these tags on this poll suck literally so much. everyone in the notes is being really judgmental for no reason (especially when a lot of people just will have really unhappy skin if they shower daily) but this one really grinds my gears like... 1. there are a lot of disabilities that might make showering harder, and in some cases showering is hard because of the physical experience of being in warm/hot water. if i stand up in the shower i feel dizzy and unstable while i'm in the shower and then like i'm getting a cold for the rest of the day. before i got a shower chair i would have to take really quick showers. and even sitting in the shower can be really hard depending on the day and how i'm feeling. some people with similar conditions to me literally can't sit up even when they're not in the shower. but also 2. hello "only excuse is disabled people who don't receive assistance" that's literally... such a large swath of disabled people. i'm glad this person got assistance when they needed it but so many people don't even realize they might need assistance, and then when you do realize it the chances of actually getting it are really low. like... having someone available and able to help you in the shower every single day is such a massive privilege. being able to shower every single day, even sitting down, even with help, is a massive privilege. AND THAT'S IF YOU EVEN WANT TO SHOWER EVERY SINGLE DAY TO BEGIN WITH.

Chapter Two: You'll Never Hunger Again

Summary: Going back to school after everything the past month was weird for Peter, but he was glad for it. He was glad things were going back to normal, even though the new normal had tony being his actual father now. Unfortunately, the normal also consists of Flash being his usual dick-self. 
“Do you have everything you need? Books, pens, pencils, paper, backpack, lunch money?” Tony rambles, Peter chuckling at how the man seemed even more nervous for Peter to go back to school than Peter was; which was saying something because Peter was basically a nervous wreck to be going back. 
It’s been another month - making it two whole months since Peter’s been to school - and Tony and Peter were finally settled in just enough for them to feel ready to send Peter back to school.
Tony was able to gain temporary guardianship pretty easily and now they were currently in the middle of the adoption process. They’ve even managed to find the storage locker that held all of Peter and May’s belongings, and transferred what would Peter wanted over to his room at the tower. Tony reassured Peter that the rest would stay in that locker until Peter was eighteen and figured out what he wanted done with the rest.
Peter’s also been working on getting caught up school-wise since he no longer had to worry about where he was going to stay or if he was going to be able to eat.
Tony quickly explained to the school what happened - leaving out the very intimate details about Peter being homeless thanks to the abusive douche that the managed to get arrested - and the school agreed to allow Peter time to grieve and to catch up. 
Tony and Peter both have determined over the weekend that he was now all caught up and ready to start going back to school. 
“Yes, Tony, I have all of the schools supplies that I need and I’ve already packed my lunch so I don’t need lunch money.” Peter answers, not even bothering to hide his amusement. 
“Alright, hot-shot, I’m just making sure that you’re all set.” Tony teases back, ruffling Peter’s hair as he walks around the kitchen island.
“I’ve got everything. I should be fine.” Peter says, sounding a bit unsure at the end.
“Hey. You will be fine, it’ll all be fine. Just remember that there’s no real expectations, and if it gets to be too much, feel free to call me and I can come get you. There’s nothing wrong with only going for half a day.” Tony reassures, rubbing little circles into Peter’s shoulder for comfort. 
“I know it’s just going to be weird falling back into a normal schedule after so long.” Peter shrugs.
“I understand, Pete. And, again, if it all becomes too much, the offer of calling me and leaving early is still on the table. No one will think less of you if you need to come home early.” Tony repeats, Peter giving the man a genuine smile. 
 Not for the first time in the past month, Peter marvels at how lucky he got with having Tony in his life.
“Well, we better get going if you don’t want to be late.” Tony says, causing Peter to shove the last spoonful of cereal in his mouth and put the bowl in the sink while Tony grabs his keys.
“Alright, Kid, lets go get your learning on.”

The day was actually going a lot better than peter thought it would.
Falling back into his classes was a lot easier than Peter was expecting. He managed to catch up enough at home to understand what was going on during lecture, and having Ned and M.J there for support helped a lot too. 
Now, it was time for lunch, which Peter couldn’t wait for because his stomach was growling like crazy.
Over the past month, Tony would constantly be feeding Peter snacks and meals to try and get him to gain back the weight he lost. Peter had gotten so used to this that, by the time lunch actually rolled around, he was starving.
Peter also knew that finals were coming up fairly soon and that - because he hasn’t been in school for the past two months - he should probably be spending this time studying while he can. Which is why he thought it would be a great idea to set his lunch up in the library before going back to his locker to grab his books. 
Key word: thought.
Because now, as he walks back into the library towards where his lunch was sitting, and saw none other than Flash Thompson sitting at the table - Peter’s lunch missing - he no longer thought it was a great idea.
“Oh, Parker, was this your spot?” Flash asks, although the shit-eating grin he was wearing proved that he already knew the answer to this question. 
“Can you just tell me where you put my lunch?” Peter questions, not really in the mood for Flash’s games.
“Well, I was just trying to do my part in keeping the school clean and I thought it was trash so I got rid of it.” Flash tells him.
Peter just sighed and hung his head a little because - of course- of course something something like this would happen. The day was going by way too smoothly for something not to happen.
Peter plopped down at another table and began opening his book, hoping that if he got lost in his studies he could ignore the aching hunger he was feeling.

So, turns out, trying to ignore your hunger just makes it worse.
For the rest of the day, Peter was completely restless. He tried focusing on the lectures since was just barely caught up, but all he could think about was how hungry he was and how much his stomach was growling. 
At one point, it got so loud that even Ned heard it. Thankfully, the teen had an extra granola bar and gave it to Peter to snack on. The only problem was that it seemed to make the situation worse. Now that Peter’s stomach got a little taste of food, it was freaking out and growling even more. 
By the time the last bell rang, signaling that the day was done, Peter felt completely nauseous. His stomach stopped growling a long time ago and now he just had terrible hunger pains. At this point, Peter didn’t even feel hungry anymore, he just felt sick.
What didn’t help his nausea was the memories that came with this feeling. Peter had hoped that he would never have to go through the feeling of extreme hunger again when Tony came and found him, and feeling it right now just made Peter feel all panicky. 
Logically, he knew that he would have food once he got home - that Tony would have something either cooked up or ordered in and ready for when Peter got home from school - but the survival side of Peter’s brain that he developed was screaming at him
It was making him spiral. All he could think about was that he was hungry, he didn’t have food, and it was making him believe that he wasn’t going to get any food any time soon; which didn’t help with the panicking, which also didn’t help with the nausea. 
Peter was just grateful that it was time to go home. He had to keep reminding himself as he packed his bag up that Tony was here to take him home where it was safe and that he would get to eat soon. 
As soon as he had all of his books in his bag, Peter shut his locker door and all but ran out of the school, not even bothering to say goodbye to Ned or M.J. His brain was just screaming for him to get to Tony. He just needed Tony. Tony would make it better.
“Hey, Kiddo. How was your-” Tony begins to greet once Peter opens up the passenger door, only to get cut off by Peter all but throwing himself on him. Tony instantly wrapped his arms around the teen, holding him close and allowing him to get all the comfort he needed in the moment. 
“Do you want to talk about it right now?” tony asks, rubbing Peter’s back when all he did was shake his head. “Alright. We’ll talk about it when we get home then; because we do have to talk about it. For now, how about we go out to that little diner we went to a little while back.” Tony says, patting Peter on the back one last time.
Peter just sighed as he reluctantly pulled away and buckled up.
the entire ride there was filled with Tony talking about anything and everything in order to get rid of the thick silence that consumes the car. Peter couldn’t bring himself to really respond; not when almost every move made the pain in his stomach feel worse.
Peter was so caught up in his spiraling thoughts, it wasn’t until Tony lightly grabbed his hand that he realized they were finally sat down in the restaurant. Peter slowly looked up, only to look right back down when he saw Tony’s concerned look.
“Do you wanna tell me what’s going on in that mind of your, Underoos?” Tony asks, absentmindedly thanking the waitress when she brought them their waters. Peter just shrugged, looking back down and watching the condensation roll off the side of his glass. “Alright, well, lets start small; were you able to fall back into your classes easily?” Tony prods.
“Yeah. M.J and Ned helped out a lot.” Peter mumbles, guzzling down his water in hopes that it’ll fill him up until their food comes.
“Okay, so classes went good then?” tony questions, trying to figure out what the problem was. Peter gave another nod before steeling himself with a deep breath.
“Flash stole my lunch today. I didn’t want it to ruin my day, since it was going so well, but I guess I underestimated how hungry I would be because of it.” Peter explains. Tony knew that the teen had more to say, but that was when the waitress came and began setting their food down, so he figured he would give Peter that moment to gather the rest of his thoughts. 
"It just- It reminded me of when I was staying in the warehouse. How I was constantly hungry and never knew when I would eat next and - I don't know - I guess my brain just went into panic mode." Peter continues, Tony giving him a sympathetic look in return when he saw the boy's eyes filling with tears.
Tony knew what Peter meant. When he came back from Afghanistan, he was unsure of everything. For a while he would always be waiting for the rug to be pulled out from under him, for him to wake up back in that cave and have his entire rescue be all a dream. He knew what it was like to have even the slightest thing trigger those feelings and send his body into panic and survival mode.
Tony slowly got up and sat next to Peter, wrapping his arms around the teen and hugging him close. Peter took the opportunity to snuggle close and get the comfort he so desperately needed at that moment.
"I understand that sometimes it's hard to believe, but I promise that'll never happen again. You don't ever have to worry about not being able to eat again. And the next time something like this happens, please call me, Buddy. I'll be there in a heartbeat." Tony says, rubbing the boy's back in attempt to soothe him.
"I didn't want to bother you." Peter whimpers, lifting his face out of the crook of Tony's neck; although he didn't go far, he just laid his head on Tony's shoulder.
"You could never be a bother to me, Pete. Even if you needed something as simple as needing a pencil, I want you to call me. Especially if it's about something that's bothering you." Tony informs, Peter nodding to show he understood.
"For now though, why don't we enjoy our dinner and figure out what we can do about this Flash kid." Tony says, reaching over the table and dragging his plate over to where he was. He figured that it would be better if he sat next to Peter and ate; he figured they both could use the comfort from the close proximity.
"Hey, Tony?" Peter chimes in before they dug into their food.
"Yeah, Pete?"
"I love you." Peter whispers, laying his head back on his father-figure's shoulder. Both of them just sat there for a bit, almost as if they were waiting for the other to do something about this. It was the first time either one of them said those words out loud despite the fact that they both very clearly felt love for each other.
"I love you too, Pete. So much." Tony whispers back, trying to blink the tears that formed away as he buried his face in his kid's curls. "So much."

Personally I think one of the biggest problems of the show is the lack of family flashbacks. I mean, the relationship of Penny and Victor is very interesting. She obviously didn't like him, but what she said when she found out about Patty's first pregnancy? Or what she said when he left (according to the theory) in Piper's birthday? What do you think?
The obvious counterpoint to this is that the flashbacks sometimes were uhhh Bad (this is specifically about witchstock, which really threw a wrench in grams characterization). But as far as Victor's whole relationship with the Penny (and Patty!), as well as just that timeline in general, here are a few of my thoughts:
Penny definitely raises Patty as a witch, and Patty is extremely gifted and well versed by the time she's an adult
Sidenote: I think Patty had molecular deceleration at first, like Penny's mother, which, as she grew, grew to molecular immobilization
Penny canonically had a revolving door of husband's after Allen, meaning Patty had a bunch of temporary dads, and if I had to guess, she didn't like any of them
Despite too many step dads and Penny's general misandry, I do think Patty was a secret romantic
Like every romance she would have would end miserably, but she still secretly had an optimistic heart
Patty also never told any of her partners she was a witch as Penny definitely instilled a fear of that driving them off
Victor met Patty at some diner when she was out with her girlfriends and he was prepping for some hotshot meeting
Victor is obviously starstruck by her and is such a flirt, but Patty's on the heels of yet another bad break-up, so she turns him down
But they Keep Running Into Each Other
Victor, joking, of course, says it's fate, but Patty can't help but wonder
Everything cumulates when Patty sees Victor on the streets of San Francisco, definitely about to get hit by a car, and quickly freezes the scene and pulls him out of the way
Victor obviously shoots his shot again like "you just saved my life, the least I can do is buy you dinner" and he takes her to some swanky place and she falls head over heels in love with him
At this point, the only one who knows about Patty and Victor is the Halliwell whitelighter, Elizabeth, who has been the whitelighter in the family since the speakeasy
Penny can obviously tell her daughter's in love, and just prays it's with some level headed witch
I also imagine Penny has tried to set up her daughter with family friends numerous times in the past
Patty and Victor seem permanently stuck in the honeymoon phase, and the whole "secret romance" really adds to the thrilling of things
After about six to seven months Victor goes on some business trip to New York for like a week and a half, and returns with a ring
"I lived for a week and a half without you and it was worse than any moment in the 20 years I've lived before I knew you. All I know now is that I love you and I never want to be without you."
Patty says yes!! but then realizes she's going to have to explain the diamond ring on her finger to Penny
Penny is, as expected, furious, but is willing to play along because she's convinced that she can get them to break up before the wedding
Despite all her small torments (whenever she's around, Victor's drink always spills on him, his shoelaces always become untied, his keys always go missing), the two successfully get married
Penny So Very Much wants to mention being a witch in her mother of the bride speech, but can't because it's too public of a setting
Besides, Patty promised she'd tell Victor on their wedding night
Which she does, technically. He's just frozen every time she tries to tell him (a grand total of four times)
At first, Victor moves into the manor with Patty, but after Penny constantly berating him over breakfast of how he's not getting this house, not matter how hard he tries! he also chooses to keep his apartment in the city, and tried to convince Patty to move in with him there
Victor also gets a promotion at work, making him travel a lot more
He doesn't mind because the east coast means a break from Penny and the constant tiny woes that follow him around the manor
He brings Patty out with him, and she loves New York, for the first couple times at least
Since it's not vacation but work, Victor's always in one meeting or another, and Patty's usually alone, so she stops going and starts staying at home
It's some time around mid March that Patty realizes she pregnant, and she knows her child is going to be a witch
It's time to tell Victor but Patty can't bring herself to do it. She says she's waiting until he come back from New York, but she says that every time. Then she doesn't want to tell him because he just got back, then it's because he just settled back into things, then it's because he's about to go on a trip and she doesn't want to make him anxious, then it's because he's in New York
Sometime in June, while Patty's still dragging her feet, Penny calls Victor on the phone, leaving a message saying "I'm a witch and so it your wife, and I'd place good money your daughter will be one, too."
Patty Flips. She doesn't talk to her mom for a month.
Immediately after the phone call Patty has Elizabeth orb her out to New York and tells Victor everything
He ends up staying on the East Coast an extra week
But he comes back home, willing to give it a shot. After all, he's still in love with Patty, and she's still the same person, she's just, you know, a witch
Now that she can practice magic in the open Penny's torment grows So Much Worse
Patty and Victor move back into the manor because it's a much better place to raise a daughter, but Penny consistently pushes Victor to the edge
Personal favorite: there's only a little bit of Special K left and Victor opens the cabinet to fix himself a bowl, but Penny telekinetically grabs it and uses it all. She doesn't even like Special K
Prue is born in late October, and is a telekinetic like her grandmother before her.
Penny is thrilled, and is teaching Prue her powers before she can form a sentence. Victor is terrified.
Everything really comes to a head when a darklighter attacks, killing Elizabeth
Penny and Patty are wracked with grief, but Victor is more worried for Prue, who was in the room when the darklighter attacked
Victor wants to bind Prue's powers and raise her away from magic, Penny accuses him of preying on their grief to push his own agenda
Victor argues that if his "agenda" is keeping his daughter alive, he'll gladly accept the charges
The next time he travels to New York he brings Prue and Patty with him
They stay for two weeks, and Victor tries to convince Patty to stay permanently. It doesn't work.
Patty returns home with Prue, Victor follows a couple days later. In this time, Patty learns she's pregnant again.

Victor again moves up in the ranks at work, and becomes less and less present, both out of necessity and out of resentment for the magic going on in his home
He's away at work when Piper is born. Penny doesn't let that one go.
With Sam's presence, two magical daughters, and Penny's constant berating, it's almost inevitable that Victor's gone by summer, moving to New York permanently
On the surface, Penny's glad he's gone, but now that Victor's not there, Patty's relationship with Sam becomes much more apparent
Also, Penny finds it a lot easier to hate Victor than to hate Sam, and because of this, she hates having Sam around the house
Victor never really gets over Patty, and usually can't stay away for more than four months at a time, before being chased away by Penny or some looming threat of an affair
The final nail in the coffin is really the summer of 1977, when returns to try to rekindle the relationship yet again, but sees Patty is clearly pregnant, with who he can only assume to be Sam's child
Victor would return after Patty's death, thinking that now that the girls had had their powers bound he could raise them normally.
Unfortunately, as long as they're in the manor, magic continues to attack.
Victor wants to take the girls away with him to New York, he even offers to put up Penny with them, but Penny refuses
Victor tries to explain that they don't have to sell the manor, he'll keep the manor, he just wants the girls safe
Penny argues the only safe place is with her, Victor says he could protect his girls just fine.
To prove her point, Penny asks him what he'd do if a demon magically threw him out of the house, and before Victor can answers, Penny has sent him flying out the manor door.
"Face it, Victor. You're not cut out for raising them. The girls stay with me."
She slams the door in his face.
Victor doesn't return to California until the late 90s.

my seokjin story is really really long and extremely heavy and i understand people may not want to read that so i’ll keep my response under a read more. word of warning though (please consider it carefully and seriously), i talk about a lot of the negative emotions and thoughts i experienced so if you think reading about it may affect your own mental health please don’t!
i was into kpop since 2009/2010 and when bts debuted i fell in love with their music and mvs and the message they were putting out. because i was preoccupied with other groups back then, though, i never fully got into them as a “stan��, just supported their works from the sidelines. even then i was really drawn by jin’s energy and i knew he was my bias but like i said, i didn’t love them the way i do now. what really sealed the deal for me was when awake was released. i was going through a really hard time and honestly it was a really dark period in my life. i was depressed. everyday felt hollow and i lived each day waiting for it to end so i could go to bed and pretend i didn’t exist. i went to sleep wishing i never woke up to another day again, i hated my existence. i was so tired all the time for no reason. i would sleep so much, waste ¾ of each day just sleeping but i just could never stop feeling tired. i couldn’t find the energy to care about anything at all and obviously my grades slipped really dramatically. still, i couldn’t bring myself to care and a part of me was actually really glad. it’s hard to explain but at the time i wanted to sabotage myself and my future, i wanted to self-destruct just because i hated my life so much i wanted to destroy the future i was headed. this is such a vivid memory for me but i was lying on the bed after school one day just feeling numb and spacing out and i had music playing on my phone and awake came on. and even when i didn’t understand the lyrics i felt the emotions in jin’s voice weighing down on me and something in me just broke. i started bawling my eyes out and honestly, i needed it. i hadn’t felt anything for a long time and my body felt so heavy and suffocated yet empty at the same time and when i finally cried it felt like i was letting it all out. even when i didn’t understand what the song was about i heard the pain and desperation and sadness behind it and it resonated with me so much. but it was the hope that really got to me. obviously music is up to personal interpretation but even as the song was so sad i heard so much foolish hopefulness clinging onto jin’s voice and i really needed that you know? needed to be reminded i could still cling onto the hope everything will get better in time even when i hated where my life was, that i was still allowed to believe in myself even when i was a mess. i know this sounds really dramatic like how can a song you didn’t understand trigger so much reflection and such a big emotional response? i can’t explain it to you because i don’t understand it either and you don’t have to believe me but it’s still my story. anyways after that i clung onto the temporary feeling of being understood and comforted that only jin managed to give and ended up watching a bunch of his videos. note! 2016 was also the year bh’s stupid act cold because you’re handsome bullshit stopped and jin could finally be himself more. so i watched so many videos of jin laughing his dorky windshield wiper laugh, cracking dad jokes and not caring about other people’s reaction as long as it made him happy, eating so happily and stuffing his hamster cheeks so full because he loved food and those moments would be the only part of my days when i could smile and be happy even for just a while. it was like watching him be happy for me? that sounds weird but i was so numb to everything back then and watching jin find so much unadulterated joy in the smallest and simplest things felt like he was enjoying life for me while i couldn’t. so i pretty much lived vicariously through him. watching him laugh himself silly over dumb things also gave me the hope that i can get better and one day i could be that happy too. he was basically my coping mechanism. he preached so much about the importance of happiness and he was constantly wishing for armys’ happiness and each time he did, it gave me even more drive to work towards that. he was my safe haven. i remember the first day of my alevels (the exam you take to go into uni) and by then i was already doing a lot better mentally but i had been self-destructing for the past 2 years so there was no chance of me coming out of the exam okay. and i just knew i was walking into a hopeless situation, into inevitable failure and it was hard for me to digest that especially because i’d consistently been a top-performing student ever since i was a kid but i knew this time there were consequences and setbacks to my future waiting ahead. i remember crying in the backseat of my dad’s car on the way to school to take the exam and i listened to awake one more time and it helped calm me a lot, enough for me to rationalise i couldn’t change the inevitable, but this doesn’t mean it’s the end of me and i was still capable of working towards my goals after the deed is done, even if it meant i was behind my peers. of course, in no way am i saying jin was my miracle cure. helping myself into a healthier mental state was, still is, a long journey. it took a lot of work and i still struggle with it occasionally. i had so many days when i wanted to just give up, fuck the tiniest glimmer of hope jin gave me to hell and just let myself be miserable, days when i feel so useless and stupid, incomplete and not enough but i know how to deal with those emotions better now. i’ve had a lot of internal battles and i know it was my own efforts that saved me, but i am still eternally grateful to jin for being a source of strength, inspiration, motivation, encouragement, a haven and a reprieve that made the journey easier. which is why i love him so much, he’s a person with so much love and kindness in his heart, so much happiness and hope he wants to share with the world and i’m truly indebted to him. i will always remember his voice and his heart as gifts that transformed my life, and even when we grow old and my affections for him eventually fade and i don’t get to see or hear of him anymore, nothing will, or can ever change that. and because nothing can, i'll always love jin in my own way.

So im going to be doing psychiatric inpatient tomorrow and im horribly frightened. My s.o. and friends want me to go, but the idea of being trapped without home comforts and the people I love scares me so much Ive considered running away from the hospital or convincing them I dont need it. I know that my depression and psychosis is getting worse and I probably need the help, but im upset that the people I care about would rather send me away than just, be supportive. Any advice?
hey love. well first of all i just want to say that i’m really fucking proud of you for reaching out in the first place. that’s literally a monumental step to take, and it requires unbelievable strength, which you obviously have. honestly, i think that you’re allowed to be scared. you’re completely allowed to not want to go, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t. fear of the unknown, of change, of talking about what’s going on in your head, of not being around your family - those are all stressful experiences, and terror is a natural human reaction to them. you dont have to push it away, you’re not wrong for feeling it. it would be weird if you weren’t afraid, actually, especially at this point. it’s alright to just process it, and to work through it one hour at a time. or one minute at a time, if an hour seems like too much. but it’s not alright to let these emotions control you completely, or to let them blind you, or to cope with them in an unhealthy way. that’s the distinguishing line - it’s the difference between having a thought, and actually acting on it. the truth is, you don’t know what it’s going to be like. when you’re overly anxious, your mind kind of convinces you that negative thoughts are 100% true, but that’s not the case. your worries are not premonitions. the future doesn’t even exist yet, it’s not something that is currently in your control. while the hospital will probably be sad and uncomfortable, it’s likely that it will also be relieving and peaceful. you have to take the good with the bad, and let that be enough. think of the worst case scenario, and the best case scenario, and prepare yourself for it turning out to be somewhere in the middle, in actuality. it’s wonderful that you can recognize that you actually do need help. the level of self awareness you have could save your life. that’s a tangible fact that you can hold on to. when your brain tries to tell you that you dont need to talk to anyone, or when the anxiety takes over, you can always ground yourself in reality. and the reality of it is that you’re not well. but support is available, and your current situation is not where you’ll always be. you’re not alone. there’s no shame in needing treatment, you know? your mental health is just as important as your physical health, and sometimes it needs intense care in order to improve, just like any other bodily ailment. please, please try to constantly bring your mindset back to looking after yourself. please try to keep that your top priority, even when you don’t feel capable, even when you’re afraid. you’re not going to regret doing what’s right for you, ever. it sounds cliche, and it sounds like bullshit, and maybe it’ll take a while before you actually believe me but eventually, you will. seeking professional guidance and truly looking into your options will allow you to figure out the root causes of your mental illness, which will then allow you to finally confront them adequately. having someone to talk to consistently, working closely with people that are trained specifically to help you, figuring out your own self destructive patterns and then actively working on refuting them - all of that will add up. every single effort you make is going to pay off.  your future self is going to thank you.
i know it may seem like the people that care about you are just ‘sending you away’, and i can certainly see why your mind would want you to believe that. but i really do think that they think that putting you in hospital is going to help you more than it will hurt you. they want you to be safe and healthy so that they can spend more time with you in the future, and so you dont have to live with all of the pain and heaviness that you’ve been living with so far. a depressive brain will ALWAYS make it look like everyone is sick of you, or like nobody understands, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. of course, i dont know what the dynamic is like with your family, but i’m certain that there are at least some people in your life that are genuinely doing this with good intentions. i’m not saying you shouldn’t feel the way you do, because i can 100% understand why you perceive the situation like that, i’m just saying there is more than one side to it. it’s not as black and white as just wanting to ‘send you away’, you know? in addition, you’ll be amazed at your own ability to adapt and to grow and to improve. if you’re honest with the professionals, and if you’re willing to just give it a go, then that’s what matters the most. the simple act of trying is more than good enough, man. not having home comforts, and not seeing your family as much will obviously be very upsetting. that’s to be expected, therefore it’s something you can prepare yourself for. something you can work through. you can come to terms with it at your own pace, in your own way. you will learn how to handle it because you have the tools to do so, and that’s really all you need. running away from the hospital wont change anything, and convincing people that you’re okay when you’re not could have disastrous consequences, and is also rather unlikely. it’s clear that the best choice you can make at this moment in time is to  put yourself first utterly and completely. even before your own fear. it’s a lot easier said than done, i know. and since it’s the day before you have to go, this is the worst it’s going to be in terms of how scared you are. but you dont want to look back in a few months or a few years and regret not grabbing the opportunity to get help when it was right in front of you. and that fact is far more important than any temporary emotional turmoil that you’re dealing with. it may help to talk to your parents or a family member/friend about how you’re feeling tonight, so that you dont need to carry the worry all on your own. 
again, i’m extremely proud of you. and i think you’re going to do so so well. you just need to give yourself a fair chance, that’s all. this process isn’t supposed to be easy or comforting, especially not at first, but it’s also not going to be anywhere near as bad as you think it’s going to be. i’m sorry angel, i get that it’s difficult, and i wish there was something i could actually do for you. but i’m rooting for you so so much. you’re strong, capable, worthy and loved. and you’re a good person. even if you cant see it at the moment. your happiness and mental well being is so important. the hospital stay isn’t going to last forever, but what you learn there might. i’m sending you all of the love in my heart. i seriously hope you’re able to find the peace that you deserve. i’ll keep you in my thoughts. i’m always here if you need a friend, or if you want to talk about it properly. hit me up any time.

Applications
macOS Mojave and Catalina have brought iOS and the Mac closer. First, there was the addition of Voice memos, Stocks, and Home apps to the Mac. Then, Apple got rid of iTunes and replaced it with TV, Music, and Podcasts to mirror the equivalent apps in iOS. The Mac App Store has also been overhauled since High Sierra, making it easier to find the best apps and allowing developers to offer trial versions.
There’s a new FindMy app that replaces Find My iPhone, Find My Mac, and Find My Friends, and it can find your Mac even if it’s sleeping or offline. And you’ll notice improvements in lots of Apple’s built-in apps like Reminders, which is rebuilt in Catalina, Notes, Safari, and Photos. You can now mute entire threads in Mail, just as you can in Messages, and make group calls with FaceTime.

In Mojave, Apple added the ability to use your iPhone’s camera to scan documents directly on your Mac. And it continued that theme in macOS Catalina by allowing you to use an iPad as a second display for your Mac and as a graphics tablet. A feature called Continuity Markup also allows you to markup PDFs on an iPad and have the changes show up on your Mac. Finally, Mojave added a feature that allowed you to unlock your Mac with an Apple Watch, and Catalina has taken that further by allowing you to authenticate certain actions on your Mac by clicking the button on an Apple Watch. Apple’s iOS devices now work much more closely with the Mac than they did in High Sierra.
iCloud
Apple has added a lot to iCloud since High Sierra, turning it into a serious alternative to Dropbox or Google Drive. You can now sync your Desktop and Documents folders in iCloud, meaning they will be the same no matter which Mac you log into your iCloud account from. And you can now share entire folders with other people, rather than just individual files.
More gatekeepers and security checks
There have been some big improvements in this area since High Sierra. In macOS Mojave, Safari made it much more difficult for websites to follow you around the web by preventing so-called ‘fingerprinting.’ In macOS Catalina, apps will have to ask permission to access your Desktop or Documents folders, as well as iCloud Drive and external disks. And they’ll also have to get your permission before capturing keyboard strokes or taking a photo or video of your screen. And macOS Catalina introduces Activation Lock, which means only you can erase or re-activate your Mac.
What if I don’t feel like upgrading?
Many people live happily using older operating systems because old is gold, right? But if your Mac is underperforming and you think that the mere switch to macOS Catalina will solve everything, you’d likely be disappointed. But the more realistic way to improve the performance of your macOS is freeing up its memory and removing old apps. Really. We’ve seen many good-maintained Macs running the ancient El Capitan that actually performed better than the latest machines.

What adventures are you willing to take? Which ones do you not prefer? It’s all a matter of choice. Get used to making that choice. It will make love and dating that much easier. 
What lover are you willing to compromise with? What is a no-go/deal breaker? What is not meant for you? What don’t you like? What is totally just not gonna mix? It’s okay. Ask yourself these questions. Find what you want in another - explore this; let yourself explore this.

Do not deny yourself that. Pain is a teacher, and it is teaching you what you desire, what you lack, and where you went wrong will ultimately guide you towards what you actually did right - and what you did right was love someone. And that what you want is okay. 
What is wrong with wanting to be loved? Is that so wrong? No. 
You stayed by someone. And you offered more and more and more. And though you did not get it back, the universe has heard you, it sees your lack. It sees your pain. 
What you desire will come towards you, as soon as you can release yourself from pain’s grip. 
Healing will come in all shapes and sizes...however, this particular pain is one you can grant yourself the wish to get away from. 
If you want to be at peace, and not harbor feelings of betrayal anymore, allow yourself to release the pain - whatever bond that keeps you in that place is no longer useful, and it is no more, and therefore cannot assist you at this time or hurt you at all (replaying it or any hurtful circumstance is the only thing that keeps hurting you -  you have full control over this; you can stop it whenever you wish; no more gruesome images - no more visions of the past, block him or her from getting what they wish)…You are free of it. And so can be free of this pain by not giving into it anymore, don’t nourish this pain with offers of your own love, your own self...it has failed to keep you safe, protect you, and doesn’t deserve anymore. 
If a situation has failed (failed you before) - it has failed and gone, 
but not you. 
And I need to reiterate this: you did not fail this person. They hurt you. They failed you. And they must go away now. It is their fate. that is the result, that is the consequence, that is karma/darma/whatever you wish to call it - cause & affect. Do not attempt to rewrite history or play God; the universe will do what it wishes, and if it wants to bring you someone - by all, it will, but you need to match up with it. 
You remain in tact, and ready for something new (different). See yourself reborn. You are beautiful - that which has not failed you before remains in tact. Be that your grace, your beauty or your worth...all of those coincide to create a picture perfect example of what you’re worth, and what you clearly deserve - which is more. 
The Hanged Man - A platonic relationship - platonic relationships are going to be very useful and beneficial to your growth and healing. 
Transforming a platonic relationship into a secure romantic one can be hard. 
But if your friendships have taught you anything - it’s that good things are possible, and therefore, love does not have to be bound to new acquaintances or other detached persons...You will find love inside this relationship. For better or for worse. Or love will find you outside of it...
However, this person will still cater to you - it is their wish. You are their desire. 
If they want more, they must prove they’re worth the effort. In the meantime, you can appreciate good conversations and friendly banter. 
Your friends will help you. You are not alone. Let them love you - it helps to heal you.

It could be that someone is embarrassed to approach you.
They must remove themselves from the fear of failure with you, and come back stronger and smarter than this. 
They must approach you with genuine desire. And request the need to end a current relationship (be that a status or not) and start a new one (with you, that is). 
I don’t think this person has necessarily hurt you. But they approached you in the past and could not release a toxic habit or a toxic relationship - therefore leaving you stranded in their past or some kind of unwelcomed circumstance (it wasn’t what you wished for). 
Though they wish to make things right again, they cannot force you. And so remain bound to what is considered a platonic relationship with you. 
As I said: for better or for worse - this person will suffer all the same. 
Either they cater to you or they don’t - YOU will find love again. 
This person has no power or hold or constraint over you. Though your hands feel tied - you are free to walk away. And if you feel stuck, as if though they are the only ones who can release you from their reigns - guess what? You can actually request this freedom yourself. 
Talk to spirit. 
Request it from either a friend, or a new romantic partnership. 
They have no desire to hold you. If they wish to see you struggle, you know what? That’s a dick move right there. lol and it’s not fair. 
See that for what it is...mind games, or emotionally detach people will just hurt you. If they claim to want a relationship—they would show you, not just say it. They would take action. And they wouldn’t leave things open-ended like this. 
You are worth so much more. That said, if you can be patient and understand this, then by all means - choose to do your work, and let this person know what you need and what you want in the connection. Let them know these circumstances do not work for you, and you would like to try something else instead. 
You have freedom of choice. If they wish to have a relationship - they should have said so from the very beginning of all of this. 
Move away from a current relationship - as it is holding you back from finding a better suitor, and finding a suitable, long term partner. Don’t stay in a relationship just because “it’s safe.” it isn’t. You will soon come out of this and wonder why you made yourself wait...for something that doesn’t exist, or never came into fruition in order to exist...and yes, I mean a relationship that never happened. Why would you wait for that to become a reality? 
It’s best to move away. 
Move into a new one - it’s coming very very fast/ soon. 
And this new person TRULY wishes to get to know you. They are quick. They do not hesitate. They are probably quick witted, and they do not wait to express themselves either. 
They may be the first to say “I love you.”
They get what they want. And they will ask. 
They want it now, and they want what is going to be what they consider the utmost happiness with you (allllll overr again lol you probably feel this way when they approach you again, and again...and again). 
*** in short: Someone has caught feelings for you. And though they cannot see this relationship any other way (though they may try): you are their end goal. 
They put a lot of effort and emotion into this. You are the result they wish to see at the end of the day. 
But:
Their approach must be different with you. To regain trust and love - they must be willing to commit - be strong in partnership - and give you their strength (their strength MUST support you, it cannot crumble to bits just because they are anxious you will not receive them as they wish).

Why all this focus on inspiration and motivation?
Because getting in shape will never be “easy”.
The first week – while you’re excited – is fun.
It’s the rainy days and snow days and busy days at work when you DON’T want to work out that will decide whether or not you actually get in shape.
But…
Unless you can find the discipline to push through those tough days, it becomes easier than ever to give up at the first sign of resistance.
And the name of the game is “consistent adherence.”
In other words, not skipping a workout and consistently eating healthy.
Step 2: How to Eat (Nutrition)
If you want to get in shape quickly, start making slightly better food choices!
80% of your success when it comes to getting healthy will depend on your diet – unless you are running marathons on a daily basis, you cannot outrun your fork, and you can’t out-train a bad diet.
If you’re not losing weight, it’s because you’re eating too many calories!
So, if you can work on making SLIGHTLY better food choices, and filling up your plate with plenty of protein and vegetables, you’re less likely to overeat calories!
Whether you want to count calories, cut out certain foods, or attempt a new diet altogether, this is the most important step you can take:

Now, most people can’t stick with nutritional changes because they try to make TOO many changes at once, their stomach freaks out and they run back to their comfort foods.
Sure, you can do things like the Keto Diet or Paleo Diet, but restrictive diets are really tough to stick with for the long term.
And temporary changes create temporary results! 
My advice? Pick one food change every few weeks, and stick with it.
To get in shape, you could try:
Eating fewer calories per day.
Switching to diet soda.
Eating more vegetables.
Cooking your own meal once a week.
These small changes can lead to big successes in the long run.

Step 3: What to do For exercise (Move!)
Okay, so now you should be all fired up and inspired and thinking,
“Hey Steve, this Nerd Fitness stuff is cool. I’m ready to get in shape.”
Let’s get started.
A) Pick goals that are SMART (specific, measurable,��achievable, relevant, and timely). Be incredibly specific with your goals so that you can actively plan what steps are needed to achieve those goals:
“I’m going to lose 25 pounds this year by going to the gym 3 times per week for the next 6 months.”
That’s a good goal.
Alternatively, you could also work on a reoccurring habit that will indirectly help your goal.
EXAMPLE: “I’m going to walk to Mordor by walking a mile every day for a month. If I go for a walk, I win.”
This allows you to review your day/week with a simple question: “Did I do what I set out to do?”
Whichever method you decide, it’s important to be deliberate in your actions:
If you are setting goals – be SUPER SPECIFIC, write them down, and plan them out.
If you are building new habits – add them to your calendar, set phone alarms or alerts, and do them EVERY DAY.
Understand that Rome wasn’t built in a day, and Optimus Prime didn’t transform in one move. This is NOT a diet, or a quick fix, but a LIFESTYLE CHANGE. Don’t expect results overnight, or abs in two weeks. Slow, steady progress.
Next, we need to…
B) Identify your Kryptonite.
Think back to the last time(s) you tried to get in shape and lose weight.
How successful were you?
How long did you stick with it?
What made you fall off the wagon?
If you failed, congratulations!
You already know which “get in shape” method doesn’t work for you.
It’s simply the wrong piece of the puzzle you’re trying to solve.
They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
So unless you enjoy not getting results, don’t try to get in shape the same way you did last time…it AIN’T gonna work!
If you counted calories, ran on a treadmill, and did kickboxing and you’re not happy with the results, it’s time to try something new.
Ask yourself:
Did work got busy or you went on vacation?
Was it because you actually hated exercising?
Whatever it was, you need to pick a different strategy this time.
C) Find an activity that makes you happy, and do it all of the time.
Do you like to run? Awesome, do that (just do it right).
Do you like to lift weights? Awesome, make sure your workouts don’t suck.
Maybe you like yoga, or dodgeball, or Ultimate Frisbee, or rock climbing, or whatever!
If you tell me that “I don’t like to exercise,” then you just haven’t found the activity that makes you happy yet.

We’re genetically designed to be active, so find something you enjoy doing.
So if you “don’t like exercise,” it’s time to try new things until you find something that you DO like.
Sign up for a new class, join your company’s running club for a day, try out something in your basement or living room, just keep trying new stuff until you find something that you like.
And then do it as often as you can. As long as you’re consistently under your daily caloric energy expenditure, you will lose weight.
D) Supercharge your results and build a great physique.
And last but not least, learn how to get strong.
Getting stronger is one of the BEST things you can do to lose weight and get in shape.
Your body processes calories differently when you are strength training compared to other forms of exercise.

Yes, I understand it’s kind of fun to be an army of one: the lone ranger trying to succeed against insurmountable odds….but it’s not necessary.
Once you decide to get in shape, want to know the best way to guarantee success? 
Here are 5 ways to find support while getting in shape:
#1) Consider making it public.
Tell your friends, start a blog, and/or inform your co-workers and ask them to keep you accountable!
Unless you like being called a quitter, you’ll probably think twice about skipping out on your workouts.
Maybe your word isn’t your bond, and you need a different kind of motivation and support to succeed.
#2) Put your money where your mouth is.
My buddy Saint said he would pay his friends $500 if he didn’t get in absolutely incredible shape for his wedding six months down the road.
Saint didn’t have $500 to lose, so he decided instead to just get in great shape…and it worked.
#3) Build your own Jedi Council.
Find people who are:
Stronger than you and work out with them.
Faster than you and run with them.
More educated than you and ask them questions.
There could even be a droid out there you’re looking for…
These are people that you can turn to when you need advice or help. If you don’t know anybody in real life, keep reading…
#4) Find a workout buddy, hire a trainer, or hire a coach!
There are going to be days when you want to sleep in and skip your workout. There will be afternoons following a crappy day of work where all you want to do is play Halo.
Find somebody who’s at a similar level of fitness as you, and work out with them!
He/she will push you on days when you’re dragging, and vice versa.
You can inspire and support each other, feed off of each other’s success, and offer up tough love when the complaining gets too much (and yes, there will be complaining).
Now, let’s say you’re the ONE person in your group of friends that wants to get in shape.
Or you’re the only person in your office who doesn’t stuff his face every day. Maybe you don’t have anybody to turn to for support or advice…

Today is the first day of the rest of your life.
Pick a goal that you hope to accomplish in the next 30 days and then start working towards it.
Keep it simple but specific, and get started today.
But I know your next question:
“How fast can I get in shape, Steve?”

You can expect to lose around 1-2 pounds per week safely if you start reducing your calorie intake (80% of the equation) and moving more (20% of the equation).
I know there are absurd diets like the Military Diet that says “Lose 10 pounds in 7 days!” But don’t believe it.
Temporary changes create temporary results! 
And our goal is for you to be slightly healthier today than you were yesterday.

Whether you do this before or after the migration will depend on how well your site is running right now.
Some people prefer to run the transfer process, check the new site using a temporary domain (more on that shortly), and then get the domain name pointing to their new site when it’s all ready.
But if your old site is currently experiencing problems (which could be why you’re moving), you’ll want your new site to be up and running at the correct domain as quickly as possible.
Changes to your DNS settings (which dictate where your domain is pointing to) can take up to two days to take effect. So the earlier you do this, the quicker your domain will be working with your new site.
You can check whether DNS has updated by using the WhatsMyDNS site.
6. Consider Transferring Domain Registration to Your New Hosting Provider
If your new hosting provider also offers domains, it could be cheaper, easier and more reliable to move registration of your domain across to them along with your hosting.
While it is possible to have your domain registered with one company and your hosting with another (and you’ll need to do this if your hosting provider doesn’t also register domains), it does make things simpler if you have both in the same place.
Check if your new hosting provider offers a free domain name with your new hosting plan—some offer a free domain name for the first year. This will benefit you if you want to change your domain name, or you want to have more than one domain name pointing at your site.

A good provider will migrate one or more sites free of charge. All you need to give them is your credentials for the old site so they can access it and move it across.
If you have multiple sites to migrate or your site is unusually complex, your hosting provider may not be able to do this for you, in which case you’ll have to go with one of the other options.
Use a Migration Tool Provided by Your New Hosting Provider
If your hosting provider can’t do the migration for you, the next best option is an automatic migration tool. Siteground has a migration tool that you can use as many times as you like to migrate as many sites as you like. It’ll even migrate multisite networks.
Check with your hosting provider if they have a tool like this: it could save you a lot of time and hassle.
Use a Migration Plugin
Another option is to use a plugin that you install on both your old and new sites to export the site and then import it to the new site. Generally you’ll find this goes more smoothly if you use a premium migration plugin—there are some good ones on CodeCanyon.
This will take a bit more work than using a migration tool like the one offered by Siteground, as you’ll have to install the plugin in both sites and then run the export and import. The final option if you’re comfortable with databases and FTP is to migrate your site manually.
This consists of five steps:
Export the database from your old site using phpMyAdmin.

8. Use a Temporary Domain Name to Make Improvements to Your Site
If you want to work on your site before making it live at your new hosting provider and want to keep the domain name pointing to your old site while you do that, you can use a temporary domain to access your new site until you update the DNS settings.
This means that if you want to change the theme, install any new plugins or make updates to the content, you can do so while visitors aren’t coming to your new site. You should also hide your new site from search engines so people can’t stumble upon it.
To do this, go to Settings > Reading and check the Discourage search engines from indexing this site checkbox.
Once your new site is looking the way you want it to, you can then either point your domain name to the nameservers at your new hosting provider, or transfer your domain registration to your new provider if they also offer domains.
Don’t forget to unhide the site from search engines once you’ve done that, or all your SEO efforts will go to waste.
9. Check Your New Site is Running Correctly
Before you’re done, you need to do some testing, just to be sure everything has migrated across as it should. If you’ve used an automated tool or your provider has done the migration for you, there should be no issues, but it doesn’t hurt to check.
If you’ve changed your domain name as part of the transfer this is particularly important. Make sure every link in your site points to your new domain name and not your old one. This will include links in widgets and menus as well as those in your posts and pages.
You can use the Better Search Replace plugin to scan your database and check for any instances of the old domain name, and update them. Be careful if you will still have legitimate uses of the old domain name—in email addresses, for example.
Take a good look through your new site, checking the following. You might want to have a copy of both sites open while you do this, but make sure you don’t get confused between the two. I find it helps if I have them open in different browsers.
Open every page and archive and check it displays correctly.
Open a selection of posts to check them—if your site is big, you might not be able to test every single one. Check custom post types too.
Click on the links in your widgets and navigation menus and check they’re pointing to the right place (and using the new domain name if you’ve changed it).
Check that images are loading correctly.
Run through any processes on your site such as filling in forms, purchasing products etc. and check they work correctly.
It’s a good idea to ask a few trusted people outside your organization to check the site is working okay for them—this will ensure that it’s not just working correctly when accessed from your IP address and that any cached files aren’t being affected by development work you’ve been doing.
Once you’re happy with your site, it’s time to publicize it.

If you’ve used the migration as an opportunity to make improvements to your site, then now’s the time to start telling existing and potential visitors and customers.

When we are under chronic stress, eating a poor diet, or constantly in a poor emotional state for extended amounts of time, it can lead to a disruption in the HPA axis (also known as adrenal fatigue). This can be problematic for many reasons.
The HPA axis is responsible for cortisol regulation and cortisol plays a key role in blood sugar balance. If HPA axis dysfunction leads to chronically high or low cortisol levels then blood sugar imbalance may result which will then result in cravings.
There is also some evidence that chronically elevated cortisol levels can interfere with the reward center in our brains and reinforce negative habits (2). Strengthening the HPA axis may be a critical factor to stop sugar cravings.
Emotional Eating 
If you feel like your eating habits are driven by your emotions, or become poor during times of high stress, this is not uncommon. What I often find in this scenario is that by addressing dopamine levels, people find it much easier to regulate their behaviors.
Dopamine is a neurotransmitter that is responsible for the reward system in our brain that has a lot to do with our motivation to accomplish goals, make good decisions, and control emotions. It has been shown that sugar consumption not only spikes blood sugar, but also causes a temporary spike in dopamine.
This dopamine-spiking effect of sugar can actually become addictive and when trying to cut sugar from the diet we often encounter a dopamine deficit that makes regulating our behaviors more difficult. Additionally, blood sugar imbalance can increase dopamine enzyme activity. This means dopamine is broken down faster and a higher amount is needed to stimulate the same amount of pleasure (3).
1. Lemons, Limes, and Apple Cider Vinegar 
Sprinkling the juice of lemons and limes over your foods will change the way your body processes them during digestion. The citric acid within those juices will change the way your digestive system processes your foods in a way that slows blood sugar response (4).
Apple cider vinegar has a very similar effect and has been shown to lower the glycemic index (blood sugar response) to higher carbohydrate meals significantly (5).
All three of these liquids also have a range of other nutrients that can aid in digestion and help promote better insulin signaling. Simply adding these to your foods can be a great strategy. As an alternative, you can also add 1-2 Tbsp. to a glass of water and drink about 30 minutes before eating for a similar benefit.
2. Low Carb, Ketogenic-Style Diet 
As has been alluded to already, many of our blood sugar problems simply result from the overconsumption of sugar. One of the most powerful dietary strategies I have found to stabilize blood sugar, improve hormone balance, and kick sugar cravings is a ketogenic-style or low-carb/high-fat diet.
By replacing high amounts of refined sugars with predominantly healthy fats and only consuming slow-digesting, low glycemic carbohydrates (when necessary), you are taking a massive step towards better health and blood sugar regulation.
Another benefit of eating predominantly fats is their effect on satiety (feeling full after a meal). Dietary fats help promote proper secretion of leptin which is a hormone responsible for satiety as well as healthy blood sugar balance.
3. Air Squats
Another MAJOR reason for blood sugar imbalance is inactivity. If we don’t use our muscles regularly, then stored sugar remains in the cells while blood sugar gets diverted into fat stores.  By using your muscles through movement, you can burn up those stored sugars and improve blood sugar response for 2 hours following.
My recommendation is to perform 20-50 air squats whenever you start to feel the craving for sugar coming on. For an added benefit, try this Super Brain Yoga move that combines the squatting motion with a specific pressure application using your fingers to improve brain function!
If you have knee problems or for some reason cannot perform a squat, you can also perform an overhead press with light weight.

4. Water & Good Salts 
Sugar cravings can often be a result of dehydration and improper mineral balance. At first it can seem like these variables don’t tie together but it actually makes a lot of sense why you would crave sugar when dehydrated.
Our liver utilizes water in the process of converting glycogen into glucose for energy. If we are dehydrated then our ability to maintain steady blood sugar decreases and the body tries to compensate by signaling you to consume more sugar.
Consuming adequate amounts of a high-quality salt such as Himalayan pink will help maintain proper hydration by providing trace minerals and electrolytes like magnesium, sodium and potassium. They will also promote proper balance of stress hormones which profoundly influence blood sugar.
Use pink salts generously on foods or add a pinch to your water before drinking. I personally use this pink salt. 
5. Use Natural Sweeteners
Eliminating processed sugars and fast-digesting high-carb foods is one of the primary strategies to stabilizing blood sugar and eliminating sugar cravings. To safely consume sweet, delicious foods, make them homemade with natural sweeteners like stevia and monk fruit.
The fact that they contain no sugar also makes them awesome for use in a ketogenic diet.
6. Reduce Stress & Adapt Stronger 
Stress can be one of the most destructive forces to the human body. If we learn to tame it however, it can also be one of our greatest means for growth. The first step is make sure we separate bouts of stress with enough rest to fully recover. Our body is adapted for short bursts of high stress, but chronic stress can lead to problems.
I fully understand the fast-paced nature of our society today so for times of prolonged stress it is important to ground ourselves through exercises like deep breathing, meditation, gratitude, prayer, and getting out in nature. These kinds of activities pull the body back into a parasympathetic state where recovery can occur.  In this article, I go over a number of strategies to help you adapt stronger.
For additional support, it’s important to obtain adequate amounts of B vitamins and magnesium to help support stress responses in the body. I have also found adaptogens like cordyceps and ginseng to be incredibly powerful for this.  I will often use Adapt Strong to help my clients adapt to stress more effectively.
7. Support Dopamine Production
Dopamine is most commonly associated with the reward and pleasure centers in the brain. When we finish a task or accomplish a goal, our brain releases dopamine that gives us a feeling of euphoria. In this way, dopamine also highly regulates our motivation and ability to exhibit will power. Consequently, I have found that sugar cravings and compulsive eating habits are often a sign of low dopamine levels.
Supporting proper dopamine production will allow you have greater willpower over your dietary choices and overcome sugar cravings. Proper strategies for optimizing your dopamine levels are outlined in this article.
In my clinic, I always recommend Dopamine Plus for my patients who are struggling to overcome sugar cravings. It contains clinical doses of L-Tyrosine and DL-Phenylalanine which both help to promote healthy dopamine production. I have found that it works very well in conjunction with Adapt Strong for supporting healthy dopamine levels.
