You always liked how Ei is when she's fighting. So strong and powerful, so elegant and fast, so serious and determined. She was incredible, to be honest. You admired her everytime when you asked her to show some of her training. You always sit on the floor not too far away but to be in a safe zone and look. Your elegant and soft Ei was turning into a merciless soldier, focusing on her battle with a puppet because only Raiden Shogun is able to keep up with her destructive rhythmic pace.

They fight for hours before Ei hops back raising her sword and says "Enough for now." and Shogun nods before leave. Then Ei always approaches you and sits down near you with a light smile on her face when she notices your adored gaze. She listens to your excitement about how awesome she was back there and tells you stories from her past.

That day was exact the same. But today you wanted to do something. And the thought itself was making you squirm on the floor in anticipation of the end of the training.

When the training was over, Ei sat down near you and sligtly smiled as she saw your smile. "That was SO cool, Ei!" you said. "Can you teach me something of that?" that slightly startled Ei. You? Wish to train? You was so sweet, so fragile in her eyes, she wanted to protect you from all the evil. But yet, she wants you to be happy, so your wish is her command. "Okay, if you want so," she said, making you jump out of excitement. She stood up with you. "Let's see how skillful you are first, alright? I won't be too hard on you." Ei said with the sword in her hand as she waits for you to take one of the swords in the room.

But what she didn't expect is for you to take your shirt off. Her eyes got a little wider as she didn't know the purpose of it. Her eyes wandered along your torso, abs. White crop top looks good on your surprisingly fit body. Ei could feel the heat on her cheeks as you throwed your shirt on your seat spot and started limbering up. Wow. You looked pretty much stronger now and less fragile than she thought before. Your little smile was sweet as always, but now more determined, confident.

As you done preparing for the little sparring, you grabbed one of the swords and took a fighting stand in front of Ei. She, on the other hand, shook her head to stop staring at you because, Dear Archons, you really looked surprisingly beautiful and strong. And if there's something that Ei likes in human, it's strength and determination. And you looked pretty determined and excited.

Let's just say that the training went very calm and relaxed and after this Ei sat down and asked about where you learned to fight and get that fit body. No naughty intentions, she really is just curious.

Yae Miko

It was a pretty busy day for the shrine, everyone was busy with something: cleaning, helping people that was coming from time to time. You came to visit Yae and you really didn't know why you was with Yae Miko in one of the shrine's rooms, but one look at her was enough for you to know that she's up for no good. She just suddenly took your hand once she saw you and led you in the shrine without greeting or even explanation. And now she stood up in front of you with her usual playful and sly smirk. You looked like a bunny, cornered by a fox. Her hands were behind her back, she clearly holds something in them. "Um... Miko? What are you up to now?" you asked, making her playful smirk get wider as she let out a soft chuckle, looking right into your eyes.

And then she hands you folded clothes. And suddenly you realized what she wants. She wanted you to help her in the shrine, because they were running out of free hands. You let out soft "Oh..." that made her giggle. "Well? Are you up to it?" Miko asked, raising her eyebrow. You only laughed light heartedly and nodded. "Fine, I'll help." You took the clothes and turned your back to her to change your clothes.

As you took your shirt off, Miko hums with playful surprise and that makes you turn to face her with a raised eyebrow in a silent question. Yae smiled slyly with a soft chuckle as her eyes admired your form as you stood there in your bra. "Something's wrong?" you asked. Yae shook her head with a smile. "Nothing. I just didn't expect my little flower to look so strong and beautiful. You look pretty amazing," she says with a slight sparkle in her eyes, and her words made you blush slightly as you quickly turned around and continued changing your clothes. Your blush didn't go unnoticed by Yae Miko and that made her laugh in amusement. "Clearly precious little flower. Guess I'll need to watch closely so no one will try to take you away from me because of how adorable and stunning you are." She adds with a sly smirk.

All the time you walked on the territory of the shrine, you always could feel her looking at you. But at least no one bothered you or made you uncomfortable.

Sangonomiya Kokomi

Kokomi was coming home pretty tired last few days. You was understanding, she has a lot of work to do everyday, but you still hated to see your beloved in such state. So you took care of her every single day when she was like this: cooking her favorite meal, preparing a hot bath for her or giving her a massage as she falls asleep from your loving and gentle touch that never failed to make her worries and troubles melt away and just feel safe, relaxed and at home.

But today she managed to take a little day off to just relax and spend some more time with you. Finally, you had a pleasure of seeing her face instead of empty side of the bed when you woke up. She was sleeping peacefully, her lips slightly parted as her breathing slow and calm. You looked at her for a couple of minutes before standing up to cook her a breakfast. You already got whole day planned for both of you, you wanted it to be lazy day, but still fun and interesting.

After both of you ate your breakfast, you decided to watch some TV and after whole day filled with cuddles, movies and eating snacks, you asked Kokomi if she wants to go and swim a little, and you was ecstatic when she agreed. You both grabbed your swimsuits (you also grabbed your sword, because it can be unsafe and you will always make sure to protect your precious girl) and after some time you both was on the shore.

You was happy to see Kokomi smiling because the place was quiet and so beautiful.

While she was admiring the view, you decided to take your casual clothes off, because you both put on your swimsuits under your clothes before heading out to this place. (sorry, I really rarely go to swim even at the summertime, so this can be quite unlogical)

When Kokomi turned to face you, her jaw dropped. You was standing in your swim suit, and damn your body looked pretty fit and strong. You looked like her own bodyguard now, not like her girlfriend. She looked you up and down, her face getting pretty red.

"Wow, my lovely, you look beautiful." Kokomi muttered, looking to the side, feeling a little flustered now. You only giggled, standing a little closer to her and leaving soft kiss on her forehead. "Thanks, Kokomi. Now let's have fun and swim, shall we?" You said gently. Kokomi nodded and took off her own casual clothes, standing in her swim suit as well. You gently took her hand in yours and then started running towards the water, making her laugh and laughing along. It was pretty memorible day off for both you and Kokomi.

(Kokomi deserves the best of cuddles and comfort, she's so pretty, omg...)

Xiangling: GREETINGS!!!

Xiangling: WE have gathered here today to try and accomplish an impossible task...

Xiangling: Educate one Raiden Shogun how to make food!

Xiangling: Any food! Preferably something easy that doesn't involve fire

Venti: So like, half the options then

Raiden Shogun: You all need not to worry, Yae has been giving me pointers recently

Furina: You realize that doesn't make it better right?

Furina: What do you at least have an idea of how to cook?

Raiden: ...

Zhongli: How about Osmanthus-

Venti: NO

Xiangling: Alright lets start with... Onigiri! That's simple enough!

Venti: Morax I bet you 10,000 mora that this building will be on fire by the end of this

Zhongli: I shall not participate

Xiangling: First we need to cook the rice! Ei, would you like to do the honors?

(Pulls out rice cooker)

Venti: Xiangling I think the second Cataclysm is upon us, Ei's doing a good job

Xiangling: Excellent! I assume your done with the filling, so now all we need to do is assemble!

Xiangling: Now for the hard part which is getting- EI WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING?!

(Raiden was trying to take the freshly cooked rice out of the cooker and put the Nori and filling into a bowl)

Xiangling: I said ASSEMBLE, not MIX

Raiden: Choose your last words carefully, Barbatos

Furina: Calm down guys, lets just get back to the teaching aspect of this show

Xiangling: Alright, I agree with Furina, Back to business! Though ig Ei ever turns this into a business then I'm calling the Sangonomiya Samurai and starting another rebellion

Xiangling: Now we need to take half a hand of rice and put filling in it

(Proceeds to put a copious amount of filling atop her rice)

Xiangling: Yeah!! that's what I'm talking about! Go big or go home! Now we just need to put another half a hand of rice and stick it to encase the filling inside

Shivada Jade - Sorry... to also have you shoulder the grievances of the world. Since you could endure my bitter cold, you must have the desire to burn? Then, burn away the old world for me.

Um, a little confusing, but I guess this is just saying that the Cryo Archon is taking people's traumatic past and being like "You've been through a lot. Come fight for me and I'll make it better." Then behind her back, she's like "Psych, dumbass." So... yeah. But I can def see that her main goal is to change the world. That's obv.

Prithiva Topaz - The currencies that flow through this land are my flesh and blood. For thus did I become the guarantor of the people's hard work, wisdom, and future. This is the trust I have placed in them. Betray it, and you taint my blood.

Aw. This one's the sweetest of them all. (That makes me sound crazy, but who cares). Zhongli being all "Here, live a good life. But if you betray my ways, you taint me. Don't wound me." And that just sounds so cute and adorable to me.

to see his homeland finally break out of this old concept of “eternity”, vox could never be more thrilled and proud to have seen through all phases of inazuma

it’s not when the traveler one day came by to casually converse with miko, vox also present, when he suddenly overhears something of interest

“do take these sea ganoderma for my adeptus friend, won’t you?” the priestess says, handing the blonde traveler the blue plants

adeptus…? vox has heard of those. it’s been a long time since actually

it reminded him of a friend he used to have back in the flourishing land of liyue, back when the sakoku decree was still void

perhaps, a visit to liyue would be a good vacation from his centuries being in inazuma?

“traveler, paimon, may i speak with you a moment?” he asks them

“hm? what’s up, vox?” paimon responds

“you’re traveling back to liyue, yes?”

the traveler nods, “yep, we are. why?”

the demon smiles, “may i come with you? i have a few old friends there. paying them a visit wouldn’t be a bad idea, don’t you think?”

the traveler and paimon grins, nodding approvingly, “we’d love to take you there! it’s always nice to catch up with old friends once in a while.”

once up there, vox never thought he’d seen architecture so beautiful and he truly does have an appreciation for pretty things

“ah, miss ganyu! she’s right upstairs with lady ningguang and lady keqing. come right up, traveler. oh… and this is?”

paimon turns to vox, “oh him? he’s a visitor from inazuma! he’s our friend.”

“i see! welcome, dear guest. i hope you find liyue to be of your liking,” the secretary bows respectfully.

“i’m sure it will, thank you,” vox does the same, before following the traveler and paimon up the stairs to ningguang’s main study

“hey ganyu!!”

“oh? traveler? paimon?” the mentioned adeptus raises her head up from her paperwork. the tianquan and yuheng turn to look up at the traveler’s arrival as well

“ah, if it isn’t the traveler and…. hm? who is this new guest?” ningguang faces the demon

“oh, right! this is our friend from inazuma who’s visiting. his name is vox akuma, but you can call him vox,” paimon introduces first as vox stepped forward to make himself present

all these faces were new to him but they showed promise they’ve taken care of liyue very responsibly

“apologies for my intrusion, ladies. i am here for a little visit to my old friends. the traveler will be my tour guide while i’m here.”

ningguang laughs, “it’s not a trouble, mr. akuma. i am ningguang. this is keqing and this is ganyu. i hope you find liyue to be an exciting tourist attraction.”

“okay, anyway, ganyu—“

as the real business was done, vox’s heart deflates just a bit at the thought of having to leave you but he knows he’ll be seeing you again soon

after the visit from the jade chamber, it seemed like the traveler and paimon had other matters to tend to and unfortunately could not accompany him the entire time

“ah, that’s fine, traveler. i can find myself around,” vox nods understandingly. just as he was about to venture liyue alone, he hears the footsteps of someone behind him

he turns and is surprised when he sees you, shyly smiling at him

“h-hello vox!” you greet him, hands behind your back. “i couldn’t help but overhear the traveler saying they couldn’t accompany you around liyue. so… um, i thought i could since i’ll be off the schedule for a while. if you don’t mind of course!”

back in inazuma, people would’ve stayed away from crossing paths with him mostly because he was a demon

they’d find a way to avoid him and well, after centuries of experiencing this, he’s accustomed to doing things himself

yet here you were, pretty much still a stranger to him but so willing to help him out, even if he didn’t really need it

vox already thought you were such a sweet little thing, how could you be any sweeter than this?

he can’t help but smile, very genuinely at that. “of course i don’t mind, y/n.”

you grin in return, walking to his side. “alright, shall we?”

vox nods and you start leading him around town

he’s seen his fair share of weird and wonderful creatures, ones just like ganyu and miko, gods like the raiden shogun

so he really shouldn’t be surprised learning about your species, but it’s something about you being part adeptus makes you more special in a way?

“so is it safe to assume you are an adeptus just like miss ganyu?” he asks you

you tense up and laugh nervously at the mention of your identity, “just part adeptus. i’m half qilin just like her.”

when you weren’t busy working for the qixing, you were always up to take vox around liyue as best you can

taking him to areas he’s never seen before, foods he’s yet to try, ruins bountiful of treasure to look together for

vox never once regretted the choice of coming here, as he had met you. would staying here really be a bad idea?

“hey, y/n, you’ve never taken me to jueyun karst before. that was where you were raised as a child, right?” vox asks you one day. you nod

“yes, i was. would you like to go? it’s quite a walk from liyue harbor…”

the peaceful look on your face, like nothing could bother you at this moment. he wished he could see you like this more often…

“how much longer will you be staying in liyue, vox?” you ask him, snapping him out of his daze

“ah, i honestly don’t know. i’ve found a home here it seems,” vox laughs. “but it looks like the traveler will be back soon from their business this week, so perhaps when they return to inazuma, i will too.”

suddenly, he sees your eyes droop ever so slightly with disappointment

“i see,” you answer, looking down

vox then smiles, reaching for your hand and bringing them to his lips to kiss them. you blush at the gesture, but don’t retract

“i will return again one day. i’ve had a wonderful time with you and i’d like to experience it all over again,” vox whispers, leaning closer. you smile softly. “perhaps you should visit me in inazuma and i will return the favor.”

giggling, you nod, “perhaps i will.”

Mysta Rias 🦊🔶

this troublesome detective is of liyue descent, often traveling between his homeland and mondstadt where he likes to fancy himself a tankard (or five) of alcohol in their famous taverns

since he already is from the land of commerce, filled with magical beings of the adepti, he is familiar with you

even when he was a child, you’d sometimes be seen in his vision as he played with his friends

he’d often see you rush around liyue harbor with another person that resembled you (was ganyu her name?) and though he always was interested in your pretty horns, he was a bit too shy to ever come up to you

it’s only when one day, in the middle of night he decided to sneak out of his home to play with his friends near the south wharf playing pirates

the boat was rocking a bit too much and mysta, before he even realized, wasn’t even on the boat anymore and into the freezing cold water

“AHHH HELP!” he screamed into the night, splashing hastily to stop himself from drowning. but his friends didn’t know how to swim either as they too started wailing for help

mysta’s visions starts to blacken and the flailing of his arms begin to weaken

but… he feels something warm?

was this it? is this the so called afterlife?

“hey, hey, are you alright?” he heard someone say to him. but he was too tired to answer as he finally collapsed

when mysta finally awoke, he was safe on his bed in warm clothes. the day had turned to morning it seemed…

who had saved him last night he wondered?

mysta rose from his bed and found his parents talking to someone in the living room

“again, thank you so much for coming to help our boy, y/n! we could never have imagined what would happen if you hadn’t,” his father said, voice breaking slightly

“it’s really no problem, mr. rias. i’m glad he’s safe now.”

ah! there’s the voice he last heard before passing out!

mysta leaned a bit to see from the doorway and there you were, the person he kept seeing in the city with the pretty horns

he smiled and went to thank you properly, only to be met with the fate of falling to the floor out of imbalance

“mysta! are you alright?”

mysta’s parents came rushing to him and you stood there, finally noticing his presence

the young boy stood up then brushing himself off. “yeah, yeah, i’m fine!”

his mother helps him up, she said, “mysta, this is y/n. they're the one who saved you last night. go thank them, will you?”

“oh there’s no need for that, mrs. rias. i’m sure he’s tired,” you wave your hands around as you smiled nervously, a tint of pink on the apples of your cheeks. but the woman doesn’t listen and has his son stand in front of you

shy as mysta still was, he didn’t feel afraid of you. you were… really pretty up close.

“th-thank you fo saving me last night!” he said, looking up at you as the hero you were to him. and you can see the very visible stars sparkling in his eyes

though you were visibly shy about it, you can’t help but smile at small mysta. you crouch down and say to him, “of course, mysta. be careful next time, okay?”

and that’s how mysta saw you as a child, as a hero, as a role model, as someone you can look up to.

he kept seeing you too, always asking you to play with him whenever he saw you pass by

but as he got older, still asking to hang out with you whenever possible, you started to refuse him more and more

“i’m really sorry, mysta, i have a lot of work to do. can we hang out another time?” you frown apologetically, to which mysta only sighs at as he let you go again that week

“alright fine…”

you touch his shoulder, “hey, i’ll make time soon.”

but you never really do and he wished he could be with you all the time, getting to know you more

that was until he got a bright idea on how

“mysta? what are you doing here?” you asked him upon seeing him in the jade chamber behind baishi

“y/n, good to know you already know him! he’s going to be training under you from today!” baishi announces

you widen your eyes and look back at mysta, who only grins excitedly

this man? the boy who slipped off a boat and almost drowned? now working under you?

you can’t help but giggle, “alright then. welcome to the liyue qixing, mysta. i hope you’re ready to take on all the work we have for you.”

mysta salutes, “i’ll do my best!”

and his plan did work

the first few days, he was ecstatic he got to see you more often by a significant amount of time

you would show him how to do basic work, how to sort out the necessary papers, which goes where, things you have to do in the day

there were some hiccups, but you as his reliable superior and a long time secretary in the liyue qixing, you were able to save mysta’s ass a lot of times

but then he notices why you’ve been putting off time to hang out with him back before he started working in the liyue qixing

mysta watches as the staff would pile up more and more work on your already weighed shoulders, almost as if without mercy

and he watches you smile as you willingly took them all, promising them a deadline as they left

he wasn’t the one being given all these tasks, yet he feels irritated all the same

“hey, y/n, why are you letting these people give you all their workload? don’t they know you already have a lot on your plate?” mysta huffs, helping you carry some paperwork over to ningguang’s study

you sigh, offering a smile at the man, “it’s my job, mysta. ask ganyu. it’s always been like this as the secretary of the liyue qixing for the past thousands of years.”

“thousands?????” mysta’s eyes bulge at the sound of it and he could feel his back breaking

you giggle, “yep. thousands. it’s fine, i can handle it. and you too, you know? you can give your work to me if it’s too much for you to handle.”

mysta looks at his workload, then back at you, “are you crazy? you’d have so much to do…”

“i’ve done more than this, i promise,” you beam once again

and after a few weeks, mysta truly sees how you are as a person

back when he was a kid, he thought you were just super busy as the qixing’s secretary alongside ganyu

but he never thought that it would even cost you your sleep time

“alright, i’m clocking off. come on, y/n, wanna get something to eat?” mysta offers to you as he stretches his back out

you only hum, still focusing on your papers with a pen in hand. “sorry, mysta. i still have work to do right now. you go on back first.”

with a sigh, he nods, grabbing his coat off the chair. “alright then, see you tomorrow, y/n!”

in the morning though, mysta is mortified to see you asleep by the desk, the foot tall stack of work from last night completely gone

he gently taps you on the shoulder, internally hoping that you hadn’t been here all night, “y/n? wake up…”

“hm?” you groggily get up but then you straighten yourself up quickly upon realizing it was morning. “oh, it’s morning already! archons, i need to see if ganyu, lady keqing or lady ningguang needs anything! thanks for waking me, mysta!”

morning already? so you had been here all night…

as you went to stand, mysta immediately stops you, “hey, hey, don’t you think you need some rest? haven’t you been here all night?”

you rub your eyes while you gather your things, “it’s okay, i’ll get a nap later. i’ll see you soon mysta!”

and before he could say anything else, you’re off again

how you’re still alive until this very day from this much work still baffles mysta

he understands how people marry themselves to their work but this? this was too much. even if mysta didn’t have a say in it

when was the last time you had a day off…?

how long until you finally collapse from the work?

then he had a idea, one that was gonna benefit you but potentially risk his job. but it was worth it, seeing how much you’ve done so much for liyue

this was the least he could do in return

so as you finally caught yourself a break, mysta runs over to you

“hey, mysta,” you say, exhausted from today’s work. but your greeting goes unanswered as the man grabs your arm without warning. “hey, hey, where are we going?”

“to get food of course! did you eat anything today?”

you were about to answer, but you understand you have nothing to answer with. so you shut your mouth again.

“mhm, just as i thought,” mysta smiles before bringing you over to chihu rock, specifically at third round knockout. “one (favorite meal) please!”

you look at mysta, “thanks for the lunch, mysta. but i can’t stay long…”

“nope, not today! you have the entire day off!”

“what?”

“yep, you heard that right. i asked lady ningguang and lady keqing, they said that you could have the break.”

“b-but-“

mysta waves his hands in the air, shushing you, “no buts. no more work today. you’re gonna eat and sleep.”

all you can do at this point is just not protest and do as he says, eating away at your favorite meal when it finally came

you don’t know why but as you finish your meal, you can’t help but tear up

mysta begins to panic, “ah, y-y/n??? are you okay?”

you smile, shaking your head, “nothing, mysta. it’s just… i never had the chance to eat my favorite meal in a while and i can’t believe i’m eating it here with you. thanks mysta, it means a lot to me.”

as the tears fall from your cheeks, something in mysta stirs awake

the urge to wipe them away for you, the urge to hold you and tell you everything was going to be okay, the urge to protect you when things like this happen

before, mysta only wanted to be able to hang out with you more, the pretty hero with the pretty horns

but now, he wants nothing else than to see you eat your favorite meals again, get the sleep you needed and just… relax and be able to enjoy yourself

mysta nods, pink tinting his cheeks as he spooned his food, “y-yeah… no problem.”

a simple boy with a mother from mondstadt and inazuman father (hence his surname) who used to play with the dandelions outside the gates of mondstadt, now a powerful business man that rivals even diluc ragnvindr

his business consists of transportation and investment, helping with the cargo of dawn winery and even the rare items born of inazuman craftsmanship due to his bloodline

while at first luca’s company flourished only in mondstadt, he made the risk of branching it out to liyue

and that is when he, for the first time, traveled to liyue for business rather than pleasure as a child

when he came into the city of commerce, much has changed since he came last

the first thing luca knew what to do was to come to the liyue qixing since he did want to branch out a particularly huge company

so he asked around beforehand and was told to meet a person named y/n

luca has yet to meet this y/n person, as often as he visited liyue as a kid but he has heard from the people of mondstadt that they were half-adeptus

look at that, it’s only his first day in liyue for business and he’s going to talk to a half-adeptus!

luca was ecstatic to say the least, he’s seen diona and her father draff (even talking raven oz), but to see an adeptus felt different

especially since he’s been told all his childhood that the adepti were great creatures that helped out the people of liyue when times were rough

luca was so far into his mind and wonder that he hadn’t realized he bumped into someone

“oh archons, sorry, sorry!” luca quickly apologizes, stepping back to look at the poor person he had pretty much crashed into. “are you alright…?”

then, he froze in his place

woah… so pretty… a-are those horns on their head?

luca raises his head up to meet the most beautiful pair of eyes he’d ever seen and a very adorable shy smile

his heart had skipped a beat even without him knowing

“no, no it’s okay i wasn’t looking either!” they said, shaking their hands insistently. “my apologies mister…?”

it’s only when they asked for his name that luca returns to reality, to which after that he laughs nervously, “ah, luca. luca kaneshiro.”

“luca kaneshiro?”

luca nods, “mhm. and you are?”

“oh, it’s me, y/n! liyue qixing representative for your business proposal here in liyue!” you smile, bowing your head. “welcome to liyue harbor, mister kaneshiro!”

this was them??

“just call me luca,” the blonde man scratches the back of his head bashfully. “a-and thank you for the warm welcome!”

you giggle, “o-of course! it’s only polite. you can call me y/n by the way. shall we get going, luca?”

wait what was he for again…? oh right right business proposal

“oh, right, right. a restaurant named liuli pavillion?” luca inquires

“yes, just this way. it’s not too far.”

and he follows you to the said dining spot

man, he had the pleasure of meeting you? and why did you have to be so pretty??

no luca, this is completely professional!

he mentally slaps himself on the face as he struggled to walk in a straight line behind you

once inside the restaurant, he is immediately greeted with a feast of only the most delicious liyue cuisine and some mondstadt dishes tailored specially for his arrival

“take a seat, luca,” you say to him

after taking a seat, you sit just across him. “i hope you find our culinary to be up to your tastes. we made some mondstadt dishes if you’d like them as well.”

luca nods, grinning, “of course, of course. thank you so much for the hospitality.”

“would you like to eat or talk about your proposal first?”

ah like the true professional you were, luca thought

“we can discuss the proposal first, if you don’t mind, y/n,” only because i don’t want this business lunch to feel like a date…

you nod, taking out your appropriate files onto your lap and sliding a few documents onto the table. “of course! the kaneshiro company, company of transport and investment. you’ve made quite the name in mondstadt and have even made quite a close partnership with dawn winery and many other companies. h-have i detailed it correctly?”

luca smiles reassuringly, “yes, that’s all correct. you did good research, y/n.”

at the compliment, he notices you turn bright red and he can’t help but grin widely at the cute expression

“thank you… this is actually my first time being a representative specifically for business inquires like this. i’m glad i’m not messing it up the first time—ah, apologies, i was rambling…” you look away, your face much redder than before

god, you were so adorable. “hey, hey, you’re doing good! and well, even if you make mistakes, i’ll happily point them out for you.”

you shyly look up at luca and give him an appreciative beam, “thank you, that would actually be very helpful. i’ll do my best. let’s get on then?”

luca’s heart burst into a million pieces seeing you smile like that and now he’s the one turning red. “yeah, let’s continue.”

now even though you said this was your first time becoming a business representative, it seemed as though luca was the rookie here

all you’ve laid before him was done professionally, all carefully tied together with the right words and calculated meticulously, not a single detail to be missed

luca almost couldn’t catch up with you with how impressed he was, but he didn’t want to lose either

by the end of it, the meeting went successful!

you were able to represent the liyue qixing and welcome luca, and he was able to branch out his company in the land of commerce!

“please, eat, luca. you’ve had a long journey here, haven’t you?” you gesture towards the food. “i’m sure you’ll like it.”

“of course, i’ve had some as a kid as well. have you ever tried mondstadt dishes though?” luca asks, taking a spoon to reach for the first dish. black-back perch stew he thinks it’s called?

you shake your head shyly, “n-no actually. i’ve never had the time to. i just eat whatever i have on hand.”

upon hearing you say that, luca instantly grabs the plate of sticky honey roast, one he particularly liked to eat back home. he pushes it over to you with a bright smile, “have this! it’s sticky honey roast. it’s really soft and has a comforting sweetness to it.”

you look at the meaty dish before getting a knife and fork, cutting down a piece yourself. then you face luca

he grins, “go ahead, eat first.”

and with that, you take a bite of the so-called delicious dish and your mouth is filled with the mentioned soft sweetness of the meat

“oh, it’s really good,” you sigh. “i should try mondstadt dishes more huh?”

luca nods excitedly, “yeah! totally!”

you can’t help but giggle, a sound luca finds to be adorable

archons, everything about you was adorable at this point

as he dug into his own food, he can’t help but keep staring at your horns

they truly were nothing like he’s ever seen before and he wanted to know more about your half adepti heritage

“hey, can i ask about your horns?”

at the mention of the specific body part, you instantly shrank and avoided eye contact with luca

he immediately notices, saying, “o-oh you don’t have to talk about it of course…”

“n-no, it’s just… i’m really shy about them is all,” you admit quietly

at this, luca gently puts down his cutlery. when you also realize how quiet the dining table was, you raise your head

“you know, as a kid, i always thought the adepti were so, so cool. and when i first arrived here, i got so excited that i was going to meet one. and when i saw you, i thought…” luca blushes, looking away with an embarrassed smile. “your horns were what i noticed first. i thought they were really interesting and pretty…”

ahhh did i say too much??

but then he hears you giggle. he turns his head back and you are no longer shy. instead genuinely laughing at whatever was funny to you

honestly, he could’ve made a fool of himself right then and there, but it didn’t matter now that you weren’t shy anymore

you were so cute in his eyes, how could you be insecure?

“thank you, luca,” you say with a soft smile. “i-i thought you were pretty too. your tattoos were what i noticed first and i thought they were really, really cool.”

he looks down at his chest, where his most prominent tattoo was and then at the ones on his fingers. he grinned

“th-thanks!”

well, guess that business lunch slowly did turn into a date huh?

and when it was time to depart for the day, luca wish it hadn’t

there was still so much the two of you hadn’t talked about!

so as you both reached outside, he took up the courage to ask you:

“do you wanna have lunch again?”

luca looks at you, square in the eye as you did to him.

you had said the exact same thing together.

you instantly shy away, avoiding eye contact once more, visibly evaporating really

but luca’s heart leapt for joy, taking that as a very good sign that his feelings were reciprocated!

“sooo,” luca grins, leaning towards you teasingly. “come onnn, look at me for a second, please?”

at his request, you can’t help but turn anyway, despite how flustered you were.

when your pretty eyes finally met his, he took your hands and squeezed them tight. “lunch? tomorrow maybe?”

you giggle, nodding, “i’m free tomorrow. where?”

luca looks up to think with a hum, “hmm, how about you show me around? show me what foods you like?”

you turn a thousand red shades brighter but smile nonetheless as you felt your heart begging to burst out from your chest, “i’ll meet you here, okay?”

luca finally lets go of your hands, leaning back onto his own two feet. “will do, y/n. you have a good day, alright?”

you nod, smiling as you waved, “of course. you too, luca.”

you disappear into the crowds, on your way to continue your work for the day and luca is off to find himself some vacancy for the next week here in liyue

a week he hoped will be filled with many many fun meals with you, talking about all the topics that existed in the world

who said a trip can’t be both business and pleasure, hm?

our literary and musical genius was born in the city of wind and freedom, but did have the fortunate chance of traveling and studying a few years behind the locked gates of inazuma

on his return, he had learned their language well and was able to make a name for himself as a novelist through the yae publishing house

his books came in bulks of print, many bards came to him for advice and some even commissioned him to write a few pieces of music

it was through one of these contracts that brought him here in liyue, a land made up of ancient songs and poetry, a land bountiful of wonderful inspiration, ike thought

sure, he’s passed through liyue a few times but he’s never made time to really settle in with its unique culture and mingle with its people

so imagine his plight when he saw an unfamiliar horned humanoid pass by him in the blink of an eye

he had never seen this person before, but they sure did interest him

in a way how an artist is piqued when they see another piece of art

oh, did he literally just call a stranger a piece of art?

he didn’t even know their name for archons’ sake…

horns, hm?

ike is a man of literature, as we all know, which is suffice to say that he definitely has read up on liyue history and mythology

the horned creature of these lands should be what they call the qilin, an adepti among many other kinds

knowledgeable as he was, of course, he’s never seen an adeptus in person and ike eveland is one very curious man

ah, why was he thinking of this random person? he had a job here, didn’t he?

so ike goes to meet his client as promised, a musical connoisseur who wished to start a project with him

“mr. eveland! it’s so good to finally meet you,” the client greets ike with open arms, a wide and warm smile to offer. ike accepts his welcome as he sat down before the man

“it is a pleasure, too, mr. chaoxiang.”

“how are you liking liyue so far, friend?” he asks ike

“oh, i haven’t been able to linger much here. perhaps, when i have the free time i’ll look around,” he shrugs. chaoxiang then begins to speak more about the project he intends to start with ike when he sees a familiar form pass him by

ah! it’s the curious horned creature again! oh, they were with another horned creature with soft blue hair…

“mr. eveland?”

ike snaps out of his daze and apologizes profusely, “i’m terribly sorry, i was… distracted. liyue is a beautiful place after all.”

chaoxiang chuckles heartily, “it is, isn’t it? full of weird and wonderful people. but beautiful all the same. do be sure to make time to venture around. it’s worth to take a look at, mr. eveland.”

the horned stranger disappears again, along with the other person in the corner of ike’s eye

he can only wonder when he will see them again, if fate, of course, ever permitted him

later, after the meeting with chaoxiang had finally adjourned, ike makes his way around town to find some food when he decided to stop by one particular eatery named third round knockout

decent enough for both his appetite and wallet

he sits and orders whatever he deemed palatable, before again, he sees the horned stranger he has been catching sight of twice now today

but this time, they linger a bit longer

they seem to be busy talking to the present merchants

“hmmm, they’ve been walking around the town all day, talking with different people and now merchants. i wonder if they hold some sort of important role here in liyue?” ike mumbles to himself as he studies them again

“that, you are right.”

ike pauses and looks up at the source of the voice, who seemed to be a young man clad in a brown themed suit and coat

“do you mind if i sit here with you? i couldn’t help but overhear your deductions,” he politely asked

ike nodded, not wanting to be rude, “sure, take a seat there, mister…?”

“you may call me zhongli and you are?”

“ike, ike eveland,” he smiles

zhongli nods, “ah, the literary and musical master hailing from mondstadt, are you not?”

ike chuckles, slightly embarrassed. “i guess so.”

“now, would you care to tell me what you think of our lovely and hardworking y/n of the liyue qixing? the person you’ve just made an observation about?” zhongli turns his head back towards you, who was still chatting away with the merchants

ike did the same. y/n of the liyue qixing, so they do play an important role…

“oh, nothing much, just…” caught my interest in the middle of my work is all. ike clears his throat quietly. “i’ve never seen them around. but again, i’ve never traveled much around liyue.”

zhongli hums, “i see. well, my friend, they’ve been here for… my, thousands of years already now as they are part adeptus. ever so loyal to the liyue qixing. might i ask you, why did you suddenly have an interest in them? are you not here for work?”

hoo boy this zhongli man is getting on his nerves because he’s being eerily correct

“i-i am,” ike laughs nervously, sneaking a glance (or three) at you. “part adeptus? from what i’ve read, they seem to resemble a qilin.”

“you’ve done quite the research for someone who doesn’t travel in liyue often,” the man chuckles deeply, taking a sip of his tea. “they are, just like miss ganyu. they’ve seen the rise and fall of liyue, and even as far back as the archon war. though they are incredibly knowledgable and reliable in many aspects, they do tend to… overexert themselves a bit too much. you might not see it directly, but the poor soul is exhausted from their work. and from what i’ve seen, it’s only possible they have even more work after this.”

“wait, but you said they’ve been in the qixing for thousands of years now. does that mean…?”

zhongli sighs, “indeed, unfortunately. from what i’ve heard, they’ve been like this from the very start they started working there. i wish they could realize they need a break sometimes.”

ike looks at you once again, this time preparing to leave after finishing your discussion with the merchants

he understood that work can be very, very addicting since he too tends to busy himself with it

but ike could never imagine filling his next thousand years with work, never getting the rest he needed, even if it was the work he liked a lot

“say, mr. zhongli, how is it that you know so much about y/n even as far as back as a thousand years? are you a close friend of theirs?” ike spoons himself the food he orders, waiting for a response from zhongli

the mysterious man smiles softly, “perhaps i was, once.”

after dinner, ike said goodbye to zhongli and went back to the inn he was staying in to rest

chaoxiang apparently couldn’t make it for their morning meeting, so he postponed it for later in the late afternoon

in the meantime, ike decides he would venture liyue as he planned to do

first stop: wanwen bookhouse

at the sight of bookshelves upon bookshelves of stories hidden in between pages, ike smiles

but then he sees… you

you in your mysterious but charming aura, mingling amongst literature and other literary fans

ike watches you poke around the shelves, pulling a book once then putting them back if you didn’t find them interesting

with curiosity brimming inside ike, he couldn’t help but approach a bookshelf beside you

apparently though, you hadn’t completely noticed him as you were nose deep into your chosen book

your eyebrows furrow with focus. your pupils scanned through the many blocks of text and something about it just makes ike smile

you looked attractive this way

it’s then ike notices just what you were holding pushed him to speak to you

“ah, ike eveland. you fancy his works?” he inquires first

at the sudden question, you raise your head up to look at ike and upon realizing who it is you were talking to, your face turns bright red

“i-ike eveland! u-um, hello!” you smile nervously, slamming the book close and hugging it to your chest. “i didn’t get the memo you were here in liyue. o-on business?”

ike chuckles, “yes, i am. you must be y/n of the liyue qixing?”

you could’ve sworn you never saw this man walk around liyue much, but how is it he already knows so much? research perhaps…

“yes, i am.”

the novelist nods, now averting his gaze to your very noticeable qilin horns

all this time, he’s only read about them and only see you from afar. to be able to see them so up close was marvelous

“you have such lovely horns, y/n,” ike comments, smiling as he studied them more. how they curled so daintily, the colors complimenting your entire figure and how well kept they were

but then you suddenly step back, avoiding eye contact with him completely

“something the matter, y/n?” ike asks

you shake your head shyly, mumbling, “n-no, it’s nothing. i’m just particularly shy about them is all. to have someone like you especially complimenting them…”

oh this precious soul, ike grinned

he turns to the bookshelf before him, then recognizes a certain book before pulling it out for a quick graze over its contents

“i’ve read a lot about the adepti. they were powerful and benevolent creatures, helping the people of liyue back in times of need. especially in the aftermath of the archon war,” he begins, closing the book again to face you

you seemed to have turned back to look at him as well, although still a bit shy

“i think even now, they are loyal to this land. such as yourself,” ike then hands the book to you, as a way of offering it.

the sorcerer was born and raised in inazuma before his family decided to move to liyue when he got a bit older, now using his natural jujutsu abilities as an exorcist

he even went to the sumeru academia for a good time in his life which further strengthened shu’s powers

back home, he starts his job as an exorcist and his first mission brought him as far as to the sacred land of jueyun karst

shu was skeptical, but he moved on, seeing as there was no harm in checking it out anyway so long as he didn’t make a ruckus to anger the present adepti there

he follows the tracks of the disturbing spirit lurking around, expertly making the right turns and taking more efficient paths

it’s when shu hears the swing of a blade in the air does he stay alert and summon his weapon, inching against a wall of stone

from behind his hiding spot, shu was able to catch up on some incoherent hilichurlian

he jumps out of his spot, but is only met with the last hilichurl falling to the ground

shu searches for their main assailant, and is met with the mysterious but graceful horned figure carrying a (your weapon of choice)

were they an adeptus?

they pant as they look at their defeated opponents, the scent of a heavy fight in the air

“hey, are you okay?” shu calls out, only for the stranger to flinch at the sudden newcomer

“oh, it’s nothing! just some extra feisty hilichurls is all,” they smile reassuringly at the sorcerer, sheathing their weapon back in place as they crouch down at the defeated creatures

shu too decided to study them down, as they were the ones that led him here in the first place

a dark aura emanates from the hilichurls and it wafts of bad energy, signaling shu that these were no ordinary enemies in the wild

he surveys the area but is glad to know the only source around are these groups and nowhere else nearby to worry about

“they must��ve been disturbed by a bad spirit judging from these dark particles surrounding them,” shu puts away his own weapon, summoning a purple seal before he lays it down by the hilichurls

upon landing, the dark spirit that once lingered evaporates immediately and all is at peace again

the horned stranger hums before standing up, “it seems so. you sound to have quite the experience in the world of spirits. you must be an exorcist.”

shu laughs, shrugging, “i am. i’ve only started working a few days ago though.”

“you show great promise, mister…?”

“shu, shu yamino. and you are?” the sorcerer/exorcist offers them a hand to shake and they gladly take it with a shy smile of their own

“y/n, of the liyue qixing.”

oh shoot he literally just ran into a qixing staff!

shu bowed his head out of respect, cleaning off his casual language, “oh! pardon my uh, impoliteness, y/n.”

but you wave your hands frantically, insisting, “no, no, please. it’s alright. i’d rather you not be walking on egg shells around me, shu.”

he breathes a sigh of relief, glad that he has yet to offend anyone as he stands straight again with an embarrassed smile

“alright then! so,” shu looks around the area of jueyun karst. this place was so far away from liyue harbor though, most of your qixing duties would’ve mostly needed to be done in the city. “what brought you here?”

you ruffle through your adventuring bag and show him a few bunches of qingxin flowers, “someone at the jade chamber got a bit sick and we ran out of medicine. i rushed here to get some and ran into this troublesome lot.”

you gesture to the hilichurls lying on the ground before stuffing the white medicinal flowers back into your bag

“well, i have to hurry back now. good luck in your future work, shu. i can see you doing so much good for liyue,” you proceed to skip away, waving at the sorcerer with a bright smile. “i’ll see you!”

you finally leave jueyun karst and shu can’t help but feel something void in the middle of his chest as you disappear farther and farther away

the next day, after quite the uneventful schedule of wandering around wuwang hill, shu makes it to the south wharf to find some time for himself

after arriving home, he admittedly hadn’t been able to venture around liyue much so to rest and take things easy was a good way to end the day

“man, kinda hungry. i’lll stop by wanmin,” he mumbles to himself, taking the right lane towards the mentioned restaurant

but he’s surprised when he sees you, waiting in line at wanmin’s… half asleep

he notices how you keep swaying and your eyes not completely opened, the people around not noticing either

shu immediately runs to your side and gently taps your shoulder, which immediately wakes you and you are left to recollect where you were

“huh?” you yelp, looking around the evening streets of liyue and then back at shu, who you realize woke you up from your tiny nap. “shu! hi!” you are interrupted by a yawn before you continue what you were going to say to the exorcist, “it’s nice to see you here.”

but shu frowns, still visibly worried seeing you literally fall asleep standing up in the middle of the busy street, “hey, if you’re tired, why don’t you get some rest?”

you smile apologetically, shaking your head, “no, it’s alright. i’ll probably get back up again after i eat. are you eating here too, shu?”

stop avoiding the fact you’re exhausted, y/n…

and just in time, it was yours and shu’s turn to order

“hey you two, what would you like tonight?” chef mao greets while dusting his hands together, ready to take your meal orders

“(your favorite dish) please,” you say, turning to shu. “go on, you can order. i’ll pay for you.”

after paying, you step aside with him as you wait for your orders to be finished

“hey, you really should go home. you literally fell asleep while standing up, y/n,” shu frowns, crossing his arms

but again, you shake your head, tired as you were, “it’s fine. i wouldn’t be getting any of my work done that way anyway, so…”

“can’t work wait a little? i mean, i’m sure you’re very good at your job! but, don’t you need some form of rest? is the liyue qixing that… um, work demanding?”

and now up close, shu notices the dark circles under your eyes and just how pale you were

he was worried if you had any sleep at all because of work

wait why was he so worried over you…?

“thank you for your concerns, shu. but i’ll be fine. i’ve been doing this thousands of years already after all.”

“thousands??” shu gasps, which makes you giggle.

“i suppose since you didn’t recognize me yesterday, you wouldn’t have guessed. i’m part adeptus as you could probably tell and i’ve been here for quite a while,” you put your hands behind your back. “but really, i’ll be fine. you have nothing to worry about.”

“i-i know you’re half adeptus and you’ve been doing this job for years but still…”

and shu would know what it would be like to be swamped with so, so much work being an alumni of the sumeru academia

he remembered the times where he felt like collapsing but having the obligation to push on

you want to protest again, but it seems like the sorcerer won’t be accepting anymore messages…

you walk through liyue harbor, even going as far as leaving the lively city. you still don’t even an inkling what’s going on or what shu’s doing

but you somehow don’t have the heart to refuse his plans

silly, to think you just met him yesterday too

yet here you were, trusting him like you’d known him for years

after a while, shu finally stops and you take a good look at your surroundings

it’s quiet unlike the city, only the gentle chatter of fauna and whistling trees all the while the sun begins to bid its goodbye for the day

“let’s sit here,” shu tells you, pointing at a certain spot a few feet before the ledge

he plants himself down, to go boxes in his lap as he patted the spot next to him

you sigh and does as he suggested anyway

and then you see the entirety of liyue just from where you sat, blanketed in a comforting and beautiful pink-orange hue

as a liyue qixing staff working in the jade chamber, of course you’d seen liyue as a whole many times. but up there through your office window, liyue looked like it was weighing you down

but from here, with shu by your side?

it was your home, the land of where everything began, the place where all your friends and people were

you smile, without a sliver of work burdening your mind

and shu noticed that

“here,” he opens your box, handing it to you with the appropriate utensils as he did the same for himself. “dinner.”

you graciously take it from him, “thank you.”

“hey.”

“hm?”

“know when to rest, okay?”

you heart melts at the simple words, but meaningful all the same. you nod, “i will.”

unlike before as well, even the way you said it, shu knew that you meant it this time and this puts his heart at ease

not many words were spoken between the two of you, but none of you really minded

so much so shu almost doesn’t realize the weight dropping onto his shoulder. he turns and finds you nodding off, with him as the only form of support

“i told you you were tired,” shu sighs but you don’t answer him. he chuckles, “off in a different world, now.”

the sorcerer puts down his empty box and lets you doze off some more, as you clearly needed it. shu might be stuck in place, until who knows how long you’ll wake up, but he’s more than glad he could contribute to you getting some rest

and shu continues to hope that he can offer that for you as long as he could

“i’ll be back, alright? just wait for a while and i’ll be back with the raiden shogun’s gnosis.” you said, stopping yourself from following your superior— la signora —to look back at your lover, who’s rather not pleased from the sudden order you were given by the said superior.

scaramouche rolled his eyes, looking away from your gaze. “yeah whatever. don’t keep me waiting for long, will you?”

you smile widely, happy that he’s willing to wait for you. “of course. see you later, scaramouche!” without letting him reply, you immediately ran off to find la signora.

as the doors closes behind you, scaramouche narrow his eyes, thinking about… a feeling that’s been bothering him for a while.

just what is it that’s bothering him so much?

“what am i even thinking? i’m pretty sure it’s nothing.” he muttered to himself.

an hour had long passed since you left— but to scaramouche? it felt more than just an hour. his subordinates watched as their lord harbinger walks around the room, his face says it all: irritation, impatience, and most of all, worried. he won’t admit it though. after all, it’s not like you’ll die right? it’s just a simple meeting with the raiden shogun.

“this is bad…” scaramouche halts his movements from the sudden comment of one of his subordinates, who was busy talking to a cicin mage. “everything’s getting worse back in the city and there’s no sign of one of the harbingers.” the fatui agent added as the cicin mage nods in agreement.

he then furrowed his eyebrows, slowly turning to where the two fatui members are. what do they mean there’s no sign of one of the harbingers?

it didn’t help how it had also started to rain harder than before, the loud sounds of the crashing thunders made scaramouche feel even more anxious and irritated of your absence.

“it’s probably just la signora being missing. i’m sure y/n is on their way back.” he mumbled to himself, shaking his head off before walking back to one of the rooms in the hideout, hoping to make his thoughts of you go away.

to this hour, the feeling still didn’t go away.

“…why are you back?” scaramouche says in a dark tone, eyes narrowing at the sight of the 8th harbinger walking inside the room with a smirk on her face. “whatever do you mean, balladeer?” she asked.

la signora stays silent, although her smirk didn’t fade away, scaramouche could see how it slightly twitched downward.

she lets out a fake sad sigh, looking away from the man’s angered gaze. from that look alone, scaramouche knew something had happened to you, yet that didn’t stop a part of him from hoping that you’re actually alright.

until la signora starts talking again.

“it’s disappointing how the raiden shogun was merciful for giving them a quick death. i would’ve enjoyed it if that archon had done a slow agonizing death.”

his heart drops, eyes going wide from la signora’s comment.

the woman didn’t fail to notice, pleased to see the man’s facade beginning to fade away. “i must say… they’re very bold for challenging the raiden shogun a duel in exchange for her gnosis. it’s such a shame that they’ve fallen.”

scaramouche’s hands turned into fists, trying not to listen to the fair lady’s words. “leave.”

without another comment, la signora heads out from the room, leaving the other harbinger alone with his dark thoughts.

he would’ve stopped you from going to death’s doorstep had he followed his stupid gut feeling.

if anyone were to enter the room he’s in, they would’ve felt suffocated from the purple energy seeping through the furious harbinger. despite so, the man could care less if anyone got injured because of what he’s going through.

scaramouche then removes his hat, staring down at a certain picture of you and him together when you first took him out to inazuma’s fireworks show.

“my wish is to love you and not leave you forever.” you whispered to him, watching as the fireworks have been set off to the skies for you to see. “what about you?”

— you don’t like crowds? don’t worry, she’ll be by your side with your hand enveloped in hers. ningguang will lean down and whisper your ear about how well you’re doing as y’all carefully weave through the crowded streets. she doesn’t stop for anyone and keeps going to whatever y’all suppose to go.

— if you are prone to have random anxiety attacks, she wants you to be near her at all times so she can watch over you. if you wish to go out and she’s unfortunately busy then she will task her trusted secretary, ganyu or even keqing to assist you on your travels. if you truly wish to go out on your own then she won’t stop you but ningguang will express her concerns to you.

she sighs, squeezing your hand with worry in her eyes as you reassure that you’ll hold your own. “ i cannot stop you from going out on your own but please be careful out there my dear. you’ll give me quite a fright if i find out something happens to you when I’m not there. “ you nod with a confident smile and she reluctantly sends you off with a chaste kiss on your forehead.

The Archons walked in with their signature outfits then all of us bowed then Baal, Barbatos, Morax looked at me as if i was a prey then it flatters me a bit then with all of them charging onto some stone the stone sculpted broke into peices after going through the 7 archons's charges then it looks like some kind of crystal then Barbatos stepping in taking it onto his hand and closed his hand and the wind was slowly getting powerful then Morax took it and the ground slowly shaked then Baal was next and she closes her eyes and Lightnings were heard throughout the sky i looked at Lumine who was figuring out what were the Archons trying to do then i suddenly passed out

I woke up in an unknown room but when i look around i saw Baal, Barbatos, Morax..sitting on the chairs..then my breath hitched as i saw blood stained on their clothes and hands and their face...Those eyes...looks like somethings awakened upon them...then Baal came to my ear and so as Barbatos was infront of me and Morax on my other side they all whispered to me while slightly kissing my neck and touching my shoulders...

Ayaka

Ayaka was often seen as the best role model for how aristocratic people should be, but beneath her seemingly perfect behaviour she was nothing more than a lonely girl with no experience when it came to how to interact with people. She of course knew how to be polite, but everything else like how to behave in a friendship or relationship wasn’t something she was good at.

All of that meant, that when the two of you became friends and later a couple, you had to slowly teach her all about it, and even though you tried taking everything slowly, you knew that you would have to be the driving force behind every new step in your relationship.

Ayaka and you were wandering through Chinju Forest, simply talking about all kinds of things and enjoying the privacy the woods granted you both. Even though she had happily indulged in your conversation not so long ago, Ayaka had slowly grown silent, focussing so much on your hand swinging next to your body, that she slightly startled when you waved the other one in front of her face.

“Are you okay Miss Kamisato?”, you asked her, visibly being worried, but before answering your question, she started blushing and hiding her face behind her fan. It wasn’t as if you have never witnessed what she did when she was embarrassed. You could still remember how red she became when you called her by her given name for the first time and while she didn’t seem to have a problem when others close to her called her “Ayaka”, she would always become a flustered mess if you did it.

“I’m fine, I’m sorry for worrying you”, she stated while diverting her eyes, so she didn’t have to look into yours, feeling embarrassed by what she was about to ask. “But there’s something that I wanted to ask from you”, she began and even though you couldn’t see her whole face, the deepening red of her ears was enough to make it obvious that she was blushing even more furiously.

“Of course. Say whatever you need and if it’s in my power to fulfil your wish, I will”, you answered without hesitation, accidentally coming closer to her, only for Ayaka to back away by a bit. Her reaction caused you to realise your mistake and do the same, before apologising and after an awkward silence that went on for far too long, she finally spoke up.

“I-… um, can I hold your hand?”, she asked in barely more than a whisper, causing you to stare at her with a surprised reaction. Usually, you were the one initiating anything, since you knew that she was too embarrassed to do so, so her taking initiative was something completely new.

“I-It’s fine if you don’t want to- Just please forget that I said anything-”, she started back-paddling in a panicked state, having interpreted your surprised look as a horrified one, only for you to shut her up by taking her hand into yours and smiling at her, causing her face to become a shade of red, you didn’t think would be possible.

“Of course, I was already worried that it might be something much more serious. But if that’s everything you need, then I’m happy to comply.”

I know we have a reverse au/reader is from the abyss au but in light of recent certain content (possible spoilers btw!)

What if reader was from Enkanomiya, had the blood of the watatsumi retainers, so they probably have those vishap forms (and a cool looking set of eyes) so they appear in liyue with a mask like Tsumi from the event! By this time, childe would have been turned into mothman and Zhongli is keeping an eye on him.

He is probably very curious about the not-so-human reader like??? You smell like a lizard but ur clearly a human... and the mask! Are u like him perhaps?

So he just... stays by your side, going all over you like some sort of cute dog curious about ur scent. He finds comfort in it after being with you for so long! Zhongli leaves him to you (and simultaneously leaving you to him, just in case)

And then in a hurt/comfort kind of deal, when mothman is revealed to be the one who nearly drowned liyue, everyone hated him obviously. So your only option was to go back to Enkanomiya and maybe spend your days there terrorizing the local hilichurl or two or maybe fighting some abyss herald or lector. Childe would find comfort in there, being near the abyss and constantly fighting!

Ofc since the reader is also a vassal/retainer of watatsumi, they welcome them with open arms so if it gets too lonely, reader and childe can have a date in Watatsumi :)

alright alright consider this- you're a descendant of the Vassals of Watatsumi and therefore have more experience and intuition when it comes to divine creatures like Vishaps or Archons or Abyssal monsters, yeah? what if you go to Liyue because you noticed the Abyssal darkness that Enjou (ENJOU MY BELOVED) released as part of the Abyss and Vishaps' deal beginning to affect the environment (maybe you're less affected at first because you're only partially non-human), and you want to seek help from an Archon who isn't the Raiden Shogun because she's not going to help anyways, and the next nearest nation is Liyue.

of course you're crushed to find that Rex Lapis is apparently dead, as he was basically the best choice to perhaps help you with this situation, and spend a few days wandering the city both to grieve and observe human life. eventually you run into Zhongli, who immediately sees that you're non-human and consoles you over Rex Lapis' "death" (Zhongli you FUCK) and you two quickly become friends. he keeps teaching you about life outside Enkanomiya and one day takes you back to his house, where you meet Childe.

and Childe is IMMENSELY curious about you, from your mask to your clothes to your odd scent to the mysterious Enkanomiya you mention in conversation, and he sticks around you and both of you become very, very close, which is exactly what Zhongli had in mind.

even though you're decently happy in Liyue, you DO want to go back to Enkanomiya and begin preparing for the trip back. Childe is crestfallen and whimpers and nudges your hands the entire time that you're planning a route- he desperately wants to stay with you, he likes you very much!!! Zhongli eventually asks you to take Childe with you, as he can't stay in the Harbor due to the Osial incident, and you agree as Childe chirps happily and snuggles against your neck.

when you get back to Enkanomiya, though, the entire land is shrouded in darkness from the Towers of the Void. Childe loves it, the Abyssal magic resonating with him and the thrill of battle returning, but he notices you're not faring well. in fact because you're a Vassal descendant the Abyssal darkness affects you as well, and you're gradually getting sicker as it poisons you. eventually it cumulates in you collapsing one day and not getting up when Childe nudges you, like a dead sort of sleep.

and so Childe's left alone again, with your ill, fretfully sleeping self.

hi im swag and this is an idea im going to be working on so suck it

i actually used the small amount of brain that i had to really think on some of these headcanons and aspects. i dont know if someones ever done this but i dont see anyone else

jeff : ngl jeff kinda leaves me in between pyro and visionless. i love the idea of a visionless jeff because, jeff is a narcissist. i feel him obtaining a vision would be almost like an insult to him. i guess his strength would feel kinda.. threatened? to put it simpler, he feels like he does not need the vision to be strong and hes good enough without it. 

yet on the other hand, i like the idea of jeff being pyro. id even go as far to say he’d become the pyro archon. i dont say this because i think hes powerful, i say this because jeff’s personality radiates with fire. hes very easily irritated, is always angry, and much like fire hes hard to control. the archon factor comes from the fact that jeff has conquered fire, hes been through it and his dangers and survived. and for people like jane, he even used that fire to harm others. and i know you’re thinking, “what about jane then?” i have different views on jane, and youll see why later. jeff would use a nice sword, and itd be short to match his knife. 

ben : ben is the electro archon 100%. there is no other candidate that fits the role like he does. one, ben can control lightning, he can teleport, he can go through electricity- and much like every electro vision bearer, ben is different. ben is seen as an outcast. what also brings me to this conclusion is the raiden shogun’s idealogy of eternity. the moon children, bens cult, often refer to something called ‘the eternity project’ where they kill their physical bodies and replace their mind with a digital being; allowing for the individual to live forever. i believe ben would be a catalyst; for he can cast spells at the snap of his fingers. and also; bens main source is electro, but that doesnt mean ben owns multiple delusions.

my reasoning for this isnt to make ben overpowered; but to show his lust and desire for all the power he can get his hands on

jane : yes, jane did also conquer fire; but i feel she fits the spot i put her in more. much like characters such as albedo or ningguang, she is very calm. even in times of panic she holds and stands her ground. a common recurring thing in geo bearers are they work hard. jane works hard, not only for herself but for vengeance. jane has a goal and she knows what it is. unless jeff, jane plans things out ahead of time.

i know like, in canon, jane uses the same weapon as jeff. but since she wants to be better than him; i feel like it’d be fitting to give her a claymore. it would show that she can wield more weight on her back. i thought about giving her a polearm because girlboss, but the claymore idea made sense to me.

he would've ignored the cat's presence like with any cat he sees, but there was something... alluring.

"i would've been to that village by now if it weren't for this," he cursed to himself, giving the cat a spare bread that he found in his inventory.

the cat purrs before it started eating the bread, causing scaramouche to start walking away with a sigh.

he thought that was the last time he's seen the cat.

"...you again?" he furrowed his eyebrows when he felt the cat rubbing its head against his leg, purring happily at the sight of the harbinger.

after a few months since the meteorite investigation, the tsaritsa requested him to visit the geo nation to check up on northland bank ever since tartaglia left the nation with la signora, to which he grudgingly agreed and set sail by the next day.

which led him to where he is now, standing around guili plains after humiliating his subordinates around luhua pool–

and watch a cat dirtying his legs.

scaramouche lets out a sigh in defeat. "you're lucky i'm not in the mood to do anything against you."

the cat simply meows in response, as though it understands what he's saying.

he didn't know why he's being so... nice to the cat, but he could care less about it. right now, he just needs some fresh air and not have to stomp around while threatening his soldiers with every chance he gets.

by the time scaramouche calms himself down, he shoos the cat away before strolling back to luhua pool, not bothering to look at the cat.

"till next time, i guess."

the moment scaramouche encounters the cat for the third time, he was in inazuma.

"now how the hell did you get here?" he raises an eyebrow at the cat, scoffing in disbelief. "are you some weird spirit or what?"

if anyone were to see the 6th harbinger talking to a cat, they would've been shocked or laugh at the sight. thankfully, his estrange encounters with the cat were always somewhere private and secluded, unless you consider the dead bodies of treasurer hoarders as something that doesn't consider these encounters as private.

scaramouche concluded that the cat definitely has an owner, who's probably searching for their lost cat in panic.

the cat is probably purposefully running away from the owner, he thought to himself. it was obvious that the cat is that smart to know it's way back.

...so why is it here?

perhaps it misses the bread?

scaramouche tries to go through his inventory for the bread, curious on the cat's intent. to his relief, there was still bread in his inventory.

however, before the man could give the bread, he suddenly heard a voice calling out.

"rei? where are you?" out of instinct, scaramouche keeps the bread in his inventory and stands on guard by the stranger coming their way to his path, hoping it wasn't some soldier from the raiden shogun's for he wasn't in the mood to dirty his hands with a person's blood again.

fortunately, it was just a person with an adventurer's outfit, searching for someone.

the someone was surprisingly the cat.

"ah, rei!" you cooed, causing the cat to meow happily and run to you. "you devious little thing, took me a damn while to find y–"

scaramouche's eyes widens when you started walking away with the cat, who kept meowing and trying to get out from your grasp. uhm, he can tolerate being ignored but going away without an explanation? how irritating.

if it were any other cat, the harbinger would just let it be– but much to his confusion, his feet moved on its own and finds himself walking towards you until he touches your elbow with a strong grip to keep you steady.

"who the hell are you?" he asks with a harsh tone.

you decided to meet ganyu the moment your homeland made some major changes thanks to the raiden shogun.

as a vision-wielder, you couldn't afford to let the vision hunt decree get their hands on your vision. especially when you heard from your townsfolk that people will forget certain memories and ambition when their visions got taken away.

you prefer to give your soul over your memories of your soulmate.

and so, you immediately contacted your dear friend, thoma, who suggested fleeing from the nation with the help of the crux fleet.

after arranging a deal with beidou, you started packing your things and get ready to go to liyue harbor the next day.

however, your neighbor snitched to the vision hunters about you, causing a few hunters to barge in your home and try to take your vision away hours before you could go to beidou.

one thing led to another, you immediately fled from your home as a vigilante and a now wanted person in the vision hunt decree.

but you could care less if your archon is after you, you could care less if you're considered a criminal, all you care about is to get away from your home and go find your lover, now having a chance to finally meet her without a worry about going back.

you didn't bother telling ganyu about your situation, not wanting to make her worry. it wouldn’t hurt to make this a surprise, right?

your heart skips a beat as you step foot on the boat, listening to your lover's ranting about her duties in your head with a smile on your face. you wondered what she would think if she sees you.

and so began your journey in liyue harbor.

it didn't take you too long to find your way to yujing terrace, the moment you stepped foot onto the area, you started looking around, hoping to see someone who you think is ganyu.

"hey uhm," ganyu suddenly speaks up in your head, causing you to flinch in surprise. "i heard what happened to inazuma. are you okay?"

crap, how did she find out so fast?

you aren't sure what to say, afraid of what ganyu would think of you. should you lie to her and give her more reasons to possibly despise you? should you just suck it up and tell her the truth?

"...i'm uh, i'm okay, don't worry." you said in your head reassuringly, looking around your surroundings anxiously as you think about what to say next.
