It’s a little look into how Ryujin and Chaeryeong responded to Yeji’s new hairstyle, set a little before Air came out.

favorite itzy variety show?

easily it'zzz. oh my god it's been so good. i literally imitate yeji yelling "MAC" into the void on a daily basis because it makes me giggle every time. my one true wish is for it'zzz season 2 when lia comes back

wdzy or twinzy? who looks most like their cartoon counterparts?

prefacing this by saying i do genuinely like twinzy, i think they're super cute! that being said it's easily wdzy. members were more involved in their creation, the designs are more unique/distinct, and honestly just more fun. for twinzy i think kkengee looks most like yeji, and for wdzy it's gotta be my fav tuk (when ryujin's got her ears popping out the hoodie) or lya!

favorite title track? favorite era?

fav title track is SO tough there's so many good ones. ugh. honestly it might be cheshire?? that was the first itzy title track that got Stuck In My Head and then i had to listen to their entire discography lol. my favorite era as a whole is easily kill my doubt.

i think that entire EP is phenomenal, and it's what made me really hop on the itzy train in a permanent way (i became a fan during that comeback). bet on me and none of my business are the reason i survived the last year of my phd program lol

also like...their styling in that era (esp their hair)? ELITE. (blonde lia...i'm on my knees...wtf...)

favorite solo covers/performances from each of the members?

this is so tough oh my god uh...

lia - can't take my eyes off of you

hearing lia sing this is one of the major things that made me want to look into itzy in the first place. i wish lia would sing more jazzy/r&b stuff, her voice is so suited for it

yeji - river

idk if dance covers are included here but if so then obviously river. her stage with hyunjin was insane too. if no dance covers then...hotter than hell

ryujin - every second

i love every second, and i especially love ryu's cover of it. i legit listen to it all the time. lemon might be taking over its spot but we'll see

chaeryeong - 10 minutes/chitty chitty bang bang

ok i know this was a catz line (+yuna) performance but i literally go back to it constantly specifically for chaeryeong oh my god SHE!!!

i mean. it's yuna's Statement performance. feels wrong to go with anything else

any concepts you want itzy to try in the future?

this is also tough! itzy has proven they can basically rock any concept so it's hard to say really. in terms of styling i would really love to see them go a little more masc (like the airport fits in the algorhythm mv) and do at least some r&b (like stuff in the direction of mr. vampire, especially when lia comes back)...i guess like to see them do a darker more mature concept but not girl crush bc i feel like we've seen them do that.

more than anything i'd say what i want is for the girls to have more creative control of their direction in concept, styling, and music. i think they have all shown themselves to be incredibly thoughtful and talented in those respects, beyond performance, and i'd be really interested to see what they come up with together if given the opportunity for input. fingers crossed that the solo projects on born to be were indicative of that becoming the new norm.

DLC 🔞 - for your heart only

Chaeryeong’s breath quickens and she leans back, trying to hide the way her heartbeat starts thumping against her ribcage. She puts on a teasing tone to mask her excitement in case she’s getting ahead of herself. “Are you asking me out, Hwang Yeji?”

There’s a little nervous tug at the corner of Yeji’s lips as she reaches to smooth down a stray flyaway. Chaeryeong takes a shaky breath, she doesn’t know if her heartbeat is threatening to spiral out of control from that little gesture or if it’s the possibility of a date. Yeji smiles and Chaeryeong almost dissolves at the quick cheek kiss she manages to sneak in, “Yes.”

OR Chaeryeong navigates her feelings with a little push from Ryujin, and unpacks what Yeji means to her.

DLC 🔞 - ruin me softly

[word count: 11,083]

Ryujin beckons Yeji in for a slower kiss. Tasting each layer of her chocolate scent, all the subtleties from the dark and toasty cocoa notes, to the slightly bitter and sweet edge ever present. Yeji parts after another gentle peck of her lips, “How was that?”

Ryujin rolls her eyes playfully, the corner of her lips nudging up into a wry smile, “You tell me?”

Chaeryeong sends Yeji reeling with the intensity of the cherry that engulfs her, acidic and tangy in the best way possible, leaving Yeji wanting more and more even when her body is begging her to part from the lack of oxygen in her lungs.

Yeji could pass out and die happy tonight if it came down to it. There’s not much that could compete with the pure unadulterated happiness that Ryujin and Chaeryeong have given her.

or Yeji learns and loves every detail about her girlfriends and makes sure to repay all the love she's been doused with. (+ Ryujin and Chaeryeong keep taking Yeji's hoodies and she couldn't be any happier)

DLC 🔞- dazed and senseless

She nips against the shell of her ear, shifting to hit that perfect spot that renders Chaeryeong absolutely weak, whining and whimpering as she batters against it. She grips the sheets so hard that Yeji swears she hears them tear. She tenses up, with out of sync short and staccato breaths, shoulders pulled so taut together that it can’t have been comfortable.

Yeji quickly softens, reaching to thread their hands together instead of pinning them down and whispers, “Breathe, baby. I’ve got you.”

DLC 🔞 - centre of attention - 2/2

[word count: 3,648]

Yeji’s soft giggle gets muffled between their lips as she melts into Chaeryeong. She hopes the butterflies that flutter every time they kiss never stop, that she never forgets how to sink into her touch, how the warmth that follows after the butterflies rest, mixes with the tender touch she calls home.

Ryujin reaches up to tuck the strands of hair behind her ear and Yeji’s instantly drawn to her, chasing after the cusp of her palm. She has always thought that Ryujin was pretty from the moment she met her. Since that first back hug that sparked a decade long friendship that developed into something more in the last year and a half.

Ryujin, god, she sounds like a broken record at this point, but the way her heart flutters when their eyes meet, just like it did when she was sixteen and none the wiser.

Chaeryeong in her pink sweatpants, a grey hoodie with a shoulder exposed as she fiddled with the edge of the sleeve, a white top with a black rim that just so perfectly flatters her body, and of course, it’s cropped to show her chiselled abs in all their sculpted glory, with the overhead light hitting and shading it to utter perfection.

She was perfect, sure, but that wasn’t what made her jaw drop. Ryujin had clearly underestimated how impulsive Chaeryeong could be because nothing, nothing could have prepared her for Chaeryeong coming home sporting platinum blonde hair.

Not red, not black. Platinum blonde.

DLC 🔞 - stripped bare

Ryujin has never had any problem when it came to asking Yeji to try something new or talking about anything and everything. But when it comes to Chaeryeong, it’s harder.

Chaeryeong is soft-spoken, gentle and a known bottom. She might like to tease and get them in the mood but after that she expects them to pick up where she left off and take care of her. It’s honestly never really been a problem for Ryujin, and it still isn’t a problem on any given day, but what would happen if she wants to try something that might disrupt said curated balance?

or Ryujin gets a little too distracted by Chaeryeong's arms and Yeji is all too ready to help.

DLC 🔞 - be the wave, i’ll be the shore

Ryujin hooks onto the hem of her top, tugging it up and off of her swiftly. She pulls Chaeryeong flush against her front and latches onto her scent gland, causing a guttural moan to punch its way out of her throat.

Yeji chuckles, “With not one but two alphas under your belt.” She kneads into her thighs and growls, “No one would dare steal you from us.”

The perfectly sculpted lines of muscle adorning Yeji’s arms have no right making her feel this dishevelled, her long and slender fingers stretching across her thigh, taking on more and more territory, like she’s staking her claim.

yeji flannel this yeji flannel that but what about ryeong in a flannel😭😭 she looks so good in the gold practice behind and it seriously got me thinking about domestic catz like ryujin hugging her from behind and slowly pulling her flannel off just to kiss her shoulder and chaeryeong’s red ears poking out of her hair is even more obvious because of the blonde☹️☹️ yejis watching them from the corner of her eye and bursts out laughing when ryeong starts desperately brushing her hair in an effort to hide her ears (while she gets even redder)☹️☹️ ryujin flips her around and kisses her teasingly on the cheek because thats all she can reach and yeji hugs chaery from behind and kisses her ears and ryeong whines as she dips her head onto ryujins shoulder (do i make sense, say yes please)

i completely agree 🐈‍⬛, she looks so good in that flannel… i had to pause and take screenshots when i first watched it.

the whole domestic catz scene, yes it makes sense but please my heart, it can’t take this cute fluffy catz (also that's such a perfect read on dlc catz's dynamic?) .. and the chears, the idea of them being even more obvious when they’re red because of the blonde. i’m totally fine i swear :D

i love the catz, i’m itching to write them being all cute and fluffy and adorable.

these three are so good, i've lost count of how many times I've watched this clip already. all of them have such distinct styles from each other and yet they work so cohesively together, i love the catz line so much. the attention to detail too, ugh it's perfect, they're in their own league!!
