't help but smile at the sight of Matt being handcuffed in the back of an ambulance, with the promise from the police that not only breaking and entering, but breaking his restraining order and continued harassment should be enough to keep him behind bars, if not only for a while, you were free.
Yourself and Bucky were sitting on the couch in your living room, the both of you quiet, not knowing what to say to one another. You decided to make the first move, opting to face him on the sofa, sitting cross legged opposite from him. His head turned in query as to what you were doing, but soon turned to face you. "So, what a way to end a first date..." you let the words linger, searing his face for any sign of amusement. A small smile lifted to his lips as your words sunk in, his head tilting towards you. "It was a date huh?" he smirked, eyes lighting up a tad more, losing the dullness that had reached them earlier. "We went for dinner, we laughed and you kissed me, then you saved me from Matt, I'd say that's a pretty successful date, wouldn't you?" You leaned forwards, brushing hand along the vibranium limb that sat along the back of the sofa. He laughed nodding. "So you had a good time up until the end?" he queries. "I had a great time, the entirety of it, no one has ever stood up for me the way you do, I'm really grateful...I just wish we hadn't been interrupted" You could feel yourself drawing closer to him, the magnetic buzz between you was back.
Bucky inched closer to you, his face mere centimetres from yours, his breath was warm across your face, he smelt like his cologne and a tint of dried blood, it was enough to send you into a frenzy. "What would you have wanted to happen if we were uninterrupted?" He bumped his nose against yours, tilting your head to the side, gliding his nose over neck, smelling your sweet scent, brushing his lips against your neck with feather light touches. "I'd let you do anything you wanted to me, you can take whatever you want" your breath was nothing more than a gasp as he kissed his way up your neck. "Careful, doll, I might actually do it" his breath fanned your face as he kissed around your cheeks, and jaw. He felt the way your fingers dug into the metal of his arm. "I want you to Bucky" in one swift movement he hauled you into his lap, his arms encasing your body, you squeaked as he lifted you, laying your hands on his broad shoulders feeling the muscles under his shirt. Smoothing over the soft fabric. His own hands wandered, feeling over the silk of your dress, slipping the fabric and bunching it up at your thighs, you gasped at the cool feeling of the metal hand digging into your flesh.
His lips delved in first, yours meeting in the meeting, melting together, melting together in a frantic fashion. His tongue brushed along your bottom lip, asking for access, you opened your mouth wider gladly receiving him. His tongue massaged its way into your mouth gliding along your own tongue. You gripped his shoulders a little tighter, his flesh hand gliding up the front of your body, in between the valley of your breast, settling around your neck. He kissed you as if he had kissed you a thousand times before. It felt natural. You started moving your hips against his, slowly and unintentional at first, but at first sound of your pleasure, Bucky soon started guiding your hips, working you back and forth loving the sounds of the soft mewls coming from your mouth. “Good girl, lie back for me”
You settled back onto the sofa, leaning your head on the arm rest, Bucky settled between your legs, continuing to kiss and nip at your neck while you got yourself comfortable, you giggled as his stubble tickled the sensitive skin between your neck and collar bone, throwing your head back against the arm rest. “God, I want to hear that sound for the rest of my life” he muttered as he kissed his way down your chest, his hands massaging their way over your body, squeezing at your breasts, you moaned his name quietly urging him not to stop. “I could listen to that too” His vibranium hand pushed up the silk skirt of your dress until it was fully bunched up around your waist, exposing the most precious lacey white underwear he’s ever laid his eyes on. He nuzzled his head into your sternum holding onto your waist tightly, kissing your stomach, he noticed small scars the further he pushed your dress up, some obvious burn marks where Matt must have put out cigarettes on you, others small, jagged like the one on your face. He noticed the slight hesitation in your eyes as he kissed over your stomach. “You’re beautiful you know that” you nodded, eyes fluttering as he headed further down south.
“Tell me to stop at any time, I just want you to feel good okay” your eyes met and you watched as he settled between your thighs, placing each of them over his shoulders, you swore you had died and gone to heaven, the sight of the beautiful blue eyed man kissing the soft skin of your inner thighs, swearing only to make you feel good. His arms wrapped around your waist once more pulling you closer to him, the force making you let out a straggled moan. Bucky pressed a kiss to your covered pussy, a shiver running up your spine. He continued to kiss at the bundle of nerves through the lace of your underwear, your back arching upwards in pleasure.
Moving his vibranium hand down he slipped the material to the side, pressing a cool metal digit onto your clit, swirling in circles, you gasped, hips jutting forwards, his flesh hand around your waist, pinning you back down holding you in place. You watched him as he stared at your pussy, glistening with arousal for him, dripping down onto the sofa, he looked like a hunter waiting to dine on his prey, you only opened your legs a little further for him, encouraging him in. Not a second later he dived in.
Lips wrapping around your clit, sucking and kissing it with the perfect pressure, you weee sure your head would explode, he swirled his tongue around the pulsing nerve enjoying the whimpers and moans that escaped your lungs, he looked up while continuing his assault, watching the way your chest would rise and fall, how your head had fallen back on the arm rest, exposing your neck, breathing so heavily the vein stuck out on your neck. He reached up with his flesh hand, palming your left breast, your back arching into his touch.
He licked at the entrance of your cunt, sucking up some of the wetness that had dripped out, “Bucky” you moaned his name for the first time sending vibrations through his entire body, straight to his cock. “You like that doll?” You nodded letting out another staggered moan as he fucked his tongue into your hole. He could feel your walls clenching around his tongue, he withdrew the muscle only for you to sit up in protest, you whine at the loss of contact but soon that turns into a whine of pleasure when one of metal digits enters you instead. Your eyebrows furrow in pleasure, sitting up on your elbows so you could watch him better.
You saw the smirk on his face while he slowly entered you, seemingly rubbing all the right spots, the cool of the metal mixed with the searing heat of your walls creating a beautiful blend of warmth. “That feel better babydoll?” Your brain couldn’t comprehend words at this current moment, your back arching and head falling back onto the sofa arm once more. “I’ll take that as a yes” he spoke smugly, working his finger in and out, applying the perfect amount of pressure, lips reattaching to your clit.
You could feel a heat raising inside you, one that you had never reached with another person before. You tangled your fingers through his hair, tugging him impossibly closer to your heat. You were panting, hips rutting into his face, you were sure you’d never felt this level of pleasure in your life. He soon found your g spot, softly nudging it over and over again, earning himself a lewd moan of his name, he could feel your walls clenching and spasms around his finger, he knew you were close, looking up loving the sight before his eyes. Sweat kissing your skin, mouth ajar with gasps and moans, chest raised to the sky. You were right there. “Be a good girl y/n, I want you to cum”
He spoke into your cunt and you fell apart. A scream making its way from your lungs while you writhed. He sucked and lapped up all the juices as they dripped from your pussy, sucking you dry, your body shaked and you felt yourself going limp. Bucky lifted himself up settling above you, leaning down to press a kiss to your lips, you involuntarily moaned at the taste of your essence on his lips. He pulled back smiling like a Cheshire Cat. “Did you enjoy that” with your legs still trembling beside his hips and a blissed out look on your face, it should have been telling enough. “You have no idea, no one has ever made me feel that good before, you sergeant James Barnes may have just ruined masterbating for me for life” you sighed, throwing your head back dramatically. He laughed , leaning forwards to press another kiss to your lips. He settled down after a moment, laying his head on your chest, listening to the thrum of your heart, while your fingers combed through his hair. You can’t remember a time that you felt so at home and relaxed while not with your son.
The two of you laid there most the night, talking away, sharing the odd kiss, and eventually falling asleep in the same position, only waking when the first sight of sunlight streamed through the living room curtains. The sight of the man still sleeping soundly, on your chest with his arms wrapped snuggly around you, you felt complete and safe, for the first time in a long time.

───────────────────────────────────
He fixes his watch to open a portal to his world. Gwen, Miles, and Pavitr basically run to get to it. He motions for you to go ahead, and you walk through. Immediately when you step into his room, you’re hit with the smell of weed and incense. You’d be lying if you said you hated it. You glance around. You see drums, another electric and acoustic guitar, empty spray paint cans, spray paint on the walls, stacks of newspapers (all defaced in some way)… it feels very Hobie to say the least. “Now this. This is a livin’ area,” he says, appearing behind you. You shake your head. “So loud, both figuratively and literally. How do you ever get anything done?”
“By being louder than everyone else, obviously,” he responds, and you roll your eyes. “What a way to live,” you remark. “Better than that quiet, dark, and gloomy, way,” he retorts, and you shrug. “If you say so.”
“Hey, Hobie, do you still have the roof all decorated?” Gwen asks and he nods. “Course I do. I own the place, head on up,” he jerks his head upwards, and Gwen turns to Miles and Pavitr with a smirk. “Race ya!”
“Hey no fair! You have been here so many times!” Pavitr yells as Gwen takes off. “Come on, Miles!” you hear her yell. Miles smiles gently and shakes his head before going after the two of them. “He’s so obsessed with her it’s making me sick,” you mumble, and Hobie snorts. “What? Miles and Gwen’s relationship too much for you? You hate love?”
“Love has never done anything but cause me pain. And not the good kind,” you glance at him with a frown, and he raises his eyebrow. Suddenly his eyes get wide. “Oh shit… you had a Gwen canon event.”
“I don’t want to talk about it,” you respond, and he frowns. “You know, actually talkin’ about that kinda shit is a good way to not sit on it and let it build. You could face some serious problems if you keep doin’ that.”
“Who said I gave a fuck what you think? I didn’t ask for the unneeded advice, alright?” you say, and he narrows his eyes at you. “Oh, right. Forgot I was dealing with a bloody doughnut,” he mumbles and point to the window. “Care to go to the roof and get out of my sight?”
“Sound like the best thing you’ve said since I got here,” you say, leaping out of his window and climbing up the side of the building. While clinging to the wall, you glance out at Hobie’s world. His city looks almost exactly like Night of Yore City, except for the fact that there are a shit ton of fires burning, over half of the buildings look abandoned, the sky is a reddish-orangish hue, and it is so much louder. The name is also vastly different, as his version of NYC is New London. Universal differences get weird and confusing. Nonetheless, you’re intrigued, you turn around, putting your back against the wall and supporting yourself with your hands and feet. The graffitied buildings are a nice touch, you must admit. You snort to yourself when you see a mural of Hobie. If only they knew the asshole behind the mask.
“Now why the hell aren’t you up there with everyone else?” you hear his voice pull you out of your thoughts as he crawls up next to you. You shrug. “I’m a sucker for views, I guess.”
“Well, believe it or not, view is a lot better from the top of the buildin’,” he says, and you roll your eyes. “Can I please just be secluded and observe in peace?”
“Absolutely fuckin’ not. Come on,” he says, starting to walk up the wall. You sigh and lazily roll backwards and up the wall to come to standing and follow him up. When you get to the top of the roof, you see a boombox (blaring punk music, of course) and blankets surrounding a barrel with a fire going in it. Multiple coolers decorate the roof which all look stockpiled full of different beers. “Hey, Hobie, you know that they’re all kids, right?”
“New universe, new rules, love. Drinking age is 16 and up ‘round here, not that I’d give a fuck if it wasn’t anyway. So, sit down, shut up, and drink a damn beer. Maybe you’ll loosen up,” he says, tossing you a random bottle. You roll your eyes and sit down but put the beer to the side.
“Hey, Hobie, do you have any of that–” Miles gets cut off by Hobie tossing him another bottle. “Nice. Thanks, dude,” he says excitedly, cracking the top and taking a drink. Gwen gets her beer of choice, and Pavitr does the same. Hobie, you notice, doesn’t drink anything. “So, what were you guys talking about?” Gwen asks, pointing between the two of you with her bottle. “What?” you ask, and she shrugs. “You guys were alone in Hobie’s for a while and no one died, soooo did you guys finally talk about something you could agree on?”
“We can’t agree on nothin’, Gwen. They were just bein’ their usual self and annoyin’ the shit out of me at any chance they could get,” Hobie says, and you shake your head. “Good to know it worked, mate”
“Stop imitatin’ me, poser.”
“No, I don’t think I will.”
“I’ll make you.”
“Try me, Hobart.”
“Alright, that’s enough of that. What were you guys talking about?” Miles asks, and you and Hobie look at each other. “Just asked where the bathroom was,” you say, and he nods. “Yeah. That’s it.”
You weren’t necessarily ready to reveal you faced the Gwen canon event. Especially not to another Gwen. At least Hobie isn’t enough of a dick to bring it up in front of them. “Oh, yeah, you did change into your everyday clothes. Don’t know how I didn’t notice that,” Gwen states, taking another swig of her beer. You had changed in your apartment after cleaning your wound, but you don’t say anything. Hobie nods at you, and you nod back.
“Why aren’t you drinking anything (Y/n)? Here, try this it’s so good,” Pavitr pushes his bottle toward you, and you shake your head. “I don’t want to drink, but thanks Pavitr,” you say, and he frowns. “Awww.” You smile slightly at how disappointed he sounds. “Well, I want to remember everything you all tell me without it being fuzzy because I was hoping you could let me know a little bit more about all the spider people in Spider Society. I’m still new, you four, Peter B. Parker, and Miguel are the only ones I’ve really met.”
With that, Gwen, Miles, and Pavitr start telling you everything they know. You learn about Jessica Drew, Spider-Man Noir, Peni Parker, and so many more. Gwen, Miles, and Pavitr talk for hours, and since they’re kids, they do not know when to stop drinking. Eventually, the three of them are passed out. Miles is cradling Gwen’s side with his head on her chest as she wraps one of her arms around him, and Pavitr is laying straight on his back, lightly snoring. You giggle softly at the sight. Suddenly the punk music you’ve been listening to for the past however many hours gets softer. You glance over to where it is and see Hobie bent over and turning it down. “Don’t wanna wake ‘em,” he mumbles, walking over to you. The volume of the city has decreased quite a bit, and with the low hum of music coming from the boombox now, his world is actually kind of enjoyable. Though you’d never tell him that. He motions to the skyline, and you turn and look. He was right, as much as you hate to admit it. The view is a lot better from up here.
“Why didn’t you drink anythin’?” he asks, and you shrug. “Didn’t feel like it. Why didn’t you drink anything?” He shrugs and pulls out a rolled cigarette from his vest pocket. “Got somethin’ better.”
“And you didn’t offer any to them?”
“Hey, they can drink here, they don’t need to mess with this shit. ‘Sides I knew they’d be pissed. Gonna have a god-awful hangover tomorrow,” he says, pulling out a lighter. You shake your head. “They can’t mess with your shit, but I can?”
“The two of us are the same age. We’re ‘adults’ or whatever the fuck that means. Are you too stuck up to be ‘round some grass or somethin’?”
“No, Hobie, I don’t give a fuck if you smoke weed. Building manager might, though.”
“Love, I am the building manager. This place is abandoned, so it belongs to me. And you’re not tellin’ me I’m supposed to smoke this myself?” he asks with a sly smirk on his face. You raise your eyebrow at him. “Actually I am.” He groans, putting the joint to his lips and lighting the end of it.
“Do you know how to have any fun?”
“Do you know how to have any–” Before you can finish, he puts his finger over your mouth, and raises the joint to his lips again. He takes a deep breath in, blowing out the excess smoke and glancing at you. “No.”
“You don’t even know what I was gonna say.”
“Don’t care. The answer is no.”
“Have you ever actually tried listening to anything anyone says?” “Nah. I don’t listen to no one. I’m me, and if people don’t like that, good,” he says, taking another drag. He glances over at you and holds the joint out. “Y’sure you don’t want some?”
“You actually want to share with me?”
“I want you to not be as much as a ragin’ fuckwit, so yes,” he blows smoke in your face, and you glare at him. “If I take one hit, will you shut the fuck up about it?”
“Probably not, but it would sure make me happier.” You roll your eyes, and take the joint from him, taking a drag. He watches you. He’d never admit it, but he wishes you weren’t such an asshole. The way you look doing that in the moonlight? Stunning. You pass the joint back to him, some of the smoke coming out of your nose. “Stop staring at me.”
“Just makin’ sure you did it right and didn’t waste my shit,” he says, taking another drag. “I know how to hit a joint, Hobie.”
“Really? Never would have guessed you’d do anything remotely excitin’.”
“Oh, please. You barely know me,” you say, angrier than you probably should be. “Then tell me about yourself, love.”
“Hard pass,” you say, and he groans. “I get the desire to stay anonymous and mysterious, obviously, but come on. Chances are we’re gonna be seein’ each other more than either of us wants to, so just open up a bit,” he says, and you frown. “There’s nothing you need to know.”
“Bullshit.”
“Oh yeah? Then tell me something about you.”
“I killed Norman Osborn with my guitar after defeatin’ him and all of his V.E.N.O.M. forces and successfully led a rebellion against fascism,” he says smugly, “Until those other fuckin’ Nazis showed up, but one day I promise you this world? Will be capitalist and fascist free.”
“No, it won’t. Am I supposed to be impressed?” you ask with a deadpan face. He scoffs. “Damn, you’re a wanker. I’d like to see you try and defeat the V.E.N.O.M. forces. From what I seen your world’s villains are rubbish,” he says and to his surprise, and yours, you laugh. A hint of a smile plays on his features, but you shake your head. “Green Goblin is, you’re right, but... there are others who are much worse. And what the fuck is a venom force? You’re saying that like I should just know what it is.”
“It was a symbiote that– wait, you sayin’ you don’t know what venom is? That’s something every spider-person deals with at some point,” he says, and you shrug. “Guess I haven’t dealt with it yet.”
“Yeah, well, when you do, call me cause you’ll need my help,” he says and you roll your eyes. “I’d rather die than get help from you.”
“I helped you today, love.”
“I could have done that myself,” you retort, and he shakes his head, taking another drag. “I guess I should thank you though.”
“Hmm?”
“For not telling them what we were really talking about,” you say, and he hums. “What they won’t know won’t kill ‘em. But just so you know I was being so serious. Not talkin’ about that shit is more harmful than good,” he says, and you frown. “I’m not much of a talker.”
“Coulda fooled me.”
“Do you ever shut the fuck up,” you groan, and he laughs. He loves pissing you off, might be his favorite thing to do now. But the conversation might actually need to get serious. He may hate you, but he’s Spider-Punk for the people, and you’re apart of that people. He’s there to help, so he may as well try with you.
“Why not?”
“What?”
“Why not? Why won’t you talk about it?” he asks, and you huff. “Because it was my fault, and I don’t want to think about it.”
“Nah, I bet it wasn’t your fault,” he mumbles, taking another drag. You glare at him. “Oh, right, I forgot you were there when their neck snapped after I tried to save them,” you spit, and he glances at you. You can feel that hit starting to affect you, that’s the only reason you said anything about… the incident. Of course, Hobie has good shit, why wouldn’t he. “What were you trying to save them from?” he asks, his voice oddly calm. “The Prowler,” you reply, “He’s the worst of the worst in my universe.” He hums and nods. “Well then, reckon it’s the Prowler’s fault then, innit?”
“What? But I’m the one who couldn’t get to them in time after he–”
“He did it, (Y/n). You did your best, but it ain’t your fault what happened there. That’s what they want you to think. Try and get that through your thick skull, would you?” he says, and you scoff, “They?”
He nods, and you go quiet. He glances over at you as you just sit and stare out at the city. “Stop doin’ ‘at.”
“Doing what?”
“Blamin’ yourself,” he says, taking another long drag. You sigh. “I can’t help it,” you mumble, and he shakes his head. “You can. Just takes time,” he responds. You scoff, “You’d think three years would be enough time.” You look out at his city. It’s so different from yours, but you can still see the beauty in it. And you can see the stars. None of the constellations of your world are here, but the sky is still beautiful. “If you need a place to crash, my couch is very comfortable and has your name written all over it,” Hobie says, and you shake your head. “I should probably just go back to my universe–”
“No way. No dimension hopping under the influence,” he says, and you roll your eyes. “I had one hit,” you say, and he shrugs. “And one hit is enough for you to think you’re goin’ home only to end up in Peter Porker’s shower. You’re stayin’ here tonight.” You roll your eyes. “You’re insufferable.”
“I’m insufferable for watchin’ out for your well-bein’? Okay, sure.”
“I don’t need you to watch out for me. I don’t need anyone,” you hiss, and he scoffs. “Of course you don’t. Too good for everyone else.”
“I didn’t say that.”
“It was implied.”
“You’re an asshole.”
“Look who’s talking.”
“Like you wouldn’t say the same thing,” you say, and he shrugs. “You’re right. I would say I don’t need anyone, because I don’t. Especially not a miserable thing like you,” he says, and you frown. “Good.”
“Great.”
“Fuck you.”
“Fuck you.”
The two of you just glare at each other for a bit before he flicks the butt of his joint off the building. “Goin’ to bed. See you tomorrow.”
“Unfortunately.”
“Shut up and follow me back to my place,” he says, getting up and walking down the building. You follow, yawning as you realize just how tired you are. When you get back inside Hobie’s place, he points at the couch. “Lay there, and don’t move until mornin’, got it?”
“I’ll do what I want.”
“Amazin’. Just don’t wake me up, and I won’t give a fuck,” he says, walking into his bedroom and kicking his door shut. You roll your eyes and lay down on his couch. It’s actually surprisingly comfortable, and you find yourself actually dozing off faster than you anticipated. Hobie walks out of his room to get a drink of water and ready to fight you verbally again, only to see you passed out on his couch with literally no blanket or pillow.
He sighs, grabbing a throw blanket off his bed and gently placing it on top of you. In the morning, you wake up before everyone else. You notice the blanket, and know only one person could have done that, but you don’t feel like sticking around to say anything. You just go home. But before you do, you leave a little note saying, ‘didn’t need your sympathy, thanks but no thanks,’ and draw a little middle finger.
He’ll get the hint you appreciated it.

Part III | Part V
You were woken up by small whimpers. Looking in darkness for its source, your eyes landed on Eris who slept beside you, your fingers still intertwined. He made that sound again, eyes behind his closed eyelids were moving feverishly. He was flinching and tossing, the other hand clenching covers on his chest. Suddenly the sheets all around him began smoking. His hand in yours warmed up so much you hissed in pain and let go of it.
"No.." he whimpered.
You didn't know what caused his bad dream, but you felt sorry for him. You reached out and wiped the cold sweat from his forehead. Your hand moved to his cheek, caressing him. He stopped tossing. His long eyelashes quivered and he opened his eyes slightly.
His gaze still clouded with the sleep, met yours. You waited. Until now he always ducked from your touch, distanced himself physically as well as emotionally. Honestly, you expected him to push you away or even worse, to send you back to your room.
After what felt like forever, he rolled to his side with a groan. His arms wrapped around you, tugging you to his chest. The movement stilled, his breath calmed down within seconds. He was deep asleep once again. You smiled to yourself triumphantly and deeply inhaled. Even sweaty, his chest smelled amazingly good, like roasted apples, cinnamon, smoke and something woody. You sighed and carefully snuggled closer. Eris's muscles tensed, his embrace tightened and then without waking up he relaxed.
Listening to his steady heartbeat you fell asleep and woke up again at dawn.
Eris groaned and his hand moved up to his face. He was awake. Not sure what to do and afraid that he could be angry that you were basically using his shoulder as a pillow, you pretended to be still asleep.
He looked down at you with face snuggled to his chest and huffed in amusement. Making sure you were really still asleep, his fingers combed your hair back from your face, playing with it for a while. When last strands slid out from between them, he gently touched your face.
His feather-light touch slowly grazed over your cheek, eyebrow, tip of your nose and swell of your lips. You had to hold on your breath to keep your crazy heart at check while his started racing up under your ear. He probably wouldn't appreciate to find out you were up all this time and caught him in the act, so you kept pretending.
When it seemed that he had already enjoyed it to his heart's content, his fingers jumped to your shoulder and danced down and up your arm that was wrapped around his waist. He was taking his time, playing with you.
At last he gently put your arm down and just as carefully he pulled his arm from beneath you. You thought he would immediately slip out of the bed, but he stayed a little longer, watching you and touching you.
One could think that it was strange and felt bad, but actually it was very pleasant as he never touched any inappropriate part of your body. You would welcome such morning every day.
At last he snuggled his face to the crook of your neck, kissed you under the ear and deeply inhaled. With a heavy sigh he left, heading for the bathroom.
You finally exhaled, pulling covers up to your face. What was that? It was so.. sweet and lovely. You really liked that. You had few more minutes to get your breath and heart under the control before he emerged back to room. He halted in his haste for a moment, watching you and then disappeared in his closet. He quickly changed and returned back. He stopped long enough to kiss your cheek and he was gone.
After the doors closed with a soft click behind him, you waited for few minutes. When it was sure he wouldn't come back, you opened your eyes. With a wide smile you rolled around, moving to his side of the bed. You buried your face in his pillow, deeply inhaling his scent that lingered there. You couldn't believe it. Did it really happen or was it just some dream? You didn't know, but it made you happy anyway.
You spent your day as the previous one, sitting on a bench under the window watching the garden while maid kept an eye on you from the other corner of the room.
The garden was still drenched from the heavy rain, drops on leaves shining like diamonds in the sun. It was quite spectacular sight with all the radiant colours, but you paid it no attention. All you could think about was Eris and his gentle touches. You had to disguise your wide grin and blush with the hand.
You hoped that he would finally come to eat with you that day. What a disappointment when servants again brought only one plate. However, even this couldn't ruin your mood. For some reason you still believed that the night you spent together would change something and he would appear at your doors in the evening.
When maids left after helping you with your night routine, you were so excited you couldn't stay still. You checked your look in the mirror so many times you lost count, your eyes often turning to the doors with hope. The clock in sitting room struck eight and then nine. There was no sign of him coming back. With each passing hour, your hopes began to fade.
When the clock struck midnight you were sitting on your usual spot, defeated. You were on the verge of crying.
Why?
That question had haunted you since you woke up curled up on the ottoman once again completely alone. After flying so high for a single day, you fell down and landed hard in the reality. That night wouldn't repeat. Whatever your husband felt when he touched and kissed you, it was just a fleeting moment that wouldn't happen again. He wasn't interested in getting to know you. You were naive to think otherwise. After all you knew nothing about him. He was just too kind to send you away when you were scared. Even the words you thought that you heard before falling asleep, had to be a figment of your imagination, a dream. That was it.
You felt down and for the first time in your life really lonely. You were alone whole your life, but this time it was different. This time it hurt to be left alone. Loneliness was such a strange feeling, so agonizing and paralysing at times. It could suck all colours and joy from the world at once, leaving only black and white scraps. It left you feeling empty, your appetite was gone too.
You got a taste of something beautiful, of something you didn't know how to name it, but you wanted more. You weren't ready to give up on it, not yet. However, because you couldn't name it, you couldn't ask for it either.
Days passed by, one as the other one. You completely lost track of time. Every night you waited for your husband, just so you could wake up alone at the same place where you fell asleep. It took a week or maybe even two when all of a sudden things started to change.
The first of changes were the mornings.
Instead of waking up curled on the ottoman and being cold, you found yourself in bed with covers firmly wrapped around you. It wasn't yours and for sure not maids' doing, which left you with only one option - your husband. The thought that he came in to check on you and without waking you up carried you to the bed, made your heart thrill with excitement. Of course, you'd prefer to see him and hear his voice, but it was better than nothing.
The second change happened some time after the first one and was kind of shocking. It came in a form of a knock on the doors.
Maid dozing in her corner immediately jumped up and ran to answer. She peeked out and right away backed with a bow, holding doors opened for whoever waited on the other side. The person stepped in briskly.
You immediately stood up with bowed head as it was expected from you in presence of any male.
"You can go," a male's voice told to maid.
She glanced in your direction briefly and bowed even deeper.
"But his Lordship ordered-"
"I know very well what his Lordship ordered. I was there. Now get out," the voice was terse and didn't allow any objection. You shivered involuntarily. This male was just as unemotional as the first time you met him, yet there was something scary about his coolness.
Without another word, maid left. He waited, looking at the closed doors and after a while he finally turned to you. He stayed silent, but you could feel his eyes roaming over you.
"We've already met, but let me introduce myself properly this time," he said. Without warning his voice softened, sounding more friendly. "I'm Killian Vanserra, an advisor of our High Lord and his younger brother."
You blinked in surprise at this revelation, readying to introduce yourself.
"Shocking, right," he grinned. "You are Y/N, correct? From Hewn city. I've never been there, you know. I hope you will tell me more about that place. City under the mountain," he conveyed with reverence. "It must be fascinating. I've been waiting for the opportunity to get to know my new sister-in-law. I hope that you don't mind that I call you just Y/N. Don't worry, I'll do so only in private. You can call me Kill, if you want."
He spewed streams of words in one breath so fast that you hardly understood him. You were speechless. While he was talking, he stepped closer, too close to your liking. You backed, bumping into the bench behind you, lost balance and fell back, sitting on it. Your arm flew out, looking for some support and finding it at window sill.
"Did I startle you? I'm sorry. Sometimes when I'm too excited, I speak a lot and too fast. Eris warned me to approach you rather carefully."
The mention of your husband warmed your heart. Did he really say that?
"You are quite pale. Are you okay? Do you need water or something?"
"I'm fine, I think. Thank you."
"Eris told me that you are a timid little thing. I'll try to be, you know, less intimidating," he chuckled, taking a seat opposite you.
Your eyes darted nervously to the massive doors. He was too close, his knee almost touching yours, and he was still gazing at you curiously.
"Relax," he held both hands up in mocking way. "I won't hurt you. Okay?"
"Yes, my l-," you stuttered.
"Just Kill, please. Or Killian. Whichever is fine," he grinned. Afterwards, he got serious, tilting his head to the side.
"Hmm.. He mentioned you have problem with this," he muttered under his breath. He leaned closer.
"You can look at me. I don't bite," he reassured you with kind smile, speaking in less rambunctious voice than before. "You are safe here, you know. With rest of our siblings it isn't so sure, that's why they don't live here anymore. However, I support my brother and I'm really glad he married you and not that bitch who some of those old bastards suggested."
The last comment caught your attention. Was there someone else? Some rival? If so, you'd really like to know why Eris had chosen you. You had little to nothing to offer. You had no special powers that you knew about, your family wasn't even prominent in the Night Court. You didn't own great wealth nor armies. All you had was your face and the body he apparently wasn't interested in.
You guardedly looked up. Killian was very similar to his older brother. Same high cheek bones, same amber eyes, his short cut hair had the same shade. Yet they were so different. His skin was a bit darker, dotted with hundreds of freckles. Even with his thin lips and low-set eyebrows, he was handsome. Angular, wide jaw and robust figure made him look older than his brother, more manly. However, light smirk playing on his lips gave him a youthful, playful look.
"You see? I didn't bite you." He leaned back in his seat, obviously satisfied with his achievement. "Dear sister.. Can I call you sister?"
You just nodded, not sure whether to laugh or not.
"Mmm, very well. Dear sister, how do you like Autumn court so far?"
"I-..I think it's very nice here. I like all those colours," you pointed out of the window.
"Don't take me wrong, please, but have you at least tried to go out?"
You shook your head, ashamed and scared that you did something wrong. You didn't know what to do here, if there was anything you were expected to do, any role you were supposed to take on.
He purse his lips and nodded. "As I thought. We'll return to this topic later. How about maids? Are you satisfied with their service?"
You answered one question after another. Mostly, he was just interested whether everything was to your liking. Then he leaned forward with conspiratorial smirk and resting his chin on his hand, he asked.
"And what about Eris? Is he to your liking?" he winked.
Your face flushed all the way to your ears and neck, and you looked shyly down. He seemed to be pleased with your reaction.
"I don't see him much," you admitted honestly.
"How so?" he raised his brows. "You sleep together, don't you?"
You bit on your lower lip.
"Oh that idiot," he cursed slapping his forehead.
Groaning he looked up at ceiling for a moment, then his gaze again fixed on your embarrassed, cringing form and he gently nudged you on the knee.
"If you were my wife, I wouldn't leave bed for weeks," he winked at you and chuckled. He sighed heavily. "I'd love to stay here and chat with you more. It's pity that I'll have to go soon, but don't worry. I'll be back before you start to miss me. So let's return back to the business."
He straightened up and cleared his throat. "I'm here to deliver a message from his Lordship. I don't agree with the stylization, but he insisted on passing you the message exactly as he said it. So listen carefully." He paused dramatically. "You are obligated to take a walk in the garden every day, with the exception of rainy days, and the best right after the breakfast. That's it."
You blinked once, then again. You didn't know what to think about it. It sounded like some kind of punishment.
"I.. understand." That was the only reaction you could master at the moment. You weren't in position to refuse anyway. Your husband ordered you to go out and you would do so.
Next day Eris swung open the door of his office so violently that it hit the wall and bounced off it. He marched to his desk with long strides and slammed down the documents he held with such force that the lamp and pens jumped.
"I can't believe you said it like that!"
The door would close right away, if it wasn't for a hand that stopped them.
"You told me to say it like that. Don't you remember?" Killian sighed and closed the door behind. Lock clicked and wards rose.
"I always tell you to do so and you never do. Why now?"
"She's my sister now. She is important-"
"And council members aren't?" Eris was so pissed off that the hot flames flowing in his veins rose to the surface and he let them out. They swirled up around his arms like snakes until they reached his amber eyes.
"Impressive, but you know that that doesn't work on me," Killian waved his hand, bored. Small flames danced on the tips of his fingers and then disappeared in smoke. "You can be angry as much as you want. It already happened, you can't take it back. If you didn't want me to repeat exactly those words, why didn't you say it differently? I can't read your mind."
Eris pinched the bridge of his nose between his thumb and forefinger. It was pointless to try to explain it. Killian just rarely seriously listened what he told him anyway. "What was her reaction?"
"Of course she wasn't delighted. Who would be?" Killian rolled his eyes and with arms crossed on his chest leaned against the wall next to the window overlooking the garden. Out of the corner of his eye he caught a movement that attracted his attention.
"Fuck," Eris hissed and ran hand through his hair. He needed to go through all the documents piled up on his desk and not waste time with this.
"Look at this," Killian called from his place by the window with a light chuckle.
"I don't have time-"
"Oh, believe me. You want to see this."
Rolling his eyes Eris sighed, but he stepped to the window. When his gaze landed on the small figure rushing through the garden, he had to chuckle.
"She really does as you demanded, doesn't she," Killian mused watching her with a kind of sentiment. "I don't really understand why you insist on not sleeping with her. She's lovable."
Ignoring the last remark Eris's hand reached out thoughtlessly, fingers pressed against the sheet of glass. He smiled unhappily. "Poor little thing.. Why is she in such a hurry? I hoped she would enjoy it, not that she would hate it so much. Maids said that she was spending her days gazing out.. I thought.."
"I think it's because of them," Killian groaned, nodding his head in direction of the two figures a few meters ahead of the girl. Two maids were so engrossed in conversation that they forgot their task at hand and simply marched in their usual speed.
Eris's fingers clenched into a fist. "Get rid of them before I can get my hands on them," he grunted through clenched teeth. "How fast can you find some suitable replacement?"
Killian straightened up with one-sided grin, his eyes shone with mischief. "They can be here the first thing in the morning."
"Very well," Eris nodded without taking his eyes off of the hurrying girl. "But don't forget. I want for her someone kind.. friendly.. understanding.."
"Leave it to me. I think I know what exactly you are looking for." With that Killian immediately left, leaving Eris completely enchanted by that small figure who he called his wife now.

Kenpachi didn’t make any indication of wanting to touch more than you had allowed him to, only sliding his hands up and down your sides, and that was a relief that night you kissed for the first time.
You started to reconsider it as the days went by.
Spending more time with Kenpachi had actually opened your eyes about a lot of things about him that you had misjudged. He spoked crudely, but he simply did so because it was a part of him (and you figured it had a lot to do with his past; since he wasn’t royalty, he probably never had an education). His hardened expression was just natural as well, it did not mean that he was angry all the time. Better yet, it was actually attractive how stoic he was sometimes. You had been a fool for a long time; he wasn’t as cold, distant or violent as you initially assumed. At least not violent towards you, or anyone who couldn’t defend themselves, and that was all you cared about.
You had assumed you would have been intimate with him on your wedding night. Even if that didn’t end up happening at that moment, you were hoping that it would happen anytime soon after that first kiss. You weren’t ignorant about what it was supposed to happen, you weren’t even ignorant about your own body. He had awoken certain sensations that you had never felt, and you were more than curious about what it’d be like to actually lay with someone. And nothing as exciting as doing it with your husband when you had newfound affection for him.
Which made you conclude that you liked Kenpachi more than you would like to admit. Albeit you had jumped to conclusions about him from the beginning; once a little light came through, you saw him differently, and you couldn’t deny it anymore. Especially after you started kissing more regularly, something in your stomach bubbled (besides sexual excitement) every time. And you just wanted, needed, more.
You eyed him as discreetly as possible whenever he got to the bedroom at night, taking off his clothes as he readied himself to sleep. Callous skin for sure, but with curves and dips and defined muscles, with broad shoulders and ample chest. You couldn’t even help yourself but stare at him; you were as curious as a dead cat, but you wouldn’t mind being dead at all if it meant laying with such a man. He was your spouse, after all.
Kenpachi walked in later than usual one night. The colder days had crept in, and snow was inevitable to happen soon. You had insisted he take a bath in the bedroom several times, it was warmer than any other room (you wouldn’t admit to any ulterior motives), but he kept denying it for no apparent reason; he usually was ready to sleep as soon as he walked in.
You stayed in silence for a few minutes, watching him from the bed as he sat down in the chair by the fireplace, taking off his eyepatch and running his hand through his hair before cracking his neck to the side.
“Did you think I had kids of my own?” Kenpachi suddenly asked without even turning his eyes to you, but you couldn’t help but look at him in surprise.
He was talking about Yachiru and the moment you found out about her. You felt your face heat up just remembering it.
“I had no idea what… what to think, if I’m being honest.” You answered vaguely.
“You were shocked when you thought I had children.” He said, looking at you with an amused grin.
“Yes.” You finally admitted, blushing deeper. “I knew nothing about you, so I was surprised!”
“You could’ve just asked.” Kenpachi said with a chuckle. “But it was a funny way to introduce yourself to my men.”
“Please, I could barely look them in the eye afterwards.” You replied, covering your face. The sound of his laugh took you by surprise, and it only made you smile. “What’s the purpose of bringing this up now?”
“Didn’t think my wife who didn’t want to marry me would care about that shit.”
“Any wife would care if her husband was sleeping around!” You complained, rolling your eyes. “Are you mocking me?”
“What do you think?”
When Kenpachi walked over to you, you tensed up in anticipation. He sat beside you on the bed before promptly kissing you, slamming his lips against yours. He never failed to take you by surprise; he was rarely soft or gentle, usually slowing down after a while, but his kisses were always urgent. You hadn’t kissed anyone before him so you could mold yourself to his pace, but you were positive this was just his own personality seeping through in the way he kissed you. If anything, he was always authentic.
You were breathless when he pulled away, and you watched him, dizzy-eyed as he stood up to remove his tunic before slipping beside you on the bed. You stared at him expectantly, and sighed when it was obvious when he just wanted to sleep.
You knew nothing about seduction, so you didn’t exactly know how to proceed; you didn’t want to explicitly ask for Kenpachi to touch you, you had your pride as well. Sighing loudly again, you wished him good night before blowing out the candle in your bedside table, to which he only responded with a grunt.
It took you a while to fall asleep that night, and you were too tempted to get up and take a walk around the castle but quickly gave up on the idea, too nervous to wake Kenpachi up if you were to get out. Though in the few days you had been sharing a bed, it was almost an obvious fact that he slept like a log; you could play the drums and he would not even notice.
When you woke up early in the morning, the first thing you noticed was the snow outside the window, covering the sill. You watched, between sleepiness and wonderment, as small drops of snow slowly fell from the sky, stretching your legs along the warmth of the bed.
“Have you never seen snow?” Kenpachi’s hoarse voice startled you, making you turn to him in surprise.
“It rarely snows in the palace.” You replied, clearing your voice to avoid sounding too sleepy, and pulling the covers over your shoulders when you noticed he was only covering his lower half with the sheets, bare chest completely exposed. “I’ve only seen snow a couple of times.”
He only grunted in response, and you took a minute to watch his face; you almost never got to see him wake up at the same time as you. His hair was just as wild as it was during the day, you’ve seen him comb it yet stay the same, so it must naturally look that messy. You were fond of that look, it just added to his overall aggressive appearance.
The scar down the side of his face always caught your attention. Kenpachi was regarded as the strongest man in the kingdom, but who had been strong enough to harm him?
“You’re staring too much.” He said, fixing his eyes on yours. You immediately felt your temperature raise, and swallowed quietly. “Do I have something on my face?”
“Your scar-”
“Well, I can’t do anything about that.”
“No.” You chuckled as he grinned, equally amused. “How did you get it?”
“A woman gave it to me.”
“A woman?!” You raised your voice in surprise. “She must have been remarkable to have inflicted such harm to you.”
“Yeah…”
When Kenpachi didn’t add anything else, you became nervous, fidgeting under the covers. He was the one who wouldn’t stop staring at you then.
You gasped when he suddenly rolled on top of you, bracing his arms on each side of your head, looking down at you with eyes that turned darker with each passing moment. The heat emanating from his body invaded you, even through the sheets and covers in between your bodies.
“Are you still unwilling?” Kenpachi asked in a surprisingly cautious tone.
There wasn’t any need to clarify what he meant when he asked, and you didn’t need to consider your answer.
“No, I have been… willing for a while now.” You answered, embarrassed yet enthusiastic.
You could have kept talking if it wasn’t for Kenpachi’s insistent mouth covering yours in the blink of an eye. His kisses had always been hungry, as if he was trying to devour you, but you could tell the difference between his usual ones and the kiss he was giving you at that moment. He was excited for you, fervently gliding his lips over yours as his tongue explored the inside of your mouth, swallowing down the little noises you made as he pressed his body to yours.
That was when you felt his erection pressing against your thigh. If you could feel it through all the fabrics, you couldn’t even imagine what his size would be like.
Kenpachi only pulled back to remove the covers, attaching his lips to yours soon afterward. He groaned lowly when one of his hands found your chest, groping your breast roughly through your nightgown and making you gasp as you wrapped your arms around his neck.
Your heart pounded fast inside your chest, too nervous, excited and scared at the same time when he pulled your nightgown over your head, discarding it haphazardly, leaving you completely exposed. The cool air created goosebumps on your skin, and you shivered from trepidation. He stared at you, eyes traveling down your chest and lower, and you felt the need to cover yourself the longer he kept his gaze on you.
A few seconds seemed like an eternity, and you were about to pull the sheets over yourself when he spoke.
“You must be a siren sent to tempt me,” Kenpachi grunted, and you looked at him with eyes wide open. “Look what you fucking do to me.”
The air was knocked out of you when he crashed his lips to yours, pinning you to the mattress with the weight of his body, forcing you to part your legs. His erection was much more obvious as he ground his hips against yours, the fabric of his pants creating friction that you’ve never felt before, making you whimper.
Kenpachi dragged his tongue down your jaw and neck, pressing open mouth kisses every now and then as his hands wandered up your sides to cup your breasts. You didn’t know how a simple touch could ignite a fire within you, but when he swiped his thumbs over your nipples, jolts of pleasure traveled through your body, causing your back to arch.
“You like that?” He chuckled darkly before kissing you, rolling one of your nipples between his fingers.
Your answer was the whine that slipped past your lips as you tried to kiss him back, a difficult task when you felt his other hand wander down your hips to roughly grab your butt. Kenpachi dragged his lips down your chin and neck until he reached your chest, nibbling at the curve of your tit before taking one of your nipples into his mouth.
The sounds that came from your lips were strange. You had made noises when you touched yourself in the past but it was different; you felt more vulnerable when such a man was causing them as he sucked and grazed his teeth on your supple skin, surely leaving marks for days. Closing your eyes, you covered your mouth for a second before Kenpach firmly grabbed your wrist, pulling your hand away from your face.
“I wanna hear you.” He smirked salaciously, sending shivers up your spine. “I’ve been thinking about this for too long for you to be quiet. Be as loud as you want.”
Biting on the curve of your breast hard, you squeaked loudly. You blushed, ashamed of the sound you made, and tugged at his hair, knowing fully well he had done that on purpose. Kenpachi only looked at you with dark eyes and a wicked smile, running his tongue over your nipple and making you gasp.
His lips trailed down your abdomen, making you giggle when his tongue traced your belly button before he got to your hips. He pulled away to part your legs, strong hands holding your thighs, and your entire body burned up underneath his gaze.
“Why do you keep staring at me so much?!” You yelled in a hushed tone.
“Because you drive me fucking crazy.”
The frenzied look in his eyes and the wide grin on his lips made your heart skip a beat.
Maybe you were going just as crazy for him as he was for you.
“This part right here,” He went on, licking his lips as one of his hands glided over your entrance, making you yelp. “It’s calling for me. Do you know how fucking gorgeous you are down here?”
“That-That’s not-! I don’t-!” You stammered, embarrassed and in shock the more he kept talking. Did people talk so much when they had sex?
He laughed boisterously at your reaction, and you gasped when his fingers dipped into your folds.
“It’s your bad luck that you have a lecherous man for a husband.”
When Kenpachi leaned down, burying his face between your thighs, you gaped at him in shock, too stunned to react until his tongue slid over your slit. You whimpered, one hand threading through his hair, unsure of what to do.
Wet warmth glided over your entrance, and it was strange but not unpleasant. It was as if he was somehow worshipping you, especially with the look he had in his eyes, completely clouded by dark lust as he gazed at you. He dragged his tongue over every inch of skin he could reach, even delving between your folds until you felt pleasure pulsing through your veins when he prod your clit.
You moaned, long and loud, as your legs shuddered when Kenpachi pressed the tip of his tongue to your clit again. He chuckled smugly, focusing his attention on that spot, and soon turning your brain into mush. He was persistent and enthusiastic, licking and slurping like a starving man, with no shame about the mess he was making. You were completely drenched in your own arousal and his saliva, slowly dripping down your thighs and onto the sheets.
The sounds that left your mouth were uncontrollable. Even if he hadn’t commanded you to be loud, you still wouldn’t have been able to help yourself. The sparkles that traveled through your body every time his tongue dragged over your clit made you see stars, thighs jolting and attempting to squeeze his head between them if it wasn’t for one of his hands keeping you in place. The heat in your abdomen that had been steadily growing was close to bursting, muscles tightening with every move he made.
When two of his fingers effortlessly slipped inside you, you wailed, tugging harshly at his hair, as if simultaneously asking him to keep going and stop. Kenpachi only laughed quietly against your skin as he started to pump his digits, slow and hard, while attentively licking your clit.
You couldn’t have warned him about your orgasm even if you wanted to, your mind going blank before you felt your release washing over you. You let out a shaky moan when you came, toes curling and body trembling, nothing but pleasure and his name resonating in your head. Your hips stammered against his face as he kept gliding his fingers until you stopped moving, panting once he slid out his digits.
Kenpachi pulled away and you watched him lick his fingers, his leer not subduing even when he had your slick adorning his face. Wrapping one arm around your waist, he leaned down, resting his forehead over yours as he looked deep into your eyes.
“Your taste is so fucking addictive.”
He looked just as feral as he did before, or even more so. You wondered how it was possible that he had the same look on his face as he did when he was enjoying a fight; and how it was possible that it pulled at your heartstrings to see him be like that for you.
You wrapped your arms around his neck and kissed him hard, humming against his lips when you tasted yourself in them. You felt him smirk into the kiss, returning it hungrily as he rubbed his clothed erection over the damp, sensitive skin between your legs.
Kenpachi hooked his fingers under the waistband of his pants before the booming knock at the door startled you.
“Captain!” Ikkaku yelled while insistently knocking on the door.
“Fuck off!” Kenpachi hollered, making you jump in his arms.
“I can’t, Captain! Official soldiers are here!”
“Tell them to get lost!”
“Ken!” You called for him, cupping his face as he looked at you with unfocused eyes. “This is probably urgent!”
“For fuck’s sake, is the kingdom under attack?!” Kenpachi screamed at the door, making you jolt again.
“No, Captain…” Ikkaku’s unsure voice replied from the other side of the door.
“Then tell them to fucking leave!”
You laughed, pushing at his shoulders to get him off you, though he didn’t budge an inch, only looking at you with the deepest frown you’ve ever seen.
“You should go, it must be important.”
“You can’t be serious!”
When you pressed your hands against his shoulders again, Kenpachi pulled away, sitting up as you pulled the blankets over your body to cover yourself.
“I’ll still be here when you come back.” You reassured him, wrapping your hand around his arm.
You kissed him sweetly, just pressing your lips against his briefly, after all it was a small comfort, you didn’t want to tempt him.
“You better be, I can’t hold back any longer.”
You blinked, surprised.
Funny. Was he ever holding back?
“Captain!” Ikkaku yelled again urgently.
“Shut the fuck up, I’m going!”
You watched, amused, as Kenpachi sat on the edge of the bed, grumbling under his breath before getting up and putting his clothes on. He only spared you one quick glance before walking out the room, slamming the door on his way out.
You sighed, covering yourself with the blankets and furs, staring at the ceiling in awe. You were sticky, sweaty and fully drenched in between your legs, and you had an amazing orgasm yet still wanted more. It had been a difficult decision to convince him to leave when you didn’t even want him to in the first place. You wanted to see him fully bare in front of you as he climbed over your body before taking you. Just picturing a scene like that made your insides tingle.
Was what you just did, sex? You only knew so much, and you couldn’t even believe where Kenpachi’s mouth had been (but you hoped he’d do it again in the future). The main event had been postponed, and while nervousness was still in your mind, a fluttering feeling in your stomach made you excited about seeing him for the next time, the last words he said hanging in the air.

Yandere Batfamily x Neglected & "Immortal" Reader 》 IV
Part I Part II Part III
Wow, can't believe this was just a concept idea and this is part IV XD Part V may be the end but I'm not entirely sure. Don't get your hopes up for a part VI
Also, some of y'all wanted a tag list soo (Did my best but I couldn't @ some of you-)
Tag: @redkarmakai @erikasurfer @szapizzapanda @kore-of-the-underworld @imhere2dosomething @pastel-mouse @cooki3dough @naina326 @peptox @ladylupuscrow @confused-they @megasweetbones @1-800-crazy @lillian-morningstar @butterflycardigann
CW: Mention of past kidnapping, bar fight, blood, "death" and lab testing. Self-harm (Reader testing their ability). Gun shot and injury.
After you finally get Richard Grayson off your windowsill, you can sit down and eat
What makes him think that he can just walk into your life?! And with him being a vigilante, he most definitely could have saved you all that time ago!
To clear your head, you try to remember what happened before you found yourself in your “brother’s” apartment.
You and your friends wanted to go to a bar before college started…….a fight happened….How are your friends?! Did classes start already?!
Opening your group chat with your friends, there are some messages about the bar fight, Red Hood, and how they’d visit you in the hospital
When making your message for the chat, you lie about being discharged from the hospital and ask if classes have already started
Your friends are so kind and update you on everything that has happened since you were in the hospital
The fall semester has begun but you should have an excuse because you were in the hospital
With some help, you were able to email all your professors about your absence and just hope they don’t drop you from the classes
Also hope they don’t ask for any documents from the hospital to confirm that you were there.
After a bit of rambling, you and your friends log off the group chat for the night. You never told them about what actually happened to you or what you found out about Nightwing, Red Hood, etc.
The information is difficult for you to process. Your whole family are famous vigilantes and no one came to save you when you were kidnapped.
And Nightwing, he really was your first friend in Bludhaven and it always hurts to lose someone close
But he doesn’t deserve it. He doesn’t deserve your attention and time when he abandoned you just like the rest of the family.
You would have been dead if it wasn't for this weird thing that keeps your heart beating!
Maybe it would be a good idea to test this “power” of yours. You’ve died twice now and it seems that it takes a couple of days to heal and regain consciousness
Just for a small test, you make a small cut on your finger and watch it heal right before your eyes. You were hesitant to do these tests at first but this is also fascinating
Another cut is but a little bigger and it takes a little longer to heal.
This continues a few times before you can have an idea of how long it takes for your body to heal itself.
Once you’re done, you decide to go to sleep again and wait until it’s morning
Back at the manor, Tim has been hard at work. Making multiple plans that will end with you coming back home
Some are more intense than others but it can't be helped if you decide to be difficult
Tim has also spent a lot of time researching your “powers”
Back when Dick saved you from that thief, Tim took the knife with your blood on it for research
Some interesting findings can be helpful if all else fails
It’s around noon when you wake up and your professors responded to your emails
They say that you’re allowed to keep your classes but there is a lot of classwork to catch up on
After eating some lunch, you sit down and look over all the work you’ve got to do. That is a lot….
You spend all day struggling and planning how you’ll get help
The next day, you decide to go to class. You go a little early because you knew you’d likely be lost
Luck seems to be on your side because you’re able to find your classroom!
Walking inside, you talk to the professor and they tell you about a project for pairs
Thankfully, you’ve already been assigned a pair so you won’t be alone. You do feel bad about not being here to help though
The professor points you in the direction of your partner and you introduce yourself. The moment your pair looks at you, your mood immediately takes a 180
Why is Tim Drake in your class? Doesn’t he go to a college in Gotham or something?
You pretend to be polite until the professor walks away and you glare at your partner while he just smiles at you
When you sit next to Tim, you try to sit as far away from him but he just moves closer
Before you can argue with him, the professor starts talking about the assignment for the day
You try to do the assignment alone but immediately get lost and you reluctantly accept Tim’s offers to help
Tim’s explanations were quite helpful and you both finished quite quickly. The room is filled with chatter so you take this moment to interrogate your “brother”
He gives vague answers to your questions but is sure to mention that he didn't want to leave his “sibling” by themself
Before you can respond, Tim cuts you off by saying he has something for you
You watch him carefully as he shows you a familiar item
Your phone
You instinctively reach for it but Tim stops you by grabbing your wrist
Glaring at Tim and his smiling face, he says he’ll give your phone back if you’d go back to the manor for at least one night
Tim repositions his hand on your wrist to be your hands intertwined
You try to remove your hand but Tim persists. It isn't until you decline his offer does he put your hand down
You’ve lived a couple of weeks now without your phone so there is no need for it. Plus, you plan to buy a new one later
Tim doesn’t mention the family for the rest of the class
When class is over, you immediately go to the library (Almost got lost) to finish more work
You settle at an empty table near a window and take out your laptop. Of course, it doesn't take long for you to struggle with the assignment and begin feeling annoyed
(Un)Luckly, Tim has found you and offered to help
With his help, you’re able to complete a few assignments before you have another class to go to
Tim invites you to the manor again but you still decline him
You only have two classes today so you hope to get home as soon as possible before running into Tim again
This repeats for a couple of more days
Everyday, you always have Tim in one of your classes
Tim attempts to bribe you to go to the manor with him, with your phone, playing games together, some other stuff you didn’t pay attention to
At least he never bribed you with his help on your classwork. Even after you catch up on old assignments, there are just so many concepts to understand
It’s annoying but Tim has successfully squeezed himself into your life by constantly being around
Something seems to have changed though because you notice Tim has started to leave you alone more
You don’t know why but would rather not question it. He’s a vigilante, right? He probably has some work to defeat a villain or something, you can literally care less about what Tim does
One day, you’re with your friends to participate in an event on campus. There are supposed to be games and free food so why not
Before the event began, there was a speech from the sponsor of the event
The sponsor is a lab group of some kind, promoting the study of life and encouraging new findings. You don’t know what it is but something about them sends a shiver down your spine
When the speech ends, you and your friends play a few games when a person from the sponsor stopped by
You all talk a bit and answer some minor questions before the person goes to a different group of people
At the end of the event, your friends offer to drop you off at home but you decline. You don’t live that far away and you also have pepper spray to keep yourself safe
While walking a person blocks your path. It’s that same sponsor person from the event
They go into more detail about the lab group they’re in, researching life and all
You do your best to remain calm, not showing your disturbance by their sudden presence
That is until they point out how there was a bar fight in the area and a victim went missing
A victim that looks exactly like you, covered in bruises and cuts, bleeding so much that the hospital wouldn’t be able to save them
Yet here you are, in perfect condition
This is when they finally reveal their intentions, wanting to figure out how you escape death
Offering a place in the lab group as a researcher and totally not a test subject
You pretend to consider their offer while carefully taking your pepper spray out of your pocket
It seems the person planned for this because they quickly take out and shoot at your hand holding the pepper spray
Terrified, you immediately make a run for it
You’re filled with so much adrenaline that you can't hear the person shout and the other gunshots that nearly miss you
Running through multiple alleyways, something suddenly grabs you and pulls you into an almost pitch-black area
Things move quickly as an arm wrap around your waist, a whirling sound is suddenly hear above you, your feet leave the ground, and now you’re on a rooftop
You almost collapse once this new random person releases you from their hold
No longer in a dark alley, you can finally see who this new person is
Red Robin
He gives you some time to catch your breath and calm down, putting his grappling gun back on his utility belt
Once your heart rate slows to a normal pace, you’re quick to show your annoyance at seeing the vigilante
Red Robin just seems to smile at you, not showing how your words affect him in any way
When you finally give Red Robin a chance to speak, he goes straight to the point
He admits to leaking some information to that lab group, just wanting you to see how you can live on your own
Even if Red Robin didn’t tell the lab group about your ability, they would have found out eventually
That’s what happened to your mother after all
The vigilante then gives you two options
You can go with the research team and be tested on for the rest of your life or you can have a life back at the manor
Hell, there is a chance that your family of vigilantes can find and save your mother. Allowing you to reunite
As long as you returned home
With your two options, you find yourself back at Dick’s apartment
Dick bandaging up your hand, Jason carrying a box with stuff from your apartment, and Tim contacting Bruce

(secret) santa, baby - part 4 of a shigaraki x f!reader fic
Shigaraki doesn't want to participate in the office's Secret Santa exchange, but when Toga promises to make it easy on him, he gives in. But making it easy for him makes it a lot harder for you -- you're the one who got his list. Office AU, no quirks. A fic in 12 parts. Divider by @ wcnderlnds
part i part ii part iii part iv part v part vi
part iv (caroling)
Prior to getting assigned to be Shigaraki’s Secret Santa, you’d never been down to the basement where the IT department works, but in your efforts to scope out his workspace, figure out what amenities he’s missing, and hide gifts, you’ve gotten to know your way around pretty well. That comes back to bite you when the head of HR has a mini-meltdown about how full the IT guys’ mailboxes are, and Mirio, who you liked right up until then, volunteered you to hand-deliver the IT department’s mail.
You argued. “It’s my lunch break –”
“I will clear the following half hour on your schedule,” the head of HR said. You’re kind of scared of him, and it seemed like a good deal to you. You nodded. “Go.”
So here you are, with a giant carton full of six months of every IT specialist’s mail, plus a gift you’re hoping to hide for Shigaraki if you get a chance, picking your way through the cubicles and dropping off mail. The head of the IT department has been out on vacation since before you got hired, and the rest of the department has been using his office as a dumping ground for – everything, it looks like. You add his mail to the top of the pile and start delivering mail to the people who are actually here.
There aren’t a ton of them. Three of them are women – Saiko, Hatsume, and Aiba, whose cubicles are just as horrendously messy as the guys' cubicles are, only brightly colored. All three of them have Secret Santa gifts in their mail, and Aiba has a letter for you to bring back up to the mailroom. “That’s for her boyfriend,” Saiko informs you as she delicately unwraps her gift. “They’re in love.”
“He’s perfect,” Aiba says, beaming. “I just know he’s my Secret Santa. He won’t admit it, but all my gifts have been so thoughtful – and fancy!”
“Too fancy,” Hatsume puts in. She tossed her gift onto the pile of memos on her desk, where it joined at least one other unopened gift. Hatsume’s Secret Santa must be having a rough time. “He’s overdoing it.”
“Exactly! Who would overdo it but him?”
You leave them to discuss it and move to the next desk – Chikazoku’s. He accepts his mail without looking up or saying a word, and you move on in a hurry. Ishiyama is out sick, but he has a ton of mail and a Secret Santa gift. Next up is Spinner, who you couldn’t have picked out of a lineup two weeks ago, but who you’re now aware is Shigaraki’s best friend. Spinner has a lot of mail and a Secret Santa gift, and like Aiba, he has something he wants you to take up and mail for him.
His isn’t a letter, though. It’s a Secret Santa gift, clumsily wrapped. His face is flushed as he hands it over, and he speaks so quietly you have to lean in to hear. “That’s for Aiba.”
The conversation from before recontextualizes itself in a hurry. You feel a pang of sympathy for Spinner. “Yeah. No problem.”
He glances into your carton. “You might want to come back later for Shigaraki. He’s on a call and it’s, uh –”
Shigaraki’s voice issues from the next cubicle over, about as pissed off as he sounded when he gave himself a paper cut trying to hang up snowflakes. “The reason your cursor’s moving is because I have remote control of your computer,” he says. “It’s not a virus.”
Whoever’s on the other end of the line starts talking again, and Shigaraki cuts them off. “It’s not a virus,” he says again. “The problem isn’t on your computer’s end. Is your mouse plugged in?”
As you watch, Spinner types up a Slack message and sends it to Shigaraki: SPEAKER. A moment later, the caller’s voice echoes through the room. “My mouse is wireless.”
“Do me a favor and look at your mouse,” Shigaraki says. “Does it have a cord sticking out the back of it?”
Silence for a second. “Why?”
“If it has a cord attached, it’s not wireless,” Shigaraki says. It sounds like he’s speaking through clenched teeth. “Now follow the cord and tell me whether it’s plugged in or not.”
“Of course it’s not plugged in,” the caller says. “I needed a port for my webcam.”
Hatsume and Saiko both start snickering. Spinner is shaking his head. From the other side of the cubicle, you hear a thud, like Shigaraki’s hitting his head against the desk. “Why did you think your mouse would work if it wasn’t plugged in?”
“I thought it was wireless.”
“Even if it was wireless, it would still need a port, so –”
“You don’t need to take that tone with me, young man,” the caller says severely. Spinner wheezes. “It’s a common mistake.”
“Yeah. And I bet you’d iron your clothes while wearing them if there wasn’t a warning label saying not to,” Shigaraki says. You clamp your hand down over your mouth to stifle your laughter and almost drop the carton. “Is there anything else I can help you with today?”
It’s quiet for a second. “I want to talk to your supervisor.”
“Right away.” The call ends with a click, and the phone in the department head’s office starts to ring. There’s another, louder thud. “Fucking shoot me already.”
“It could be worse,” Spinner says. Shigaraki makes a questioning sound. “We could actually have a supervisor to complain to.”
You’ve always thought Shigaraki was kind of a dick for no reason. Now that you know what kind of calls he’s getting, you can’t exactly judge him. Before you can step out of hiding and hand him his mail, the elevator dings, and a bunch of people pile out of it, led by Yamada, head of the PR department. They’re all wearing reindeer ears and holding songbooks. “Put your hands up if you’re ready to get festive!”
You’ve never worked somewhere with an in-house choir before, but apparently the head of PR is a DJ in his off hours, and he also organizes an acapella group that goes around Christmas caroling during the holiday season. The IT department reacts like a bunch of rabbits who just heard a twig snap. All of them, Chikazoku included, grab their lunches and flee to the opposite side of the office, up the stairwell and out of sight.
It’s too late for Shigaraki to get clear. The carolers form a semi-circle around him, cutting off his escape routes. “Lucky you. You get us all to yourself,” the head of PR says. “Any requests?”
“Yeah. Stop. And leave.”
“Ooh, somebody’s not in the holiday spirit! I’ve got the perfect song for you,” the head of PR says. Somebody produces a pitch pipe, plays a note, and the singing starts up a moment later. The song choice makes you cringe. “You’re a mean one, Mr. Grinch. You really are a heel! You’re as cuddly as a cactus, you’re as charming as an eel, Mr. Grinch –”
You peek over the cubicle and see Shigaraki sitting there, shoulders hunched, face and ears red. He looks miserable, and you make up your mind in a second. “Stop it,” you say loudly, and everyone jumps. “That’s mean.”
“Hi there, listener!” Yamada says, at a volume that’s way too high for the situation at hand. “Did you have a request?”
“If you have to sing, don’t sing that song,” you say. “It’s mean.”
“It’s the perfect song,” Yamada says. “There’s a whole Christmas carol just for people who hate the holidays and want to ruin everybody else’s fun –”
“He just said he didn’t want you to sing to him,” you say. You feel like you’ve waded into something you maybe shouldn’t have, but you’re not going to back off. “That’s not the same thing as hating the holidays and wanting to ruin everybody’s fun.”
“Well, he definitely killed our vibe. Right, guys?” Yamada glances around at the rest of the carolers. Some of them are nodding. A few of them look kind of guilty. “It kind of hurts our feelings when we don’t get to sing. So you have to do something for us to restart our holiday spirit.”
“And then you’ll leave,” Shigaraki clarifies.
“And then we’ll leave,” Yamada says. He’s got a nasty grin on his face. “We’ll leave you alone for the rest of the holiday season if – drumroll, guys –”
The rest of the carolers come up with a drumroll. Shigaraki’s recovered from the embarrassment enough to roll his eyes. “If one of you sings a song for us,” Yamada says. Shigaraki blanches from red to white. “You owe us a Christmas carol.”
One look at Shigaraki tells you there’s no way he’s going for this. You can’t picture him singing at all, let alone under pressure and in front of an audience. You don’t do really well under pressure. You don’t know very many Christmas carols. And you don’t think you’ve sung anywhere that wasn’t your shower since you were in high school. But you know by the look on Yamada’s face that he’s not going to back off, and you don’t want to spend the next two weeks getting ambushed by acapella carolers. It’s up to you.
“Fine,” you say. Shigaraki looks up. “I’ll sing a song for you.”
“The floor is yours,” Yamada says. His grin looks a little less nasty than it did a second ago, but you still feel like you’re making a big mistake. “Lay it on us, listener!”
You don’t know very many Christmas carols, but of the ones you know, there’s only one you can remember most of the words to. You cough a couple times, clutch the mail carton for dear life, and suck down a deep breath. “I don’t want a lot for Christmas –” You’re immediately cut off with a lot of snapping from the carolers. Yamada is giving you a thumbs up, so you keep going, trying not to think about how badly your voice is wavering. “There is just one thing I need, and I don’t care about the presents underneath the Christmas tree...”
The carolers are humming along, which is nice of them. Maybe this way you can stay on key. “I just want you for my own, more than you could ever know. Make my wish come true –” You suck down a breath, using it as an excuse to cut off the high note early. “All I want for Christmas is you.”
You’re hoping that will be it. Praying that’ll be it. But instead the carolers hop in with the backing track, and Yamada is gesturing for you to keep singing, and the only thing you can think of that would be worse than having to sing the rest of this song is having to start over. You find the note again and keep singing, up-tempo this time. You can do this, right? This is as embarrassing as it’s going to get.
You forget the lyrics to the second verse, but the carolers help you out, and you can tell by their expressions – and Yamada’s – that they’re having the kind of spontaneous holiday-season fun they’re after. This does feel like something that would happen in a Christmas movie, or it would, if it was happening to anybody but you. The fact that all of this is happening right in front of Shigaraki’s desk is making it even worse. So much for him not hating you as much as everybody else. This has probably sealed the deal.
When the song finally ends, you’ve sweated through your blouse and your cardigan and your face is probably bright red. Yamada is grinning. “Now we’re back in the mood, listener!” he proclaims. “You’ve got a decent voice. We’ll come find you when practice starts next year!”
Once they’ve piled back into the elevator, you lean back against the wall of Spinner’s cubicle, then sink slowly to the floor, carton in your lap and hands pressed to your face. Shigaraki’s voice issues from the next cubicle over. “It would have been over faster if you let them sing the first song.”
“There were going to be five more verses just like that one,” you say. “You shouldn’t have to sit through that just because you don’t like people singing at you.”
“I can take it.”
You remember how red his face was. How unhappy he looked. “No, you can’t.”
That was the wrong thing to say, but you’re too out of breath to walk it back. You need to get out of here before you get yourself in any more trouble. You get to your knees, then to your feet. “What are you doing down here, anyway?” Shigaraki asks. “Most people don’t know where this place is.”
“You all never check your mail, so I was playing postman,” you say. You look down into the carton. “I’ve got some stuff for you here.”
You unload the mail onto the corner of Shigaraki’s desk a few pieces at a time, saving your latest Secret Santa present for last. Shigaraki gives it a suspicious look. “Where did that come from?”
“It was in your mailbox,” you lie. “I thought I would bring it down with everything else.”
You set it on the desk, on top of everything else, and turn to go. You can probably go a few more days without giving him another gift. As far as you’re concerned, rescuing him from the Grinch song should count as a gift all on its own. You might not be homemaking your Secret Santa gifts, or wrapping them so prettily that the package looks like a gift all on its own, but no one can say you aren’t putting the effort in. Not that Shigaraki will notice.
He speaks up while you’re waiting for the elevator. “Five more verses?”
“Yeah. Why?”
“Nothing,” Shigaraki says. Then, as the elevator doors are closing behind you: “Thanks.”
Maybe he still hates you less than everybody else. You’re surprised to find yourself smiling at the thought.

PART III.
Like Tsireya said, Ao’nung did come the next morning. In his tow is his ever loyal companion, Roxto. Ao’nung gave you a look and pulled you back as you watch Tsireya lead the Sullys into the water. As you turn to look at Ao’nung, you didn’t catch the worried glance Neteyam sent your way as Tuk pulled him away.
“I heard from one of the boys that you joined Tsireya? Are the freaks that hard to teach that she asked you for help?” He asked, voice low as he stared at you.
You found yourself staring defiantly at him, something you usually would refrain to do in respect for the Olo-eyktan’s son, but you are not as patient was you were before. “Quit it, Ao’nung. Have some respect. If you didn’t ditch Tsireya and actually did what the Olo-eyktan told you to do, then we wouldn’t be here in this situation. I’m doing what you are supposed to do, skxawng.” You took your arm out of his grasp with an annoyed hiss, giving him a glare as you looked back at Neteyam’s group.
Ao’nung looked at you for a few seconds, grumbling to himself as Roxto interjected.
“They are even worse than babies! They should just go back to the forest, tree hugging freaks…”
Your blood boiled with rage. You believe deep in your heart that Roxto is not a bad person, but he kept challenging these beliefs with his terrible words, and it angers you that Ao’nung allows this to happen. With a frown, you kicked Roxto in his knees, making him almost kneeling. “Stop calling them freaks, Roxto! Don’t make me report your behavior to the Tsahik!”
Roxto wanted to retort as he grimaced and grunted with pain. He was stopped by Ao’nung’s hand. If there’s one thing that can deter these arrogant boys, it’s the Tsahik. With a prick of a sharp object, she can make them paralyzed for days.
Glancing at you for a few seconds, Ao’nung finally spoke. “Fine. Let’s see what these babies can do.”
He didn't even wait for you as he marched towards Tsireya and the Sully children. Roxto gave you a complicated glance before following after Ao’nung like he had replaced the latter’s tail.
Knowing his arrogant nature, you suddenly began doubting whether it was good to bring Ao’nung into this. You should've let him slack off like he wanted, instead of indirecting pulling him in and letting him cause trouble for the newbies.
It's probably fine, right? Tsireya's there to keep them in check.
“Ao’nung, it's nice to finally be in your presence, brother.” Neteyam greeted Ao’nung, then glanced at you in the back, your gazes intertwined for a few seconds.
“Hey,” he greeted you which you reciprocated with a soft hi.
Ao’nung sneered, not bothering to greet back Neteyam as he walked into the water. “You even managed to get her to help you out. It seems that you guys are truly hopeless little babies.”
Tsireya glared at Ao’nung, “Stop being mean and start actually doing something, tsmukan.”
You ignored the two and smiled at the remaining Sully children. Tuk smiled back as she embraced Kiri in the water. Kiri gave you a small reserved smile, but it was still progress. The first time you met her, she barely acknowledged you. Lo’ak was still the same, nodding at you with a smile before giving his brother strange looks.
Walking towards Neteyam, you tamed your wild heartbeat and gently asked. “I’m going to teach you the the final basics of breath-holding. This will be the most crucial part of learning how to stay alive for a long time underwater.”
Neteyam nodded, leaning closer to you as Kiri and Tuk swam towards where Tsireya was located. It was when you finally realized that you had made a mistake. That you approached Neteyam instead of Tuk, separating yourself and Neteyam from the group. You spotted Ao’nung giving you a look that commands you to follow him, but you ignored it.
You looked at Neteyam who looked back at you with calm eyes. If not for his tail flicking and ears perked up, you wouldn't have picked on the fact that he’s actually very eager to learn.
It made you feel less nervous. He enjoys this, and it makes you feel happy.
“F-Follow me then.”
Neteyam gave you a smile, almost teasingly, but there’s still a hint of hesitation as if he was afraid you’d be offended. “Yes, Karyu~”
As you were about to pull his hand, you heard someone yell. “Wait!” Ao’nung approached you two, looking at Neteyam. You can feel the tension picking up as Neteyam gave Ao’nung an unreadable glance. “I’ll come with you. I’ll teach this forest boy,”
“Kehe!” You shouted unconsciously, earning everyone’s attention. You saw Tsireya looking over, seemingly worried.
Ao’nung’s eyes narrowed at you. “Why? I’m the one that supposed to teach these guys, not you.”
“Oh come on, Ao’nung. You don’t even know what to teach. Just go away, help Tsireya or whatever. I can handle this.”
Ao’nung looked surprised with what you said. In fact he didn’t expect for you to refuse him and his help, making him feel flustered for some reason he cannot name.
He didn't seem convinced so you communicated with Tsireya with your fingers. Without hesitation, Tsireya walked briskly and pulled Ao’nung. “Leave her alone, tsmukan. You’ll just distract her.”
Ao’nung looked between you and Neteyam before roughly pulling away from Tsireya’s grasp. Watching him walking away, you also felt complicated. You didn’t even know why you’re so against him being present with your lessons with Neteyam.
Neteyam looked at you before looking at Ao’nung’s back, golden eyes narrowing. “That finger talk, it looks interesting.”
You were awakened from you reverie by his voice. “Yeah, it’s something that reef people must learn, you know, to communicate underwater. If you want I can teach you once we finish the swimming lessons. O-only if you want.”
Neteyam smiled at you, watching your face as it started to look different in shade. “I’d like that.”
On a rock, you sat face to face with Neteyam, trying not to look at his face. Your knees were touching his, you can even feel the temperature that radiated off him, his gentle breaths, the swish of his tail, and the twitching of his ears.
“C-Can I touch you?”
“What?!”
Neteyam’s reaction surprised you. He looked disbelieving as he looked at you with wide golden eyes. He looked genuinely shocked at your question, making you question whether you actually said something inappropriate.
Raising your palms, you tried to explain in haste. “I-I’m sorry. I just wanted to help you understand the basics, but it would require me g-guiding your stomach and chest..."
Now it was his turn to get flustered, hastily avoiding your eyes as he stuttered. “O-oh, okay. Go ahead.”
You tried hard not to let your hand shake, you don’t even know why you are so nervous. You have taught alot of children to get better in breath-holding, so teaching wasn’t new to you. But facing someone like Neteyam messes you up.
With all of your courage, you gently touched the space between his ribs and his stomach. “Take a deep breath here,”
Neteyam inhaled slowly, but he cannot reach form you want to see with his heartbeat being as wild as yours. Your hand shook, and you knew he felt it. You tried to get everything under control but your hand is not listening to you. So you just let it be, and relished at the strong heartbeat under your fingertips.
What a strong heartbeat. A heartbeat of a warrior.
You tried to stifle the smile that’s threatening to emerge in your lips. You cannot show, so you tried to act as if nothing’s wrong. “Neteyam, y-your heart’s beating so fast. Mawey…”
Neteyam stiffened under your hand, his temperature rising in embarrassment. “...I’m sorry, let me try again.”
Listening to the heartbeat and the gentle waves of the water, you gently said. “You must be calm but strong, like the coean. Inhale…”
You can feel Neteyam’s gaze travelling on your facial features, his gaze held a searing heat and you can feel your face burning up because of it. “Exhale, Neteyam.”
“The way of water has no beginning and no end, the sea is around you and in you…water connect all things, life to death, darkness to light…”
Your gaze met with Neteyam’s, intertwined, as the sound of your heartbeats drowned your voice out. In this moment, there’s no ocean, no waves, no breeze. There’s only you and Neteyam, with your heartbeats thrumming in sync.
Neteyam cannot sleep. In the darkness, he silently walked out of his family’s marui to walk along the shore. It was deep into the eclipse, with only the bioluminescent corals under water as his light. No matter how hard he tried to sleep, his mind is always filled with you face, your smile, your voice, your eyes that is full of unsaid words. He cannot stop thinking about you, even when he kept trying to convince himself that there’s nothing so special about you. You’re just a regular reef na’vi, with a rather reserved and quiet personality.
So Neteyam didn’t really believe Lo’ak when that skxawng told him that he probably liked you that’s why he cannot take you out of his mind. Because if he really likes someone, isn’t Tsireya the most suitable person?
Neteyam isn’t a shallow person, but as the son of the most well-known warrior, he grew up with arrogance natural for his standing and achievements. Someone like Tsireya would be more suitable for him to like, she’s the olo-eyktan’s daughter with good-looks and kind personality. Although he didn’t really like her, he knew that it was only natural if he would fall for her.
Not you. He still doesn’t believe that he had fallen for you. It must have been short-term curiosity for an elusive and mysterious person like you. Heck, he didn’t even know anything about you aside from the fact that you are Tsireya and Ao’nung’s close companion and you study under the awa’atlu’s Tsahik.
So why?
“What why, ma’itan?”
Neteyam almost jumped into the water when Neytiri’s voice rang behind him. “Mom, what are you doing here?!”
Neytiri gave him a pointed glance before sitting beside him in the sand. “I should be the one asking that, Neteyam. What are YOU doing here? In this hour?”
Neteyam looked away and avoided his mother’s eyes. He should’ve known that she’s still awake, or at least alert enough to wake up with just simple movements. When it comes to stealth, she’s always the best in the family.
“Nothing, mom. I-I’m just thinking about the lessons.”
Neytiri hummed, looking at the calm waters and the bright bioluminescent reefs. “Thinking about the lessons, or the person giving the lessons?”
Neteyam almost choked in his own saliva. With embarrassment, he hissed. “Mom! Don’t tell me you also believe Lo’ak and Tuk’s nonsense!”
His mother chuckled as she hugged her oldest son’s shoulder. “Is it really nonsense? There still must be a reason why they said that. Your sister Kiri also told me you were having fun with her today, totally forgetting your siblings.”
Are they for real? Even you, Kiri? Neteyam grimaced. “They’re jumping into conclusions. I-I, W-we’re just friends. I don’t like her like that. I barely know her.”
The woman smiled at her son’s embarrassed appearance. “I didn’t say you like her.”
This time, Neteyam was truly silenced. He didn’t know what to say.
“When I first met your father, I wanted to kill him. There’s anger and hatred for him and his kind in my heart, but I must admit there’s something complex in there too. Something I cannot explain before. Who would’ve thought we’ll come this far? With four lovely children.”
Neteyam looked at his mother before looking down at the sand on his feet. “You and dad told us about your love story million times already.”
“But do you understand what I mean, ma’itan? What I want you to understand is that there’s no use dwelling on thoughts that Eywa clearly hasn’t given you answers for. Wait for everything to unfold, and while doing so, have fun. Experience life with Eywa’s guidance, you know Eywa has plans for you. Don’t think about it too much. Like your father once said, go with the flow.”
Neytiri loves her son, she loves all her children. Neteyam is still young, but since he was young enough to understand, expectations are already heavy on his shoulders. So although, she does not know you enough to trust you with Neteyam’s heart, she’s still happy to help her son out if it means he’ll get the fun time he, as a young boy, deserves. It’s the least thing she can do for him as his mother.
Neteyam watched his mother walked back to their marui, before sighing deeply and standing up. Perhaps this time he can finally get some rest. May Eywa guide him in this confusing times.
You knew something was wrong when you didn’t see Ao’nung and his friends in their usual spot. So against your better judgement, you ran to the place you knew the Sully’s would be. You didn’t even know why you were running and feeling anxious, but when you saw Ao’nung and his friends picking on Kiri, you knew your intuition were spot on.
“Hey! Back off, fish lips!” Lo’ak shouted, making Ao’nung and his friends turn their attention to him.
Seeing who it was, Ao’nung laughed. “Oh, another four-fingered freak~”
One of Ao’nung’s friends grabbed Lo’ak tail, laughing as he pulled it hard. “Look at this baby tail!”
Despite Lo’ak pushing them away, they kept mocking him, calling his tail baby tail in sing–song voice. They ignored Kiri’s plea, so you ran and pushed one of Ao’nung’s friends. “Enough! Stop this!”
Ao’nung looked at you and sneered. “What are YOU doing here? Move and don’t meddle with our business!”
“This is MY business! You’re being too much, Ao’nung! What you are doing is disgraceful!”
Your words seem to have an effect on Ao’nung as he became visibly angry. He walked in front of you and pointed Lo’ak and Kiri. “You really like this freaks, huh? Pissing me off and siding with these tree-hugging fr—”
A rough push from behind you forces Ao’nung to take several steps back. You didn’t have to turn around to see who it was as his voice rang above your head, low and dangerous. “You heard what she said. Leave them alone. Back. Off. Now.”
Ao’nung’s friends wanted to speak, but Ao’nung held his hand up, staring straight to Neteyam.
As you were about to move aside, Neteyam’s hand landed on you shoulder, making you immobile. “And from now on, you need to respect my siblings.”
His voice hinted his authority over Ao’nung, for he was a full-fledged warrior. You felt relief with his presence. Thankfully, no one got hurt, at least physically.
Ao’nung and his friends stared at Neteyam, while Kiri stuck her tongue out in mockery. Seeing their expression, Neteyam finally removed his hand on your shoulder, as if to urge you to walk back with him to his siblings.
You can feel Ao’nung’s stare in your back as you walked with Neteyam. Sure enough, one of his friends complained. “Brother, why is she helping this family of freaks? Isn’t she supposed to be in your side, not these fr–”
You froze, making Neteyam look at you questioningly. Lo’ak, who’s nearest to Ao’nungs group finally snapped and began walking back. It made Neteyam curse under his breath, knowing full well what’s about to go down.
“Lo’ak,” Neteyam called, both worried and warning his brother to not make trouble.
“I got this bro,” Lo’ak looked at Ao’nung straight in the face. “I know this hand looks funny. Look, I’m a freak, alien,”
Ao’nung and his friends laughed, but Lo’ak continued. “But I can do something really cool. First, I ball it up real tight like this. Then—”
BAM! BAM! BAM!
“That’s called a punch, bitch!”
You gasps as Ao’nung fell on the water, looking astonished. He and his face immediately charged and tackled Lo’ak, making Neteyam join the fight. You tried holding his forearm to stop him, but you missed.
The fight become chaotic. Pulling, kicking, slapping. Just one big mess, as you heard Kiri giggle in the background. You tried pulling Ao’nung away from Neteyam, but got hit in the face in the process. Both Ao’nung and Neteyam pause, before fighting even more ferociously.
“Stop! Enough!” Tonowari’s voice boomed, stopping all the commotion in just few words.
Oh, Eywa, what a mess.
Neteyam winced as his tongue made contact with his cut. Some parts of his body was aching, but like that night, he find it hard to sleep again. He suddenly missed their life in the forest, where no one would dare to pick on him and his family, where people genuinely treats them with respect, where he was still the olo-eyktan’s son.
“Neteyam,” He didn’t turn around. He knew it was you before you even called his name.
You sat down beside him, he didn’t look at you but he also didn’t move away. Neteyam waited for you to speak.
“Can I help you with your cut?”
Neteyam looked at you for a second and saw the concern in your eyes. It didn’t escape his eyes, the bruise on your cheek. His stomach flipped, feeling upset. He found it hard to refuse, so he relented. “Fine. Only if you allow me to help you back with that nasty bruise.”
You smiled. “Sure.” You felt nervous touching his face, but your concern for him won over your anxiety. With gentle touch, you spread the salve on the cut on his lips, trying not to look in his eyes in fear that you’ll lose focus. For a moment, you relished in the silence between you and Neteyam, fully immersed in each other’s company.
“You don’t have to compensate for Ao’nung, it is not your fault.” He broke the silence when you finished putting salve in his lips.
You paused before smiling at him as you looked into his eyes. You know you had to, so he’ll know you are saying the truth. “Believe it or not, I’m not doing this for that skxawng. I’m not here to compensate for his terrible personality and bad decisions, I-I…”
You paused, suddenly uncertain if you should continue. You continued anyway. “...I’m doing this for m-me. Because I c-care for you.”
Neteyam’s heart thrummed against his chest, but he tried playing it off as he chuckled nervously. “...I’m sorry, I thought…”
You waved your hands. “I’m sure you have an idea now, about you know? My identity.” You didn’t wait for him to respond as you gazed at the ocean, smiling wryly to yourself.
“I’m the only child of my warrior father and a weaver mother. They both died when awa’atlu was attacked by a group of akulas. I was an ‘eveng, so my grandfather took me. He’s an elder trusted by the Olo-eyktan, but he’s often away doing trades with the other nearby clans. He arranged me with Ao’nung in hopes of securing my future. No one asked me what I wanted, no one cared. But Neteyam…this is a shackle, not a path for the future.”
You don’t expect Neteyam to understand, but he did anyway. At first, his fingers grazed with yours, until he slowly intertwined his fingers with yours. You looked at him, too many unspoken words you cannot say, because if you do, it may ruin you and Neteyam’s life forever.
“Oel ngati kameie,” He whispered, as he gazed back at you. “As the son of Toruk Makto, everyone’s expectation of me was to surpass or at least become as mighty as my father. I love my family, and I’d do everything for them. But it gets tiring too, you know? Being expected to accomplish this and that, without a second to breathe. I’d still do it though, if it means keeping my family together.”
Your admiration for Neteyam grew even stronger. You can never be like him, who’s brave enough to do what must be done for the sake of his loved ones. “I admire you. At least you are brave enough to face it, while all I do is run.”
His grip on your hand tightened. “You can still change it, no?”
You didn’t reply, and Neteyam doesn’t seem to expect any. He just took the salve in your hands and began spreading it on your bruised cheek. “Little miss protector, always remember not to interrupt boys fighting okay?”
You giggled and it made him chuckle. When he was finished, he secured the salve in your satchel and urged you to go sleep. You were reluctant, but still nodded. You want Neteyam to have a rest.
After a few steps, you ran back and stood face to face with him, “Can we meet tomorrow here, same time? I want you to see something special to me.”
Neteyam didn’t hesitate and agreed with a smile. He brushed a stray hair and tucked it in your ears. “Sure. I’ll see you tomorrow then.”
“Oel ngati kamiei, Neteyam.” Then, you ran to your marui without looking back, feeling giddiness you have never felt before, unaware of the pair of eyes watching you and Neteyam from afar.

Sleepy Tokens: Falling asleep in their beds (headcannons)
Part of my Sleep Token as Roommates headcannons. When you live with the boys, you sometimes find yourself spending the night in their beds.
Vessel: Openly asks you to go to bed with him. No reason other than that he wants you there. He sleeps shirtless, of course, so you will spend the night tracing the lines of his chest and abs (which he absolutely eats up) He also loves to hold your hand while he spoons you (he is the best big spoon ever), playing with your fingers. He will tell you stories, speaking softly in your ear, but you are never quite sure if they are true or made up. If you ask him really nicely (he really makes you beg), he might even sing you a lullaby.
II: You end up in II’s bed after a hard day. Anytime something has upset you or made you sad, II is the one you go to for comfort. He will wrap you up in his arms, wiping away your tears. If you want to talk, he will make you both tea to sip while you vent. Otherwise, he will simply hold you and let you cry, and will encourage you to stay with him the whole night so he can take care of you. (He has a little kitty cat stuffed animal that he will loan to you to cuddle.) When he thinks you’re asleep, he might even place soft kisses on your head, hoping you will have a better day tomorrow.
III: III’s not-so-secret plan is to get you to watch scary movies with him, knowing you will get scared and come sleep in his room. He LOVES having you in his bed. He’s all snuggles and giggles, giving you little kisses on your head and neck, and playing footsy with you. Sleeping in III’s bed doesn’t actually involve much sleeping — he will want to talk to you, telling you goofy stories and jokes so you forget to be scared, or making up random games to play as you lay together. He loves when you put your head on his chest, as he likes the way your hair smells, and he will run his fingers through it, eventually lulling you both to sleep.
IV: You go to IV’s room when you are cold, either in the winter when it gets drafty, or in the summer when the boys have cranked the AC (because of course, they’re always hot). He is always perfectly warm. IV will wrap you up tightly in his arms, with his chest pressed against you. If you’re especially cold, he’ll dress you in one of his hoodies (which always smell good, just like him) and a pair of his big socks before pulling you under the covers. He even keeps a heated blanket on hand for you on those nights that are especially chilly. He will gently rub your arms until you warm up and fall asleep, and hold you close all night long.

Gojo Satoru x Fem!Reader
Here is part IV my lovelies! I hope you enjoy! Also, if you have any requests for me, or just wanna talk, please feel free to do so! I love hearing from you all! Part I Part II Part III
Word count: 4.5k Warnings: none
"Y/n..." Toru muttered under his breath, barely audible to anyone around him. The sound of your name was like a bitter pill, stuck in his throat. His eyes followed your every move as you exited the cafeteria, a mixture of confusion and sadness clouding his mind. Determined to understand what was happening, Toru decided to follow you, keeping a safe distance so as not to be noticed. He couldn’t shake the feeling that something deeper was going on, something he wasn’t seeing. The thought of you slipping away from him filled him with a gnawing sense of dread.
You made your way down the hallway, each step echoing in Toru’s ears like a countdown to something he feared. As you pushed open the door to the school courtyard, he saw Kai waiting there, a sight that made his heart sink further. It felt like a betrayal, seeing you spend so much time with Kai, often more than with him. It was like you and Kai were best friends instead of you and him. In fact, seeing how close you two were, it seemed like Kai was becoming more than just a friend to you. The thought made Toru’s chest tighten with jealousy, a sharp pang that left him breathless.
You approached Kai with a smile, one that seemed more genuine than the one you had shown in the cafeteria. This smile reached your eyes, making them sparkle in a way that Toru hadn’t seen in a while. “Hey, Kai. You ready?” you asked, your voice light and encouraging. Kai nodded, fidgeting nervously with his hands, his anxiety palpable even from a distance.
“Yeah…I’m just…nervous. I mean, what if she says no?” he asked, his worry evident in every word. His body was tense, and his eyes darted around as if searching for reassurance.
You smiled softly at him and took his hands in yours, your touch meant to reassure him. You leaned in closer, speaking softly so only he could hear. “Trust me, Kai. After all this time of trying to get you and her alone, it’s obvious she has feelings towards you as well. Plus, you two have so much in common. I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone talk about K-dramas as much as you two. It’s honestly so adorable,” you said, chuckling a bit to lighten the mood.
Toru watched from afar, his heart breaking at the sight of you being so touchy with Kai. His fists clenched involuntarily at the scene before him. It was supposed to be Y/n and Satoru, not Y/n and Kai! The thought of losing you to someone else felt like a knife twisting in his heart. It doesn’t even sound as good, he thought bitterly.
“Okay, now start. We’ll do some patching up if we need to,” you encouraged Kai, your eyes shining with determination and hope.
Toru edged closer, staying hidden behind a tree as he strained to hear your conversation. He couldn’t stand the thought of missing a single word.
“Okay…well. I’ve been thinking about this…about you. A lot. You make me feel so warm and calm whenever I am with you. When you come up to me, I feel my heart race. It beats so fast I feel like I could actually die,” Kai started, his voice trembling with nerves.
You snorted, trying to stifle your laughter. “Too much?” Kai asked, looking concerned, his eyes searching yours for validation.
“No, no. Keep going. I like it,” you spoke, making Toru frown even more. Your words were like daggers to his already wounded heart.
“Well…I really like you. And…I’m just gonna skip to the main part…will you allow me to take you to the dance…and allow me the pleasure of being your boyfriend?” Kai finally asked, his voice filled with hope and desperation.
Toru felt like everything around him paused. His breath was held in his throat, begging to be released from the tension. The thoughts of you and Kai being together was something he never wanted to imagine. Thoughts of you two laughing with one another, hugging one another, kissing one another…it was all too much for him.
Toru shook his head, trying to dispel the growing fear. There was no way you’d accept Kai's proposal. After all, Kai was nothing compared to the one and only Satoru Go-
“Of course I’ll go out with you!” you spoke, your voice filled with genuine excitement. Toru deflated within seconds. He felt his heart shatter at your words, the pieces scattering like broken glass. This was a dream, right? Any minute he would wake up, go back to school, and be with you. Right? RIGHT?!?!
But it wasn’t. No matter how much he wished for it to be a dream, he knew it was real life. The reality of your words hit him harder than any physical blow ever could.
Not wanting to hear anything else, he quickly teleported out of the school, desperate to distract himself from the pain he was feeling. The world around him blurred as he sought solace in the only way he knew how, trying to outrun the ache in his heart.
As Toru reappeared in a secluded spot far from the school, he tried to steady his breathing. The pain in his chest was unbearable, a gnawing emptiness that refused to go away. He slumped against a tree, the bark rough against his back, and let out a frustrated scream, hoping the sound would somehow alleviate the hurt. But it didn’t. The image of you accepting Kai’s confession replayed in his mind like a cruel loop.
Meanwhile, back at the school, you and Kai continued your conversation, oblivious to Toru’s turmoil.
“Thank you so much, Y/n. I don’t think I could have done it without you,” Kai said, relief washing over him. He looked at you with gratitude, his eyes softening as the tension left his body.
“Don’t mention it, Kai. I’m really happy for you. Amai is going to be thrilled,” you replied, giving his hand a reassuring squeeze. “Just be yourself, and everything will be perfect.”
The bell rang, signaling the end of lunch break. You and Kai exchanged a few more words before heading to your respective classes. Toru, meanwhile, spent the rest of the day in a daze, barely able to concentrate on his classes. The hours dragged on, each one feeling like an eternity. He avoided you and Kai, not trusting himself to keep his emotions in check if he saw you together. Thankfully for him, Sensei Yaga decided to postpone the practice exam until tomorrow…so at least he would get some time to himself. To try and recollect his emotions.
He loved you… but he hated you at the same time. The conflicting emotions tore at his heart every time he thought about you. He wanted to be the one to take you to the dance, to feel the warmth of your hand in his under the twinkling lights of the gymnasium. He imagined holding you close during the slow songs, feeling your heartbeat against his chest. He longed to be the one who dipped you down, held the back of your head in his hand, and then leaned down to finally, finally kiss you. At that moment, he would finally confess his love for you. This vision played out in his mind countless times, each scenario ending in a perfect, romantic moment that made his heart ache with longing.
But now… all of that was tossed down the drain after you said yes to Kai. The dream shattered, replaced by a painful reality that gnawed at him with every passing second. He felt a sharp sting of betrayal, mixed with the bitterness of unfulfilled desires. The thought of you in Kai’s arms was unbearable, yet he couldn’t escape it.
——
The next day had arrived and you and the class were out training as usual, preparing for the training exam. The field was filled with the sounds of exertion, the clashing of weapons, and the shouts of encouragement from your peers. You went with Kai to finalize the plan, the one you both had worked on so meticulously. Kai was going to ask Amai right now. His nerves were palpable, but you were there to support him, as always, your presence a calming influence.
“Go get her, Kai!” you said, giving him a playful push towards Amai. Kai stumbled a bit, turning back to give you a grateful smile before steeling himself and walking over to Amai. He straightened his posture, took a deep breath, and began to approach her with determination. Your encouragement was the last boost of confidence he needed.
As they began talking, you decided now would finally be a good time to go and talk with Toru. This whole thing that was going on between you two had gone on long enough. The distance, the misunderstandings, the unspoken words—it was all too much. You didn’t care about the fear of rejection anymore; you just needed to finally let him know how you felt. The thought of not telling him was more unbearable than the risk of losing your friendship. It was time to face your feelings head-on.
You scanned the training field, looking for Toru. He was by the edge of the field, with Aksana. They were taking a bit of a break, just talking with each other. The sight of them together made your heart clench, but you pushed the feeling aside. You needed to talk to Toru, no matter how difficult it might be.
As you approached them, you paused as you heard Toru speak.
“So there’s this dance coming up in a few days…” he started, his voice tinged with uncertainty but also a hint of something else—perhaps resignation.
Aksana nodded, her expression attentive. “Yeah, I’ve heard about it. Are you planning to go?”
Toru sighed, running a hand through his hair in frustration. “I was thinking about asking someone, but… well, things have changed,” he said, his voice sounding more defeated than excited. The heaviness in his tone made it clear he was struggling with something deep inside.
She gave Toru a mischievous smile, eyes glinting with hidden motives. “You know, sometimes things work out in unexpected ways. Who were you thinking of asking?”
Toru hesitated for a moment, then took a deep breath, his shoulders slumping slightly as if the weight of the world was on them. “That doesn’t matter anymore. Aksana, I was thinking… would you go to the dance with me?”
Aksana’s eyes widened in surprise. Her eyes shifted to see you, frozen like a deer in headlights. She smirked as she knew she had won, relishing in the pain she knew this would cause you.
“Aksana?” Toru asked again, making her put on her fake smile.
“Really? I mean, I’d love to, Toru. I just didn’t think you’d ask me.”
You felt a sharp pang of hurt and confusion as you overheard their conversation. H-He asked her after all? The realization hit you like a ton of bricks, knocking the breath out of you. The air around you seemed to grow heavier, harder to breathe.
Suddenly, the bright blue skies began to turn a dark and gloomy gray. The clouds began to spiral around one another, signaling a huge storm was about to hit at any moment. This sudden change grabbed everyone's attention, and chatter began to spew around. The storm mirrored the turmoil within your heart, reflecting the intensity of your emotions.
“Y/n! Y/n! Amai said yes! She is going to the dance with me…but also she said yes to being my girlfriend as well!” Kai came running towards you, only to stop mid-run as he saw your terrifying presence. The aura around you was dark… perhaps even sad. The shift in the weather only amplified the darkness emanating from you.
“Y/n?” he asked, trying to figure out what had changed your mood so terribly. He saw your eyes and how they slowly became glassy looking, tears threatening to spill at any moment. The sight of your pain struck him deeply, making his heart ache for you.
Shoko and Suguru noticed as well when they turned towards you. They exchanged worried glances, understanding that something significant had just happened. The atmosphere was tense, charged with the weight of your unspoken sorrow.
Before any of your friends could come up to help you, they looked ahead and saw Satoru and Aksana talking. They all heard them talking about the dance and figured out what was going on. The realization hit them like a wave, and they felt the sharp sting of your heartbreak as if it were their own.
“Y/n…” Shoko whispered, trying to come to your aid, Suguru quickly following suit. After finishing his talk with Aksana, Satoru noticed water droplets falling to the ground. He knew today was supposed to be sunny, so he turned around to find you. He knew this was your doing and knew that you were crying. But, when he turned, he saw you staring up at him with tears in your eyes. The look you gave him made his heart shatter once more, hating the way you stared at him. It was a look of betrayal, hurt, and unspoken love, all mixed into one.
He saw his other friends making their way towards you, and so he instinctively began to go towards you as well. But before any of them could make it, you quickly ran away, running as far away from all of them as you could. The storm intensified as your emotions overwhelmed you, the skies reflecting the turmoil in your heart. Each step you took felt like a desperate attempt to escape the unbearable pain.
“Y/n, wait!” Satoru called out, his voice desperate, but you didn’t stop. You couldn’t face him, not now. The ache in your chest was too much, suffocating you with its intensity. Each step you took felt like you were trying to outrun the pain that was consuming you, your breath coming in ragged gasps as you fought to hold back the sobs threatening to break free.
Kai and Shoko shared a glance before running after you, determined to catch up and offer comfort. They could see the anguish on your face and knew they needed to be there for you. The urgency in their steps matched the worry in their eyes. Suguru, on the other hand, stayed behind, his eyes narrowing in anger as he watched Toru. He clenched his fists, his knuckles white with tension, knowing this confrontation was inevitable and bound to be explosive.
Satoru watched you run, feeling helpless and torn. He had wanted to make you feel the pain he felt, but seeing you like this was unbearable. His heart ached with regret as he realized the extent of his actions. The satisfaction he thought he would feel was replaced by a deep, gnawing sorrow that gnawed at him. The sight of your tears was like a dagger to his heart, twisting deeper with every drop that fell.
Aksana, standing off to the side, smirked to herself, satisfied with the chaos she had sown. She had gotten what she wanted, but even she could sense the depth of the rift that had just opened between you and Toru.
“What the hell is wrong with you?!” Suguru yelled, pulling Satoru off to the side with a rough yank. His voice was filled with fury, his eyes blazing with anger. He couldn’t believe what his best friend had done. The intensity of his anger made Satoru flinch, the harsh reality of his actions crashing down on him.
Satoru’s eyes widened in surprise, his own anger flaring for a moment before it was extinguished by guilt. “Suguru, I—”
“You what?” Suguru interrupted, his voice shaking with rage. “You wanted to hurt Y/n? Is that it? Because if it is, congratu-fucking-lations, you succeeded. But at what cost, Satoru? At what cost?” His words were like a slap to the face, each one hitting harder than the last.
Satoru looked away, unable to meet Suguru’s accusing gaze. “I didn’t mean for it to go this far. I just… I was hurting. I wanted her to feel what I felt.”
Suguru’s eyes narrowed, his anger not subsiding. “And now?” he snapped. “Now you see the pain you’ve caused? How could you do this, Toru? To Y/n? To yourself? You love her, and this is how you show it?” His voice was filled with disbelief and disappointment, cutting through the air like a knife.
“But she doesn’t love me!” He yelled back, his eyes glowing a bright blue hue. The rains were pouring down by this point, and everyone else went back inside to avoid getting drenched. With those words, Toru began to break. Never in his life did he think someone could have such an effect on him. Never did he think that his love for you would grow so big to the point where he could barely function. Never did he think that he would feel so broken by the thought of you not loving him back. He loved you, that was an understatement. But you didn’t love him back.
Suguru furrowed his brows, wondering where the hell Satoru got that conclusion from.
“What are you talking about?” He asked, making Satoru look down at his feet. Tears began to fall from his eyes as he told Suguru what happened.
“She is in love with that stupid boy, Kai.” He started, making Suguru scoff
“You’re joking right? Satoru, they-”
“I heard it all! I heard him ask her out…and she said yes! To him! HIM!!” He yelled, his anger and heartbreak mixing together. The moment replayed in his head like a broken record.
“You must have misheard them. Why would she be running out like that? There is no way Y/n likes-”
“I heard what I heard…I was too late.” Satoru said, his eyes slowly going dull.
—
Meanwhile, you ran through the campus, your vision blurred by tears. The storm overhead mirrored the tempest inside you, each raindrop a testament to the pain you were feeling. The sky darkened, the wind picking up, whipping your hair around your face as you pushed forward. Kai and Shoko were close behind, calling out your name, their voices filled with concern and urgency.
“Y/n, please stop!” Shoko called, her voice breaking through the noise of the storm. “We’re here for you. Just talk to us.” Her tone was gentle, yet firm, desperate to reach you. The urgency in her voice was a lifeline through the torrent of emotions you were drowning in.
Kai reached out, gently grabbing your arm to stop you. “Y/n, it’s okay. We’re here. Let’s just talk.” His grip was firm but comforting, grounding you in the moment. The warmth of his touch contrasted with the cold rain, offering a semblance of stability in your chaotic world.
You turned towards them both, your tears falling nonstop, mingling with the raindrops on your cheeks. Your breath hitched, and the sobs that you had been holding back finally broke free. “He asked her… he asked her instead of me!” you sobbed, the words coming out in a choked whisper. The reality of Toru's betrayal hits you anew with each word, cutting deeper into your heart.
Shoko pulled you close, wrapping her arms around you and rubbing your back like how a mother would with her child. Her touch was soothing, her presence a beacon of comfort in your stormy sea of emotions. “I’m sorry, Y/n.” she whispered, her voice steady despite the chaos around you.
Kai stood close, his own expression filled with concern and anger. “He’s an idiot, Y/n. He doesn’t see what he’s losing,” he said, his voice firm. “You deserve so much better than this.”
The rain continued to pour, the storm overhead a reflection of the turmoil inside you. You let go of their embrace, taking a step back.
“I think…I think I need to be alone for a while.” You spoke, making the both of them worry.
“A-Are you sure-”
“I'm sure. Just please leave me be for now.” I said, turning around to go back to my place.
The two watched you leave, seeing how deflated you were. It broke them seeing you like that. But they wanted to give you some time to yourself just as you asked. Even though they didn’t want to, they did to respect your wishes.
However, that didn’t mean they were done with Satoru. They turned back around and went to go find the tall white-haired boy.
–
After a few minutes, they saw him standing in the same area with Suguru. Now it was their time to unleash their wrath on him.
“Who do you think you are?” Kai asked, walking right up to him. Toru stood above him, but Kai didn’t care. He hurt you, and that’s all that mattered. The rain continued to pour, drenching them all, but the intensity of Kai's anger made it feel like a storm within a storm.
Satoru’s eyes blazed with a mix of anger and frustration. “Step away, now,” he threatened, his voice low and dangerous, each word a challenge. Kai is the last person he wanted to see right now. He was the whole reason for this chaos.
“Or what? I don’t care that you’re the strongest in this school. The strongest in this city. Shit, maybe even the whole world. What I do care about is the fact that you hurt Y/n!” Kai yelled back, not backing down one bit. His defiance was fueled by righteous anger, every word laced with indignation. He took a step closer, his fists clenched at his sides.
Shoko stepped in, her own anger simmering just beneath the surface. “What were you thinking, Satoru? How could you do this to Y/n? You should know by now that she loves you—”
“Don’t say that! Because obviously I was wrong about how she felt about me,” Satoru interrupted Shoko, his voice rising with a mix of anger and hurt. His eyes darted between all three of them, filled with confusion and pain.
“What are you talking about?” Shoko asked, her voice filled with concern and confusion. She stepped closer, trying to understand the depth of the misunderstanding.
Satoru looked down at Kai, glaring daggers at him. “Why don’t you tell them, Kai?”
“What?” Kai asked, genuinely confused as to what Satoru was talking about.
“Why don’t you tell them how you confessed to her yesterday! And then tell them about how she accepted! How you stole her from me! How you took her heart from me! You took my everything from me!” Satoru yelled, his emotions getting the better of him. His voice cracked with the weight of his despair, each word a release of the pent-up agony he had been holding inside. His hands trembled, his eyes wild with a mix of anger and sadness.
Kai took a step back, trying to process Satoru’s words. “What are you talking about, Satoru? I didn’t confess to Y/n. We were just practicing.”
“Practicing?” Satoru scoffed, his voice dripping with sarcasm. “Practicing what? How to break my heart?”
“No!” Kai shouted, exasperation clear in his voice. “I was practicing how to ask Amai out. Y/n was helping me because I was nervous. That’s all it was.”
Satoru’s expression faltered, confusion replacing some of his anger. “No, you’re lying! Stop lying!” He yelled, his eyes glowing brighter and brighter as if he were about to explode.
Kai sighed deeply, trying to keep his own temper in check. “You misunderstood, Satoru. When you heard me talking to Y/n, I was rehearsing what I was going to say to Amai. Y/n was just helping me. That’s all it ever was.”
Suddenly, there was a long silence. He tried to look for any sign of deception in Kai’s eyes…but all he could see was the truth. Satoru’s eyes widened, the realization hitting him like a punch to the gut. “What... what are you saying?”
Suguru sighed, jumping in while shaking his head. “You jumped to conclusions without knowing the full story. Y/n has been helping Kai because he was nervous about asking Amai out. She’s been doing everything she can to help him, not because she’s in love with him, but because she’s a good friend.”
“But I saw you two together, so many times. The way you both looked…you were so close…” Satoru’s voice trailed off, his anger subsiding into regret and sorrow.
“Yeah, because they’re friends, Satoru. Just like you and Y/n are—or were,” Suguru said, his tone softening slightly. “You let your jealousy get the best of you, and now you’ve hurt her deeply. I told you this whole ‘plan’ of yours was going to come and hit you in the back…”
Satoru’s shoulders slumped, the weight of his actions crashing down on him. Tears mingled with the rain on his face as he whispered, “I didn’t know... I thought...”
Kai took a step closer, his voice low and filled with frustration. “You thought wrong. And now, as Suguru has already stated, you’ve broken her heart. You better make this right, Satoru, or you’ll have more than just us to deal with.”
Shoko nodded, her expression unwavering. “You need to find Y/n, and you need to tell her the truth. Apologize, and maybe, just maybe, she’ll forgive you.”
Satoru looked down, his hands trembling with the realization of what he had done. “I need to find her,” he said, his voice filled with determination. “I need to fix this.”
Suguru nodded, placing a reassuring hand on Satoru’s shoulder.
“She’s headed back to her place. If I were you, I’d get there as soon as possible.” Shoko said, still filled with disappointment. Satoru nodded. With newfound resolve, Satoru turned and ran into the storm, his heart pounding with fear and hope. He knew he had to find you, to make things right, to tell you how much he truly loved you. The path ahead was uncertain, but he was ready to face it, no matter what.
