reflecting on things. lots of thoughts i wanna spew out here. i think i officially lost my mind.

im not exactly sure where to start my tangent, but i guess i should just say that when i found the term “internet poisoned”, it clicked to me that i basically lived my entire life on the internet. followed and watched so many videos, esp during the time i dropped out. i could make excuses, such as my dad;s death that it was the reason why i am the way i am, but is that really it? wasnt i always a depressed kid that never got checked? (am i austitic on a different note? on that, i think ill just answer it for myself and say yes, because i may have certain traits that might be the case. i havent gotten tested tho.)

its not a wise idea to grow up with the internet, speaking on it now, as a 28 year old. my mom may be the same way, even tho she is not as tech savvy as me on this, but we still use it to entertain ourselves since we both had a computer at one point. but im only going to speak for myself, and say that i kinda do regret wasting my time online. well, not entirely, but i wish i had made better decisions.

i should had balance both my usage and person life. i shouldnt be so used to terms and things that non-internet users arent. i also should had been smart, and avoided some people that did cause me a lot of harm as a child. but that itself didnt exactly get limited to the internet, however. basically, my life was kinda fecked up either way. but i was also shallow and got out lucky compared to some others my age. (its damaging what people can do to others.)

im glad to have met people that ive grown to cherish, but what good am i outside of the net? i cant drive, dont have a ged, and i dont have a job.

ive watched so much drama happen on various websites, that ive grown to grow sick of it. petty ones, of big name utubers, that seem to have no reason behind them, just that they are popular and their community is toxic. and funny thing is, that is nothing new. every big thing will always have a toxic community around it. how that affects the person in the center will vary, and its not going to be guaranteed to be a great one, depending on their own personal troubles. (its the same for big hollywod actors, thinking about it, how they got poisoned and damaged by the people behind the scenes, and forcing them to take shape in ways that are impossible to please others. isnt it strange how both overlap? funny that, in a bitter sense.)

i also been apart of toxic communities. i try to keep my distance from those that did damage, but i know i will be forever stained with a name that is... well... ruined on different people’s perspective. but to me, its still important. some fandoms gave me experience that i would not had if i didnt genuinely enjoy the content.

but its also a shame when the creator turns out to be an absolutely cunt.

so many allegations, so much proof, so easy to also fabricate some of them and get them tossed into the real truths. but a cunt is still a cunt, so no matter what, some of them can not, and should not be forgiven. never let them forget the damage done, and the trust they had betrayed with everyone involved.

but i personally cant live my life around these... “superficial” things. the damage they did is real, just like being abused physically and mentally by a person outside the net. it can happen, but as an observer, what can i do? let it poison me in the inside, to the point that i lose hope? that the next person i like turns out to be just as bad?

it just creates so many problems with me, that i realize that yes, im too deep into the internet, and that i should break away from it. i need to force myself to step back and enjoy life around me in the real world. my mental illness is not a great thing to deal with in the real world, but i can manage.

but the worse thing about myself, is my morbid curiosity on things i regret learning about afterwards. i never thought there will be such horrid people on the internet either. so bad that i cant describe it without wanting to tear my computer apart.

i need vacation. i did get covid, so my body should had build up immunity, but i also gotta stay safe either way. im glad im doing better tho, despite it, and esp during remission, because its gonna be my 4th year since i finished chemo. i hope and pray that i will continue on to a healthy life and spend my time on this world happily for a long, long time. years and years and years.

but what doesnt help with that tho, is the fact i had to deal with a relatives death last year that still hurts me to this day. ah well. i will cry, but it cant be helped.

i have too many things going on in my mind. [sigh]

and i waste too much of my time watching stupid videos online. i should spend it more wisely. heh.

How do you get people to interact with your aus? I always see you answering asks about stuff (and I pounce on those, your aus are SO big brained) and I have my own ideas that I talk abt on my blog but not as much interaction. I’m sure it’s probably just luck of the draw, but I am pretty curious

I honestly have no clue. I'm p sure i have a higher than average ratio of interaction for my follower count, but i think luck and some other lucky things help

- bnha is a more interactive fandom than others like, say, ptutu so i'd have a tough sell getting asks about ptutu aus (that arent like. bnha ptutu aus). hence, i also get less asks about my thoughts on ptutu ships or ask games even when i bring them up for interaction. So, lucky pick in fandom

- weird connection with... i dont want to say 'big name fans' but... Gentry, Owl, or Cyber reblogging any of my au posts does significantly make them get more interaction than the ones they dont. and i dont know how we became friends honestly- like i know how i befriended gentry but im p sure cyber and owl just Showed Up there one day? no clue

- survivorship bias. i have a huge number of aus, and plenty of them get no interaction at all even though i really love them. the 'thirteenth ofa holder' got more interaction in the one day i've had it than the 'gran ofa holder' au did even though you'd think that would be popular, but it just didn't click with what tumblr masses wanted, i guess? and thats all random and luck too so good luck figuring out how to market to them. but i guess the more aus you try the more likely one is to get others excited for interaction

- the more asks i answer the more i get, generally speaking, so the more other people bring me their aus to chat about the more likely my aus are to be picked up. so i answer asks even if im not in love with the idea because its still fun and it can grow to something unexpected, and if its something i actually dont want to answer, like my otp secretly being my notp all along, i try to redirect to someone who will

Characters: All of them for now, but I will appreciate it if future requests could limit to five characters, or so.

Oda Nobunaga

Now this took a dark turn (puntentional, sue me.), he did not expect you to look like a cutefied and female version of his soldiers.

Makes him believe all the more that you are a token of war and his lucky charm. That brass knuckle belt buckle better be as functional as it looks, because he will expect you to use it.

Those knives are definitely worth to be examined. He likes to collect his fair share of swords and knives himself! Though he will definitely be frowning at the quality of the blade, their weight and how they wield.

Amuse him enough and he will give you a decorative knife of better quality.

Hideyoshi Toyotomi

Concerned noises escape him as his inner mother hen comes out. Decorative knives? Brass knuckle belt buckle? And are those spikes?

Definitely worries about the safety of your fashion. What if you hurt yourself with it? Or accidentally hurt his beloved lord? Where Nobunaga is amused Hideyoshi will try to keep you away from his lord.

Will definitely try to tell you to leave your accessoires at home, how can those still be considered jewellery? What kind of crude place did you grow up in?

Also wonders why you are dressed all in black. It is ominous and unneeded. Will definitely be suspicious of you for a long while to come.

Ieyasu Tokugawa

Is fascinated by your fashion, but for reasons different than you might guess. No, he finds it fascinating how your fashion is very practical in keeping people away, especially the spikes.

Prickly personality, prickly appearance, Ieyasu likes the thought of that. Perhaps that will teach the likes of Mitsunari to finally keep away from him.

The thigh highs he finds questionable, however. If you are concerned about the cold why not just wear something longer? And though your combat shoes are very sturdy and mean looking they aren’t exactly easy slip on and offs, which is important in this era where you don’t wear shoes inside, but where you are expected to rush outside for an attack.

Might adopt the spikes in his own fashion, though he will soon find that they get in the way with his everyday life.

Mitsuhide Akechi

Wonders what sort of environment you grew up in to require dressing yourself like that.

Dressed so visibly armed Mitsuhide really only can think of constant conflict and war, which makes him a little sad.

When he figures out it is just aesthetics he wonders how that works. Why would anyone willingly dress themselves like they could harm themselves or others?

All in all, Mitsuhide doesn’t understand and he doesn’t think he wants to understand it either. Cue, his lost interest in the modern era ever since he heard Sasuke talk.

Masamune Date

He digs it. It looks cool, it looks dangerous, he smells danger and adventure coming off that brass knuckle belt buckle.

Though he still prefers his sword, he can appreciate knives. Those are some pretty knives, but only meant for decoration. “It is a shame that the blades are of such poor quality, lass,” he tells you.

At least he knows that he doesn’t have to worry about you too much. Granted that you know how to use them. He will sharpen your knives first, however.

Will maybe also offer to sharpen those spikes and the brass knuckle, though ultimately he also doesn’t want you to get hurt if you happen to be clumsy.

Mitsunari Ishida

The strategist doesn’t see much sense in your aesthetics. There isn’t much diplomacy to be had in your dress, only fight.

And even then it isn’t a good armour or does it make for good weaponry.

He can think of a few styles in which it does come handy, but he doesn’t really enjoy the thought of getting you so near the fire.

Maybe it is a family crest? A rather crude one, he believes, as most family crests are inspired by philosophy, but he can get along with it.

Ranmaru Mori

He is wary of you and your style. What are you trying to display? Whatever it is, he doesn’t like it.

Intimidation? Pah, he laughs at it, because he definitely isn’t feeling intimidated in the slightest.

Though he is daunted at the thought that you could hurt yourself. That would be bad. Unless you have threatened him once, then he will hope you will hurt yourself. #petty

Kennyo will think Ranmaru is trying to describe a porcupine when the male tries to report back on his master.

Yukimura Sanada

We have heard Boar Lady and there was Enchantress, be ready for: Hedgehog! Or Porcupine.

Lots of name calling to go with your style. Because he can. Because it is Yuki.

Doesn’t find it cute at all and will exclaim such loudly. (Yuki, respect the style. Geez, brat.)

Wonders if it is never heavy to wear all of that. He definitely gets tired having to look at you.

Shingen Takeda

Oh, wow, this is a surprising look for a goddess. Rather, prickly?

Will admonish Yuki for calling you names. No, we don’t speak to anyone in that way.

Though he will give you a good look or two out of curiosity. Those spikes are intriguing.

Again, disappointed in your decorative knives. The quality of the blade is just not where it is at.

Kenshin Uesugi

Fascinated. Beyond fascinated. It looks like you’re ready to throw down a brawl 24/7. And Kenshin is here for that.

Will probably be the first amongst many to figure out how harmless your fashion is because he actually did try to manhandle you.

“What are those blades? Blunt and crude.” - Kenshin when he snaps your decorative knives in half.

He started impressed and then was disappointed when they didn’t serve a real fight. Will find you something better.

Sasuke Sarutobi

Probably ordered by Kenshin to get you some real spikes for wear and better knives.

Otherwise, again he is from the 21st century, he isn’t fazed. He has seen his fair share of trends and styles.

However, he also knows how you will stand out in the sengoku era, after all, you already do in the modern era.

With the constant warring people are, in general, hostile. Sasuke worries that the people you meet will see your dress as a blatant provocation.

Yoshimoto Imagawa

His weapon of choice is a fan. I think we can deduce from there that he loves subtlety and grace.

He sees your brass knuckle belt buckle, he sees your spikes and he scowls as if he saw Motonari.

With that I mean to say: he doesn’t like what he sees and he doesn’t like the style. It is crude and more of those ‘ugly’ words he so rarely uses.

If you approach him dressed like that you will find no friend in him, I feel that he is rather quick to judge in that. Though he can and will hold a civil conversation for the sake of pleasantries.

Kennyo

Like mentioned before, he thinks you’re a porcupine the first time he reads a report. Spikes, what?

But when he sees you he understands what his young spy was describing, and is he in for a surprise.

Spikes as in actual spikes? As in what Sasuke throws down at times? What? Kennyo doesn’t understand why one would wear that.

“Don’t you ever hurt yourself with those?” he questions you cautiously. Though he does wonder what sort of wicked soul designed these.

Motonari Mouri

He thinks of durians the first time he sees your spikes. Travelled as he is, he has seen the exotic fruit once or twice.

Prickly outer shell, but sweet inside? Like a durian, though you are sure to smell a lot better than the fruit.

He wonders if your hometown has durians as well, seeing as you are dressed like a dark version of one.

Did you know that legend has it that a durian fell on someone's head and cracked open, revealing its sweet flesh? He wonders if you will fall for him and reveal your sweet side.

Aesthetic: oh boy here we go... 1) ocean themed home decor and colors 2) fall smells and colors and crunchy leaves and pumpkin flavored pastries and desserts and the smell of hot cocoa and warm scarves and sweaters 3) halloween/emo/goth/demons/etc, aka "scary" things, with lots of black and accents of red, purple, orange, etc; skull motifs, chains, tattered dark clothes, capes, belts, sharp teeth, scythes, swords and spears, thorns, spikes, low light flames, etc etc etc. When most people meet me the first time they arent surprised by the first two aesthetics. Only the people i know really well aren't surprised by the third

Favorite animal sound: all of the cat sounds. All. Of. Them.

Random: I actually feel like my traditional art is better than my digital art despite the fact my digital art tends to look more professional and cleaned up. I have never used filters on a serious piece cuz I have no idea what Im doing, and my prefereed brush is the apparently boring and "terrible" brush pen tool and the also apparently boring but less terrible airbrush tool. Idk what people's obssesion with alternate brushes are, i dont get it, my stuff looks fine with these "boring" tools what do you want from me

Age: I guess I’m spoiling the surprise, but… pretty much 23.

Height: Yesterday my family pointed out that either I was getting taller, or they were getting smaller. 1,70m is the range I’m always around +/-5, at least to my knowledge.

Zodiac: Leo babyyyy (Pisces rising I’m sure, but earlier this year I found out my moon wasn’t on Libra as I thought, but Leo. Leo sun and moon? That’s one hell of a explosive coctail, with Pisces making me all fluffy and emotional I guess.)

Hogwarts house: idk, what’s the house with all the kids skipping class to smoke magic weed? I’d probably join that.

The last thing I googled: “Noches del Paraguay” Folk music (or as we simply call it, Folklore) is a pretty interesting genre around here. It’s the music all my grandparents listen (or listened) to and its historic origins go way back at least one or two centuries. Noches del Paraguay is one of my favorites ever since I watched Hugo del Carril’s Las Aguas Bajan Turbias (1952.) That movie has a pretty cool interpretation of that song, very fitting for that scene. (Also Hugo’s voice is always such a pleasure to hear.)

Song stuck in my head: Working on the next iteration of the Sonic Music post got me Silent Forest Zone 1 stuck again. Besides that, El Loco is a song I can’t get out of my head, mostly because I’m still learning what the lyrics actually say, lol.

Lucky number: always said 3, and have no reasons to change that.

Wearing: Blue and white shirt, shorts and a pretty big jacket, almost industrial-like, pretty worn down already. #LockdownFashion yayy

Number of followers: 221 (I have something to say about that, but you’ll have to wait until Sunday.)

Amount of sleep: Back to 8 hours, possibly even lowering to 6 since it’s finals season until the 24th of August and soon the stress and anxiety will kick into overdrive.

Favorite author: Can’t say for sure. Like with music, I don’t really “marry” a single author, and studying History makes me jump through many authors from all over the world all the time, with little time to settle with anyone. Can I just say I love cutegirlmayra’s fanfics? <3

Aesthetic: Pretty much everything you see represented under the “Retrowave” and “Future Funk” umbrellas (that filtered old anime style with some Vaporwave touches? perfect.)
