okay no but thinking about ritsu with tourette’s, right? and this boy is like… the king of suppression because he feels like he needs to be the perfect student and son and all that jazz and he’s also so embarrassed by the fact that he can’t control his body. so he suppresses like there’s no tomorrow and it hurts so much but he does it anyways. he lets himself tic at home, but even then he’s so used to suppression he forces it to be mild so his family thinks it’s better than it is. he lets loose more in his room by himself, but even then he sometimes has trouble doing it. he frequently has tic attacks in his room:/
anyways so let’s say one day mob and reigen and serizawa and teru and tome and shou and dimple are all at spirits and such, right? and like ritsu has student council stuff or something idk anyways and serizawa asks reigen where he gets his fidget toys because one of his classmates has ts and has been searching but can’t find any they like. and before reigen can respond, mob speaks up and is like “oh you should ask ritsu” and everyone just. stares at him because reigen has like a box of fidget toys in his office and an individual stress ball for each person and ritsu has quite literally never used them. and they’re like “why?” so mob is like “he has some fidget toys in his room—he doesn’t really take them places. i don’t know why he doesn’t. they really help his ts”. and everyone just stares x2
so eventually, reigen is like “ritsu has ts???” and mob just cocks his head and says “yes??? did you guys not know this?” and absolutely NONE of them knew he had ts because ritsu is THAT good at suppressing and if he’s in a position where he can’t suppress, he finds a way to leave so he’s alone. and like mob didn’t fully realize that ritsu was suppressing because he lives with ritsu and sometimes hears it from his room and sees it at dinner and he notices the little signs that other people don’t see unless they know and he’s like “you… really didn’t know??? does he not tic around you guys?” and then everyone comes to the realization that ritsu is HARDCORE suppressing
anyways i think it’d be sweet if reigen sat down and talked with him and ritsu is super stand-offish at first and snappy and then reigen says something like “we’d rather have you as you are—you don’t need to try to be the perfect ritsu because you’re already the perfect ritsu” or something along those lines. and ritsu starts having a breakdown and like it takes awhile for him to be comfortable ticcing in public. he starts small with the spirits and such gang and then slowly lets it happen during school and stuff and everyone is just. so proud of him. he’s less tense all the time and it helps him be more vocal about when he’s in pain and needs help and he starts to actually use his fidget toys and. yeah. feelings.
#oops this got longer than i intended uhhhhhhh#anyways i just think he has ts#he told me personally#and i just think that ritsu slowly becoming comfortable enough with everyone around him to simply BE himself and like him realizing that he#he isn't embarrassing to be around and that just having ts isn't embarrassing and just like. reigen giving him massages for free and teru#finding fun kt tape for him to use and shou giving heated massages and serizawa picking up fidget toys he thinks ritsu would like and tome#and tome and dimple just supporting him and calling him out if he's being all broody and self-deprecating about it (in a Good way not mean#way) and then mob sitting him down and having a serious talk about emotions and pain and suppressing with him and how he shouldn't do that#anymore and he wouldn't want mob to suppress if it were him and that he has nothing to be ashamed of because he's fine as he is and mob#loves each and every part of him and. AHUGFXDGCHJKLNBHVGFDCSVBGHJTGFDCSDXVFBGHNJKHYGTFDVCBGVNHBJKLJUYJTFCDGVBHJKUYTFRDFXCGVHUJYTFRDFXCGVHBJK#i just. have feelings.#and if anyone is ever mean to ritsu about his ts he's got like the whole spirits and such gang on his side and also the awakening lab kids#and the ex-claw members and the mob recruits the body improvement club to look intimidating and the telepathy club and just#🥺🥺🥺#it's about ritsu learning to love himself and to not find who he is embarrassing and not putting on a front because he feels like he has to#ahem#i am. fine.#sO ANYWAYS THANKS IF YOU ACTUALLY MANAGED TO READ ALL THIS IUYGTFDXFGCHUIJOMNUBYVTFG DCGVBHNJMK#mp100#ritsu kageyama#ritsu with tourette's

Aight. Since people are busy talking about Valkyrie... I'M GOING TO TALK ABOUT KNIGHTS BECAUSE CASTLE OF MY HEART IS AMAZING, anywayss—
What's amazing about this mv is the fact that it gives emphasis on the actual role of each knight and what they represent not only within their unit, but also within each other's lives.
Exhibit A: The Kings and The Pillars.
This here is pretty explanatory on what they represent, Kasa and Leo being the kings of Knights because they were the appointed leaders of Knights, but it also represents the values they have that makes them the perfect choice for king. All Leo wanted to do was to share joy through his music and protect the ones he love with all his power. While Kasa wanted to do his best, to be confident in his abilities and to do well by his group.
Arashi and Ritsu being the pillars is because they were the additions that made Knights a solid enough unit to compete back then, other than that, they showed to provide support to each and every member of the unit.
Exhibit B: The Soldier.
So we have here, the kings, the pillars, and only one left — the soldier.
I don't think people realize just how much Izumi has contributed to the group. He was the one who kept it all together when Leo left, he was the one who drove it forward, he was the one who kept it alive, he was the one who laid the foundation for Kasa when he joined Knights. He was an one-man army who carried the weight of it all on his shoulders until he was on the verge of breaking.
Exhibit C: Chronicles of Knights.
What I really love about the bridge is that it talks about what they have learned through the years, what they have learned in being a true knight, and what they have learned in being true to themselves.
"I'll miss those innocent moments."
"I've noticed that..."
"But I'll grow up and be more mature."
"I'm not going to let hardships stop us, even if it's a love that's been unforgivable from the start."
"We've decided to overcome it and we believe each other. I want to protect you with my own hands. To the future that I should return to. I'm going to carry out my will of my own choosing. To fulfill my non-negotiable vow that one day we will surely transcend fate and live together."
"Castle of my heart..."
Their love is unforgivable because of the challenges, of the terrible things they will face if they indulge in it. Their love is unforgivable of the things they are willing to do whatever it takes to protect the ones they love, even if they are scarred and can no longer see clearly from the blood. They are willing to fight for their love even if stones and insults were thrown at them, even if they were to be walked over of spit on. They are willing to fight for this "unforgivable" love because of the things they will face and the things they will do for their love and they don't even care about that anymore because all that matters to them is their love.
And that part is clear in the mv because it is tied to "We'll be Knights". The chessboard, the rose petals, even the lyrics, it is connected.
"Even when it hurts, even when it scars my soul. Even if I'm stained with blood and can't see what's in front of me.
Facing one another, with a gaze that looks past beyond. Swinging out a sword whose blade reflects the moon above. Just the things that are dear is what we'll protect. For that purpose alone... this is why we're being called to fight."
"We're Knights."
This is their duty, their non-negotiable vow they want to fulfill in order to reach a better future. This is Knights.
But from where they are now... I can tell that they are on their way to reaching that future. The dark days are still there, yes, but they'll overcome it, they always did.

alrighty its post mortkranken thoughts time! under a cut so that spoilers are easier to avoid
(did one for obscuary here)
for a spoiler free thought first off, though, i think the time between episodes both works for and against the story. it's a good pacing so far imo, even if it's disappointing there's not much to do in the game between episode drops. there's enough time to let people analyze the most recent episode and secrets revealed, come up with guesses as to how things connect, and when that starts dying down, there's time to hypothesize about the next episode because teasers have started dropping. Game wise, there's time for people who have been playing for a while to get farther in cases so that once the episode does drop, it's easy to go through whenever you're ready. On the other hand, the time inbetween, the teasers can possibly hype a episode up a bit too much, i think that happened with obscuary and may have contributed to how the episode felt unbalanced (at least to me). High expectations mean there's a lot that could go wrong when things end up differently. I don't think they should release the episodes sooner, that would be an overload, just something i've been making note of and trying to not expect too much from a new episode so that i enjoy what comes out rather than being disappointed with what didn't
spoiler wise, i'll follow the format i had for obscuary!
jiro is winning the idgaf war and i absolutely love that for him. I think the writers did a good job of makng him the straight man to yuri's antics and thoroughly enjoyed scenes with him
yuri... is so silly i love him sm i want to kiss his cheek so that he bluescreens on the spot. i love that he seems like he's gonna be a scientist with questionable morals leaning to the evil side but then he ends up being so expressive about every little thing. he's smart but not manipulative mastermind ike if he's thinking something you Will know it
there's an interesting dynamic between the two which I'm looking forward to learning more about. Some of the few times where Jiro outwardly emotes are during interactions with Yuri. (Also with pc with the body lmao)
now for the story content, not an analysis of what things might mean but just overall storytelling
I think this did well with bringing the standard back up from the obscuary episode. for my thoughts on that, feel free to check out the other post i made. it was far more balanced with the investigation driving things, mc getting closer to the two ghouls, and the progression of mc's curse for the overarching story. the cameos from all of the other characters was exciting to see while going through, and was great for showing how different characters interact with each other. I think each of those small moments showed a lot about the characters.
for a few examples: alan's regrets for not saving naoki, highlighting how much he values being able to save people and blames himself for not doing enough even when he couldn't stop it; leo taking the documents, seeming to just do it to be antagonistic, but actually genuinely helping out both mc's investigation and alan's ass if the files went missing; ren and ritsu talking about ramen in the store, they're getting closer despite ren not liking working at his job and always complaining that ritsu is there, clearly they're starting to become friends; the three vice captains meeting and the absolute tension there
i could go on, each of those little cameos was meaningful imo, not all of them served to progress the main story, but they're important to see, to show how the ghouls are interacting with each other and how they act when mc isn't investigating their house
I think the investigation portion was a little rough near the end. The case wrapup wasn't as satisfying as I'd like, I think the best two episodes for that so far were vagastrom and sinostra, but the framing of it makes sense considering yuri's stigma. (specifically the part of the wrapup where we found the patient was behind things, the fight at the end was something i really enjoyed) It's something that lets yuri process everything instantaneously, so it makes sense that the answer is just given in a monologue, even if it ends up being somewhat unsatisfying. Yuri is a character who likes his monologue, and he's found everything out and is confident in his answer. I don't think that he would present the information in another way
The foreshadowing in this chapter was...... well it could've been more subtle. I kinda wish that while Jiro was leading mc through Mortkranken, there would be more attention drawn to multiple things, aside from exactly what would be relevant. I think that may have also led to the unsatisfying reveal
the very ending with the assembly was also well done, imo. it reiterates that the faculty want mc to gain the trust of the ghouls and is doing so. but it also calls into question where that request is coming from. right now, mc is very much being used by the faculty. she was pushed into the investigator role, pushed into being a student, pushed into earning their trust, threatened with a possible punishment for not being able to prove it. it serves her as well to grow close with the ghouls and be an investigator, and she clearly is, but I really don't think that's anywhere near the reason the chancellor put her in that position. we always keep the spy thing in the back of our minds while reading, while she's essentially also advertised as a spy to the ghouls
the phone call between hyde and sho was both surprising to see, but also not. Sho has a campus chat with hyde where he says that he's using hyde to get ahead any way he can. Learning that hyde is giving secret missions, it's unsurprising that Sho is one of the students he's using. I think this would be too obvious for the whole spy/traitor thing, however... there was one other campus chat that came into my mind, the one between subaru and leo. Subaru's waiting for MC for lunch, Leo approaches and sees he's got food from Sho's food truck, and comments on how Sho is really good at the friend act. Acting like he's a friend to customers to convince them to buy more. While the likely reading is Leo just lying to mess with Subaru (and honestly I wouldn't doubt that), I think it could also be that it's a true analysis of Sho.
He is good a the friend act. Sho has no problem lying to someone to appear nice. He did it to an old lady looking for a train station in the vagastrom episode. Leo told her he had no clue where it was, Sho gave her instructions and after she left, Leo asked how he knew and Sho told him oh I didn't. A lot of Sho's flaws are looked over because he's nice, when he is kinda an asshole a lot. I don't think that he's using a friend act on Subaru, but it's genuinely hard to tell. The scene at the beginning of the episode was cute, but depending on how you read it, it could be Sho playing it up for the bet with Leo.
I doubt the phone call from the end will actually be how we learn about the traitor, but I also think that Sho has a lot more resources than most to be a traitor
#tdb spoilers#tokyo debunker spoilers#tokyo debunker#tdb#mortkranken#my stuff#i'll leave discussing the kyklos up to other people lol

"Wait, I need to delete my browser history first!" – Jeon Chiaki, Son of Solomon, Circa. 2024
After a millenia(not really), I finally made an oc for WHB and I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders!
With that, I offer you my son, Chi-chi Jeon Chiaki <3 now if you will excuse me I am going to rest my achey hands adjfgfdhd
Voice Actors:
(KR)Lee Sang-ho (Lilac Cookie from Cookie Run Kingdom, Wise from Zenless Zone Zero)
(EN)Howard Wang (Xie Lian from TCGF, Louis from Morariarty the Patriot)
(JP)Daiki Yamashta (Ritsu Sakuma from ensemble stars)
Personality: Most of the time Chiaki is level-headed and calm, not one to jump the gun onsite. Also quite sarcastic and sassy, it’s a form of coping as well as a defense mechanism for himself. Despite his calm demeanor, he’s not the type to sit back and take things. As someone who’s quite observant, he’s the type to analyze first and act after. However, all trains of thought are gone when his loved ones are on the line and his fury will set ablaze that even makes Satan blush(literally…). Chiaki, despite having gone through enough, has carried an outlook on life that extends far beyond optimism, always the type to believe that things will turn out okay while sticking to reality. In his own way, Chiaki can be rather playful and cheeky with most and due to his charm alone, he can coax others into doing what he wants to meet his own goals– for the greater good of course! Considering his past experiences, he acts as a maternal figure for many, especially those who lacked such internal warmth, but has a spot big enough for Chiaki to hold them. Chiaki is a chivalrous pervert, but with some virtue. He tends to get distracted by his own lewd thoughts and has always been open about his sexuality. Sex positive, Chiaki indulges others in their sexual interests and endeavors! Interestingly enough, he’s also one of the densest people on Earth, so it will take a lot for his man to even get a single hint!
Confidence point: Shoulders and thighs
Favorite food(s): grilled brisket
Hobby: writing songs and reading erotica novels
Ideal Type: someone more dependable and carefree
Backstory: Chiaki had a loving childhood, his mother was a piano teacher and his father was a lawyer. Coming from a humble past, he wanted to get involved with music like his mother. Thus, he aspired to be a songwriter and musician when he grew older, but that dream was crushed when he lost his family at an early age and was later taken in by Minhyeok and his family. Chiaki had nothing left from them except for a key necklace that his father gave to him. “No matter what, hold onto this, there will be a time when you will need it most,” his father urged, only a few days before he was brutally murdered alongside his wife. Chiaki didn’t get what his father meant–not until he witnessed his best friend getting hurt right before his eyes and having made a contract with the King of Fury to save him. Only then did he truly understand.
Trivia:
Is bisexual, and is a verse-switch(do not let his looks fool you!). Learned that he was bi when he was around 14 years old and his first crush was Minhyeok.
Before he went to hell, he worked at a bookstore and also read to children on occasion. Also worked part time at a music store and would teach music lessons on occasion.
Attended the same college as Minhyeok as a Music theory major, with a minor in Literature
Talented singer and dancer. When he was still attending university, he would be seen dancing in the studio or recording songs in one of booths of the music buildings.
Knows how to play guitar and piano. Knows music theory.
Having lost his family, he learned to cook for himself and with the help of Minhyeok.
His father is Korean and his mother is Japanese.
Speaks both Korean, Satoori, and Japanese. Satoori comes out when he’s angry.
Does in fact have a skin care routine even after descending to hell.
His favorite sanrio characters are Kuromi and Pochacco
Before his ascension to Hell, some of his friends called him Qiqi because he used to play genshin impact(or whatever equivalent), and whenever he pulled for a character, he got Qiqi instead, losing the 50/50. They also call him Chichi due to his "impressive" chest size, which he refuses to acknowledge.
Has written and composed his own songs, some of which are saucy, raunchy in their own way. He keeps them in a journal, but regrets not taking said journal with him before leaving to Hell.
Going in depth with his hobbies aside from songwriting, he collects erotica novels and manga, but doesn’t have a porn collection like the original mc, but that doesn’t mean he owns a few toys himself.
owns a light purple galaxy z flip5, but uses it for selfies and nudes. He uses the phone Satan gave him for contacts.
In terms of combat, he was able to wield various weapons during his time in hell, more specifically weapons made of Sitri's blood. He wields both a glade and a hammer.
Can make barriers out of silver/gold
Can summon large extraterritorial monsters from his coffin(given by Leviathan) and hang people on command if need be.
Design Notes:
Character inspo: Cealus and Dr. Ratio(Hontai Star rail), Epel Felmier(twst), Eiden(Nu:Carnival), Shoto(Vtuber/indie), Uki Violeta(Noctyx, Nijisanji EN), Solomon(Obey me & WHB), Joenghan(Seventeen)
concept outfit: white v-line shirt, dark purple cuffed pants, white converse(platforms), and has a purple cardigan/jacket.
Chiaki is a man of comfortability hence he would be seen wearing cardigans, sweaters, etc.
His main outfit as derived from Eiden(Nu:carnival) but instead of a jacket, I decided that a cardigan would fit him best due to lax personality and nature. Not to mention his previous occupation as a bookseller/keeper and a music tutor and musician.
Since his favorite color is purple, he can be seen wearing lots of cool, warm purples and sometimes blues and pinks.

Natsume Sakasaki -Analysis
(from Reminiscences Selection ELEMENT)
and more?
DISCLAIMER + WARNING!!!
I said it before, but I'll have to say it again that this is my PERSONAL ANALYSIS. If anything feels out of place, pls, feel free to have your own thoughts on this. ( Maybe your p.o.v is different from mine )
My English is bad...sorry, but I'll continue to improve it!
I'm not good with analysis so if anything makes you confused, pls do ask. I would love to help you with any problem(that I'm capable of)
Ok~ Let's go!
For those who think the war didn't affect on Natsume much since he looked un-scratch. Then, the answer is a no and yes.
I'm not going to talk about it like, fine by physic and hurt by mental because ( except Eichi ) none character at the end of the war got any physical problem on them. Mostly came from mental then it affects their physical state like Rei or Shu.
Kanata? No, he just lost his beliefs and changed for the better good ( Chiaki saved him in time )
Rei? Got sent away and later on turned into a daunting old man. In his case, he had a bad relationship with Ritsu and his mental problem affected on him made him act and do things like a granny.
Shu, got defeated and had a mental problem after that ( He's getting better later on )
Wataru is...kinda ok actually. Since he was able to figure out Eichi's plan so it didn't do much on him.
Natsume was being protected by the 2yr members of 5 Eccentic so of course, no damage was taken either.
But the thing is, Natsume wasn't able to join the real fight, most of the time, he had to stay back and watch as all his Nii-san fell apart. One by one.
Like, when all your friends got hurt but you can't do anything but stand aside and witness their fall down.
That is why he was so angry. He feels left out.
And he blames it on himself, that he's not as good as them, and that's why he never got a chance to stand up and fight with them.
Now, let's go back in time *click click the turnback button*
He does look a bit uncomfortable when he meets Tsumugi, but most of that is after he knows that Tsumugi knew he's past.
It's like: "Oh...no no, I hate that time and I hate you for being the witness of that old me. Too bad I can't make that memory disappear out of your head so I'm just kinda uncomfortable with you for remembering that stuff."
He starts to get a little un-friendly but then later on, it gets worse, when he learns that Tsumugi is a member of Fine and watches Eichi as his friend.
He goes soft when being with the 5 Eccentric for sure.
But it is still nothing compared to the mad and hatter-like after the war ended. When he ignores Tsumugi and anyone he doesn't care or give a sh^t about. ( He does care about Tsumugi. Sometimes he just acts a little unsettled with anyone he doesn't care/know about. It's not a completely don't care but...ya know what I mean )
( From Chapter 3/ In the rose garden )
So, what made him become like this? It was the war.
It is a yes when it comes to the war's effect on him. It's not as heavy as Shu or Rei or a total change in look and understanding like Kanata but it did have some effect on him.
Hence, it doesn't mean that he's fine. He's better than most but not fine.
How you do think that THAT big of an event can't be able to do something to him. It does!
And to whoever writes his character, I wish your pillow cold on both sides! Because he is such an interesting character to look into.
It's worth pointing out that the feeling of Natsume being an outsider isn't just an experience for him but also for the reader, the viewer who watches the anime and Element 3D version.
Consider the fact that in each episode, an Eccentric was being defeated or was mentioned about their fall.
There was nothing about Natsume but locking himself in a room and keep on writing the script for a happy ending that he was yearning for.
( this is a part of the Black Bird story/ the moment when the script got burned )
Kanata was defeated, then came Shu.
At the time Natsume was writing the script, it was already the end of it all. The situation can no longer be saved.
The Eccentric Party Night? It was all Natsume's dream.
The time when he gets to be with all his beloved Nii-san is in Episode 2. Then later on in Episode 5 when the last Eccentric are being executed.
It was the beginning and the end.
And I don't think if Natsume's plan got accepted by Wataru mean they'll win either. Yes, it is bad for the school as Wataru and Eichi mentioned in Episode 6, but I'm scared for the others who have already been defeated, can they able to gather strength after all the brutal executes their been through.
Simultaneously, the students still hate them. Their anti-fan exists.
They'll have to survive another war even if Eichi's already been taken down.
So in conclusion, if we put the Eccentric Party Night scene out of the picture, then Natsume does seem to be left out.
That why he was so mad, that why he wanted revenge. Even if none of his Nii-san want to, he wants it. Not just for them but also for himself.
He wants a chance to stand up with his own two feet, defeat the bad guy, and show all his beloved brothers that he has finally grown up.
Last but not least! He feels betrayed when Wataru joins Fine. But I think he did understand Wataru's decision. That why he still call Wataru his Nii-san, that why he just a little crappy but not a totally hated form of treatment for Wataru.
You can say he has a soft spot for Wataru, but he didn't beg nor have any rejection over it, he just went: "Why did my beloved Nii-san have to stay in the same unit as that demon...now it is even harder to take him down...what a headache."
He knows Wataru well, and lets Wataru do as he likes. And I think that was a very grown-up of him. After all that begging for the plan to be accepted by Wataru. After all that panic and suffering for his older senior to win it even if there was already no redo.
The Natsume now is calmer than before. Of course, he still has a lot to learn and more room for development, but yes, he may have some improve.
That all~ That alL~ ThaNk yOU for REAding~ XoxO!
Also made one for Tsumugi in the past if you want to read another analysis: https://www.tumblr.com/sucantslay/745663127662837760/aoba-tsumugi-analysis-from-the-animation

9 and 22 for mob psycho :]
hi Jay <333 :]
9: give the most UNHELPFUL and/or SILLY summary possible.
HMMMMM ok let's go:
polite and unassuming psychic teenager dismayed to learn that repressing his personality into a small obedient blank blob does not solve The Problem of his earth-shatteringly powerful existence, nor is his existence actually A Problem to begin with; he's just traumatized. meanwhile, two mentors, equally terrible, compete over custody the right to take advantage of the heart and dreams of said teenager: his Fake-Exorcist Part-Time Boss, who likes the blank blob version of the kid, and Evil Green Ghost, who likes the lashing-out earth-shattering version. Both mentors are surprised and alarmed to find the kid creating an identity on his own, beyond the binary of Blob and Earth-Shatterer. Oops!
22: FREE SPACE: say anything you want about the story!! <3
I DONT KNOW I JUST LOVE MP100 SO MUCH. um. OH OKAY let me expand for a minute on an idea I had while writing that summary:
Dimple and Mob have a unique relationship in mp100 because they both see each other at their worst immediately and they both look each other fully in the face and go "sure, I'll stick around". Reigen never saw the worst version of Mob directly, not until [redacted], whereas Dimple bullied Shigeo into a rage explosion immediately upon meeting him. And Dimple didn't just see Mob angry and violent; he saw him utterly failing to integrate with society, and he struck Mob right where it hurt him most: his inability to connect with Tsubomi (and, kind of by extension, with Ritsu). So Dimple has seen the worst of BOTH SIDES OF MOB immediately: the seemingly emotionless, socially impaired Mob and meltdown-mode, self-hating, lashing-out Mob who doesn't argue with being called a monster. は最低だ. I'm the worst.
And Dimple comes back.
Meanwhile, Shigeo has seen Dimple at his worst, too. He saw Dimple as a hideous monster trying to literally cut him apart limb from limb. He saw Dimple as a pointless cult leader who used group hypnosis to make people emotionally reliant on him. AND. AND. Dimple got so irrationally threatened by Mob's inability to "get a clue" that Dimple lashed out with all the power of his cynical observation skills and his sharp tongue. Dimple called him a corpse and recommend he go hikikomori himself away in his room forever. Dimple is someone who analyzes people's psyches and then twists the knives in them to try to make himself feel powerful, and Shigeo knows that.
And he still lets Dimple hang around.
!!!!!
#this got long alsdjflkd but I HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS AND THOUGHTS ABOUT THEM#Mob letting Dimple hang around was—eh—not the wisest choice but at least not. like. idiotic the way Dimple's choice to revisit Mob was#the level of confidence Dimple had in his ability to survive a second confrontation with Mob was QUITE SOMETHING#it speaks to his desperation to be seen AND his skill in drawing conclusions about people AND a strange and alarming recklessness#in someone otherwise very concerned with self-preservation#mob meta#Robin speaks

Please disclose why everyone is saying they’ve got a bad feeling and it makes me anxious sob
tbh mine isn't really a bad feeling at this point. i'm not that far in probably, but the way some stuff has been handled ... i really feel uncomfortable.
i'll preface what i'm going to say with this warning : if you do not like seeing people talk badly of a character you like, please do not continue reading. i have said on here before that personally, i do not care about firefly the way hoyo wishes we all would, and what i'm going to say revolves around her.
with that out of the way, i'm putting it as plain as i can - i'm so fucking over having characters shoved down our throats as potential romantic interests in a way, you know what i mean? from the second we met her, firefly was basically marketed to us as " oh the trailblazer is falling in love with her !! look how cute they are together !! "
sorry sis but as someone who also doesn't really like march that much ( i find her to either grate on my nerves or just straight up piss me off with how condescending she can be ) firefly really ain't a step up in any sense.
if you like those girls, cool beans, you enjoy them and love them with your entire hearts and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. but me? no. march annoys the shit outta me and firefly, at best, would be a friend . i hate the whole vibe of trying to force us to view her as someone close to us and super special when she literally lied to us off the bat about pretty much everything.
but ritsu, why do you feel this way when you seem to like characters like jade? i can answer that real simply - because jade is unapologetic about being a fucking bitch. i can get behind that. what i can't get behind is how firefly has been handled in a narrative perspective.
she has been shoved down our throats since we first saw her. we knew nothing about her truly and were supposed to feel sad when she died the first time? the second time?? um no fam i felt fucking nothing. absolutely nothing. and with what's happened in the early part of the current quest i still feel absolutely nothing, even after everything we've learned about her and her people.
i feel more for the people of glamoth as a whole than i do for the character that so many people have a fucking hard on for shipping with the trailblazer, including hoyo. i've been trying to ignore it, but my god it's getting real hard when you're basically being shown fantastical, romantic scenarios that just scream ship fodder.
again, my main issue is the narrative perspective of it all and how forced so much of it feels. in contrast, honestly, i love the hints of interest characters show toward the player character in something like wuthering waves with how jiyan and yinlin treated the rover at the end of their story quests. there was no denying there was the intrigue there, but the romantic subtext was very up in the air.
sort of the same between xiao and the traveller in genshin. xiao's attachment can be seen growing toward the traveller, but at least in my opinion things were done more subtly and we're given a reason as to why he's been so slow and cautious opening up before things start going anywhere .
anyway i'm gonna stop ranting because really i could keep going, but long story short stop shoving this shit down my throat. at least give me the option to be more distant with a character and i'll be content because i don't feel like i have a knife to my throat.

Jack o' Frost Ep 5 & 6 Thoughts
I think you guys were playing a prank on me telling me to watch this show. Was that what happened? Is this payback for all of my cruel polls? Did I deserve this? It’s fine. It’s fine. I am going to try my best to enjoy the final two episodes. Because I need to. THERE IS GOOD IF I JUST LOOK FOR IT and ignore the very bad things. It’s fine. Time to watch:
I don’t blame Ritsu for being hurt by Mr. Lyingface but also why is his response complete and utter avoidance? My guy. Go confront him. Make him own up to his actions. Then you two can talk it out. Or not. It’s not your fault he withheld this from you. But your response to learning about it is not great either.
I don’t care about what’s happening right now but I am VIBING with this music. Guitar and strings? Excellent.
Oh no music went away booooo.
If even the ex boyfriend is like “y’all…need to talk” then perhaps forcing the relationship isn’t a good idea and you should both give yourselves a break. A chance to move on with your lives and be happy.
Wow. Okay. This is a conversation that should have been had before you got to this point of anger my guy. My dude. If Ritsu has been constantly flaking on you and forgetting your dates, this needed to be brought up not in a fit of anger on his birthday. Is Ritsu wrong for it? Absolutely. Should he be making adjustments to make sure he doesn’t flake on you? Yes. Was this the proper response to it happening? No. In this situation they both suck. But I think yelling at Ritsu, on his birthday, while he’s drunk, was not it. Has he even brought it up before? Based on his earlier conversation with Tomoko, I’m gonna say no. That he waited until it reached his boiling point and he exploded. Which is not a productive way to solve issues.
And now Ritsu is acting like a petulant child. Am I supposed to want these two together? Nope. Not unless they get counseling.
Dude. Listen. As someone who is also bad at talking about how I feel…you cannot be this way in a relationship. You just can’t. You have to be willing to compromise and talk about it even a little bit. Otherwise you will not have a relationship. It will either blow up like your relationship with Ritsu did. Or it will fizzle out. If you want something that lasts you have to be willing to open up when you’re hurting. It hurts the other person more if you don’t.
Gotta pause. My coworker is sending memes in the group chat.
Ritsu is right. He can’t fix his behavior if he isn’t told he’s hurting Mr. Lyingface. He can’t reflect on it if he doesn’t know. This goes for before and after the amnesia as well. Do I think he should have to be told to stop flaking on his boyfriend? No. He should try to make sure he’s making time for him BUT sometimes when people get busy, they don’t realize what they’re doing or who they’re ignoring. I have been in both positions of being ignored and doing the ignoring and I gotta say. It’s very easy to not realize you’re ignoring someone. It hurts so, so incredibly bad to be ignored by someone who you love so dearly, but sometimes they just…don’t realize. I say this as someone who shuts down when hurt. I also say this as someone who had someone blow up at me the way Mr. Lyingface blew up at Ritsu. Guess who I don’t talk to anymore. And this is someone I loved a lot. I miss her so much. She remains a part of me. I can’t erase her from me any more than I can erase one of my limbs attached to my body. But in the end, we could not communicate. The same way these two can’t communicate. These two should not be together. They just should not be. It is not fair to either of them if neither can compromise. Sometimes it is best to acknowledge the love. To know it happened. And then to let it go. Keep the memories in your heart and in your soul. But give yourself the grace to find happiness without them.
Anyway time for episode 6 and then I can move on to my next binge of the day.
He’s running again. Ugh the cardio. Maybe I should go on a jog. It’s been awhile.
Fluffy pancakes…mmmmmmmm. Gimme.
SAILBOAT
I forgive everything. This show gave me a sailboat.
I’m indifferent to these two but this MUSIC. Has me in a chokehold.
They’re gonna fuck on that couch again.
Last time they did that, they broke up immediately after.
Well. That’s a show I watched. I hope you guys liked my liveblog. I had fun. Well I had fun liveblogging. This was not my favorite show but it also wasn’t the worst? I hope those two get couples therapy or they will not last. They never really resolved their issues. But I do enjoy writing out my thoughts as I watch things. I will liveblog something else later. Maybe another show from my poll? We’ll see.

The anime made the telepathy arc more about the aliens haha funny anime girls than it did about what the arc represents and I'm still sad about it! I didn't post about it until now because I'm sad! Especially because the animation was quite beautiful!
The point of this small arc is to show that Shigeo has made peace with himself. Both as a person, by genuinely exhausting himself to help the friends he loves - putting all that effort in and continuously choosing to keep going, even when Tome is saying she doesn't want to and everyone is tired. And as an esper, freely using his powers to do something that could be regarded as useless, silly, or maybe even a touch playful; which he hasn't done since he was a child. He has only ever used it when told to, ever since the accident with Ritsu. And remember, during the last season, he was having an extremely hard time being stuck between his esper half, and his human half. It's incredible progress!! Seeing him able to combine both sides of himself in front of others, knowing he's accepted by these people?! That's crazy! I'm so proud of him!! He's grown!!
And this arc is also about him connecting with the other important part of himself (and of all of us), too: the truth of your heart.
Tome disbanding the club, leaving so quietly and dejectedly because she realises that all this time they hadn't taken her seriously. The club members being genuinely upset about it because they love her and didn't realise that she was that serious.
Takenaka being amazed by the truth in Shigeo's heart (a straightforward person who doesn't like to lie or put up false pretenses, which is rarer than you'd think, genuinely wanting to help his friend by doing something crazy like communicating with aliens) and choosing to join them because he had actually wanted to meet others like him, and because he felt like his power could be used for the sake of good for once (as he had used it when he was a child). Because he was moved by Shigeo's honest heart.
Reigen complaining that he has to babysit a bunch of kids, when in reality he knows he's spending time with people he loves and is just a little happy about it. Serizawa being genuinely upset that he can't join Reigen for drinks, worrying about him, until he knows Reigen will be with someone he cares about at the turn of the year (btw this is quite funny to me, because any typical person would go hey I'm sure my classmates wouldn't mind if I invited a friend along to drinks! We're all adults after all! Do you want to join? I can ask :D but he's autism honour bound and doesn't realise he can probably bring anyone, and Reigen's self confidence is too low to invite himself smh)
Tome crying because she was so frustrated that they only started to care when things were about to end, but knowing the truth in her own heart being that she, too, wanted to stay - so she showed up to go with them even though it hurt. Only to learn that even though they hadn't thought she was serious, they put this plan together because they do care. Because the truth is they value their friendship with her as much as she values them, and they want to make an effort to prove that.
Takenaka then putting in even more effort than he had expected to, because he realises he had let his hurt feelings (loneliness) get in the way of the type of friendships Shigeo had formed. The type of friendships he had yearned for all along. He'd even stayed awake that whole night prior, studying and memorising and taking notes, because he wanted things to go well, because these people could be onto something deeper than he'd thought friendships could be. Because the truth is he wanted to take part in something like that, too.
And Shigeo, in this arc, despite pushing himself to exhaustion, is doing it for the sake of love. For his friends. We've seen him exhaust himself before; after big fights and overwhelming moments, he becomes tired and exhausted to the point of collapsing or passing out. But here it's different - he's doing it for the sake of those he cares about. He wants to see Tome happy because she's a very dear friend to him, he wants to enjoy a day out with his group of friends that he just happened to become close to over the year, and he wants to show them how much they mean to him right now; and he wants to see Takenaka open up to others and learn that sometimes friendships are formed out of things that you don't have in common. Out of the things you learn from each other. (The mortifying ordeal of being known, if you will.)
Because what matters is the truth in your heart, that you care about your friends, that you want to be there for them, to push yourself for them, and that you know they'd do the same for you. That maybe they already have. That's the point of the arc. (That's what the point of the arc is.)
The aliens section in the manga touched on it too, in a "we were able to communicate because of a common understanding of each other, despite being unable to verbally communicate, and I was able to return home" and not.. whatever that was in the anime.
#this arc is extremely important#and there were parts of the episodes that were so beautiful and emotional#but the aliens part man#inukawa was like drugged and used and man the dude's a KID#but yk Moving Swiftly On#this arc is a very beautiful demonstration of everyone seeing their true selves and letting that truth be known#the truth in their hearts#ritsu's heart truth was that he wished to be more like the twins with shigeo instead of elder and younger brother#but you'll only know this if you read my tags so if you're here HI#i hope you don't mind that I write nicely but am also an idiot who adds asides and !!! everywhere#mp100#mob psycho 100#mp100 analysis#mp100 spoilers#takenaka#tome#mp100 tome#shigeo#mob#mp100 mob#lulu on the mic#reigen#telepathy arc#idk what to tag do I tag everyone I mentioned ew#I'm giving up here

The first OVA for MP100 has really interesting connotations in terms of what Reigen actually knows about Mob’s experiences. Reigen’s the one who’s narrating the recap, so we can assume the perspective and the things he mentions are solely based on his own understanding of the situation.
Obviously the nature of a recap episode is that not every detail can be included, and I recognize that I might be applying meaning to what may just be limitations of the form, but it’s fun to speculate about the meeting of meaning and execution, so why not, right?
When Reigen is describing the events of season 1, he completely skips over Teruki strangling Mob. If it’s meant to be a recap for the audience, the strangling was maybe the most important thing to happen in the whole fight other than the ???% explosion. It’s where Teruki’s worldview starts to break down, it’s a moment where Teruki’s desperation causes him to betray his own moral boundaries (“What am I doing???”), and it’s where we first learn about Mob hurting Ritsu—the inciting incident for quite literally every single thing that happens in the entire plot of Mob Psycho 100. But not only does Reigen not mention those at all, they also don’t show any footage of it happening. It skips directly from the knives to Mob’s ???% explosion.
In the scene that happens in S1E6, where Mob asks Reigen about what qualifies as self defense, Mob mentions balding Teruki, shredding his clothes, destroying his school, and throwing him up in the air, but he doesn’t mention Teruki strangling him to Reigen. Ever.
Mob also never tells Reigen about the incident where he hurt his brother with his ???% explosion as kids. He mentions to Reigen that his powers are dangerous and that he’s scared of hurting people, but his guilt compels him to never mention the specifics of the event to anyone but Ritsu. And directly because of Reigen never knowing the severity of Mob’s concerns, he underestimates Mob’s internal struggles and even trivializes them sometimes, which is why he has the whole “I didn’t know!!!!” moment in the finale. If he knew that guilt was eating Mob alive like that, he would’ve handled it better than he did, obviously.
Instead, Mob writes in that part himself, sitting alone in his bedroom, rather than transcribing what Reigen is narrating. And even when he does write about it, he chooses to say very little in detail. The audience sees the whole scene play out to fulfill the purpose of the recap, but Mob’s internal dialogue—which is reading out in his head what he’s currently writing—says (in the dub bc it’s the one I currently have downloaded for amvs lol), “When my brother, Ritsu, was little, he would get really happy whenever I showed him my powers. But, because I hadn’t learned how to control them, I ended up hurting the brother I loved so much. Because of me, Ritsu…” And from here it transitions immediately to the alley scene. He really doesn’t even say much. When a kid says they hurt their brother, the first things that come to your mind usually aren’t all that serious. It’s pretty common for siblings to hit and bite (sorry to my older sister—I was a biter 😬) and stuff sometimes, especially when young. No one would assume he was talking about pretty serious head trauma from just that.
He does, apparently, know about Mob and Teru torturing Terada via waterboarding. I’m assuming Teru told him that part. It certainly wasn’t Terada. He seems to think the torture is hilarious, though. “*in a laughing, smug voice* This poor soul was tortured and embarrassed. He was in way over his head—literally.” It kinda was, tbf.
Obviously the integrity of the story starts going straight off the rails at this point, with Reigen poorly photoshopping himself into every scene to fulfill his chuunibyou complex. I’m just going to blanket assume that everything Reigen knows about Mob’s actions in the claw division before he arrived there himself comes from a mixture of Mob’s bare-bones reporting and Teruki bragging about the details of power level and technique and stuff.
When it comes to Mob’s 100% rejection and defeating Muto, Reigen openly admits to only knowing of his existence through hearsay and that Mob doesn’t remember how he defeated him. However, for the sake of recap, the audience is shown the full scene of Mob hitting the ceiling on his counter and freaking out, so that’s another interesting dichotomy between Reigen’s understanding of the story vs. what we are shown as the audience in the recap.
And then everything after this point was witnessed by Reigen firsthand, so it’s not so much about his understanding of the situation than it is about the way he’s framing it (which is poorly).
Anyway, it’s super clear that even back in season 1, Reigen had no idea what was actually going on with Mob. And if he did, he didn’t know the ways it was affecting him, or the most heartbreaking details had been fully excluded.

okay so hear me out: one of ritsu’s tics is scratching. just like... imagining him scratching himself subconsciously all the time and he can’t stop even when he realizes it because it’s a compulsion. he tends to scratch his hands and knuckles and wrists a lot and it just gets worse the more stressed or anxious or overwhelmed he gets. and sometimes he doesn’t even realize it’s happening until someone points it out or mentions that he’s bleeding.
and thinking about that being a tic he’s not great at suppressing so he does his best to hide it from his family (he doesn’t care about that one at school as much because he could easily lie his way out of that one) so they don’t realize it’s a problem until one day when ritsu walks into spirits and such with blood caking and dripping from his hands (maybe during final exams or he’s in the midst of an anxiety/tic attack or maybe he’s just really overwhelmed with everything on his plate) and. y eah.
#it's about ritsu being willing to show people he's hurt and to let them take care of him because he's so used to making himself the perfect#little brother/son so no one would have to worry about him / so he wouldn't stress shige out and just. yEAH#i have. feelings.#i just think it'd be a big problem#i think one way the s&s gang would help with that is by holding his hands#like maybe shige would take his hands and just. hold them while reigen or serizawa or someone bandages them and he doesn't let go for awhile#and then teru and shou start grabbing his hands and holding them if he's scratching too (and either of these can be romantic or platonic)#and i feel like he wouldn't be totally comfortable with tome doing that yet but he would be eventually and he doesn't want the adults to do#it because it makes him feel like a child so they don't but. ough. and maybe one day he's freaked because he's worried that he'll scratch#whoever is holding his hand instead and like someone (maybe reigen) suggests trying to redirect that into tapping instead so he taps#everyone's hands and he feels so uncomfortable and awkward at first especially when the tapping gets - in his words - excessive and his#premonitory urge is like 'yes RUB rub their hands!!!' and he's so upset but no one minds and maybe tome and the adults will give ritsu their#hands and just let him tap and rub and poke their hands and stuff because ritsu is SUPER picky about touch and allows very few people to#touch him partially because of the ts and partially because he is Insecure and Textures and Comfortability and just. this is so important#for him??? and such a BIG step and shige is so proud and the scratching doesn't really stop but it gets manageable and not as bloody#it's about ritsu learning who he is and learning to love all the parts of himself even the ones he finds repulsive ough aNYWAYS#mp100#ritsu kageyama#ritsu with tourette's#i am so right for this wow

MOB PSYCHO 100 WARRIOR CATS AU WHOOOOOO
I've been chugging along at these designs for ages and I am so proud of them and stoked to finally share them AA if you have any questions FEEL FREE to ask me I have been plotting and drawing this au so much (have many things still in the works to post!!)
AU Summary: A Long time ago a strange interloper claiming to be a Starclan warrior took over the clan (Dimple/Mosswish). He gave them a prophecy from the ancient times of a cat that would one day be destined to take his place as the True leader of the clan.
Years later, a stray (Reigen/Weaselflight) found two kittens (Mob & Ritsu/Sproutmask & Thistlestrike) abandoned in the trash and took them in. If anyone asked he would claim it was just so that he wouldn't have anyone's death on his conscience but nobody ever asked. He staked out a human neighborhood and left them on the doorstep and once he saw them get taken in went off on his way.
Almost a year after that Sprout and Thistle have no memories of the cat who saved them and they have both grown. Sprout is constantly wondering what lies beyond his yard.
He befriends a stay who just came back to town named Weasel that seems oddly familiar, who's been mentoring Sprout on the ways of the Clan. He uses Weasel's "true" stories as a springboard for all the things he wants to do someday and tells his brother all about (Thistle hides his concern about that) But there are clan cats who have been watching them convinced Sprout is the one chosen by Starclan to help them.
Eventually they come to him, offering him anything he wants if he will join them, permanently.
I have a lot more I'm keeping secret for now you'll have to find out >:3c
design and name notes under the cut!
First off: I started on these BEFORE the fursona plush actually ever got announced but about mid-way through plotting all this They Happened and I knew I could not use any aspect of them for these designs so if u want to know why they don't look like those. that's why. I ardently refused to use those designs. I love them!!! I have fanart in the works of them, but they're not part of this.
Mob - he was the first character I drew and the base off of which I drew everyone else because he's the default. He's the glass of water, the firestar, the plain chip, the True Neutral of design.
He was also the last one i colored and actually finished a design for LMAO. When it came to his name I knew I wanted -mask as his suffix because of the fact he is the most autistic character I have ever seen in my life (I am a professional autist, I know my own) and he is absolutely masking 95% of the time before the confession arc. I was stuck on what his suffix could be though, but my friend @cellulr suggested broccoli as a name and I remembered that OH YEAH he can make plants grow, which is how I got to Sprout, also it just sounds cute. He's a growing little sprout, it works.
Reigen - My design is very specifically based on the Least Weasel. I do not subscribe to fox headcanons under any circumstances. I don't care what reason people have for them he's not a fox. He's literally the quote "weaseling out of things is important to learn! It's what separates us from the animals...except the weasel." incarnate.
His name was the easiest one for me. He's a weasel, he loves to get out of Situations, Weaselflight. It's a winner.
Serizawa - He's a calico :3c I made him a calico because it matched the color palette of his pajamas and I just love his pajamas look because the blue suit is............kind of boring sorry <3.
I was really stuck on what to name him but i found out on the wiki that the zawa kanji of his name means Marsh and I really fell in love with that. -whisper was based on him being kinda shy when he first joins the clans but just like in actual canon he gets braver but is still a big gentle giant type guy
Dimple - I don't believe in realistic cat genetics for warrior cats content, these are a bunch of strays in the woods who have organized religion and superpowers. The cats can be green if I make them green. So Dimple's design was translated pretty literally but I made him very short and rounder than everyone else. And I gave him the same nicked ear that the claw security guard people draw him with/as all the time has. Also he's short and people keep thinking he's an apprentice I think that was a funny part of Scourge nobody used.
If you want to get realistic or something you could say maybe Dimple being green was proof enough to the clans he's otherworldly and therefore totally a real starclan warrior. His suffix Moss is pretty obvious but -wish has an in and out of universe explanation. In-universe it's about his own wishes of being important (godly perhaps?). Out of universe it's a reference to my favorite old timey warrior cats fansite warriors wish.
Teru - okay I will admit this is the only design that's loosely based on some fursona art. I saw art of him as a Pomeranian with the rest of the gang and I was obsessed I could not let him be a cat. He is a full respected warrior of the clan though do Not make any comments about him being a dog unless you wanna get killed. I love warriors aus or fanclans where non-cats are part of the clan too I think adding other animals adds a lot of fun elements to the world. In another clan of mine there's a pig. Reject canon. Add more animals to the clans.
As for his name I thought about naming giving him the Star prefix just to be annoying but theres certain lines I won't cross and that's one. So he's Suntuft. the -tuft is because he's a big fluffy dog lots of fur.
Toichirou - So like...in terms of structure Claw is basically just Bloodclan and guy who shows up out of nowhere with a huge army at the last second w/ plans to take over the world (forest)? that's so Scourge coded. Why does he have a clan name though? Secret For Later >:3c
In terms of design he's literally just a taller pointier Mob now in Red. Why he has the -claw suffix should be pretty obvious and I know in the anime his hair isnt quite red but i remembered it being pretty red when I was designing and Shou has red hair (im getting to him dw) so...red. I also thought it would be diabolical to give him the same name as the canon hero of the actual warriors books.

Once again I must thank you for your mob posting, I love seeing your thoughts and analyses, it also lead to me going and rewatching the series again and now it has taken over my brain. I don’t have anyone else to talk about it with so I apologize if this odd. Random thought that occurred to me that maybe you have some ideas on; how much do you think Mob’s parents know about Reigen? I have this image in my head of them never meeting until Mob’s graduation or something and how funny that could be
Please don't apologize! I may not always be able to respond to messages bc of The Curse, but i LOVE getting them, and also all I want to do rn is rotate Mob Psycho thoughts in my head for eternity.
I absolutely believe that Mob's parents have No Idea about Reigen. They are completely separate spheres. I think that Reigen thinks that the Kageyamas know about him and operates under that assumption, but Mob never actually told them.
The thing about the Kageyama parents is that they are fine; they love their kids; they take good care of them; and they do not understand psychic powers At All. And, importantly, Mob doesn't want them to! I'm certain that neither Mob or Ritsu told them that Mob's powers were responsible for the incident where Ritsu got hurt; they think it was just a regular fight. And because Mob has kept such a tight lid on his powers ever since then, his parents don't know how dangerous they can be. They think it's all bending spoons and making things float. And Mob doesn't want this to change, because if they knew what he could do he's certain that they'd be afraid of him, just like Ritsu.
He's too scared to admit how hard it is to control his psychic powers, so when he goes out and finds someone to help him control them he's too scared (and ashamed that he needs the help, probably) to admit it. He might not even consciously be keeping Reigen a secret, he just . . . never mentioned it. But now it's been long enough and Reigen is such an important part of his life that he kind of forgets he never told his parents about him and just assumes that they know. You need a little bit of "This Is A Cartoon" logic to make this work but that's in keeping with canon.
Anyway. EITHER the Kageyamas first meet Reigen immediately post-confession arc when a man who looks like he walked through a tornado (they are not reassured to learn that he did, in fact, walk through a tornado) brings Shigeo home and tells them loopily that their son destroyed half the city but it's fine now, it's all good, he's an amazing boy and he's going to do great things OR they first meet him at Shigeo's graduation where they're increasingly bemused at how difficult it is to get a moment with their own son since he's being monopolized by a complete stranger in a greasy suit who keeps crying about how proud he is. At least one teacher clearly assumes that he is Shigeo's father. They have never seen this man before in their lives.

The Detective's Banquet 4
Writer: Mitsuki
Character(s): Shino Hajime, Mashiro Tomoya, Hidaka Hokuto, Sakuma Ritsu, Isara Mao, Harukawa Sora, Tomoe Hiyori, HiMERU
Translated by: jewwyfeesh
Tomoya: ……I’m sorry, but I need to do this.
Location: Inside the Helicopter
Hiyori: So, how did this even happen!? Finding a ticking time bomb under the seats… What foul weather!
Mao: Ahaha… I’d originally thought that being in a heli in-game isn’t something to be scared of;I really wasn’t expecting to experience something even more terrifying in the end… Parachute jumping[1]…
Ritsu: Sigh… I’m here only because Maa~kun said he wanted to ride the helicopter, so Maa~kun, you need to take responsibility~
Hiyori: Everyone ready? Later, when you’re in the air, don’t panic and remember to protect yourselves!
Three, two, one, jump—!
Location: Seishou Hall Common Room
Hajime: Even though everyone successfully parachuted to safety, the helicopter exploding and disintegrating right above our heads was a little scary…
Hiyori: Not to mention, why were we banned from returning to the island to continue investigations after parachuting? I definitely remember even calling for the rescue team to bring us back!
Sora: HuHu~ Sora helped produce SSVRS part of this project, so Sora will answer!
This project is a little bit like a trial level, that’s why the Blizzard Mountain Villa map was made relatively simple. If you leave the boundary of the island, a high-difficulty level will be triggered.
Because the island is rather isolated, the investigation would’ve been long over by the time the rescue team brought everyone back~
Hajime: So… Is there really no way to leave once you step foot on this island?
Sora: You can leave once you’ve cleared the high-difficulty level! In order to keep the game balanced, Sora made sure to design skill sets well! In this batch of detectives, there should be someone who’s able to defuse bombs, no?
Mao: Ahaha, I think the ‘Bionic Detective’ should know how; what a pity Hokuto wasn’t in the helicopter with us then.
Sora: Getting someone with bomb defusal abilities to call and give instructions is also an option; if you’d like something more realistic, you could also try your hand at defusing the bomb yourself with the toolbox in the plane. Interesting, right ♪
Hiyori: Fiiiiiine. After all, a trial stage made with so much love… I guess there’s really nothing that can be done about it. But I’m not exactly happy about it!
I spent so much time learning how to pilot the helicopter in-game, only for it to end so abruptly! My screen time was too short, too!
Hokuto: In any case, Tomoe-senpai did leave a lasting impression on everyone. I can benefit greatly from your usage of over-the-top actions to portray a character’s defined set of skills.
In the end, you did snag a rather important role in the official project – as expected of Tomoe-senpai.
Hiyori: Oh? Hokuto-kun, when did you become so adept in praising others? But what you say is completely right – truly, as expected of me ♪
Oh right, I just thought of this… Isn’t there an Easter Egg lying around — an additional puzzle meant for the Detectives to solve? In the end, I didn’t get the chance to have a go at all… When the game’s released, I’ll definitely try again~
Sora: Sora remembers that that particular riddle was solved by the ‘High School Student Detective’ in the end—
Location: Luxurious Hotel Room
[Returning to the time when someone knocked on Tomoya’s door]
Tomoya: W-who…? Who’s there!
???: It seems like you didn’t close your door fully, ‘High School Student Detective’.
HiMERU: No, let HiMERU address you by your name, Mashiro Tomoya. You, who have committed a crime… you’ve already forsaken your identity as a detective, haven’t you?
Tomoya: Erm… May I ask you what you’re doing…? Why did you suddenly barge into my room, calling me a murderer…?
HiMERU: As matters stand, there’s no use acting stupid anymore. This is your disguise, no? Cleverly hiding amongst the masses whilst donning the identity of the most ‘ordinary’ person.
Tomoya: Ah, could it be that you’re knocking on everyone’s door and telling this to them, in the hopes that you’d be able to bluff the real murderer into revealing themselves?
If that’s what you’re trying to do, you should’ve already gotten your answer. The person you’re looking for isn’t me, so please just leave me to my own devices?
HiMERU: There’s no use beating around the bush nor playing word games with me. You’re very smart, and the tranquiliser gun in your hands is the best evidence of that fact – the item you received for unravelling that riddle.
If you don’t intend on admitting, then I suppose I’m left with no choice. Let’s call everyone over, and HiMERU will confront you—
Ack… You?!
Tomoya: W-w-wait, wait a minute, h-how did that happen!? I had no intention of firing the gun! Was it because I was so nervous that my muscles unconsciously tightened, and the trigger was pulled?
Thank goodness it’s just a tranquilizer… I’ll just explain it to him when he wakes up, it should be fine…
It was really scary… That senior detective approached me in such an imposing manner… I thought I was gonna die…
Is there something wrong with this place…? Feels like everyone, me included, has become more volatile… And it really feels like we’re constantly on the brink of confrontation.
If the truth is unable to be uncovered, and we’re unable to leave this island, then… more cases would occur.
(Aah, not to mention, Hokuto-senpai’s here. He needs to act as an Android, and is unable to protect himself in front of others. So it’s only right that I protect him!)
Location: Prop Room
[In the Resort’s storage room]
Hokuto: For the ‘High School Student Detective’ to specially request to meet me here, is something the matter?
Tomoya: ……I’m sorry, but I need to do this.
‘Bionic Detective’, you’ve taught me many things. So now, it’s my turn to protect you.
Hokuto: I apologise, I don’t understand. Could you please clarify what you meant?
Tomoya: Then, let me address you by ‘Hokuto-senpai’ one last time. Goodbye, Hokuto-senpai… Please don’t hate me… Though, you probably won’t even know what that means.
Hokuto: Mm~ So you’re taking your leave first? See you tomorrow, then.
…………
Hold on a moment, why did you lock the door and walk away?! I need to leave too!
Tomoya: This place is rather out-of-the-way, so no matter how loud you shout, no one will come and save you. Rather, think of it this way – it’s very safe, you can rest assured.
Hokuto: (Kidnapping someone, and proceeding to say it’s for the other party’s protection… Why do I feel a particular sense of déjà vu…? Where have I heard this before…?)
(Nevermind. Hibiki-senpai must’ve taught Tomoya some weird things again.)
(All in all, I can’t stay locked up in here. Tomoya must’ve encountered something for him to act this way. If he encountered some real trouble, as his senior, I can’t just sit on the sidelines uncaringly…!)
(Calm down. Now, I need to figure out a way to break out of this room… but I also need to do it in a way that doesn’t go against what Androids can do. Hm…)
First of all, the main entrance should’ve already been locked from the outside. I am not a combat-type Android, so I lack the weapons capable of breaking the door down.
However, there are many materials in this storage room that can be used to make a living, as well as various tools lying around. Referencing the things around me, I should be able to create some usable props.
The window is rather high up, and can be accessed by climbing up some boxes and the like. Not to mention, this Android body is strong enough to sustain falls from a height, but it is unclear which part of the resort is the window facing. A scout of the environment is necessary.
(Tomoya most likely didn’t do a thorough search of the surrounding areas either — the difficulty of this escape isn’t particularly high. Of course, there’s always the staff to help me exit the game if absolutely necessary.)
(Still… I’m unable to calm down and think it through. Even though the plans I’ve come up with are rather simple, it’s still best to try them out…)

Seven Bridges - Love and Peace?: Chapter 10
Location: Yumenosaki Soundproof Lesson Room Characters: Ritsu, Mao & Hitsugi
TL Note:
In the original script, Arashi makes a pun (ナイツではない / naitsu de wa nai).
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ< Another memory. Late May. Yumenosaki Academy, soundproof lesson room. >
Arashi: …The Seven Mysteries?
Hitsugi: Yes! I’m researching them! You could even say I enrolled into Yumenosaki because I wanted to learn about them!
Arashi: That’s a bit much… I have vaguely heard of them but was it something that important?
I remember Ritsu-chan’s older brother and his friends looking into it last year, but do you know anything about that, Ritsu-chan?
Ritsu: I think the ones who were digging into it were the twins from the Light Music Club – not me or my brother.
Me and Secchan did get involved once because we heard the sounds of a piano deep into the night…
But before that, who’s this?
Hitsugi: Oh! Hello and nice to meet you! I’m Hitsugi Kurone from the “producer course”!
I’ve been sent out to observe “Knights’” practice session today!
Ritsu: Ugh, the “producer course”, huh. Nacchan was talking to you in such a friendly manner so I thought you were one of our new members.
Hitsugi: I’m not “Knights”!
Arashi: Not[∗] “Knights”. Alliteration ♪
I’m actually not that close to, uhh, Hitsugi-chan?
I didn’t even know he was a part of the “producer course”. He was buried in the ground because of such and such and I helped him out.
Hitsugi: Yes! Thank you so much! You saved my life!
Ritsu: What? You were buried in the ground? The weird upperclassmen have mostly graduated and I thought there’d be a lot less weird behaviour now.
Thanks to that, people find it strange that I’m sleeping outside and it’s a huge pain in the neck when they call for a teacher.
If it was last year, they’d just think, “Oh yeah, that sorta guy exists”, ignore me and move on.
Arashi: Ehehe, it’s not so weird compared to someone sleeping in a coffin, playing in the fountain or flying in a hot air balloon, huh ♪
Ritsu: Indeed. It’s hard to live in this world if you’re not normal.
Hitsugi: I totally get that!
I haven’t been doing much in the “producer course” because I’m looking into the Seven Mysteries, so they think I’m a weirdo and get angry at me!
Arashi: Of course they would. You should actually do some work.
Hitsugi: You’re right! But they get angry at me even if I do my work! Especially the people from the “Peace Party” – They just tell me to go away…
Arashi: The “Peace Party”?
Hitsugi: There is a group of people with that name in the “producer course”! It’s a big force in the “producer course” that’s full of second-year students!
Their theme is all about “Love & Peace”! Shortened to the “Peace Party”! It’s mostly a derogatory term, though!
Ritsu: Sure sounds fishy… “Love & Peace”?
Hitsugi: Yup! Love and peace! I think the theme in itself is praiseworthy but–
???: “The ‘Peace Party’s’ love and peace are simply defined by their own idea of those concepts.”
Ritsu: ……Hm?
Hitsugi: Huh? What was I talking about again?
Oh right! I wasn’t doing my work so people were getting angry at me, huh!
Because of that, the “Peace Party” people would often say horrible things to me and…
Anzu-senpai couldn’t stand to watch that happen so she’s been standing up for me recently.
Arashi: Sounds like something Anzu-chan would do.
Hitsugi: Yes! She’s such a nice person – I love her to bits!
If anything, Anzu-senpai looks like she’s going through a much harder time than I am…
Ritsu: What do you mean?
Hitsugi: Uhh, I don’t know if you’re aware, but one of our lessons in the “producer course” consists of us producing one of the students in the “idol course”.
If we don’t do this “producer training” that’s held at a certain time every month, we can’t get credits.
Arashi: That sounds like what we have to do in the “idol course”. We have to participate or watch dreamfests on a regular basis or else we won’t get credits.
Ritsu: That’s been pretty lax ever since ES was created, though. Activities at Yumenosaki aren’t as high on the priority list anymore.
Arashi: Yeah. You can also earn credits by doing idol activities at ES, so you don’t even need to go to classes to get them.
Hitsugi: Ohh! I didn’t know that!
Ritsu: Yeah. You won’t be able to get a practical reward like “L$” within the school, but there might actually be people who are earning money by focusing on their idol activities at ES.
It’s either work the same amount and get credits or “L$” – In terms of whether you can actually get money as well, then, well, unless there’s a reason to take part in the school’s activities, then most people would choose the latter.
Naturally, that doesn’t mean the school’s dreamfests aren’t superior, either.
You can even hold dreamfests that are based on your interests – ones that aren’t fit for work or ones that you can’t get a profit from.
Arashi: Like “Konnyaku Fest”. What even is that? Looks like it’s been held fairly regularly for a while now.
Ritsu: Who knows…? It kinda sounds like something from the Seven Mysteries.
Hitsugi: How intriguing!
