The house was still and quiet as snow slowly fell outside as the end of the year came closer to its end during this unprecedented pandemic

Akaashi carefully leaned forward, clicking his trackpad in order to let the few students who came to the final zoom call of the year, into the call 

“Hi guys,” he leaned forward to his laptop, turning down the volume his intermediate Japanese literature class created just a bit, cautious about moving around too much to not disturb you

You laid peacefully in his lap as a simple head on his self display on zoom, though his class couldn’t really tell since no one paid no mention or comment 

“Thank you for coming. I know you’ve been staring at your screens all semester, but it’s the end. You’ve made it to the end of this really strange school year,” he congratulated, a small smile spreading on his features as he clapped silently, looking to the exhausted few as they donned comfortable clothes, all in their personal bedrooms or dorms from what he could see

“How did the exam go? Unless you all don’t want to talk about it and we can talk about other things,” he suggested

there was a pause of silence as his students made certain expressions 

“It was actually really hard this year,” one student piped up as others agreed with, adding their own comments, nodding

The low ten of students out of the forty in the call went off about the various passages, describing their confusion and obstacles they faced, how difficult it was to keep their eyes from drying or straining after staring at the screen in a silent room for hours

Akaashi listened to his class, a slight smile on his face as he listened to their remarks while his arm rested on your arm as you laid on your side, facing the back of the couch

He rubbed his thumb over your arm as you slept, glancing to his side to you, adjusting the light, fluffy blanket as it kept your body warm

Over time, he offered suggestions about the passages to his class, offering his words of wisdom on how they could’ve approached it differently or in this way in order to figure out what the message/ what the question(s) were asked of them and only afterwords did any misunderstandings they faced with on the exam were cleared 

His voice was silky smooth and clear, still dressed professionally even at home in casual attire

He wore a tanned beige turtleneck sweater, his sleeves neatly rolled back on his arms while wearing black pants with a belt, his glasses tying the entire look together

Some students even took the class after seeing him once around campus

the conversation shifted to non-academic topics, talks about possible plans or solid plans of what his students were going to do over break surfaced 

“Dr. Akaashi, what’s that on your lap?” A student asked, making everyone look at their screen’s closer to what the student had pointed out

And then they saw it, not really realizing it before

There was a white cushion on his lap with what seemed like a head of some sort on it

“This is my wife,” he adoringly glanced down to you, carefully tucking a strand of hair from your face as you slept soundly 

his students listened in awe at how long you had been there and they didn’t really even notice it until now

but they also listened since he never really spoke about his private life at home, he always had a false background during calls or sat in front of a blank white wall 

“She has a cold but she wanted to be with me during class today despite all the times I wanted to tuck her into bed. She’s fast asleep,” he smiled, his eyes trained on you 

All the girls in the call erupted in awe seeing how affectionate their professor was

They could see so clearly how much he loved you just by seeing how the way he looked at you after a few seconds

“I hope she feels better,” one added

“Is it like a flu cold?” Another asked

“She’s about seven months pregnant so it’s mainly dizziness and chills from morning sickness.”

Another wave of awes, even louder, erupted from the class, making Akaashi break into a smile both from his students but also the fact that you now held his hand in your sleep, right in front of your face

Your short, hot breaths tickling his skin

“Alright, guys, great job this semester, I hope you all enjoyed the class and now have an excellent understanding of intermediate Japanese literature. Good luck to those who have more exams and happy new year and holidays to those who are done.”

“I will end the call here, good bye,” he waved off his class as he ended the final zoom of the year, having the rest of winter break to spend with you, and his soon to be born child

He stayed still where he was for the next couple of hours, combing his fingers through your hair, making sure you were comfortable while he caught up on his novel, looking down to you ever now and then, a tiny part of him wishing you were awake so he could see your eyes

ever since you turned 16, you’ve literally gone colorblind

like you were perfectly happy seeing the colors of the world

from daichi’s red sweater

to hinata’s orange hair

you were ROBBED of the colors of the world

when you woke up that morning, you knew you would get your soulmate sign soon and you were sure it would happen while you were in class as it would start the exact time you were born 16 years ago

so there you were, happily eating with nishi and tanaka at the roof

‘hey, y/n-chan, look at this manga i found!’

you look up at noya and you almost choked on your rice ball when you couldn’t see his blonde streak anymore

it was like the moment you blinked, it was gone

he must’ve noticed your surprised look because noya touched the front floof since you were staring right at it

tanaka had his mouth opened and patted your back when you coughed

‘ah, it happened now?’

then you just start bawling

from then on, all you’ve done is research all you can about soulmate signs and how they worked

yours happens to be a rarer one and you groaned bc of course it would happen to YOU

it states that usually, the moment you lock eyes with your soulmate, you’d get your lost sense back

but you wouldnt know when it would exactly happen and be like your uncle who is nearly 40 and still cant smell anything

whats worse, there were even cases where you wouldnt get them back in one sight but gain them when they start to have romantic feelings for you

you really do hope you’d get the easier 

being a part-time manager, you often helped the vbc if you were free from your other clubs so you sometimes help kiyoko with the kids

entering the gym, you frowned when you saw hinata and the gray tone of his hair

everything was gray but colors that are light like yellow or bright orange, were lighter gray while darker ones were dark gray or black

seems like tanaka and noya told the team what happened because daichi went up to you and ruffled your hair before saying it’ll be okay

‘give it time! you will find them!’

yacchi, a manager-in-training, enthusiastically told you about her ideas for the poster and gave you her rough draft, explaining the little details

but you were out of it as you just roamed your eyes over the gray-colored paper

thus causing her to freak out

after that whole thing about announcement of the tokyo training camp and the hinata/kageyama idiot squad

you guys were in the bus, getting ready for Tokyo

it’s also been weeks since you lost it so you were still new but you were starting to get used to it

ofc you still had mistakes like their different colored practice jerseys and who was in what team or wearing different colored socks

but you were slowly adapting

it was a few hours of a drive so everyone was static to get out of the cramp bus and use the bathroom and stretch their legs

you took your time and put the others trash into a plastic bag bc youre just a great manager like that

getting out of the bus, you heard a horrendous and terrifying laugh and saw the nekoma captain hunching over in laughter

‘my god. at least his face makes up for it’

you got a text from hinata and kageyama saying that they were going to take their exams now and you sent them a little encouraging blurb

the guy from nekoma with the mohawk gawked at the 3 managers and you remembered him having that blonde hair dye

when you and the rest entered their gym, all you saw were balls flying everywhere and lots of people

your eyes scanned for at least someone to make eye contact with you because this gym has a lot of people in it and there could be a possibility they were in here

like 0.000003% probably but still a chance

from the managers to the players, not one reactivated the colors

‘hm,,, i think my soulmate is in here’

noya’s little comment made you glare at him in envy and he grinned with a peace sign

you noticed that boy kenma with his haircut and there was someone sitting near him that made you turn to the others

‘okay, either i just have terrible memory but is that a new guy?’

suga wondered the same thing and you flinched at the kid’s harsh stare at you all

there was a light gray tone to his hair and eyes so you were curious what color they were

‘his legs look a little long. i think he’s taller than most of these guys’

asahi said which made you give him a look

‘listen, as long as we got tsukki-kun, we’re okay’

the first match was against some powerhouse called fukurodani and they had a few interesting players

by interesting, you meant looks wise

that one guy looked freaking pretty with his sharp eyes while the other guy, who you assumed to be the captain, had round eyes and spiked hair

you were pretty sure that he had different colored hair due to the mix of black and light tones

AND THE WAY IT WAS STYLED THO

its like he got electrocuted and his hair just stayed the same

you were too busy looking at the 2 teams that you completely missed karasuno’s defeat and just saw them doing flying receives

the others gathered to the side and the next game was against fukurodani and nekoma

from hearing the names being said, that pretty guy was akashi or aggghasshi and the owl looking dude was bokuto-san or bokutosang or something bokuto bc youre not exactly sure

and then he be flying

‘he REALLY flying!’ 

you exclaim and tbh what can you expect from being one of the top 5 aces in the country

then the ball straight flew towards your own player and you and yamagucci screamed for his name

everyone flinched when the ball hit his hand and you ran over to check

‘ouch’

you hear that loud voice of his on top of kei’s hiss and you growled

‘HEY HEY HEY’

he didnt even apologize and if it wasnt for tanaka and daichi holding you back, you were about to scream into the guys ear for damaging your player’s hand since he needed it to block properly

‘LET ME GO! WHO DOES HE THINK HE IS INJUR-’

suga smiled and raised a hand apologetically your shouts caught the attention of others

the more games karasuno played, the more they lost

you went to fill up their water bottles and was mumbling to yourself, blaming that freak haired guy for tsukki’s pained blocks

‘didnt even apologize. how dare he hurt my boy’

bokuto was going for a drink when he heard your mumbles by the water fountain

he noticed you as the karasuno manager and poked you in the shoulder

‘ah! youre the manager!’

cue you looking to glare at him since you could recognize that voice anywhere

‘and you are?’

taken aback with your tone, he grinned

‘bokuto. bokuto koutarou’

‘ah’

then you went back to filling up the bottles

he fiddled with his towel before poking you again

‘um,,, i want to apologize for earlier. sorry about that spike’

you stopped and you nodded

‘i appreciate the apology, bokuto-san. but you should say it to him’

bo guessed that you were kinda their mother hen and you looked after the players of your team

closing the lid of the last bottle, you placed it on the basket

his eyes widened before shouting

you jumped at the sudden volume of his voice and awkwardly smiled

his eyes widened before patting your shoulder gently

you were lowkey kinda iffy since you dont really call anyone senpai, everyone was -san to you

bo laughed loudly and ruffled your hair

your head looked up and you saw the pretty guy walking towards you

he bowed in front of you in both greeting and apology

‘sorry about him. he gets a little excited sometimes. im akaashi keiji by the way’

you waved it off and smiled gently

‘nice to meet you, akaashi-san. and dont worry, i have two people like him in my team’

‘come on. the next game is about to start’

he tugged bokuto’s arm and bo waved at you before walking away

‘see ya!’

but stopped

‘ah! i didnt get your name!’

when you came back, the boys were still doing flying and you glanced at your watch, knowing that your boys should be coming soon

you and yacchi were visibly listening to the other players talking about your team and kiyoko gave you both a look to settle down

the sea of different tones of gray were currently making you dizzy with so many things happening at ones and you completely missed the door opening, revealing tanaka’s sister

noya’s excited shout made you turn and you waved excitedly

you’ve met her once when you went over to help tutor her poor brother and noya who practically lives at their house

everyone stopped what they were doing and saw the two boys huffing by the door

you heard kuroo’s comment but you were too excited to see them come back in one piece

‘ah, so those are the legendary first years’

hm, if only you knew why they were late

bo saw you with wide eyes and excitedly bouncing at the sidelines as karasuno started to play

‘what are you looking at bokuto-san?’

akaashi asked

bo thought you were interesting the moment he heard you angrily mumble about him and he thought your pouting face was cute

akaashi knew about his soulmate sign since he received a very frantic phone call that sunday afternoon of bokuto not being able to see the color of his apple anymore

although the boys team was finally complete, they still lost quite a lot of sets

and they were trying so hard and you were just cheering on the sidelines w yacchi and kiyoko

you kept running back and forth from the drinking fountain since the boys kept drinking so much water

so the remaining of the time there, bo was practically stuck to you as he followed you everywhere

literally cannot stand still and the team was tired of having to keep him from running so akaashi just let him go

he finally sees that tangerine hinata and was searching for your hair color and when he sees you laughing at kuroo’s face, his eyes widened

his heart beat started beating really really fast and everything in his brain and all the words he wanted to say died down

he never really saw your face with colors but he just stares in awe at your beautiful skin color, breathtaking eyes, silky hair, and those plump lips

sweat started to gather at his palms and his feet started moving on its own until he just scoops you in his arms, lifting you off the ground in the process

w you, there was a silence

‘your eyes,,,,, theyre beautiful’

bo just grins at the crack of your voice and tears just wells up in your eyes w a smile

‘bo!’ 

you shouted and you wrapped your legs around his waist while he burrows his head in your neck

‘you’re so beautiful. oh my god, you’re so beautiful’

omg what i would do for bo to say that to me

obvs, the others knew what was happening

kuroo just recording the whole thing

just forgets about everyone and being in your own bubble and your own world as bokuto just professes his love for you

you giggled and he finally allowed you to stand on your own two feet

THE NEXT DAY  

Oikawa and his friends approached Tendou with the cash. Tendou started counting the hundred dollar bills in his hand. After he was finished he placed it in his pocket. 

“Pleasure doing business with you.” Oikawa said as he reached his arm to shake hands. Tendou brushed him off and started to walk away.  

Tendou didn’t know much about you, but he had his friends on his side and he was sure by the end of the day he would have the perfect plan to impress you. 

Time skip to lunch...

Tendou walked through the outdoor courtyard where the tables were. Looking around, he spotted you quickly as he recognized you from a photo Terushima had shown him earlier. As he approached, your other 3 friends had joined you now. 

“Hey Babe.” He said. y/n looked up and rolled her eyes. He noticed his approach wasn’t going to work. He sat down beside you. Yamaguchi was on the other side of the table now looking like he was going to either throw up or pee himself. 

“What do you think you are doing?” y/n snapped at him..  

“Just trying to get a pretty girls number.” Tendou replied to her. 

“Gross, can you go somewhere else to try and get pussy. I am not interested.” 

“I am not interested in that. I just want to take you out on a date. Is it such a crime to want to take a pretty girl on a date?” He said with a smirk plastered on his face as he moved in closer.

“I’ll give you 10 seconds to get the fuck outta my space before I box you in the face.” He gave a small chuckle, still wearing that signature smirk. 

“I’ll see you later babe. You can’t say no forever.” He got up and left. She watched as he pulled a cigarette from his pocket as he walked up to his friends. 

“That was really weird.” Tsukishima was the first to speak up. 

“Tsk, I think you mean disgusting. He was obviously looking for something more then a date. He is a monster after all.” 

“Maybe he wasn’t. No one ever knows what goes through his head or what he will do. That's how he became guess monster y/n.” Y/n ignored Shirabu as she turned to face Yamagucci again. 

“You good Gucci? You look a little scared?” Y/n asked him. 

“He is the leader of the monsters… Of course I was scared.” He said

While this was happening, Tendou had approached Oikawa to get your number for him or the deal was off and he’d keep the cash. Now at Oikawa’s table on the opposite side of the courtyard to where y/n was, he went to sit back down.  

“He wants her number or the deals off.” He said to them. He let out a deep sigh, “I can’t ask Mei or she will be suspicious, and none of her friends will give it to me.” 

“Dude, that's it.” Atsumu said as Oikawa looked up at him. “Her friends.” 

“What about them? They all hate me just as much as I hate them.” 

“Shirabu is on Bokuto’s team though. Bo can steal her number off his phone.” Atsumu replied. 

“I definitely can't. I will be practicing with him. One of you guys can try but count me out. I am not getting caught and kicked off the team.” Bokuto said. 

“Alright, Bo you chose.” 

“Pick a number between 1-10.” Bokuto said with a confident smile. 

“4 for ace.” Kuroo said.

“YES! Kuroo you pick who does it!” 

“Easy Oikawa. He got himself into this, he should figure it out himself.” Oikawa let out a deep sigh. 

“Looks like we got a game to attend tonight guys. You want to be my look out for me Iwa-chan?”

“Don’t get me involved in your schemes Shittykawa.”  

Oikawa slipped his number into Tendou’s locker between classes as the day went on. Oikawa had to do this cause he could no longer risk being seen too close to any of the Monsters, or it would bring his reputation down. 

Time skip to the Rep Volleyball game…

Oikawa’s POV 

I waited till the game had started and was at least a few minutes in. I stood up and headed to the players locker room. Checking my phone I read the locker number again that Bokuto had texted me a little while earlier. I glazed along the line till I found locker number 10. The lockers are not locked, so I opened it up and took the phone out. 

Thankfully, Kuroo is in his last period so he was able to see his passcode as he sits behind him. I typed it in fast as I opened it up to his contact. All his friends' names seem to be in nicknames, so I opened his messages and started to go through them. Luckily, they had pictures and I was able to find her number fast within a group chat. 

Before placing his phone back in his locker I browsed his twitter to find her account and add that to the text I sent off to Tendou. I rushed out and returned to my seat just in time for the first half to be over as Bokuto glanced up at where we were seated. I gave him a subtle thumbs up. 

Things were starting to fall into place, I couldn’t wait to see how this turns out from here.

○ Bokuto and Tanaka I see knocking back shots like water and then it hits them all at once and they’re that one “haha, I’m in danger meme.” Bokuto especially, he’s pretty tall and beefy so he knows no real fear since it’d probably take a lot to get him drunk, but it also means he’s awful at pacing himself. One second, he’s having a great time, and the next he’s throwing up into the bushes outside (literally the premise of one of my next fics lmao).

○ Noya and Tendou’s YouTube video titles seem like clickbait but they’re also 100% real and it makes no sense. 

○ Yamagucci (I should really stop writing his name like that as a joke because I forget what it's actually spelled like lol) would be more low-key about it since he knows that he's not that "manliest of men" and people can consider liking Taylor Swift to be "girly." So, every time someone asks him what he's listening to, he has to prevent himself from saying that he's been streaming nothing but Fearless (Taylor's Version) since it's dropped. He'd have to scramble and blurt out something basic like "Nirvana" or "Da Baby" to cover his ass.

Once he said "Nickelback" and he wasn't sure if that was better or worse 😭 Jokes on him, though, because it's 2021. We don't hate Taylor Swift for no reason (or misogynistic ones).

○ Oikawa and Hinata’s little Brazil meetup? Yes they listened to You Belong With Me on repeat, and no they will not be taking criticism for it.

○ Tsukishima’s tough as hell ‘till you steal his big ass headphones and find out he’s been listening to “She Will Be Loved” this whole time.

○ Hoshiumi yells at his own cat because it's just... Staring at him while he scrolls through his own phone on his couch. He's most likely in its signature spot or is 5 minutes too late with feeding it dinner. When he glances up and sees the hatred brewing in its stare, he starts to raise his voice. "Don't look at me like that, dummy! I took your balls once, and I'd do it again. Remember who's boss here!!"

tsukishima made a server for y'all after you bribed him (also some of his viewers begged him to)

kageyama and hinata teamed up and killed tsukishima, not even a minute in

and you were just there like “:o chat yall seeing this shit”

yall spawned in near a birch flower forest biome thingy and you and yachi bolted over there

you asked yachi to be your minecraft gf and she accepted

as soon as she said yes, kageyama and hinata killed tsukki again lmao

you and yachi moved to a different voice call bc hinata kept screaming about how tsukki was after him now

you guys began planning on having a cute little cottage core home together

you go mining while yachi makes a farm + gathers animals

yachi screamed of joy when she found a chicken family

she also screamed when she happened to find a pink sheep

you guys are just talking about random stuff and were just vibing for the rest of the stream

the next time you stream on the server, you see that yams made a cute little spawn place and yams took you on an adventure to go see his home in the snowy mountains

tsukki logged on and you and yams proceeded to go try to find his home despite tsukki tell you to fuck off

for some reason, he starts giving you guys clues on where he’s at

you’re all like “omg friendship 🥰″

but in reality, someone donated like 50 bucks for him to kill you and he’s taking this opportunity to lure you guys

hinata logs on and he immediately calls you

thirty minutes later, hinata has gotten you lost in a soul sand biome

only plus from this trip is that you got a lot of glowstone

you ended up having to call kageyama and ask him to come save you bc yams was mining god knows where and tsukishima would never help you bc he’s a bully <3

kageyama was calling both of you dumbasses in the vc

hinata bc hinata is hinata and you for following hinata blindly

then he got lost somewhere else in the nether <3

and now the three of you were fighting as you ran away from ghasts and skele bois

he gets pissed off a lot and leaves the server bc everytime you guys start a fight, someone will be like “okay Setter_soul_x”

now to just talk about general stuff

i feel like yams and tsukki would be those bitches who make exp farms and shit

like one day you’ll log on and you’ll ask them where they’re at and they’ll be like “oh we’re making an enderman farm in the end” or “we just finished a villager breeder” or some shit like that

yachi would stick to farming and being a cottagecore gay and you would be the one to do most of the mining and shit

sometimes she’d follow you when you go to fight someone or just bother them

hinata made a giant netherrack meatball at spawn and inside of it is just pure hell

everytime someone tries to go in it, they get blown up by a creeper or smth bc its so fucking dark in there bc the dumbass forgot to put some type of light source in there

kageyama’s house is just a cube-shaped hole he mined somewhere and everytime he wants more space he’ll just expand the cube

you and tsukki end up teaming up together at one point and made a railroad to everyone’s homes and to different biomes

when everyone fought the wither, tsukki, yamaguchi, and hinata did most of the work you and kageyama were far away watching like “damn thats crazy” (yachi wasnt streaming at the time and just told you guys she didnt care if you did it without her)

when it was time for the ender dragon, it was a whole different story

tsukishima and yamaguchi were hella prepared and were calmly going around destroying the end crystals while you, hinata and kageyama were just trying to get away from all the angry endermen

yachi was just placing water down and making cobblestone huts y’all could hide under

once tsukki and yams finished destroying the end crystals, you joined them in shooting down the ender dragon

kags and hinata were still fighting endermen 

like all you’d see is “ __ was slained by Enderman” messages as you listened to tsukki and yams talk to each other calmly

yachi said she wasnt fighting no dragon bc fuck that shit

one y’all did kill the dragon, hinata tried to claim the dragon egg and tsukishima yelled at him for like ten minutes bc hinata didnt do shit

and while tsukki fought with hinata and kageyama, you and yachi followed yamaguchi into an end gateway

you found an end city but then you fell outta the world </3 dont ask how, you just did

you decided to log off and that was that

another time you logged on, tsukki invited you to go with him to a woodland mansion bc he got a map

you thought he was being fishy but you went anyways bc content

everything was going well, you guys traveled there together, found a desert temple along the way, you tamed a cat, tsukki talked about conspiracy theories with you

but then you got to the mansion and you lost him

you were like tsukki where tf you’d go and he would tell you a place and you would go and he wasnt there

you were about to cry bc so many mobs were after you and u just boxed yourself into a little dirt hut in the corner and you kept yelling at tsukki in vc

he muted himself bc he was laughing his ass off at your pain heart been broke so many times

he finally came to get you bc apparently he already moved upstairs and just as you calmed down, tsukki betrayed you

you walked in front of him in fear of mobs hitting you from behind but tsukki ended up hitting you with a sword to death </3

you immediately logged off and then cried to your stream about fake friends for like ten minutes while listening to the inside out soundtrack

your chat convinced you to log back on and hesitantly joined the vc again and tsukishima apologized while trying to hold back laughter and told you that he put your stuff in your chest and you were like 🥺🥺🥺

overall the server is very chaotic but kinda nice bc family bonding ❤️ and even tho tsukki is a dick he along, with yams, help you and yachi out sometimes so your cottagecore aesthetic thrived

Semi from Haikyuu goes to Karasuno sometimes to study in their prestigious library, because Karasuno is a satellite campus of Shiratorizawa known for its very excellent students. However, Semi has to take 3 hours of train to get to Karasuno because it is in Tokyo while Shiratorizawa is in Kyoto.

Whenever Semi goes to Karasuno library, the bois, especially Noya, Tsukki, and Yamagucci, tries to track him to annoy the shit out of him. Semi always tries to hide to study in peace, but to no avail.

milk bread!! Tooth loves his milk bread and he was just snacking on It one night when his kid crawls toward him, curious what he was eating. They were at the age where they could make noises in response like whines and cries if they were upset or didn’t like something but not yet in the talking phase. He found this so cute since it was one of his favorites and he knew his baby had good taste cause after giving them some, they did their little grabby hands for more, resulting him in pinching some more and little by little. You told him not to since it would spoil their meal but he literally just couldn’t help it. They were just a baby but they made it look so good, with their eyes so wide and bright like his when he was a child. Their chubby cheeks chewing on the bread. He was already beginning to seeing a lot of himself as a child in his own kid. Every now and then, he would get out a slice as a snack and the two of them would eat it, sometimes in secret and sometimes not but it was their little thing

Daichi: 

Being an officer was very demanding. Society was cold like this world but nothing warmed Sawamura more than being able to come home super late at night or super early in the mornings, just in time to see his baby wake up or be fast asleep. His absolute weakness was when his baby smiled in their sleep or just seeing their little yawn. Even as adults, yawns were able to make your whole body react, sending chills or just letting your body relax but there was something about seeing his baby yawn that just made him absolutely weak for them. They were already so precious to him, so small that he wanted to protect them forever but it was just how their short, chubby limbs would react that really made his heart flutter. Hearing their little coos as they slept, their tiny minds drifting and taking them away to a dream world as they slept soundly, even in his arms. When his baby slept in his arms, it was one of the best feelings. He would graze his thumb along their cheek as the two of you looked down and adored them, getting them to smile in their sleep.

Bokuto: 

his kids’ giggles omg. If you thought he was a ball of sunshine, you clearly haven’t met his kids. Literally whenever they see him, fits of giggles, little grabby hands, chubby, puffy cheeks blown up. He just had to “chomp” and blow raspberries and kiss them. He’ll do this thing where he lays his kids down and like kisses their cheeks rapidly, making them laugh cause it tickles but it’s so cute. Spends 100% of his days off with his kids and makes them laugh and smile and omg. God forbid they ask for anything cause he will say yes. Ice cream? Buckle up! Candy? Just a few pieces wouldn’t hurt. A dog? Bo will suddenly have a new younger sibling running around with him. He just wants his kids, like all other kids, to enjoy and have a bright and happy childhood. He will never love his kids’ laughs and smiles and giggles any less. However, the cherry on top would be the times he would come home and just hear the giggling. Like finding them playing in the crib together or around Bo, or even at the rumba making its way around the room or their reflections. His heart would do so many flips after such a tiring day, it’s so refreshing
