Okay I'm back with ideas for Cumulonimbus >:)

For the general stuff -> I've been toying with the idea of an aroace agender OC so that's gonna be them, they/it triple A, they looked at everything and went 'hmm... nope'. The Ice/Mudwing was a cool idea so I'm keeping that but I added some Skywing somewhere in its ancestry for the fun of it lol. No idea how they joined the crew though, I imagine something like they realised they would be happier at sea and the Gilded Skyline was there at the right moment?

For the appearance -> I like the idea of it being big so that stays too, I think it could be cool if it was a light purple with two sets of wavy horns, that makes me think of wind-y stuff. The eyepatch was dope and they have one because of an as-of-yet-undetermined accident where they fucked up their right eye and a few fingers of their right - paw? I also want to give it tattoos for obvious reasons of tattoos are cool as fuck, but what the tattoos are is still in the works.

In terms of personality and hobbies/skills -> you'll pardon me the bad pun but they have their head in the clouds (lol), they're a bit aloof and absentminded. I see it as being calm and generally pretty chill (hehe) as well as more of an artsy type. They're into woodworking (which might or might not be related to The Accident?) and can do a bit of sewing too, but they cannot sing, they're terribly tone deaf, do not make them sing. It likes flying, the feeling of freedom it gives it, it's fun and cool, and whule it can swim it Does Not like it at all ('why would you swim?? you have wings, you can fly! - no obviously I didn't mean you Captain') They loves funky weather too, especially the rain, if it's raining and they don't have anything to do chances are they're on the deck enjoying the rain (yes it's also water on you so it makes no sense that it doesn't like swimming but rain is it's favourite thing, but it'll argue that 'you don't get it it's totally different') If they got their way they'd also go out during more dangerous storms but I don't think the rest of the crew wants them to die so they just look from inside the ship (can you tell I do not know anything about ship anatomy?) It values freedom and believes in doing what YOUR heart dictates, and in general it knows itself pretty well and what it wants out of life, but if you ask it what it wants for dinner or what its next woodworking project will you're never getting an answer, it mostly wings the small things. In terms of socialisation, they're not the type to have long discussions or to spend whole afternoons just chatting, but they'll gladly just vibe with you mostly in silence except for little comments from time to time.

*vibrates at the speed of sound* AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I LOVE IT OH MY HECK AJKFSDLAJSDKGFHAKLSDF no worries about not knowing how they got on the ship, that's the deal with a lot of these guys tbh?? the ship was just kinda there, they got curious, rapscallion offered them a spot on the crew, they said yes, and here they are!! so the whole "the ship was just kinda there" thing totally works u good if we wanna come up with somethin different tho we totally can :D

not much to say about personality stuff other than: that's their vibe!!! that is their whole vibe i love them i love it love love love

for who they'd hang out with: the Captain (at least somewhat often, cause it's in charge of steering the ship), Seaglass (cause she's the one who knows where the crew is headed), potentially Sundial (they can vibe in silence together for hours), and Atlas (cause they do ship repairs together)

depending on how recent the accident was, Atlas could be helping them get comfortable repairing and making stuff with their right hand

Seaglass will ramble about maps to it for hours and hours and they've even talked about heritage a few times and maybe even found out they're related?? distantly? through some ice/sky couple from back when? so they're some degree of cousins maybe??

Crow and Seaglass ask it to sing with them, and while it always declines the offer is there :D
