Quarantine haircut flopped I am the first to admit I am the most impatient person I know but to give myself a haircut and royally f@$& it up well that brings me to a new low. Soo... I cut my hair. Yep, big chop part deux. I felt called to begin again during this past super moon 🌝. I can’t believe it’s been over 2 months now since I had my highlights touched up or dyed my hair. I think that’s the longest I’ve gone in my adult life. My gray is coming in strong and I am no longer worried about what anyone thinks or cares. My plan is to cut quite a bit of the length off in the fall to cut out as much of the remaining dyed hair out and go completely natural. I’ve been trying out @matrix So Silver purple shampoo, conditioner and Triple Power Mask that I received from @topbox to keep the blonde on the more ashy side to match my roots. I’ve tried other purple shampoo’s in the past and it’s probably doing the best out of the bunch for keeping the brassiness at bay. The conditioner and mask really leave my hair feel soft and silky, so a huge bonus. Urgh, we got bored again! And, to think I used to be so precious about my hair. Yesterday was the one year anniversary of my first home chop, it was a pretty big one and I've not looked back since. Its going to take some fixing tomorrow I think. This was kind of a facedown that neither of us would back down from. I asked for a hair cut tomorrow and he said I'll do it now if you want.
