Thoughts on this absolutely exquisite night of national finals below (warning I might sound like a whiny spoilt little girl but who cares)

You can call me pretentious, or that I sound like a 70 y/o that does not understand why all these mainstream pop songs are so popular at the moment and does not get the hype with other trendy stuff such as tiktok (no, I don't have it, and probably won't plan on getting it any time soon), but you really have no idea how gut wrenching this night had been lmao

I was already used to the fact that my favorites almost never win national finals, but at least there were one or two per night that made it. This night? None. Even if I didn't pay that much attention to it.

Let's take them by order, shall we?

Estonia had my favorite rock song in a while, Venom, which I dismissed at first for some reason. While I knew from the start when I listened to the lineup of Eesti Laul that Alika will win, it was still kinda dissapointing. It's probably my favorite of the night but I'm still not quite that attached to it. It builds up nicely, then that's it. And it feels like she sings with no passion. Still, the vocals are great, she has good control on her voice. The instrumental is very pretty. Maybe yeah, I can see myself ranking this high in my top. Moving on

Denmark, sIGH oh my god. There are only a few songs in this mumbly and breathy style of singing that I tolerate, and this is not one of them. His voice sounds pretty whiny to the point that I can't listen to it whole. Nicklas had such an entertaining dad rock and the two girls' song was so calming, the message added a bittersweet tone to the song. This? I can only listen to it for one minute. Or maybe this kind of indie semi-singing style is not for me. Idk I'm trying to be positive but I can't.

Romania, I'll try my best to not be too critical. Perinita had everything. Folk sound, stage show, they even changed the folklore parts that sounded similar with the original song. I admit, during the auditions Andrei grew on me. A lot. I could see him winning the nf. But that staging was. Not it. You will call me a purist, I don't care, but that dude is basically barely legal, yet he had women on stage that were more than half naked, with freaking straps around them which came across as extremely creepy to me. I might be alone in thinking this. If he kept the staging dark or whatever, sorta like his audition version I might have been more content with him winning. His make love not war thing came off as tryhard, though, we didn't need that. At least it's in romanian. And as a bonus, the hype for Aledaida and her shitty striptease club banger uwu drove me up a wall. Sorry for bringing it again but holy fuck was that annoying. It had the worst fans out there.

Latvia, along with Estonia, actually chose well. It was tied with Patrisha for me but in the end I would have been okay with both. I like their song. Hope Latvia will make it back in the finals this year. They deserve it.

Idk man, I feel like people love to swarm around these basic pop songs like ants because yasss queen slay delivered (insert country's capital) 2024 she aaateeeeee 💅👌✨ or mumbly 9th grader who just discovered Billie Eilish is rElAtAbLE yay deppreshun is what matters now in music. Nobody actually seems to pay attention to anything other than pop or that has a good message or is heading towards a different sound than what you normally hear being pOpUlAr these days. Or maybe it's just me being dramatic and flaunting that my tastes are uncommon and nobody understands my music taste boohoo

Anyway, that's it with this rant, I even contemplated for a while if I should bother watching esc this year but of course I will because it's literally my life and soul at this point. I can't say the same about national final season. I don't think I'll touch it with a 3 meters pole after this year, I'd rather listen to the selected songs after they're chosen, thanks. Honestly I find it extremely hard to choose a song that I genuinely love so far. Last year I had Moldova, France, Iceland, this year? Well, I think it's still too early to tell. Will wait and see and maybe I'll find a song to root for. But for the time being, I think I have said enough. Brb I'm going back to listening to all those boring old eurovision classics such as Net als toen on full volume to forget about the dissapointment of today.

Austin liking that video about “your girlfriend hating you” just proves the video he liked earlier in the year “when the devil cant find u he sends you a girl with two A’s” was about Kaia. I remember very clearly folks saying it was about Vanessa, but I highly doubt she was in mind when he liked that post. Also Kaia has a short name and you cant miss the two A’s lol. Austin looking miserable in all his pap pics WITH KAIA proves this even more, he looked content w Vanessa although I’m not a fan of her. He liked it because of Kaia and ppl just gotta deal w it. That girl is probably hell behind closed doors and I believe she has a victim mentality. All this feminist talk she does alludes to this even more she probably tried to make Austin feel guilty bc of OTHER men who may have victimized her. Wouldn’t be surprised if she’s a master manipulator especially with that soft valley girl voice that might fool somebody.

I never thought Austin was liking that IG post (tagged #toxicrelationships) thinking about Vanessa. And if he was, that still doesn't look good for the shippers because then that would mean that he's still stuck on an ex over 4 years post-breakup. 🥴

But I always suspected that he liked that post thinking about Kaia. Austin was still a teenager when he met Vanessa. He was free, happy and single, with a great career on the way and living his best life before he met Kaia.

Gemma and Anne’s IG posts the other day had me thinking of how whenever they are together without Harry, especially with their cousins and family friends, he probably gets serious FOMO.

He loves his family (especially his mum) more than anything, and you find it incredibly endearing. But when he knows everyone is back home together having a good time without him, he gets all pouty and feels a bit sorry for himself. He glues himself to the group chat and Instagram so he can get updates on what they’re up to. He likes all of their posts and reacts to their stories (on his private account of course) as if it makes him feel more included. Maybe they’ll see the notification and think of him, or even send a text with a “wish you were here!”

And you don’t want to feel bad for him, given that the two of you are spending some much needed quality time together in a private villa, in Italy of all places! Recently, coordinating your schedules has been an absolute nightmare, so it was a miracle that you were able to take some time away from work to join him on this trip. Although he’s technically here on business (filming and Gucci and whatnot), you’ve spent the majority of the time side-by-side basking in the sunshine by the pool (and wrapped around one another in the bedroom).

In fact, a part of you is slightly annoyed that he is wishing he were somewhere else instead of appreciating his time with you. But another part of you, perhaps the more compassionate part, knows that he doesn’t get to see his family as often as he likes, especially since he’s been extremely busy lately. Deep down you know he’s happy and grateful to be spending time with you in a beautiful country, living a lavish life that many could only dream of… But Harry is a certified mama’s boy who hasn’t been home in months.

So when you roll over in your lounge chair onto your side and see the man you love looking down at his phone scrolling through photos in the family group chat with his eyebrows furrowed, you know what you need to do.

“Hey baby?” You reach out and place your hand on his forearm, rubbing your thumb back and forth against his warm, sun-kissed skin, as if to soothe him.

“Hmmm?” He doesn’t look up from his phone, but lets you know that he’s listening.

“It’s been a while since we’ve seen Anne and I quite miss her. How would you feel about stopping in Holmes Chapel before we head back to London? I think I can swing a couple extra days off work.”

When he finally looks up from his phone and turns his head toward you, you see a sparkle in his eye and a smile as bright and wide as the Cheshire Cat. He scrambles up from his lounge chair and quickly moves onto yours. Straddling you with his entire body weight pinning you down, he wraps you in his arms and starts placing quick kisses all over your face.

“Yes,” is all he says before placing a long, slightly wet, kiss on your forehead. “I would like that very much, thank you.” Unable to wipe the smile from his face, he places one more tender kiss on your lips.

You reach for the sunglasses that sit atop his head and remove them so you can run your fingers through his soft brown curls. “You’re welcome, H.” He leans into your touch, eager for a cuddle. “But you have to get off me. You’re squishing me.”

“Right, sorry.” He unwraps himself and moves to sit by your feet at the end of the chair. “Actually, I think it’s time we get out of the sun, yeah?” He grabs your hand and intertwines your fingers. The sly look on his face is all too familiar as his gaze trails down your body. “You’re lookin’ a little sunburnt, but I’ve got something I can rub on that back in the room.”

Social Media Anon Here!

Firstly, never change Grumpy ;) you are probably the only person on Tumblr to LISTEN to another view and let it change a prejudice.

Secondly, the Padagram/Social Media change bus continues. Don't be fooled people will be looking at positive and negative reactions to that change on social media.

So here goes!

1. They are starting to market season 2 of Walker in Hiatus. That really doesn't happen. That means they know they need to target new viewers. They are acknowledging they have a problem. The main problem is Jared either didn't learn enough about production quality on SPN (Jensen/Misha were both more interested in behind the camera's) or that he thought he could stick a Stetson on and we all had such sh1t for brains we'd watch anything. So they need a viewer boost DESPARATELY and are going all out to (a) persuade Walkers remaining viewer(s) that it's worth sticking around and (b) get back old viewers or convert 1m+ viewers to season 2. So now we see all the cast (and Keegan has more followers than Jared and Lindsay has a VERY engaged following) trying to persuade their followers how fabulous Walker is. Expect this scrabbling to continue if they want their COVID paychecks.

2. Connected to 1, Jared has started trying to break out of the fandom bubble. I don't think he's trying for power couple (the clue in a power couple is that two FAMOUS people get together and create a super brand, here we have one niche C famous guy and a hanger on wife), I think we are in Jared profile raising and trying to raise his recognition score, which is probably a little low having half assed it in the last year and a half. He's doing it by scatter-gunning so I'm not sure it's going to stick.

3. Connected to 2,

(i) if I run my algorithm clean laptop with a "Jared Padalecki" news search, I get (a) a daily mail article on Jared "clarifying the rift" (b) a "hello" magazine saying he's been "inundated with support after death of "family member"" (c) the new york times article on Walker and Supernatural. It then goes into a variety of articles about Jared raising money for Holly's family (fucking atrocious in my view to use her death for publicity) and a series of derivative articles on his mantrum and later explanation. ONLY THE NEW YORK TIMES ARTICLE MENTIONS WALKER other than as a throw away, all of the others link to Supernatural only. Walker isn't on the main radar of anyone as a show. It's not mainstream enough to mention. it has ZERO buzz.

(ii) if I run the same search on my compromised tablet, I get a SEA of fluff articles "jared padalecki goes to venice", "jared padalecki's wife wishes him a happy birthday" "jared padalecki goes to watch soccer" "jared padalecki goes to the wrestling". I'm expecting "Jared Padalecki defecates regularly" tomorrow.

At the end of that I get the same articles as in (i) but the majority of his publicity is still going through the fandom and the, not very viewed, endless zine type websites that update on every episode of every geek show every day.

So we are seeing, and I expect it to continue, a break out Padalecki, (who knows he and his forehead may wish to have a final crack at films), and a fluff Padalecki, trying to stay relevant a year after SPN relevance ended, because he hasn't got the same push for season 2 of Walker as he had for season 1 and Walker has zero presence. No one, not even the fans are talking about Walker.

Will it work? I don't think so. Keegan has 7m followers on Insta and that's because he's a photographer and writer and it's interesting. I would follow his account (I don't), but certainly it isn't a Walker instagram.

Jared is a clever guy, but he's boring on social media. He has a limited appeal. He does family snaps, hunk snaps, flogs orange pee and flogs his show. He says "family" and "mantra" a lot but that's really it. The clue is, if you didn't know who he was and came across his instagram you wouldn't follow him. Why would you? For a video of a guy running up steps? A smug picture of two middle aged men trying to flog you something?... (oh and lots of "brother" comments on Keegan's social media, which is irritating. It's like he thinks that is his repeatable formula and it isn't).

His media approach won't work because advertising and exposure pushes a product. In TV's case, it's not a one off product and there is a lot of competition. Product Jared needs to be more interesting (his mantrum's are the only exciting thing about him - and that is tragic) and his TV show just needs to be BETTER, well, a LOT BETTER.

Soooo, expect the Padapush to continue, but it's not about a couple, it's about individual marketing and for Jared breaking out of SPN bubble. For Gen, it's her tag along profile that she'll never break out of. She'll have to be satisfied with her superpower of being able to persuade people to buy toothbrush's and dog food (if she can).

Expect though the couple's bit to die off a little. Jared is getting over exposed. His engagement rating is plummeting (nearly 3% is a plummet) because of the repetitive photo content. He'll have to back off or people will switch off (I have already). What makes me laugh is.... from the dawn of time when cavemen took their wives 2 miles away for a new cave weekend.... NO ONE HAS EVER BEEN INTERESTED IN SOMEONE ELSE'S HOLIDAY SNAPS.... Gen and Jared apparently need to learn that lesson...

I might stop these posts now because, well, it's gotta be a bit boring for you and I write LONG. :)

I started following Lindsey on IG because she seems pretty genuine, and her cat is way too cute! Plus, I like her attitude. I haven’t followed her for the whole Walker season, but even she doesn’t post a lot about it. She posts interviews and then posts about that night’s episode, but other than that, nothing.  Can’t speak for Keegan, but how are fans and non-fans supposed to be excited about a show when the people STARRING in the show can’t be bothered? Maybe they’re all aware of how shitty it is or maybe they’re lazy, but it doesn’t make sense. 

I’m always interested to see the difference in an “algorithm-free” setting and one that has an algorithm. I always figured Google was the same for everyone, but seeing the difference in articles you’ve outlined is insane. It really just goes to show that Jared isn’t the star that his stans think he is. He’s not as important as they think he is, he’s just an actor.  It’s even more jarring to see just how little Walker is talked about at all. All of my devices probably have been “contaminated” when it comes to algorithm so I can’t really speak personally about the public and fans talking about Walker or not talking about it. I can say that on the posts about Walker from the Supernatural Facebook page, a good chunk of the comments are people saying they stopped watching, never got into it, or thought it was trash. There are only a handful of comments talking about how they enjoy the show. 

I think it was disgusting for him to use a fan’s passing for publicity. And no, I don’t think it was anything other than a PR stunt. Her family had a GFM going that was promoted by plenty of the case INCLUDING GEN, so you know he knew about it. But for him to make his own special one and then have articles posted everywhere about how charitable he is? That’s gross PR bullshit and I hope it backfires. 

I still follow a few Supernatural fans, Jared fans, Jensen fans, etc. on Tumblr and even they aren’t mentioning it. I think maybe the hardcore Jared stans post gifsets or whatever, but I don’t see much praise for the show itself, just Jared’s looks. Even the fans aren’t biting and that would make me reevaluate everything if I was Jared.

I mean, I could see him doing like a side character role or something small, but I can’t see him having a big part of a movie. Like I said, maybe that’s me being biased but I see him staying in TV. I could be proven wrong, but I don’t know. 

I agree about Jared being boring on SM. I used to get some giggles from his Twitter posts and even some of his early IG posts because they were goofy, clever, and candid. It showed his humor and was more personable. Now it’s just all fake and comes off as someone whose only motivation to engage with fans is money and that’s a big turn off. 

For me personally, I think that if instead of the “couple goals” bullshit that they try to push for their lavish trips, if they just posted cool pictures they took of different locations, activities, food or whatever, that would be more palatable than all the “Look at my hubster and I! We’re in Italy! Look at how in love we are!” But maybe that’s because I’ve become a bit of a photography nerd? 

I guess time will tell whether or not Jared will make positive changes and if Walker can be saved, but I’m not really optimistic about it.

Dated Jo for about 5 months after the villa until she broke up with him, finding that their lifestyles were too hectic for them to continue, at least that was her public statement to the fans but they really grew apart & the “love” was no longer there

Ibrahim seemed to be more upset about it than Jo in the beginning resulting in snappy replies for awhile, which again stems from him not knowing how to express himself

She checked up on him A LOT, almost as if they never broke up but Ibrahim felt like he needed his space now. They talked it out the best they could over dinner and got closure but that didn’t mean it didn’t sting. He just didn’t think it was needed to be calling each other everyday to see how they were both holding up. If they were done, then that’s what they should be

Jo didn’t see it that way. She still cared for Ibrahim, that didn’t mean that they had to stop talking in her view. She wanted to know how he was coping, and was known for “sticking her foot in her mouth” so that was also a flaw in their relationship

She would say certain things that touched on how she was feeling but didn’t express them at the right times & then there was Ibrahim who didn’t know HOW to say the things he felt which left jo to assume things

Ibrahim was back to the single life and he hated it. He wanted someone he could come back home to, someone that wanted to be with him for the long run. A part of him feels like Jo wasn’t planning to be with him for the long run in the first place and in a way that was okay? Sometimes you don’t know where you’re going in relationships but there should be some sort of goal? Maybe? At least that’s what he thought. Yeah they had fun but he wanted more someday

He was still young he didn’t need to be hung up about it right? Sike. He didn’t know how to take things lightly. That wasn’t how he was built. And to get comments about his ex relationship and have fans dragging him about his choices in the villa A YEAR later!!! Was disheartening

Shannon seemed to be doing well. He thought they would still be friends, at least that’s what she showed before she left the villa. Before he got her dumped. They talked a couple of times since then, jo personally wasn’t a fan of that—Shannon didn’t care but it was clear there was some tension still there

Buona Primavera.

Okay, as promised, as we wait for Marta to get out of uni and meet Ele to talk about the Devil Himself Andrea Incanti (reported missing after the Flower Queen dragged him into silence and Rich King Incanti probably chaired him), I’ll give you the context behind Giancarlo’s last IG story.  

In Italy we love trash so much that the Instagram (and Twitter too) page called “Trash Italiano” is now a verified account with 1,3 milion of followers and everyone in TV  knows about it and often talks about how they’ll end up as a GIF/meme in that page when they do/say something embarassing.

Cristiano Malgioglio, the guy with the circular glasses that (like the queen he is deserves) is everywhere on Twitter in the Skam Italia fandom (just like in every single other italian fandom), is obviously the face of italian trash culture, to the point where he’s now friend with the guy behind the page. Half of the meme/gif you see the italian fandom using for Skam all the times come from that page (that takes them from the most trash italian reality show, talk show, game show and basically everything). 

You probably saw at some point some skam italian stans dragging the other remakes by saying stuff like “troppi cereali sottomarca vi dovete mangiare ancora” (=too many sub-brand cereals you still need to eat), especially with Giovanni Garau’s face put next to any other Jonas remake’s face: that’s a now iconic trash quote dropped during a pretty fun IG stories fight between two italian singers/influencers and the meaning is basically “too many sub-brand cereals you still have to eat to be as good as me”. (Spoiler: no amount of cereals will ever make you as good as Giovanni Garau.)

You can also find “beans” instead of “cereals” since Cristiano Malgioglio recently misquoted the actual sentence and everything he says is (trash) law.  

It pains me that I would need millions of characters to even scratch the surface of all the gems hidden in italian trash, but straight to the point -- > Recently Pamela Prati, an old italian soubrette, started going from talk show to talk show saying how she was finally getting married. To who? Mark Caltagirone, that’s who. Except no one knows who this man is, except that he’s very rich, always travelling for work and honestly, I only followed briefly the story through the page Trash Italiano, so I won’t get into details, but after weeks and weeks of pure amazing trash, it turns out the man doesn’t actually exist: behind him there was Pamela’s Prati female agent all along! …maybe. The agent says she is a victim too of this mysterious nonexistent man, whose name they both, Pamela and the agent, have tattooed on their bodies. There are also kids and another woman involved and a certain Simone Coppi who could very well be Mark Caltagirone himself or even just Chicco Rodi, I’m gonna be honest, it’s super complicated (to the point where the official italian Netflix page posted a fake cover of their new original show “MARK CALTAGIRONE”) and I didn’t pay that much attention because I’m only here for the trash and the memes and the reaction gifs (the one where Pamela stares the conductor dead in the eyes and keeps repeating, almost crying, “he doesn’t exist, he doesn’t exist” is a perfect answer to where is my love life for example). Point being, I have no idea what the actual story behind Mark is, but I know this: in the first conversation Pamela had with this man, without having ever talked to him before, the very first text she sent him is “Buona primavera.” (Happy spring)  

To which he replies with “Now it is a good spring.”

This plausible, romantic example of the beginning of an epic lovestory (Incantava who) that ended in a marriage inspired people all over Italy and they all decided that it was worth a try. It started with a girl that slide into Leonardo Di Caprio’s dms with a “Buona Primavera” and then sent the screen to Trash Italiano, who reposted it.

In a matter of hours David Beckham, Harry Styles, Shawn Mendes and every single celebrity you can think of had received his fair share of “buona primavera” and the hastag #PamelaPratiChallenge went trending on Twitter. (I may or may not have wished buona primavera to Daniel Sharman.)  

So a Buona Primavera is basically a deus ex machina, a Chicco Rodi move, something you send to your impossible crash hoping the power of trash will defeat all the odds and lead you to an happy marriage with them even If they don’t know you exist.  

And since Giancarlo Commare is very desiderable husband material, all of this brought us to his last IG story:

“Everyone is wishing me happy spring, but here it’s raining, it’s winter, where do they see spring, it rains, it raaaains!”

Such an innocent soul. Complaining about the weather while everyone is actually trying to seduce him. (Now he knows apparently, the Twitter people told him)

 The moral of this story is: JUST WISH EDOARDO HAPPY SPRING AND EVERYTHING WILL BE ALRIGHT ELEONORA FFS!

Back in March I wrote a preview piece on Anonimo’s new Epurato announced at Baselworld 2018. After meeting with the US Anonimo team at COURTUREtime 2018 in Las Vegas, they were kind enough to send me one for a hands-on review. I’ve had the piece now for a good month and developed some pretty solid impressions of the watch. 

Let’s first address the elephant in the room. Yes, the Anonimo Epurato is shaped very similarly to one quite well known brand out there that starts with “P”. This offends many hardcore “P” fans, but there’s a very good reason for the looks of all of Anonimo’s collections. Following Richemont Group’s acquisition of the Panerai in 1997, and its subsequent move from Florence, Italy to Neuchatel, Switzerland then Panerai CEO Dino Zei jumped shipped and teamed up with Federico Massacesi of Ferragamo to create Anonimo in Florence. As a former Italian naval officer, Zei was able to repeat what originally made Panerai famous, that being to supply time pieces to the Italian navy.

Fast forward 20 or so years and under new Swiss ownership, Anonimo appears to be firing on all cylinders after several years in limbo. While they’re know mostly for their big, burly chronographs and divers (Militare and Nautilo respectively), with the new Epurato the brand is dialing it back just a bit, hoping to appeal to a wider range of buyers.

To start, the Epurato is downsized to a more wearable 42mm. It also foregoes the 4 o’clock crown placement of the Nautilo, and the even more odd 12 o’clock crown placement of the Militare in favor of a more standard 3 o’clock crown. The 3-handed dial is much more conservative than the other two collections, venturing further into the dressy side of the house.

Polished stick indices mark every hour save for 4, 8, and 12 where we find the double-digit Arabics made famous by the Militare. You’ll notice that those three indices form the letter “A”. The sword shaped polished and lumed hour and minute hands extend nicely out to their respective tracks, as does the polished seconds hand. The date window sits down at 6 o’clock, a position that I generally prefer over the more standard 3 o’clock location. I feel that it helps to balance the dial better. Above the date is the word “AUTOMATIC” printed in white, while an applied logo resides just under 12 o’clock with “ANONIMO” under that, also printed in white. While the dial is offered is several different colors, the piece I had in for review was graced with a beautiful light sunray blue shade.

The square cushion case is mostly polished with only the upper surfaces of each corner treated to a brushed finish. Nicely done crown guards ramp up to meet the signed crown at about its mid-point. Speaking of the crown, for me it was the only weak point of the watch. My hands are on the larger size and I found it a bit difficult to manipulate. This may be picking nits, but as good as the rest of the watch is, the crown didn’t quite meet the same bar. A slight increase in diameter would work wonders here.

One of the standout hits of the watch for me is the gorgeous fluted bezel. While thin, its highly polished surface catches the light perfectly from every angle. I’ve traditionally not been a fluted bezel guy, but Anonimo really nailed it here with the Epurato. It takes what would otherwise be a pretty generic Panerai lookalike (at least from a case perspective) and ups the ante considerably. It helps the Epurato successfully transition from a sporty piece during the day, to a dressy piece in the evening.  Helping in those efforts is the 11.9mm overall thickness, allowing the Epurato to gracefully slip under a dress shirt cuff.

Flipping the Epurato over we’re treated to a view of the Sellita SW200 automatic movement through a sapphire exhibition case back engraved with the Anonimo name and logo, “Swiss Made”, and the 5 atm water resistance rating. The aesthetics of the movement are nothing to write home about, but I tend to be a sucker for an exhibition back. The 22mm polished lugs hold a quick release brown leather strap with a wood grain pattern, and the brushed and polished buckle makes excellent use of the Anonimo logo.

So how was the Epurato to live with for a month? In a word, fantastic! Everything about the watch, from the incredible blue dial, to the cushion case, to that incredible fluted bezel worked for me. I found this to be surprising given my relative lack of interest in Panerai over the years. Perhaps it’s the addition of a central seconds hand, something that has always disappointed me about Panerai’s offerings, that does it for me. Maybe it’s the now trademark double-digit Arabic indices at 4, 8, and 12. Or, possibly the fluted bezel is what so draws me to the piece. More than likely it’s the sum of all these parts that adds up to a watch that I’d add to my own collection in a heartbeat. As an aside, many of you probably know that my wife (@perpetualgirl on IG) is also an avid collector, and while she loved the look of the Epurato, at 42mm it’s still too big for her and many other collectors out there. Downsizing from the 44.4mm size of the Nautilo and the 43.4mm size of the Militare is a good first step, it would be great to see Anonimo follow Panerai’s lead by offering a collection that comes in below 40mm.

The Epurato case is offered in several different finishes, including bronze and black DLC, while the dial is offered in no less than ten very pleasing shades. Starting at a respectable $2,480 USD for the stainless steel model I had in hand, and rising to about $3,200 for one of the bronze-cased references, the Epurato should prove to be a very successful entry into the sport casual/dress market for Anonimo. I’d go to a protest if there was one nearby that I supported.

England: Are you controlling?That’s hard to answer? Because when things happen my initial instinct is to control them. But I’m a lot more chilled out than I used to be, and continuing to try to improve on it. So the amount of things I actively try to control are very slim. The issues lies more with my hatred of vague plans tbh 😂

Estonia: Do you think people often misunderstand you?I don’t open up to that many people, not really. Most the therapists I’ve seen have never got me at all. In terms of friends, some do get it, though it depends upon what specifically I’m trying to explain/show etc.

Finland: What do you prefer; kindness, sternness or apathy?Kindness, for sure. It’s nice to know other people might look out for you when you’re not necesarily in a place to look out for yourself. Sternness is just,, hard to communicate with and apathy can put me on edge.

France: How do you share love for those you care for?Most the time I just send them memes 😂 I try to make sure I’m honest and I don’t hold back with compliments. I also try to show then that I really am interested in them/their life, tho sometimes I worry I’m annoying them.

I’d just broken up from school for summer that day and we had an estate agent coming to value the house the next day so we could move out of the Flood Zone. That evening it rained and rained and I ran around the village asking council people to help us but no one came so we stayed up till 2am pouring water from around the house into wheelie bins to try and stop it coming in. Then I had a breakdown in the bath and just remember feeling so trapped. I never want to go through that again.

Sweden: Are you a leader, follower or independent?Lmao all of the above, depending on the circumstances 😂 I don’t mind leading things and taking charge, Im quite good at being organised. But equally I don’t mind following other people if I agree with their plans. I also love being independent and doing things alone, bc it feels free and you don’t have to worry about anyone else.

Switzerland: Would you consider yourself evil, good or neutral?Good, I think. I try to be a good person. Sometimes my initial reaction or thoughts might not be good, but I always want to do the right thing.

Turkey: Would you ever want children?Without a doubt, yeah. I’m not sure if I’d have my own or adopt, maybe both. I’m not that naturally maternal; I love kids but knowing how to talk/react to them doesnt come naturally. Im probs more of a dad 😂

Ukraine: What is one thing that has made you stronger in life?I have no idea. I don’t feel like a very strong person at all. My life just feels like a long string of events I’ve had to cope with.

Vietnam: What is something you are proud of about yourself?I don’t really,,, feel pride 😂😂😂 like I honestly can’t think of a time I’ve felt like that. I guess I’m pleased I did well in my A levels? But even then I wouldnt say I’m proud.

Yemen: What kind of art do you like?Its hard to describe? I know it when I see it 😂 I’m not too bothered about portraits and paintings of dull landscapes, but equally some modern art is barely Art. I quite like paintings that are bright, or tell a story. I also like sculptures if theyre based on cool stuff like, the human body ooor dragons idk. Mosaics are p nice too

Zimbabwe: Who is your favourite character from any folklaw?I’m not sure I know many folklaws 😂 The person that comes to mind is rumplestiltskin, but I think thats only bc I love his chacter in Once Upon a Time
