I miss Lenny 💔 his loss leaves a hole in my heart. But I want to remember all the good times we’ve had together during the 13 and a half years we spent having wonderful adventures, bountiful laughs, and daily cwtches more than I’ll remember the pain. I found some beautiful photos of our darling boy living life to the full 💖 So, do you know how Lenny Henry got his full name? We actually adopted our boy at a later age than usual, 12 weeks, because he’d been adopted then returned (bastards... but they’re stupidity and loss was our gain). So his breeder had already named him Lenny... about four days after we’d had him, I, at age 10, declared to Mum and Dad that we should call him Lenny Henry from now on. When asked why, I responded “he’s like Lenny Henry the comedian!”. “How so?” asked Mum... “he’s black, and he’s funny.” was my innocent answer... and so, the name stuck! Rest in peace, my darling boy. I will treasure your memory, and all the joy and love you brought our family, for the rest of my life.
