It's another normal day, at least you thought it is. Until you felt an arm wrapped around your waist, pulling you closer to them. "Good morning babe.." they said as they snuggle their face on your nape, "morning to you too" you replied as you slowly try to turn your body facing them.

"Babe-" before you could finish your sentence, they gently placed their lips on top of yours. "Happy Birthday Darling." They whispered as they slowly move closer to you, "What do you want to do today, hm? It's your day today." They asked as they placed their hand on your cheek. Gently rubbing their thumb along your cheek, staring at you, expecting an answer from you. "Well?" They asked you again as they softly smiled at you,

"I, maybe, making cakes?.." "making cakes? Sure let's go get the ingredients and make you a birthday cake." They said as they slowly go out from the bed, also extending their hand to you. "Come on, let's go shower together-" "Huh-" "Hahah, I'm just kidding, get up now, I'll prepare you the bath, so make sure when I go out from the bathroom you're ready to go take a bath, okay?" They said as they dropped a kiss on your forehead before leaving to the bathroom.

After awhile, they walked out from the bathroom and see you still on the bed. "You really want me to pick you up and take you to the bathroom?" They teased and chuckled at your flustered state, "Stop teasing me already, god." You said as you look away trying to calm yourself down. And then you felt the bed dip next to you, and then you feel a hot breath on your ear. "Or.. perhaps.. do you want me to bathe with you, hm?" They whispered and their words made you felt hot and made you wanna melt on that exact moment. "I- S-Stop it-!" You stuttered, making them lowly chuckled at your reaction and proceeds to kiss your cheek as an apology. "Haha sorry sorry, now go take a bath babe."

After a good few minutes, you finally finished taking a bath. You waited for your lover to finish their bath too, so you sat down on the couch. As you wait, you scroll through your phone, looking through fanarts and other stuff you like to see.

"Hi baby, miss me?" They suddenly whispered on your ear, "GAH!?! YOU- Gosh!.. Hi, and no, I don't miss you-" you replied sulking. "Aw.." they softly whined and start kissing your neck, earlobe, anything they could reach with their lips. "Sorry.. we still have a cake to make, babe.." they said as they mutter an apology, "Mhm.." you replied with a hum. "Come onn.. forgive me?" They softly asked as they mindlessly drawing shapes on your upper arm, "Okay okay, fine. I can't stay mad at you.. Let's go make the cake." "Hehe.. thank you for accepting my apology.. let's go shall we?"

Hours have passed, the mess you both make on making a single cake. Is a bit, concerning. But you both did had your fun, and here it is the cake you both made in front of you. Actually looking good, both of you lowkey kind of proud of what you both created. Your Lover then decided to add some candles on them and lit them up, they stood across from you and look up to you expectantly. "Come on, make a wish.." they said and smiled at you, you blinked multiple times before decided to close your eyes, making a wish.

Fiuh-

You blow the candle and smiled sheepishly at it, you felt childish doing that. But you like it either way. Your Lover clapped their hands and walk up to you, kissing you all over your face. "Happy. Chu Birthday. Chu To. Chu My beloved. Chu Darling. Chu-" They said as they drop a kiss each time.

"Thank You for being here with me.. I Love You.."

"I Love You too, babe.. Thank You too, for choosing me to stay by your side."

It’s well past midnight when Kensi creeps back into Pacific Beach Medical. Once she flashes her badge at the security guard, no one bats an eye at her late visit; she supposes after all the excitement of the day, most of the staff recognize her.

Hetty had gently “suggested” she go home around six, assuring Kensi that she would look after Deeks. Kensi had left, mostly because she knew a Hetty order couched in friendliness. Besides, she really hadn’t eaten much aside from Deeks’ purloined jello. At home, she’d eaten, taken a long, hot shower, and then tried to zone out on TV. She’d made it through half an episode of “Hoarders” before she caved and grabbed her keys.

Deeks’ room is quiet, other than the noise provided by the monitors when she walks in. The glow from the switched on, but muted TV is the only source of light.

It’s enough to highlight Deeks’ face and upper body, presumably left uncovered by the last nurse to do rounds. She stares at the swathe of white bandages wrapped around his chest and torso, stained with a dark spot in the center, for several moments.

When she’d left earlier, he’d been exhausted, yet in too much pain to sleep. The thought of him running halfway across the hospital and from what she gather, a few flights of stairs, to come to her rescue horrifies her. As does the memory of the row of popped stitches and blood his heroics had resulted in.

Without thinking about it too much, she reaches out and brushes his hair back from his forehead. It’s a little stiff and matted, but she doesn’t pull away. After everything, Kensi can handle a little sweat and grease. Deeks whines softly, a wrinkle forming between his eyebrows as he turns into her touch. She pulls away before he can fully wake and catch her in a moment of vulnerability.

Rubbing her hands over her thighs, she considers leaving. She’s done her duty. She’s made sure Deeks is as alright as can be expected after his second surgery in as many days. She should feel relieved.

Instead, Kensi takes the hard little chair next to his bed, pulls it right up to the railing, and tugs his blanket over his chest.

March 2012

Deeks yawns beside Kensi, blinking a few times as he reaches for his styrofoam coffee cup. He makes a disappointed sound when he finds it empty, and sticks it back in the cupholder of Kensi’s SUV.

Out of the corner of her eye, Kensi sees him try to muffle another yawn as his legs shift restlessly in the footwell. She knows he’s been running an undercover op for LAPD while still fulfilling his liaising duties as much as possible. Including tonight’s surveillance of a possible killer. So she knows he has to be running on fumes.

“Hey, why don’t you rest for a little bit,” she suggests on a whim. Deeks turns slowly, much more slowly than normal and squints. “I’ll let you know if anything exciting happens.

“No, I’m fine,” he says automatically.

“I bet you’ve barely slept this whole week.”

“Aw, is Kensalina worried about me?” He has enough energy to manage a teasing grin.

“Don’t bet on it. You’re a liability if you’re too tired,” she explains. Because she never admits that she cares or worries about Deeks. Not useless under the most dire of circumstances.

“I’ve worked under worse conditions,” Deeks tells her, interrupting himself with a yawn.

“Ah, and there’s my proof. You haven’t complained once all night. If you were really ok, you’d be driving me crazy with your whining.” She lifts her chin, proud of the point she’s made.

“I think I should be offended.”

“Just go to sleep.”

Deeks look like he’s about to argue further (because he seems to know no other way).

“Deeks.”

He stops at her soft admonishment, his upper lift shifting into a wry smile.

“Ok,” he mutters. “But wake me up the second anything happens.” Shifting lower in his seat, which makes Kensi wince in sympathy for his back, and closes his eyes.

Within seconds, his breathing evens out, and his face goes slack.

Smiling to herself, Kensi turns to look out her window again. Every so often, Deeks makes a little shuffling noise, or some other sound.

She finds it oddly comforting.

October 2013

“It’s a love story.”

Kensi stares at Deeks long after he stops mumbling in his sleep. A part of her is just relieved that he’s finally getting some rest. When she’d first seen him, she’d been shocked by his unwashed hair, less than pristine clothes, and most of all, the deep shadows around his speaking of sleepless nights. It kills her to see him this way. To know he’s been suffering on his own.

The more selfish part of her is dying to know what Deeks meant by his last mumbled words. Was it just senseless sleep-talk? Or something more?

It doesn’t matter either way, Kensi tells herself.

What Deeks needs right now is support from her. Finding out if he feels the same way she does can wait until he’s more stable.

Still, she slides closer, until their forehead are nearly touching, their knees pressed together.

“Hey, this is the first time we’re sleeping together as a married couple,” Deeks whispers below Kensi’s ear.

There pressed chest to chest, Deeks’ thigh wedged between her legs with her injured ankle carefully propped up by his.

“It is.” Kensi moans softly as he kisses the underside of her chin, but he doesn’t go any further. Between their eventful wedding, and celebratory activities, they’re both exhausted. “I did expect tonight to go a little differently.”

“Ouch.” Deeks pulls back, making an exaggerated face.

Kensi playfully pushes at his shoulder. “You know I didn’t mean that. Well, not exactly.” She gives a half-hearted roll of her hips, a little constrained by their current position. “I was hoping to have a little more stamina. And not a busted up ankle and hand.”

“Hey, we have the rest of forever together.” Deeks tips her chin up, kissing her softly. “Plenty of time to do all the sexy things.”

“You’re ridiculous,” Kensi says, even as she rests her head on his chest. “And I love you.”

“Love you too,” Deeks murmurs back, already half asleep.

“Hey Deeks, have you seen my—” Kensi cuts herself off mid-sentence as she walks into the living room to find Deeks on the couch, the twins cradled in each of his arms. All three are passed out.

Kensi creeps closer, a soft smile curving her lips. Sophia and Caleb are snuggled against his chest contentedly while Deeks’ head bobs forward, hair flopping in his eyes.

It’s adorable.

Pulling out her phone, she makes sure the flash is off before snapping a picture.

Perfection, she thinks as she examines the image.

Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? I used to respond to every single one (and I wish I still did), but I'm honestly so tired and burnt out with life so I don't have energy to do it anymore. But I do read every single one, and they make me IMMEASURABLY happy.

What is a fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Hmm I think most people would say tense but I'm also quite partial to the angst in It's almost like the deep cuts make us beautiful.

What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Ooh this is interesting because I loooove hurt/comfort with open endings. But I also think that most of my fics have happy endings (because I'm a sap at heart). I think under gentle hands is very nice, and so is I only want you near me.

Do you get hate on fics? Very occasionally, but I don't think it's happened in this fandom. :)

What are your writing weaknesses? Probably any descriptions or exposition. I don't know how to write the things that I can just see in my head. I also wish I was better at light hearted writing. My dearest friend NerdGirl07 has such a gift for hitting all the emotions while still mixing in some lightheartedness, and I would love to steal this skill from her.

aaahhh ok, first thing that pops into my head: The sons of Feanor are not the main characters of the Silmarillion. Really, Feanor isn't even the main character of the Silmarillion -- it does not have a main character. It has a collection of protagonists that shifts as the legends are strung together, but there is no singular main character or even group of characters.

Okay now to answer your question about Yoongi's feelings. The reason why he was still able to run to her (kinda) was because he was a Creator and therefore it took a while longer for the magic to overwhelm him. Sophie and Shirley got like a "magical signal" from Suzy to start their plan. They tranquilised Jelena with magic and then attempted to do the same to Yoongi, which failed big times as they both got killed by him seconds later afnadf. Then he already heard OC scream for him, but by that point he also felt the magic infilitrate his body which meant he could only really stumble to get to her while his muscles grew weaker and weaker and his eyesight got darker and darker. He was definitely scared out of his wits, mostly for OC of course but also for himself because it's been thousands of years since he last felt that helpless 🥺

Because I'm proud of myself for finally doing this I want to share it here and with a fun fact.

As you can tell from my tumblr, I really like Carlos and a few other characters, but one of my favorites doesn't get a lot of love and shares a voice actor with my beloved Carlos from he resident evil franchise.

But for those that also enjoy themselves some Miguel Rojo I give you my first writing for our precious angry Spainard.

It's been an eventful convention weekend, four days of insanity and button mashing but today I get to relax being outmatched in Tekken tournaments has its small silver linings.

As I walk around I hear someone call out to me making me stop and look around until I spotted a kid run up excitedly, his brown curls bouncing as he jumps up and down excitedly.

I smile and squat down to his height ready to sign something or enteract with the kiddo.

"Hey little man what's up?"

The kids eyes sparkled as he clapped his hands together.

"You were so cool during the tournament! I really like Miguel too he gets so much hate because he isn't an actual martial artist."

I snickered the kid was right I don't know many people that like using Miguel so it's always neat to find others that appreciate him as a character.

"I know what you mean but to me I'd trust a man like Miguel with my life. Like he went on a whole man hunt for Jin and entered the tournament with no martial arts skills just to utterly destroy a man that caused his sisters death. Plus I love how he's literally just a brawler, some punk that beats you up until you won't get up."

The kid started jumping up and down again, I noticed two adults walk up with a relieved look on their face. 'That must be his parents, he must have given them a fright.'

"YOU GET IT! If anyone hurt my baby sister I'd do the same thing. Hey hey are you Spanish or Brazilian by chance?"

I held back a loud laugh, I get that quite alot being racially ambiguous people mistake me for many things. I shake my head making my wavy hair sway.

"No I'm just biracial, don't know much though about my heritage. I'm adopted you see but if I ever find out I'd like to understand my heritage."

The kid nods, I'm not sure if he understands but it's cute to see him act like he does. This was the best part of cons for me, meeting people with similar likes and making a kids day, it makes my heart swell with warmth making a kid or anyone in general happy.

"I just thought maybe you were Spanish cause I over heard you talking to another Tekken player in castellano."

I heard the parents make a noise of disaprovement at their child's bluntness. The mother patted the boys head softly. I spotted the little sister in her arms that the boy spoke of. Her wide brown eyes taking all the colors in, she must have been maybe around one or two years old.

"Mijo, it's not polite to make assumptions."

I watched the little boy hang his head making me look at the mother with understanding.

As I said that I pulled one of the Miguel Keychain I just purchased out of my bag and handed it to him.

"Here ya go kiddo consider this a gift from one Miguel fan to another. Go have fun with your family and don't run off on them again I'm sure you gave them a fright."

The little boy nodded and grabbed his father's hand and walked off with them. I heard his apology to his parents and smiled as I turned to walk off to find a spot to rest.

People glued to their phones or a TV screen whether at home or a pub everyone was tuning in for their favorite fighting tournament to cheer for their favorite fighter or make beats on who was going to win or lose.

One man walked along the roads and glared at one of the large display screens showing one of the fighters.

"Jin Kazama, this rage is for you and you alone. I'll be the one to take you down."

I sit down to relax against the pillar I claimed as my sanctuary from humans and groaned as my back popped in a few places.

"Wow I didn't notice my body was so wond up, I should really get a massage or something."

I closed my eyes for a bit to take a quick rest.

"Hey hey miss are you okay?"

I feel my body being shook and I slowly open my eyes and blink away the darkness to be greeted by two familiar pigtails.

"Uuuuh what?"

The girl stands up and puts her hands on her hips.

"I asked if you were okay?"

A chuckle sounded from behind her.

"You also shook for poor cutie I'd be a bit confused too if I was woken up like that."

I glanced behind her to see familiar orange hair.

I stand up and dust myself off and look around, my merch was gone and I'm in an alley with two characters from one of my favorite fighting game.

"Uh weird question, but did you perchance see how I ended up in this alley?"

The girl tilted her head and then nodded.

"Kind of it was weird really. A bright light a boom and then silence. Thought maybe you got into some weird brawl but you don't seem hurt. Are you hurt?"

I watched her explanation which included alot of hand movements and started to smile. 'She talks with her hands alot. Glad to know that's a her thing it's cute.'

The man walked forward and looked at me in an observing me.

"You aren't from here are you girly?"

I shook my head and looked between the two of them.

"Um no actually, oh this is going to sound so weird. I'm from a different world, realm...i don't know what you'd call it...dimension maybe."

I tilt my head while rubbing the back of my neck until the girls giggled and pointed at me.

"ALIEN!"

I snapped my head towards her and blinked, she had a wide smile on her face as the man let out an amused huff.

"Ummm I guess that's an accurate way of putting it. But I am most definitely human."

The man hummed

"Well im..."

I pointed at him.

"Hworang and you, you're Ling Xiaoyu. You're both pretty popular where I'm from."

Ling jumped up and down while Hworang eyed me suspiciously.

"Alright explain girly?"

I started from the beginning explains how they were both from a game in my world and how I was a professional player, of course I didn't tell them my main just told them I flex played and explained what that was and where I was before I ended up here.

Ling gasped and giggled before grabbing my arm.

"Does that mean you know how to fight or are you just good at in games?"

Hworang sighed rubbing the back of his neck.

"Why would you assume she knows how to fight just from that?"

I laughed making him look at me.

"I mean she's not entirely wrong, I'm not by any means a professional fighter like you two by I like to dabble in some martial arts but I'm more of a punch em till their down type of person. Kind of my default I guess, I grew up in a rough area so fist fighting was a norm for me."

Ling looked at me concerned.

"What do you mean by rough area?"

I scratched the back of my head with a goofy grin.

"Rough like muggings, gunshots, not safe for girls to walk alone kind of area. But I was kind of the kid that did what she wanted so long as my mom and dad were cool with it so my pops taught me how to throw punches and how to stab someone properly if need be, break arms, noses that type of stuff. He wanted me to be able to defend myself. We live in a better area now so I don't really have to fight and can just relax when I'm out and about."

Ling nodded her head in understanding.

"We have places like that here too."

She frowns and looks at me.

"But I think kids shouldn't have to fight to survive just walking to a store or something."

I nod humming in agreement. She's right about that it shouldn't be normal nor should a kid develop anxiety early because of it, but here I am a scrapper with anxiety.

I giggle making them look at me oddly.

"Sorry sorry I was just thinking about what one of the old ladies at one the stores called me."

Hworang chuckled at me.

"And what was that?"

I giggled again and pointed at myself.

"A scrappy little street rat."

Ling and Hworang burst out laughing.

"Why on earth would she call you that?"

I smiled thinking back foundly on the old lady she always had my back.

"Well I dressed in cargo pants and hoodies when ever I went out late so people would just mistake me as some punk out and about. So she took to calling me that because that's what I reminder her of, like a street kid."

Hworang grinned at me and slung his arm around my shoulders.

"I like you girly, come on I want to see what you got."

Ling chased after us panicked.

"Hworang no, she just told us she's not a professional fighter. Are you insane?"

I glanced back at her curiously and then at the grinning Hworang.

"Wait...woah hold up buddy you aren't planning on entering me in that tournament are you?"

Hworang just grinned at me as Ling continued lecturing him.

She kicked him in the leg making him stumble, unfortunately I stumbled as well right into someone's back.

As I backed up and looked up the person I stumbled in I was in shock.

Standing in front of me was my main...the one and only Miguel Caberello Rojo.

'Holy shit he's huge'

"Lo siento señor."

I watched as he tilted his head and stared at me like I was a puzzle.

"hablas mi lengua materna?"

I blinked and started to smile with a nod.

He laughed and ruffled my hair making me huff.

He laughed harder at my protest but relented in messing up my hair.

I turned hearing Ling and Hworang run up to us.

"Ah Miguel have you thought about my offer?"

I looked at Hworang curiously as he slide his arm around my shoulder slyly making my narrow my eyes at him.'what is this man thinking'

Ling stomped her foot.

"Stop hogging her Hworang."

Miguel looked at the three of us before narrowing his eyes at me. I held my hands up automatically, that was not I look I wanted to be at the end of .

"What ever he asked of you I am not a part of it, I just met these two." I narrowed my eyes at Hworang "and what ever your plotting do not involve me in it idiot."

Ling burst out laughing making me look at her noticing her attention was now on Miguel.

"She speaks the truth we found her in an alley, she's really fun but Hworang is hogging her like he always does when he thinks a girl is pretty."

I looked at Hworang blinking at him as he winked at me.

I scoffed and stomped on his foot.

"Absolutely not, your a menace. I wouldn't even hook up with you if I was shit faced . You're the type of guy that my pa calls trouble."

I scooted back behind Ling and pointed at Hworang whom was acting offended.

"Why is he like that?"

Ling just shrugged at me and we both glanced at Miguel hearing him chuckle.

"If the Senorita agrees to join your little group I may just join. Only to see you get shoot down like that again."

I glance at Miguel surprised.

'I shouldn't be surprised but I'm just so used to only hearing his lines an Castellano.'

Hworang snapped his head in my direction and grinned, followed by Ling turning to grin at me.

"Woah woah first you want me in the tournament now your alliance, slow down you two."

I slowly back away only for Ling to grab me into a bear hug.

"It will be so much fun, you'll get to meet everyone and make new friends and oh oh you'll get to meet panda."

I perked up at that.

"Panda? The cute adorable fighting Panda? That panda?"

Ling nodded her head enthusiastically making me groan.

"I should say no, I really should..."

You know those moments when your thought process takes you a direction you know is a bad idea but the only thought is fuck it, yeah this was one of those moments.

"Ugh I can't believe I'm doing this...fine, fine I'll join."

Ling jumped up and down holding me.

'My god why is she like this.'

"Yaaaay now we have two new members. You'll be alot of help anyways you know that right?"

She puts me down and stares directly at me with a small and Hworang pats my shoulder.

"She's right your like our own personal spy."

I groan in annoyance.

"You guys making me sound like a suspicious criminal."

Ling laughs at me.

"I mean...you'd definitely be a suspicious criminal in Jin and Kazuya's eyes."

I frown at hearing Kazuya's name and let a growl out taking the two by suprise and catching Miguel's attention.

"Ling do me a favor do NOT mention that man's name again, I really really hate him."

Hworang looked at me curiously.

"Jin? He's not that bad."

Miguel huffed at Hworang and rightfully so in my opinion.

"No his father that man can rot for all I care. As for Jin he is close to becoming just as bad as his father I'd pay to punch his dumb ass in the face."

Hworang burst out laughing.

"You can do that for free in the tournament. Now come on girly, you to Rojo."

He walked off with Ling as me and Miguel exchanged a look and followed after the two fighters.

10. What work was the quickest to write?

i banged out basically all of my shorter drabbles in one sitting with minimal looking back, so probably one of those 🤣 but five minutes and love the way you wear that also came out super quickly! i actually wrote five minutes entirely on a plane/in an airport so..... lmfaoooo

11. What work took you the longest to write?

well the obvious answer is LDOMLT 😵‍💫 i plotted the thing back in april (april!!) and i cannot manage to post more than one chapter a month just because of how much concentrated effort it takes to put each part together. i think only @haliiimede and @monimonimoon know how much i stress about every little thing down to.... quite literally the tiniest details that probably none of y'all care about 💀 but i'm a PERFECTIONIST 🔪

the other longest-in-progress work i have is still not fucking written sfhidurgkjfg but i have had a taehyung strangers to lovers oneshot set in nyc outlined since fucking MAY 👹 ..... my goal is to write it and post it (belatedly) for his birthday so 🥺 look for it in like... january ???
