he's always struggled to keep employment due to undiagnosed adhd and has always felt there's something just inherently wrong with him that he can't keep up with life the way other people do

lived his whole life in nyc and was engaged to grayson when he got a job offer that was seemingly too good to be true. he had to choose between his relationship and having financial stability for the first time in his life. it wasn't until he accepted the offer and made it all the way to nowhere Minnesota with the last of his money that he realized he'd been scammed.

he's currently living in the bronx, overstaying his welcome on someone's couch, and has been trying to couch surf and work odd jobs here and there, but can't hold steady work because of how often he gets distracted.

he's insanely good at making music, and often busks to get some money. playing the electric guitar is the only thing that stimulates him enough and not overwhelmingly so that he can do it for hours endlessly

has a stray black cat named Skidmark that he sneaks into all the places he's crashing at

gets super savvy with figuring out basic necessities when he is kicked out and has nowhere to go

kind of embodies a young Frank Gallagher mixed with Shaggy from scooby-doo
