(anakin has personally arrested obi-wan for speeding three times, drinking in public spaces 4 times -- the public space was a bar btw -- and indecent public exposure once. that last one was, tbh, fair cause obi-wan had his dick out in an alley way lol)

(obi-wan has literally stalked this asshole coruscanti cop off planet before and arrested him in his capacity as Jedi Knight for not using his turn signal when changing hyperspace lanes (once), for podracing betting (3 times), and for possession of a galacticly banned substance (twice))

it's not that they're obsessed with each other, it's just that something keeps forcing them together in the wildest, most unpredictable situations, and it's annoying as hell because they're completely fed up with each other

then the senate moves to have a new task force stood up to solve a series of Force-related crimes in the Coruscanti underworld. the task force would include a representative from the Jedi Temple and one from the Coruscanti guards, obviously. and really, obi-wan and anakin are the perfect choices! they're both highly intelligent, dedicated, trustworthy, and incorruptible.

if only they'd stop trying to push each other off the 51st story of coruscant and actually put their heads together to solve the crime

thinking bout hal and jake and how their interactions went in homestuck again. god, imagine having a best friend (who you also have a wild crush on) that youve known for years, talked to him about everything, from dumb shit to the deepest desires and insecurities youve ever had. then you decide to create an ai out of your own brain and suddenly its you whose got the short end of the stick and youre stuck, without a body, in a pair of glasses. and youd think, this fucking sucks, but at least i have my friends, right? but your friends dont think about you as "you" anymore. now you're just a program, ai created by the real deal to talk to them when he doesnt have time to do it.

and your best friend? he cant fucking stand you. he sees you only as an obstacle in his way to talk to the real you, but youre YOU too, right? all the parts are the same, the memories are the same, your feelings are the same, but youre not REAL YOU anymore. now youre just an annoyance they have to get through if they want to talk to the guy you were before and you still are.

And it's not even that no abled person is available to be a caregiver, it's that none of them care enough to do it or believe enough they need help or are willing to help in ways that are actually asked for. so, uh, @origamihoshi introduced me to an interactive fiction game that is very much up my alley so, here is my trash gremlin that is just trying to survive after what happened with it's friends it's a bit of a menace (oh? you think I'm creepy? alright, I'll play it up then!) who alternates between provoking people and just doing whatever it wants without a word. it may not be the brightest, but it makes up for that with how quick it is to take action. ...or, at least it thinks it does.
