So, a month ago I attended the 2017 Finale of @ThaJuiceJoint (The Last Drop of Juice), and it was absolutely phenomenal. The magic swirling around @TheStudyHollywood was so magnetically powerful that one couldn't help but ride the high vibrations being put out. But, I didn't actually join in on the light work on the mic, I just watched from the crowd and absorbed what I could. Since the announced return date (after Holiday Break) was 1/1/18, the plan was set to return so that I could bring in the New Year in LA, delighting in this experience once again. What better way to launch myself into "20-Great-Teen"? ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ And so, I flew into town Monday as I'd promised myself, and this time the venue was hyper charged with even more magic than I recalled. Alas, the band created a groove that stirred my inner familiar, and I knew then and there that these were just the sorts of defining moments to build upon, for the remainder of the year. Apprehensive still, I questioned if I should wade through the crowd to share. Then, I shrugged my shoulders and said, "Fuck It! Let's Grow!" The end result is an energy that at this hour will not allow me to sleep. I'm intent to LIVE in this reality FOREVER. Yoooooo! Special Thanks to the beautiful people of Tucson, AZ who came out despite the rain, to be indoor Sunshine at @Club4thAve for our '@PoeticSoulAZ Sunday Funday' experience yesterday. The vibration was intoxicating & I promise I'm still riding that high present moment. S/O to @Tm_Hrdn23 on Keys; @K.Lyles on Drums & Special Guest @JessieLBoyce who popped into town to bless us on Sax, for orchestrating a next level musical journey & for taking us along for the ride. It was truly an inexplicable experience to be a part of. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ And then there's Lu. Where do I even begin? This amazing human being @Monarch_Strength_ apprehensively took the stage some 7-8 months ago at our weekly Wednesday #PoeticSoulPhoenix event & fought through fear to gift us an outstanding rendition of @JohnLegend's #OrdinaryPeople. Since then, she has launched into FULL flight as pure Light, sharing the blessing that is her voice to heal hearts and souls across the Valley. I'm so honored to call her friend & to have a front row seat as witness to her amazing abilities. Last night as our @BravoTipOrPay sponsored Featured Artist, she stretched herself beyond #ComfortZone vulnerably sharing Poetry on stage for the first time EVER, while magically weaving music into a soul stirring set - inducing goosebumps throughout, while imparting such life wisdom. As I came up to thank her for gifting us such an incredible experience, she asks that I duet with her.😳 Can I be honest in saying that I wanted to shrink; to hide myself and decline the offer, to say, "No Thank You" & keep the show going?
