You ever just see superficial takes so bad you want to physically take the person and sit them down in front of a theater screen Clockwork Orange-style and show them all different kinds of media that did the exact same thing the exact same way and nobody gave a shit because it didn't matter?!?

#just take that feeling and multiply it by 1000 #raceswap complaints when its going from non-inclusive white to poc #ginger isn't a race guys #and short hair doesn't automatically make you unfeminine #if you haven't noticed #its about the stupid complaint “woke” takes from my adventures with superman #I swear you can tell there's not a theater kid amongst them #adaptation has the word adapt in it #it doesn't mean do the exact same thing everyone else has done for years without changing #it means take the core ideas and themes and tweak the detailing edges a bit #sigh
