a couple minutes later paige got home, a chiptole bag in her hand with you and her chipotle order in it. “hii paigeyy” you greeted your girlfriend. “hi baby” she says smiling wide. you grabbed the bag from her and sat it down on your island.

once you were finished eating you decided it was go time.

you went to tiktok and started recording, you put the phone by your face and pretended you were on facetime. (you have airpods in)

“ehh, i dont really wanna play basketball” you say trying to hide your smile. immediately after saying that paige gives you that ‘whos on the phone?’ look.

you pretend to not see her, “yeah, but i was thinking i could come over and we can go to walmart.” you continue, “yesss lets get some trufu.”

paige starts to smile at those words and walks over to you on the couch.

Galadriel is not in love with Sauron and i hate that people say this all the time because Sauron clearly only wanted to turn one of the more mightier elves dark. He would do that to anyone, he is an ass and tries to manipulate each and everyone if he could. And i wish people would see him for what he is; Just a power greedy bad guy! And that is okay because Vickers absolutely smashed this role and i am here for hit. But he has never been and will never be in love with Galadriel nor will she be in love with him. She never was, never will be and I will die on that hill lmao, sorry for the ramble i just wanted to point out that Sauron x Galadriel does not make a lot of sense to me personally.

I’ve probably blocked at least 30 people myself recently because I just cannot deal with this take that Sauron and Galadriel are in some kind of twisted romance. Like, to me, this isn’t a dark, forbidden "love story": it's a classic tale of a power-hungry villain trying to manipulate one of the mightiest elves to his side for his own ends.

Galadriel deserves so much better than that nonsense.

And let’s be real: Charlie did such a phenomenal job bringing Sauron to life that I actually love to hate the guy!XD😂 He absolutely crushed it. Sauron’s a villain through and through, and it was so satisfying to see him make that manipulation so terrifyingly convincing.

But romantic? Nope, nope, and nope again, for me at least!

Sauron isn’t exactly giving “star-crossed lover” energy here; he’s serving straight-up “I’ll take anything I can get” vibes. The guy literally realized Galadriel wasn’t interested in his dark side, so he turned around and tried to replace her with Mirdania just because she vaguely resembled her. That’s not love—that’s classic rebound behavior with a side of desperate manipulation. If this is what people are calling “true love,” I’d love to know what media they’re watching because that’s a massive, skyscraper-level stretch.

Sauron’s not looking for a partner; he’s looking for a pawn, and Galadriel sees right through it now.

He’ll manipulate anyone, play any role, and whisper any sweet nothings necessary to get what he wants.

And that whole “woe is me, I’m just misunderstood” speech? Only goes so far, folks. Galadriel literally told him to heal himself because she could see his whole “tragic dark lord” act was just another trick and she had enough of it.

She literally fell of a cliff trying to un*live herself to AVOID dealing with him.

Yet somehow people are still, “No, but he just needs love to be saved!”

Why don’t people want her to heal and find peace? Genuinely, why? Galadriel choosing to stand her ground, taking steps to block out the abuser, and seeking her own peace is beautiful. It’s powerful and strong in its own right, and yet people tear it apart just to force this "star-crossed lovers" narrative, when it’s not even close to that trope.

The fact that Sauron has shown time and time again that he’s NOT interested in healing—he’s interested in control, manipulation, and his own power—doesn’t seem to get through to these people. It’s not about saving him here, it’s about letting Galadriel reclaim her own strength and make decisions for her own life.

But no, apparently that’s not "romantic enough", so they would rather have her broken down and emotionally abused so they can cheer for this toxic, unrealistic idea of “love conquering all” when it’s clearly not that.

It’s so frustrating to see this idea that the only way Galadriel can truly be strong is by enduring more pain, that somehow she must be this savior who accepts the worst of people just for the sake of growth or “character development.” But no, she’s not some sacrificial lamb for Sauron’s redemption arc—she’s a woman who’s been through enough already, and the moment she stands up for herself, says “no more,” and blocks the abuser, that is the real strength. People don’t realize that true peace and strength come from walking away from toxic situations, not fighting to be “the one to fix” someone who is intentionally hurting you.

It’s frustrating, because by promoting this idea that Galadriel should be in constant turmoil for the sake of someone else’s redemption, they strip away the real, necessary healing she needs. It’s not just about “moving on” in some perfect, romantic way—it’s about healing from abuse and manipulation, and no, she doesn't need to go back into that toxic cycle in the name of “love.”

It doesn’t have to be some grand, tragic narrative for it to be powerful. And it certainly doesn’t need to involve her emotionally sacrificing herself to save a villain who clearly has no intention of changing.

Newsflash: Obsession isn’t love. Manipulation isn’t love. He doesn’t need love to be redeemed; he needs accountability and probably a few millennia in elf therapy! Galadriel doesn’t owe him an ounce of her loyalty or affection, and I’ll proudly die on that hill with you.

Galadriel is not Sauron’s therapist—she’s got her own epic destiny to fulfill.

The guy lied to her, betrayed her, actively manipulated her trust, hurt/killed her closest friends, tried to un*live herself to avoid him, and made a power grab right under her nose. And after all that, we’re supposed to believe she’d just sigh and say, “Oh, that’s alright! Let me just go ahead and reserve us a table for a cozy little date night”?

People keep acting like Galadriel’s got this endless capacity for forgiveness where she’d just brush off everything Sauron’s done—right down to being like "If I can't have you, no one will" and STABBING HER/TRYING TO KILL HER.

She’s wise enough to know the difference between a wounded soul worth saving and an outright power-hungry villain who’s only ever been out for one person: himself.

Did she make mistakes? Sure, like anyone, she’s had moments of pride and impulse—but that doesn’t mean she needs to endure abuse to be seen as a “strong character” or some kind of “redeemer” for him. That whole “taming the bad guy” trope just doesn’t work here, especially when the guy in question has manipulated her trust, endangered her life, tried to kill her, and taken advantage of her vulnerability time and time again.

Being a strong character doesn’t mean she has to sacrifice herself to “save” someone who’s shown again and again that he’s willing to hurt others for his own gain. Galadriel’s strength is in her resilience, her wisdom, and her fierce loyalty to those she loves, not in playing savior to a lost cause.

If anything, her strength is in recognizing when someone isn’t worth saving and standing her ground against them.

Seperti judul, tulisan ini akan membahas lagu-lagu di album terbarunya my husband DAY6. Bagi yg tidak berminat bisa langsung di scroll kenceng aja ke atas 😂 karena akan bertabur kebucinan dan ke-cringe-an yg membuat eww 👍

Dimulai dari lagu utamanya, yg mana juga ada MV-nya, Welcome to The Show. Tipe-tipe sing-along song banget apalagi pas dibawain di konser. Juga tipe lagu yg langsung nemplok di otak once you listen to it (lagu daesik mana yg gak nempel hellow?). Liriknya dibuka dengan "I'm so moved by the stage, that I won't be alone any longer.". Yap, YoungK banget udah ini yg nulis. Betapa senangnya dia bisa balik nge-band lagi, nyanyi bareng bocah-bocah lagi karena selama masa hiatus kemaren he was going solo to every show. Wonpil juga ada proyek covering lagu. Dowun mungkin latihan vokal ya, karena sempet ngeluarin lagu duet bareng penyanyi cewek. Sungjin sibuk manjangin rambut 😂Eeem mungkin beliau ngasah skill gitar elektrik ya, karena dulu kan megang gitar akustik dan Jae yang megang elektrik. Karena Jae my beloved human udah bersolo karir, Sungjin dah tu yang mengisi posisi gitar elektrik sekarang.

Naaah menurut selera musik gw, lagu ini tu easy-listening, tapi kayak belum Day6 banget. Masih normal, masih familiar dan cenderung ngikutin pasar. Ya allah maap maap kita bukan expert di bagian musik yak, ini mah sepenilaian aing aja yg memang sotoy ✌ Untuk tau the real Day6 tu harus kudu wajib nyelamin B-side mereka gengs. Dari pengalaman gw, lagu-lagu B-side mereka lah yg bikin gw jadi My Day. Soooo kita lanjut ke next song~

Urutan kedua judulnya The Power of Love. Langsung inget lagunya Celine Dion gak tuuu CAUSE I'M YOOURR LAAAAAAYDEEEEEE~~ AND YUWA MA MEEEEEEN~~ Tapi yang versi daesik ini musiknya nge-beat wkwkw bikin lu ngangguk-ngangguk cem anjing dashboard. Vibe-nya ceria, energetik, full of positivity. Line yg ear-catching itu pas bagian reff "You need the power of love, power of love..." Yaa, as you can guess, lagunya berkisah tentang lu tu butuh kekuatan cinta dalam menjalani hidup, gak ada yg gak mungkin kalo kita belajar mencintai hidup. Gitu gitu lah, dengan kata-kata magisnya YoungK. Bisa banget dengerin lagu ini pas lagi butuh disemangatin, pas mau bangkit lagi tapi you got no friends around. Biarin lagu ini jadi temen lu 👍

Next lagu ini udah pernah gw singgung sedikit di post sebelumnya. Lagu yg wajib gw curigain karena tidak se-happy musiknya atau se-happy judulnya. Iyak the title is Happy. Daaaaan kecurigaan gw terbukti. AMBYAAAAARRR 😭😭😭 Ini lagu kedua terbanyak yg gw sumpah serapahi karena GILE LU YANGKE BIKIN LAGU LIRIKNYA KEK BANGKE??? Meski belum nemu ya yg nulis lirik lagu ini tu siapa tapiiii biasanya si YoungK yg paling banyak kontribusi ke lirik dari semua lagu mereka. Padahal ini tempo beat nya lebih cepat dari The Power of Love tapi tapi tapi, desperate banget heran??? Line yg terngiang-ngiang di otak gw tu pas Sungjin nyanyi "Will there be such a day? The day when I find my dream. The day when I'm so happy I could scream at the sky." Trus reff nya yang seolah-olah bilang "Boleh gak sih gue bahagia? Senyum, ketawa, gak perlu khawatir. Please help me, gue cuma terduduk diam dan rasanya pengen nangis. Plis bilang kalo gue boleh bahagia." Selama reff itu ada harmoni piano yg bikin lu makin tersayat-sayat.

Ah skip. Alert banget lagu ini. Cocok buat yg mau tumpah sekebon karena merasa useless, diam di tempat, gak berhak bahagia, dll. Tapi abis itu udah yak, dengerin The Power of Love biar semangat lagi. Atau For Me boleh juga tu, lagu lama mereka. Tentang embracing yourself biar bisa strong lagi 😉

NEEEXT kita move on dari yg sedih-sedih padahal judulnya happy. Eh bentaaaaar. Judul Happy itu jadi semacam topeng gak sih? Manusia kan topengnya begitu ya, di luar tampak senyum, fine, ketawa, eh dalemnya kapal titanic??? Wah jenius sih. Parah daeziiikkk

NEEEEXT beneran next kita ke yg judulnya Get The Hell Out. This one is the real rock vibe, yang dari liriknya pun juga gak ada yg mencurigakan kek tadi. Sumpah ya, lagu-lagu day6 yg begini tu ngingetin sama MCR sih, nyatu banget vibe-nyaaa. Reff nya nagih, sumpah. Mana dinyanyiin Sungjin lagi, bahasa inggris pula 👏👏👏 "How nice this world could be to me... kalo aja orang ini ni TENGGELAM ke inti Bumi wuahahaha." Wkwkwk ya emang begitu gaes, ceritanya tentang kebencian mendalam ke seseorang (yg mungkin mantan) sampe yauda sih lu ke laut aje sana jadi bangke duyung, jangan ganggu hidup gw lagi. Begitu. Asik sih tetep lagunya.

NEXT ya allah gw nulis begini aja sampe satu jam-an. Kita kasih part 2 yak kalo rame ehe. Mimin belum mandi juga ini. Insyaallah abis magrib kita lanjut yaa~ masih ada lagu yg bikin geleng-geleng soalnya ckck.

Mylog: Buang Kucing

Meskipun lucu, menurut aink kucing tuh hewan yang problematik. Tingkat kelahiran kucing yang tinggi, terutama yang liar bebas tuh sering jadi masalah. Gimana engga, tiap beberapa bulan per satu betina hamil aja bisa beranak sampai empat.

Ga bisa diapa apain, karena emang kodratnya kayak gitu. Mending yang diurus sama induknya, ada kasus yang induknya pergi ga tau kemana ada juga yang anak2nya dibuang ga sama induknya.

Kejadian tuh kemarin di komplek. Ada yang buang anak kucing pinggir sawah. Masi kecil banget, baru bisa eok eok. Awalnya aink biarin aja pas lewat sana, tapi karena kepikiran aink cek lagi setelah sampai rumah.

Eh ternyata bener, bocil2 itu Uda melintas ke jalan dan hampir ketabrak sama pengendara motor. Motornya Ampe berhenti dulu buat kepinggirin bocil2nya.

Daripada ketabrak trus cacat atau mati jadi bangke, yauda aink bawa aja ke sawah belakang rumah mertua. Disana banyak ijuk sama pohon jagung yang Uda cukup tinggi. Biar kalo malem anget, kalo siang bisa neduh. Aink kasi makan seadanya disana.

Tapi sorenya mereka eok eok lagi, trus main sama anak2,. Trus nambah lagi satu ga tau darimana

Jadi total ada 3 anak kucing.

Masi kecil banget. Kemaren dikasi susu growsi pada ga mau, aink juga ga bisa dan ogah effort beli dan ngasi susu pake pipet🙄

Jadinya dikasi dryfood campur wetfood, sama sesekali tambah nasi 🙃. Mayan ga berisik banget karena perut mereka kenyang.

Ternyata, kata tetangga komplek ini tuh emang suka jadi tempat pembuangan kucing. Meskipun ga officially miara, orang sini pada suka ngasih makan, jadi ya Cocok aja kalo ada orang buang kucing kesini.

Cuman ya kalo terus2an asa gimana gitu. Mertua emang suka kucing, punya 2 kucing ras sama 1 kucing domestik yang ketiganya hidup di rumah. Aink bawa 1 dari bandung, si Omo. Sehari hari di luar, tapi kadang main di dalem.

Aink sih ngerasa kalo disini tuh Uda kebanyakan kucing. Aink sendiri kalo di teras, ya ngasi makan ke Omo doang, karena emang dia kucing aink. Dipiara dari kecil. Tapi ibu mertua suka ngasih ke semua kucing yang datang 🙃, jadinya ya banyak wae yang kesini. Duh

Oia, kucing ras ibu yang betina lagi hamil anaknya Omo. Kemungkinan bakal nambah lagi kucing disini ga tau tiga ato empat. Omaigot...

Boleh banget diambil asal diurus. Aink kemaren Uda beli makannya dan bikin kandang dari dus tebel, jadi selama belum ada yang ambil ya mau aink diurus dulu.

Keinget beberapa Minggu lalu, kucing betina dewasa penunggu rumah tukang galon mati diracun deket sawah. Posisi mayatnya ga jauh dari tempat pembuangan bocil2.

Sama aink dikuburin di lahan kosong Deket sini trus lapor ke tukang galonnya. Suami istri itu ternyata emang suka ngasih makan dan sesekali ngebiarin kucing betina itu masuk, jadi pas tau kucingnya mati diracun agak sedih juga. Mana kucingnya lagi hamil

Beberapa hari setelah kucingnya aink kuburin, aink beli galon. Eh tukang galonnya malah ngasih duit🙄, makasih Uda mau nguburin kucingnya cenah

Itu kedua kalinya aink ngubur kucing. Not a good life experience,..

Makanya aink mikir, kalo anak kucing tanpa induk dan tanpa ada orang buat ngeadopt mending dilepas ke sawah aja ga sih. Siapa tau dimakan ular sawah.

Pendapat aink pasti banyak kontranya di kalangan pecinta kucing. Tapi ya realistis aja, apa sanggup semua kucing betina liar disteril? Apa bisa kucing dewasa siap kawin dikasih kondom pas mau kopulasi?

Jadi, daripada mati kelaparan atau ketabrak dan jadi bangkai mending jadi nutrisi buat hewan lain aja ga sih😀
