EP.29 Insomnia-Zero II #1 🌷 Minnie

After settling down on the white studio floor, Minnie sitting between Woozi and Dokyeom, Hoshi introduced the new Going Seventeen episode,

"Yes! Insomnia-Zero season two! Hoshi's Insomnia," and everyone together added "Zero!"

The group started clapping and cheering, as well as commenting on the dancer's MC role in this episode. The female member had been excited for filming another edition of the Insomnia-Zero episode since Carats seemed to have really enjoyed the first one - and the members did too. While the guys reminisced about last year's episode, the dancer seemed to have spaced out, thinking about what she could add to the table once each member would lie down on the mattress behind her. She got startled by the boys' sudden clapping, making her do the same and the producer of the group chuckle next to her.

Hoshi continued his job of being the host for that day and explained the new rules that got added, blaming them on the delay in filming the episode. For the first time, the rest of the group heard that not only they themselves would participate in Insomnia-Zero, but the GoSe staff members would too, turning it into another challenge between Seventeen and Going Seventeen.

After the introduction and explanation, everyone was finally able to settle down on the grey mattresses, that got laid out for them to sit on, getting ready for Dino to be the first victim to lie down.

As soon as his back hit the soft material, Seungkwan didn't hesitate to start, "Dino is busy composing songs these days. If you count the number of songs he had made, he could almost release an EP mini album."

"Oh, right, right," Jeonghan agreed, placing a hand on Minnie's back, who was sitting on his left, "Taking after his older sister." Earning a chuckle from the girl, but that quickly faded once the '98 Liner opened his mouth again, "Yeah, just... better."

"Heyy!" She spoke up, "This is about him," pointing at the youngest lying down, "Not me." Receiving a mocking talking face from Seungkwan that she copied.

DK continued, "Dino composes songs every day at home, so he does it even at dawn when I'm sleeping." He went on, explaining how the weird Hip-Hop noises the Maknae would produce, kept him up at night, making the others laugh as he tried imitating them.

"I respect him," Seungkwan added, "I really want to give him a round of applause," which the group then did, being proud of the '99 Liner.

Wonwoo was next to speak, "Dino, hasn't he found a hobby these days?" To which Hoshi quickly replied, "Growing out a mullet." Making the rest errupt in laughter at the unexpected and sudden answer.

"My babies, I hope you grow up well," Woozi commented.

"You're raising them very well, Dino," Minnie added with a bright smile, still laughing from the tiger's statement.

But Hoshi was not done with his part of the roast that he had started, "When we made a comeback with 'Rock With You' this time around, Dino has a piercing on his lips right here. What do you all think of it?" Expressing his dislike towards what was clearly their stylist's decision, and as much as Carats seemed to love it, he clearly wasn't a fan.

Seungkwan was quick to defend the man next to him, "We didn't say anything at all! He was just asking," after the group seemed to have a hard time calming down their laughter.

Before they knew it, the time was already up, and the youngest rose up from the makeshift bed. While Minnie and Vernon couldn't stop laughing, Dokyeom made sure to compliment and remind him of the amount of screentime he would get, thanks to the members.

"There's no time to be quiet when it's Dino's turn," Vernon commented.

"And Carats love the mullet," Minnie let him know as he was putting his shoes back on, giving her a quick look and a hum, "Mh," making her press her lips together and the '98 Liner next to her nudge her while laughing.

Next up was the man to her left. Patting his back, she pushed him to get up, "Off you go," she told him in English.

Even before he was lying down, some of the members already started thinking about what they would be able to say about him.

"If we start gossiping about Vernon, he won't be able to let it slide," Woozi reminded everyone, "Can you see those innocent eyes?"

"The piercing all-seeing eyes," Minnie described, referring to their past Don't Lie episode and his famous eyes.

Again, one member didn't hesitate to start as soon as his back hit the mattress, this time is being Dokyeom who replaced his seat next to the girl, "When will you remove the 100 parcels at our home?"

"Now everyone knows about Vernon's shopping addiction," the female member spoke, looking at the youngster.

When comments about his feet started coming from left and right, Minnie wanted to close her ears and forget everything she heard, that's the last thing she would want to know about her members... sometimes, she cursed her dirty mind.

The girl kept on looking at his lying form when a thought crossed her mind, "You know, some say that Tom Holland looks like he has a frog in his mouth when he closes it," looking around for someone to nod their head but everyone was watching her with confusion written all over their faces, "I think Vernon looks like that sometimes."

"Like Tom Holland?" Mingyu questioned.

"No, as if he had a frog in his mouth," making the men around her laugh, Dokyeom hit her, and she even got Vernon to chuckle. But before she could defend herself, the time was already over.

Immediately, after he stood up, some of the members pointed out him having worn shoes the entire time, which explained his big feet that they had mentioned earlier.

"I was wondering what you were talking about. It was about my shoes," he smirked, which made Minnie kick his leg softly as soon as he was close enough to her. The rapper looked at her expectedly but understood the look on her face quickly, chuckling and shaking his head, "I remember that about the frog" He changed the subject, both laughing at her previous statement.

Next up was Seungkwan, and, oh was everyone ready for the upcoming roast.

"Don't calm down," S.Coups told the younger one, "You'll hear gossip about you as soon as you start."

"You should be nervous," Minnie added.

"I think if Dino does the gossip about Seungkwan, his heart will skyrocket," Woozi commented.

Mingyu started once the '98 Liner was lying down completely,

As the guys started talking about his eating habits and apparent diet, Minnie kept herself out of it, not wanting to comment on that matter, but she laughed along, knowing it was all jokes in the end anyways.

"What I really wanted to tell Seungkwan was," Dino spoke up, "You know, he tells me what not to do more than what to do. I did my makeup like this," and he went on giving examples of when the singer told the Maknae to not do something. "Seungkwan, don't use Instagram." His last statement made the entire group laugh out loud, leaning onto each other, clapping or even standing up. Minnie got up from the floor and held onto the youngest's arm, laughing all the way.

"Good job Dino!" She and DK praised him, hugging his sides.

"The Turtle Chips. Don't hug the Turtle Chips," Dokyeom told him when Minnie got reminded of another picture.

"Don't eat your hat," referencing to one of his photoshoots earlier this year, making the men around her laugh and Seokmin leaning onto her, "It was fine for the one picture for the photoshoot. You don't have to do it again."

"No, it wasn't fine for the shoot. He shouldn't do it in general," Hoshi added.

His segment got to an end, and the members quickly tried coming up with excuses to their comments, "We just tried to be funny," the tiger tried explaining.

"You still seem to have a lot on me to gossip about," Seungkwan said, then pointing at Minnie, "You watch out now."

"What? Why me? Dino started it," she pointed at the Maknae who took her hand down,

"But it's your turn now," making her eyes widen as she forgot that she was next in the age order. Her reaction made them chuckle, and Seungkwan dragged her forward, "Yeah, come on, let's go."

After getting the heart rate monitor put on her, she took her shoes off and got comfortable in the bed, sitting down as she tried to calm herself down.

"What are you so nervous about?" Hoshi wondered, looking at the screen in front of them.

"You." She looked him dead in the eyes, making him chuckle.

As soon as the producers gave her the "ok" to lay down, she did, covering her body with the white blanket and closing her eyes. The girl started off with a steady 72 bpm.

"Who's gonna reveal her secret?" The tiger didn't hesitate to start the gossip with a smirk on his lips. Her heartbeat skyrocketed to 95 bpm.

"What secret?" Jeonghan wondered with wide eyes.

"How she always tries to look pretty as if no one would notice," Mingyu answered, receiving chuckles from the guys, and Dino quickly pointed at him, "Right! Even now," he described, "Getting her hair to sit perfectly, lying down slowly not to mess anything up. Don't try so hard." The female member pressed her lips together, trying to hide the smile, that was spreading on her lips.

"Minnie pretends as if her actions were natural," Hoshi was next to roast her, walking away from his place and standing in between the members and the girl, "You know when she's walking, and Carats call out for her 'Minnie! Minnie!'," he imitated the shouts, "And she turns around and flips her hair like this," the singer turned his back to the camera, and with one swift move, he looked over the shoulder and gave the camera a wink.

"And the wink! The wink!" Dokyeom added, laughing while all of the members were clapping from giggling too much.

"What is that?" The '96 Liner got closer to her, "What are you doing?"

Minnie turned to the side, not able to hide a smile anymore. Her action made the guys laugh even more,

"Don't hide. Stand to what you're doing," Dino pointed out, and she tried hushing him with a quick hand movement.

"She has a cold exterior," Jeonghan started, but got interrupted by Hoshi, "She tries to have it," who commented with a straight face, getting the guys to laugh and Minnie to grin.

"What Carats don't know though, is that she has been listening to Tayo every day ever since it came out," Mingyu mentioned,

"Tayo? The bus song?" Vernon wondered. The '97 Liner nodded, making even the producers start laughing, and the female member hid her face behind her hands, turning back on her back.

"She doesn't want to be cute," Joshua stated.

"She even got that nose piercing for it," Hoshi mentioned her new look for the comeback, "What's that supposed to show?" His dull question got him a round of chuckles.

"How tough and grown-up she is," Mingyu simply stated, grinning at the girl.

"Clearly," Seungkwan scuffed, "We all saw the Calvin Klein pictures." Which made the guys groan, and Minnie breathe out heavily.

"Don't give such an attitude on camera," the leader scolded her, "You decided to do those pictures."

"There's one," Seungkwan explained, "Where she's in a bathtub with headphones in."

"Oh, right right," DK agreed, and the other singer continued,

"And she opens her mouth like this," he copied the girl's pose but exaggerated the width of it.

The guys started laughing again, not thinking about their initial reaction to her photoshoot, while she had already pulled the blanket up higher to her chin, holding on tight to it.

"Who are you trying to impress?" Dino teased her with a smile, "Huh? Everyone knows you have abs, you don't have to do a photoshoot like that to show off." Earning him a slight pinch in the arm by the '96 Liner next to him.

"Or the one picture where she's in a kitchen with a hoodie on," Hoshi started again, "And her head is a bit down but she looks up and her mouth is open like that again," he exaggerated her pose, making everyone laugh once again.

The producers called out for her time to be over, and she ended her part with a heartbeat of 82 bpm.

Sitting up, she sent the entire group, that was looking at her, a blank stare.

"You know exactly, what we were talking about," Seungkwan stated before the girl got up and he backed up quickly, "Sorry," apologising in a high voice even though the girl didn't do anything specific. Instead of walking up to and chasing him, she continued staring,

"Don't hold a grudge," Mingyu told her, standing up to take the heart rate monitor from her. She diverted her gaze from Seungkwan to him, "You-," pointing at him, "Lie down. Lie down, and let's see." Chuckling, he took the machine from her arm and pushed past her to lie down before she sat down between Dino and Wonwoo. The youngest laughed at her antics but stopped as soon as she turned her head around, now looking at him, shutting him up quickly, before both of them started laughing together wholeheartedly.

The members started asking themselves out loud if there would be any content about Mingyu to talk about, making her and Woozi chuckle,

"There's enough," both commented at the same time, laughing at the coincidence.

Finally, the beanpole lied down completely, and the mess was about to start. Seungcheol began by teasing him about his obliviousness and not listening to the producers well enough, making the room chuckle and Mingyu turn around, his back facing the group. Then, Seungkwan started:

"In Insomnia-Zero 1, what was that thing again? When we went to an overseas concert, he held up his T-Shirt like this," illustrating his words, "so that the audience could see his buff abs."

Minnie looked disgusted by the story, "Oh god... I remember that," she sighed.

"But we can't go on overseas tours anymore," the '98 Liner continued, and the girl raised her head to get a better look at him, "And since we can't go abroad, the only way to come in contact with Carats is on the way to a fan signing event."

"Wait," the female dancer stopped him, laughing, "Why are you taking the shirt off?"

"Oh, pff," Seungkwan scuffed at her, "You know exactly why. You pointed it out to me." And Minnie immediately knew what he was talking about, making her laugh out loud and lean onto Wonwoo.

The singer continued telling the story of how they got to the fansign, his hands motioning around and even reenacting the situation.

As the guys were making fun of him and his way of "pleasing" the fans, compliments were also thrown at him about how a "born celebrity" he was and how great he looked, Minnie just kept her eyes on the lying man in front of them, knowing that he was getting uneasy.

"Jeonghan brought him underwear once. And it was a designer brand too," Hoshi started, letting everyone know what gossip was about to come next as everyone, of course, knew about what he was talking about.

"I guess he wanted to show off. So at a photoshoot, he was in a short top like this," pointing to his stomach, "and after deliberately revealing underwear," and the tiger raised his arms, putting his hands behind his head, flexing his arms and popping his hip slightly.

The girl jumped up, pointing at the dancer, "He did the same thing for the Social Club photoshoot!" She exclaimed, gaining the attention of the room.

"Really?" Hoshi wondered, making her nod and copy the pose again,

"He really wanted everyone to see his abs. Like God, we know. You don't have to lift your shirt every chance-" she got interrupted by laughs and shouts of "Fail!" from the men around her. The girl shifted her eyes towards the mattress and found Mingyu already glaring at her, to which she just smiled back sweetly.

"We were just getting started," the choreographer of the group sighed, pulling the female to stand next to him.

The '97 Liner on the floor tried getting himself out of the situation by closing his eyes again but had to come to the realization that he had failed.

"Like this," he raked a hand through his hair, pushing it back, "People will think I'm a pervert! When did I show off like that?"

"Stop pretending like you don't know," she pointed at the man in front of the group as he got back up on his feet and looked at the girl,

"And you shouldn't be the one to talk! You did a photoshoot in only underwear." His comment and the stare he gave her made her shut up and back up slightly, covering her mouth with her hand as she tried hiding a smile since she knew that she had lost that argument - she also realised that thanks to the "Ooooh"s and laughs from the other members.

"Apparently he speaks a lot of nonsense," Seungkwan explained, "And he's in a relationship right now." Talking about the producer in the second bed instead of his own group member, who was lying in front of him.

Minnie chuckled at the sudden change of subject, "Why are you bringing his private life into this?"

"People should know," the '98 Liner stated unfazed as if it was the most normal thing ever to talk about a staff member's love life on camera. Vernon seemed to notice the older man twitching, meaning he wasn't asleep like everyone thought.

"Minnie," the singer approached her, "to Seunghoon, who's in a relationship-," the girl looked into one of the cameras with a questioning look 'Is this okay? Are we supposed to talk about his love life?' Mingyu was quick to interrupt the younger member,

"Why do you pass the buck to her for what you started?" Backing up the female member, who was shaking her head at the scene.

"I didn't pass the buck to her. I just think, she could speak very well about it."

[Minnie's Relationship Advice 101]

"But I just want to say this," the Maknae saved the girl from starting something she might regret, "Minnie would say something like," he cleared his throat, looking at the staff member, "I hope you nurture a love as lovely as a tulip." Making the woman behind him laugh, holding onto his shoulders,

"What?" She wondered out loud, looking down at the youngest, who was quick to look up and explain himself, "Because you're a lyricist." But she just shook her head and patted his hair.

Jeonghan was the first to switch the attention of everyone back to Dokyeom, making everyone turn their heads to his lying form when Seungkwan started explaining Seokmin and his grudge-holding, giving different examples of situations.

"But his grudge-holding makes you sometimes start to feel bad," Minnie spoke up, "He did that attitude change at me once, and I," she put a hand on her chest, "started feeling bad because I didn't know what I did."

"What did you do?" S.Coups wanted to know.

"I don't...," the female member started thinking back on the mentioned moment, "Ah!" she remembered, "I forgot to order his food. But he was normal after we ate." Making the group and Seokmin chuckle,

"He does get nicer once he's eaten," Woozi stated.

The story about Joshua and DK was getting more and more interesting, with the older one not leaving out any details and making sure that Carats, as well as the members, knew how it all actually went down. Seungkwan was the man in the middle of the two, who stopped the gossiping session, explaining that the '97 Liner also had to reveal his point of view later on.

"As one who's been his buddy for a long time," Hoshi explained, talking about Woozi, "It's true. He's really stubborn." Getting nods of approval from the other members. "When admitting something, it's not like 'Oh, that's right'. But he admits it like, 'Yeah, now that I think about it. It's not bad.'" He imitated his voice and posture, receiving chuckles from everyone around him.

"Minnie," Seungcheol got her attention, "You spend a lot of time with him in the studio, you should have something to say about him."

She chuckled, leaning back slightly, holding onto her feet as she was sitting in the criss-cross-applesauce position, "Yeah..." she nodded, "He is really stubborn..." her voice seemed like she was teasing the older member and the guys around her became very interested in what she was about to say, "Oooh, really?" Seungkwan wondered, exaggerating how surprised he was.

"He used to sometimes say some lyrics aren't good or that they don't fit the vibe of the song," the girl told the group, looking at the producer with a smirk, "And he did that with my lyrics for Anyone. So I put them aside and started working and something new, but he found the old ones a few weeks later and suddenly was like, 'Oh Minnie, why didn't you show me this earlier? These sound so good.'" The member started laughing, being able to imagine the other man doing exactly that, "And I told him that those were the lyrics from the beginning, but he just went 'No no, I wouldn't decline those'. I just left it at that, I couldn't discuss that with him. I was so done." She ended the rant with laughing men surrounding her and Dino leaning onto her as well as Woozi smiling brightly at the memory.

At the end of his segment, as soon as he opened his eyes even just a little bit, shouts from left and right could be heard,

"No, don't defend yourself!"

"We don't want to hear it!"

"Save it."

Right when he was about to stand up, Minnie patted Wonwoo's back in a comforting manner before he got to get up and lie down.

"You know, when Wonwoo talks," Mingyu started right away, not waiting for another second as soon as the rapper's back hit the white mattress, "he uses a lot of pretentious words.

"Mh, right. As if he's the lyricist," Hoshi looked at the female member with a smirk on his lips, which only him a blank stare with the tiniest smile from her in return. Continuing their gossip about the '96 Liner's use of pretentious words, the girl kept her eyes on his form, having to hide a smile once he saw his change in facial expression.

"But I think Wonwoo's gotten brighter," the tiger commented, "You know, he used to be shy and all around people. But now he's trying really hard to socialize with people."

The members nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, Minnie!" Seungkwan suddenly interrupted the dancer, making her head turn to him quicker than lightspeed.

"What?" She wondered wide-eyed.

"You should socialize with other people more too," he explained. Her facial expression changed to a softer one, hearing his statement made her relax.

"No, thanks," she shook her head and raised her hands in defence with a grin playing on her lips.

Once Dokyeom showed everyone Wonwoo's way of running, Minnie and Hoshi were leaning onto each other, not able to control their laughter. Just as everyone got themselves together again and before anyone could continue, the girl noticed something,

"He doesn't wear his glasses during interviews but keeps them on now when he's sleeping?" DK hit her shoulders as everyone started laughing at her remark.

"Right! And then he asks what it says on the cue cards behind the cameras," Joshua agreed with the dancer, who kept her eyes on the '96 Liner,

"What do you have to see with your eyes closed, huh?" She teased him, earning her chuckles from the guys and Dino's loud laugh.

----

"Well, even if we could let his bangs slide," Jeonghan came into the gossip round for Hoshi, "What's up with his eyebrow slit?" Getting loud laughs from every member sitting on the floor.

"It's over the top," Joshua commented.

"He's in his bad-boy era," the female dancer added, "His bangs, the dark make-up, the slit. All of that just to pretend to be cool..."

"Pretend to be cool," Mingyu repeated, laughing hard as he was standing behind the girl.

The choreographer got off the bed, coming to sight with the rest of the group looking at him, also telling him to not defend himself while Minnie smiled brightly at him, patting the empty space next to her. After he sat down, the girl leaned into his side, hugging his arms tightly,

"But I really like the eyebrow thing," she let him know, making him chuckle and pat her head,

"I know."

----

For Joshua, Minnie decided to enjoy the storytelling of her group, sitting back, laughing at the memories and new facts that came up. It was only when he got up to sit down with the rest that she spoke up,

"Oh no, he's upset," she noticed the look on her older brother's face and giggled.

----

"Sometimes I'm worried that," Hoshi was the first to speak, "Jeonghan might have problems soon."

"Because of his coughing?" the girl next to him asked, thinking of how many times she had told him to stop that habit of his. Instead of answering, the '96 Liner suddenly imitated the dry, throat-hurting cough that the members had been hearing for years.

"But you know what?" Seungkwan added to the conversation, "He's so stubborn." His statement made Minnie turn around to point at him, "Yes! We've been telling him to not cough like that, especially before recording starts. Because it really does sound painful."

"We still love you," Minnie spoke in between the comments all of the other guys were throwing at the '95 Liner once he had lifted the blanket up, looking over at the group.

----

And then, finally, the glorious moment all of Seventeen, but one, had been waiting for: S.Coups' round.

Everyone was getting noticeably more excited by the thought of being able to talk more about their leader.

"Can you give us three more minutes for S.Coups on the house? We have a lot..." Seungkwan asked and Minnie backed him up,

"He wasn't here for the first one, we should get some extra time with him," Looking at the producers expectedly.

After getting past the question of "where does Choi Seungcheol get his money from?" and his dieting habits, the conversation was guided by Woozi,

"What's amazing about him is that, like a really expensive watch, for example, he leaves it everywhere."

"That's true," Minnie pointed from her half-lying position, with her head in Mingyu's lap/on his crossed legs, with her legs stretched out to the front, "And then he gets mad if we wear it."

"Right right right," the '97 Liner tapped her arm.

"He always buys something and throws it away," Dokyeom pointed out.

"Yeah, like he leaves his expensive bike everywhere," Hoshi also commented, making the girl giggle,

"The bike that he promised to use more often with Mingyu," making everyone out of the group laugh.

** the descriptions are as of the latest eps when I made this post. Don't @ me 4+ months down the line if they've done something from 2020 in 2021 as well.

A variety show following the 13 members of the kpop idol group Seventeen as they complete various missions or events over the weeks.

For the most part, each theme covers 2 episodes, with special extra footage coming after the preview for the next week's program every time.

Because of the ever-revolving themes, it is hard to say specifically what is done one episode to the next, and episodes can be watched in any order (just watch #1 before #2 of a particular theme).

Some of my favorite themes have been:

Don't Lie (Played 3 separate times across GOSE 2020 and 2021).

Don't lie features Seventeen playing a game where they try to figure out which among them are "Mafia" (and the Mafia try to kill the rest of the team) while simultaneously hunting around various sets for hundreds of dollars of real money. Cutthroat and chaotic, it's always worth a laugh! (They did play just the Mafia Game in the 2019 season (I think), but the treasure hunt modifier is the best thing ever done).

Mousebusters (2020 series and god I hope they play again).

9 members of Seventeen don jumpsuits, arm themselves with food-coloring water guns, and across a massive outdoor warehouse area must hunt and capture 4 "rats"- members born in the Year of the Rat- who are hiding throughout the area. Members can escape capture, be broken out of prison, and use a variety of special skills to try and evade the other 9 until time is up and the losing team is doused with flour.

Debate Night (I believe this week's episode of GOSE will mark the third time they've done this).

Members of Seventeen divide into two teams of 6, with member Wonwoo as moderator for a series of chaotic screaming matches intellectual debates covering important topics. Previous topics have included "Which is better, being immune to heat or cold?" and "Travel through time for 3 seconds or teleport for 10 and risk member Joshua coming back from the bathroom still peeing".

The Ad Lib Game (Done in 2020 and 2021 (2020 is funnier))

Members are given a scene to complete- such as planning video content or auditioning to become trainees at entertainment companies. They must keep the flow going and keep it ridiculous... but each member has on their shoulder or neck a TENS device (electric massage) that will start zapping them if they laugh. The goal is to not get zapped while also ensuring the other members are tortured as much as humanly possible.

Let's Go Seventeen (2021)

Members are let loose inside a gym with a massive inflatable obstacle course and must race against one another (and keep their pants on (harder than it sounds with these guys)) in order to determine who claims the top spot. And, in the epic finale, all 13 members attack at once.

13 Raiders (2021)

Members of Seventeen are taken to a deserted island (no really, it's an island with nothing on it) and must follow fragments of treasure maps to find the complete map and claim the treasure hidden on the island... Unless you're S.Coups and Jeonghan, in which case you immediately zero in on the picnic area and spend the entire time roasting meat and eating ramen while the other members scramble to find the treasure before their 3 hours are up.

The Tag (2020)

Members of Seventeen- some in groups and some individually- must enter an office building and search for missing keys in the dark. Only one key will unlock the front door and allow them to escape, but they will be hunted by three murderers within the building who are trying to take them captive (and apparently one ghost who only 2-3 members saw)...

--And 4 members will have to be rescued by the production director after accidentally breaking a door handle and trapping themselves in a supply closet. Because of course they did.

Four Wheeled Rider (2020)

Members go to a small cart track and compete in 4 wheel bike races mario-kart style, with powerups, boosts, and penalties carried out by the other members. Penalties include being attacked with squirt guns, having barricades (some of them human) put across the track, spinning in circles, or having to eat entire bananas before being allowed to continue the race.

All episodes can be found on the group's YouTube channel fully subbed. For most I recommend setting the play speed at 75%, they are chaos personified.

** Drinking Game Modifiers: Do a shot any time Hoshi mentions (even indirectly via gestures or wardrobe) tigers || Do a shot every time the captions mention Jun was a child actor.

omg law :000 i know quite a few ppl studying law from this site 👀👀 i’ve actually been on jury duty for the past couple weeks (im in the us) and it’s really interesting how lawyers do their thing..much respect for all the work you have to do bc i could never lol But I’m a teacher! Will be starting my first full year in the classroom in the coming weeks so i’ve been preparing myself for that :’]

I love me some competition!! I get really into it but not too much (because we all know annoying ppl like that 😕) Maybe not seungkwan/hoshi level of competitive but maybe a level below them? which reminds me: did you watch the latest gose ep with them playing kickball?? I think that was one of my favorite eps of all time 😍😹 i love it whenever svt plays sports bc they’re actually all p good at it, or at least they give it 100%, which makes it fun :D

Hmm it’s so hard to pick a fave food 😭 but I hafta say anything with noodles (pasta, stir-fry, noodle soup - except chicken noodle soup lmao etc) and dumplings <333333 I can eat those every meal for the rest of my life tbh Also potatoes, cant go wrong with potatoes in any way, shape, or form :PPPP I cook sometimes, when I need to or when there’s something I really wanna try making; otherwise I live off of my family’s cooking lol As for dessert, I like rice pudding...and pie, pie > cake honestly

honestly you sold me there, i love idol groups who have like 2 braincells 🤣 i will willingly watch their one hour mafia games and debate night, i just watched their episode on knowing bros/men on a mission (which was prob like 80 min long...) and it was so hilarious omg i loved it!! minghao was so funny in it too even tho he is not the loudest in the group (which honestly i relate to a lot (the part about not being the loudest, not the part about being funny lmao)), and also his dance moves! so good! i can see why you bias him hehe; youtube has been recommending me the gose content lately and im excited to watch it :))

omg i know right...i asked my mom this (about how she remembers all the chinese characters) and she said apparently it is not as hard as it seems bc a bunch of characters are compound words (using two different characters to make one word or something)? but i think it is prob still hard if you forget a word or something bc you can't sound it out like in english. that's why i decided to learn hangul honestly bc the korean writing system is so much simpler (and makes sense) compared to other asian languages LOL. that's so cool that you could act as the translator for your family and the woman in french! did you learn french on your own or do you just naturally pick up languages easily? it is def true you forget languages when you use them less, my canto is a lot less smooth when im not at home (like i am now bc of covid). but i think at least you will have a foundation for the language so that helps a lot for practicing it again!!

wait that makes sense about china line making korean easier, like when lucas speaks i feel like i can kinda understand him better bc he's not as fluent in korean as the native members?? i do also know some veryyy basic japanese from watching anime hahaha but i think i am less familiar with it now bc i watch way more korean content nowadays 😂

ahh you understand me about hating bugs <3 im honestly not a huge fan of real nature besides like basic hikes on paved paths 😂 also i totally get u about being scared of heights, my mom and brother both are too 😬 i do know how to swim (i actually had to take a swim test for my college to graduate lmao), but when i was younger i rly didnt like water but since i was forced to learn to swim i think im okay now? i am lowkey afraid of the ocean tho bc it's so big and also i've watched too many shows about sharks in the water lol (even tho i know thats prob a bit irrational). oh another thing i dont really like is intense rollercoasters...im okay with the ones that dont go upside down, but there are ones that are at like 90 degree angles and go backwards and im like nooooo thanks 😅

OMG i just looked up jeonghan with long hair and i also legit thought he was a woman 😧 (but a very beautiful one) and yea i totally didnt know he and joshua (jihan) were a thing! are they like the nomin of svt 🥺 joshua seems like he has such a calming aura and jeonghan seems like the prankster of the group hehe. im interested to see if my biases will change as i watch more svt content!

ohhhhhh i see, interesting!! ohhh yeah i think korean writing system is easier, too; when i see chinese character to me they doesn’t look like letters yk? in my mind i see it as a tiny drawing i should memorize the meaning of, while hangul does seem like weird letters, but still letters 😅 i guess that’s because both you and i use latin (and i also use cyrillic) alphabet to write so it does seem weird to us? but perhaps it seems so natural and easy to your mom for example or someone who uses chinese characters to write! uhh i learned french in school but in addition to school classes i also learned it on my own bc yeah i reeeally love languages and i naturally pick up a new language easily, i guess that’s my talent 😅 but yeah you’re right! if i ever need it guess it’ll be easy to refresh my memory! ohh so you’ve been practicing canto more lately hmm??
