All monkey men love dancing
Garp is the og, he can start a mosh pit during a orchestra concert. Sexy grandpa is stealing your girlfriend or boyfriend. Can acclimate to almost any type of dance though his favourite is the classic bump and grind (he’s not ashamed)
Dragon, partner dancing leading or following. Tango, waltz, he can do it all and he loves it.. Also proficient in pole dancing after a year in Iva’s company and of course belly dancing. (Devil taming hips I tell you)
Luffy, hip hop and breakdancing. The boy cannot partner dance for the life of him you will get your toes stepped on. Not as enthusiastic about dance as his father but does enjoy the rhythms (did a burlesque routine with sanji once for fun)
Crocodile can’t dance for shit

…Dragon gets caught by Garp hiding somewhere and crying after a rough day and Garp as usual doesn’t have the knowledge to talk or do anything about it (although it does sting. A lot. Garp ENJOYED wrestling animals and being a feral little maniac as a kid. Something is wrong. He thought they were having good manly fun — he was so proud of his boy for keeping pace all day! …So why does his kid look so miserable?)
And its that sense of shame, the awkwardness of the situation and Garp’s lack of response being filtered through child Dragon’s perception as disappointment (he knows Garp doesn’t want him to be such a crybaby and he KNOWS Garp is totally comfortable verbalizing when his kid has screwed up. He’s probably only ever gotten a blind eye when Garp knew HE would get blamed for something or something was exceptionally embarrassing.) that motivates the full on stoicism. Clearly he isn’t even allowed to cry in private because *nothing* is *ever* good enough
;w;
With all this angst, let me just think about Iva or maybe Crocodile finding him crying in private because things are rough (maybe he lost some people during a mission, the Ohara incident happened, etc. There are enough things to get upset about if you're trying to change the world).
And he doesn't get the reaction he expected.
Maybe Crocodile was trying to find a private place to have a cigarette after somehow coming in contact with Iva and co and then runs across this man sobbing? And he sees him shut down instantly when he's spotted. And maybe he should just have walked away, give the guy some privacy. But he doesn't. Maybe he just keeps him company or he decides that a stress cry instead of a stress smoke is fine as well.
I think Dragon can unlearn the shame around his emotions, even if it takes a long time.

Wait no better, yet somehow more demented idea, Law meets Ivankov, gets to talking about their respective devil fruit abilities. Combined together they can definitely get mpreg to happen. Bet they do this hella drunk and that's why Bepo got knocked up by Law and Law now refuses to help Luffy do the same to Zoro. He has zero desire to spend time with Ivankov while sober and the fact it worked when they were both that drunk is honestly a damn miracle.
️ cooking
i was unsure at first cuz thats some weird company for Law BUT Iva could easily entice him by how much dirt he has on everyone (croc is not the only one) Law would be mad interested and i can see Iva being like - if im spending time with a handsome boy like you we gotta get some drinks - maybe it will have you relax a little ohoho~ and Law is like ugh whatever <- confident in his ability to hold a drink - and he did! but Iva still manipulated him into talking about his love life (Bepo)
plausible 10/10 not only would Law not want to deal with Iva sober, he wouldnt want to deal with him period - they did their experiment it was a success, he learned NO information from Iva - Law lowkey feels foolish even if he got a pregnant Bepo out of it, still feels like he got played.
#mpreg mention#anonymous#kotasks#law mad ivankov didnt share any blackmail material and derailed the conversation towards him and bepo instead#and ofc iva would!!!!!#look at them holy fuck how exciting

It was the 21st of March, 1998, and 23-year-old Amy Lynn Bradley, her parents, Iva and Ron, and brother, Brad, left their home in Petersburg, Virginia, for a week-long Caribbean cruise on the Rhapsody of the Seas. Ron had won the cruise as a performance reward from a company he represented, Illinois Mutual Life Insurance Co.
Amy was a 1996 graduate of Longwood College. She was a star athlete; she ran track and played basketball for Providence Middle School. “She loved the game. She worked real hard. She was very intense. She just seemed to be excited about life,” said her basketball coach, Diane Dockus.
Amy graduated with a degree in physical education and aspired to be a teacher. Unfortunately, however, Amy never got the chance to reach her full potential when tragedy struck during their family vacation.
In the early morning hours of the 24th of March, Amy was partying in the cruise ship’s dance club with the band, Blue Orchid, Brad and new friends she had made on her Caribbean getaway. At around 3AM Ron woke up and realised that Amy and Brad still weren’t back in the shared cabin. He pulled on his clothes and went to the disco and walked them back to the cabin.
The trio sat on the balcony for a while before Brad and Ron went to bed. Amy told them she was going to stay up on the balcony for a little while longer as she was feeling somewhat queasy. The fresh air on the balcony would do her some good, she thought. The last time her father saw her was at around 5:15AM; she was asleep on the deck chair on the balcony. There was a pack of cigarettes beside her and the sliding door was closed.
Ron awoke an hour later to find that his daughter was no longer on the balcony. He noticed that the cigarettes were gone and the sliding door was open. Following her disappearance, a peculiar photograph would emerge....

I had to wait for the dryer to finish so I could put my laundry away before I could go to bed so I went on picrew and made a bunch of references for my new OC that I made accidentally haha whoops.
((I know not everyone likes OC content BTW so if you don't want to see any of it I made a tag "prodi's one piece ocs" so you can mute specific posts if you'd like))
But anyway! Babbling till my laundry is done!
Welcome to mah new girl Sys, she's got tan skin, red eyes, SUPER ash blond hair and a scar across her forehead. No Devil’s Fruit ability (par for the course for my ocs I've noticed) but has powerful observation haki that aids in her sniping abilities.
A former Marine Ensign who deserted the military mid-assignment on Sabaody Archipelago after meeting a slave of the Celestial Dragon her company had been ordered to protect while they visited Sabaody. It was a blinders off reality check, and Sys decided to free the slave, burn her marine coat, and book it.
She later joined the Revolutionary Army with the slave boy she freed, who she became very good friends with, and currently works under Sabo’s direct command (she's older than him but doesn't mind).
Her main skills include Observation and Armament Haki, excellent sniping abilities with firearms, hand-to-hand combat, stealth, anything that has to do with combat I suppose. She's intelligent and quick on her feet, fast at assessing situations and making shotgun decisions.
She's laid back, cheerful and good-natured, enjoys teasing and joking around with people, and has a positive outlook on most things, which hides a lot of the inner turmoil she battles with daily.
Despite her outward personality, Sys struggles with intense guilt and shame for the part she played within the navy and her compliance to the Government. Despite her ignorance and lack of education due to her young age when she was recruited to the Marines, she maintains that she played a part in whatever pain was inflicted on innocent people while she was in the Marines, and feels duty-bound to atone for it.
She's outrageously protective of her best friend — the former slave boy she freed on Sabaody (he thinks she needs to calm down) — as well as other former slaves and younger revolutionaries.
Doesn't talk about her past as a marine, so the only ones who know are Dragon, Iva and her friend (the only reason Sabo doesn't know is because she joined before he was promoted to Chief of Staff).
As a young marine she kept her hair long, but chopped it short after defecting. Her birth name was (ironically) "Justice". She was given that name by marine parents who both died in a sea battle with pirates when she was still small. After their death, she was raised primarily by her older sister, who was also a marine (it was a family thing). A Rear Admiral. She served under her older sister the entire time she was in the Marines. After defecting, she abandoned her name and changed it to "Sys".

@waxgentleman: Cont. from X
Momoiro island was a spot he visited regularly by now, wherever if was to place flowers at his fallen comrade’s grave or to keep a peaceful relationship due Cross Guild. The artist was always the one asked to go…. and every time, he would listen to the same thing from the Queen of that place: Listen, since you’re here (....) No one was to blame, his powers were useful after all; fixing buildings, making new ones. He had to indulge even if some requests made him doubt his good faith. “ Young lady! Pleeeeeaaaase! Do not sneak up behind others like that! Uah! ” Mr 3 stopped his work as the sudden voice slightly spooked him out, turning immediately. For his luck, was just one of Sabo’s little friends.“ Oh my feeble heart. ” Mr 3 pushes his glasses in, now speaking in a calmer manner. “ Indeed, ga ne. I ate the Doru doru no mi, which makes me a Wax Man as they say. Although, sculpting things is solely on my own merit. ” As he explained, in the palm of his hands something started to take form in the shape of a star, and when it was done. He hold it the little object between fingers as he displayed it. “—but by all means, is there anything I shall help you with? I DO HOPE isn’t about painting nails again. I’m an artist not a manicurist..”
"Wax, you say? How interesting." Koala leaned in and began to inspect the work he was currently constructing. The quality of wax was impressive. This man was obviously a master of his craft and quite familiar with the powers of his devil fruit. She can appreciate a handy person. Especially one that was more than willing to hel the Revolution from time to time.
"Oh no, nothing like that." She straightened up and pressed a hand to her mouth. Her ever present smile only barely just hidden by her fingers. Watching, cataloguing, the man as they spoke. "I simply like to meet all of Iva's guests. It's only safe for a lady to know the company she is keeping, hmm?"
She offered out a hand to him in greeting. "I know we've seen one another in passing but it's rude not to give a formal introduction. My name's Koala."
She motioned to one of the building nearby that looked to be freshly repair. "Is all this your handy work?"

Quick & Simple Online Fast Cash Loans for Bad Credit
You've come to the perfect place if you're looking for quick, flexible short-term financial support. Online fast cash loans have assisted thousands of Americans by providing them with a short-term loan to tide them over until their next paycheck. Regaining control over your difficult financial situation is made simple and quick with the amount from these loans.
Prior to obtaining the loan, you must determine whether fast cash loans online are the right choice for you. If the amount of cash you need is only a few hundred dollars to get you through till payday, speak with any one of the more than 100 lenders on the panel. Generally speaking, you can borrow between $100 and $1,000 in cash on the same day. You may tailor the loan to meet your needs thanks to its adjustable repayment terms.
Many expenses need to be paid for, such as light bills, groceries, child care or tuition, household bills, unexpected auto repairs, unpaid bank overdrafts, and so forth. Simply put, these loans are used to pay for all of these expenses.
Even if you've had bad credit in the past, you could still be able to get a same day funding loans. Lenders' only responsibility is to consider your present repayment capacity, not only past credit problems. You can therefore easily access these credits if you have bad credit factors such as defaults, arrears, foreclosure, late payments, CCJs, IVAs, or bankruptcy noted against you.
It's likely that you have seen advertisements online or received emails soliciting same day loans. You might be sceptical, but you might also ask whether same day payday loans are indeed achievable. Unfortunately, 99 percent of the time, these kinds of claims turn out to be untrue. The good news is that you may apply for a convenient online loan with Nueva Cash and acquire the money you need.
Many of the web advertisements for same day payday loans online are not from real lenders. Rather, they are information aggregators that gather data about borrowers. A few aggregators only collaborate with particular lenders. Many aggregators thoroughly screen the lenders they partner with and are quite credible. Nevertheless, some advertisements for online same day cash loans for bad credit are posted by dishonest parties who disseminate information carelessly and frequently sell private and sensitive financial data to the highest bidder. If you work with them, you'll frequently discover that your email inbox is overflowing with "offers" from unknown companies. A few of them are con artists, while others steal identities.
Payday direct lenders do exist. They frequently advertise their identity as direct lenders on their websites with large advertisements. They do not, however, make any more assurances than aggregators regarding payday loans online same day offered. This is due to the fact that almost all online lenders handle loan disbursements and repayments through ACH transactions. Payday direct lenders can approve you in a matter of minutes, but most of the time you won't get your money until the next business day.

Not to keep yapping about my thoughts, but, to throw some actual comfort into the angst. Prev post 1 Prev post 2
I don’t think Dragon could ever stop caring about Crocodile. Partly because of his guilt and shame, but also I think after a while he starts to realize he loved Crocodile for more than the escapism he offered. I don’t think he could after forget that. But he would probably resign himself to “Crocodile hates me, I’ve hurt him enough. He’s living a different life now. I can’t disturb that, I have no right to.” So just accepts he lost Crocodile and his chance at a family.
So I think Dragon would be more than willing to start a healing journey with Crocodile. But it’s all up to Crocodile whether it happens. Crocodile has a lot of pain to process and heal from. He has a lot of things he has to change his perspective on. He needs to see Dragon is willing and able to take accountability.
I truly think Marineford changed everything. I think it would have give Crocodile a new opportunity to really grow, and unpack his past. To finally truly heal instead of running away from and ignoring it. To see his baby.
I am really unsure how much Crocodile ever let himself truly feel, he probably just coped with it all through anger and shame. Never really wanted to process or understand, just push away and forget. I do also think no matter how much he shames himself for it, I can see him still admiring Dragon or at least not forgetting those cold quiet nights of them being together, loving each other.
So Crocodile has his heart-to-heart with Iva after Marineford. Iva punishes Dragon for his past choices. After sometime of them both moping, Iva suggests that it might be helpful if they both start talking. It doesn’t even have to be about any of the past. Just a simple, how are you. And if that can be good, maybe they can both finally address everything together. Iva probably has to take up the role as mediator, as he sees both sides and knows this can be good for them. Looking over Dragon’s shoulder, making sure he’s behaving.
It's definitely going to be a long, exhausting time before anything is truly better. But I can see them working it out. I’m sure Crocodile would be anxious to EVER make an intimate promise like before. So I don’t see it happening unless he can truly heal, and it’s what he wants and things will be good for him.
I don’t think Dragon would try to initiate any sort of like “hey I think we should talk again, or be partners again.” As that’s not really his call. Crocodile needs to feel he’s respected and in control here to build back trust. So I think Dragon would be pleased with anything Crocodile is wiling to give him. Whether that’s with the label “Partners” or not. I can definitely see them working something out.
(But I can def see them having long nice calls of just taking and being in each other presence. And or meeting up occasionally, and just fucking LOL!!)
Yeah, I think the perspective that distance and age brings might take some of the edge off of Crocodile's anger. He might be more understanding of what both of them got out of the relationship and he might also come to understand just how vital it to stay dedicated if you're leading an entire (sort of secret) organization. He understands how some things, even the most important and most precious things, will have to wait. Because they could wait, no matter how much it sucked to be pregnant and alone there weren't the lives of thousands at stake. (Crocodile was probably also isolated with only the midwife there to keep him infrequent, professional "company". Of course he withdraws into himself and stews in all the discomfort and loneliness and bitterness). But Dragon could not communicate that and Crocodile could not see it.
He does now. And maybe he does at times wonder how it would have been if they had overcome that. Because he did feel good with Dragon before everything crashed and burned around them.
But Marineford tore up a lot of wounds and despite it all, how is he able to cope with the choice Dragon made? A dead baby might have been a loss to put behind them and eventually move on. But a very much alive baby, that lie, the abandonment of it to the whims of Garp and Mountain Bandits?
The talking with Iva there as mediator would definitely help (especially since Iva will just be obnoxious and push and not let them sit on their resentments. He needs Dragon focused and it's in Crocodile's best interest to also figure this out.)
But yessss, phone calls and conversations and fucking. Hey, they've got a lot of pent up energy. And both of them probably haven't gotten laid in years. What's the worst that could happen?

Tokyo Rose -- Zero Hour: A Japanese American Woman's Persecution and Ultimate Redemption after World War II by Andre Frattino and illustrated by Kate Kasenow. Tuttlle, 2022. 9784805316955. 128pp. https://www.powells.com/book/-9784805316955?partnerid=34778&p_bt
Iva Toguri was born in Los Angeles in 1916 to parents who immigrated to the US from Japan. This graphic novel opens with a brief scene from her trial as a traitor after World War II, after she returned from Japan where she worked as an announcer during the war. It then goes back to the beginning, when Iva's family sent her to Japan in the summer of 1941, and how she was put to work helping her family there. She was supposed to return home in early December of that year, but the Japanese bureaucracy made that impossible, and she was stuck in Japan after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Offered the choice of renouncing her American citizenship, she refused and left her family's home. While working a low level job at the broadcasting company NHK, she risked a lot keep up the spirits of and get much needed supplies two POWs brought in to create English-language programming. They saw something special in her and eventually put her on the air as "Orphan Ann." (They were supposed to help lower the morale of the Allied forces listening to the broadcasts, but managed to create programming that secretly did just the opposite.)
How and why that all led to Iva being vilified in the media and then charged with treason on her return to the US made for a compelling read. Kasenow's black and white art does a great job of bringing the WWII-era to life, as does her character design and the amount of details shown in each panel, which is never overwhelming.
Worth noting: The book includes a forward by letterer Janie Chiang and a preface by writer Frattino which provide more information on Iva Toguri's story, as well as short biographies of both plus of Kasenow, a script reader, and the book's three sensitivity readers. There's also an epilogue, a timeline of Iva Toguri's life, and a list of quotes from Radio Tokyo Broadcasts directed at Allied Forces during WWII.

The Whitley would serve with Bomber Command and Coastal Command during the early years of the Second World War and was used in Operation Biting to help capture German radar. Used for special operations at RAF Tempsford the Armstrong Whitworth Whitley would also be used by British Overseas Airways Corporation.
Armstrong Whitworth Whitley
During the early to mid 1930s the Royal Air Force was heavily reliant on biplane aircraft and was urgently trying to modernise its aircraft. So with the issuing in July 1934 of Specification B.3/34 the Air Ministry were looking for a twin-engined heavy night bomber. Armstrong Whitworth's submission to this specification would be led by the company's chief designer John Lloyd. With design work in progress the need for more modern aircraft within the RAF was shown by an order for 80 Whitleys being placed seven months before the prototype flew.
The prototype would be ready for its maiden flight on the 17th March 1936 at Whitley Abbey with Alan Campbell-Orde at the controls, with power supplied by a pair of Armstrong Siddeley Tiger X engines. Its monocoque structure was made of light alloy, which saw Armstrong Whitworth move away from their usual steel tube construction. Trials of the Royal Air Force's new bomber were done in Autumn 1936 at Martlehsam Heath by the Aeroplane and Armament Experimental Establishment. A second prototype would have a specially written specification for it, B.21/35, and this made its maiden flight on the 24th February 1937, powered by the Tiger XI engine, and was flown by Charles Turner Hughes.
The Whitley would enter service during March 1937 with No. 10 Squadron based at RAF Dishforth receiving their first Mk Is on the 9th, to replace their Handley Page Heyford aircraft. Able to house a crew of up to 5, armament would consist of a single 0.303-in Vickers machine-gun in nose and tail turrets which were manually operated and designed by Armstrong Whitworth. Of the original order of 80, 34 would be Mk Is whilst the rest would be Mk Iis which were powered by Tiger VIII engines which featured a two-speed supercharger. A further order for 80 Whitleys was placed and these would be the Mk III. The armament on this new variant was upgraded, firstly the bomb-bay was changed to allow larger bombs to be carried, the nose turret was changed to a Nash and Thompson turret which was power operated and two more machine-guns in the form of 0.303-in Brownings were added to a new retractable turret underneath the fuselage.
Flying from Hucknall on the 11th February 1938 a Whitly Mk I was tested with Rolls-Royce Merlin IIs, however the programme was suspended after the second flight which had to be curtailed due to engine failure. After the test programme was resumed the aircraft was sent to the A&AEE at Martlesham Heath for further tests during April and May.
The next production version, which first flew on the 5th April 1939, was the Mk IV which featured a number of changes. The first change saw the aircraft now powered by the 1,030-hp Rolls-Royce Merlin IV engine. The second change saw a pair of wing tanks added whilst other changes included improvements to the bomb-aimers view with the addition in the lower nose of a clear panel. The armament for the rear gunner was also upgraded to four 0.303-in Browing guns in a Nash and Thompson power-operated turret. Powered by the 1,145-hp Merlin X seven Whitley Mk IVAs were produced alongside 26 Mk IVs.
Further changes to the design saw the Whitley Mk V appear which was to be the most produced version and would also be powered by Merlin engines. Once again fuel capacity was improved and extra fuel could be carried in the bomb-bay if needed. On the leading edges of the wings rubber de-icer boots were added. The rear of the aircraft was also redesigned to increase the rear gunner's field of fire, this would see the rear fuselage lengthened 1ft 3in. The fins was also given straight leading edges. In total 1,466 Mk Vs were built.
With the Rolls-Royce Merlin in demand for use in a number of aircraft a Pratt & Whitney powered Whitley Mk VI was considered in case Merlin engines became unavailable. In the end this proposed aircraft would never go into production. Based on the Mk V the Whitley Mk VII was designed for operational service with Coastal Command. This would see the installation of Air-to-Surface Vessel Mk II radar and the fitting in the rear of the fuselage and bomb-bay of additional fuel tanks. A total of 146 would be built.
Armstrong Whitworth Whitleys were in action with Bomber Command on the same day as Britain and France declared war on Germany, 3rd September 1939, when 10 aircraft flew over Bremen, Hamburg and the Ruhr in Germany dropping leaflets. It would be the Whitley that became the first Royal Air Force bomber to operate over Berlin, Germany when three Whitley Mk IVs from No. 10 Squadron dropped propaganda leaflets over the city on the 1st October 1939, losing one aircraft. Whitleys would also take part in the first bombing raid on Berlin, Germany on the 25th August 1940 alongside the Handley Page Hampden and Vickers Wellington. The type would also be called on the day after Italy declared war on Britain and France when on the 11th June 1940 raids were carried out on Genoa and Turin. However of the 36 aircraft that took part only 13, 36% of the total force, reached their target as both engine problems and weather hampered the operation.
With the Short Stirling and Handley Page Halifax four-engined bombers now in service and with the Avro Lancaster entering service the Whitley's time in Bomber Command was coming to an end. Its last official sortie took place on the 29th April 1942 with a raid on Ostend, Belgium. However Whitleys from Operational Training Units would take part in the raid on Cologne, Germany on the 30th May that year in the first ever '1,000 Bomber' attack codenamed Operation Millennium.
The Whitley would also serve with Coastal Command and its service with the Command began when No. 58 Squadron were seconded in September 1939. This would see them patrol over the English Channel until February 1940 when they operated as part of Bomber Command again. Other Whitley squadrons would also patrol over the Bay of Biscay. It would take over 2 years before the type scored its first U-boat victory when on the 30th November 1941 No. 502 Squadron sank U-205 in the Bay of Biscay.
The type would also be used for a number of special operations. These included Operation Columba which saw homing pigeons dropped over occupied Europe in the hope that people who came across the pigeons could provide intelligence on German military activities in the area. It would be on the 8th April 1941 that a Whitley would perform the first drop of pigeons for the operation. The aircraft was also involved in Operation Biting on the 27th February 1942 which saw them drop paratroopers at Bruneval, France for what was a successful mission to capture parts of German radar. Two squadrons, Nos. 138 and 161, would also serve at RAF Tempsford undertaking special duties. This involved supplying arms and equipment to the Resistance and transport agents by parachute drop into occupied countries.
Other duties for the Whitley saw it used as a glider tug and for parachute training. During May 1942 the British Overseas Airways Corporation received 15 Mk Vs which had their armament removed and fuel tanks added to the bomb-bays. These would be used by BOAC on their Gibraltar to Malta route.
By the time the last Armstrong Whitworth Whitley rolled of the production line a total of 1,815 had been built.
