I know I'm probably a weirdo for this, but one day I got to thinking, what if Pokemon was lingually accurate? Like, if characters were named appropriately based on their region? So I actually went through Bulbapedia and compiled a list of every major character's names in other languages. And just in case anyone else was curious, I thought I'd share it.

I'm going from the English base, so I'm majorly not including Unova, Galar, and most of Alola. Ones that are weird or are migrants I give explanations for.

Kanto: Japanese

Red: Same in English and Japanese

Blue: Technically referred to as Green in Japanese since the original games were Red and Green (hence remakes being FireRed and LeafGreen), but is considered Blue internationally and it makes more sense to me (Red picks Charmander, rival picks Squirtle to be better, thus Blue).

Clay or Yakon: I've heard Clay may play on Japanese businessman tropes, and he has an ancestor in Hisui, so his name could be either of these.

But Hawaii does have ties to the East, so I will use some of the Japanese names if they make more sense to me. Most are just slight spelling changes anyhow.

Yo (Elio): Moved from Kanto to Alola, so Japanese name.

Mizuki (Selene): Moved from Kanto to Alola, so Japanese name.

Ma'o (Mallow): Technically her Japanese name is just Mao, but ma'o is the Hawaiian word for Hawaiian cotton and I feel spelling it that way feels better.

Sophocles or Māmane: Both names after the same plant, the Sophora chrysophylla, it's common and local Hawaiian name being māmane.

Hapu'u (Hapu): Hapu'u is her name in Japanese and comes from hāpuʻu, the Hawaaian tree fern.

Molayne or Mullein: Molayne is just a different spelling tbh and I kinda think it looks better.

Skipping Galar; there aren't really a lot of clear foreigners besides Kabu whose name is the same.

Paldea: Spanish and Portuguese I look at both languages because Paldea is based on the Iberian Peninsula and not just Spain. However, with Portuguese, I'm having to look at Brazilian Portuguese, which is not quite the same as European Portuguese, because that's almost all that's on Bulbapedia. I generally choose whether to use Spanish or Portuguese based on if said name is also the same as the English and/or Japanese name. Or default if only one is available. Also uhh my order might be a bit weird here because I didn't get to actually play these games. I kinda assumed you go through the teachers before Gym Leaders, so...yeah. I can re-order it later if that's wrong or confusing.

Florian: From an unknown region, but the same in English, German, Spanish, French, and Italian.

Juliana: From an unknown region, but the same in English, German, Spanish, French, and Italian.

Nemo(?): She is noted to not be from Paldea but her home isn't specified so it could be anything. Nemona is her name in English and E. Portuguese, Nemo in Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, and Thai, Noêmia in B. Portuguese, Nemila in German, Nemola in Indonesian, and Nemi in Italian. The odd ones out are Mencía in Spanish and Menzi in French.

Which makes me think of the Riddler.

Grusha: Actually may be from an unrevealed Russian region as his name is Russian. It's also the same in most languages.

BUM: Taking Care Of You (Before and After Pregnancy)

When he found out you were pregnant he was ecstatic. He couldn’t wait to become a Dad. You know that he’s going to be a great Dad and that you didn’t need to worry about anything. But he can be over protective sometimes. 

There was one scenario where you wanted to go down the stair and have breakfast with your Father but Yuma was up and early and carried you bridal style downstairs. It was quite embarrassing but your Father liked how he’s treating you like a Queen. “Yuma I’m pregnant. I can still walk. Plus I’m only eight weeks pregnant.”

“Sorry no can do Y/N. Knowing how clumsy you are, you could slip and fall down the stairs.” 

Your Father could only laugh at your current situation. He tried to take your side but he’s just like Yuma, he didn’t want anything bad to happen to his unborn grandchild. It’s two against one, there’s  no way you were going to win. 

You thought that he was being overprotective during your pregnancy was too much, man you were wrong. Once the nine months have passed he went and baby proofed the house. He made sure that you had a comfortable pillow to sleep in and a pillow for your arm when you’re breastfeeding. 

He was very attentive, he would help you get up in the morning and whenever your baby cries, he would tell you to go back to sleep and that he’ll take care of your baby. You were thankful that he’s such a very understanding partner and you know that the two of you will shower your baby with lots of love. “Don’t worry little one, I got you. Mommy and I are here.” He cooed as he tried to calm your baby down.

The moment that you broke the news to him he almost fainted. At first you were upset because he probably didn’t like the new but once he regained consciousness he told you that it was the opposite. He was too excited and fainted on the spot. 

“Thank you Y/N, you’ve made me the happiest man on Earth today.” He kissed your lips and rubbed your belly. “Hey little one, I know you probably can’t hear be yet but I’m your Dad and I will take care of you and your Mom.”

During your pregnancy there were a lot of things that he didn’t allow you to do such as staying overtime at your work place, taking more shifts and changing your diet. You knew that he’s just looking out for you and that he didn’t want you to be stressed or anything, and about the diet part, you knew that he’s doing it to keep you and your baby healthy. He wanted the both of you to be strong. 

He’d make sure that you’d eat in the morning even if it’s something light, you’re eating for two now therefore you can’t skip the most important meal of the day. In all honesty he just didn’t want you to feel nauseous at work or pass out due to skipping breakfast, sure skipping breakfast was fine when it was just you but you now have to consider the baby inside of you. But ever since he walked into your life, you never skip breakfast anymore. 

He took such good care of you during your pregnancy. He was there from the beginning and he was now going to see his baby. When your baby came out you thought he was going to faint just like how he fainted when you broke the new to him but he didn’t, he was crying instead. “Hi there Little One, we’ve been waiting for you.” He cooed. 

“Thank you Y/N for bringing our baby into the world, I know how hard it must’ve been for you.” He kissed your forehead and then leaving you to rest. 

Wherever Itsuki went, he brought your child he wanted to spend all his time with your child he didn’t care what he was doing as long as it was safe and easy for your child, of course nothing too dangerous. 

You know that he’s going to be the type of dad that’ll spoil his child with all of his love.

So for this request, since I am terrible at writing action/fighting scenes, I’ve decided to focus more on the characters comforting the MC

Butler Until Midnight - Protecting/Comforting MC who has a stalker

Yuma Akagi

The first thing you did when you opened the door to your apartment was rush into Yuma’s waiting arms, clinging onto the front of his jacket.

“Miss, is something the matter?”

“I…I think someone’s following me.” You could still remember the foreboding feeling of someone’s eyes lingering on you, the unsettling feeling that crawled along your skin as you had hurried home, almost breaking into a run up the stairs to your apartment.

“Go to the living room, I’ll take a look outside.”

You sit on the couch, hands twisted in your lap as you try to calm yourself down. You’re hypersensitive to any sound around you, startling at the sound of Yuma’s footsteps.

“I took a look outside, but it doesn’t seem like anyone’s around. I made sure the door is locked.” Yuma kneeled in front of you, his hands wrapping around your yours.

He gently undos your clenched fists, looking up at you as he brings your hands to his mouth, his lips gently brushing across the palm of your hands. “You’re going to hurt yourself if you squeeze that hard, _____.”

You couldn’t help but laugh. Even now, Yuma was scolding you just like he’d normally do.

“I don’t normally do this until I’m off duty, but…I suppose I can make an exception for today.” Yuma raises his head to yours as he captures your lips in a a soft kiss, slipping off his gloves so he can touch you with his bare hands.

“You’re safe here, _____. I’ll make sure of it.”

Aoi Shirafuji

“I’ll admit, I like seeing your troubled face, but not when it’s being caused by someone else.” Aoi teases, but holds you tighter in his arms as he sits with you on the couch.

You’d told him about how you had felt someone’s eyes on you, worrying you to the point where you were starting to have trouble sleeping at night.

Aoi tsks softly as you feel his fingers pressing against your lips. “If you bite on your lip that much, you’re going to cut yourself.”

“A-Aoi…” You blush, feeling how his touch lingers around your mouth.

“I suppose if you can’t sleep at night, we can always do some other things.” Aoi murmur, teasing your ears with his lips, smirking at the way that you trembled as he blew a soft puff of his breath over your earlobe.

You were glad that Aoi was being his normal self around you, so you lean in, resting your face against his neck.

“Cuddles?” You peer up at him hopefully, cheering to yourself when Aoi rolls his eyes, relenting to your request.

“Whatever my mistress desires.”

Tomoki Matsuba

“This is why you should always strive to be on time, _____.” Tomoki sighs as he pushes up his glasses. “You should avoid being out alone at this time.”

Tomoki’s lecture goes in through one ear and out the neck as you nod, hands still trembling around the cup of tea you were holding.

“And if you were more efficient at work, you wouldn’t have to stay and work overtime so often.”

You knew Tomoki was scolding you for your own good, but you couldn’t help the tears that were threatening to spill over, still pre-occupied with the fear you had been feeling on your way home that someone was watching you or following you.

“I’m sorry…” You manage to say, keeping your head down so Tomoki doesn’t see the tears that start rolling down your cheek.

You weren’t expecting his arms to wrap around you from the back, his voice apologetic as he hugs you close. “I’m just worried about you, _____. I didn’t mean to upset you more.”

“I-It’s okay.” You reach up to wipe the tears from your cheeks but Tomoki’s beat you to it already, his handkerchief dabbing gently against your skin.

“Starting tomorrow, I’ll pick you up at work. So make sure to finish on time.”

Kyo Aizawa

“Here.”

Kyo sets down a slice of cake in front of you, complete with whipped cream and strawberries.

“Oh, this looks so good!” You can’t help but smile at the sight of your favorite dessert, especially knowing that Kyo had made it himself. “But…where’s the fork?”

“Open your mouth, _____.” Kyo had picked up the cake, spearing a small piece on his fork before he held it to your lips. “K-Kyo, why are you-mph!”

The taste of strawberries and cream bursts on your tongue, immediately lifting your mood. “It’s good…!”

“You’re finally smiling.” Kyo’s smiling softly at you, his smile even sweeter than the cake he was feeding you.

With red cheeks, you let Kyo feed you bite by bite, and you can taste the love and care he put into making the cake. His quiet concern for you warms your heart.

“I won’t forgive anyone that takes your smile away, _____.” You can hear the protectiveness and devotion in his voice as he assures you with his gentle demeanor.

The stress and fear of the day begins to slowly ebb away as you nod, meeting Kyo’s earnest gaze. “Thank you, Kyo.”

You felt safe and protected, and you knew that Kyo wouldn’t let anyone or anything hurt you.

Itsuki Matsuba

Itsuki is humming as he runs the hairdryer over your hair as he’s brushing through your long locks, being careful to be gentle with any tangles. “Your hair is so shiny and smooth, _____!”

After seeing the look on your face when you got home today and hearing about how you were worried that someone was following you, he had declared that tonight would be a pampering night.

Drawing up a hot bath complete with rose-scented bath salts, Itsuki had even teased you about joining you in the bath himself, laughing at the look on your face when you started blushing fiercely at his comments.

You could feel your entire body relaxing under Itsuki’s touch as he rubbed some leave-in conditioner through your hair, the floral scent tickling your nose.

“_____, I know you’re scared.” Itsuki begins, his normally cheerful voice taking on a more serious tone as he meets your gaze through the mirror. “But I’m here for you, and I promise I’ll protect you.”

“You sound like a prince, Itsuki.” You laugh as Itsuki bows dramatically in front of you, holding his hand out for you to take.

“I’m always at your service, milady.”

And with this, I will now give my thoughts on Fumiya throughout the five Season 2 routes. Yuma's Route: Mean but understandable. Aoi's Route: A little meaner but still kinda understandable. Tomoki's Route: Fuck you! Kyo's Route: Double Fuck you!!! Itsuki's Route: Mean at first but later becomes tolerable (probably because of Mio).

BUM: Traumatized

“Anonymous said: Bun Mc is in mental hospital because she is traumatized and wont talk to anyone? (Kyo,itsuki,yuma,aoi)”

“Anonymous said: Bum when mc is kidnapped by a serial killler or something and is tortured for days before she escaped but had to go to mental institution? (Aoi,tomoki,itsuki,yuma)?”

A/N: Trigger Warning! Don’t read if you’re not comfortable with this kind of request! 

Prologue

You were skipping happily to your apartment. Your boyfriend announced that he had a surprise for you waiting after work. You were really excited, you wanted to know what the surprise was.

But because you were too happy, you didn’t notice that someone was following you. However, you had a bad feeling that someone was following you. You just wanted to make sure that no one was following you but when you turned around, they put a cloth over your mouth and nose.

You lost your consciousness afterward. You woke up in a dark room and the only light was the one above you. You were tied to a chair and yelled who was behind this. You threatened them that your father will make their lives a living hell.

“Tsk tsk tsk…” There were footsteps coming to your direction. “Poor little girl, don’t you know that we’re the ones making your dad’s life feel like a living hell? After all, I have you, his most prized possession.”

You struggled. But the more you struggle the more it hurts your wrist. The man who kidnapped you walked away and made a phone call. You were scared, you just wanted to get out of there.

“Mr. Ichijo, if you want your daughter alive, you better give me the ransom money I’m asking. You know the consequences if you don’t follow my orders don’t you?”

“DAD! NO! DON’T DO IT! DON’T LISTEN TO HIM!” You screamed.

“SHUT UP!” The kidnapper slapped you across your face. He slapped you hard that your father could hear it from the other line. “I changed my mind, I think I’m going to have some fun with your Princess for a bit.” He ended the call and you trembled. What was he going to do to you?

He got a whip and started to hit you with it. The first hit hurt like hell but as he kept hitting you, the pain went away. You felt numb, there were no tears coming out of your eyes either.

He tortured you in many ways. He would even use you as a punching bag sometimes if he got bored. But he kept torturing you until he had enough fun.

Throughout the days that you were kept in the room. You were thinking of a plan on how to escape. To your luck, he needed to get some groceries tonight and you took this opportunity to finally leave this place.

You used all your strength to get away from this horrible place. Your father and boyfriend were the ones on your mind and kept you going. They were the ones giving you extra strength.

Finally escaped that place, and saw a car driving by. You waved at them and since they felt sorry for your situation they took you to the hospital. They were nice enough to take you there.

Once you stated your name to the hospital, they immediately contacted your father. The Doctor and Nurses took care of you until your father came. Your father opened the door to your room. “Princess… What did he do to you?” He cried.

All the butlers were present they walked towards you. “DON’T COME NEAR ME! YOU WON’T GET WHAT YOU WANT! MY DAD WILL NEVER AGREE TO WHAT YOU WANT!” They were surprised. The Doctor and Nurse told everyone to leave.

“Mr. Ichijo, I’m sorry to say this but your daughter suffered a lot of torture and her bruises, scars are there to prove it. She was in that place for a long time that whenever someone approaches her with a black uniform she’d immediate think that it was the man who kidnapped her. Miss Y/N is traumatized by her kidnapping. It’s best for us to take her to a mental institution. If she’s there, they can monitor her and help her get better.” That was the suggestion of the Doctor. Although your father didn’t want to agree to something like this there was no choice. He just wanted his daughter back.

Your boyfriend made sure that he’ll find the one responsible for this. They won’t get away with what they’ve done to you. They won’t get away from breaking an innocent person like you.

Kyo Aizawa

His fist was formed into a ball. When he saw how you looked, he blamed himself for not picking you up from work. If only he was there that night with you, this would’ve been avoided.

He often came to visit you at the mental institute. For a person like him who barely talks, this is one of the rare times that he’ll talk. “Hi Y/N, did you know that it’s already Spring? Flowers are starting to bloom again.” He smiled.

You looked out the window as he talked to you. “Please, Y/N say something.” He cried. This has been really hard on him. He wasn’t used to you being quiet, he wasn’t used to him just talking.

Yuma Akagi

Yuma never missed a day visiting you. If only he tracked where you were fast enough, he would’ve been able to save you instead of you having to escape from that hell hole.

He wanted to see you every day because the days you were gone, he never felt scared in his life. He wasn’t sure if you were still alive when you got kidnapped. Now that he knows you’re alive, he wanted to protect you at all costs.

“Hey Y/N look I brought our photo album! This photo was taken the day your father introduced you to everyone on his birthday.” He smiled. He kept on pointing at photos and tell you what event it was taken or when it was taken.

All Yuma wanted was for you to smile, or laugh but he didn’t get anything from you. The Doctors mentioned that because you were traumatized it might take awhile for you to get comfortable with the ones you used to love.

Itsuki Matsuba

He couldn’t imagine what you went through. You must’ve been scared the moment that you were kidnapped. When he saw you at the hospital with bruises on your face and all over your arms he was pissed.

He tried to be happy for you. He wanted to show the happy go lucky Itsuki because he knew that if he looked sad, that’s not something you want. If you saw him sad it meant that he was pitying you and you hated it when people pitied you.

“Look Y/N I bought some magazines! I know you love reading these so I bought a bunch.” He exclaimed.

He’s been trying hard to make you at least look at him. But he had no luck. You were still staring into space somewhere. It broke his heart because without knowing, you were distancing yourself away from him. Although you might not know that, he knows it very well.

Tomoki Matsuba 

He blamed himself for not being there for you sooner, he knew that if he wasn’t late that day you wouldn’t be suffering right now. The moment that the Doctor mentioned about how your kidnappers tortured you, he wanted to leave immediately and take care of them himself. 

Tomoki knew that your scars will always remind you of that day and that it could be the cause of your insecurity in the future. If that were to happen he wanted to be there for you to make sure that there’s nothing to be insecure about, but that something the two of you would talk about once you’re okay. He stayed with you the entire time and would only leave once visiting hours are over. 

It took time for you to get used to his touch but you knew that you felt calmer when he was around. “I brought you your favourite flowers.” He put the bouquet beside your bed and you slightly turned towards it. 

Even if it was a small gesture it was something new. Normally you wouldn’t move at at all, nonetheless this was an improvement. Tomoki is going to make sure you get better even if it takes a long time. 

Aoi Shirafuji 

When you mistaken him as one of the kidnappers it broke his heart. What kind of torture did you go through during those times and how long did you hold on before having enough. How long did you have to endure the pain?

Everyday he’d read to you. He’d probably read five chapters each day and would give you a break from listening him read. After he reads he would paint out of now where and he’d ask you to pick out the colours for him. A ninety-nine percent of the time you won’t even respond to him but he’d observe what colour pops out to you the most. 

Most of the time the colours were out of place but it was nice that you were slowly responding to his question. “Look at our masterpiece Y/N! It doesn’t look too bad if I do say so myself.” He was pretty proud of how the painting turned out. 

You on the other hand just looked at the painting. To Aoi, it looked like you were memorizing every single detail or mentally criticizing his own art, either or he couldn’t wait to hear your voice once again.

So I just purchased and read Kyo's Season 2 in his eyes and completion bonus stories, and I remembered that he's voiced by Takahiro Sakurai. And that got me wondering who voices the other butlers. Does anyone happen to know?
