#i can imagine having opinions about my city but my province is 'it exists i guess'

Lucky for those of us on this side of the highway, I can have opinions about both simultaneously!

this is something i’ve always been curious about because of how every state in the usa seems to be hated so viciously.

#the way buenos aires is split up is dumb #the main city is its own province/region but the metro area is part of the Buenos Aires province #which can be pretty different from the city #a highway marks the borders on the west while a river marks the borders on the south #but it's not like the city ends #it's one big city

really do not think people understand the extent to which palestinian sites/landmarks (especially muslim ones) were destroyed, beginning in 1948 until now, even in cities. the oldest extant mosque in jaffa (al-bahr mosque) was built in 1675, even though islam came there in the 7th century
