How do Infinite and Metal feel about Mephilies wanting to get Silver in the band?

Do they know? Like is Mephilies being obvious, or is it just private DMS he sends to Silver?

Mephiles definitely kept them out of the loop, he sees himself as the band's 'leader' of sorts so uh! doesn't value their opinions and ideas on band matters as much as his own womp womp.

Metal and Infinite do know that he's scheming something though.

since they're one of the few that actually know what he's like outside of the public eye, they quickly pick up on it, like sigh. he's back on his villain shit again.

i do think it'd be VERY fun if Metal and Infinite do find out that the guy Mephiles is trying to recruit is Silver of all fucking people and a huge argument breaks out between them. Maybe Metal n Infinite threatening to disband if he keeps up with this shit and they distance themselves from him for a while.

Mephiles definitely doesnt discover the power of friendship but he does realise that there won't be anymore Metallic Madness if he doesn't get his shit together and fix his own mess so!! yeah!! they obviously dont disband but there's a bit of distrust between them now that Mephiles cant STAND.

I was talking a bit about this but I think part of the reason iterators are designed as these small little doll-like puppets is both to humanize and dehumanize them by the Ancients. The puppet, at is core, is a means for communication with a great biological machine- to give it a face and features and ground it as you ask its advice or it's progress. This massive, world-altering creation simplified down to this little thing that had all the features of a person. But its also small, cute, Ancient-like but clearly not an Ancient itself. They're colorful and simple, like a toy for children. And I think thats largely how Ancients saw them- often not as a person with desires and opinions but as an extension of the Ancient's work, a personalized character that represented their cities and people, whos citizens could like them and were comprehensible to their children, but was not them- and would not reap the reward of being them when a solution was found. Each one pretty and unique to make them individuals, but not seen- truly- as individuals by many- just as parts of their cities, something under the Ancients. Like if every town had its own personal My Little Pony they could ask advice on where the next community center should be built.

Well, if the theory that the colour yellow is associated with brain stuff is true, I'd like to point out the following:

1. The ultra beam Eyepatch Morty shot through the Citadel to bring down the Curve was yellow:

It became stronger after Eyepatch Morty infused it with blender-ed Ricks and Mortys:

Why did that work??

How could that have possibly pierced through some sort of dimensional wall? Is it really just a matter of something as "benign" as calibration or killing them to be thorough?

2. And who else, apart from Eyepatch Morty, had been collecting the bloodied remains of Mortys in vats?

Why, the Citadel Ricks.

That's... odd.

Did they collect physically "defective" or misbehaving clones before disposing them all off in one go?

Was it a slaughterhouse, with excess rickless Mortys being sent to death?

Was it a sort of punishment to terrorize Mortys into obedience?

Was it a sort of execution for criminal Mortys?

Was the number of Mortys dying in the Citadel from horrible living conditions simply that high, that they needed to be collected and disposed off in a special way?

Could be any of the above really... But even at the first time I watched this episode I thought that was odd.

3. Rick says this concerning their brainwaves:

He agrees with Morty that "Morty is more than a human shield", but the only actual "more" thing in Rick's subsequent description of Morty is the phrase "perfect impenetrable".

Is he just rubbing in Morty's face how effective he is as camouflage?

...Or is he talking about something else?
