Sticker update!! My guitar case is slowly getting more and more covered in stickers and I love it
Special credit should go to @firesidetextiles ko-fi sticker club, source of all the starry animal stickers, the glow in the dark skeleton puppy and ufo stickers, the embroidery scissor sticker, and several other stickers I have been sneakily adding into packages I send my friends. I get a sticker every month and it’s always a surprise because I am bad at time and sometimes there’s bonus stuff!

Do not ever underestimate my capacity to make writing as difficult as possible for myself. This is why I am immune to AI usage. I cannot do anything "the easy way" or I will feel like it's too simplistic and fails to fully encompass the "vision". I have been trying for three years to write a cohesive, somewhat high-concept but overall standard fantasy novel, and I finally got a bit of the rewriting done for it today, and then promptly was like, "Actually this requires building out an entire experimental form that requires an above average capacity for typesetting and a lot of skill with poetic symmetry to convey the precise sense of disorientation you are trying to accomplish."
And the worst part is, I'm probably gonna do it.
#this would be SO FUCKING EASY IN FILM. I'M MAD.#but nOOOO I'm out here trying to write what should basically be high fantasy endless sunshine in PROSE#because FUCK ME IG#to be clear I half ass a lot of things but let it never be said that I have made art without my whole ass#also I don't know that it is in anyway an original form (and I can give examples of where it is used. in scripts lol.)#but like. for the exact combo of things i want to employ it for in this format I think it is at least HIGHLY unusual#anyway that is for a later megs to deal with.#if I'm being honest I was admittedly like 'at some point I will figure out the exact format problem I'm having' and here we are#*ETERNAL SUNSHINE jfc i knew id sniffed a typo i just could not for the life of me figure out what it was#good fucking god

I have the opposite project with my final project for my writing class than I do for the anthropology one: I like what I’m doing for it but I keep wanting to take the individual stories in directions where they’ll be longer than will actually work for me to finish the assignment on time

Saw the Lackadaisy pilot and i just got teleported to when i was 14-15 yo and obsessed with webcomics.
People back in the day used to joke about Homestuck never ending but a lot of popular webcomics that started around that time are either still going or in limbo.
I think alot of artist probably got burned out working on long running webcomics because they spent too much time on individual pages; not to mention that because of that they would release one page once or twice per week, which probably contributed to people losing interest, especially after webtoons started becoming more popular.
#one thing ive noticed is that some artists abandoned the comic format and are going for illustrated scripts and prose#like paranatural and cucumber quest (even tho the former has been on hiatus for a long time)#also lots of newer webcomic artists use tapas or webtoon but i dont see alot of people talking about them#one newer webcomic that has its own website and got popular is ranfren but i stopped following it because i kinda got bored of it#sorry for rambling im procrastinating on studying and also idk if what im saying even makes sense#random thoughts#btw i meant that cucumber quest has been in hiatus not paranatural i dont want to rewrite that tag
