Many pro-gun people specifically claimed NY’s gun laws discouraged people from carrying, which the shooter knew when he targeted the place, and that’s why he went after the security guard first.

The only person in the place likely to be armed.

I bet money she can’t name any time there was “this whole movement” for white people to arm up after an attack on white people. 

If this is a reference to school shootings, pro gun folks also criticized the cops in Uvalde and said schools should hire armed security if the cops aren’t going to do their jobs.

The Buffalo shooter wasn’t there to hurt the cashier, he was there to shoot black people, so this is an even more strained “gotcha” than it appears.

Are we talking the same "pro-birthers" who want armed security guards and armed teachers in schools to prevent and stop school shootings? Who criticized the cops for failing at Uvalde?

While the anti-gun folks did logical contortions to convince each other the cops’ failure somehow proved armed civilians don’t work?
