Your new WestAllen edit is perfect! I love it so much. Paper Rings is my favorite song on Lover and that line is so suited to Barry and Iris.

I don't think Felicity deserves an heart to heart with Iris. Iris already had to console Felicity about her relationship with Oliver in Crisis on Earth X, even though it was Iris who's wedding was ruined. Then, Felicity rudely interrupted Iris and Barry's makeup wedding. I don't really think their friendship is fair to Iris. I have no interest in seeing Iris play therapist for poor Felicity again and get no support in return. I want SnoWest over either of our girls and Felicity.

LOL, well, I can see not feeling Felicity deserves it. I’m not here for Iris/Caitlin, but I would happily take any female friendship where someone actually listens to Iris and her issues instead of the other way around. Maybe Cecile can be the one if they ever give them another scene. Or Sue when she arrives!

Aww, I love it too. They are definitely a certain soft way with each other that they aren’t with anyone else, and the rest of the world falls away when they look at each other. 

It would be nice to Have It All, but I will take the end of the stick that I’ve got with this ship over almost any other I’ve seen. (My other OTPs that have stood the test of time got the WA side of things too, so clearly that’s just my preference.)

Give us WA Clois-style romantic Smallville sexy times goodness. We know they can do it. That’s what 3x04 was on Joe’s old couch. WE DESERVE IT!

IDG why people claim to be WA fans yet think that the OF love story is portrayed better 🤔 If that were the case Guggie and the other show runners wouldn’t be trying to make their IT couples more like WA 🙄 Barry has been in love with Iris since he was 10 years old. And while he’s been with other woman, they never measured up. Iris was always his one “TRUE” love. And LBR, Iris was with Eddie in S1 basically because Barry was in a coma for 9-months. They’re so much deeper than OF.

If you are a fan of OF, then presumably you like what you’ve gotten for them. But I think WA fans who want more just assume OF are getting it, because from actually watching the show I can tell you they get a lot less than WA.

Yeah, the crossover hasn’t been as iffy as I expected (granted, I only watched Part 1 all the way through and flipped back and forth with Part 2) but it does seem strange that Kara hasn’t had more to do. Wish they had thought of a legit plot for her rather than just witnessing Barry and Oliver’s weirdness. And Iris’s exclusion continues to grate. It makes no sense that she didn’t go along.

Right there with you. There’s no reason they couldn’t have brought her to E1 and switched her with someone so that she can learn a lesson too, like maybe what it means to be truly human vs. alien, I don’t know. 

I didn’t watch tonight’s crossover, but from what I heard, Iris is mentioned a lot, but somehow, the writers couldn’t make room for her physically. This crossover, I wanted my Iris/Lois/Kara team up. I think the actress that played Lois said she was disappointed that she didn’t get to work with CP for the crossover. I don’t know if anything in Elseworlds make sense.

It’s a sad indicator of what they value enough to pay for and what they don’t.

Oh great. Bringing back the “Grant and Candice have have issues being ‘intimate’” argument. How many interviews, BTS videos, gag reels, and deleted scenes do people want to ignore?? Please don’t put this on the actors. They are not the ones running, writing, directing, or editing the show. They can’t act scenes that aren’t written; and even when they do, they get cut. Not. their. fault.

Yeah, the chances that they are the ones stopping it are pretty much zero. I have already brought up the deleted scene 100 times, but it’s proof they will get the job done if there’s a job to get done lol.

Bravo for your patience dealing with all these asks that are basically fighting back and forth and getting nowhere. You’re always fair in your answers. I sometimes agree and sometimes disagree but you always hear people out. That’s why you’re one of the best commentary blogs.

@sophisticatedloserchick​ I didn't say they're friends, I said they don't hate each other the way so many fans (of both of them) think they do. There are absolutely ridiculous rumors that go around about fights they've gotten into or other drama that is nothing but speculation.

The big reason Candice and Danielle are not friends lands squarely on Danielle’s shoulders. Since day one she has in her passive aggressive ways tried to limit Candice’s role on the show, ignores her importance, or outright tried to steal it. 

Do I think they get into cat fights everyday? No. 

Do I think Candice mistrusts her? Yes. 

Do I think Danielle will only support Candice if she somehow herself benefits? Yes (today was a great example of that if you need one)

Do I think Candice wants nothing to do with her outside of work? Yes.

What is not speculation is that Candice unfollowed Danielle on all Social Media. Candice also deleted pictures of her and Danielle around that same time. Candice has not since directly mentioned Danielle in any way that shows they are friends. Just because Candice is a professional doesn’t mean she likes or supports Danielle. 

I agree its immature to think they are at each other’s throats everyday. But its equally naive to think everything is perfectly fine and there’s zero tension/mistrust/frustration between them. In both options you are showing to have a serious lack of respect towards Candice and what she’s gone through.

The only time Iris has wore it was in 4x16 Run Iris Run. Nora wore it in 5x01. I think Caitlin wore it in 2x22 when she got back from being kidnapped by Zomm. Jesse I think wore it in 3x03 when she got her speed.

Oh my god, your Good Doctor gifs are amazing. Your latest with Shaun and Carly holding hands is so cute. I loved the episode “Take My Hand”. It showed how healthy and cute they are as a couple. Love that Shaun at first couldn’t imagine a compromise, but then he came up with one so he could make sure Carly felt supported. Oh, I love them. I don’t think they’re endgame, but I still love them.

AWW THANK YOU SO MUCH (highkey made my night). Me too, I really loved how it was done especially showing Shaun’s growth in the romance department. Yes, the gestures were quite subtle at first, but i found that episode in particular to be quite a big step for them and ShaunI feel you with the whole endgame. I hope they at least don’t abruptly end their relationship (not like it hasn’t been done before) because I actually quite enjoy them.

who has an amazing redemption arc: I would say HR, I don’t think it was an amazing one but I still loved it. The whole point of his character was to die instead of Iris, I think that’s what the writers intended to do with his character at the beginning of season 3 so he had to have a redemption arc and I think they did that quite well.

who is hot af: Iris West-Allen, Nora West-Allen, Cicada (mostly because I had a huge crush on Chris Klein when I was 12, he was my favorite American Pie boy)

Who is Marc, what does he do on The Flash?

Marc Guggenheim was the showrunner for Arrow. He doesn’t directly impact Flash but you remember that little, big thing of Olicity interrupting Westallen’s wedding. Yeah, that was our good friend Marc. He’s now stepping down from Arrow and I believe Legends. He can choke.

Do you think KillerVibe could ever be canon? I'd given up my hope for it because the writers seemed like they were only interested in keeping Caitlin and Cisco platonic, but season 5 has been filled with KillerVibe moments. I've also seen non-KillerVibe shippers noticing romantic undertones to their scene. The writing is clearly getting more and more intense for them and it's attracting new shippers. Do you think we will ever get a KillerVibe kiss?

I guess my hopes have been beaten down after several seasons, lol, but I find a romantic pairing unlikely at this point. That being said, Killervibe are definitely back to S1 interactions, and there have been a lot of really subtle hints and parallels for them.

Since Todd is not AJK, maybe he has a different vision in mind for them and therefore actually wants a romantic dynamic. But neither actor has ever expressed an inclination for it, so it’s hard to gauge. If they do go there, I hope they stick with it for the rest of the series!

EBR noticeably absent from every elseworlds trailer. Guggie is petty.

Yeah, it’s hard to imagine that her role (or at least the promo for her) has been reduced for any reason other than Guggenheim’s pettiness. It’s really unfortunate, because she did the right thing and he is trash.

Did you find it odd that they had Iris mention the team losing Ronnie during the singularity, but not Eddie? I thought it was nice to still think about someone else's man even if his widow barely talks about him, but I found it frustrating that once again, the writers had Iris mention someone else's past pain without her own. Iris is truly the least selfish character.

Yeah, it is an odd choice. I mean, you could argue that Iris isn’t mentioning Eddie because she doesn’t wanna make things weird for Nora. But more likely, it’s that the writers either don’t care about him anymore or else they don’t think we wanna hear about him. 

I was happy Iris expressed some POV on Barry’s disappearances, but I agree that they often neglect other aspects of Iris’ pain.

The tv line pic of CP and GG is so bad. GG looks so uncomfortable. Never seen stars so awkward. They are some damn good actors to make WA look the way they do bc their chemistry outside the show is nonexistent. TV tweeted one outtake pic after months but still holding hostage the others I don't they're ever gonna release them. If all the pics turned out like that I don't blame them.

The more I keep hearing how team flash doesn't believe or help Barry and oliver in Elseworlds, the more puzzled I am because I'm sure they have the technology to do tons of testing. Did MG dumb them down just so Kara could help?

All of their technology is dependent on plot convenience, even in regular episodes, that’s for sure.
