The hate hazbin fans have been getting is actually crazy (cough, specifically from tiktok, cough)
Like there's a clip that's been trending of a Youtuber Morgan Terry, that has them reacting to Angels S/A scene and crying, and people are making fun of them for it??? I've seen people harass them and even purposefully misgender them, calling them she, or even worse "it"
Like oh if it was your favorite character you would cry about it too, but suddenly because it's from a thing you don't like suddenly all emotions towards that show are invalid
Like why are they watching people reacting to hazbin anyways, you shouldn't care what other people like, it's their choice, and whatever you like is your choice, trust me, just because someone is actually feeling emotions towards something they like doesn't mean the universe will fucking explode
Right! I’ve especially seen kpop stans take that clip to replace the episode they were reacting to with a kpop m/v… some of my mutuals have done it and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. ESPECIALLY since kpop stans also used to be viewed as “losers” for enjoying the music, we are on the same boat, let’s not act like you’re superior now. I 100% think that if the person in that clip was conventionally attractive and was reacting to something less hated there would not have been as many memes made about it. The normalization of bullying on that app has completely chased me off it, and i’d much rather have discussions here than with rage-baiting loser trolls.
Regardless of wether Viv is problematic or not, Hazbin and Helluva will get hated on because people see it as “cringe” and they cannot stand to see something new become a shared interest for a lot of people. They do it in the name of chastising a problematic creator (who, by the way, has done far less than the things she’s getting blamed for) but won’t account the young teenagers just trying to enjoy a show. Every media is somewhat problematic if we only look at it with the thought of wanting to criticize it, so this picking and choosing looks really dumb and hypocritical imo. Let people fucking enjoy stuff, that, for the 50th time, is not harming anyone.

sometimes I think abt my characters and what they'd be doing on social media
Isaac very obviously has a consistent presence on the internet bc modern him is a YouTuber/content creator (I hate the term influencer with a passion), but Edgar is an anomaly. No presence. Nothing. He only shows up in the backgrounds of Isaac's photos mid-movement like a cryptid. He isn't even intentionally avoiding them, he just does not use social media AT ALL. He probably wouldn't use YouTube all that much, either, outside of editing for Isaac. At most he has a LinkedIn. Yes, he's a computer programmer. Yes, he also is completely baffled by the internet. All he knows is use Adblock and order expensive parts from websites. He uses Linux and Firefox and he will get into an argument with his loved ones if he sees they're still using Google Chrome. It's not that he doesn't use these things- he just doesn't post and doesn't have any accounts.
RAE is probably like Isaac- he is Very Much There online. I think he'd be less terminally online, though. He still takes a lot of time to unplug, and most of his life exists outside of the framing of online spaces. He DOES create very aesthetically appealing pictures of food and himself, though.
Orange... I can only really see her using it to advertise and network for her business. At most, she picked up Tinder Once, got annoyed after the first few matches, and uninstalled the app. She loves services like Spotify, though. And stuff like Audible... Orange definitely binges a lot of books while she's busy drafting patterns and sewing. She likes to leave the music on low in the background while she talks to Billy as she works, too :]
Red is also Old Man like Eddie and doesn't use any social media. His big fat thumbs are too big to use a phone. Unlike Eddie, though, he thinks The Social Medias are melting people's minds and back when I was a kid we played outside and on arcade cabinets blah blah blah. He likes his tablet, though. It makes it easier to pull up funny videos.
Coda... Twitter shitposter. Definitely uses Tumblr, too. They don't give out much personal information, but people think they're hot (they generally stay in sapphic circles) and funny. Probably has a travel blog or smth like that on top of his normal social media. He totally uses Instagram and likes posting pictures of him nd his toddler traveling.
Maddison (modern them) is PEAK shitposter, though; they're addicted to Tiktok and Twitch and are lowkey trying to become a creator. They're on the brink of a big depressive episode when they graduate high school so the internet becomes one of the only things that make them happy. Basically, they're like most of us on here BIXGGIYDGIBJ.
Mint and Indigo are probably lurkers.. They don't really post much of anything, but they enjoy stuff like Twitter and YouTube and Twitch passively. They aren't diehard fans or anything; they like the occasional 6 hour long video essay about some show from the early 2000s.

The latest TikTok trend might make your bank account happy.
Over the last month, beauty influencers ― a group that generally sings the praises of makeup and skin care brands ― have dabbled in deinfluencing. The trend involves TiKTokers urging followers to think twice about impulse-purchasing certain cult-favorite products.
Content creators are throwing everything under the bus, including untouchable, holy-grail products like Olaplex’s shampoos and conditioners and Too Faced’s Better Than Sex volumizing mascara. They’re also warning against spending money on majorly expensive products like Dyson’s $599.99 Airwrap hair styler.
“Here are all the things I will deinfluence you from buying as somebody that spends thousands of dollars on health, beauty, hair products, but loves to save a buck,” TikToker Alyssa Kromelis says in her deinfluencing video, which has racked up over 5.4 million views.
In the video, Kromelis suggests dupes for more expensive products she says are not worth the hype. For instance, she recommends buying Wet n Wild’s MegaGlo Makeup Stick ($4.99 at your local drugstore) instead of Charlotte Tilbury’s $42 Glowgasm Beauty Light Wand Highlighter. (“Horrible, I hate this, never use,” the influencer says of the product.)
Kromelis considers videos like hers “recession-core influencing.” When the price of eggs has increased by nearly 60% over the last 12 months, most of your followers aren’t looking to buy $30 lipgloss; the content you’re creating has to fit with the times, she said.
“As our economy in the U.S. has taken a turn for the worse, people have less and less disposable income to spend on their personal care,” she said. “So by offering more affordable options, or dupes, I’m allowing people to still feel like they’re still part of trends that are going on.”
The same day Kromelis’ video took off on TikTok, beauty content creator @katiehub.org went viral on the app for her brutally honest review of Dior makeup.
“Just because you put pretty packaging over garbage does not mean it’s still not garbage,” @katiehub.org says in her video, which brought in 1.8 million views.
In another deinfluencing video, beauty influencer Rachel Finley walks the aisles of Sephora, dragging beloved items that she says don’t actually work.
“It’s time to leave sunscreen powders in the past,” Finley says, holding up Supergoop’s mineral powder sunscreen as an example. “You’re getting less than 2% of the protection stated on the label. These are not effective sunscreens.”
Non-makeup content creators are getting involved, too. In one video, sustainable fashion influencer Hudi Charin (@thethriftythinker) takes Kim Kardashian’s Skims to task.
“I don’t know why anyone’s still buying from Skims when there are so many better, ethical and sustainable alternatives and they’re literally the same price point,” she says, recommending brands like The Girlfriend Collective and Gaia Garments instead.
“There are literally so many brands that need your support more than a billionaire who doesn’t pay her workers when they work overtime,” she remarks.
The “deinfluencing” trend coincides with MascaraGate ― a TikTok kerfuffle centered around Mikayla Nogueira, a makeup artist who was accused of wearing eyelash extensions in a video touting a L’Oréal brand mascara.
MascaraGate led to a conversation about influencer culture and the glut of fawning, too-good-to-be-true product reviews on TikTok. Critics say content creators will happily put up a dishonest positive product review as long as they’re rewarded with brand deals, sponsorship and a steady stream of freebies.
Given the backlash to influencer culture, marketing professor Americus Reed II isn’t surprised by the deinfluencer trend.
“What we often see in marketing, which is deeply integrated with pop culture, is a constant pendulum of trend and counter trend; an ebb and flow such that when one consumer sentiment goes extreme, there’s a natural course correction to move the other way and towards the ‘middle,’” the Wharton School professor told HuffPost.
The deinfluencer movement is influencer culture self-regulating and course-correcting after years of being clocked as super-curated and lacking in authenticity.
“It’s like the TikTok version of when Dove’s ‘Real Beauty’ campaign dropped [in the early 2000s],” Reed said.
Isn’t deinfluencing a little hypocritical, coming from influencers?
Influencers admit that the concept of deinfluencing is kind of ironic: At its heart, “buy this, don’t buy that” is still influencing and driving consumerism.
Plus, telling someone something is “the worst” isn’t going to be true for everyone, as Kromelis noted.
“I do think the deinfluencing trend is less about how ‘bad’ or ‘good’ a product is, and more about convincing people that not everything is worth the crazy hype,” she said.
Anything that helps people monitor their conspicuous consumption can’t be that bad, said Karen Wu, a beauty content creator who goes by @cakedbybabyk on TikTok.
“We’re constantly fed the rhetoric that everyone needs every single viral product, and audiences are growing tired,” she told HuffPost. “I’ve made several videos on my channel talking about a range of products that I hate, as well as viral products that I won’t even try.”
Wu spends a few hundred dollars a month on makeup and skin care, while the other products she reviews are sent from brands.
“I know that talking about consumerism is ironic coming from a beauty content creator, but I believe there’s a delicate balance that can be struck if done correctly,” she said.
Do influencers like Wu worry that brands might be less inclined to reach out with partnerships and freebies if they’re hypercritical of them?
“I actually think the opposite, to be completely honest,” she said. “There are many brands that value authenticity, and if they don’t, then it’s not a brand that I’d want to work with anyway.”
Madison Potter, an influencer and brand strategist, said smart brands will look at deinfluencing as an opportunity for consumer research, something they’d usually spend thousands of dollars on.
“As a strategist, this information is a goldmine,” she told HuffPost. “Deinfluencing is unique in the way that creators are directly telling brands there’s a lack of trust. It’s a chance for brands to listen to consumers and adjust their marketing efforts.”
Some PR specialists and brand strategists are a little more skeptical.
Alex Paquin, the founder of the ad agency Zerotrillion, told Insider.com that brands may be more cautious about vetting influencers they reach out to.
“Brands have to ask themselves, ‘What is this influencer’s propensity to turn on us in the event that their followers don’t like the content they make for us?’” Paquin told the site. “Influencers need to be careful not to be too quick to use this trend as an ‘oopsie button’ for partnerships they’re mildly self-conscious about.”
Ideally, deinfluencing leads to people getting more educated about influencer culture.
For some content creators, this moment is more about education than about what not to buy or what dupes to swap in.
Monica Ravichandran, a product manager and beauty content creator, wants her followers to give some thought to who they let influence them on TikTok and question whether a cult-beloved product is really worth their hard-earned coin.
In her deinfluencing video, she suggests people ask questions of themselves like: Do I really need to buy this hot new viral foundation when I already own one that works just fine for me? And does this influencer have the same skin type or tone as me? (As a person of color, Ravichandran said she was swayed to buy the wrong products while following mostly white content creators early on her in makeup journey.)
Ravichandran, who gets some freebies but spends about $500 a month on beauty products, also talks about the need for “influencer integrity.”
“To me, influencer integrity means a creator who has built trust and honesty with their community by building a brand based off of authenticity,” Ravichandran told HuffPost.
Not everything is “amazing” or “awful.” It’s usually more nuanced than that ― experiences with any one product will vary.
“I actually don’t believe in a ‘bad product’ and really just believe that the product wasn’t a right one for either your skin tone or our skin type,” Ravichandran said. “That’s why when I review products I don’t like I always mention who that product might work for instead.”
Jessica Clifton, a sustainability content creator who runs the TikTok account @impaectforgood_ , doesn’t necessarily think the trend will result in a massive sea change on the app: “TikTok culture loves product videos too much.”
Still, as someone who has been speaking about the ills of overconsumption culture for years, she said it’s exciting to thousands of people engage with deinfluencing. In the words of overgenerous TikTok reviews, it truly is “amazing” if people are inspired to buy less, Clifton said.
“Embracing simplicity and learning to be content with less is so much better for our mental health, wallets, and the environment.”

Have you had more hot or cold drinks today? More of cold. I will say though(!!!) I've recently...turned a shift towards hot coffee? Like this is not bad at all??? I've been having hot mugs all week long and it may very well grow to become a new habit of mine.
What's a name you like that's similar to yours? There aren't a lot of names that bear a similarity to Robyn per se, but in the sense that it's unisex I am generally a fan of such names – like Stevie, Frankie, Dylan, Billie/Billy...
Where did you get the last plate/bowl you ate with from? I don't know, these were the plates we've had from the day we moved in here. I'm guessing they were bought by my parents at some mall.
How's your mental health today? It is very stable and I can tell you it's because I don't have to think about work until Friday.
What bands and artists did you listen to when you were a teenager? Mainly Paramore, but there was a lot of punk rock in there as well. Rancid, H2O, The Bouncing Souls, Against Me!, The Misfits...I don't listen to them nearly as much anymore but I'll always have a soft spot for each of them and for that phase in my life.
Do your feelings get hurt easily? Yes, I'm quite sensitive.
What sort of restaurant did you last eat at? Well it was a Chili's, so. American and a bit of Mexican in there if I understood their concept correctly lol? Anyway, it was my first time eating there too and tbh I had had a high standard because of its price range, only to not be impressed. Why is it even so expensive there? They serve exactly the same stuff you'd find everywhere else.
Do you have a friend who's always sending you TikTok videos? Do you actually watch them? Kata used to send me TikTok videos until she stopped because I never was on the app, lol. Angela would still send me some occasionally, though.
Have you ever seen a cougar in the wild? Never.
Will you attend a wedding in the next 3 months? Unless I get an invitation from today, no.
Are you good at following instructions? They have to be written/printed out otherwise I'd forget instantly.
What's your backyard or outdoor area like? It's clean and plain, but we don't really do things there. We prefer to entertain guests in the living room or at the rooftop.
Do you like your boss? (or your last boss if you don't currently have one) Bea has always been a fantastic superior and mentor to me from the day I stepped in the workplace, which is why I'm gutted that she's leaving any day now. My personal work morale has been low ever since she announced the news and I still haven't figured out how I'm supposed to manage everything and everyone once she's actually out the door.
When was the last time you took a selfie? Does it count if it's a mirror selfie? I took a few ones at the salon earlier this afternoon when I was getting my hair dyed.
What did you have for breakfast yesterday? Fried rice with egg and ham bits.
What do you do to entertain yourself on a long flight or journey? I would download several YouTube videos in advance so I can watch them while offline.
Where are you right now? I'm at the rooftop but I literally am gonna pack up and go back to my room after this question because holy fuck does my back hurt.
Have you ever done a hearing test? Continued a whole day after. I don't think I have.
Do you hate small talk? Depends on how it goes. I'm pretty good with small talk but you can only do so much if the other person is too shy or is stingy with their responses. If I sense that they're not into conversing then I stop.
What's the hottest temperature your current town/city has ever had? There's no confirmed record for the hottest temperature in my city. I'm gonna guess somewhere between 40-45ºC though as summers can get brutal.
What programs/applications do you currently have open on the device you're using right now? I have Chrome, Spotify, and Notes.
How many steps per day do you do, generally? Hahahaha. I work from home and don't exercise so the average is less than 100 a day, embarrassingly enough. It's a different story when I get the chance to be outside because I do like to catch up on my steps; for days like those I would average anywhere between 8,000 to 10,000.
Have you had any snacks today? Yeah I had a couple bags of my favorite sweet corn chips. It's not as bad as it sounds – the bags are *really* tiny so that's why I had to have two of them lol.
Did you have any exchange students at your high school or university and did you become friends with them? We probably had batches of them come and go in college but I never did recognize them. My university has a huge population and it would've been impossible to know every single student.
What's the next thing you'll tick off your to-do list? It's a holiday tomorrow but I need to do a bit of work here and there just so I'm not completely stacked by Friday.
Have you ever had a chia pet? No.
What's your favourite sandwich filling? Pulled pork.
Do you have any nieces or nephews? Nopes.
What was the last reason you saw a doctor? Dog bite.
Do you use light mode or dark mode on your phone? It's been on dark mode for as long as I've had it.

Tubbo: "Designated driver"? Am I the designated driver?
Ranboo: You cannot drive
Tubbo: Is this because I don't drink?
Ranboo: You just cannot drive
Tubbo: Yo, how ghosty are you? *puts phone to Ranboo's neck*
Tubbo: *Ranboo receives a notification* Oh. Well..
Ranboo: You got a notification as soon as you did that. So pretty ghosty I think. Alright, what's my ghost word?
Tubbo: Maybe if I just flip it upside down
Ranboo: No no no no, what's my ghost word? Let's put it, like, on me. What's my ghost word?

Tubbo: You're "along", I'm "designate"
Ranboo: "Designate along". What does that mean?
Tubbo: Designate along..
Ranboo: At first I thought it said "among" and I was about to lose my mind. I was so excited for a second there
Tubbo: I really want to go inside now. Can we stop playing now?
Ranboo: No no no no no! Ok, here, let's use the radio one, alright? Let's use the radio one. Oh, I immediately get a negative.. sign
Tubbo: No, that's because I flipped off the ghost
Ranboo: Flip off the ghost some more, I wanna see what happens
Tubbo: Noo, no I don't want to. I feel like I've got spiders all over me. Ow
Ranboo: Come on! I want to be the one who got possessed, why is it you! Gosh darn it!
Tubbo: I'm not possessed
Ranboo: You sure? You're feeling spiders on yourself. That's kinda.. you know..
Tubbo: Maybe there's just spiders in your dress
Ranboo: I don't know! Let's start another seance thing. Let's do that, ok? Let's do it
Tubbo: *whining*
Ranboo: What is your name or are you here, answer one of those, I do not know.. Let us see
Ranboo: Are you here? Why are there so many bugs on the pentagram. There's like an unearthly amount of- There's actually so many.. Get the bugs off the [unintelligible]
Tubbo: Because bugs are attracted to light
Ranboo: Are you here?
Ranboo: I don't- It's just not moving anymore. You have angered it a lot
Tubbo: Nooo, I'm sorry
Ranboo: You realise as soon as you said it, it, like, turned it off
Ranboo: Do something! Please! Alright, you know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna take some recommendations from chat on what shall we do. Let take some recommendations on chat, alright?
Tubbo: I don't want to..
Ranboo: "Among us". "Tubbo is possessed let's go"
Tubbo: I'd better not- If I'm possessed dude, I'm kicking you out of my house. Go somewhere else. Go get a hotel, I don't care
Ranboo: Dude, if you get possessed, that gives me ever more reason to stay because that means I get to live with a possessed person which is awesome!
Tubbo: Noo. If I get possessed, I wanna be left alone! I wanna be left alone!
Ranboo: Which is awesome. Alright, "Say goodbye to the demon"? No, I want the demon here. I wanna fight it. I wanna fight the demon. "Tell the demon to buy merch". So true, I love the VIPs in my chat.
Tubbo: I.. am.. unhappy
Ranboo: "Put salt"? *gasp* We should put salt on him.. and see what happens
Tubbo: No
Ranboo: Hmm... Hmm... "Ever since it counted down it stopped working". That is true, you did kinda..
Tubbo: I broke it
Ranboo: You did kinda- "Ask it to scratch one of you". Scratch one of us! Scratch me! Scratch me! That would be awesome
Tubbo: *punches Ranboo*
Ranboo: That was just a punch and that hurt!
Tubbo: Good. I'm not having a good time
Ranboo: Ow! O-Ow... That a-Ow.. wow
Tubbo: I mean, to be fair, it hurt me more than you. I punched with my thumb on the inside of my hand
Ranboo: Oh that was just your fault
Tubbo: Ow.. Yeah
Ranboo: Scratch me! Scratch me! Fight me, actually! Punch me, perhaps. But not like that *points at Tubbo* You notice how as soon as I asked the demon to harm me, you punched me? *staring at Tubbo* You know w- *camera glitches and cuts off audio*
Tubbo: I don't wanna be possessed
Ranboo: "Get a professional"? I am a professional. Right? Right?
Tubbo: I need holy water
Ranboo: *audio cuts off* What do you want me to do?
Tubbo: *laughs* Boil the hell out of some water *camera and audio glitch again*
Ranboo: What do you want me to do? People are saying "lag" *stream lag*
Ranboo: Ok, that worked. That actually worked as soon as I said that. I am so powerful. Ahh man
Tubbo: I don't wanna be a demon!
Ranboo: Well.. kinda too late for me at least
Tubbo: I don't wanna be a demon!
Ranboo: How do you think I became so popular on content creation in such little time?
Tubbo: By using the- No I can't- I'm under an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) I can't say..
Ranboo: Stop saying that I'm an industry plant and just say-
Tubbo: You're an industry plant!
Ranboo: I would rather be called a demon than an industry plant
Tubbo: You're an industry plant
Ranboo: I'm not an industry plant. That is not true. That is not true
Tubbo: Oh grey screen is back
Ranboo: It went grey again? I'm gonna- Ok we're fine
Tubbo: It only does it for like two seconds. Relax, holy crap
Ranboo: But the thing is though, like-
Tubbo: What's that Harry Styles song about the watermelon? *starts dancing*
Ranboo: What does that have anything- I'm explaining to you how I'm a demon
Tubbo: Maybe the demon likes songs. Wait, I wanna play a song to the demon
Ranboo: Oh wait! Yeah let's play a song to the demon
Tubbo: Wait, no, let me pick! I wanna pick one
Ranboo: Let's play a song to the demon
Tubbo: Um.. Ok! Does the demon like "Airplane Mode" *jamming*
Ranboo: I have something. Now, here, ok. You've got yours. Now let me play my song to the demon. *white noise*
Tubbo: *starts singing Boom Boom Pow by the Black Eyed Peas* When the beat drops, gotta get that that that that. Boom boom boom, gotta get that. Boom boom boom gotta get that *dancing*
Ranboo: So how come you enjoy this? Why do you suddenly enjoy this when I'm playing the music that's meant for the demon?
Tubbo: Stooop! I was just joking
Ranboo: The evidence is piling up, ladies and gentlemen. Tubbo is possessed, I think
Tubbo: I am not!
Ranboo: The evidence is kinda piling up quite a bit actually
Tubbo: Leave me alone! I'm not possessed!
Ranboo: Quite a good amount!
Tubbo: Stop saying I'm possessed
Ranboo: So how come you keep doing things that the demon- that I'm asking the demon to do
Tubbo: I literally just did a TikTok dance
Ranboo: Yeah, 'cause I said that the demon would like the music
Tubbo: The demon wouldn't have done that. The demon would've not "hit the woah" or the weird Q&A thing (ref: The "Questions I get Asked" TikTok dance)
Ranboo: Who do you think- Who do you think invented those things? Demons on TikTok
Tubbo: *gasp* What?!
Ranboo: Yeah, that's right. TikTok is run by demons
Tubbo: TikTok demons? Tik-emons?
Ranboo: TikTok is run by demons
Tubbo: I'm not possessed dude. They're all saying that I'm possessed
Ranboo: You might be.. You could be
Tubbo: I'm not possessed
Ranboo: No, out of either of us, honestly, I would be the one to be possessed.. Honestly.. I already am *stares at camera*
Tubbo: Heeughh.. I'm sus!
Ranboo: *does hands gestures* Yeah
Tubbo: This is comfy!
Ranboo: I mean, the thing- Wow so you're saying that my merch that comes out on September 5th is quite comfortable? Wow, what a great review from Tubbo himself!
Tubbo: Oh *facepalms* It also smells of sweat
Ranboo: No, it does not! I know it doesn't
Tubbo: *sniffs Ranboo's hoodie*
Ranboo: It does not
Tubbo: How sweaty are you? *keeps sniffing*
Ranboo: I'm not at all! He's just trying to slander me!
Tubbo: *intensely sniffing hoodie* It does smell like you though. Everything that you touch gets that "you" smell. It's kinda weird..
Ranboo: That's really really weird actually
Tubbo: Like..
Ranboo: I think you may be possessed honestly
Tubbo: No!
Ranboo: How do you have a sense of smell that does-
Tubbo: No, I'm not even kidding! Where you sit on my sofa, you make the area of my sofa where you slept smell like you, and I'm like *sniffs hoodie* Eugh!
Ranboo: *silent*
Tubbo: *pats Ranboo* No, you don't smell that bad. It's ok! There there
Ranboo: *moves arms away and stares at Tubbo*
Tubbo: I'm not a demon!
Ranboo: No, I'm not doing that because I think you're a demon. I'm doing that just because it's.. weird. Just incredibly weird
Tubbo: What? No.. Sympathy pats?
Ranboo: No sympathy pats
Tubbo: Oh..
Ranboo: No more
Tubbo: Oh I just got a text message from TommyInnit. All will be ok
Ranboo: That was in a group chat
Tubbo: Wait, who the hell is this?
Ranboo: That was in a group chat so..
Tubbo: Wait..
Ranboo: That was in a group chat.. That's kinda sad that you said you got a text from TommyInnit but it was just in a group chat. So that's kinda sad..
Tubbo: Do you know that number?
Ranboo: Nope!
Tubbo: Uh oh..
Ranboo: Anyway.. "Ask the demon if he likes the Dream SMP"? Will do. Do you like Dream SMP?
Tubbo: How big is your willy?
Ranboo: It said yes!
Tubbo: Did it actually?
Ranboo: The tree demon is a Dream SMP enjoyer! Woo! Welp, and now it's just spelling out words. "S" "T" "O" "P" "W" "H". "Stop while".. "Stop while you".. "Stop while you can"!
Tubbo: I.. really hate-

Ranboo: My phone... my phone!

Ranboo: It's going on its own

Ranboo: Can you at least grab me my phone?
Tubbo: Yeah.. I'm done
Ranboo: You're done? What do you mean you're done?
Tubbo: Why did it just say "No"? It said "no", I'm not done *scared*. I am done! Leave me alone!

A Day of Curation
Unless its Wednesday, it should be around 11am right now when i get up. First things first, put in my headphones and go get some good music! Its Monday - time to listen to my Discover Weekly playlist, which Spotify usually tailors perfectly to my tastes.
Tumblr media
1. 🎶 SPOTIFY 🎶
Fun fact - this weeks "Discover Weekly" suggs. Usually I get the best music from there. I don't really recall the last time any of my friends really showed a song I didn't already know or was adequately good. Tho, I have to give Amelie some credit here, she constanly hits me with great Spanish tunes. (Also to Jasi and Safae which hit me up with some dope music from time to time) I mostly get inspiration from (sad to say but its true) tik tok or by randomly shazaming the world. I also really hate to limit myslfe to music i understand. On the contrary I LOVE LOVE LOVE music arround the world. Trust me i hear Tibetian Throat Singing to Russian Electro and even Islandic and Nativ American Tribal Music. To give you an impression of how important music consumption is for me:
Last Year i spent a total of 210 441 minutes on spotify alone. That is about 9 Hours a day. The average person uses Spotify for about 18 000 minutes a year. (My friend took the freedom to calculate how much money Spotify "looses" by my consumption. i pay $30 a year an Spotify gives $0,004891 per stream to the creator. An average of 3 minutes per song (70.000 streams) means spotify pays $342.37 to the creators. Thats $312.37 of deficit LOL)
Apart form that i cant really give Spotify a certain schedule when i listen to it cuz i listen to it all the time. During gaming, during coding, laundry, gym, work, class, before sleep. ✨Always✨
Tumblr media
2. 💬 WhatsApp 💬
There is nothing better than sleeping for an eternity while everyone is already awake for probably 4 or more hours, working! *laughs in privileged design student* Since everyone is already living its live while I still drool, I gotta get up to date in the morning. Before i even leave bed, i checke my messages there. Similar to Spotify, I use WhatsApp the whole day and can't really tell when I would not use it. Except, my phone is always on silent (casual zennial phone call phobia) meaning i wont notice anything while zoning out or gaming (which usualy is the same).

3. 👨‍🏫 TEAMS 👩‍🏫
Yeah Yeah i can already hear it. "You wake up 5 minutes before class withouth breakfast or anything..." - bla bla bla. Yeah that is the case! I would usuly go on teams and enter the classroom, while preparing a breakfast (if you can call it breakfast after 12) sit down at my desk and listen to class. Causally everything that is too theoretical with music and whatsapp. Other classes that are interesting I`ll put my full attention to it.
But i hate teams in gerneral. Not cuz its sh**, no, usualy people that do their clases there have a weird way of using it. Finding material or looking up homeworks is such a struggle sometimes. (Props to you Kevin here, I have never seen anybody using teams in such a clean and struktured way than you do. Even tho you dont neccesarily use it as it was meant to be. (which might be the turning point on why its great))

4. 📺 YouTube 📺
Yup YouTube is usually the place to go after (sometimes during (I NEVER SAID THAT!)) class.
Actually, YouTube is the place to go for me. Relaxation, Entertainment, knowledge - anything! After class I'd usually watch "Cut" or other channels that produce let's plays or entertainment of some sort.
But it's also THE place to go during coding. I rather listen to Lofi or (Slowed, Reverbed) Music that doesnt really distract me. ALSO, during coding watch A SH*TLOAD OF TUTORIALS, cuz I am proud selftaught Zennial. #BestOfBothWorlds

5. 👨‍🍳 CHEFKOCH 👨‍🍳
I love to try new things and I constantly stalk the web for new recipes. Lately a lot of Asian and Vegan stuff. Chefkoch is the app to go where i also write down my own recipes to have them with me all the time. Great thing here is, i share this account with all my family members (currently 13, including my mom, aunts, other relatives). Great way to share the secret family recipes at any time!
(Cant recommend the recipe in the img, tho!)

6.🏐 ADDIDAS TRAINING🏐
Unlike all my sporty friends that used to hit the gym before covid and not got lazy, I started to use Training Apps like Addidas Training with its free Workout plans. I use it regularly and am happy i finally found a way to stay sporty.
Tumblr media
7. ⌨️ VS CODE ⌨️
Its either Visual Studio Code, where I would code on my current project, or gaming. As mentioned above, I would get most of the inspiration from tutorials or using dev tools on different platforms.
Tumblr media
8. 🎤 DISCORD 🎮
I´ll use Discord as a general term for Gaming since I play a lot but many different games, tho, always use discord to communicate with my freinds while gaming.
A great place to share random BS with friends and talk about anything that comes to my mind. I spent most of the evenings on Discord with my friends. Always did, in fact. Maybe the reason why I don't really feel so affected by the pandemic. I am used to being separated from my friends since they live all over Germany or the world in general. I always enjoy Online Live Events WITH my friends.
For me the web as always been a "with" not an "alone", which is why I never understand why so may struggle with feeling "alone" on live events online. JUST GRAB A FRIEND AND DISCOVER IT ✨TOGETHER✨!
Tumblr media
9. 📼 DISNEY+ / NETFLIX 📼
Since I use both the same amount there is not thos or that. I never Really let anybody recommend me anything, cuz ... trust me, I WON'T watch it. IDK why that is, but I need a specific mood for each show. And nobody but myself can provide that. Probably why most ove the algorithms (esp Netflix) do not have an effect on me. I'm not in the mood for your ****, sorry!
Never the less, i periodically Binge a Series and then feel empty after it ended. Then i need some time to face reality again.
Funny tho, I binged Starwars Rebels on Disney+ and after it ended i just decide to buy 4 books on amazon that expand the story to starwars (#nerd i know). I will spend the next few months reading and probably not watching anything on both Streaming services.
Tumblr media
10. 🤤 TIKTOK 🌈
... YUP.... I grew up with vine ... but TikTok got me. And honestly I don't regret it. It's the perfect algorithm that constantly finds the best videos that feed my thirsty queer ass. I mean ...
LOOK AT THE IMG ABOVE. YES, give me more....!
Its prolly not good for my digital wellbeing or my mental health but do I care at the moment..? noooooo...
Just give me more of Starwars Parodies, Sleepwalkers, Best off's of streamers, Queer content (cuz its time this heteronormativity world is fed with it! and no i do not indentify as anyting, im just the + at the very far end!) and yeah, even some sexy content if the creator feels good about it.
AND DONT YOU GIVE ME THAT SIDE EYE OF JUDGEMENT HERE - WE ALL THIRST FROM TIME TO TIME!
TOODLES!
