Special edition Christmas fic where genin aged team 7 decide hatch their newest plot to see Kakashi's face: using mistletoe

And the kids get "Sukea" on board, thinking he can take a photo the second Kakashi pulls his mask down for a smooch. Then, at the end, Sukea goes, "Oh no the camera's memory card is gone, Kakashi must have stolen it :((" and the kids all scream in agony

(They get another person to try to snap a photo of him but they turn out to be a freezer so they don't take the picture. When the kids harass them ab it they just giggle a little maniacally ab his face)

This does escalate to doing this shit w enemy nin btw. Funniest option is obviously Tobi but I'm also raising u a really freaked the fuck out Itachi looking like an angry, surprised cat after Kakashi gives him a peck on the cheek (Sasuke is gonna fucking KILL HIMSELF)

Fucking, all of them.

The right answer is S3 because it's what you'd usually think is a burst skill except it lasts 50 entire whole seconds and it gives her global range, machine gun 5-instance heals with individually reduced, altogether MUCH stronger output, jacked buffs for Max HP and Elemental DMG reduction, and it basically exists on a 60 SP cooldown at M3. Even if you're not dealing with Elemental Damage, this still just raw outheals most damage the game can throw at you that isn't an outright one hit kill against any given unit.

The correct answer is that all three of her skills are absolutely goofy goober-tier overtuned. After S3, you want to master S1, which is a permanent buff once it goes active that gives a minor ATK buff, multitarget (2 units at once), and whenever she heals someone, EVERYONE in range gets a minor Elemental DMG heal. 60 SP activation at M3.

And if you think I left S2 for last because it's not good, think again, S2 is the last thing you want to Master because it's god damn broken even at SL7. You don't NEED to Master this one for it to be e-sports. Being able to give characters a 650% of her ATK barrier against Elemental Damage for 14 whole seconds is very much enough to tank pretty much every possible existent instance of Elemental Damage in the game possibly maybe barring very High Waves Ubi Bona Somnia flowerstacks or Phase 2 Highmore soloblasts, and if none of those words make sense to you, then you don't need to worry about any case use of something stronger than SL7. There IS a point to M3ing this skill, though: At M3, S2 has a 20 SP cooldown and the barriers last 20 seconds. So, uh, you can just have 100% upkeep on 900% ATK barriers. In case you ever feel like Not Having To Ever Deal With Elemental Damage Ever Again, Period.

Skills aside, keep in mind Eyjaberry the Holungday is a Wandering Medic so she enjoys god-tier range making positioning very easy, also her heals all leave a small regen (HP and Elemental DMG) effect that can stack up to three times per character, and if you're in range, you have Max HP+ and Elemental DMG reduction, so basically, yeah, summer unit goofy goober overtuning strikes once again, healer edition. About her only weaknesses are that S3 has a 60 SP cooldown timer so you may have a gap in its use, which would be an issue if you didn't have 11 more slots in your squad to do stuff during that minute.

its still sooo fucking funny to me that they really went all-in on "50 years ago is now the 70's" bc that aesthetic worked like a charm and i can't imagine anything else now. it is kinda jarring that theyre not on the ARK and Maria isn't sick but ofc the narrative still works without those facts. people are gonna be a bit upset about that one, but out of allll the plot holes this movie has (they NEVER explain how tf Gerald is still alive btw), that's one that's pretty easy to step over

there was one part with Gerald yelling "KIDS!" and both of them turn around and it just GOT me right thru the heart like yes!! he was a kid, too!! in between all the tests and labwork, he was learning how to live and they took it all away from him right when he was starting to figure it out :(((((

i think i agree with the general reaction that his character is really great here! the first 20 minutes are basically every trailer we've seen in sequence, so his jokes & one-liners feel top-heavy and then they even out, esp as the later acts kick in and there's no more time for games lol. those trailers are doing him a bit of a disservice now bc compared to the eggmen, sonic is hardly that obnoxious in the full film, but the marketing doesnt care ofc

The Scene that mirrors Shadow's last moment with Maria is SO GOOD, i'm kinda shocked they didn't have him turn right there (but i'm glad that it was Sonic that made him turn, and that he got to throw some of his rage right back at him in process)

Kinda goddamn wild that for a moment it seemed like Shadow had fully killed a human, onscreen, in front of god and everybody. I actually wondered if he could still come back from that, for a minute.

it seems to be a common opinion that they went a bit too far with the jim carrey-isms, and i agree. i generally felt like it was an ok balance for awhile, then they cut into LIVE & LEARN with gerald spanking ivo and i actually sighed and cringed. you dont cut into live & learn for anything, but especially that!!!!

no matter if they were lying you were already packing your bag full of clothes, face masks, and snacks. you tied your hair into a quick puff, not caring how messy it looked and started on your way to dina's dorm room which was only a couple minutes away. you arrived on side b in under five minutes, scanning your keycard on the door and letting yourself in. you walked up the stairs to dina and ellie's dorm and quickly knocked on the door. you heard giggling and running to the door and dina answered it a few seconds later. "beating the poor allegations, cmon now!" dina laughed as she let you in, letting you instantly become at home with the two other familiar faces. you said a quick hello to ellie and jessie, as they sat on the floor playing some video game on the tv. this was nice, everyone just hung around and was friendly, and you could use a break from reality. you emptied your bag out on dina's bed, the snacks you bought falling to the side. "guess what i bought guys," you said with a huge smile on your face.

"ALCOHOL?" jessie yelled, rising to her feet and taking huge steps towards you. "no idiot, i bought baked goods from the shop! they let me take leftovers home today!" you said excitedly as you unpacked the goodies while walking over to the coffee table that was placed in the middle of the room. went back over to the bed, grabbing the shorts and tank top you bring to change into, just to make yourself a little more comfortable. you stripped right there in front of them, it wasn't weird between you, dina, and jessie to just strip and ellie was too distracted by the game to notice. but out of the corner of her eyes, she could see you sliding the shorts up your legs and placing the tank over your head and down your torso. she wouldn't mention it though, it wasn't that big of a deal.

"alright party people, LET'S EAT!" you yelled excitedly, grabbing a fruit tart from the nicely placed baked goods. letting the fruit and dough fill your mouth with its amazing flavor, "you know last week, i worked overtime to help the night shift! it was so fucking fun" you sounded muffed because of the tart still in your mouth, but you dragged the end of your sentence on. "oh my god, does that mean you got to work with the cute junior?" jessie squealed, picking a chocolate muffin from the table and taking a bite. "you mean sam, the guy whos like my cousin? gross jess ... just gross but yes i worked with samual." you jokingly said, watching as dina laughed at jessie. "hey at least i want a dude, you two cant pick someone for the life of you!" jessie defended, letting a sly smirk rise to her lips.

"i see why they call you jessie messy now," dina laughed as her head came crashing on your shoulder, you pushed her off with a shove. making her push you back, you enjoyed this, the unity between you all. you could see ellie grabbing a fruit tart too, her eyes widening with how good it was, "shit i might have to go to bushes more often! this shit is good!" ellie exclaimed, making you all fall into another fit of laughter. "I'm glad you like it ellie, and hey if you come by more often i can slide you more free treats," you said as you smiled at her. jessie and dina made gagging and kissing sounds as you both spoke. you hit the back of their heads, "shut up guys, omg let's do face masks, i bought so many!" you got up and ran towards the bed, grabbing the face masks and then running back.

you laid them all out on the floor, letting the girls pick which one they wanted. dina chose a blueberry-themed one, jessie an apple one, ellie chose the orange and you were left with strawberry. "we are gonna look like ten-year-olds, that's so funny!" you said as you opened the package. you placed the mask on your face and smoothed it with your fingers, and so did the rest of them. "jessie move over, i wanna play too" you said taking the controller from near her feet, they were playing mario cart. "i claim princess peace ellie, don't try to be slick," you said, moving the curls that were now stuck down to your forehead. "alright princess, looks like I'm going with mario,' ellie joked as she took another bite of the nearly gone tart.

by this point you both were six rounds in, jessie and dina were gossiping as you kept beating ellie in this childish game. "damn mario, what happened, ain't you supposed to win?" you joked, elbowing her softly to try to distract her. "cant with those hyenas back there gagging on air" that made you laugh so hard you let go of the controller, letting ellie become first place again. dina and jessie now laughing with you, you realized what ellie had done. oh that sly bastard, "cheater!" you yelled as you grabbed the pillow from behind you and hit her head. making her raise her hands in defense, "i am no such thing!" she yelled back, moving the pillow swiftly and refocusing her character. that's how most of your night was spent, eating baked goods and a bunch of junk and playing stupid video games.

"guys we should play a game, TOGETHER!" dina made sure to include that, making you and ellie's small talk stop and focus on them. "okay d, whatcha got in mind?" ellie said as she scooted closer to the pair, and you did the same. "truth or dare," jessie said evilly, letting a sneaky smirk onto her face. you and ellie both groaned, letting out a mixture of fine's and okay's as you all sat in the circle. your and ellie's knees touched, you never really noticed but ellie was buff. her arms and thighs were muscly, like some sort of eighties eye candy, and you wanted the bait. "okay ill ask first, ms. strawberry shortcake over there, truth or dare." you thought for a second, no matter what, they would lead the question to ellie somehow so you chose the easiest option. "truth," you said confidently, letting jessie think of her question for a second. "is it true that you are super single and ready to mingle" jessie said between breathy laughs.

"way to kill me with the cringe, but yes," you replied, laughing at her idiotic antics. now that, made a smile go to ellie's face, she was so happy you were single. "now my turn, dina, truth or dare?" you asked, patiently waiting for her to answer. "truth," classic dina, never wanting to be a risk taker. "is it true ... you have a super crush on jesse- not our friend but you know ... the dude" you made sure your question was as clear as daylight. "wow getting to the point, okay, yeah sure i do!" she squealed out, hiding her face in her hands. jessie laughed, "dina you have to date him! dina and jesse sitting in the tree-", "enough" dina whined out. "now it's my turn, ellie, is it true you are seeing someone right now?" dina knew it wasn't true, she just wanted to see how you would react. no matter how hard you tried, dina could see right through you, the ways your eyes lost their light quickly.

ellie's eyes widened a bit before answering, "oh shut up dina, you know that's not true." ellie said as dina laughed. "I'm bored dina, can we go to the store" jessie wined out, getting up from the floor and starting to throw a jacket on. "yeah jess lets go, you kids be good." dina said as she quickly threw her jacket on and zoomed out the door with jess. they set you up! you knew it, those sneaky little girls! you looked at ellie, "so uh, do you have any hobbies?" you questioned, moving your body to face hers. "yeah i do, firstly i play sports here but in my free time, i draw and play guitar," jesus you almost melted under her gaze, and she played sports, and guitar? you were like putty in her hands and she didn't even know it.

dina and jessie didn't arrive until the next morning, but your night with ellie was spent talking and playing video games. like a first date kind of, at least that's what you would call it in your mind. in the early morning when dina and jessie came back, she found you both on the couch, with your limbs tangled within each other. being the sneaky devil dina is, she took your phone, snapped a picture, and posted it to your instagram.

Spark The Electric Jester 3:

Man I was holding off on spoilers for MONTHS until the holidays when I could get this game, and I only beat it in the beginning of the year and well…HOLY SHIT I didn’t know I needed existentialism in my funny little platformer- Gameplay is INSANELY solid, like honestly some of my favorite platforming controls I have ever used! Music is top notch as well!

Nier Automata: The End of YoRHa Edition:

Holy fuck how did I manage to avoid spoilers for this game for YEARS??? That ending was beautiful~ (Yes I did do all the main endings)

Chrono Trigger: I should preface this by saying I did modify this game a tiiiiny bit to have PS4 button prompts and fixing the Classic filter. Other than that, I can see why it’s a lot of people’s favorite RPG! Short enough in case you wanna replay it, and the foundation of the NG+ system definitely helps incentivize replays! Can’t wait to play Chrono Cross!

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII:

I binged both FFXIII and FFXIII-2 during October and November of last year, but took a short break to avoid burnout. And well, yeah this game was neat! I will admit though that since there’s no way to REWIND time like in Majora’s Mask that I got INSANELY stressed out but that didn’t take away from the sweet release of seeing these characters I love finally get their well-deserved happy ending :)

Mega Man Zero:

I put this one off and on throughout like 2 years because I just wasn’t good at it, but it taught me a VERY good lesson in perseverance! Really excited to play Zero 2!

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion: ZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK ;w; Story was pretty…alright for the most part, but I couldn’t feel attached to any of the original characters :/ Honestly my eyes were on Zack just…being real with what’s going on. I may not feel bad for when people he cares about dies, but I can EASILY emphasize with him because I know that HE knows them. Knows them more than we ever will know. Also the gameplay and music are fucking stellar.

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes:

I should preface all of this by saying I don’t remember what order I beat all of these in lmao. Anyways my route was Golden Wildfire and the story for it is such an improvement over its equivalent in Three Houses!!! I love Shez so much as a protagonist even if his outfit is a tiny bit dumb.

Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker

Man I really wanted to like this. And like, music and area wise I loved it! But the story feels…It just doesn’t feel like the finality for all we’ve done so far. I could not care at all for Meteion because they spend approximately like 20 or 30 minutes making us meet them and then throwing us IMMEDIATELY into the angst like, no. This isn’t even a case of “Well I don’t care but I can understand why others do” NO THE GAME MAKES YOUR WOL FEEL BAD AS WELL, MEANING YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO CARE! NO! I DON’T! I was able to at least pretend a little bit to roleplay as needed but man. At least Footfalls and the post-endwalker dungeon themes kick ass though. (Warrior of Light’s name for me is M’bahlon Tia)

Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe

SO CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTE I love kirby games sm and this is no exception. REALLY loved how hard the Magolor Epilogue got at certain points though that was great.

Fire Emblem Awakening

I CAN SEE WHY THIS SAVED THE FRANCHISE WHEN IT CAME OUT!! It’s a REALLY good game! I went with the default male Robin settings since that’s what’s in Smash Bros. And man just, everything about this game is AMAZING!!! Sadly cannot see myself replaying it anytime. I could just load my endgame save and grind out support conversations with other characters or do that…new game plus thing I think it was?

Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space: Bound Wills and the Hollow Puppeteer

I did this event initially back when it came out (and in fact is the main reason why I played the game in the first place) But I got horrible units and died super often, and revived every chance I got. But losing my save data and getting a better unit HEAVILY boosted my chances of getting through the event and man, it was a lot of fun! I love seeing tiny mona :3 JUST LOOK AT HOW SMOL HE IS AAAAAAAAA

Mighty Gunvolt Burst:

I had a lot of fun with this one! I used one of the DLC characters (I think they’re the Zero character from Mighty Number 9 but) it’s a great romp!

Final Fantasy XV

“Walk tall…my friends.” I got this game YEARS ago but haven’t truly delved into it recently. And well… That ending got to me. It really did. The gameplay took me so long to get used to (especially since I had been more used to the more refined gameplay of Final Fantasy 7 Remake 3 years prior) Music is amazing, love the characters! I just wish the other episodes were finished and weren’t just put in a novel :/

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

HOLY FUCK THIS GAME WAS SO COOL. I always heard like, right, about how good this game was but I figured it was just nostalgia talking for people. NOPE. As someone who’s first paper mario game was super (never beat it, I was a really stupid child) and then played Sticker Star (Again, very stupid child but also that game is bullshit because everything is so obtuse and it sucks) But this? This was a big breath of fresh air. I am so excited to go back and play 64 and Super!!!

The Super Mario Bros. Movie

Honestly? Way better than I was expecting. You can FEEL nintendo had a strangle-hold on the movie’s production though from how Chris Pratt in the final movie actually fucking voice acts somewhat (it’s a start), there’s no bad Illumination tropes, Peach is a dragoon, Toad and Bowser easily steal the show, and just, ALL THE REFERENCES WOW. EVEN THE NEWER THINGS. I didn’t see any Paper Mario or Mario & Luigi references though which makes me sad. I hope that if there’s a sequel it’s actually better and doesn’t fall into any traps movie sequels usually do, maybe even say if the other kingdoms from Mario Odyssey are in this universe (and maybe Isle Defino) The movie definitely could have used an extra 20 minutes spread throughout to add more to the main group dynamic.

Mega Man Zero 2

OH MY GOD THIS WAS SO MUCH BETTER BALANCE-WISE HOLY SHIT Cyber-elves requirements to be leveled up were MASSIVELY lowered and the enemy AI isn’t as overly aggressive! Loved the music too, especially Departure and the ending theme which was adapted for the song Clover! Can’t wait to do Zero 3!

WARE WA MESSIAH NARI! HAHAHA!

Mega Man Zero 3 was really good, but either I am getting way too good at these games or they are getting easier haha. Loved the music and gameplay though, and how Cyber Elves were handled here is absolutely the best they have ever been! If there’s any game in this series I am gonna replay, it’s Zero 3 without a doubt! On to Mega Man Zero 4, the last of the GBA era.

Mega Man Zero 4

I finally did it. I beat the entire Mega Man Zero series. While I do not agree with how the parts and cyber elf system were handled, It was not a bad experience by any means! It felt nice following Zero’s character arc throughout these games. I’m maybe gonna take a break before I tackle Mega Man ZX, but hey, I feel like that game’s gonna be fun! It’s the only one I actually OWN on its original hardware after all! :D

Sonic and the Black Knight

This was a fun distraction for a few hours! I had a lot of fun with this! Granted the second King Arthur fight took me an hour but besides that it was a quick and good romp! Probably has one of the best final boss themes in a sonic game I’ve ever heard! :D

The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past

Pretty fun game all things considered, but I didn’t like how punishing some of the design philosophies were in the end parts of the game. Music’s great though! Maybe I’ll revisit it one day, but not anytime soon. Still, can’t say I disliked my experience.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Where…do I even begin with this?…It was…genuinely amazing. I was waiting for a sequel to Breath of the Wild for years, and during my high school years I was wondering how they would even follow it up! Doing a sequel to an open-world game is harder than a lot of other genres.      But yet….they did it. They somehow did it. Those 6 years of development time more than paid off. It felt…amazing to run around a changed Hyrule from the last game. The mechanics were amazing, and the character development was really cool! The new rune abilities are dope!!!    BUT THE MUSIC MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM THE MUSIC OH THE MUSIC IS SO GOOD THE ENDING MUSIC MADE ME ACTUALLY CRY AHHHHHHHH PLAY THIS GAME PLAY IT NOW

Kirby and the Forgotten Land

And here we are! Finally got around to this! It was a really dope game! Loved the combat and music! I even did most of the bonus content and the Ultimate Cup Z, but I kept dying at the final phase of the final boss of that so I just gave up lol, it’s purely bonus content anyways lol. But honestly I loved this game! Can’t wait for the next mainline kirby game!

The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD

FINALLY GOT AROUND TO PLAYING THIS ONE! I owned this on real hardware since its release date but never got far. I finally got around to it with the motivation of beating Tears of the Kingdom, and I gotta say, it’s pretty good! Not exactly like, absolutely top tier game that everyone MUST play but, it’s decent! Bosses are a big sour point though. Music was pretty decent, though the final dungeon theme is a bore. Only other current Zelda games I gotta beat are the 2D/Top-Down ones, so maybe I’ll do one of those next! Possibly either Phantom Hourglass or Spirit Tracks.

Pokémon Scarlet

HOLY SHIT THAT ENDING SEQUENCE WAS ACTUALLY COOL AS HELL!!! Like yeah, the game has its decent chunk of technical issues but, holy shit….those last two hours of the main story are phenomenal. TOBY FOX CONTINUES TO BE THE GOAT THE MUSIC HE COMPOSED IS AMAZING! I love how easier it is to capture pokemon compared to Sword and Shield as well. I do like Dynamax raids more as a multiplayer component, but I much prefer the Tera mechanic in terms of PVP. I stlll need to do the post game before the dlc comes out later this year, but all I really got is just the refights against the gym leaders and all that jazz. There’s also the Needle thingies I gotta pull out and the wall things I gotta investigate in order to get the other legendaries, but all I really care about is finishing the core of the main story, I got other games to get to lol. Probably thinking of either Paper Mario or Chrono Cross next haha.

Kamen Rider Heisei Generations Final: Build & Ex-Aid with Legend Riders

Okay so context: my friend @arcadiusdragoneyes​ is showing me and @darkspine576​ Kamen Rider Build since it’s one of his favorites and he wanted to indoctrinate introduce us into Kamen Rider AND IT’S FUCKING WORKING. I used WAY more references but these were the most... important ig, also, yes I am Mexican but I am not that connected to my history, I really mostly created Eztli to nudge myself to learn more about my culture. And honestly, most of Natlan gave me a weird vibe, its... too modern...? not that I expected them to be in tribal clothing ofc, it's just weird to see the women with crop tops and FUCKING ORORON WITH JEANS

It's just personal preference tho, I did make Eztli sort of more leaning on post conquista with the pants and metal armor... but also mixed more ancient armor, I hope I did a sort of good job and I'm open to advice!

Also... I'm kinda conflicted with the game, I love it, it's fun for me, but with all that's happening it's just... I don't even know how to write it! I want to separate it from everything that's happening, but it's just so jarring, and I enjoy the characters but their designs make me feel weird, maybe its the fact that I have a positive view of the game since I started playing for someone I love and only continued because I got so attached to it, and I cannot pick up another game and I don't know why

I don't think I like Natlan as much as I hoped, but whatever that's enough whining from me, I think I'll continue until I get the characters I want and ditch the game

Maybe I'll continue making art of Neuvillette and Eztli, and maybe other characters they're genuinely so enjoyable for me

Two inconvenient facts:

Mirage’s game length is 20-25 hours only for completionists, so that “massive” game they delayed twice that showed mostly Valhalla mechanics repackaged is closer in narrative length to the shortest Valhalla DLC, Siege of Paris, than it’s longest, Dawn of Ragnarok. It’s basically like two Valhalla arcs at most? 💀

The Last Chapter WILL NEVER make sense in the context of Valhalla. Stop trying to make “fetch” happen in your little AC communities. It doesn’t make sense with the DLCs or without them. People have explained this in way too much detail already for you to deny that.

Opinion: TLC is objectively shit. It was a throwaway five minutes of Mirage marketing. Accept it for what it is and stop being Darby sycophant dorks. And Mirage is going to disappoint you when Basim the assassin you think is Ezio recincarnated becomes the big bad, which you already know from ACV. Had they made it about Hytham, I’d have bought it. You know, the guy who cared deeply about the Creed and was good, and that way the fanboys wouldn’t still get the Loki Isu part fucking up their assassin simulator game.

Also, see below. It is ASTOUNDING to me that they treated Valhalla they way they did and expect Mirage to do as well or better. It’s not even the same game. You alienated those buyers completely. And your sales are already shit outside of Valhalla. Are they insane?

She was under the impression that AEW went on vacation the days around Christmas but to her surprise she received an email with an invitation to do a Meet and Greet/Basketball game, she only signed up on the M&G, she felt obligated to since she was a lower card talent compared to the other people who were attached to the email and as much as she hated working on holidays she saw it as an opportunity to connect with fans but also leave a good impression on the higher ups.

The day finally arrived, she had to take a flight from Vancouver to Chicago for the Meet & Greet, when she finally walked in that high school gym she greeted her coworkers and sat beside Hikaru and Kris since they were her closest friends, she had a lot of fun with them.

But then the second part of the event took place, two teams of 5, Bryan and Ricky were team captains, they were selecting their teams but she wasn’t on the court since she didn’t plan on playing, Ricky had asked her before but since she said no he let her be, but then since Bryan’s team needed another player he started calling her name, her mouth a gape she couldn’t believe he was calling her to play after she specifically said she didn’t want to play.

“You’re in my team, come on”

Bryan said while she furiously walked towards him.

“You can’t be serious, I didn’t sign up for this”

She complained to him.

“I don’t like playing basketball”

“I don’t do either but today is part of the job”

He said back, his hands on his waist like the annoyed father he is for the AEW roster.

She didn’t look at him like a father figure but that’s not the point.

“I didn’t bring running shoes"

She tried to come up with an excuse.

“They got shoes over there”

He signaled a table behind them, she didn’t except them to be prepared with backups, she cursed under her breath.

“But…”

“Go put on your shoes”

Bryan said with a smile but she wasn’t smiling, clearly he was enjoying making someone more miserable than he was over this dumb game and of course Bryan is known to push people’s buttons until they snap for better or for worse it was the day she would snap.

She came back with shoes a bit too big for her, the game began and she was mopping around while the rest of the people were running and taking the ball.

Rickys team had Big Bill maybe that’s why they were kicking ass so much, they were up for 20 points and no matter how much Bryan was cheering everyone up it didn’t matter, she was just running around not even trying to get the ball, after all she didn’t ask to be involved, the rest of the team didn’t seem to be in a good mood either but they still tried to keep up with the other team.

There was a 15 minute break between the second and third quarters.

Bryan took them to the locker-room, he was trying to bring the team together, but she was just by herself in the corner being disinterested in all and when Bryan tried to get her attention she interrupted him.

“We will lose anyways”

“Thanks for cheering up the team! Everyone hit the field”

It’s not a field”

Yuta protested.

“Whatever, just go”

Everyone else exits the room but then he puts his arm out so she doesn’t scape, she looked at him as if Bryan was crazy, he might be higher on the hierarchy  but he was getting on her nerves.

“Fuck off, Bryan”

He let out a hiss and then preceded to say.

“Hey, I know it's winter, but you don't have to act so cold!”

He knew she was about to snap at him so he just improvised in the heat of the moment.

She had her eyebrows frowned, mouth open about to talk but Bryan was faster, putting a hand over her cheek he closed the distance giving her a peck on the lips, when he pulled apart even he was surprised at what he had done.

“What?”

She asked while her brain short circuited.

“Element of surprise, now that you’re flustered you won’t be an asshole to everyone”

The ice had melted.

While the rest of the game played out she was replaying the kiss in her head, it didn’t matter if they lost 50 to 22 all she thought about was the way his lips felt on hers.

Bryan wasn’t even mad that they lost, when he passed near her after the event she felt uneasy, her palms getting sweaty her stomach doing flips, that was definitely not normal. He had half a smile, he definitely knew what he was doing, he had tamed the lion and now he was ready to secure his victory.

“See you on Wednesday”

From my kudos emails, though, Hallowboned has to be my top fic for sure. Last time I was paying attention most of my other fics didn't pass into triple digits by a long shot

Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I do!!! I adore comments, and I love chatting with folks, it really keeps me motivated and chugging along. I am... very behind on replying to the comments on my last chapter rn because I feel so awful and guilty about having to quit writing

Uh... I don't write a ton of narrative fics, and I do love me some tragic poetry, but I guess the angstiest collection might be my Signalis one, Observable System Transcendence? But my Omori poem and the Trined Soul collection might be contenders, too

I mean, Trembling Hands is a Trimax fix-it fic, so? Though the Sasaki and Miyano collection, Effortless Dreams, is definitely the most tooth-rotting fluff I've ever slapped onto the page

I think my first piece of written fanwork was a Danny Phantom Quizilla thing lmao, I'm old. I don't remember what it was about, just that it was ANGSTY

Favourite fic you've ever written?

Ah?!?! Honestly, each project is so different and written from such a different place, I've got no idea. I'm proudest of Observable System Transcendence being my longest, most consistent project (outside of my Smaugust collection, which isn't a fan project), Hallowboned being the first thing that really inspired me in ages--and the most indulgent one lol. But each collection and fic and poem comes from such a different place, and it's hard to pull them apart and pick???
