I don't think No Mercy Chara destroys the world.

When I do my analysis, I run on the "Lowest Energy Option" analysis.

Its too easy to made grandiose ideas that, while nice for dramatics, are often world-build breaking or reality breaking. Dramatics like that, tend to disrupt the narrative. Good for fanfic and make-believe, bad for an already established world-build with already established rules.

Keep it things to the lowest energy option possible, the easiest choice with all evidence taken in... and you find the most reasonable choice (until outright proven otherwise).

Chara is, like, 10, at most.

They don't have any monster soul to use to perform magic, they can't use other human souls, they can't do any more damage than what you can do--and you can do a lot more.

Gaining LV doesn't unlock godmode, it just makes you into a bastard. There aren't any skill trees or magic books to speak off in undertale, so there isn't any unlocking skills or spells that will magically give us, Frisk or Chara, some reality breaking ability over the world.

In fact, they're less powerful than the other soulless entity running around with us--Flowey. Flowey is pretty much the most powerful thing here by sheer malicious cunning (and I'm pretty certain he's got a whole root system underneath the ground of Underground, because how else is he moving about or commanding so many vines?)

So what, by all this, went on when you decided that killing everything in sight was a good idea?

Well.

Remember that we have the Red Soul, so think. What abilities do we do, with the Red Soul? We... ... Make choices for Frisk, as they appear. ... Fight, Act, Item and Mercy (which includes Fleeing or Sparing) ... React in the Battle Box.

But we additionally do... ... Save, Reset, Quit.

We know what happens when someone Hijacks the Save File, just ask Omega Flowey. (Yes I know he's "Photoshop Flowey" but Omega sounds cooler, so shush you.)

So what happens, when a 10 year old, driven psychotic by an eldritch force, who has some pretty severe guilt issues and strict ideas of "just rewards", is given the Red Soul?

They claim they're "destroying the world".

All they would be capable of doing is basically, forcing Quitting you. Crash the game, severe the connection.

Telling you the world was destroyed, was the easiest way to ensure you don't come back to do more damage. When you do come back, they offer you the ability to reset (but with their hands on the controller this time), in order to get the best ending.

Its in character for Chara, who poisoned themselves with the same buttercups that Asgore was accidentally poisoned by, to take the most strict just path possible to make up for guilt.

But the actions performed by a serial murderer, stay performed. Nobody is above consequences.

ADDENDUM:

Why would Chara go along with you? Well, its not like they have a choice, man. They're dead, they're attached to the red soul, they can offer choices but they can't make them themselves.

Why are they so encouraged to go psychotic when the end nears? ... Its call "Fawning", its a trauma response. Unfortunately, this kid is far too acquainted with trauma, judging by their implied history...

I am, not gonna lie, real tired of the Chara is the Villian malarkey. So will warn, that specific debate is not open for discussion with me.

This year, his band In This Moment dropped one of the best albums of 2023, GODMODE, toured arenas, had a song featured in John Wick: Chapter 4 and made some big plans for 2024.

Before 2023 comes to a close, we caught up with Howorth and In This Moment frontwoman Maria Brink about the last 12 months of music, movies, live shows and more.

WHAT WOULD YOU CONSIDER IN THIS MOMENT'S BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT OF 2023? CHRIS HOWORTH I think our biggest, proudest achievement is this new album GODMODE. And I would say that's kind of cliché because anybody who has a new album coming out is gonna say that.

But we went through the whole COVID pandemic with no new music coming out and weren't sure what was gonna be happening — like everybody else. We had all that on our shoulders, we've all been going through our own things, and releasing this album and how smoothly it all came together and how it all felt doing it...

We were saying "flow like a river" and quit worrying about every little thing over and over and just try to enjoy the process and just do it. And I think that's how it all came about. So that definitely, 100 percent, for me would be the crowning achievement of 2023.

MARIA BRINK I also agree, GODMODE coming together and the way that that happened. But I gotta show some love to [us being in] a John Wick movie this year. That was massive.

And then for us, we just headlined ... I'm originally from Albany, New York, and I started out at little, tiny theaters that hold 40 or 50 people there. Little mini clubs. And I just got to headline there on my last tour with an arena and pyro and it was just such a full-circle for me. My heart was full of love.

HOWORTH The tour was a big thing, too, for me. I was thinking while we were in it, "I can't believe this." This is the biggest we've ever been, this is what you think about when you're a little kid wanting to do it and we're here doing it. It's just crazy.

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE NEW BANDS YOU DISCOVERED THIS YEAR? HOWORTH For me, there's a band I found on Pandora. Because I sit and play video games a lot when I'm not doing music, and I smoke and listen to new metal stations and try to find new good bands that I like. I've never grown out of that. And I found this band called In Retrospect that are from England. And they're really cool and heavy, and hopefully they do really well. They're brand new.

And then there's this band Slaughter to Prevail that's blowing up, everybody's loving them right now.

And there's another band called Sylosis, and they've been around for a long time. They've always been cool, they've always had cool music. But their new album is super awesome and I think that this might be a big shift for them as well.

BRINK I think the newest thing I've been listening to that I'm loving is the new ††† (Crosses). I also love HEALTH, I've gotten into them a lot. Immortal Girlfriend is another one that I'm really loving. And Cannons.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE BAND YOU SAW LIVE THIS YEAR? BRINK I think I'm gonna say the same as Chris but I'm waiting for him to say it.

HOWORTH No, I'm gonna say something completely off the wall. Because I didn't watch a lot of bands this year even though we toured a lot. I'm gonna say Suicide Silence. They have a new album that came out, they're crushing it.

I saw them at the festival in Wisconsin and they crushed during the day so I'm gonna give it up to them.

BRINK Because it was nostalgic to me from when I was younger and all that, I'll say Pantera. They reunited, we did some festivals with them, and I went out and watched. And there was just that feeling of bringing you back watching it that makes me feel so nostalgic inside.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE MOVIE OF 2023? BRINK I'm gonna pick John Wick! [Laughs] There's a new horror movie that just came out, it's epic. It's called Talk to Me. Actually, it's really scary.

WHAT ARE YOU MOST EXCITED FOR IN 2024? HOWORTH GODMODE is out and 2024 is pretty much the GODMODE touring year. So I'm excited for whatever we do in 2024, and just another year, man.

Having an album out and everything, it should be exciting and cool. We've got some cool plans lined up for touring and seeing everybody.

BRINK I'm exciting for all the things we're trying to manifest. Everything around GODMODE, basically. New soundtracks, new movies. We want to get in the video game world.

HOWORTH I'm excited for Dune 2.

PORTRAYAL & INTERACTION NOTES.

within the crux of the elysian realm's chapters, APONIA is said to have committed suicide by sacrificing herself wholly to merge with the realm; hence, her later death when the elysian realm is destroyed in the final battle. since her simulation, too, has been deleted by the herrscher of corruption, aponia is hardly more than a remnant of what she once was. now, the issue of context.

in the theory of her giving the whole of herself to augment the elysian realm, i am taking the liberty of implying that being brought back by elysia to fight in the final battle with the other flamechasers allowed a fragment of her real body to exist outside the augmentation. thus, this aponia is ONLY HER SIMULATION, boosted by the quarter fragment of her real body; hence, the recreation of a more fragile, unstable elysian realm ( as she cannot exist without or outside of it, because of how wholly she sacrificed herself into its being ) .

to bind the flexibility of this, in the hopes of benefiting her place in gnostic hymns, meager lines of aponia’s code have been scattered across worlds to supplement a larger foundation of the elysian realm’s stability. with this, DIVISIONS OF APONIA'S SIMULATION ARE ALLOWED TO APPEAR OUTSIDE OF THE REALM, though they are weaker than the original and are bound to only remember the memories they make within that specific world, not including whatever memories they may already hold. ( for example, if your muse makes friends with the aponia in teyvat and travels to jarilo - vi, the aponia of that world will not recognize them, nor remember being their friend. )

in a similar light, aponia's DISCIPLINE and HEAVEN'S EYE are very significant to her character and thus, are usually difficult to avoid the usage or discussions of, even if done subtly. here's two quick(?) explanations of each;

aponia cannot control her HEAVEN'S EYE, as the threads of fate are always visible to her from where they sprout on people's foreheads. she describes these threads as silk, which break off once out of her peripheral; a limit she doesn't have when seeing the future in glimpses. of course, i will not assume anything of your muse in these cases, since i'd like to play around with that power narratively in more introspective threads. otherwise, it will be up to us whether or not it's fair to imply that she'll become somewhat aware of both your muses' past and distant future upon their first or second meeting.

however, with her DISCIPLINE, that power is more interactive. by default, even without it, aponia is a convincing soul, usually hardly refused; paired with discipline, she is never refuted nor refused, even if the person is aware of what's being done to them. as you can tell, this is beyond godmoding at its core. so, this boundary will only be crossed to make a thread or interaction crazier. to utilize discipline, all aponia must say is please, though i will italicize and adorn the word with brackets so it's clear when she does and doesn't compel it. similarly, discipline isn't simply mind control; it's the process of introducing an order unto another, the manner in which they abide by it depends on their wish. don't worry, it's complicated and can be further discussed later.

I. General RP etiquette applies. ↳ Artemis is one of the two chaaracters that I have the most muse to write for. Despite how high my muse is for her, activity is relatively low for Artemis. However, I am always down to write something for her, so please do not let the lack of activity on the blog keep you from reaching out to have our characters interact.

II. Please remember that your health comes first. Tumblr should not be in the way of you being at your best. Be aware that this blog’s activity can be sporadic due to my own issues. 

Regarding triggers, I do my best to tag accordingly. Triggers will be tagged as ’[insert trigger here] cw’ so please keep that in mind when blacklisting tags. I have personally blacklisted tags for gore, stalking and sexual assault.

III. Be aware that muse ≠ mun. I am not the characters nor are the characters me. I do not condone all of their actions. There are certainly be times where I will make mistakes, but I am doing my best to remain educated and be the best writer that I could possibly be.

I do not own any of the content listed on the blog unless stated otherwise. This includes the characters and the graphics. The only things I claim to me mine are the writing and the fan art that I have posted.

IV. Any sort of racism, anti-LGBTQ+ etc. is not tolerated and will be met with a hard block.

V. Crossovers are tentatively accepted. I need to be familiar with the fandoms to even consider.

VI. I generally do not mind how you stylise your writing unless it is unreadable. Format it as much as you’d like, but if I am unable to understand or reply, then I will simply drop our thread.

I am open to multi-para threads, short threads, one-liners, etc. I will just need something to work with from the previous reply to be able to continue onwards.

VII. I will not follow unless interest is expressed by another party (meaning a like on a promo or something along those lines). This is purely for my own comfort. But know that if I follow you, I do want to roleplay with you.

I will not connect with you unless I can figure out a way for our characters to interact. I will also not interact any minors, meaning anyone under the age of 18. If I find out that you are a minor, you will be immediately blocked. People who harass me for a follow back will also be blocked.

You are not obligated to follow my main blog, but that's where I will follow from as this is a sideblog.

VIII. When it comes to shipping, of course I have my personal preferences. If you think our characters would work well romantically and have had chemistry on the dash, then please send me a message so that we can discuss. Do not force me to ship.

I will only participate in NSFW situations with those that are if we are writing a scenario where the characters are over the age of 18. I do not write smut currently, finishing with a fade-to-black end, but I am not opposed to references, characters flirting sexually or participating in Sinday. But even then, it will be limited.

IX. Please communicate with me if you have an issue or would simply like to talk. My DMs on Tumblr are open to mutuals. Discord is only given out to those that I trust.

X. Each connection exists within their own pocket universe. There is no rollover unless discussed otherwise. I am perfectly fine with interacting with more than one version of a muse. It makes for interesting dynamics and allows for exploration. Adding onto this, mains/affiliates does not mean exclusives. Exclusives will be stated where necessary.

Hey guys! Quick update to my rules on Hardblocking. Nobody here has done anything, but I did update things here a little bit and wanted to make sure everybody was aware. Please keep in mind that there is a handy dandy TLDR in my rules and the reason my rules document is as long as it is, is to provide as many details as possible for folks like me, who like to have details to refer to in case there are questions! But the TLDR is also there for folks who just want the quick, general rundown because I know most folks don't want to read through the whole thing and that's fair. :p

⭐ Hardblocking

I don't hardblock people easily, except in cases of racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, pedophilia, etc. If I have an issue, I will come talk to you about it first and give warnings prior to blocking. I much prefer to talk about things and try to work things out before blocking.

If I have made every effort to comfortably communicate an issue with you or reach out to you in one way or another and I have not received any form of communication back, then I will hardblock. This doesn’t mean I will hardblock you if you’ve gone on hiatus or if an emergency has come up and you are unexpectedly gone for a long period of time - I’m talking about if you are still clearly actively roleplaying on the dash and I’ve tried reaching you for weeks and you are not responding to me. I think we can all agree there comes a point where it becomes obvious that you are being actively and purposely ignored and there’s no other way of explaining it.

If I have warned you many, many times about the same issue over and over again, then I will likely hardblock. I understand that having multiple writing partners who all have different rules means sometimes you will forget things. We’re all human, and I’m not perfect either. This is why communicating is so important. But if it’s something that becomes a significant issue, then I’m sorry, I may have no choice but to hardblock.

If there are repeated instances of you breaking very obvious and universal roleplay rules such as godmodding and metagaming, then I will hardblock you. This should speak for itself. I will let things go on occasion because we all make mistakes and I will communicate with you when things happen. But if you continue to metagame and godmod and manipulate your muse or mine in ways that break universal roleplay etiquette, I will block you.

If I find you’ve blocked me first, then I will also block you so your blog doesn’t keep coming up as a suggested blog.

I ask that if you truly don’t want to rp or talk ooc with me anymore, please hard block me instead of soft blocking. Tumblr has a glitch that randomly makes you unfollow people sometimes, so if you soft block me I’ll assume it was the glitch and follow you again. Hard blocking will communicate to me that you don’t wish to interact any further with me at all and I’ll get the message.

However, if you can’t be bothered to hard block me, and I’ve followed you but you never follow me back and outright ignore any attempts I have at initiating interactions with you, I will hard block you. If you have no interest in interacting with me and can’t be bothered to block me to send the message to me that you aren’t interested, then I will block you so I won’t come back later and try to initiate contact again. I have a Penguin mini-series called “Pain & Prejudice” somewhere. In it, a man commits a casual slight against Penguin, insulting him when he bumps into him on the street before, in horror, he realizes who it is and apologizes profusely. The Penguin laughs and tells him not to worry. But then oddly, the man finds himself fired at his job for embezzlement, his apartment burns down, his parents die in a very mysterious car crash, and a seemingly random person accosts his girlfriend on the street and injects her with something that doesn’t get specified but medicine hasn’t caught up to yet. All this goes to show just how cruel and petty the Penguin is, and just how much influence and power he has in Gotham. And I was thinking, it’s stated pretty often (though really not shown well bc I think writers often don’t know HOW) that Shaw has far greater influence, that the Hellfire Club has this on a global scale, that Shaw in particular can reach “princes, presidents, and popes” And again, not often demonstrated because you can’t punch that away, but we’re told he has it and I don’t doubt that. I think the reason we don’t see stories like this from Shaw is simply that he isn’t that petty. Penguin is portrayed as horrifically insecure and needing the love and approval, even if it must be bribed or forced, from all those around him, and punishing any deviation from that due to his trauma from bullying and abuse. Shaw very fucking blatantly doesn’t give a shit, there are multiple instances where he’s just “yeah I’m fucking asshole what about it” One of the few good moments he got in the Krakoa era was in a N.ew M.utants issue by Ed B.risson where a cartel leader calls him a swear and Shaw’s response is simply “That I am.” Which is not to say Shaw is a pushover—perish the thought!---but that he’s learned that the only opinion and approval that matters is his own. I say “learned” because we do learn in the backstory with L’s death that this wasn’t always the case. He’s horrified to learn of Ned’s betrayal, despite having been warned by L and T.essa, and concludes verbally that he let his own need for acceptance blind him to the truth all around him. So, at this point in his life, he did care about the opinions of others—namely, the uber rich, amidst whose ranks he had just been accepted, which makes sense—and it cost him the most important person in his life. Between that and the fact he clearly became more and more of An Absolute Bastard Man since that, one who is TEXTUALLY stated to no longer let himself be vulnerable to others and “handled relationships like chess games” out of the expectation he will always be betrayed, it’s no wonder to me he would stop giving a fuck what anyone things. Which is a cool way to be, don’t get me wrong, wish I was like that, but also isn’t coming from a place any less traumatic than Oswald’s, it just goes the other way because of different circumstances. And the point of this rant isn’t “Shaw is Better than Penguin bc Shaw isn’t petty” it absolutely is not. I actually LOVE Pengy, that’s why I own that miniseries! It’s just, it is often DIFFICULT to a play a muse with the power and reach that Shaw has, and not use it to godmod a whole bunch of terrible shit happening to other people’s characters who piss him off (which a lot do, that is the personal mission of more than one muse I write with!) like the Penguin does to that dude. Because like. . .I don’t want to do that, firstly it’s bad RP etiquette and second it would limit the characters I could keep interacting with. But Shaw is an incredibly powerful guy who very much could make life miserable (or over) for like…honestly, almost anyone he wanted. So it helps that I can just go “well he actively doesn’t give enough of a shit, you’re not worth the time to him that it would take to make those arrangements” But I am 1000% sure he could. (also: in the spirit of fairness to Pengy, he’s shown to be JUST as disproportionate in REWARDING genuine kindness shown to him and those he cares for as he is in punishing unkindness. For instance, when he sees the nurse who cared for his elderly mother is genuinely crying at his beloved mother’s death, he ensures she’s set for life. So his pettiness, ruthless and cruel as it is, also has equally generous aspects. Love that complexity!)

After 20 years, I beat American McGee's Alice...

This PC game originally released in 2000, and I played it in 2002 or 2003, when I was 8~9. I couldn't get very far in it back then because 1) the controls were atrocious (moreso now), 2) I did not have the patience even for video games with decent controls 3) It freaked me out way too much (Coming back to it now, it's a wonder it was ever considered the height of dark gritty edgy gorefest horror. There's barely any blood.) But the character was very meaningful for me as a young child who was dealing with a lot. Also it was very rare to find female characters who were the main, playable character in action games, let alone darker-themed ones.

But I beat it! Finally!!! Two decades later! And while the gameplay is beyond frustrating (I used godmode cheats for 80% of this playthrough), I think I appreciate it even more now since I can more fully read into what's there in the story; reading MORE into it than what is actually there, more like, but. Alice is a character wholly subsumed in her survivor's guilt, her depression, her desire to no longer be alive. All of these feelings festering corrupt and pollute the dreamland that was her safe space, her source of comfort, for her whole childhood; she loses her parents, and then when at the breaking point of mental turmoil, she goes to her Wonderland, she realizes she's lost all of her friends there as well. She has to watch them each die one by one as she fails to make it in time to save them. She is continuously taunted that she will always be insane, always have blood on her hands, never be strong enough or stable enough to save others or herself, and there's nothing she can do about it.

But then she reaches the Red Queen, who was always herself and her trauma writ in a simulacrum of flesh. She cuts her trauma and all of her ugly, self-loathing thoughts into (literal) bloody chunks. She's been chewed up and utterly devoured by the worst of her emotions and fears and suicidal self-hatred, and tears through it with her knife, accepts it for what it is and decides she no longer wants to be afraid of it, and comes out the other side with Wonderland and herself whole and shining.

She starts the game in an asylum, and walks out of it of her own accord with a smile on her face looking brightly into her future.

I think there are still issues with the portrayal of mental health and institutionalization in this, as there will always be in media of this nature and of this era especially, but at the same time, I appreciate the ending of her walking out of the asylum of her own free will with a smile on her face.

I have a lot I could talk about this... But look how long this is... its almost 5am... And there's too much that's way too personal that I don't want to get into here. But, for all of its faults and pitfalls, I still appreciate the skeleton of a story this game constructed. Even if I think it could have gone way deeper and think that the writing is actually pretty sparse on a replay.

02. MUN ≠ MUSE. It should go without saying but at the same time cannot be stressed enough. This is a morally grey and at times even villainous character. If you are easily offended we're likely not matching well as writing partners. Make sure beforehand that you can handle interacting with such a muse and do not take anything from ic interactions personal or too serious. If we started writing and, for any reason, you feel discomfort please communicate it. I’m always willing to take a step back and sort things out.

03. INTERACTIONS. Best way to interact with me is novel-style written text from the get-go. It doesn't have to be long, it's just way easier for me to reply to than ic talk. I usually drop smalltalk after one or two messages or won't reply at all, I'm sorry. For long-term text exchanges I prefer sideblogs over Google Docs since I'm not familiar with the latter (I'm willing to learn though if that's your preferred option). I'm also very open and curious to try threads, I'd love to have some writing on my blog. Feel free to hit me up if you're interested and are comfortable with doing any sorts of public threads.

04. WRITING. No godmodding, power play or meta gaming. I also don't like forcing or rushing certain dynamics that don't feel like natural character progression. Plotting beforehand is welcome but not mandatory. If it ever feels like being stuck we can pause the writing and have a small plotting session between scenes or even for the same scene. I am a big fan of the "yes, and" approach, give me something to work with. I don't have an estimated length for texts, it always depends.

05. FORMATTING. I don't do a lot of formatting. I have an icon border and prefer small font, my writing is usually continuous text with no line breaks for dialogue. Let me know if this is difficult to read for you and I will adjust, no questions asked. Generally, feel free to format your text as you wish but here are some things I have issues with: Excessive spacing between words (triple space and higher), excessive bolding or italicizing to a point where it distracts me; all caps, text from font generators (captions and highlighted phrases are perfectly fine but I can't read a whole text in those fonts).

06. SHIPPING. I'm multiship and multiverse, meaning every ship takes place in its own verse if not communicated otherwise. Michael is in a state of grieving and is therefore difficult to ship and it's certainly not my primary goal to get him into a romantic relationship as fast as possible. That being said, I do personally enjoy shipping but of course there's gotta be some good chemistry.

07. FOLLOWING. My approach to curating my dashboard is quite different, I would say, compared to what's considered standard. I follow a lot, and I mean a shitton, of people (2000+ blogs as of August 2024). I follow every blog out of interest and curiousity but please understand that it's impossible for me to interact with everyone. Don't get offended or take it personal when I follow but forget to reach out and also never feel obligated to follow me back. If you softblocked me in the past and I refollow you it's accidentially. Please hardblock me if you don't want that to happen again, I won't take it personal.

08. ACTIVITY. My blog is labeled low activity for a reason. Yes, I am here for rp, but I like to do lots of other things on Tumblr, too. There's periods of time where I don't have the energy to work on drafts or talk to anyone. Rest assured that you never did anything wrong when I disappear for a while. What I'm not willing to do is constantly giving activity updates on a schedule. I might make a post on current stats occasionally and if I go on hiatus for longer I will highly likely make a post about it.

4) NO GODMODING

You have to make sure your characters have weaknesses. If in a fight you have to make sure all parties agree on the outcome or roll for it. You CANNOT control someone's character that isn't yours. Have fun but make sure everyone else is too.

5) If You Want Your Villain to Commit A Crime Talk To Me

Obvi we want the characters to do stuff to forward the plot. But we also wanna make sure everything goes smoothly. If you want a crime to take place and be put in the news channel for others to react to, or if you wanna host some sort of event where your villain has a whole plot, come talk to me! DM me so we can get started on your dastardly plans! However, if you also just wanna do an impromtu thing with another person's character that's swaggy too.

6) Keep A Check on SP Humor

We all know the stuff said in SP and the jokes aren't always very nice. Just be cautious of the things you and your characters say. No slurs that you can't reclaim especially not thrown around at people. And even then keep them on the DL jic there are people in here that can reclaim but don't want to. Queer is NOT a slur

7) Darker Content is Okay Just Be Mindful of Others

Use the spoilers and tag things if you think it could be on the darker side or if someone asks you to. Thinks like depictions of gore or heavy violence. Just be mindful of everyone and give warnings to them.

8) Identities are Secret. This is an AU

At the start of this rp NO ONE knows each others identities. There is a channel to of track of who knows who. Do NOT assume your character knows make sure you ask and agree with the other party before having someone know another's identity.

You can do with this what you like but I highly suspect that the new rpc-home-truths is Nolan in disguise. Dude has been a problem in the tumblr rpc since 2015 stealing theme codes and original character ideas and plagiarizing other media sources for his “original rp” plots and claiming it all his own. On top of that he’s known for hella godmodding in threads, harassing and stalking his partners that he gloms onto because they have a male fc he’s super attracted to, blatantly ignores female characters because he’s not interested in m/f romance/smut, ignores rp lore, and has been kicked out of a few groups, like Empire and Corinth Bay to name a couple recent ones that I know of, for his behavior. He’s also been racist and misogynistic with the premade characters and lore he’s created in his own rps. And when he’s kicked out and called out for his shit? Gaslighting for days to paint himself as a victim. He’s still going on about drama from 2015 where he was 100% the aggressor and problem.

I know it sounds crazy and conspiratory. That rpc-home-truths talks a lot like how Nolan does, using “staff” as opposed to “admin” or “mod,” and I bet is about to rehash the whole shit he did from his perspective again. The blog just hid their likes but I saw a few pics of nearly naked buff dudes plus a photo set of Joshua Orpin, who is a fc Nolan has been using frequently since 2020.

Okay this is a lot. I have a lot of thoughts so i’m going to bullet point. But firstly do not send hate to this blog or any of the blogs mentioned above. That shit just keeps the fire going and responding to toxic behavior with toxic behavior gets no one anywhere. Moving on 

This guy has been called out many times over the years. I remember lurking and reading about him over and over again. In cases like these if you're the common denominator you're probably the problem. And you should probably start looking introspectively on what went wrong 

That 2nd link to his blog is wild…. I scrolled through a couple of pages and there's just straight up smut out there in the open? I know I just preached about being open to someone not knowing something but I think everyone should know what the read more button is and use it ? Like i’m all for smut but c’mon some of us rp at work and yes people should know the risks of doing that but the read more button is right there- and on a definitely more important note, it could be super triggering

At this point the proof is right there.  This isn’t a ‘witch hunt’ or ‘drama’ this is a person with some serious issues who should be avoided at all costs. And to have an rpc-home-truths defending them using that vocabulary is disgusting. The internet can 100% have an affect on people's mental health, and Nolan’s actions has affected many people .he should be named, shamed, and blocked

Speaking of rpc-home-truths its been really gross in their defense of Nolan. One of them posted a scenario that put out a scenario about s*uicide basically victim blaming the ‘mob’ or whoever is against Nolan, Except as an example she used her daughter. And to top it off put in the tags with no trigger warning or tags, and it is still up as of now. I find this disgusting, I am not a mother but why would you put that energy out into the world about your daughter?? Its gross and manipulative. And to not have it tagged? I feel like anyone rping who are decent humans know that has to be tagged. It should have never been posted in the first but at least tag it or warn people in some way so they can choose to ignore it. 

Call me a coward but I have blocked them already( and screenshotted the post in case they delete and act like that it never happened), they have a blog they can defend themselves on but how that was handled has given me enough information on who they are as people and I don’t want to see them or  interact with them.
