#it's 1:07 am here and i'm kinda hungry

"baby." you murmured, shuffling around in your bed to face the man, still very much wide awake with his phone screen lighting up his face.

he hummed in answer, glancing over your way. you'd fallen asleep a while ago, he'd noticed, but now you're up again. "i'm hungry." and you're hungry.

vernon had frowned at that, checking the time on his phone before a pout settled on his lips. "you think it's a bit too late to call up mingyu?" you chuckled at his question, wrapping yourself around the man as you made yourself comfortable, but you were still too hungry to go back to sleep.

"probably." you mumbled, a small smile on your lips. "maybe you can order something?" you suggested, and vernon checked the time again.

"it's past midnight, babe."

"so calling up mingyu now is okay, but ordering is not?"

vernon was rendered speechless at that, you were right, they were the same thing. but, what else could he do?

"do you think the diner at the end of the street is open?" he questioned, but he was met with silence, so he called for you again and you hummed in answer, muttering something along the lines of 'i don't know', but it was more gibberish-y to him.

you were falling back into deep slumber, yet you were demanding food. and you were leaving the choice of which food up to him, how cruel is that?

"i'll get us pizza then." he hummed and you'd hummed back.

"wake me up when the food gets here." you demanded, before a light snore had escaped your lips, almost as if you were muttering that in your sleep. maybe you were, vernon wouldn't know though, as he got the pizza and left it on the bedside table, untouched while he was dreaming away in your arms.

Hii i love your Dick and Tim series and I love them too, I’m not sure if u take requests, but it would be so nice if you could fine times where Dick and Tim referred to each other as brothers. Or maybe Dick calling tim little brother ( I’m a sucker for that)

Top 10 Moments with Dick, Tim, and Food

(in chronological order - it’s sort of a canon timeline but also I was hungry)

Shared food is one of the ways that Dick and Tim are often shown bonding.  And by “shared food,” what I mean is, Dick finds food for Tim.  Please enjoy my ten favorite examples.

1. Dick makes dinner in Prodigal 1

(My favorite part of this panel is Tim’s weird smushed-face of amazement in the second panel.  “Wow!  A WHOLE PLATE OF FOOD!  Just for me!”  My second favorite part is that I have no idea what food that’s supposed to be.)

my favorite thing about the Dick and Tim Batman run (other than DICK and TIM) is that Tim's previous Batman experiences were 1) Bruce being self-destructive pre-Bane, and 2) Azrael,

so Tim’s all “you LISTEN to me?? you do not hurt the criminals?? we work TOGETHER?? like a team? my hero!! my hero for one thousand years!!”

and meanwhile Dick’s sunk deep in “why am I such a failure at everything”
