Dan Heng is the person who seemingly attends events only to hide in the corner or leave incredibly early. To him, he values companionship over almost everything else but has a low threshold for socialisation. He has his selected group (currently, the Astral Express) and he will seek different people out depending on what he needs or what he has the capacity to deal with. Whilst he loves March and Caelus/Stelle, sometimes they can be overbearing, and during times where he'd prefer more quiet company, he will seek out Welt or Himeko. A new friend is a blessing indeed, but also a commitment in Dan Heng's eyes and not something he actively seeks out. If someone just so happens to fall into his friendship circle, then he will cherish that friendship in a very Dan Heng way. Protective, always concerned about their well-being quietly, but also needing to withdraw to the archives to rest and regain his energy.

Autumn. The time to settle down for the colder months, the excitement of summer over and the cooler, calmer weather beginning to settle in. Warm drinks and cooling nights, fallen leaves in shades of green, yellow and orange. Not quite entering hibernation, but the intensity and heat from the months past beginning to settle in behind you. The feeling of homeliness and having space to rest and recover. A time of change, ready for a time of standstill, or to be prepared for the harsh cold to come to your doorstep. A period to move forward, knowing that what's over is over and there is no turning back.

I know summer weather isn't the kindest (especially where I live), but man I love summer things.

I love summer clothes and summer dresses, I love summer colors, all the yellows, oranges, greens, blues; all the bright things. I love summer fruits and refreshing cold drinks. I love summer splashes in the pool and ice popsicles. I love just the general vibe of everyone being on holiday from school/college.

Is the sun burning my skin off? Yeah, pretty much. Will I let that bring my spirits down? Absolutely not.
