- Bokuto absolutely love love loves that you enjoy cheerleading! He’s pretty much always hungry and knows what you like, so he frequently picks up some chicken sandwiches from your favorite restaurant and two slices of cheesecake from a local bakery on his way! - I don’t really see Bokuto as a big reader, he doesn’t hate it or anything but it’s just never really caught his attention and he’s so busy that he just doesn’t often have time to pick up a book and relax. When you two start spending the night together more often, though, sometimes if there’s a book you’re really into he’ll let you read it aloud to him before bed and gets invested into the plot with you, or if you ask him to read a specific book, he does his best to (slowly) listen to the audiobook in his free time!

- Honestly I could see Bokuto being really into k-pop as well! He loves either bright bubblegum concepts or super aggressive, energetic ones (I can see him loving a lot of “noise music” songs, as someone who loves that kind of music myself lol) and whether or not he can dance, sometimes he tries practicing some of the choreography as a work-out if he doesn’t feel up to going to the gym some days! He’s also the perfect concert buddy, he gets so excited and loves singing along and doing all the fanchants alongside you!

- Bokuto very much has the same extroverted, bubbly/energetic and sometimes chaotic vibes that you do once you’re comfortable with someone, so the two of you match each other’s energy really well :D You’re the first person he goes to when he’s excited about something because he knows you’ll be just as giddy and excited as he is, and he just feels so happy and hyped up whenever he’s around you because you manage to return that same energy and excitement back to him!

- Though he’s a total sweetheart, Bokuto also doesn’t tolerate rude or disrespectful people in any form. In my DR, I have a loving but distant family. They care for my, but due to an argument I had with them when I was 16, we don’t talk much. They check up on me, but know that I prefer to just do my own thing and trust me to tell them if something is wrong.

Vash is also a big cuddler and understands having trouble keeping connections with people!! He's always moving so he gets sad thinking about all the people he wanted to grow closer too.

IN DEFENSE OF: Rambling

I wish to meet an ENFP. I think I have but I cannot be sure since we do not hang out more than necessary. I have been told on the great internet that they are the rambliest of them all-- I want to be the judge of that.

I have an ENTP friend and you know how Ne doms will ramble on and on and my Ni brain just does its best to understand that directionless train of thoughts. I also have INFP and INTP friends that have treated me as their transcriber since I leave them with the warmth of: "I won't judge you, just keep talking."

Again, these are claims that I don't wish to call myself, it is them that tell me that.

In other words, Ne users have not wasted my time with their rambling. It must be because I expect them to or something about being in the listener's seat or the observer's chair is so nice to me. I'd rather have these Ne users be themselves when they are with me, I don't enjoy being the loud and rambling one.

Other than my own preferences, even as an Ni-dom, I think rambling is important. It might even be akin to stretching before an exercise. If we are to stretch our jumbled and jampacked ideas, laying them flat, then we can see them clearer and say it again ourselves.

Enforcing clarity, cohesion, and brevity in a conversation is futile and rude. Coming from the stereotypical manifestation of social incompetence, arrogance and rudeness that people aptly call INTJ, us saying something is rude certainly must mean something.

I'd rather have anyone of any type ramble than be so clear, coherent, and briefly precise with their words that our conversation did not just end but outright murdered.

My close ENTP friend and I have both agreed that letting the other ramble to make themselves coherent by the end of it is more gratifying.

The stereotype of ENTPs always wanting to be right is also wrong, I mean, no one wants to be wrong but that does not mean everyone always wants to be correct, right? ENTPs just ramble and ramble about what they know but they are not against being corrected. Even ESTPs. The ESTP I know was very understanding when told they had said something offensive afterwards.

I just find it hypocritical of me to cut someone off or to accuse someone of being rude if I had not considered all the sides I could.

All of this to really say, rambling is not bad. I'd rather have someone talk and talk than give me absolutely nothing or a single worded answer. Those who don't ramble on and on would rather keep themselves tight lipped than not, so I would rather not waste both our time and force them to speak. I can also handle silence pretty well.

I just feel bad for those that kept apologizing to me for rambling as if it was a bad thing in the first place. I have this INTJ friend that yaps and yaps but unlike the Ne users I have mentioned, this INTJ has a clear direction and distinct purpose for everything they say. Even other Ni doms that I have met an ENFJ and INFJ that both really have little words or descriptions they are willing to give. I can work with that, I won't let them say things they do not want to say.

However, I am no benevolent and unlimitedly understandable being, if someone rambles and I let them ramble to me when I cannot take any rambling that day, I may snap.

I try not to but being on a receiving end of anything, it takes strength. Patience and restraint takes a lot of strength and I can have times where I am out of strength.

All this to really say the harsh reality of rambling is that it cannot always be the way we talk to people, it does take space, take effort, take energy to be the receiving end of it but it is not always unwelcome. Sometimes, to make sense of things, people must ramble. But also, sometimes people would want others to be clear and pointed with what they say.

This is honestly why my ISTJ friend never replies to me unless they can spare 3 hours because of my tendency to deep dive and inviting way to have them ramble is insane. Though I'd appreciate a note of "I don't have 3 hours but thanks for sharing."
