I've been working on this constructed language for 20 years now. 19 years online.

It's come a long way.

For this version: I used Me-Vírdas Alphabet. An alphabet I use on my website.

However, the alternative spellings you see were made to accommodate for use of the Traditional, (official Nintendo) Gerudo Alphabet if one so chooses to use it. (Private use only)

character birthdates are released through the official art books for the persona games. Under the info for each character a characters Height, Weight, Zodiac (more on this later), Blood type (more on this later), and birthdate. I made this graphic to put all the persona users (plus nanako and her dad bc why not) onto a chart to share their bdays-

i got their bdays from the art books, theres some strange things i wanted to make note incase anyone else knows where to get the info bc i couldnt find it

Tatsuya Suou has a different birthday listed between p2IS and p2EP, i'm unsure on why, both birthdates still make him a leo tho.

p3 protags, p4 protag, and p5 protag do not have bdays nor blood types listed since theyre "silent protagonists", meaning the player is to project their own bday onto said protags

Aigis has multiple manufacturing and activation dates, i went with the month+year they were made.

Morgana, Teddie, Metis, Aigis, and Koromaru don't have much listed i assume its bc theyre not human.

This is the characters with official bdays organized by western zodiac signs, ppl use zodiac signs to test compatibility and personality types of ppl, similar to the myers briggs test?? thats the best example i can think of.

This is the characters with official blood types organized by blood types, in jpn theres a theory that blood types give a person a personality type and can be used for compatibility tests (like western zodiac but with blood). People with blood type A are seen to be highly organized, precise, and pay close attention to detail. People with blood type B are seen as easy going, honest, and bubbly. People with blood type AB are seen as a combo of both A and B and are generally "perceived as geniuses or psychos". Finally people with blood type O are seen as eccentric and seen as natural leaders. This is a very vague description of each type, I recommend doing your own research into it! its interesting!

Finally I organized each persona user under their birth year and birth month bc i think thats interesting.

An amazing resource for any persona info is the SMT Fandom Wiki that's so well loved and constantly updated, if you need drawing ref or an abridged description of a character that is my go to resource. Another resource I love is The Cutting Room Floor, a website that catalogs cut content, debug info, and other general behind the scenes info. It has information for any game i've ever played, persona or not, like their Zelda game info pages are fucking incredible. If you have any interest in game design or how video games are made I cannot recommend this website enough, its so incredibly interesting! I know all this bc I got into the persona series in 2014/2015, idr the exact year but I was in school then, I've had almost a decade of time to absorb and collect info lol if anything i put down is incorrect pls lmk and ill fix it <3))

Not sure if growing-up you read the VizKids Legend of Zelda manga (or the more recent Twilight Princess manga) by Akira Himekawa (which TIL is a pseudonym for a team of 2 women as co-creators for story and art),

But if you did, you may be interested to learn that they have just started their own original fantasy series called "Kamudo" that already has an official free English release on Viz's website. The 2 prologue chapters have already been released and they look gorgeous (source: https://www.viz.com/blog/posts/a-new-fantasy-for-the-ages-kamudo)

Also, I expect furries and scalies are going to love this

As one would expect of the artist for the Twilight Princess manga, the expressiveness on the wolf anthro is top notch.

the official website says that Link, Zelda and Ganon in the new game are different from those in LA, ALttp, etc. and even if this explains some moments in the game, I think it is unreasonable. And to be more precise, I think it is unreasonable to use old character designs and try to introduce them as completely new characters. Yes, they changed Zelda's design, but they did not touch Link’s, and because of this there is confusion. If they changed Zelda's design, then why couldn't they change Link's design? all they gave him was a new cloak and a new sword. I don't care where Echoes of Wisdom is in the timeline, I care why the main character of other games got a twin. This is not how I imagined the appearance of new reincarnations of Link and Zelda.

For better or worse, Drawn Together represents a very real trend in mid-2000s humor. It specifically sought out to tell the most offensive jokes it could get on air, but that’s what makes it surprising that the episode where Xandir admits he’s gay isn’t the parade of easy jokes you might expect. The B plot sucks rancid balls, to the point that we don’t even use clips from it in this discussion, but you might be surprised how this animated reality show makes its token gay a sympathetic guy.

I'm trying not pin any hope on playable Zelda, BUT the combination of the official website stating that Link's adventure specifically starts on the sky islands and the impression I've gotten that the sky islands rising/appearing is an in-game event has me kind of wondering if we START as Zelda, then move back and forth between her and Link once they're separated (especially if she's in the past, I think it would be so cool if it's either like, playable memories or if areas have to be completed by both of them with her trying to leave clues as she goes for Link, but the areas change so much by his time that the clues don't always make sense anymore and the experience playing through is entirely different)

But I can't tell if I think that's possible or if I just really want it lol

Ok so first step in translating this new rune set is seeing that it’s really just some repeated phrase, too short to be “Tears of the Kingdom.”

It seems to be a ten character word, so not Zelda or Nintendo.

It is the same runes as seen on the ruins in the sky so if its a lore related phrase it may relate to that

But that would leave the most liekly canidate for the word to be the name of the civilization? or perhaps the name of the diety of thatever this thing or this thing is, which are both given a lot of attention on the official website

1- Oh my it was aaall the way back when Ocarina of Time came out, and I. was. obsessed. with this game. I was like 9? 10? I was already into gaming a lot but that game was my escape. When I completed the story I then set about absolutely 100%-ing everything, and even after that it still wasn't enough. I remember I was looking at Zelda websites on the family computer, trying to search for stuff I didn't already know about the game, when I stumbled upon a 'fan-fiction' tab. Started reading one, didn't understand, was this official? No way. And then, oh, oh okay, people were writing what they thought would happen next, if the game hadn't ended!

Big revelation moment lmao. That was when I started carrying a notebook everywhere I went, taking notes, writing chapters by hand etc. A whole new wooooorld!

2- It's honestly hard because any type of comment makes my day! 🥺from the lengthy analysis ones to the iconic keyboard smash lmao so hmmm... I'd say it tickles me pink when I receive comments that are a little unhinged 😂Like I can feel the reader's excitement through the words hahaha

3- Oooh that is evil AND a great way to get me to write and stop procrastinating actually! 😆

There are a few things like specific tropes or POVs that I'm not super fond of in fics as a matter of personal taste but will power through if the fic is interesting... but if I open a fic and am greeted with a giant wall of text I'm noping the fuck out of there. 😂

I think the lores and art of Hiveswap and its visual novel spin-off influenced Homestuck fandom a lot. For example, Snowbound Blood, a spin-off visual novel of Vast Error, has its own troll call cards called Trollodex. And there are fan-made troll call cards in hs fandom.

If Fiamet from Hiveswap were really a limeblood or "mutant," she may inspire those fantrolls as she is suspected a non-violetblood. Like a mutantblood (technically, the hiveswap official website counts his sign as a limeblood one.) Karkat does.

But Homestuck was not really known as a visual novel. It was only until Pesterquest that it gets introduced this. For the base webcomic, it is mostly known for flash fight scenes and often top-down adventure segments like you see in Legend of Zelda, Earthbound, and more. I didn't mind it being point and click adventure like they did for Act 1 on Hiveswap. Because hey, at least it kept the ADVENTURE part. People don't really count visual novels as adventure games, especially if the action moments told through dialogue. Other games try to make up for it by having other gameplay elements such as Super Robot Wars being a tactical RPG game. And that takes VN dialogue aspects. WhatPumpkin using visual novels to exposition the lore is their lazy way of telling and never showing. That and because of shit like Andrew Hussie not wanting to make in-universe biography books like how he rejected the whole Aspect and Classpect physical book. A book about Alternia written by someone like Karkat, The Condesce, Doc Scratch, or anyone else, is never a thing because nobody thought it would be a good idea. Think of like how Alex Hirsch actually made and produce an in-universe Journal 3 book for Gravity Falls. Not only it contains pages from the show, but also ones that aren't seen and new ones that were added in by the characters themselves. It happened again in Book of Bill too. That's how you can show off the world from within the series of telling AND showing in a creative way. Visual novels can only go so far for some if either the reader prefers seeing the action or if the writing is good to describe what is happening. And even then, some visual novels would use music, sound effects, voice acting, and a drawn CG scene to help users imagine what is happening. Pesterquest, Hiveswap Friendsim, and now Vriska in Hell VN doesn't do that. Why couldn't Andrew Hussie or WhatPumpkin do that instead? Especially when you think about it, this could have helped backed up Hiveswap after blowing all that 2 million dollars.
