maybe it's adhd or whatever but I hateeee when people make plans and they're always around midday. It's 7am everyone's up we don't need to wait till noon to leave let's go

#i hate it the morning is wasted the whole day is spent doing whatever and then you come home at 4/5 and ifs dinner time #literally pisses me off so much we dont need to wait till 1130 we can go earlier actually and waste less time #ESPECIALLY WHEN ITS HOT IN THE SUMMER #i would much rather do stuff in the morning and get back at 2pm so we still have the afternoon

hospital just phoned me and the surgery i thought id be having MONTHS from now has been scheduled to next week im fucking bricking ittttt

#i wasnt worrying about it yet because i thought it would be ages away!!! i mean its good its getting done but im fucking stressed #i havent been able to give enough notice at work so theyre gonna have issues and im stressing about that too #also dont know if i can get paid for medical leave and apparently i need 4-6weeks off anf there may be complications that mean the recovery #is longer #my mum cannot make it to be there when i am having the surgery :(((#this is the first surgery ive had as an adult and dont have my mum to handle it all for me argghhh #i will be bringing a-yao with me i need him there ToT #on the plus side i brought dan and phil tickets this morning hehe #can you tell i am rambling i am fucking stressed hahahaha #i literally dont know what i am doing!!!!!! helppppp #gonna cry gonna think about a-yao to distract myself hhhhhhhhh

my mum could really use £30-40 for groceries. We've spent a lot of money fixing stuff this month like replacement pipes and central heating (that really should be our landlord's responsibility..). She only has £150 left but we've still got bills to pay later this month so not much to spend on food and other necessities. Universal credit + her wage doesn't get paid until the end of the month (something is coming next week too but idr) 🥲

Usually we ask family and close friends for borrowing money but no one has been able to lend any aaa

No pressure to donate whatsoever — but if you have some extra money, any support would be greatly appreciated mwah <3

#minimum wage paired with her being a single parent and all that isn't really the best combination but eh #If it weren't for everything breaking at once I wouldn't have to ask #Anyway I need to shit on my landlord for a sec because I'm so pissed off #He doesn't fix anything (or at least takes a long time — he's been “fixing” our fence for thr past 4 years because its soo expensive and #otherwise he can't go on his quarterly holiday 🥺)#And he still has the audacity to raise rent every year when we've been renting for 10+ years now and never missed a payment #How do you go from £900 to £1500 a month for 2 bedrooms #We even pay a day in advance just in case something doesn't work or we can't pay later #But the one time she payed at 10 in the morning on the day he automatically started asking if its been transferred bc he can't see it #Even though its any time during the 24h and then the grace period #Its in the contract that YOU WROTE erm #Maybe stuff wouldn't be breaking all the time if you actually invested in high quality pieces #When we signed the first contract he literally bought the house 2 days prior and didn't renovate anything lmao #lasar being incoherent

i appreciate a quick response but it also scares the shit out of me how fast my PI responds. like FUCK!!! i wasnt prepared to deal further with this for at least a couple hours

#like when i first emailed him last summer to ask about joining his lab i expected a response within like maybe 3 days bc thats what im used #to with most academics and professionals but he literally responded in three MINUTES and i felt like shitting myself #like. when does this man sleep. bc im emailing him my draft at 10pm and get a response right away when i know hes also in the lab at the #first moment he can. i have no way of saying if he gets there earlier than 8 bc you know my ass is getting there at 9 but im pretty sure its #8 at the latest. AND he works out in the mornings. GIRL????#hes like yeah during my phd i went to the gym at 5 was in the lab for 8 hours went home cooked dinner etc and would go to bed at midnight #so. he functioned on about 5 hours of sleep for at least 4 years and im pretty sure he still does. what fucking witchcraft is his body #chemistry doing in there.
