Let's talk about Forgotten Elegy!

Hey since the mods all blocked me preventing any sort of communication I'd like to expose what has been going on in there! Apparently because it makes people uncomfortable to say what's going on.

So the current plot in TimberClan involves an outsider group in which previous members caused problems for the group. Now no player was warned about what this group was going to face going in. Instead we were faced with erin hunter level anti-outsider xenophobic rhetoric.

Now as some of you may know... I am not white! In fact I am of arabic descent, which, as some of you know are not exactly a favorite when it comes to immigrants!

Some topics mentioned include:

A cat taking on the name of the colony's god to piss them off this was treated as funny!

Likening their burial practices to like prey or trash.

Treating the entire group as murderers when only one cat maybe did something.

Pining the blame on the group for a disappearance they had no paw in.

Calling the colony brutes and relating their distrust to their culture of fighting assuming they love fighting and shit because of it.

Keeping the colony prisoner for an extended period of time

Implying the colony should be grateful for receiving "food" and "shelter" while being kept prisoner and if they weren't they'd be ungrateful.

Having a literal concept of "the good ones" with the colony having the main captor the leader Scoutstar have a colony cat, Velvet, as her watcher to make sure the colony weren't stepping out of line. Allegories being made towards a dog on a leash.

Making cats who believe the treatment is wrong feel stupid and afraid of siding with them!

Oh this entire plot is suppose to end with the colony joining Timberclan despite the foul treatment!

Constant jokes about how the worst offenders did nothing wrong especially Scoutstar who is, as pointed out by her player, taking her paranoia out on the group but its "for the good of her clan" so i guess that makes it ok right?

Now call me not white but all of this sounds pretty bad!

Mmy way of engaging such things, as someone who has experienced similar things, would be to call it what it is that should be alright shouldn't it? After all as they told me this is an Adult Rp where we can talk about Adult Themes after all!

Apparently calling these cat's behaviors and the plot for what it is has made people "uncomfortable" and that members did not enjoy how I was commenting on their characters because of how people turned it to real resentment in the past.

I will have you know FE that trying to block me from speaking and being a hawk over whatever I say has made me more resentful that a character's actions!

I am an adult and I find it quite insulting you apparently think I cannot separate those things and have childishly blocked me rather than talk like adults as I didn't even want to repeal the decision. However because members were uncomfortable that was apparently enough, yet the real world rhetoric that was being used, despite asking for it to be tagged never was! In fact I had to get blasted with comments and sentiments like those above without any sort of content warning. Basically getting my cat experiencing bigotry like mine without so much as a warning despite "the obvious" needing to be tagged.

Instead of anyone, staff or complaining members alike, putting on their big boy pants and dealing with the implications of the plot they were in they rather cry and whine about the consequences of their actions and the fact it didn't make their little kitty look all that good. Such is natural for whites and the people who ride their dicks.

Now I can personally say there are plenty of members who agree with me that this so if you think blocking and kicking me is getting you out of this you are sorely mistaken! In fact they are quite pissed off with how staff handled things in kicking me for what they also agree were appreciating the writing from a standpoint of someone who is a real life victim of what this plot showcases. Isn't that funny! I know that my friend who I mentioned to you is still there!

In fact a lot of the comments the cats in this rp have used have been almost word for word shit I've heard and shit my family and people like me have heard! Yet I'm the bad guy for making a comment about it.

All of this is to say I am in fact hurt and know that you all don't like me because I didn't roll over and take being put through a xenophobic plot without comment and called cats xenophobic for actions I saw!

So I am returning the energy you have given me! I think you are all unprofessional and have been for most of the controversies your group has been involved in. You run away from what the issue is and refuse communication then turn around in blaming the lack of communication for the reason why these things happen.

I'm sorry me engaging with a plot you crafted as a person effected by the very concepts you are putting into it offended you same with all the other little members who whined about it!

Actually that was sarcasm I am not fucking sorry. You all need to grow the fuck up and perhaps can this plot because you clearly cannot handle something as delicate as this without being xenophobic and racist. (long post about purgatory and meta and rp)

sigh one thing ive been thinking is that it feels a bit unfair to see so many people complaining or doomposting over how purgatory affects the overarching qsmp rp story or how it ~interrupted arcs~ or is ~disturbing current storylines~ or ~narratively unsatisfying~ like. Sure. its a bit abrupt and most players were caught off guard because lore-wise it stems from the federation which means none of them were told about anything beforehand

but... its only been three days. maybe we could have a little faith? like idk ill be soooooo out there rn and say that maybe the admins did this now for a reason. maybe itll make sense later on. we already see lore repercussions with elquackity and his motives and all the nods to the eggs.

theres fair criticism to be made (when done respectfully) if youre mainly here for the roleplay but i feel like we sometimes need to remind ourselves that the qsmp storytelling is a VERY ambitious project. lmao. imagine being the writing team and trying to wrangle 20+ characters with distinct points of view and journeys on an ever-changing story because of the very nature of live rp. its practically IMPOSSIBLE to tie up every loose end neatly and at this point i dont think we should expect that. keeping up momentum with all plotlines must also be pretty hard, cc's schedules and outside factors like server programming and building and mod tweaking and all those meta elements considered and so on and so on

i DO also want the story to move forward and be cohesive and make sense in a satisfactory way. like i really do!!!!!!! but i try to understand that thats not ALL the qsmp is about. from the start quackity said the server wouldn't be exclusive to the rp aspect. it sure is that way right now, but thats because most of the active members are VERY passionate about roleplaying. thats a good thing! they have fun and its fun to watch and the experience is mostly good for everyone because it corresponds to their expectations to an extent

the thing about purgatory is that i feel like its a lot more meta than most people doomposting realize. it ties into the story, sure, but to me it feels like the sudden switch in environment and vibes and stakes isnt actually catered to the rp and thats FINE. like thats not what it exists for and thats fineeeeeee

pac for one has said he appreciates the event for the change of pace, though its very hard (lol), because regular qsmp was starting to feel a bit stale to him and he was kind of running out of things to do. THATS A GREAT THING! managing player engagement like that is awesome and sometimes necessary. YES, purgatory caters to a very different playstyle than what we're used to -- and thats one of its strenghts.

a lot of hispanic creators have also felt this!!!! roier, rivers and carre most prominently have been VERY excited about this event because its similar in format to a lot of spanish speaking events like mc extremo and such. a lot of these players are also not particularly interested in rp-ing and had not been logging on very often prior to purgatory.

even roleplay regulars like tubbo, fit and bbh have shown interest in purgatory for the competitive nature of the setting!!! thats cool too!!!! something different, new possibilities to play around with. thats what the events should be about. kudos to the admins and dev teams for attempting it in such a big scale. their effort shows and all the mechanics weve seen are really fucking cool

i love the roleplay!!!!!! its one of my favorite parts of the qsmp!!!!!! but its not ALL there is and it shouldnt be! non rp-oriented creators are also part of the project and deserve to have a little fun too -- not to mention a big chunk of the hispanic fan community that has blown up twitter with support bc what we have rn is similar to events they already love!!!!!!! im glad to see so many of them get excited again!!!!!!

at the end of the day, qsmp is a LONG long term project, and purgatory ends in two weeks. by the time its over, we can all choose to engage with it as we wish. it can be a big filler episode in your mind, if you want. it can be just for fun..... otherwise, if its not fun, your regularly scheduled qsmp will be back soon anyway :3 its fine to not like it, its fine to have something negative to say about it if properly tagged and not like. crazy entitled or blown out of proportion for what this situation is.

i just hope we can all manage our online experiences accordingly and avoid making things less enjoyable for each other. this is supposed to be fun

Anon i feel the exact same way as you. I dont have a solution but i find it works best for me when i think of taekook as a fictional couple that i enjoy and love and that no one will ever be able to take away from me (i read and write fanfiction for one) and then the members as they are i take them as they are and what is presented to me. This excludes their private lives pretty heavily. In real life, though i want nothing more than for them to be ”real”, what i love about them is their bond. I dont go crazy with all the ”theories” that to me all seem like shippers choosing what they believe based on what aligns with their ship. And thats fine! But i cant delude myself like that. So what works best for me is: we will never know with absolute certainty what goes on behind the scenes. And thats how it should be. These are not our lives, its people who are actually strangers to us private lives. When taennie and paris happened, i obsessed over it, followed it compulsively. And eventually i was like. What the fuck am i doing? None of this, NONE OF THIS, has ANY impact on my life. I have nothing to do with it, and no agency in it because its got nothing to do with me. I cant control anything about it. Yes, I want taekook to be real, but at the end of the day, what does that matter to me? If i just want the relationship i can just daydream about it, them being real or not isnt actually going to make me any more part of it anyway (lol). Now i know that not just quitting them and instead staying with them could still be perpetating my problem but i hope i can continue to respect their private lifes. And i realize sending this to a theorizing shipping blog is kind of ironic, i do think theorizing is sort of inherently invasive (and rps in general so like myself included) but utlimately harmless as long as you stay respectful, they are public figures after all (please okay i mean no disrespect to you peachjagiya) So yeah, when that video with jk and the girl came out i was basically over it. My stance is that has nothing to do with me (and if its real i should not be able to see it and thats stalking and a gross invasion of privacy (same with the leaked taennie pics (although they are edited as hell))) so i do not have an opinion. I still love taekook. Are they real? A part of me is always going to believe that. But no, not that we know, and we can never know. No offence taken. I actually think a lot of what we talk about here isn't necessarily romantic. It's often in defence of their closeness in general because a lot of people seem to believe it simply doesn't exist. And in the course of denying their closeness, or minimising their importance to one another, there's a lot of anti-Tae sentiment, a lot of painting JK as something he's not, a lot of bending of ideas to fit weird narratives. That irritates me as a Tae/JK bias so I sometimes feel like I'm just battling that.

That's not to say we don't suggest romance. We definitely do. 😌 But you're right. You gotta protect yourself from potential upset or the weariness of never finding out by accepting that you're never operating at 100% certainty.

I don't think there's prizes for loyalty at the end. If they are a couple, there's no bragging rights if you never had a moment of doubt. JK and Tae aren't personally going to come to your house to congratulate you for never wavering. They are real people, not points to be had.

Sometimes we theorise and make jokes but hopefully it's a respectful vibe? I also hope people would let me know if the vibe got disrespectful.

Just because I'm worried how some people get:

Do I think they're a couple? Yes.

Will I continue to view them through that lens? Yes.

Am I putting my life savings and personal happiness on it? Absolutely definitely no.

So. Where have I been? Mostly in hell (joking).

I've found tumblr just way too intimidating to continue to use, too many threads all at once. Never being done with wips and all that sort.

Also been stuggling with physical and mental health, I have admittedly just ceased as much contact with others as I possibly could. Do I like it? Yeah, unfortunately I like being alone an absolutely ridiculous amount. Is it healthy? Not sure, many people would say its not.

I'm not many people, though.

Do I see myself returning to tumblr for most rp? No. I've been too stressed, I have things I need and want to do, and tumblr being a high priority for writing just doesn't fit in anymore. If I were to return to write here, it would be with specific partners that have taken time with me on discord to also write/plan there in private servers.

I realize that drops a lot of people and I'm incredibly sorry. I'm literally at my max on discord right now too. But know that everyone I've written with (and even not) across my time on tumblr— you all have been amazing. You guys are awesome, you guys are stunning, idk why you put up with me lmao. I love your characters, headcanons, you (platonically) but for my mental health this is just how it has to be.

I've read your rules and some of the older blogs and they really resonated with me.

I used to roleplay Itachi on Amino like you used to play/still play(?) Sasori on here. Those in depth roleplays that just make my heart sing. And also the RPs that are a pain to find because...well...novella takes work. And building a bond with a character who isn't naturally friendly takes even more time.

Still those have got to be the most fun times I can remember from my teens. And I misss them...

It was quite challenging to find people who share similar views on roleplaying and like the same fandom. So I must have given up sometime back. And when I read your blog today, I was instantly like "Oh my god this is exactly what I was looking for" (except like 6 years passed since I last attempted that xD)

So I wanted to pop in and say "Hi, I love your blog already!" but that didn't quite suffice so here we are xD.

It's kinda funny because after all this time not roleplaying, I found myself on tumblr, figured why not make a Sasori RP account (there are many others for the Naruto characters) to have some fun and be nostalgic? But...there was still a little 'eh' that was missing. And I found it in your blog.

I unfortunately no longer RP on tumblr due to some incidents that have made me wary over the years. I also no longer RP Sasori, but I do still RP in the Naruto fandom, just on Discord with friends that I am comfortable with. Novella does take work! But man, if it isn't worth the effort! I'm so glad people are still RPing and taking up Sasori. He absolutely deserves that love! Unfortunately, I did most of my tumblr RP back when the manga was still ongoing and tumblr was at its peak so there was a LOT more interaction then than I see these days. I wish it could go back to being that way! I miss a lot of the friends I made back then! (But also I'm still friends with some of them 10 years later, it's fantastic. You really form some lasting bonds). Even back then, however, there were only ever a couple of Sasori accounts (like... maybe 3, not including myself? And most were not active).

I'm mostly a Shisui RPer these days, though I do write for Kakashi, Tobirama, Kisame, and Izuna, too! Like I said, though, I only RP with those I'm super comfortable with, but if you want, I have plenty of recs for you! I'm also KomorebiRabbit on AO3 and @komorebirabbitwrites. My Sasori is actually heavily based on characterization from @renaerys and her works from back then (such as Zero Hour) and she is still writing FANTASTIC Sasori works to this day. I mean absolutely unbelievable, haunting, you will never get it out of your head type fics. Her characterization is unparalleled and also she's just an awesome person in general! I also mod @sasoriweek which will happen again in November of this year!

Also, if you like dark, horror-heavy Sasori, Athelise on AO3 is absolutely amazing! She writes such an interesting Sasori and some phenomenal smut, I definitely recommend her!

◈　RP PET PEEVES?　 ⋯ 　Hmmm, so one would be one way roleplays. When someone doesn't help push the story along. I don't want to sit here, debating on how I can encourage some reactions or what not. So I always try to give something to reply to whether its by an action, a question, a response that can be added to, etc... I also don't like when I reply with several paragraphs and someone only gives me 1-4 sentences. I do not expect mirror reflections of my post, but I do like quality. Quality does not equal quantity, but can still give absolutely plenty with a couple of paragraphs. And lastly, not communicating. I know sometimes it can be hard, some days your mind literally has no ideas or process. or if your distracted (I know a few people have that with me right now cause I'm playing BG3 XDD) but when you just, don't communicate, how can you write with each other? Its why I always try to send out welcome messages and encouarge the first step of communication.

◈　EXPERIENCE / HOW MANY YEARS　 ⋯ 　I started roleplaying when I was 11 on a site called Avidgamers. So its been a good.....24 years ish?

◈　FLUFF, ANGST, OR SMUT　 ⋯ 　Hands down, Angst is my go to. I will, without a doubt, love angst. Its never too much for me, i could have a bunch of angst going and it doesn't wear me down or anything. That being said, I don't like certain kinds of angst, like person versus person (example, my character and your character getting into an arguing and hating each other, or break ups or things like that). My kind of angst tends to be two people versus a situation, or where one is trying to save the other cause they are cursed, or trapped, being tortured, etc....Angst comfort too is good. I do like smut, but I tend to like to write it with people I talk to often and we have a good dynamic between our characters. Fluff is a bit harder for me, I can't do domestic cutesy things as I tend to get a little bored after awhile.

◈　PLOTS OR MEMES　 ⋯ 　I prefer plotting, plotting helps get a dynamic down (as I do not write first meetings or encounters) so this allows me to get a development of what are muses are like together. Its also a nice little platform of security to know what is going to happen in a thread. It isn't step by step plotting, but just enough of like 'okay, tehy are going to this place, its probably going to have a fight, and this is their objective'. Really simple plotting that allows for the comfort of stability while still allowing the flexibility of a character to control teh flow of the scene. Memes I tend to use after we've done  some plotting because I understand dynamics better and I know what to write or ideas to creat.

◈　LONG OR SHORT REPLIES　 ⋯ 　I'll never give short replies. the shortest you'll get from me is about 2 paragraphs. I don't like gives just a skeleton writing and I tend not to follow people who do one liners or small less then 5 sentences writing. I'm in this for the long haul, I want stories and adventures and fun paragraph form writing.

◈　TIME TO WRITE　 ⋯ 　While I'm online almost all day, its more then likely you see me writing about 10-11pm CST. Writing at night is a lot easier then it is writing during the day. Don't know why, I'm a weird little night owl XD.

6) Canon muses on this blog will be canon divergent to varying degrees depending on the source material/the direction canon takes with these characters.

Example: I will be sticking close to canon with Octavia to a point. Depending on how the series treats her going forward, there is a high chance she will be canon divergent.

Note: Since Octavia is a minor, and I am writing her as such, there will be NO sexual nsfw involving her.

Example 2: Andrealphus, minus the undertones the show is trying to put forth with Stella, will be canon in terms of his personality, goals and motivation. See my muses page for more details about my portrayal of him.

7) This blog is multi ship with each ship taking place in its own verse. I will also ship with more than one version of a muse unless otherwise specified, though they will still take place in a separate verse.

While I am a ship whore and love them to bits, I would also like to plot them out and for them to have chemistry before jumping right in. 

8) I also interact with duplicates and am very duplicate friendly (and yes I am down for twin verses for those who share muses with mine!). I do not have one set character I interact with in regards to my muses (Ex. I don’t have one set Stella or Octavia for Andre, or one set Stella or Stolas for Octavia, etc.) and will interact with multiples of the same muse!

Hey all

I'm still looking around for an long time rp partner. I do have some storylines going at the moment but I'm still kind of figuring out what I want & the more possibilities the better.

Who am I:

My name is Dorian/ Dax. My pronouns are he / him - They / Them. I'm 26 and I have been in the rp community for over 12 years. I have done both long format storylines on rpg forum boards as well as rapidfire ones on Discord and telegram. I've always played fandomless only. I'm pretty flexible when it comes to setting/ rp style.

I am in the CET timezone. My first language is Dutch so it can be that I make small grammar errors when writing in English, especially when writing multiple paragraphs. I study creative writing, so sometimes my replies are a little less frequent when the semester is particularly busy. Most of my OCs are male. I currently have three female characters that stuck around. I don't mind writing female characters, I'm just not very good at it. But who knows, improvement might be inescapable fhfgddd. All of my OCs have an overachring background lore. They are all from the same universe. The lore of that universe can be included in our storyline but it's not necessary for the storyline to function. Basically it can be used if it enriches the story, but I have no problem with dropping my guys into any story world/ AU imaginable.

I am very new to the term "dead dove" and am a little hesitant to partake. Not to say that I won't write any dark themes ever, but it's not specifically what I'm looking for right now. A plot can have its dark moments, but I am not looking for a fully dark plot.

I don't really mind whether you write multiple paragraphs, do one-liners or anything in between. As long as it's well structured, has substance and engages with whatever is going on in the plot, it's great. I love complex inner monolog about what your character is thinking/ feeling. I also really love it when people put detail and thought into the surroundings that the characters are in.

What would work great for me is if you / your character loves to explain things about their homeworld. Or if you/ your character would love to learn about my homeworld.

I love the bonding between characters that formers through learning / exploring together and one of them taking the other under their wing.

Fantasy worlds tend to work best for the dynamics described above but there are _a lot_ of variations possible (think: pirates, medieval, apocalyptic, historical, steampunk, victorian ect) and especially once we know which characters make a good match we can do endless AU's with them too!

I love plotting together and talking ooc. I am so for telling each other about our silly little guys & how they are 100% not prepared for the stuff we're about to throw their way. Please tell me why they would be absolutely insufferable together or super wholesome :3 Feel free to send funny memes about our guys or pictures about our storyworlds. On the other hand I would also like to get to know you & what's going on in your life. Being both friends & rp partners would be awesome! 2 - 5 replies weekly would be great! Though I fully understand that life is very busy and this won't always be possible. Communication is key. As long as the ooc contact stays on / periods of inactivity are communicated about before (if possible) or afterwards, it's all good. Rapidfire would be very fun to do for certain storylines but I understand that it takes a lot of time. So maybe we could try and arrange that on a weekend day.

I love it when people are overall enthusiastic, come up with ideas, engage with the plot, and engage a lot ooc.

Hey there my fellow space exploring pals and writers from previously uncharted worlds! I am currently on the hunt for some sci-fi based goodness intertwined with an overly generous helping of drama, spaceships, lasers, aliens, romantic endeavours, intergalactic sized portions of chaos, moments of tenderness and heartbreaks, more lasers, some cool tech and a story that leaves us hanging on the edge of our seats whilst we eagerly await the next reply with a few unexpected plot related twists and turns thrown in to keep us on our toes. I’m not looking for anything based in other genres right now/with extreme amounts of realism so please keep that in mind when it comes to approaching me and reading through this ad.

-I am looking for someone who can write a minimum of at least three to four properly fleshed out and detailed paragraphs per response in third person past tense as well as a decent grasp on spelling, grammar and punctuation. One liners, single paragraph responses, rushed out replies with frequent spelling mistakes that go uncorrected and constantly swapping between tenses are a no go for me.

-I would like to aim for at least one to two responses per day/every other day, but I am open to planning a schedule with my partners depending on their overall availability so long as there are at least three days of the week where they are able to make a post for the rp and I’m given a heads up about any changes that may need to be made due to life related things outside of our control. I am not open to only receiving one response a week or less than that.

-I am looking for a long term rp partner who is also open to having multiple threads/plots/stories/etc running at the same time or at our leisure. I’m not looking for a short term story that is over and done with in just a couple of days before we part ways and never hear of each other ever again.

-I am in the AEST time zone. Whilst I have no trouble working with people who are in different time zones, please be aware that this might cause a bit of schedule clashing depending on how many hours behind or ahead of you I may be and what times you are available to chat with.

-I am a big fan of ooc chat and love nothing more than opening up discord on my phone to find that I have been flooded with messages containing ideas for the rp, silly little goofy character scenes, memes or even just a funny story about something that happened during the week. -All writers and characters must be 20+. No exceptions will be made in regards to this rule.

-I only play male characters and they’re all aliens. If you do not like the idea of playing against aliens that may have/has fur, claws, fangs, tails, the ability to walk on ceilings, multiple limbs or just anything that doesn’t look like it could be anything else besides a regular earthborn human and lacks any noticeable features to help distinguish them as another species, then I am not the rper for you. I do not care if you wish to play as a human or alien provided it doesn’t look like a xenomorph or insectoid like alien, isn’t made from slime, doesn’t have magical powers, isn’t telepathic and can function in harsh or combative environments without automatically being severely handicapped in some way because their helmet broke and they can’t survive without it due to being unable to breathe without water or they’re blinded by regular lighting and cannot adapt to it.

-I often incorporate certain themes and topics in my stories which may include, but are not limited to: gore, violence, war, PTSD and how that may affect the way a character interacts with others, disabilites, major injuries or illnesses and how they’re treated, abuse, character loss or death, torture, etc. any and all limits will be discussed prior to the planning stages of the rp itself but please keep in mind that I’m not the kind of person who skimps on the dark and gritty parts of a story (barring a few very specific exceptions) so if you are not comfortable with this, I am not the rper for you.

-Romance is my bread, slow burn is my butter. Together they help create the perfect sandwich that I absolutely adore. Gimme that drama which comes with realising that the guy who was only a few seconds away from drawing his pistol and aiming it at your heart when you first met is kinda hot, let them simmer in the tension those feelings cause and stew flusteredly over the little things they both find cute about each other, engage in a bit of insulting (banter) that leaves the characters going “dang….they’re good.”, mercilessly plunge them into the pits of emotional despair when one of them gets hurt, let em see the best and worst sides of each other. Don’t be afraid to sling any ideas that may make it all the more dramatic-er wholesome either! Just don’t get too carried away and let it completely overtake the main story. Pairings wise MxM is what I prefer the most but I’ll also happily indulge in a FxM (with me playing the male character) couple as well. I will not play the role of a female character as part of either a primary or secondary romantic pairing so don’t come to me if you’re looking for someone to do that for you.

-Spice (smut) is a ingredient that I add to all of my rp’s and I don’t like to skimp (fade to black) on when it comes to sprinkling it in amongst the main storyline, but it’s also not something that will come first over anything else either. I like to keep things 50/50 when it comes to having a story to smut ratio and do not wish to have one exceed the other in excessive amounts. I am not a fan of strict dom/sub roles when it comes to bedroom dynamics and will only accept characters who are switches/tops who don’t mind swapping places every now and then, I will not play against submissive bottoms who have no intention of reciprocating or have to be constantly guided on what to do.

-Please keep your time travellers, dimension hoppers, androids, heavily augmented cyborgs,overly emotionally fragile characters, characters who need to be constantly looked after or guided by mine, characters who are blinding rays of sunshine that never feel any negative emotions whatsoever and those who may be more suited to a entirely setting, genre or role at home please.

-I only write on discord due to the ability to make servers so that everything stays neat and organised/easily accessible within its own little category. I will not write on any other platform.

-usual rp etiquette rules such as don’t control my characters,don’t rewrite a whole scene without asking first, don’t overstep any boundaries, let me know if something comes up (if possible), please actively contribute to world building/plotting and have fun also apply.

PLOT RELATED DETAILS:

You’ve (hopefully) read the rules, now it’s time to see just exactly what kinds of stories I’ve got on offer for you. Click on one of the tags down below and it’ll show the pairing for that particular plot as well as a small ‘preview’ of what it’s meant to be about and where it’s set. These are just the bare bones of each plot however, meaning there’s still tonnes of room for brainstorming or introducing other themes provided that they don’t completely change the original idea too much.

When it comes to who plays what, anything that is in bold is the role I wish to play whereas anything that isn’t is up for grabs and can be played by either of us. Again not everything is a hundred percent set in stone (barring the plots that have roles I’ve already chosen of course) so there is the opportunity for some slight tweaking to happen if you’d prefer to play as something else so long as it still meshes with the rest of the story.

STOWAWAY:

(Stowaway x captain)

A injured criminal who is on the run sneaks onboard a strangers ship in the hopes of taking it for themselves after just narrowly avoiding being arrested by the local law enforcement on the station they’ve been stranded on only to be found by the ship’s captain, who appears to be the only occupant of the ship itself given that there’s no obvious signs of any other crew members lurking around somewhere. After a brief struggle the criminal begs for the captain to not turn them in despite the bounty that has been placed upon their heads and reluctantly agrees to help them out with their business in exchange for shelter as well as find a way to pay them the amount of credits that the captain would earn by handing them over to the authorities.

SECOND CHANCES:

(Pilot x rescuer)

After narrowly escaping being captured by the authorities as a result of being framed for a crime they did not commit one of the intergalactic defence forces top pilots flees to a planet located within a system that’s considered to be outside of alliance occupied air space. Tired, injured and afraid the pilot abandons their ruined starfighter and attempts to find a place to stay the night as the weather begins to turn harsh before eventually collapsing in the mud several hours later. A local from a nearby settlement stumbles upon the pilot and brings them home whilst being completely unaware that the person they’ve rescued has been branded as a wanted criminal galaxies away from where they are now. At first the pilot is confused by this act of kindness, only to then realise that word of who they are as well as any news of the crime itself has not yet reached the people of this planet and accepts their rescuer’s offer to stay with them until they find their feet again not knowing that they’d end up sticking around for far longer than they originally intended.

MERCY:

(Pirate x alliance captain)

The most feared pirate in the known galaxies faces off against one of the greatest captains the alliance has ever had in their midst and manages to gain the upper hand whilst the ship they are on is badly damaged from the battle going on outside……only to hesitate from making the final blow once they recognise the captain’s face as belonging to an old friend who they believed had betrayed them many years ago. With the ship heading on a collision course with the nearest planet the pirate is forced to make a tough decision and flees with the captain in tow, both parties more than aware of the consequences their choices may unleash upon them as their escape pod enters the planet’s atmosphere.

ROLE REVERSAL:

(Slave x criminal)

A alliance captain is betrayed by their own crew and sold into slavery in exchange for a large amount of credits. After several months of being returned to the slave trader as a result of many failed 'purchases’ that have led to the captain being dubbed as too 'problematic’ for sale, one of the very criminals that they’d been tracking down prior to their crews unexpected mutiny buys them without a moment’s hesitation once they see just exactly who the person sitting miserably within the display cage is.

OATHBOUND:

(Officer x pilot)

A low ranking alliance officer who has been separated from their crew during a mission gone wrong and is now stranded on a backwater planet is unexpectedly saved from a gruesome fate at the hands of a less than friendly gang of smugglers by a freelance cargo pilot who is intent on keeping their reasons for intervening under a very strict lock and key. The officer strikes a bargain with the pilot in the hopes of finding their way back to their crew, only for the party responsible for their predicament to attempt to stop this reunion from happening in any way possible once they learn of the officer’s survival.

THE MISSION:

(Alien x human )

Seven. Seven alliance ships had disappeared without a trace or been destroyed by unforeseen yet suspicious circumstances. Mining asteroid explosions, ambush attacks, ship failures, all unfortunate yet unpredictable occurrences that were happening far too frequently for anyone to be able to just comfortably sit back and go on with life. With tensions between the alien and human race at an all time high, the alliance itself was desperately trying to find a way to keep the peace without causing a panic. Eventually, a proposal was made. In an all time first since the end of the great alien/human wars, an alien would be chosen and sent to work onboard a human ship. This was considered to be a very large step given many planets were still hostile to one another and the rumours circulating about the missing ships were sparking some strong reactions from both sides but the alliance was desperate….and so was the alien they were planning to send onboard. For them, it was their last and only chance to start a new life and to put a difficult past behind them. Little did anyone know, the appearance of this newcomer was more than just the first step towards changing life as many knew it for the known galaxies.

EXCHANGE:

(Pirate x knight)

A ship full of nobles that are on a voyage to celebrate the betrothal of their heirs and the new alliance between their planets is boarded by one of the most notorious pirates in the known galaxies after it accidentally strays into their territory. The pirate then demands that they be given the heir to one of the noble families in exchange for sparing the rest of them. Fearing for the welfare of their planets and the fate that may befall their best friend/secret lover at the hands of the pirate, the knight of the heir who is chosen begs to be taken instead whilst being under the impression that someone will be sent to rescue them…..only to find that’s not the case as time passes by.

JUST A PILOT:

(Captain x new recruit)

The life of a captain was one which was filled with unnecessary and sometimes completely unwarranted fame, danger beyond anyone’s wildest imagination, a reputation which was far more heavily influenced by any slip ups that the local rumour mongers had caught wind of than good deeds and decisions which always weighed heavily upon their shoulders regardless of the outcome. It was also a well known fact that captains could either bestow a certain kind of glory upon their crew through their heroic deeds, or make their lives the very definition of hell. When a captain who has a reputation for regularly putting their crew through the emotional wringer and a temper that has yet to be matched or tamed by anyone is assigned a new recruit after one of their top pilots is killed in action, chaos of an entirely different kind is born.

TAKING OVER:

(Captain x crew mate)

The lifespan of a captain could sometimes end up being tragically short. It was the captain who was supposed to be the first to jump into their starfighter and guide their crew to victory whenever their ship was under threat, It was the captain who was expected to always be able to know what decisions were the right ones to make in regards to the welfare of the crew and it was the captain who took an oath upon receiving the keys to their ship to never put their own life before someone else’s even when faced with the most difficult decision of all. When the much loved captain of the alliance ship Maelstrom loses their life after a mission gone wrong their second in command is the one who is chosen to take their place as the new captain despite the angry protests from some of the crew members. Will the new captain be able to follow in the footsteps of the one before them and lead the Maelstrom to success whilst earning the respect of the crew, or will the burden be too much to bear?

WHAT LURKS WITHIN A STARRY SEA:

Although they’d abandoned their less than humble watery origins well before the first spaceship had even been invented, Pirates were believed to be one of the biggest threats that anyone could encounter within the known galaxies. Those who were brave enough to attempt to navigate through the vast starry seas of space without a small fleet rallied behind them would often meet their fate at the hands of the bloodthirsty buccaneers whose lust for wealth and power had completely overtaken their ability to feel remorse for their actions. Any twinges of guilt that did attempt to surface were often easily washed away by consuming vast amounts of alcohol and then drunkenly brawling with other members of the crew during the celebratory dinners that came after a successful day of looting or the claiming of another captain’s ship as their own. When a ship is captured by the most feared pirate of all after accidentally flying into their territory and the crew fearfully plead for their lives, fate decides to take matters into its own hands in a most unexpected way.

Most recently I’ve been writing for Phantom of the Opera and Love Never Dies, but according to my AO3 dashboard, I’ve posted fics for just under 40 fandoms and naming them all seems excessive... That being said, my top five are Lord of the Rings, Phantom, MCU (mostly Captain America), Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Harry Potter.

I’d have to say that it’s probably a tie between The Worst Thing (MCU, Steve/Bucky, omegaverse, infertility, miscarriage) and overboard (LOTR, Frodo/Sam, trauma, depression, suicide attempt)

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? 

Hard to say, since aside from the two mentioned above, I write mostly fluffy happy endings... 

8. Do you get hate on fics? 

Thankfully, no. But maybe that just means I need to write more divisive fics? 

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I do write smut, and it’s probably mostly -- if not all -- omegaverse tbh... 

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

I love love love writing crossovers! I think they’re fun and silly and a good time all around. Don’t know if I have one that’s significantly crazier than the rest, but I think i read the hobbit (in 1937 when it first came out) is one of my favorites to think about. I’ve got a soft spot for ws!Bucky is all. Putting him in Middle Earth and adding him to the Fellowship was just for funsies :)

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I’m aware of...

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Yes! A reader translated New Colors into Chinese, which was super neat!

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Absolutely, 100% -- in the sense of collaboratively plotting out and writing a story, as well as taking turns in an improvised narrative style RP, and also something in between where the premise of a fic was agreed upon and each of us had characters to write, RP style. 

14. What’s your all time favorite ship?

I don’t think I can pick a singular ship to label as my favorite... I’d call Zoro/Sanji my OTP, but only because they were the first ship I got involved in fandom for -- I haven’t read a fic of them in years. I’m reading almost exclusively Erik/Christine fics right now, but I’ve come across Erik/Raoul fics that have made me fall in love with them, as well as Erik/Raoul/Christine fics that are so so good... I guess in terms of longevity and my ability to always come back to them, Steve/Bucky has been a solid ship for me? 

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Gonna go with Zoro’s Promise, since it’s the only multichapter fic I never bothered to move from FF dot net to AO3. It’s literally been ten years since I updated it lmao

16. What are your writing strengths?

On one hand, I guess my ADHD-fueled hyperfixation that allows me to write fic after fic could be considered a strength...?

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

On the other hand, as soon as my ADHD-fueled hyperfixation loses its vice grip on me, I lose all motivation to write. Especially if I’ve already written out the scenes that I had in my head, I become incapable of filling in the gaps and making it a cohesive fic... I honestly don’t think I have very good writing hygiene even after taking classes on being better about being a hobby writer oops 

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I personally tend to avoid writing in another language, because I think it’s hard to do well. Sometimes it takes you out of the fic because you have to copy-paste it into Google Translate to figure out what they’re saying, sometimes it takes you out of the fic because you speak the language and the author evidently doesn’t and they used Google Translate. 

19. First fandom you wrote for?

First fandom I wrote fic for and then posted would be One Piece... but in actuality, I’ve been writing fanfiction from long before I knew that’s what it was called. I was probably in second or third grade when I wrote self-insert Peter Pan fics. Also Shrek fics. I don’t have the notebooks I wrote them in anymore, but I have a very vivid memory of writing them.

20. Favorite fic you’ve ever written?

This is maybe the hardest question of all to answer, because while I like a lot of my fics, I don’t know that there’s one that I could call my favorite. My current WIP stranger than you dreamt it (PotO, Erik/Christine, ABO) is one I’m excited to keep working on because, well, omegaverse. But also time and time again (LOTR, Frodo/Sam, Time Travel, Fix-it) was one of the first multi chapter fics I’ve actually finished, so in that regard I’m rather proud of it. I liked the time-travel-y premise of it as well. And even though what comes after (HP, Snape/Harry, Time Travel, Fix-it) is still technically a WIP, I’m still pleased with how it’s coming along... though it’s been a hot minute since I’ve updated it oops

` 1. What is your favorite trope to rp?

[ … ] I am a big fan of any potentially angsty tropes. Ones like life or death situations that force the unlikeliest of people to rely upon one another to form a closeness that would not have existed without such extremes / external circumstances. Generally any plot where a deep relationship can be built between characters for better or worse, definitely is one I love.

If done well,  it can provide a very good opportunity for both writers to explore their muses in a high emotion,  high stress moment.  The impact of it can carry into future threads,  especially if it’s been built up towards or has been hinted at in the past.  When it’s well plotted,  it gives so much potential to explore a lot of different aspects of a character.  It’s great for romantic,  platonic,  antagonistic tensions,   &&.  it can provide the chance to change an entire dynamic depending on how muses react to what’s happening.  MWAH.

` 6. Name 3 things you love most about your muse/muses.

[ … ] Scrambled, but... Ultimately?  Bruce’s love of humanity &&. his surprising optimism regarding it,  his stubborn compassion that gets looked down on as naïve.  How despite the seemingly endless displays of darkness he faces   &&.   finds,  he is so set in finding the good that casts the shadows it hides inside.  You can’t have darkness without light,  it’s always there,  always a part of it.  He believes no one is born a monster or beyond saving   — they’re made,  shaped   &&.  formed through the traumatic trials they’ve faced. But that with enough effort it can be reversed.

He understands better than anyone else that all it can take is a single bad day to completely turn your world on its head,  can make or break a man depending on how close to the edge they’ve been pushed already — he himself is a result of it.  He wants to help.  I just truly do adore his stubborn,  bloody grit teeth optimism.  It’s born from his own experience being exposed to the horrors &&. despite the occasionally brutal, occasionally flawed methods he will use to handle some situations, it’s his subtle &&. guarded empathy regarding those within Gotham that I adore. His violence in attempting to tame it, his relentless fight to try saving what others feel is nothing more than a dying City, a lost cause   —   there’s always a choice.

His is to save his home regardless of how hopeless it feels.

` 7. What is one overrated roleplay trend?

[ … ] Over formatted replies.  It’s not a huge problem for me personally right now, but I do have issues with reading some over formatted replies, especially when I would get them from others in the past.   The aesthetic of it is absolutely gorgeous,  don’t get me wrong. I greatly admire those that can pull it off.

I understand there comes a lot of extra steps from picking fonts to adding &&.   selecting complimenting colours to really tie the entire response together in an artful display,  but I don’t know how else to word it outside of…  if there’s an excessive amount of breaks in some text via font change or bright harsh colours,  it throws me completely out of a scene I’m attempting to get invested in because my goldfish brain sees the sudden change   &&.   then fixates on that over the plot I was envisioning &&. then I have to reread it over again.

It’s so nitpicky, I know, it frustrates me endlessly because of how a written flow for me can easily be disturbed.  Just to reiterate,  it’s a thing I do adore seeing,  but if I am writing against it,  it makes it hard for me to reply at times so I usually ask people if it’s possible to tone it down with our threads.  Other than that,  that's about the only thing to come to mind regarding rp trends.

` 13. Is there one trope you can’t stand?

[ … ] I think… for this not much really comes to mind as I am usually open to trying new things so long as they are discussed beforehand in private.  I guess cheating as far as plot tropes go in rp threads or unnecessarily complicated love triangles.  Simply put it cuts too close to home.  I don’t mind people that do enjoy writing it,  but for me that’s probably the one thing I’ll outright refuse or avoid to write for personal reasons.

` 18. What is one thing you’d wish to see more in the rp community?

[ … ] This is an active issue in a lot of rpcs from what I have seen so far &&. I know I am also very guilty of this on my end — but just people being more active in poking eachother,  anxiety be damned.  I guess simply put,  community support?  Or rpc activity coming back again to where mutuals will actively hype one another easily,  tag eachother in dashgames,  aren’t afraid to kick in dms to screech about possible plots or rp replies.  I am definitely guilty of this myself   ( I am the worst with keeping in touch ooc because of irl issues right now   &&.   stress ).

A positive here, is I haven’t seen much of this in some rpc spaces as of late.  They sometimes tend to come off as a little cliquey especially in recent years so it makes it hard to stay active when you just don’t feel wanted,  you know?  But I am very happy to report since attempting to be more active rp wise lately,  the new faces I’ve seen on dash,  the mutuals made   —   people have been insanely welcoming again.  It’s been nice to see that supportive willingness to interact   &&. be so openly friendly.  I have been writing for a few years now,   &&.   it’s so nice to finally see a hint of that old wholesome vibe I used to notice back in the day making a comeback again.

` 20. Do you need music/noise to write or do you prefer silence?

[ … ] I will always need music to answer things. It helps me focus on a reply, &&. it gives me better chances of envisioning a reply scene more vividly than if I tried to answer with silence in the background. Muse playlists are a life saver!

my turn to go on a little ooc emotional ramble about rp. cw for poor mental health discussion halfway through

im starting with that g2 has been a comfort character for me for. so long. sooo long. i put this guy through hell and then i patched him right back up. good for him.

ive truly loved writing g2 and being around and, like, i SUCK at personal blogging. to this day ive never held down a personal or even an art blog long before teetering to inactivity and often just flat out feeling embarrassed about posting because i feel immensely boring and awkward as a person. like. innately. idk.

rp has always been a way for me to be more comfortable just sharing with the class in a way that has a buffer of characterization and confidence that comes with it + the awareness that on an rp blog ppl want to talk to my muse! thats why ppl follow! thats what its all about!

this year has been exceedingly hard for me, my depression was the worst i had ever seen it and i was very suicidal, which made being on g2 a pretty laborious thing since i was already going through my days not having any outlet and then going into rp as my off-time hobby i also didnt use g2 as my outlet out of respect for where i had written him to be! i wasnt around much and kind of very vaguely said that a couple times i think.

because this blog has pretty much been my replacement for all of a social media presence.. and nearly social presence at all, i really wanted to take a moment to say i think of everyone around as my friends and i truly enjoy the time i spend on here. im glad ive been doing better enough to be around more as g2 because i missed everyone
