Mario

Mario leads, I simply grab his sleeve and he is free to drag me wherever. Occasionally, he'll pick me up if we've traveled somewhere pretty distant from the Mushroom Kingdom.

Maru

Dragging Maru around while having an autism-to-autism communication moment, holding hands whenever we're in town, and begrudgingly separating whenever we enter her house because of her dad. 😔

Letting her follow me into the mines so she can collect data is fun, though it always ends up with me having to carry her back to her house on my back.

Pesci

Technically, Proscuitto leads. Because of unfortunate timing, I always end up appearing and walking with Pesci hand-in-hand when they're outside, although Pesci is following his brother. It's no big deal; unless they're busy, I can just turn off my brain and follow Pesci around for however long my schedule allows!

Barring bathrooms...

Abbacchio

If he isn't busy then he'll follow me around the town, being in each other's presence is good enough, but he tends to melt a bit whenever I grab his hand or pull on his belt buckle so we don't bump into anything or anyone.

Although there are cases when I'm following him, it's fun to see him start getting flustered when I cling to his arm.

Who 'leads' and who 'follows' when you two are absent-mindedly walking together? Does the 'leader' gently tug or guide the other around puddles or potholes? Do you walk side-by-side or does the 'follower' follow from more behind? Do yall interlock hands or arms so it's easier?
