headcanons for chikatilo who was heather chandler in a heathers au

heres ur headcanons chikatilo! its been a while since ive read the first few chapters of killer killer so if i mess something up i apologize and u can always ask for changes! i hope u like ur headcanons! - mod kiibo

- chikatilo was definitely considered the leader of his group, consisting of himself, momomichi, and shimizu (although chikatilo wasnt always the nicest of people towards momomichi, though that could be said about him towards most people). they werent that big of a group, truthfully, but chikatilo still enjoyed the benefits of ruling the school with them

- when hijirihara came along, chikatilo didnt see any harm in letting him join his small group of friends, especially after he had done something nice for them. sure, hijirihara probably wasnt the most ideal of people to join “the popular people,” but chikatilo would make sure that he would be by the time he, shimizu, and momomichi were done with him

- around the school chikatilos red gloves started becoming synonymous with terror in a sense, despite the fact that the main reason he wore the gloves was to prevent his hands from getting burned by fireworks and not just for fashion. of course, they looked pretty good too… but still, he was glad to strike fear in the hearts of the other high schoolers

- the day that hijirihara ended up running into shuuji and finding himself falling pretty much head over heels for him, chikatilo couldnt help but tease him a bit. after all, fujigawa just seemed like a total loser, so chikatilo just couldnt understand where hijiriharas feelings were coming from. hijirihara was less than happy with these “jokes”

- chikatilo never really expected to die, even as he was gulping down a cup full of draino. he didnt even stop to taste what was in the cup until he had already downed it. the disgusting taste in his mouth along with the horrible sickly feelings he had made him panic, but in his last moments he saw that neither fujigawa nor hijirihara believed he was dying

- honestly, when chikatilo noticed that he was some form of ghost or something along those lines, he couldnt believe he had really died, especially not in some way like getting murdered by drinking draino. still, he thought it would give him something to do in the afterlife if he could haunt hijirihara and mock him to make up for the fact that he had died so young

- watching hijirihara write his suicide note was such a strange feeling for chikatilo, and seeing the whole school become convinced that he had more depth than he really had was probably even weirder. chikatilo just figured that he couldnt seem to get used to being dead, which was pretty understandable considering hed only been that way for a short while

- of course, during the events that were beginning to unfold, such as more murders and more people wanting to kick the bucket for a variety of reasons, chikatilo made sure to stay by hijiriharas side and somewhat vocally make snide comments about how well he was taking being a killer and dating another killer, but he didnt actually find it funny

- once fujigawa ended up literally exploding, chikatilo wasnt quite sure what to do anymore. part of him believed that his spirit would magically start to go off to a better place where he didnt have to watch the people on earth anymore… but for some reason that just wasnt happening. so it looked like the dead guy with the red gloves was stuck there

- although chikatilo acted like being dead was, ironically, the time of his life, he couldnt help but keep all his lost youth and all the things he wanted to do running in the back of his mind almost constantly. if he could turn back time… well, the only change he would make was drinking the draino, but he would make sure he was having fun with it all

(death tw) sometimes i feel like i did momomichi a favour by killing him, even tho the way i killed him,, was really extra. i mean, considering the fact he was drinking so much blood which wouldve killed him or just fucked up his body systems anyway thanks to increased levels of iron in his body,,, i dont know what the effects wouldve been but at least he kinda more better off?? i guess??
