nothing worse than when a character finally goes thru the character development they deserve, faces their trauma and regrets and everything that broke them down and finally rebuild themselves and arrives on the other side as a new person. and that person is annoying and unlikable.

#specifically the dj in fallout 4. cullen from dragon age. arguably dean winchester when he started getting meaner circa s9 #KYLE XY WAS THE FIRST EXAMPLE OF THIS FOR ME #pearl su had a bit of this in the roller rink episode ngl but the show ended just in time #my own dnd character is a little bit of this lmao whoops #this isnt brought on by anything in paticular just another post reminded me how much i hate seeing my faves become cocky and over-confident #its rare but ougughh its so bad like oh no i preferred when you were fucked up actually please go back to that
