every time i see challengers i’m more obsessed w zendaya’s acting. tashi is such a fantastic character and the pain and frustration and shame and anger she feels is so palpable and so tragic compared to how sharp and happy she is as a teenager. also we only see her act that way in the present timeline when she’s with her daughter. because she’s the only thing in tashi’s life that isn’t connected to tennis.
