2019: Charles Leclerc (crashed at Parabolica in the 2020 GP)

2020: Pierre Gasly (crashed out on the first lap in the 2021 GP)

2021: Daniel Ricciardo (suffered an engine failure mid-race in the 2022 GP)

2022: Max Verstappen (?)

The previous back-to-back winner of the Italian GP was Lewis Hamilton who won in 2017 and 2018
